  1. Part 23: The Dutch speaking hot Thai boy During the day I was visiting the old part of Chinatown in Bangkok (Talat Noi) just for a walk and look around and have an afternoon snack. I found a very nice cafe, build in an old Chinese mansion: Hong Sieng Kong. They have a big terrace with view over the river and the inside of the place is beautiful. That's what I like about Bangkok. Even if you've been there already a dozen of times, you will always be able to discover something new. Later that day I would do another great discovery; a Thai/Dutch guy that was prefect in bed... Lol But first I have to confess something. The night with Indonesian boy going from bar to bar a day earlier was fun again. Was nice to have some company and talk in between the acts and during the boyparade about which boys are hot. If you go alone you off course still have papasan or mamasan that is willing to talk to you. But you can't say you think a boy is looking good because he/she will directly insist you invite the boy over for a drink. Somehow the other nights in Bangkok I didn't really feel going to the bars anymore. The past weeks I've been visiting the different bars a few times. It's the same show every time. Having to sit out hours of mostly horrible "entertainment" and to be lucky that somebody you like will be in the boyparade later. Off course this can be solved by going to the bars earlier. And find your catch of the night before the shows start. But it was already past 10 o clock when I realised this. For sure I will be back in the bars during a next trip to Bangkok, but probabaly this holiday it was a bit of an overkill for now. Plus I must say that during this trip in Thailand, I've had the nicest experiences and best sex with guys I've found on Grindr. They were better than the boys I took home from a bar. With the beste example being Ukrainian guy I have written about. Since about 3 weeks I was chatting on Grindr with a very hot boy. Seeing his profile pic and bowing my weak spot for 6packs, you will understand why I contacted him: And the profile text of this 26yr old stud made it even more interesting: My first thought was: let me be your daddy... Lol. I am from The Netherlands, so that this guy was mixed Thai / Dutch made it very intriguing. I needed to know more. He moved to The Netherlands when he was 6 and when covid hit the world somehow he ended up in Bangkok. Liked it so much there that he decided to stay. It was so strange to be able to speak my own language, Dutch, with this guy that looked very much Thai to me. But yeah if you looked good you could tell it was a bit of a mixed breed. Besided the 6pack I already mentioned, his main features were a bubble butt and blonde dyed hair. When we entered my hotel room he immediately started kissing me in a passionate way (with tongue). Nice big full lips. He took some coconut oil with him for a massage. And he proved to have excellent massage skills also. The right pressure, taking his time. It was so relaxing I was almost falling asleep. But when he told me to turn around and I was reminded of what a hottie I had in my room, I became active again. Lol Dutch Thai had a submissive side. He loved sucking my dick long, good and deep. Than he asked me if he could ride my dick. Of course I had no objections. In several positions I used his bubble butt as a bouncing castle. I cum in his face and mouth while exactly at the same moment he sprays his cum all over his 6pack. HOT. Another look at his 6pack... So... Yeah... Another amazing discovery via Grindr. He asked a bit more than the average Thai moneyboy, but he was the 3000 baht worth!

