Part 1: Traveling to and arriving in Bangkok It was last February I decided to start planning and booking my trip. Qatar Airways was having great deals with free cancellation option. I didn’t want to go to Thailand using any Sandbox- or Quarantine-scheme. Too much of a hassle for me. I thought let’s book the flights for October as I was thinking by than life will be almost “back to normal” again. And when for some reason that would not be the case, I could cancel my flights and get a 100% refund. It was before fuel prices went up and Russia invaded Ukraine. So I was lucky to be able to book business class seats from Amsterdam to Bangkok for only 750 euro per way, so in total it was around 1500 euro. In my opinion, Qatar has one of the best Business Class products in the world. Q-suites. Maybe even the best. Both my Amsterdam-Doha and the Doha-Bangkok flight were planned to be flown with planes that are equipped with Q-suites. So much space and privacy! In my opinion this is almost first class, with your own little cabin that can be closed for ith a sliding door. Love it. And it’s so nice to be able to have a good sleep in flight and arrive in Bangkok relaxed and not too tired. Q-suites cabine of Qatar Airways It was just after I checked in for my flights that I received an email fro Qatar Airways. The aircraft type of the flight Doha-Bangkok would because of "operational reasons" be changed and not have Q-suites on board. Actually, when you Google search, you will find out many complains about this and it seems Qatar Airways is doing this regularly. I was very disappointed that on my 2nd flight I would be in their old Business Class product in a 2-2-2 configuration. Less space, less confort, less privacy. It was a night flight. So they dimmed the cabin nights and actually the entire business class cabin went to sleep. So I was able to get some decent rest during the flight in the end. And the food was still very good, as it was on my first flight that did have the Q-suite expierence. Old Qatar Airways business class cabin, as I was having on my Doha-Bangkok flight My flight touched down in Bangkok just after 1pm. The long walk to immigration followed. I could use the fast-lane and there was only 1 other traveller waiting before me. But also the normal waiting line at immigration for economy class passengers was not long at all. What a difference with pre-covid. I remember extreme long queues there. Within 1hr after arriving, I finished immigration, got my luggage, taken some bahts from the atm, bought and activated a Thai simcard and was on my way to Silom in a taxi. The driver asked me 600 baht including tollway, not using the meter. Thats seemed a fair price for me. As Bolt was charging 500 baht without toll fee. I decided not only to spoil myself with the flight, but also to stay in Le Meridien hotel for the first 3 nights in Bangkok. Let’s say this was my way of celebrating my return to Bangkok… Same as for my flights, I was able to get a very good deal and ended up paying only 75 euro per night. My room in Le Méridien Smooth check-in, beautiful room with bath and seperate shower and view over the city on the 17th floor. You need a keycard to activate the elevator. So can't invite any boys into the room without getting them from the street / reception yourself. That's a small minus for me. As I like to be able to say to a boy I like on Grindr just to come up to my room. View from my room in Le Méridien I was in my room around 3pm and not much later Bangkok greeted me with thunder and rain. Decided to take a little nap. Woke up at 6pm. Took a nice bath while writing this report and to fresh up and get ready to hit the streets for dinner and some quick first bar exploring on my first night in Bangkok...11 points

