Ok, now after the amazing night and long sleep I finally dragged myself from the comfort of the bed and down to meet my ride to Pattaya. As usual, I booked Nam's taxi the day before and my driver was waiting for me just before our scheduled time. 1200 baht and a 2-hour drive from my Bangkok hotel to East Suites. Pattaya I had already arranged my first rendezvous from Bangkok on Grindr, so when I arrived I had a quick shower and was deep in warm embrace within my first hour of being in Pattaya, off to a very good start! After a while of relaxing as night was falling, I decided to go for a walk around Jomtien Complex. Wow! it is very busy compared to April, I wouldn't say as busy as Songkran customer-wise, but definitely more guys/staff. It looks a lot less dreary with all of the lights on, and some new bars have popped up around the sois. I decided to step into a Bu Bu bar, I didn't remember being there next to Dick's Cafe in April, but they had menus out the front and some nice welcoming staff. So I'll stop in for food and a drink, it turned out the menus were from the small restaurants across the soi. I went for the Thai menu made by Sofia's Thai, oh boy it was delicious! This Chicken Cashew was hands down the best I've had. I went back another night and tried some more dishes, it was consistently great food. I found Bu Bu was a good place to sit and order from, giving a good view of the edge of Soda Massage and the comings and goings of the guys headed to work in the bars. As for the massage shops in the complex. There's the small shop (I can't recall the name) on the Thappraya side of Dick's Cafe, only 2-4 staff, but they looked more muscular and suspect better at actual massage. Soda Massage has a bright new sign above it, hard to count numbers but I think around 15+ staff, a mix of twinks and twunks. Then the massage around the corner toward Agate (again, can't remember the name), around 10-15 guys mixed twinks, twunks, hunks. Some very hot guys here as well. The Jomtien Complex bars between them had a LOOOOT of guys, I won't try to give estimates but I'd say something for everyone can be found there. Closing time is around 1-2am, then just as during April the party moves down to the beach where groups will sit around with drinks and food until the early hours. Well, I'm back in Pattaya and I know there's a little gogo bar over in Sunee screaming my name, so at around 9pm I head over to Winner. 60baht and 5 minutes by motosai I'm headed down the darkened Sunee plaza with the shining lights and usual squeals of the boys from Winner filling the air. My happy place. Now I won't sugar coat it too much, Winner has been struggling through covid. I often sat and talked with the owner at length in April and this trip about life and the bar, he's an absolute gem in my eyes, he cares for the staff and they care for him. However, there's a problem.. he is in a bit of a catch-22 situation, trying to keep enough staff to meet the customer demand without bleeding salary money in the quiet months after such a long time of having to keep the doors open with savings. Current guys in the bar is around 6-8, and they are all fantastic friendly cute guys (in white little speedos), but if it's a busy night and guys are being off'd it can be slim pickings. Get there early at 8-9 pm if you want to have the best shot at seeing all of them there. They don't tend to stand around on the podiums too long, they will mingle with the customers and run around the soi half naked to the food carts, so if you pop your head in and see an empty stage don't fret. I spent most nights at Winner this trip, drinking and joking around with the guys, they're just good fun. The drink prices are cheap and no one is ever pushy, so I was content. I did have 3-4 of the guys in my sights, but I only ended up with 2 and repeating the second for a couple of nights. I didn't make it to Boyztown at night, but when I did pass through on one early afternoon it looked a lot better. Ambiance is open again by the look of it, and all of the bars were setting up chairs out the front. Next trip I will dive back into BT and see what I can find in Toy Boys and the rest of this area. Time just wasn't on my side this trip. I had daily massages at Soda Massage and the occasional Grindr meetup, performance was good on all accounts, not a single dud this time in Pattaya. I'm reluctant to discuss this much, but I'll mention it. With the new laws regarding the decriminalization of the green flower, I decided to have a look at the offerings. I found the best shop was a dispensary one soi over from Sunee toward Tuckom called World Wide Weed (WWW), big selection and a friendly owner. I read some bad reviews about the shop(s) on walking street, maybe be cautious with them. If you do partake there are some rules to remember, they can't sell prerolled but they have papers and anything else you need. You cannot smoke in public or in bars, it is a 25k baht fine if you smoke it on the beach, but your hotel balcony is ok or the dispensary has a dedicated space to sample your purchase. 750baht/g for most of the selection, allegedly the quality is very good. I'm slowly trying every hotel in the Jomtien Complex, this time it was East Suites turn. The master room was very spacious, the price was really good, but no elevator, there was some noise pollution from the bars until 1 or 2 am, and I had to chase around a cockroach one night. Agate is still winning in my current standings, but Zing Resort is possibly next on my list to try. TT money exchange down Thappraya towards the beach still has the best exchange rates in the area, comparable to the airport basement. I think that's about all, I took Nam's taxi back to Swampy and check-in was fine but my flights were packed full again. A successful week that felt a lot longer., thanks for reading.15 points

