Is Dreamboys Moving?

I visited Dream Boy at its' new location over the weekend. Others above have accurately described the place. The premises are impressive: Same as when it was Lucky Boy. For a boy bar its' a gigantic size with tiered seating- a bit like theatrical circle and stalls (UK style) with an enormous high ceiling and all seating in front of a grand stage. Comfortable and exciting. I had already been to a few bars and had consumed plenty of booze when I got there to Dream Boy ; quite busy maybe 50-80 customers with about 40-50 boys. Mainly masculine types with a sprinkling of other types. They could improve by getting more twinks. The show was as usual and ok but nothing special. As I had been on a bar crawl that night with a guest in tow I will not reveal how much I spent..... Most of the go go bars are charging 350-400 per drink and as I enjoy my drink, so it was a pricy night out and important at every bar to check the bins carefully and the change. Incidentally off fee is 500 baht. By chatting to the mama san can easily find out which boy does what, etc. Despite a lot I spent, I had a great night and Dream Boy is a fun place: Can recommend! 😀

    How was your weekend?

I arrived in Pattaya Saturday...off from Nice boys, then someone from Jomtien complex after he finished work. Since they had to close at midnight Sunday, went with the same guy to the beach to drink after he finished work, stayed there until almost 5am..... I'd like to write a trip report, but my brain races like squirrels running around and it will end up , probably 😏

  3. I'm with you on that. I do like a high end expensive restaurant once in a while if I like the food. For me the priority is how well I like the food. It doesn't matter to me how well appointed the place might be. For example, I have a favorite restaurant for lunch - and it is open only for lunch. If you get there around 2:00pm don't be surprised if it's already closed. It's rickety old bench seating with rickety tables and flatware of the quality you might find in a Dollar Store. Nevertheless the place is almost always packed with Thais, even in heavy rains. The menu is entirely in Thai - no English at all. But the menu does have pictures. If your smartphone has a translator app such as LENS, no problem knowing what you're ordering. It's probably best to go with a Thai friend, at least the first time. Why do I like it so much? Because he specializes in crab dishes and every one of them are fantastic - better than I have ever had in the best of restaurants. And he doesn't skimp on the portions. Even better, the most expensive item on the menu is about 200 baht. The name of the restaurant is Gao Krapao Poo GPS coordinates: 12.96002, 100.91052

  4. As kind of an aside, those of you who have been around long enough might remember the Pattaya Gay board, owned by Allen Briggs, and the Dreaded Ned board. In those days my board and their boards constituted the "Big Three". The three of us used to meet regularly, usually at my house, and discuss the board goings on, how we each like to run our boards, what we want to see on our boards, how to handle trolls and other problem posters, etc. My boyfriend at the time always made lunch for us. Now I believe the only board owner actually living in Thailand is me, so such meetings are no longer possible. I miss that. One goal I had, and actually still do, was hoping to get good participation from all the major gay venue areas in Thailand - Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Samui, and Phuket. That has been a failure and instead my board became "Pattayacentic", mainly because Pattaya is where I live and I rely on those living elsewhere to help provide information about their areas. I get good participation from Bangkok, once in a while from Chiang Mai, but to this day I don't think I've ever had even one post from anyone living in Phuket or Samui. Even now the board owners cooperate with each other and try to help each other when a need arises.

  5. I appreciate that very much. Each of the "Big 3" gay Thailand forums offer their own unique themes and approaches - which is good. If all the forums were doing the same thing, then it would all quickly become boring. By the way, I should have said the menu I posted is the entire menu. There are no additional pages.