Part 0: Ready for take off While I'm writing this, I am at the airport waiting for my flight to Bangkok via Doha. Ready for almost 1 month in Thailand. Bangkok, Chiang Rai & Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket… I have a busy schedule ahead. Planning to make an interesting trip-report for you guys. Off course with up-to-date information about all “boy fun” on offer at the moment. But also some non-sexual (boring…? haha) stuff. Any requests on what to check out while I’m around, let me know. The first time I came to Bangkok was in February 2013. As starting point for a two-month round tour in South-East Asia. It was my first time travelling solo. A big adventure. I instantly felt in love with SE-Asia. Not only because of the easy-to-get guys, but also because of the culture, nature and food. As a result, I would come back every year. As I worked in tourism, I had 3 months off every year in European low-season; the best months to travel in SE-Asia. I even managed to work in Phuket / Khao Lak a few months for the company a few years later. A dream come true. My last holiday in Thailand was in January / February 2020, just before covid19 hit. And now, after more than two years I am finally coming back! In my favourite city: Bangkok. It’s busy, smelly, humid and noisy. But somehow I like how vibrant it is. I’ve always been more a city-person than a beach-person. I was thinking about all the good memories I have in Bangkok. The many nights I’ve spent in Soi Twilight. You couldn’t enter that alley for 5 meters without being groped, touched and seduced by bar staff, moneyboys and touts trying to lurk you into their club for a “big cock show”. All fighting for your attention and money. Entrance of Soi Twilight in the old days I usually started the night with a drink on the terrace of Maxis bar. While sipping my rum&coke I could watch all the craziness going on in Soi Twilight. From there you had a good view on the massage boys of Bangkok Massage waiting for customers. Laughing girls passing by. Straight couples with the guy holding hands with his girlfriend and having a scared look in his eyes. Solo male tourists getting in ando ut of XBoys, Fresh Boys or Dream Boys. With or without their “catch of the day”. The first show I watched was at Dream Boys. How shocked I was seeing the act with the ladyboy with the very small penis and the acrobatic fuck show. And you could just choose from the guys on stage by telling the staff which number you like? A bit like Chinese take-away restaurant: choose what looks tasty from the menu, tell them what number you want and take home to enjoy… A whole new world to me; buto one I found very interesting and exciting. I also remember another club at the end of Soi Twilight that had a big water tank, where boys would swim in to do some kind of underwater erotic show. Was it Classic Boys? Watch this YouTube video to see how it was in Soi Twilight the good old days. Anyhow; I was used to all of it pretty soon. The shows in the different bars didn’t shock me anymore. After you’ve seen a few, you come to the conclusion they are all “same, same”. The only thing that kept me intrigued for some time, was the act where they slam their hard cocks with a loud bang into a metal pole. That must hurt! But somebody told me they really don’t slam their cock that hard into the pole. The noise is made because the slam something else (feet/leg?) into the pole at the same moment, so it looks the cock is making a harder impact than it actually does. But I never managed to actually see prove of this theory myself. Soi Twilight closed down (2020) Why am I writing this? Because as we all know Soi Twilight is gone. The last time I was in Bangkok, I had to settle with Patpong 2 instead. It’s good that some of the bars and clubs from Twilight found a new home in Patpong 2. But in 2020 I felt Patpong 2 was by far not having that special vibe that Twilight had. And for sure, covid19 will not have done anything good to change it become better. But let’s look at the bright side: Bangkok still has a lot to offer when it comes to boybars, erotic shows and sexy guys. And I’m about to go on a big adventure in the LOS again.10 points

The Bangkok Post reports that an 8% increase will take effect Saturday. The first flag drop will remain at 35 baht but the distance between additional drops will be reduced. The last increase was in 2014. It's still a bargain.6 points