Ranking is of best places to live , not to visit. People are dreaming about places but do they really want to live in those dream places ? Even if they do , are they part of majority wave or just shining exemptions ? we can find examples for everything as people are motivated by various things. I know somebody (white) who recently moved from one of cities on the top 10 list to rural Nicaragua of all places. Does it mean list above is biased ? Will Velvety still love Ho Chi Minh when he will be 80 ? It's easy to feel good in Third World city with First World money or earning potential I consider Bangkok best city in the world but would I like to live there permanently ? No , because year round heat (some may consider it a bonus but not me) and politics which are crooked and semi-feudal, less based on rules than somebody's whims. Guy who spent years in Africa with Diplomatic parents lived most likely quite shielded life there not daring to cross the city by foot at 3 AM like he would in Zurich or Osaka. Very few countries there are paragon of good governance unfortunately. Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America are most unequal societies on the earth so question arises about people dreaming about living there- do they want to live as top 10 % or bottom 90% ? as long as USA is building wall to keep Latinos out not to prevent Americans to escape and as long as Africans are trying to get to Europe by rickety boats ,not other way around it seems huddled masses are supporting validity of ranking above by their actions. No need to blend race into it. White race is not supreme, it just happen in this moment of history that is better in building livable cities and keeping them that way. Claim that 85-90 % of world's people have really livable cities based on those criteria "culture, health care, education, infrastructure, and entertainment" seems to be frivolous at best, if only because half humanity is still rural and doesn't have an access or if it does , it's very scant to any of those 5.4 points

And the girls from the Beer Bars of Soi 6 and elsewhere will also say that not only do they not have a Thai BF, they 'no like Thai man'. They will also tell you that Thai men have small cocks, that they like old men, and that they positively love 'pompui man', etc etc. š¤£š And all this on your first short-time with them! š They all, boys and girls, tell us whatever they think we want to hear. I use the paid version, I got fed up with the ads and I wanted to see a greater distance. It has also helped to use the explore function to add some favorites before I arrive, then I can just send out a bunch of messages when I arrive from my favorites list and see who replies. Sending the messages before you arrive usually doesn't work out because they see the distance and ignore it, but preparing the list helps. I have a feeling it might also be a case of an influx of new staff in massage/gogos after a long hiatus, the newbies need to learn the trade.3 points

Flying Business, economy or first class
splinter1949 and one other reacted to VancBCMan for a topic
On the last few trips, I have flown business class on long haul flights and economy on flights less than couple of hours. I don't think I could fly economy on long haul flights anymore. As it is, I am not able to sleep on the plane (even in biz class) except for dozing off for few minutes during the flight. So whatever little rest I can get on the way is great. I used to travel in Premium Economy, but found biz class fares on other airlines not much higher, so now choose that. With lounge access, it's really helpful to relax there and eat something light, when the layover in 3-4 hours. That makes it a less tiring trip overall. On board, I also appreciate the service and food choices in biz class. I used to redeem my Aeroplan points to fly business class - and that's how I got used to flying in biz class. They have now changed their redemption policy and it now takes a lot more miles to get a business class seat. And you are often offered routing that may take up to 30 hours to get to your destination. Oh well, I just have to fork out more money now to travel in biz class. (sigh). But I think it's worth it. To balance the extra cost in flying..... while I do like to stay in decent hotels, I don't go overboard. And I don't spend too much money on food either. Some basic local dishes are fine.... and sometimes just go for KFC or Burger King when I feel the urge to eat fast food!2 points -
And many of those same girlfriends also work in the agogos and beer bars, so perhaps it isn't just the gay customers that should be concerned šš¤£ Honestly, it has always been that way. Just about every gay-for-pay straight guy will have a GF. And just about every gay boy with have a BF. Condoms will rarely feature! We are 'work sex' only. Have a few beers, and sit there with you hands, mouths, and wallets open and enjoy the cock-fest that is Nice Boys2 points

Sounds like Dui, he has told me the same before. He is like a machine, but never fails to 'rise' to the challenge, and never disappoints either in the bar or in the room. He is top of my list to see again next month. My BF and I often take him and his GF out for Thai buffet late at night; she brings the baby too! š¤£ Dui is a condom boy, as are most in that bar. Yes Sunee can be dark, with the bars as little beacons of light in the distance, and even Nice Boys can appear closed from a distance even when it is bouncing inside. Be brave!, it is worth it! š2 points