  4. It's been some years since I have been to Thailand thanks to the Covid lockdowns, but even before then I found myself guarding my wallet while visiting the bars in Bangkok. The prices of 400 per drink was a bit expensive in my opinion. When people here in the USA ask me about the nightlife in Thailand I don't hide the price for the mandatory drink. Sure, a limited number reduce the price for the 2nd drink but I can only remember once place doing that in Bangkok. I show them the webpages of guys and the bar shenanigans captured by hidden camera and posted on the porn sites. When I am asked about Brazil, I can't help but gush on how attractive the common citizen is there. Even the homeless guys look like they could be representatives for Calvin Klein. The gay bars have cheap drink prices but they charge an entrance fee. The saunas are wild and I have been to some in Sao Paulo and Rio that put what you see on porn sites to shame. Thailand has Walking Street. Rio has Lapa. If I had to choose a street to party on, it would be the Lapa area. Lapa is a Gay/Straight party zone with bars and saunas peppered all around. If you are shopping. Thailand has it all over Rio in my opinion. Sure Rio has markets similar to JJ Market, but Bangkok beats Rio in shopping period. Transportation? Thailand... Bangkok has the Sky Train and Rio has the Subway. Thailand has motorcycle taxi's, Tuktuks, Taxi's and Uber type apps. Brazil has Taxi's, Motor cycle taxis in limited areas and Uber type apps. I have to give the win to Brazil for Transport of tourist if only for the no-haggle cheap taxi rides you get using the apps like 99 and Uber. I hear Thailand has a new app that make hiring any type taxi a cheap and painless process but I have not been there to experience that yet. The guys. Depends on what you like. If you like masculine guys with big dicks and plump asses wearing flipflops, you will love Brazil. If you like lean guys, with slight size bodies, sculped legs and solid asses standing on flipflops, you will love Thailand. Cost of guys? Brazil wins.... (My opinion). Food? Thailand wins! I have never heard anyone say they go to Brazil for the food... Thailand wins. AirB&B Rentals... Thailand wins. I've stayed in places in Thailand for $30 a night that can't be beat! I am not complaining about the AirB&B's in Brazil but they can't hold a candle to Thailand accommodations. As I write this I am packing my bags to return to Brazil. Brazil is a non-stop hump fest of beautiful guy after handsome guy, but Thailand has that certain allure that can't be duplicated in a Latin country. And often when I leave Brazil, I am often spent and ready to relax every part of my body by going home. When I am leaving Thailand, I often don't want to go. It's hard to say goodbye to an easy breakfast morning under the umbrellas on the beach. The waves whispering its lazy arrival to the sands of the beach. The toned guys in speedos hoping for your attention. The cute touts offering trinkets while your eyes buy every curve and bulge of their flesh. It's hard to say goodbye to the freshly made street food, the smiles of guys you have not had a chance to get to, or one of the many bars you never visited but promised you would. The musical singsong of love promises even when they forget your name.. Thailand is hard to say goodbye to for me. Brazil... Lets just say on my last day in Brazil I often throw away my leftover condoms as if I never need to have sex again. Is gay nightlife too expensive in Thailand? Yes. But that is not a good reason to stay away.

  6. Although the bars need to be aware that they're pushing the envelope at 400 baht per drink, the bottom line will always be supply: are customers willing to pay. If they're still coming through the doors it's an easy equation to resolve. Dreamboys should make for a good case study. Management must be persuaded that the potential represented by the return of Chinese and other north Asian tourists warrants the investment in moving next door to the old Lucky Boys venue. (Personally, I don't know why they'd be eager to alter the seating arrangement because I always considered it to be one of the better ones in town. But that's just me). The big unknown factor is the effects of inflation on whether those tourists will actually arrive in BKK. If they don't materialize in numbers anticipated, Dreamboys will be facing huge overhead. And to profitably operate a bar of that proportion, the number of guys required to fill the stage could easily put pressure on supply. Will they draw boys away from other bars? If not, they'll have to rely on an influx from the provinces and their Thai neighbors. Although Dreamboys is not on my short list of favorite stops, I wish them well because it could become the anchor location for gay Patpong. At the moment, Fresh Boys probably has a manageable overhead. Could it be tempted to relocate across the way to the vacated Dreamboys venue? I kind of doubt it unless they, too, are banking on the great influx of new tourists.

By the way, UK visitors should remember that a spike in cases has already happened here due to the start of autumn. And I shall certainly wear a mask on the plane when I fly to BKK next month.