Part 2: First night in the bars... After a quick bite in Central Silom Complex I went for a walk. Clearly it was still too early to hit the bars. Soi4 was empty, apart from some people having dinner. Patpong same story. Empty. I did a quick check on what bars opened up after covid in Patpong2. I can confirm these are all still closed. And no signs suggest it will open soon. Maybe that will have changed end of this month, when I'm back in bangkok also again for a few night. Will see. I walked around to Patpong1. Where the night market used to be. So strange to see this street so empty and dark now. But everywhere it was quiet; also on Silom Road and Surawong Road. This area used to be so lively and buzzing before covid19. When I returned to Patpong 2 around 10pm, it looked like still not much going on. Apart from the patio of Dreamboy: a lot of shirtless boys were hanging around there. All way too busy on their phones to notice me walking by. On the other side of the soi, a tout tried to talk me into Freshboys. And as I set myself a goal on checking as much of the gogo bars as possible, I went in. The bar was packed. When I entered there were around 25 customers. At the beginning of the show (that started around 10:15pm) more guests came in. Till around 35 guests where seated around the stage. I counted only 5 girls, the rest was a good and balance mix of younger Asians and older farangs... The mamasan was fun, lively and not pushy at all. Same for the waiting staff. I've read other trip reports about airco freezing your tits off. That was not the case here tonight. Nice temperature. And also the music was not too loud to my opinion. Could still talk to mamasan en waiters. The wodka-coke costed me 400 baht. Many boys on stage. Must have been around 25 available guys. In all shapes, forms and sizes. Most guys had no or just only small tattoos. Only few boys had massive artwork on their bodies. In general I found the guys on the hunky (slightly muscular) side rather than the twinkly (very slim) side. But as I said, there were boys for every taste available... All wearing white (wide) sport shorts. So no tight underwear. There was one boy with a very intriguing tattoo of antlers on his lower abdomen. They disappeared under his shorts. Was curious to see till where this tattoo went. I was told this boy is gay and "can do everything". So it might be interesting to go back for him another night. The kind of antlers tattoo I'm talking about. But on this internet picture on another part of the male body... The show itself was fun to watch. Kudos for the ladyboy/draq queen. She came back on stage 3 times during the show. In some glamorous outfits. She picked a few good songs, the lipsync was spot on. The special effect at one of the show where spectaculair. She was wearing gloves that actually where on fire. The only little down aide was that she had no background dancers as eye candy. When I left Freshboys she was outside on the balcony so I complemented her with her performances and have 100baht tip. She told me tomorrow she is celebrating her birthday in Freshboys and invited me to come again. Will see what tomorrow brings. After 5 acts, the show paused for around 10 minutes for a boy parade. After that the show continued with more acts. Gogo dancers, candle wax being poured over an oiled up body, a solo act with a good looking guy groping himself and jerking off (without cumming in the end), two guys playing with soap in the shower (including some deep sucking)... It was all there. The big cock parade including the cock-slapping-against-the-pole... And begging for tips at the customers. So fun to see that when a customers gives one of the boys a tip, all other boys quickly gather around the poor customer all asking to also get money... Like bees on honey I would say... Its less fun watching it now I know this. Instead of staring at their cocks I was only looking at their knees. And indeed that's how the sound of impact is made... Of course it ended with a fuck show. With the boys still being connected to each other making a round through the public. There were going to be more acts afyer another break but it was time for me to move to Dreamboy. Another wodka-coke, but this one cost me 450 baht. The midnight show was about to start but I was on time to still have a good look at the boys on offer parading on stage before the show. I can confirm what has been written in earlier trip reports by others (see quote below): the boys here are in general a bit older, have a "rougher" look and quite a few look like they put one a few extra pounds during the covid lockdown. Dreamboy does have a lot of boys on stage (this evening when I was there around 25 and I was told there had been some offs already as I came in just before midnight), but just a few could meet "my standards". But than again, maybe all the in-shape hotties already went to a hotel room with a customer as I arrived a bit late. I counted around 12 guests, with just 2 girls there to watch the show. The show was disappointing. The boys doing the acts where in my opinion not the most pretty ones. Same for their ladyboys/draq queens. When one of them came off the stage to come close to me doing her lipsyncing, I could see her pockmarked face that even a thick layer of make up could not hide. Sorry to say this so directly. But it has to be an honest report with my opinion... Also the songchoice did not help. Where the briljant ladyboy/draqqueen at Freshboys used some showstopping up tempo medleys, in Dreamboy they choose slow diva songs. Before I knew it, it was time for the famous acrobatic fuckshow. I was close to 1am and Dreamboy was about to close. Decided not to off anybody. As I said I was disappointed by the boys on offer tonight. Must say Dreamboy did better for me before covid19. While Freshboys tonight was really good. But off course it's all about what you're looking for and what your individual taste of boys is... Because by now everything was closed already, I couldn't go to another place for a last-minute off. So... I think I have to make up for this tomorrow... But that's for a next report. Hope this was detailed enough for a good report? 😜6 points

I was saddened to hear about your fears of memory loss. I'm in my late 70's and every time I can't grasp the word I'm looking for, that thought crosses my mind. Usually I recall it later but it still troubles me. Your writing certainly doesn't reflect any signs of it. You express yourself clearly and without repetition. The forums has become more of a sounding board for members to acknowledge fears, many associated with aging. I think that's one of the true benefits of a site like this that we can unburden ourselves of some of our fears and also describe what gives us joy. I wish you well and thank you for trusting others of us with your concerns about the disease.5 points