As long as I'm making corrections and updating, yes it was Richard Burk who said that to me many years ago. Over the years I have repeated it many times on many topics. He was the owner of the Amor restaurant in Boyztown. After 16 years the restaurant eventually failed. The owner of the New Orleans restaurant, also well known in Boyztown, took over the location and converted it to a deli which he named Street Life. I never understood his rationale for that name, nevertheless at the time it was the only one of its kind in Pattaya. Richard did not own it. He was there as the manager. Street Life eventually failed too and Richard ended up going from job to job as restaurant manager in various locations. His final one was at Coco's restaurant on Soi Chaiyapruek - and that one eventually failed too. Richard had a very difficult time of it after Street Life failed, but one thing I always admired him for - he was a fighter. Despite all of his troubles he never gave up. I think those of us who have been in Pattaya long enough, whether they liked him or not, well remember Richard. He was quite a character. Richard died in March, 2017.2 points

Thank you me and humor ? you must be kidding ! When we met , one of our members told me that based on my reports he thought I'm some sober, overweight German accountant of which only overweight turned to be truth and even that to a very small degree only. I wrote my report after I returned home but details are accurate as during trip I keep daily log of important happenings like ; "Dw5m3m5mh" which translates : " D wanted 5000 , I offered 3000, he accepted , in the morning I gave him 500 more and he was visibly happy with it " or " KGdinhdturn77" i.e after session K and I went to G'Bangkok German restaurant in soi 4 for a dinner and I noticed that passerby'e are turning heads looking at us seeing outside. No doubt they feel sorry for K that he must dine with his grandfather and jealous for me having landed such a hunk. Total bill was 770" It's hard work but writing it helps to re-live experiences again, that's rewarding for me . We won't meet there in Feb as it's month when I can't travel unless I stop working or win lottery or both. My then BKK should be back to pre-covid normal from your nick I can see you are lucky one having non-stop BKK flight from home airport2 points

and your are right. Jomtien places are charging 300-400 for massage so with 1200-1500 fee it leaves plenty of room for boy's tip , specially all he has to do is walk 50-100 meters if you are based in Complex as well. Don't expect the same in Bkk where fees are much higher and distance to cover large. VClub, JeySpa or Senso have fees of 1000 and min tip 1500-1800 so obviously they will quote much more. But if you order massage from apps 1000-1500 may be all you will pay. I had Grindr guy three times , 1500 was all he asked for excellent massage and extras, funny part was, it was actually him who was contacting me for business, not other way around. I'm glad I gave in2 points

1.Likely poor choice of words or lack or come where it should be. Winners and Nice Boys are like others said in Sunee 2.always go and see for yourself, why bother with Boyztown ? BoyzBoyzBOyz, ToyBoys, Castro, Picketty(spelling?- bar with host boys across BBB ), Scandic and Paradise massage, ABomb, Dreamboys and XBoys is your answer 3. Boyztown , massage places across the city and apps is your help 4.Google Maps lies 5. that would be Nice Boys. Is that really your thing watching patrons sucking boys in the bar ? You want be next to suck that boy right after previous buy finished? Live some fun for your room2 points

I guess I have met many BMs over the years, although most from the other forum I am on. Always interesting to meet new people, some I see again and again on subsequent trips, others are happily only passing ships. However, I have been fortunate to have had a succession of three 'wingmen' supporting me on my 22 trips; people who have very definitely become friends both while I am in Thailand and back home. Two sadly have now passed on but I remember them fondly for their friendship, advice and wisdom. The third has hopefully many more years left in him as he is quite a lot younger than me, but knows the gay scene of Pattaya vastly better than me. Our holidays don't always coincide, but when they do mine is immeasurably better as a consequence. There is a level of gossip and banter that you can have with farang friends in Pattaya that is not really possible with my Thai friends; language barriers mostly, but also wholly different perspectives as to why we are each in Pattaya. If all goes to plan I hope to be back in Pattaya from 2nd September for 4 weeks and would be happy to meet up with (most š) other BMs on this forum for a drink and a chat. Don't worry about cramping my style amongst the other bar boys, that's my boyfriends chosen job! š¤£ Please send me a PM if you would like to do so2 points