  8. How was your weekend? Plenty of sex ,bars, boys? I started off going to a "Bear" night at my local gay pub, every Friday night is Bear 🐻 night, plenty of young Thai guys with older daddy farangs 😂 here in Sydney Australia I even spotted a boy who used to be a dancer in Boyztown, I actually offed him a few times in 2013 He of course didn't recognise me and I certainly didn't want to approach him with his farang BF I presume and tell him he topped my ass in the Baan dok mai nearly 10 years ago 🤣 I'm shore many of you would recognise him , well glad to see he has made a life in Australia 👍 Then Saturday night off to the biggest Gay Sauna $28 in Sydney, plenty of Asian young guys unfortunately all mostly bottoms 😟 I look a Top I guess and some cute Asian boys came up to me , "can I suck your cock ? Wanna fuck me ? Unfortunately being a bottom I had to decline but many of these Asian guys actually looked like tops ,none were girlish looking Ended up having a young 20 something half Spanish half caucasian guy who ushered me in the cubicle when I told him I wanted to lick his arsehole 👅Despite being Spanish ,(he did tell me he was a student here),he had a smooth hairless asshole , Very tight butt cheeks 🍑 and tight hole,I couldn't even stick my tongue in so just licked his hole,he was moaning ,then like 1 minute he put a condom on and mounted my Daddy ass, big young cock , I loved it when he was fucking me he slapped my butt cheeks and kept shouting in his accent .," I love fucking Daddy's,!! After we opened the door of the cubicle there was like 5 old guys standing directly outside jerking off underneath their towels🤣 On Sunday I went to church ⛪ How was your weekend?
    2 points
  9. I was brought up as a Protestant and even played piano for a Bible class most Sundays as a teenager. I didn't want to but there was some parental pressure there from my mother. I have never been a churchgoer since my teens. I find the endless communal singing of hymns with words and music written mostly more than a century ago incredibly boring. On the other hand, I once saw on television a Church service with a pop band. That also turned me right off. Equally, readings from a book part of which is about fables that originated millennia ago and only many centuries later put into writing (and we know what happens when one person repeats what he has heard to another, who then repeats it to another, and so on - it always ends up as a completely different story), and part of which was decided for us by various Councils in the 4th century long after the death of Jesus when again memories would have been fallible. Being gay has never had anything to do with my thoughts on religion. I just happen to believe that religions in general were necessary all that time ago as a glue to keep tribes and later societies together. Again for millennia, life on earth was so grim for so many people, the thought that there was paradise somewhere up in the sky where all was wine and roses but which you could only enter into if you behaved well down here on earth must have been very appealing to vast numbers. (I wonder how many know that the word 'paradise' comes from the Persian meaning garden) When I see on television the extraordinary images from the combination of the Hubble and James Webb telescopes, I marvel that these amazing scenes are of events that happened so long ago my mind simply cannot comprehend them. Here on earth we are a mere tiny speck of a tiny speck given the vastness of what we are told is a still expanding universe (something else I canot understand). Given that, though, how is that our various earthly religions claim to have got it all so right?

With all respect to @reader I think the comment about drugs does a great disservice to taxi drivers in general. Over the last two decades I have probably taken more taxis from first DMK and then BKK to the city centre than any other poster - over 250 trips. As a very regular commuter to my business in Hong Kong, the Emirates flight I have taken dozens of times usually sees me in a taxi around 12:30 am. I have never once had cause to complain about getting back home in around 30 minutes at that time nor about excessive speed. The great thing about arriving around that hour is that there are absolutely no traffic jams. If arriving at 8:00 in the morning, I would not even consider a taxi given the horrendous jam to get into the city. I fully undersand there is likely to be the odd bad apple, but the only problem I have encountered on the airport run is a doctored taxi meter. That was easy to spot because I know how much the trip should cost making allowances for stops at traffic lights etc. On that occasion I took photos with my camera of the driver, the meter and the taxi licence number. The driver then refused to accept any payment!

  13. Not just the haters; think about the preachers- many but not all in the US- who make millions from gullible and often not every well-off communities- in order to buy their own private jets. Of course, some of them also need money for their encounters with rent-boys in seedy motels. Before glorifying homophobia in their sermons.

For the first-time visitor I'd still recommend using a taxi. The train journey requires you to buy tickets, find your way on foot between stations and then from station to hotel, with luggage, in the heat, in a non-English-speaking environment with a weird alphabet, after a long flight, in the wrong time zone... At some point culture shock is likely to strike. The "old hands" posting otherwise good advice here may have forgotten what that was like 🙃.