First Taxi Fare Hike Since 2014
splinter1949 and 2 others reacted to PeterRS for a topic
With all respect, taxis certainly do not crowd the streets of BKK. Trucks are banned in the city until about 9:00 pm. So in the daytime most of the traffic consists of private cars. The number of private cars I see with just the driver - or a passenger plus the family driver - inside is vastly greater than all other vehicles. The problem with Bangkok's streets is largely twofoold. When the city started expanding, it filled in most of the city's klongs. Most klongs were quite wide, but those that were left were considerably narrowed to allow for more construction either side. With no new laws to make roads wider, many sois became traffic bottlenecks. Worse, many were dead ends, leaving traffic nowhere to go. An astonishing 37% of the city's roads are virtual dead ends! Bangkok also has a dreadful road to area ratio of just 8%. Often gridlocked Tokyo fares far better with 23%. New York has 32%. The city also has far too many areas without relatively easy access to major roads. This has also resulted in a lack of public transportation in those areas. Getting in and out of those areas needs a vehicle. Regulations governing shopping malls and office buildings are also different in Thailand compared to the rest of the region. Commercial buildings are permitted to accommodate many more cars than is the case in major capital cities around the region. Also, if you live and work in Tokyo, for example, you are only allowed to own a car if your car has private access to two car park spaces, one at home and one at work! As a result, Bangkok now has 4.3 million private cars. This is aided by parking spaces around the city which are very cheap. In the centre of Bangkok it is little more than 40 baht for the first two hours. In Hong Kong, it is roughly ten times more expensive. At Robinsons Shoping Mall in Singapore, you'll pay 157 baht for every 30 minutes and a higher rate between 6:00 pm and midnight. Most cities also have vastly more parking meters than Bangkok. Bangok's traffic woes are primarily a lack of streets, far too many private cars for the existing streets, a lack of parking spaces and those that are avaiable are vastly too cheap. Until travelling by private car is made a lot more expensive and the city authority constructs many more roads, traffic gridlock will continue in BKK. https://www.bangkokpost.com/opinion/opinion/1762349/understanding-bangkoks-traffic-woes3 points -
You're right. There was a time, maybe 15-20 years ago, I posted extensively to CFS. It was one of the best cruising websites, contributed to by some awesome people. Getting ready for my 2nd trip to Jomtien 2022
GWMinUS and one other reacted to WelshGuyUK for a topic
Hi all I was in BKK for a few days last week in April and 3 weeks in May and always meant to write a report but never did do. I then moved to Jomtien for the majority of the holiday with a break with a German friend and two Cambodian acquaintances. It was nice treating the Cambodian boys to their first ever time flying and had a lovely 5 day excursion with two lovely boys. As it was low season, accomodation was fairly cheap and I spent most of my stay at the Agate, which I loved at 1000 baht per night. It really is a gorgeous hotel with everything I need. So surprisingly quiet with amazing ambiance around the pool area. There was no breakfast or Sauna due to Covid but that made price cheaper. I am due to fly back to LOS on 13 October, only for 3 weeks this time, and looking forward to it yet again. My straight friend is coming also on 29 October and wants to join me in Jomtien to " dabble with boys and Ladyboy" so that will be interesting 😜 I'll write a report next time I promise 🤣2 points -

I will most certainly have a good look to see this trick the next time I see boys doing the slamming-cock-into-pole act again on stage... You're giving me a lot of work... Haha. Will see how many details I can remember after a few drinks so I can report about it later. 😉 Obviously it's not only the drink you're paying for... You're paying for the "expierence"... Haha. In Europe or US you're not getting a hot sexy boy show with your cheaper drink... 🍺2 points -
I was in BKK for a few days this week. Visited Fresh Boys, Dream Boys, Hotmale and Tawan. All charging 400 baht per drink except Dreamboys who charged an extortionate 450 b. Compare this with Pattaya where Toyboys still charge 240 Bt. It was midweek and most bars were not too busy except Tawan which was almost full while the show was on.2 points

Probably because they are so cheap more people are using them so they have volume, crowding BKK streets in meantime2 points

Trip report: Thailand September 2022

I think these are interesting times seeing how slowly or rapidly Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket recover from Covid-19. In my July visit, I noticed some instability in pricing. I saw a few instances of price reductions in bars' desperate attempts to get customers. I have a feeling that prices in September will be different from what I saw in July. If you could report on bars' prices each time you walk into a bar, it will help me assess their business recovery. Personally, I am a collector of details, but it would be presumptuous of me to expect the same of anybody else, but if you're happy to help out, we can compare notes regarding: - price of drink (there may be different prices for second drink and boy-drink) - off-fee. Most of us do make a mental note of how many boys available, but it would also be interesting to note - how many customers in the bar (need to make a note of time too) - ratio of Asians to farang; - ratio of female customers to male (a rough measure of how gay/straight the audience is) And if you could take a close look at the doors of Lucky Boys, Screw Boys and Bangkok Massage (all on Patpong 2) for any signs of re-opening, e.g. interior clean-up or remodelling. And yes, the bar with the big tank at the end of Soi Twilight was Classic Boys.2 points -