(part 12, truly in a tidbit fashion) After making my usual rounds this week at Dream Boy, Fresh Boys and New Twilight (in that order) and offed three boys of different nationalities (Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar, respectively), one from each bar, here are some updates. 1. Drink price and boy's cut: Dream Boy is the most expensive at 450B for both customer and boy drink, Fresh Boy: 400B, and New Twilight: 350B. Boys all got 100B from their own drinks. The bar fines (or off fees) are all the same: 500B (but different from Pattaya bars, as reported in earlier parts, boys in Bangkok bars receive nothing from the bar fine). 2. Boy's basic salary: all three bars provide some incentive for boys, who show up at work on time (8pm) and who do not have an off that night (boy drinks don't count). This amount varies from bar to bar though. Dream Boy stingiest with 100B/night, Fresh Boy better with 150, New Twilight most generous with 200 (on par with Banana Room reported in part 8). Fresh Boy also had this weird rule: if the previous night you don't have a customer, the next day nobody cares if you show up for work or not. But if you had a customer the night before and you don't show up the next day, bar assumes that you are still with that customer and you have to pay a bar fine of 500B. Since the boy I offed from Fresh Boy is Viet and we talked in Vietnamese, I think I got this correctly. 3. Number of boys: Since Dream Boy currently boasts the largest cast (more than 40), Fresh Boy middle of the pack (around 25) and New Twilight (less than a dozen, 7 floor boys and 4 show boys the night I visited) comes last, the above-mentioned incentive appears to play a lesser part in boys' decision of where to work. I think number of potential customers is far more important. Fresh Boy and Dream Boy both played to a packed house the nights I visited (drizzling midweek nights) and many boys got off. Things did not bode well at all for New Twilight: Saturday night, perfect weather (pretty cool but no rain) and only 6 customers (4 alone and 2 together) at the time the show started (10p30). A few more arrived during a show. There was a large gaggle of young male farangs coming in, who could easily double or triple the "crowd" size in the house if they decided to stay, but they didn't. I think when they saw there were only a few boys on stage, fully-clothed, they backed out immediately. 4. Speaking of New Twilight's attire problems, I made it a point to complain loudly to 2 different mamasans about what the boys were wearing on stage (this is a GO-GO bar with GO-GO prices, why LONG jeans and black t-shirts with LONG sleeves, revealing almost nothing; the boys all looked like valet parking attendants in some casino hotel in Cambodia). Both mamasans assured me boys would wear less later (after the second show, around midnight), but I didn't see that happened. When I finally picked a boy, before making my decision (actually I already made my decision when he showed me shirtless pictures on his phone), just for added effect, I asked him to get back on stage at least shirtless. He took off his shirts and stood at the end of the rotation. Then it looked like he explained the situation to other boys and moved up front so I can admire his toned body. I nodded my approval "that's how it's done", told the mamasan (who recognized me from the early X-boy and Lucky Boys days and still remembered I'm Vietnamese) to go get the tab. Funny enough, when my boy got back to me, another on stage also took off his shirt (probably in hope of getting more attention?) I also saw that most boys who were asked to come and sit with a customer are show boys, who wore underwear most of the time, and one got an off and left with a customer after the final show, around the same time I left with mine, a bit after midnight. Another problem (New Twilight's freezing aircons which other members complained about) was also addressed several times that night. When I put on my light jacket, a mamasan asked if they should adjust the temperature (good customer care). Then another customer on my left asked them to change it again because it was still freaking cold. Then just before their second show, one of the dancers in a skimpy outfit asked for the third time. It was then warm enough I had to take off my jacket to reveal my toned body. Sorry I digress... 5. The "You can f*ck me but keep it an open secret" trend: as discussed in part 10, I noticed this phenomenon years ago in Vietnamese MBs in Vietnam, but this time, I start noticing it too in Bangkok bars. When I visited Hotmale earlier this week, the only one I would consider offing is No 34. Checked with a mamasan, who said he's Thai and straight. "Can I f*ck him?" "No, he's men." A few minutes later, another mamasan, who somehow got wind of my enquiry, approached me and said "You can f*ck him but you have to pay more. But keep it a secret because he's shy and doesn't want others to know". I refrained from asking the obvious question "then how come do you know?", "how much more?" Mamasan didn't know (maybe it was an even bigger secret) and ran off to asked, then came back with "He wanted 5000" (same level as Moonlight models?). I don't think so, so I didn't off anyone from Hotmale that night. Then in New Twilight, the boy I picked was also straight. Both he and mamasan said he's willing to bottom (not asking for more money though) but again, it's a secret (I tell only you) nobody knows (except those who know). 6. This time, I continued to off mostly new faces, as is my wont. I was second customer of the boy in Dream Boy, who was a 26-year-old hair stylist back in Cambodia and who needed money to pay off his big loan. I was (again) the first customer ever of that boy who got on stage shirtless in New Twilight. He was from Myanmar and just started 2 weeks ago, got two boy drinks but no off yet. It seems he's indeed new and tended to do exactly what I told him. Back in the hotel, I gave him a toothbrush. He went off brushing his teeth, then came back, still wearing his jeans. "You didn't take a shower?" I asked him. "I have to take a shower?" Off he went back to the bathroom. Later, it turned out, not just was this the first time he slept with a man, it was the first time he slept with anyone (He hasn't even slept with a girl yet, never had a girlfriend, and he's 21 years old already. Must have come from a far-flung backwater area.) Didn't even know how to kiss with tongue. "Are you nervous?" I asked him. "No, I'm not nervous.... I'm afraid. This is my first." Speaking of "first time", I was also the first time ever of Little Lao in part 11. Born to a farmer's family, grew up in a rural area and only did farming work, he never had a chance to have sex with men, let alone have a boy friend. "I went to Thailand to earn money but also to have opportunities to have sex with men," so he told me after that farce of threesome also reported in part 11. "I slept with 4 or 5 men so far" He added (proudly? but appears to lose count already though) Anyway, what happened with the Viet boy I offed from Fresh Boy was more hilarious. He was far more popular than the other two and also the youngest at 18 years old. He started in Fresh Boy 5 days ago and I was already his fourth customer. That means he got customers, both farang and Asian, almost every day. Can't speak English and Thai (not yet), very sweet and nice to talk to in his mother tongue, I think he would follow the same route as other cute Viet boys I met in Fresh Boy. Popular at fist as a cute new face, but no repeats. His idea of servicing a customer is still pretty much jerking himself off to a porn video while the customer watches. Just out of curiosity, I also asked him how much it would take to f*ck him. He said, he would consider bottoming, and since this is his first time, to "take his flower" or to "pop his cherry" (or whatever expressions you think would fit), a customer needs to pay 50.000 bath. To be fair, in Vietnam, virginity traditionally matters a lot and wealthy businessmen have been known to pay many times of that amount to deflower a girl, believing doing so would bring them good luck. Anyway, the boy in question, in stark contrast with the Myanmar boy, slept with girls before he reached 18 (the consent age in Vietnam is 16) and already got a new Viet girlfriend who's only 17 right here in Bangkok, barely five days after he arrived, so I think the matter of virginity is not really relevant here. 7. Finally, some funny tidbits. I agreed with some other members' observations: New Twilight white-wearing waiters are generally cuter and also more gay than their floor boys. Because @jason1975 got a regular working as waiter in the bar and he made it clear that his friends stay away from his man, I have to be sure. When I came in, my first question to a cute waiter who greeted me was "Who's Jason's man?" (so that I can stay away from him) "Everyone else, but me" came back the answer. Sorry this is totally made-up. I just wanted to pull Jason's proverbial leg. The fucking show in Fresh Boy that night had to stop midway, I guess because the top can't keep it hard. So they went backstage and the audience was asked to watch a cabaret performance while the boys got themselves ready again (I don't know how). The Viet boy sitting with me gave his kudos to the top - who he saw, during his five days working in Fresh Boy, perform every night, three different shows each day, all requiring a sustained hard-on (first a jerk-off solo on a couch, then the big cock show, finally the fucking show). Should I start a blue pill donation campaign to help him out? I'm sure many members here have one or two to spare. (to be continued)2 points