  17. good food , sometimes handsome waiters but I found it bit pricey. One of those places with poor ambiance but very good food. When there with boys (boys) watch what they order as some seafood dishes are expensive. Good hunting spot at bar closure time as many boys are passing by after end of shift, keep your eyes wide opened when alone there. Once I was dining with guy and he noticed I follow sight of another guy passing by and said condemningly "I know what you are thinking !"

Another couple of good but not fancy Thai restaurants in south Pattaya: ฟ้าพัทยา: Fra Pattaya, on Pattaya Tai between Second Road and Walking St. The speciality is duck but if you ask for any Thai dish they can probably provide it. The menu used to be written on the walls in Thai only, but nowadays they have a huge picture menu. ผักบุ้งลอยฟ้า: Pak Bung Loy Fah on the corner of soi 13/3 and Second Road has a good menu of seafood and other dishes. They don't throw flaming morning glory across the road any more but that's the origin of the name. Both do excellent กุ้งแช่น้ำปลา

  24. Sounds very Thai! Co-habitation of same sex couples is legal and wedding ceremonies may be performed. But marriage itself is illegal and there are no legal protections. A working group is pressing for reform of the 2019 Marriage and Family Law so that gay marriage is incorporated. According to public opinion polls, the Vietnam public remains split on the subject of gay marriage. Also, discrimination against gay men remains widely practised and there is no legislation protecting the LGBT community from discrimination.

I wasn’t in your taxi when you encountered the doctored meter. You weren’t in my taxi as it raced to Silom on slick roads. I’ve never encountered a doctored meter. You’ve never encountered a speeding cabbie. Guess we can booth consider ourselves lucky. I still contend the use of ya-ba to stay awake is not uncommon. Excessively high-speed driving is a common indicator.

  28. Vietnam: "Can same-sex couples get married? No. Up until now, the law in Vietnam does not recognize same-sex marriages." It's a funny one (not haha funny), they lifted the ban on gay marriage but at the same time they don't recognize gay marriage.

  29. No, that's incorrect. Taiwan is the only Asian country permitting same-sex marriage - provided one partner is of Taiwanese nationality.

    How was your weekend?

I am visiting Brazil now. The pandemic really changed the club scene here (for the worse), but thank goodness, the GPs are still plentiful. I did visit GP sauna almost every day, it is a daily routine, so it's nothing to write home about either. I now use condoms when I suck cocks. I order my "gozada shots" there as usual, no sweats. Will go straight to Berlin from here in a week.

Agreed, and I make a point of getting myself lost and randomly exploring any new city I visit. But not before breakfast. Not so... My first experience of BKK culture shock was in a taxi. After traversing what looked like a modern city with multi-lane elevated roads and high-rise buildings, and a litany of strange place names on the signs - Chatuchak, Din Daeng, Rama IX, Ngam Wong Wan, Chaeng Watthana, Sukhumvit, - the taxi turned off the expressway and dived into the bowels of the Khlong Toei intersection, which appeared to have trains mixing with the cars, and suddenly I was in what felt like an impossibly narrow canyon of decomposing concrete with festoons of wires draped everywhere... Of course, that was before the ARL, MRT and BTS existed, and meter taxis were still a rare novelty, so the challenge of negotiating a taxi or tuktuk for every journey was part of that first impression.

Sorry vinapu, I cut your message a bit short; I was referring to temples and palaces. But now you mention it, I always make to take my shoes off before going into a home -- many times the residents will say "don't bother" when they see me start. Go into a block of 'working family residences' and each front door will have loads of shoes outside. Sorry I've digressed from the original message.