Alzheimer's Disease
Ruthrieston and one other reacted to PeterRS for a topic
I have several friends who suffered from Alzheimers, two sadly no longer with us. The early stage seems very similar in each case. We'd meet quite regularly but once the disease begins I'd notice they'd ask me several times during a lunch or coffee - "and what are you doing now?" I think we all know that it is short term memory that is the first part of the brain to be affected. I remember seeing a very touching movie about the writer Iris Murdoch beautifully performed by Dame Judi Dench with Jim Broadbent as her loving husband. In the movie, Iris mentions that she first became aware that something was wrong when she could not remember a specific word when she was writing. This sometimes concerns me as I will perhaps be watching television and want something from the fridge. When I get there, I wonder "what was it I wanted to get?" Thankfully it only takes a second or two before I remember. Friends tell me this is not uncommon as one gets older. But if it gets worse over a period of time, I will get checked.2 points -
What you read is the way it was in Pattaya pre-Covid. Not anymore. Boyztown has go-go bars, but they are comparatively expensive and don't appeal to everybody. Sunee Plaza is down to just a couple go-go bars. They too don't appeal to everybody, but are much less expensive. Walking through Sunee Plaza these days is like walking through a darkened dead zone. Loads of bars - most of them closed The women in go-go bars were almost all Chinese. Now there are none. Also, not everybody needs or is all that interested in go-go bars in the first place. I think Jomtien Complex is so much more popular now because there are many more boys working there than Boyztown and Sunee Plaza. Also Jomtien Complex is alive with activity, beer bars, restaurants, close proximity to shops, close proximity to the beach. It simply is much more fun there. While it is true no go-go bars are permitted there (and in all my years here I have never seen a regulation that actually prohibits them), I know of no regulation that says the boys can't take off their shirts if they want to and occasionally some do. People have to accept that much of the Pattaya gay scene paradigm has changed. How much of it and how soon it might change back is another question and remains to be seen. Don't expect much to change any time soon. Anybody besides me remember that crazy nut case, Bad Boy Billy? He swore he was going to buy up all the vacant bars and turn them into go-go sleaze bars. He's another one who disappeared from the scene and the boards. A few years ago he tried to get back on my board, but mean old Gaybutton wouldn't let him. Sometimes I wonder if I made a mistake by that. Oh well - I hope my curmudgeonliness didn't cost Pattaya a bunch of gay sleaze go-go bars that might have put Eros to shame. I also believe that if enough pressure is applied and enough money finds its way into the right hands, the day will come when Jomtien Complex finally does permit go-go bars. The best way for you to research is to check out all three areas for yourself and decide which works best for you.1 point

From VN Express “One’s true gender is unchangeable. If we, parents of LGBTQ+ people, want happiness for both us and them, we need to change our mindset.” Meet Nguyen Lang Mong, a woman living in HCMC, whose advice this is to people who face a psychological battle in accepting their LGBTQ+ children. She is the leader of PFLAG Vietnam (Parents, Families and Friends of LGBTQ+), founded in 2011. Every week, Mong, whose son is gay, receives phone calls and messages for help from three or four people with LGBTQ+ children. At first their typical reaction is to try and make their children "normal." But by sharing her story and knowledge, she shows them there is nothing wrong with their offspring and that having an LGBTQ+ child is not a shame. She says: "Many parents don't understand this community and they have deep-rooted prejudices against LGBTQ+. When they know more about their children, they will give up their prejudices and accept them the way they are more easily. It is the most important thing for our kids." Mong’s advice for the parents is drawn from her own struggle in accepting her gay son 11 years ago. At first she did not believe her son, now 29, was not straight and scolded him for imitating his gay friends. The relationship between mother and son deteriorated and tension escalated for a year. Then one day she found out her son had tried to commit suicide, which came as a wake-up call to her. "It freaked me out. I thought I couldn’t keep treating my son that way." She then began to learn about LGBTQ+ people and realized they were not as "bad and indisciplined" as she had thought. "If he is happy living the way he truly is, I am happy too." Mong and her son’s is a typical and heartwarming story of the progress made by Vietnamese society in recent times in accepting the LGBTQ+ community. Earlier this month the Ministry of Health sent an announcement to provincial and municipal health departments and posted it on the government website. It said being LGBTQ+ "is entirely not an illness", and it "cannot be ‘cured’ nor needs to be ‘cured’ and cannot be changed in any way." Ah, that's interesting. I also read somewhere that Chatuchak Park is a good cruising spot. I walked through it once many years ago actually and there was one really cute Thai guy maybe around 25-30, following me everywhere. Historically, I am told that the park of the big Buddha was a cruising ground late at night. And the beach near Dusit. This was twenty plus years ago. This used to puzzle us. The coaches would arrive late in the evening and then the groups would take breakfast early the next morning. And then leave en masse. I never saw them around the pool, or in the Complex. Or anywhere. We assumed that the overnight stays were for the purpose of easing travel to the airport...or somewhere. We saw the same thing happening at our hotel in Seminyak, Bali a few years ago. it must be a money-spinner for the hotels!1 point -