Greta probably agrees this isn't worth talking about as it has approximately 0.05% chance of happening. A great Reddit thread described it as "powered by hopes and dreams; powered by Photoshop until the free trial expires". They have no engine. Their "flying prototype" hasn't... These vaunted contracts are minor fees upfront and a whole lot of stipulations and easy exits. The Concord had 18+ airlines signed and ended up ever delivering to... two. And there was a hell of a lot more behind the Concord than this fantasy. Given that no airline is putting real money in at this stage the only way this could ever get off the ground is people investing, I doubt there are enough stupid people in the whole world to get near what they'd need--assuming they're fully serious and competent. Far easier to Photoshop up a nice pamphlet and press release, wait for the idiotic press to go way overboard about it, and cash in on whatever stupid money you can grab for as long as you can keep pushing back the promised dates than to seriously try--either way the results are almost guaranteed to be the same!1 point

I agree that we shouldn't hold our breath, waiting for Greta's blessing on supersonic flight. Indeed, Greta doesn't believe that we should be flying at all. She's doing her best to shame those who do fly ("flygskam" in her native Swedish). For those who choose to heed her message, you might catch the Orient Express from Europe to Istanbul and then look for connections by boat to Kaduying Port (THBKK) that lies about 40 kilometers from the Gulf of Thailand on the Chao Phraya River. Allow about three weeks (add another week if originating your trip in North America). Your journey won't come cheap (about the cost of a first-class air ticket) but you'll have a fully flat bed to sleep in every night and ample time to catch up on that reading.1 point