  10. I heard a story about a virtuoso classical pianist named Cherkassky who died in 1995 before the internet was used for airline bookings. For much of his life he lived in London. His hobby was learning much of the massive two-volume ABC Airlines Timetable published every month. He then enjoyed going into a travel agency and telling the lady behind the counter that he'd like to book a flight from London to Sydney. "That will be no problem," would be the regular reply. "Oh, but I think there may be a problem because I want a number of stops and I want the cheapest ticket." He'd then reel off a list of cities and dates he wanted en route. Typical would be Basle, Lodz in Poland, Ankara, Ahmadabad, Chiang Mai (being gay he frequently visited Thailand), Urumqi, Kagoshima and Surabaya. A stupefied lady would then tell him she'd do her best but it might take her 2 days to do all the checking. No problem, he'd say, but it must be the quickest individual flights and the cheapest ticket. 2 days later he'd return and see the same lady. "Well, sir, you really gave me a difficult task but I've finally got information on the ticket you requested." She'd then give him a print out of all the flights, flight changes en route, stop-overs and arrival time in Sydney. At the bottom would be the price. "And you can confirm this has the fastest connections, the earliest arrival in Sydney and the cheapest price?" Yes sir, would be the reply. In his high-pitched voice a smile would come over his face. Looking straight at her, he say, "You're WRONG!" He had worked out a better routing at a slightly cheaper price! And of course he didn't even want to book any ticket. Not a pleasant man!

  20. Bangkok's public transport network has been expanding very quickly. Whether it is of more use to the average tourist could be debated, I suppose. But it's quite extensive now and there are MRT stops in the Chinatown and Grand Palace areas that are useful for tourists. And of course there are the river boats and canal boats to help you get around as well. I haven't been to Rio, so I can't compare them.

  21. I agree with you. As I actually just wrote in my trip report. Didn't even mention the higher cost of getting a boy from a bar instead of Grindr in my report. But you're absolutely right about that. For me reason was also that I was getting tired of the same acts in the shows over and over again... Haha.

Last night I was at a bar near to Jupiter and chatted with a waiter at that bar who is experienced and knows the score. He told me that most (not necessarily all) the boys in Jupiter are looking for females and not males. If the latter wants one of the Jupiter boys the tip being asked is often @ 3000-5000. But for women the tip is at a lower more sensible rate. In my view most working in Jupiter are straight boys who see themselves as alpha males.......

  36. I had to do some last minute rescheduling last week. When I checked hotel rates the Ibis Styles Silom was actually cheaper than most other options. Even Tarntawan was more expensive. D Varee Express was the only oke option that was having lower prices. But I wanted to try out something new. How come none of you corrected me here? Telephone Pub doesn't exist anymore, it's now Circus. And on my picture it was clear to see I was sitting in the other side of the Soi. In Balcony Bar... Stupid mistake of me. I had doubts coming to Thailand in September. But when I booked my flight ticket I could only use the special rate for fully refundable ticket till end of September. That's why I booked it anyway. To be honest till now it was all oke. In the 23 days I'm now in Thailand, only on 3 days (or actually evenings / nights) the rain was interfering with my plans. It is wise to book a hotel on walkable distance from the bars you want to visit if you come in rainy season. As it is true to getting a taxi in rainy weather in Bangkok is impossible...