  38. From Channel News Asia How one man sheltered 60 children as Thai nursery massacre unfolded close by UTHAI SAWAN, Thailand: Monchai Pipatvilaikul never thought that the manicured stone garden at his house would one day become a playground for 60 schoolchildren, let alone their hiding place from an armed criminal. But when he heard about a cold-blooded massacre at a local nursery nearby on Thursday (Oct 6), everything changed. The armed assailant had fled the scene and was still at large at the time. The situation deeply worried Monchai, who feared the attacker might go on to target a primary school just a few kilometres from the nursery. With the school also in close proximity to the perpetrator’s house, the students in class that day could be in danger. “I rang the director of Ban Non Sawat Nong Paibool School and he told me what I’d heard was true. He also said there were students stuck inside the school. They were in classrooms with their teachers,” Monchai told CNA. “So, I talked to my wife about rescuing them.” Monchai owns a stone mill in the sub-district of Uthai Sawan, Nong Bua Lamphu, where the massacre took place. “It wasn’t clear at that time what was happening, so I thought while the situation was still volatile, the (primary school) students should come to my place as it would definitely be safe for them,” said Monchai. Together with his wife and two employees, he rushed to the school in two four-wheel drives. They chose a route largely unknown even among locals, that leads to the back of the school but with terrain that is rough and difficult to navigate. “There are two routes to the school. One is rough and requires a four-wheel drive. The other one is actually fine too but there were chances that we would run into the perpetrator," Monchai explained. When they arrived at the school, the students were still hiding. One of the teachers told CNA there were about 60 children and ten teachers lying low in four rooms on the premises. All the doors and windows were shut, and the students told to remain quiet to make it seem like nobody was at the school. “We took the children to hide in different rooms because we had heard the perpetrator was coming this way, and we were afraid he would come into the school,” said Teeramet Sewana, a teacher who had been working at Ban Non Sawat Nong Paibool School for only six months. When the 26-year-old heard about the massacre, he was in a cooking class with his students, making snacks. Examinations were already over and the children were just a day away from a school break. “I told the children to stay quiet, closed all the windows and locked the door,” he told CNA. They had been hiding in fear for nearly an hour, when someone knocked at the door. It was Monchai, who recounted that nobody made any noise or opened the door until a school employee informed those hiding inside that they could come out. “I told the kids we were going on a school excursion and that they should hurry,” he said. “'Hurry up, kids! Let’s go!’” The evacuation took place quickly, with teachers and students transported to Monchai’s house in two trips. During this time, terrified parents were calling the teachers to make sure their children were safe. As soon as all the students and teachers were inside his house, Monchai closed the gate and ordered several male employees to guard the place. “The kids were brought to sit in the pavilion. They got to use the restroom, then ran and played in the garden,” said the stone mill owner. “I also played music for them.” The students and teachers stayed at his place for about two hours - until police confirmed that the perpetrator had shot himself to death. If the train is a viable option for you, I’d take it. I arrived around midnight this trip and taxi was default option. The driver was worst speed demon I’ve yet encountered, passing every vehicle in sight during moderate rain. It’s not all that uncommon for graveyard shift workers to use meth to stay awake. There are two options for making connection to Silom using airport train: the one described above and the other involves transferring at Makkasan station to the MRT line at Phetchaburi station. Get off MRT at Silom station.

I asked to be rimmed !

Given that some of the boys will not kiss, I think it is entirely reasonable that some/many will not rim. As @Slvkguy rightly points out, there can be serious, nasty and expensive health risks involved. Flagyl is a not uncommon antibiotic for serious gastric disorders (like diverticulitis) but the need for 3 pills a day for up to 2 weeks results in feeling nauseous and pretty awful during that time and alcohol is an absolute no-no. Effectively that puts them out of any possibility of further offs during that entire time. If someone wants a boy to rim them, it is only fair to the boy to state in advance that rimming is part of the deal. I suspect most will decline. Bringing the issue up only after you off them is totally unreasonable IMHO.

  41. Thanks for the night out again, Emiel. At our pre warmup dinner at Natans in Jomtien, our time together went too fast. We had SO much gossip to catch up on. Note to the other readers - it is really cool to meet up with members because you can get ALL of the juicy details and if the person with whom you are meeting with is willing - you can see the HOT HOT HOT photos of the guys that were encountered. I can ascertain that ALL of Emiel's conquests were definitely hotties, especially those 6 pack abs guys. The waitress at Natans was trying to be very descrete when I was observing the Phuket African HOT naked photo that I almost dropped Emiel's phone when I realized that her neck was stretched as far as possible to see that lovely cock that I was observing. As Emiel mentioned in his report, he saved me from over accomodating the papasan and mamasan requests to celebrate in drinks Emiel's success in offing the cute Boyz Town waiter. Truly, everyone was happy.