Even with an ass that looks clean, rimming could expose you to any and all of the disesases that could be contacted by human feaces. These include a host of bacterial diseases like hepatitis A and B, HPV, parasites which carry giardiasis - and that's before you consider syphillis, chlamydia and gonorrhea. This will just be a short update report, I spent a long visit to Thailand a few months ago and this trip was just a side visit because I was 'in the area'. Taking every opportunity that arises I spent a week between Bangkok and Pattaya, too short to get to all of the bars I wanted, but long enough to get a feel for the recovery. My prior trip was still enjoyable, but dealing with the Thailand pass hoops and the shifting sands of closing time restrictions, outdoor 'restaurant' seating only, and other covid measures did put a cloud over things. I'm happy to say a lot of these hurdles are now gone, and the life in the bars is returning. Firstly, getting there: No more Thailand Pass paperwork š Vaccine paperwork not checked on arrival, just at check-in š Immagration was a 15 minute affair, just as before 2020 š Flight prices are crazy and my flights were full š The exchange booths in the basement adjacent to the aiport station were open, 2 with identical rates, then the one bank (i cant recall which) booth with worse rates. Up a few levels and out to a Taxi, it felt so good to be in and out of the airport in 30 mins, in a taxi zipping down the motorway to Silom. Bangkok The first thing I always do is walk the Surawong, Tawan, Silom Rd, Thaniya block. It was around 8pm for reference. Surawong: Olivia massage was open with 8-10 guys (1-2 twinks), Green Massage was about the same. Tawan side: I think I counted 3 massage shops with guys outside, more muscle guys. Silom to the right of soi Tawan: A new shop Nineteen massage, I only saw 2-3 guys out front, none I fancied so I didn't poke my head in. Silom past patpong/soi4/soi2: The touts are back, a few massage offers from the guys outside Soi 4 for Adam Massage. The soi 4 bars were open and a bit of foot traffic, which was a good sign. On the path back from Thaniya I believe Amolir was open again, but I missed it in my notes on whether it is still mixed-sex or only ladies. The massage places are coming back to life, much more choice than earlier this year. I returned to Patpong later, and was flanked by touts as I stroll up the stairs to Fresh Boys... busy busy busy. They were down to 2-3 open benches left, there was about 25 guys on stage and waiting in rotation. Most of the guys I would describe as twunks, 3-4 twinks, shirtless in white booty shorts and a couple of cute waiters. The shows are never my highlight, but they at least have big cock pole kicking back I guess. My off was a bit of a dud, seemed to be new to the scene, but it's still good to be back. On the following afternoon I decided to investigate Olivia Massage, just as I picked my massuese another guy walked out that would have absolutely been my first choice. Oh well, I'm not going to let the guy down and switch half way in the door with him. Now I don't think i've been to Olivia before, I was under the impression it was generally considered a 'extras' kind of place. The guy I picked stayed fully clothed and made no advance to asking for extras, I made some not so subtle hints but he didn't take the bait. He was very new, very limited massage skills and no english. I made my way to Banana room after dinner at G's, Banana had i think 8-12 guys, still more twunks but a few options for me. I didn't end up taking anyone, just some drinks and enjoying the views. My final Bangkok day I did the rounds of the massage shops, but it was a bit early in the afternoon ~12pm. The guy from Olivia said hi, but the guy I really wanted to return for wasn't in. Green massage was empty this early so I did a walk past nineteen and it's too early for them too. Decided to pass and make my way back to the hotel. I had a coffee at the cafe beside The Quarter opposite mango tree (can't find on google maps). I picked beans from Chang Mai, absolutely delicious. Coffee lovers should give it a try and see if they're consistent, I only tried it once. Back at the hotel I fired up Grindr and set up a meeting with a university guy. He came over later and it was the best sex I've had in a very very long time, I was in heaven for a good 2-3 hours. We exchanged Line and I was considering canceling Pattaya to get the rest of the week with him, but I decided to hold strong and stick with the plan. I'll be back for him again another trip hopefully. That was my Bangkok stay, very brief, but some very good signs for the recovery. I'll post Pattaya in the next day or so.1 point

Recently, one of them even told me as much. I asked how many times he cums in one day. He said average 3 times at NB and 2 times with girlfriend. Odds are good, you're right to be worried, assuming he's telling the truth.1 point

not to dispute what you said but keep in mind any newcomer looks at the places with different set of eyes than almost domesticated multiple times visitors. we may yawn at Winners or Nice Boys but for somebody being first time is such a place if may still cause premature ejaculation just by peeking inside. When I first time saw sign' Boy bar" walking Suriwong all those years ago my pulse was at last deafening 120 and I did not come from specially restricted place when comes to those things but still.1 point

I know this was an unpopular view on another forum but one of the reasons why Sunee became a dark, depressing and near-deserted area a few years ago , was the closure of the shisha bars. They'd added colour and vibrancy (harmlessly to us, I hasten to add|) but for some- not on this board- their very presence was an affront. I know it wasn't a gay forum that finished Sunee but let's just say it didn't exactly help to keep the area alive. " Be not deceived....as ye sow so shall ye reap."1 point