  37. Part 22: Visiting the bars again... It was not raining at 9:30pm. But just to be sure I decided to take my umbrella. I wouldn't get stuck somewhere again for hours when it would start raining again, like yesterday evening... I first did a quick walk around to see what the atmosphere was tonight. I looked like everybody stayed in yesterday and was desperate to go out now. It was more busy than any other night in Bangkok I was out this trip. Heading into Patpong 2 and one boy from Freshboys recognized me. "you like muscled gay boys, we have tonight!" and he also remembered me falling down the stairs the last time I was there: I told him I was waiting for a friend. On grindr is was chatting with a guy from Indonesia. His first time in Bangkok and was excited to go to the gogo boybars for the first time. But also scared to go alone. So I offered to go together and show him around. When he arrived we went into Freshboys first. Ten good-looking boys on stage in white sportshorts, no shorts. Same like last time I was here, and also the show was almost the same with the same acts. My stalker guy had sent me message on grindr that he now works in banana, so I knew is was "safe" for me to come to freshboys without this guy asking for my attention and an off. The 10 boys on stage where all more hunk than twink. If you really like skinny boys, this was not the place for you that night. For me on the other hand there were at least 4 that could be offed by me. But. The night in young and I still need to show Indonesian boy the other bars. When we came outside, we see that it started raining very hard. Good thing is that you don't need to get wet to go from Freshboys to Hotmale... You just walk through covered. In hotmale I counted 12 guys on stage. More of them than on my last visit were shirtless. Still wearing pants instead of just underwear, but at least some more skinny was visible on stage. As last time almost all boys wear pants and shirt. My off from last time, Mr Cutesmile, was also on stage shirtless. When he reconized me he had that price winning smile again on his face and he kept looking at me. So I invited him over and directly told him I was not going to take him to my hotel room tonight because I was showing my new Indonesian friends around and also I like butterflying. But I bought him a drink and gave him 200 baht extra tip for his time during which we touched and he massaged me a bit. Boydrink in Hotmale is as expensive as your own first drink: 400 baht. I'm not very generous in general with boydrinks. But i always thought a boydrink is often a bit cheaper than your own first drink? There was another boy on stage that I had the hots for. A bit muscled off course my type of guy. But soon he disappeared off stage, came back fully dressed and left the bar. Probabaly got an off via an app or something. It was still raining hard. But only a short run across the street to DreamBoy was oke not to get too wet. When I walked in there was some nasty odour. Like sewage smell. I noticed the same already few weeks ago when I was there. But it seems to be a recurring problem there. Drinks cost 450 baht, just a bit more expensive than the other bars in the Soi. Around 20 boys on stage in jeans and shirtless. Most of them a bit on the rough side with their appearance. Also this was how I remember it from last time, and I reported about that also. Tonight in DreamBoy was the first time during this holiday that the music was really too loud in a bar in my opinion. In Freshboys we already did see some sucking in the shower during their show. In Hotmale we were in time for the big cock show. But the Indonesian guy was really chocked bt the acrobatic fucking in the DreamBoy show. Haha. Poor kid. First time in gogo boy bar... Somehow I always find the unreachable guys the most attractive. It's always the top/men that I want. Because I am top myself. Or in this case in DreamBoy: the unavailable sexy DJ/light operator. Partly dyed blonde hair, wearing a cap. Shirtless. Hot body. But never goes home with (male) customer. I know some of you will say: they all have their price... But didn't try any further after this info from papasan. I can only hope that when DreamBoy moves to the new location, the seating will be better. This giant pole in the middle is blocking view on part of the stage from almost everywhere you sit. Can't really remember how the seating was in the old Luckyboys location where DreamBoy is moving to soon. Before we knew it, show was over and it was just 20 minutes before 1am. Closing time of the bars in Patpong 2 still 1am.Thay sign announcing late show in Freshboys is indeed old sign. The papasan became very pushy in DreamBoy asking me which guy can take care of me tonight. I hate it when they become so pushy. Doesn't work for me. So instead of taking a guy from the bar I decided to see if a nice bottom I was chatting with earlier, was still available and online on grindr. He actually was. After waiting around 15 minutes for the rain to calm down a bit, it was time to get the umbrella out and walk back to hotel. Where only 5 minutes later my bottom for the night also arrived. So in the end, a very nice night. Even in spite of the rain.

I wish we would just let people be people and their job is their job instead of what they do outside of their job. It makes no difference to me if someone does after work hours. Totally their business and nothing else. That said, I'd love to see more pics of Anderson Cooper. Big crush for years. Nice to see you KYTop!