  42. Part 24: Second chance on the cute waiter in Pattaya... After 5 nights in Bangkok it was time to move to Pattaya for the last few days of my stay in Thailand. On Tuesday night I fly back to The Netherlands. I booked a car with Mikepattaya. From my hotel in Silom to Jomtien Complex it was 1200 baht. Because I was curious I checked prices in the Bolt app just before the driver picked me up. I was shocked to see Bolt was so much more expensive than the taxi service of Mike Pattaya... Because most of the time Bolt is cheaper. See screenshot: I was meeting @bkkmfj2648 for dinner and to catch up about our adventures and gossip. We than went to Boyztown. As you can read in part 15 of my trip report I had some unfinished business in Boyz Boyz Boyz with a waiter I had the hots for but didn't off last time because I thought with asking 3000 baht they were ripping me off / overpricing. I got a lot of reactions from you guys about this. Understanding the higher rate because he is waiter and not barboy, and also tips about how to deal with this as maybe the fact that a papasan was involved the price was inflated by the papasan. We arrived in Boyztown around 10pm. Had a quick look already in Boyz Boyz Boyz but is was very quiet. Only 2 customers sitting inside already. So we decided to sit down on the terrace of Castro first. Plan was to do a bit of people watching. But there was not much to see... Also on the terraces and in the street only few people this Sunday night. It was 11:30pm when we went in at Boyz Boyz Boyz again. Surprisingly the bar was full of guests. While we didn't see much people entering from our spot on the terrace. The guests somehow seemed to be appeared from nowhere... I was happy to see the cute waiter was on duty. We got seated and drinks were ordered. Cute waiter was busy attending two seperate groups of customers. Drinking a lot of shots from them. When I went to the bathroom, he also came to pee. And that was when he recognized me. This was my chance. So I directly asked him if he wanted to come back to my hotel with me. He checked what I wanted. I asked whats he having in the menu... Kissing oke sucking oke. No fucking. So actually same info as he gave last time. Perfect. He told me he is very shy guy. And he actually only went home with customer one time before. Not only because he is shy, but also because he is afraid of what customers would want to do with him. I comforted him that I was oke with what he just said, so that I would not expect fucking. Back in the bar, he came sit with us. Time to talk business. Reminder: last time, via papasan, they asked 3000 baht for me to take him to my hotel. Now, speaking directly to cute waiter, he lowered his price to 2000 baht without me having even to negotiate. Oke. That's a deal! In the meantime another waiter/papasan plus a mamasan had started talking to @bkkmfj2648. Trying to convince him to also take a boy home. Already being a bit drunk, he felt for buying both the papasan and the mamasan a drink on his costs. Soon we decided to leave as it was going to costs too much money to continue this way.... Hahaha. Arrived in Agate hotel, cute waiter and I sit down on the balcony for some smalltalk and he wanted to smoke / vape. His English was good enough to have a nice conversation. He is from Bangkok (his mother, cat and dog still live there) but came to Pattaya because according to him more work here. His tactics in the bar: just being cute and go for the groups of customers and try to get as many drinks and shots from them as possible, so he can live form the drink incentives and tips he's earning. He is gay but not on Grindr or any other app bevause he is "afraid" of the gays in Pattaya. After work time he likes to hang out with friends at the beach in Jomtien. For even more drinking. Time to take a shower together. Now cute waiter wasn't so shy anymore. We soaped each others bodies. And started kissing. To the bed. More kissing. With tongue. He was pretty good. And also he sucked good, eager and deep. Again: nothing shy about this boy in bed... His shyness had completely disappeared. He even went naked on the balcony of my hotel room to smoke / vape. According to cute waiter it was because when he is with somebody he likes, he is not shy at all. Only when there are many people (and his friends) around, like in the bar. You know how they always say you should never meet your hero as chances are it wil only be disappointing? Well... I had doubts about going back to cute waiter after the failed try to off him last time. What if he's not interested anymore? Or he is disappointing in bed because I have high expectations because I think he is so cute? I'm glad I did go back for him and had the guts to try to off him again. As it turned out I could make a good deal with him and also the time spent with him was very nice, enjoyable and horny.