It was still one of those early Bangkok experience days many years ago .. I heard of V Club from a friend and was so impressed by the men there when I look up their website ...when i was finally inside V Club for the first time ..i was super excited. I was sit at the sofa in the middle and was surrounded by all the guys whose body were totally my type . I remember I had a hard time deciding who to take .as there were just too many great option . I finially decided to take the one standing right at the end ..was told by him that was one of his tricks to get the attention of customer ..I mean most of the boys were like looking at you trying to get your attention other than that boy .who was not looking my way . Hahaha ...anyway ..he was good ...really good ..I was so " in love " with his personality and body that i offer him to come by my hotel for overnight right after he was done with the massage . He took up the offer and was calling me from the hotel lobby that night . We spend some time talking about personal stuff and ofcouse he " give good love " ..he ended staying with me for 4 more nights before i return to Singapore . I met up with him for few more times in Bangkok and Singapore .. I was never disappointed ..and once pre covid he invited me to Myanmar where he is from ..I had a great time there . He was my tour guide cum sex toy .. Than Covid hit..and he return home from Bangkok . It's been a long time s since I met up with him ...but we still do Video call often ..but I have plan to visit Bangkok very soon .And he has agreed to meet me in Bangkok when I'm there ...I can't wait ... And ya .of all the massage boys I had all these years ...he is always my number 1 ....nobody even come close .....1 point -
Certainly a beautiful city with a wonderful display of eye candy almost everywhere. But you'll need a lot of cash. It's an expensive city. I spent two weeks in Iran almost 4 years ago. I had decided to go only because I was returning to the UK on Qatar and wanted to have a stopover to explore another part of that part of the world. Also, friends in Shanghai had been to Iran twice and absolutely loved it. To say I loved it would be an understatement. I expect the city to which @tassojunior's friends refer is Esfahan, truly one of the world's great cities. Apart from a few sights, I'd give Tehran a miss due to its horrendous traffic, but Shiraz, Esfahan, Yazd and Kashan were quite stunning. I found everyone I met warm-hearted, courteous and friendly. I found this odd given that I am from a country which has placed considerable sanctions on Iran. On talking to some, it was clear to a man/woman they loathe the regime they live under. My guides even openly talked about the extensive corruption of the regime. But while I would happily return regularly, especially to Esfahan, it is not a city I would not consider living in full-time.1 point

There are now in Thailand quite a number of assisted care homes that are far more attractive than perhaps we expect. I know of three just outside Chiang Mai. One elderly Thai friend whose partner had just left him after he was diagnosed with the onset of Alzheimers moved to one on an island just upriver of Chiang Mai 18 months ago. He loves it. He has his own room with en suite, a lovely garden setting, communal dining room, daily nursing care and plenty of buzzers for unexpected emergencies. His facility also has half a dozen daily return minibus trips in to Chiang Mai. Best of all the all-in monthly cost is far lower than he expected. I'm not sure of the exact price but will post it when I next speak to him.1 point

What I saw last trip is Boyztown is far more expensive in regards to pricing The guys in Boyztown seem more muscular, more " top" types than Jomtien Complex who seem to me more feminine twinky . Sunee is open , Nice boys Go Go in Sunee had more man type guys with tattoos and there was customer interaction with guys ,I tipped several guys and played with their cocks & balls Winner Go Go in Sunee also has a lot of twinky guys and I sucked off a few guys in there sitting next to me . I had two guys sit next to me on the bench, bought them both drinks and sucked their young hard dicks, both sitting next to me with ducks standing proud , I couldn't decide which guy to take back to the room so started sucking one off and I really wanted to sit my old butt on his standing up hard cock, riding him with my back to him , but I would be riding him up & down in front of the stage so decided just to suck him off and take the other guy back to my room, not only that the Go Go bar owner Paul was walking around so decided against riding that hard dick in there .š„ I doubt they allow that in Boyztown Go Go bars though š šµ( I should add that I use the word "guys" rather than the word "boys" which I'm sure many "Karen's" that read these forums would take meaning as something else,so I use the word "guys," rather than boys which to me people/Karen's could interpret as another meaning IE underage, hopefully many of you will follow suit rather than use that outdated word "boy" )šµ1 point

I like a bit of anonymity, my real name isn't Vaughn (shock horror) and I try to keep a bit of distance from my real life to my confessions online haha. That said, If someone invites me to their table or strikes up a conversation in a bar/gogo I never turn it down, I've met some good friends that way. I've crossed paths with a couple of other board members but never introduced myself, I'm far too introverted to do that haha.1 point

My understanding is that LMTU died of cancer caused by the HPV virus. Friend of mine had to decide recently as to whether his 12yo son should get the HPV vaccine. Seems crazy to me not to take it when it's available and causes such horrible death1 point

at last count I met 26 members during my 22 Thai trips including firecat, hence deceased and 1 member on my home turf. It was always fun. Not all meetings were reported in my trip reports for one reason or another though. Some meetings were over dinner, other joint trips to massages or bar visits. Few just handshakes in passing. For bar visits z909 and Christian PFC are the best companions as there's no chance we will go for the same guys. On another hand spoon and 18past 19 are most dangerous companions as there's 100% chance we will like the same guy but so far we managed to avoid any conflicts of interest, quite opposite they recommended few gems to me in the past for what I'm eternally grateful.1 point