  39. Part 21: Stuck in rainy Bangkok... Yesterday evening just after I left my hotel to go for dinner, it started to rain. Decided to quickly find a dry place to shelter. So I went to Telephone Pub in Soi 4. Here I could have something to eat, drink, watch what happens in the soi and wait for the rain to hopefully stop falling soon. Stuck in Telephone Bar because of the rain But that didn't happen. It rained hard. And for a long time. The streets started to flood. Food thing the terraces of the bars are a bit higher than the street itself. So I ended up being stuck in Telephone bar for a good two hours until it started to rain less and it was oke to try to run in between the raindrops to another place. By that time the rain had killed my mood. So also that night no naughty bar visits for me... Another drink on the terrace and than an early night for me this time. During daytime I like to be out and about, walking around Bangkok with some music or podcast on my headphones. Today I decided to check out the “Green Mile Bangkok”. This elevated walking path connects two of Bangkok’s big parks, Lumpini Park and Benjakitti Park. The latter one recently had a new expansion: the Benjakitti Forest Park. It’s a beautifully designed urban wetland, with skywalks and paths running through and over a manmade nature reserve. It really looks nice. Benjakitti Forest Park The Green Mile itself is a fun place to stroll along and look down to watch daily life pass by. It gives you another look at Bangkok. Not the concrete urban jungle of skyscrapers, but old houses here for decades and more recent shacks in varying states of disrepair, backdropped by the spires of modern Bangkok. The Green Mile While I'm writing this, I am chilling at the rooftop hotel pool. And whatever happens tonight, rain or no rain, I will have to visit the gogo bars! I only have two night left in Bangkok and can't leave without my fair share of naughty bar visits... Lol

  40. From Khaosod / Thaiger A man who lost his job in the southern province of Songkhla decided to walk all the way back home to Buriram in northeast Thailand. After 12 days of walking, the 42 year old man stumbled across an army barracks in Phatthalung province, the next province along, on Sunday. The soldiers took care of him and paid for his train ticket back to Isaan. Buriram-born Choi moved to Songkhla about seven months ago to work at a rubber plantation in Na Thawi district. He planned on making money to send home to his family back home in Isaan. At first, he made around 300 baht per day cutting down rubber trees. As the months passed by, Choi said that work became scarce and he was hardly making any money at all. He wasn’t sending money back home as planned and he missed his 11 year old daughter and grandma, so he decided to return home on September 5. However, Choi had no money or phone, so he was forced to undertake the journey – which would take at least 18 hours to drive – on foot. Choi walked 300 kilometres in 12 days, sleeping at temples along the way, where Buddhist monks gave him food and water. In the almost two weeks he spent walking, he only crossed one provincial border. On Sunday, he stumbled across an army barracks in Phatthalung province and stopped to ask for some water. At first, the soldiers thought he was a criminal of some sort and brought him in for questioning. The army told Choi that they would pay for his plane ticket to fly back home to Buriram. However, Choi said he wasn’t sure how to take a plane. Instead, the army gave him 1000 baht cash and dropped him off at the train station. Choi took a 13 hour train all the way from Phatthalung to Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok. From there, he took an eight hour train from Bangkok to Buriram. Upon arrival in Buriram, Choi’s 81 year old grandma La tied string around his Choi’s wrist as a gesture of gratitude. La said she felt pity that her grandson had walked 300 kilometres across southern Thailand. La thanked the army for helping Choi and wondered how long it would have taken him to get home if he walked the whole journey. The distance between Songkhla and Buriram is 1,350 kilometres.

  42. Well, it depends how stupid the said employees are. In the US there are a number of jobs that require licenses that are issued by professional boards (Medical, Nursing, Bar, etc.) at the State level. These boards randomly monitor social media profiles of their members and if they see anything suspicious, they will either mark them for personal interview at the time of the license renewal or, depending on the severity, they may suspend their license pending i.e. ethics investigation, or completion of mandatory class, or even rehabilitation. So, if you are performing a surgery in the morning, don’t post your drunk pictures on social media, or better yet, don’t post anything related to Marijuana consumption (edibles, smoking, vaping), albeit legal in that State. Failure of a random drug test will result in employment termination and license suspension, even if you indulged in these substances on your days off.

  43. Right. It is now. But as the dinosaurs die off and the current generation takes charge will they care about this sort of thing? It seems fair enough for employers to monitor their employees on company time. But not on their own time.