In all my interactions with bar boys in Thailand over the years I have rarely heard a sob story, or any other story, designed to get money out of me. Yet strangely enough, if I did hear a genuine story, from I guy I liked, I'd be more than happy to dig deep and help him out. Rather then hand over a sum of money I'd prefer to set him up in a business of some kind - nothing too complicated - to ensure a steady stream of earnings (provided he can run the business, of course!) If the business failed I guess I'd just chalk it up to experience and move on. Years ago there was a guy in Pattaya who I'd seen over many trips; he was my regular guy. He had a wonderful personality and was so much fun to be with. He didn't drink or smoke and was certainly not a party boy. Oh, and he was a great bottom, too! I asked him what he planned to do after he got too old for the bar scene. He mentioned that he'd like to set up a juice stall. I told him when I came back on my next trip we could look into it. If the figures added up, I'd get him started and support him until he was making money. On my return trip 2 months later I went straight to the bar to meet him, only to find that he'd changed bars. I went to the bar and was shocked by what I saw. He was loud and out of control. He was obviously very drunk and probably on something (meth??). His friends in his previous bar told me he had changed after he started mixing with the wrong crowd. So that was the end of that. I never bothered with him again. Talk about a missed opportunity!1 point

Cambodian boys versus Thai boy scams
Ruthrieston reacted to Londoner for a topic
I wonder how many falangs are 100% honest with the guys they meet? How many promise, or imply, that they will pay more than they actually intend to? or find an excuse to pay less? or that they'll return to the bar tomorrow for a second "off"? Or over-egg their "pillow talk"? or give the impression that two or three nights of passion are the beginnings of a long-term relationship? We know the game the moment our planes land . We hold all the cards except one; the carnal one. As so often in our dealings with Thais, just smile.1 point -
8 Days in Sao Paulo
lopesv2 reacted to Vanbcanthony for a topic
Muito obrigado! Bem util. I'm practicing my Portuguese every day, so hopefully posso fazer amigos no Brasil. Every one I have talked to, especially the ones from Sao Paulo recommends Paulista or Jardin for first-timer. Several baianos highly recommend Salvador. Maybe that's too advanced for a newbie like me.1 point -
according to his Critique of Pure Reason, chapter 14, paragraph 27, verse 6 " if bar is closed for the day it's still a bar , if it's closed permanently is not a bar anymore "1 point

Don't get me wrong, not being prude I like that beer and cock part too and get nice tingling thinking about that. It's just thought of sucking guy whose cock was just polished by dentures of previous taker what gives me, mildly speaking , second thought.1 point

Lots of good information here about the three main gay areas, and yes, I still count Sunee - plenty of life left in that old dog yet! I have had some stunning nights in Winner Boys and Nice Boys in the past. But there are also boys to be found everywhere across the city - There are dedicated boy massage shops, but also mixed-gender massage shops with boys. Happy endings are available in most boy massage shops, and also in the mixed-gender shops occasionally. And as the bars close of an evening and the late-night clubs and karaoke bars open across Pattaya there are hundreds of boys to meet, party with and possibly more, until the wee small hours of the morning. Most karaoke bars are Thai orientated, but we have never been turned away from one, and there are a bewildering number of them! Many of the boys are straight, but most will party with guys as happily as girls. @colmx is the expert on these and the clubs and could say more.1 point