PeterRS's comment about JAL's economy class food interests me because the last thing on my mind when I upgrade to business is the food. I am totally incapable of enjoying it on the flight, preferring to eat prior to departure. As for drink...well, EVA's Business had a splendid wine list on Tuesday and yet the best I could manage was one small glass. EVA no longer have First Class but, many years ago when it was still available on the old 747s, I was "double upgraded" and found myself one of six (?) passengers in First on a BKK-LHR flight. The food and the wine was of luxurious quality, chosen to include the most expensive items available, such as pate de fois gras and caviar. I managed to eat very little of it . And, incidentally no doubt, I suffered stomach pains the next day which have never occurred before or since. Even on Easyjet. I put it down to divine retribution for mixing with the wrong company.1 point

Bangkok post-Covid, July 2022
VancBCMan reacted to macaroni21 for a topic
Once again, I find myself in admiration of the way Numazu expresses his thoughts, when he wrote in his 12 July 2022 post (in page 1 of thread: Bangkok Trip Report 2022: The wait is over. What was I waiting for?): He gave me an idea then, but it's taken me a while to get it done. In addition to creating a new map of the area showing gogo bars and massage parlours that are open post-Covid, I have also retrieved some old posts that illustrate what Numazu was saying about the contrast between what there is in Patpong 2 and what there was in Soi Twilight. As with most of the my reports, I record the prices too, and some might find it interesting to see what prices were 13 or 14 years ago when Soi Twilight was in its heyday. www.shamelessmacktwo.travel.blog The specific post with the new map: https://shamelessmacktwo.travel.blog/2022/08/01/memory-lane-and-a-new-silom-surawong-map-july-2022/1 point -
Bangkok post-Covid, July 2022

I went twice to Fresh Boys on Patpong Soi 2 within the same week, but what a difference the hour makes. The first visit, I arrived at about 10pm and stayed for the show. The bar was more than half full. The second visit, I arrived after the show (I can't remember what time exactly) and there were only three other customers there. At 10pm, I counted 18 customers, filling up the two rows of benches facing the stage and as a result, I was shown to a side bench. From that vantage point, I could see that five customers had six boys sitting with them. The total number of customers increased to 25 - 28 by showtime at 10:30pm. However, the bar saw well more than that number of customers because throughout the evening, there was quite a lot of coming and going. The mamasan helpfully moved me to a better seat when a customer left. There were 25 - 30 boys, rotating 10 to 12 at a time on stage, all shirtless and in white shorts. Sitting with customers were 5 - 6 boys. Most were S2 and S3R with the occasional S3M or Q2. In short, "medium twinks". It's a small space, and customers are close to the stage. When off the stage, the boys often sit in a section that faces the customers and eye contact is easily made. That compensates somewhat for the bad choice the bar made in choosing yellow and white for some number tags. The contrast between the two colours is so low, it is virtually impossible to make out the boy's number from anything more than a metre and a half away. This annoyed me because the one guy I thought best-looking had a yellow tag and try as I might, I just couldn't make out his number. Fortunately, he walked by a few times and smiled and we connected. The show could well be the "best" in Bangkok in my estimation, for the simple reason that it had no lip-sync katoey items. These numbers put me off, not least because they also tend to turn up the volume for the song. Undoubtedly the acts were amateurish, but I wasn't here for slick and polish. There were only six items, all performed by the rotation crew. Five out of the six items had engorged appendages on display. The second last act had three guys with stiff members whacking a metal pole, after which they circulated among the audience for gropes and tips. This was followed by the finale that had two guys in coital positions. I didn't off anyone that night. My WhatsApp kept distracting me with messages from home, and with a small crisis brewing, I felt that a longish voice conversation was being expected from me in the following hour. A couple of nights later, I was back at Fresh Boys, timing it for after the show since I was intending to take a boy out. I had no clear idea which boy that would be but since I had the impression from my first visit that quite a number of boys from Fresh were within my acceptability criteria, it was probably the place with the best chance of a good fit. Wow, there were only three other customers post-show. More importantly, there were only about 12 - 15 boys. Assuming that the bar had started the evening with the usual complement of 25 - 30 boys, that meant that about half the boys had been taken, a pretty good "off" rate. I shouldn't have been surprised. The other night, amongst the coming and going, I saw three customers leave with new-found companions within the 30 minutes before the show began, Yellow tag was among the less fortunate ones that night. He had not been taken and was still there. I called him down from the stage and resumed our conversation from where we had left off the previous night. Unlike the last time when, because I didn't want to raise his hopes of an off from me, we talked only about his family and his home town, this time we went quite quickly into the specifics of what he would do and what he'd rather not do in bed. He leaned over and sort of whispered into my ear. "I can bottom," he said. I hadn't expected that, as he looked straight to me. Nonetheless, I did not let my surprise delay me. My reply was ready. "And I can top." A few minutes later, the bill was called. At Fresh Boys, each drink was 350 baht. The off fee was 500 baht.1 point