  44. Very lucky man! I would love a find like him....! Off topic, but love to relive/share the memory: In Dubai, I met on Grindr a University student from Seychelles ... a basketball player, 6ft 3in tall lean, ripped, 9 inches of slightly curved cut cock. The bottom vein really bulged when hard, too thick to comfortably throat. I thought I would pay, but he wasn't money boy. Said he liked older men (white) because they could really take a good fuck. He fucked me like no one I ever was with. Mostly face down hammering into me at different angles, fuck for 10-15 minute, 5 minute break then back on top of me again. He did this 3 times, on the third he dumped his load in me, pulling out for the last shot or 2 to prove to me he had bred me then back in. I was a sore but happy bottom on three different days before I headed back to abu Dhabi.... (I was on prep and UAE tests workers coming into the country). I miss him. Never had any really memorable blacks in USA (money boys) they always came quick, got off and asked for their money.... I need to find a good top (or bottom) Need to go back to Colombia (great cocks) or Thailand (best bottoms) so bad!

  45. Part 19: Back to Bangkok As I wrote earlier I had a few days break from bars and boys. It is 10 years ago that I visited Ayutthaya so I figured it would be nice to get there again. Found a really nice guesthouse, stayed there two night while during the day I was rediscovering some beautiful temples. The guesthouse is Baan Tye Wang. Anybody visiting Ayutthaya I strongly recommend this place. Modern nice rooms looking out on garden and river. The rooms have outdoor shower. The guesthouse is run by a very friendly lady who speaks enough English to arrange things and give some information. Breakfast was simple, as to expect in place like this. Evening before you choose what breakfast you want and they make sure to make it for you. Standard fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, milk with cereal, toasted break with jam on top or your chosen breakfast. I choose for fresh fruits and a croissant. The guesthouse doesn't offer dinner, but the lady gave me good advice and arranged tuktuk and I had a lovely dinner. The same friendly tuktuk driver (its the fixed driver for this guesthouse, a couple - man and lady - who drive the tuktuk together) was driving me around Ayutthaya to see all the temples the next day also. Arranging an official taxi from Ayuttaha to Silom would have costs 1200 baht, but even in Ayutthaya the Bolt app is working very well... So eventually I only paid 800 baht for the drive to Bangkok. Earlier in my trip report hotel choices is Silom were discussed. There's a new hotel just opened recently: Ibis Styles Silom. And I decided to check in out for the next few days. Conveniently located on Silom Road, few minutes walk from Sala Daeng Skytrain station. Next to CP tower actually. So very good located to the main gay areas: soi4 is just on the opposite side of the road, and so are the entries to Patpong2 and the soi where Tawan is located. I asked to allocate me a room on the outside of the hotel as I had read online that rooms on the patio side of the hotel can have some noise pollution from the hotel patio and restaurant. The modern rooms are nice and colourful. And with the hotel still being brand new, everything is very clean and almost untouched and unused. Onl ylittle downside: like almost all modern hotels you need a keycard to access the elevator. So you will need to meet your (Grindr) boy outside or in the lobby to bring him up. I always like then option to just let hen come directly to your hotel room. I expect no problems bringing boys back to my room actually. As this hotel hosts a monthly rooftop gay pool party every first Saturday of the month. So it must be a very gay friendly and welcoming place. Anyhow, I'm sure this was a good hotel choice for me for the coming nights on Bangkok... Let's see what adventures will happen this time.