What I saw last trip is Boyztown is far more expensive in regards to pricing The guys in Boyztown seem more muscular, more " top" types than Jomtien Complex who seem to me more feminine twinky . Sunee is open , Nice boys Go Go in Sunee had more man type guys with tattoos and there was customer interaction with guys ,I tipped several guys and played with their cocks & balls Winner Go Go in Sunee also has a lot of twinky guys and I sucked off a few guys in there sitting next to me . I had two guys sit next to me on the bench, bought them both drinks and sucked their young hard dicks, both sitting next to me with ducks standing proud , I couldn't decide which guy to take back to the room so started sucking one off and I really wanted to sit my old butt on his standing up hard cock, riding him with my back to him , but I would be riding him up & down in front of the stage so decided just to suck him off and take the other guy back to my room, not only that the Go Go bar owner Paul was walking around so decided against riding that hard dick in there .🥒 I doubt they allow that in Boyztown Go Go bars though 😂 🔵( I should add that I use the word "guys" rather than the word "boys" which I'm sure many "Karen's" that read these forums would take meaning as something else,so I use the word "guys," rather than boys which to me people/Karen's could interpret as another meaning IE underage, hopefully many of you will follow suit rather than use that outdated word "boy" )🔵1 point

I arrived in Pattaya this week for a short (4 week) visit. On Saturday evening at about 10 pm I decided to give Boyztown a look over, as I haven’t seen it since the reopening after Covid. I decided to try 3 Gogo bars. The first I visited was an old favourite Toyboys and I was greeted warmly by the Manager/Boss/ Owner, or whatever he is. Name Put or Pat. There were in excess of 18 boys working all in underwear. Most if not all could be called Twinks. About 5 customers. Unfortunately, I was then “greeted” by a male Mamasan. I recognised him from a few years ago. Bad news. He must have graduated top of the class from the “Pesky Mamasan” University. He wouldn’t leave me alone, sat beside me and demanded a drink. Ignoring him eventually did the trick but it must have taken 15 minutes, before he went to pester another customer. Nasty piece of work. I made 100% sure he was outside when it came to paying the bill. Only had one drink and decided enough was enough. Next I went into BBB. Some boys on stage in full clothing and about 10 customers. I left without buying a drink. Next I went round the corner to see how things were at Dreamboys. As I approached the door a guy went straight inside. Bad sign. I ŵas right and there were no customers and about 5 boys scrambling to get on the stage. I decided it was not for me sitting there alone. As I was leaving BT I walked past A Bomb and so had a look inside. Again no customers. A few boys in underwear. All rather disappointing for a Saturday evening between 10 and 11 pm. I returned to Jomtien which was heaving!1 point

not sure what it is supposed to mean 'bit trashy" but whatever it is, nothing to be apprehensive about. Boys are as nice as BKK ones, prices of drinks, off fees , massages and expected tips are lower indeed. If you are looking for twinks you will find galore of them in Jomtien Complex as well as Winners and whatever was left from Sunee Plaza glory. Nice Boys staff may be a bit on rough side but in positive sense of it - less inhibited I'd say. For more meatier guys head to Boyztown, BBB and Dreamboys will be your destination there. If you bored during day, trip to Koh Larn ( with boy or three in tow), Sanctuary of Truth and Noong Noch (spelling? ) Tropical Gardens and Big Buddha on top of the hill at the center are you daytime distractions. Central Festival and Terminal 21 are malls to visit if you re shopper. Lots of restaurants so you won't starve, if you like street food , you will find plenty of it between Wat Chai and Tukcom. Baht bus is 10 baht and motorsai between Jomtien and the center will be 60-100 depending on driver , time of day, your negotiating skills, how you dressed and phase of moon. If you arrive by Airport bus ( recommended), terminal is walking distance of 6 minutes 37 seconds from Jomtien Complex, if by bus from Ekkamai bus station to North Pattaya Bus Station , it will be 50--100 by songtawew (baht bus) or motorsai to Boyztown, unless you stop songtaew on the main street, that it will be 2 times 10 baht as you must change at Delphin roundabout. As for hotels, in Boytzown Classroom (more quiet) , just above ABomb boy bar or in Boyztown proper Copa or Ambiance are your choices, all gust friendly like 127.43% of Pattaya hotels. In Jomtien complex Zing Resort or The Venue are cheaper choices, Agate , East Suites and Poseidon are more for affluent types like you.1 point