  46. I think I have problably told my story too many times before - so apologies in advance to those who know it. I gave up my job and rented apartment in the UK in my 20s. I had always been adventurous, loved travelling and visited several Europen countries. Then I went to the USA and decided I wanted to work in New York, a city which amazed and captivated me. I returned for a vacation two months later trying to find work. But there seemed none available. Almost immediately on my return a friend asked if I would like to work in Hong Kong. My initial reaction was 'No'. I wanted to go west not east. I knew virtually nothing about Asia apart from a little about the war in Vietnam and the Cultural Revolution in China. But it would be a part of the world I could explore. Even if I disliked the job, it would give me a chance to see quite a bit of Asia that I might never again have a chance of seeing. This was after all a time before mass travel to Asia apart from occasional stopovers on the kangaroo route to Australia. So I did the interview and was offered the job. I dithered for 24 hours as it was a really major move into the unknown. Then I signed the contract. 6 weeks later I was in one of the most stunning and fascinating cities in the world (at that time). Once settled into the job and my lovely apartment (being on expatriate terms thankfully I had an accommodation allowance), I was hooked. I stayed there for far longer than the initial 2 years of my contract - 20 in fact. I explored most of Asia including Bhutan in the year when it had total tourist numbers of just 17,300 (in 2019 it was 319,000). I had also spent 2 years working in Tokyo, a city I found as fascinating as Hong Kong and where I would love to have lived - had there been a job and enough salary to afford it! On all my travels I indulged in a gay lifestyle I could never have dreamed of when I had started working in the UK. In the mid-1990s I had to decide: do I remain in Asia for the rest of my life or should I consider returning to the west? It did not take me long to decide Asia was my home. With a view to eventual retirement, I purchased a small condo in a very quiet residential part of Bangkok. I had visited Bangkok so many dozens of times and enjoyed so much of what it offered, particularly gay life, even though I was aware that later in life I hoped to be settled down with a partner rather than being a typical expat butterfly. So it has worked out. Only once have I considered returning to the UK. I had had an excellent medical insurance policy for decades. By the time I reached 55 I was shocked at the premium increase. Looking at the estimates of forward premiums I realised I had to change to one that would be more suited to Thailand than worldwide. Before the next major premium hike at age 60, I consulted a poster on another Board who the Board owner had consistently recommended as being the best for medical insurance advice. After exchanges of emails and meeting him twice, I went with one of his recommendations. For a few years all went well. Then in the space of just two renewals, I was faced with 103% premium increase. I was furious with this "expert" but also at myself. Had I checked on the insurance company, I would have noticed a lot of correspondence on the internet about its hooking in older people with lower premiums which then get jacked up massively after 65 by which time finding any insurance can be extremely problematic. So I returned to the UK one November/December to spend several weeks staying with many old friends and trying to find somewhere relatively inexpensive where I would be happy living even at the worst weather time. At least I would have the benefit of the National Health Service. I found some beautiful parts in the north west of Scotland and in south east England. But I knew my heart and my mind were by then rooted in Asia. So I felt I had to find a way of making Bangkok work for the future. Thankfully I did. Now, apart from Taipei and Tokyo where I have a network of friends, I could never consider living anywhere else.

  47. Hey Rob its been at least 14 -15 yrs I think. Hope you are well. In spite of 2 heart attacks w a triple by-pass, 4 colon surgeries and just plain getting old I am doing quite well. Thanks for asking. I said I would stop hiring escorts when I turned 50 and actually stopped when I was 51 (15 years ago). My last escort was Michael Vincenzo, geez he was great. I had to retire early and unexpectedly, during the 2009 recession, so I also stopped the traveling but I became a full time Grandpa and grandkid driver. Nothing like grandkids.

  48. I am pretty sure they were, (or more specifically, the mamasan was). Just because I said that the tip SHOULD be money going exclusively to the boy does not mean that he would not be extorted of part it by the mamasan the next day. I think the waiter would have been happy with 2,000, in line with the other gogo boys of the bar unless he has a very high opinion of himself as some kind of Adonis, in which case, he won't be value for money with an attitude like that. Bear in mind that however appealing he may look to you, his performance in-room remains a complete unknown. It's an independent variable. You have no way to assume that he is worth 3,000. If I were in your place and am smitten by the waiter, I would try to find a way on my next visit to the bar to slip him my LINE contact and ask him to message me. Rather than off him from the bar where the vulture (oops, I mean the mamasan) would be watching, I'd try to arrange an afternoon tryst via LINE. I would go no further than 2,000. After all, he already knows that 3,000 is unacceptable to you from the incident the other night. He would have no expectation of 3,000 by now.

    What do you think?

Not to be a negative Nancy, look at ways of keeping yourself safe, legally. I think it was Jorge's Gang, don't remember exactly, that had problems some years ago in South America. Someone that has several porn websites explained to me a long time ago how you have to distance yourself, the person, from being involved in the hosting or making the content. Having several shell type companies, one that hosts, the other that sells/displays and the other a content maker....something along those lines to stay clear of trouble. Nothing might happen, but don't let a little fun fuckery get you into hot water with some religious zealots and banned from the DR.
