  1. I grew up in a small city in Scotland, and my brother, who was five years older than me, was also gay, but rather than helping or supporting me through the bad times he made it worse for me. He got married and had two children, while still being even more camp than me. When I came out to my parents in my mid twenties as I was leaving Scotland for the joys of London, my mother's only response was to ask "What about your brother?", to which my only response was "ask him dear". I last saw my brother at our mother's funeral more than twenty years ago. I still hate him for all he did to me. In my teenage years I tried to kill myself three times, once with a paracetamol overdose that nearly worked. I am now in my mid sixties and have lived in Pattaya for eleven years and having a happy retirement after being kicked out of my job for being gay at the age of 52. Sorry for being so boring, I will shut up now.

  2. No, it wasn't boring at all. Please continue to post about your experience. We all have our coming out stories and for many of our generation they are unhappy and sometimes very traumatic, Fortunately, my experience was a happy one. I grew up in Japan from age 13. In my day it was a very conservative society (and to tell the truth, nothing much seems to have changed.) I was always fearful of being "outed" at school because Japanese boys can be vicious if they turn on someone - they've got bullying down to a fine art. So I acted macho, made crude jokes about fucking girls, commented on how sexy certain girls were - you know what I mean. As the only foreigner most of them had ever seen, apart from in the movies, I was the constant centre of attention, especially among the girls who would pass me notes in class (at that time I couldn't read them) leave gifts for me on my desk and most disconcertingly of all, stand around me in a circle and watch me eat my lunch. Needless to say, this caused problems between me and the other guys who were jealous of my situation. They'd be thinking, why don't the girls pay attention to me? And I'd be thinking, why don't the boys pay attention to me? Lol. At school we stayed in the same classroom all day and the teachers used to come to us. There was a 10 minute break in between classes to go to the toilet (and for the boys to stand in front of the mirror and preen themselves!) One day a boy told us to make sure we all gathered in the toilet because he had something to show us - something his older brother had taught him. It was the start of our group wanking sessions between classes. Being gay, it made school more fun than any school kid could imagine. I couldn't wait to get to school every day! There was one boy who, for some reason, I suspected of being gay. Of course, I never approached him in case he wasn't, but as it turned out he was and it was with him that I had my first sexual experience. Being an only child, I was extremely close to my parents so when I decided to tell them that I was gay I didn't really think it would be a big deal. So at the dinner take I simply said something along the lines of "I think I ought to tell you that I like boys, not girls." Funnily enough, I didn't know the word "gay", I only knew the Japanese word. Mum got up and gave me a big hug and dad said "Can you pass me the salt, please?" or something like that. Apart from dad telling me I should keep quiet about it, there was no further discussion. They were 100% supportive. By the time those classmates had reached the last year of school they had grown out of their bullying ways and I felt comfortable enough to come out to them. A few decided they no longer wanted to be friends with me - no loss there- but everyone else was fine. We are still all friends even to this day and if they have a major celebration I always fly up to Japan to be with them. The important thing is, understand the society in which you live and act accordingly. The gay life I enjoyed in Tokyo was full-on and anything I've experienced in Thailand pales into insignificance. But you don't flaunt your sexuality if you are gay. (Heteros can, and do so all the time). Almost all activity takes place behind closed doors. I say "almost" because I was regularly groped on the train during rush hour, especially when I was a student. So apart from enjoying being at school, the journey there in the morning was also fun! OK, that's enough. Except to say I'm so lucky to have had such understanding parents. Stories here and from my Aussie gay friends about family rejection is all so sad.

  3. Much more informative and interesting than many posts on a similar topic. Under our happy exteriors in our retirement years, I think many of us have locked at the back of our minds the torments we went through when younger, some much more than others. Looking back, I enjoyed much happiness and success, but there were times when it was really tough being gay. As a teen, the fear of being found out and what that might entail. Keeping the secret as my brother and sister went out with their girlfriends and boyfriends. The temptation to just find a nice girl and get married, to appear 'normal' no matter that this would undoubtedly eventually cause misery for both parties. Then having found a pleasant way of adapting to my closet lifestyle there appeared on the horizon HIV/AIDS. Having just been through a couple of years of covid, few outside the gay community can surely understand these just-passed years were a mere inconvenience for most gay guys compared to the spectre of death from an act of love or just momentary passion that started little more than 40 years ago. I was visiting Bangok quite regularly during the 1980s and early 1990s before the researchers came up with medication that would ensure we no longer faced a death sentence. Perhaps oddly Thailand had been at the forefront of condom use - not for gay sex but to encourage couples to use them to reduce family sizes. Khun Meechai, the condom king, had all but totally taken the stigma away from using condoms. In the villages, he organised condom blowing competitions, dropping water filled condoms from a height to see if any did not explode - and so on. So common did they become that condoms became known as meechais. (His Bangkok restaurant Cabbages and Condoms is still a fun place to dine - it's just off Sukhumvit). With more Thais than foreigners making up the customers in many gogo bars, the need to wear condoms was more understood than in most Asia countries early in the pandemic. I always felt that prior to Bangkok becoming known as a gay sex destination, Manila with its gay clubs like Coco Banana and huge, barn-like 690 Retiro Strip with its seemingly endless stream of naked and near-naked boys attracted more foreigners. For anyone still in the closet it was first Asian paradise.

  4. If there is a flip side to the anxiety and pain--and for some, wasted years of suppression--there remains the fact that many of us would have never made our way to Thailand as a way of escaping the psychic straitjacket that ruled our lives for far too long. Irregardless of where we're from, that's the commonality that many of us here share. Younger men who grew up in a different era may have difficulty in appreciating what harm bigots can do, even when those bigots are close family members. It's only when someone unexpectedly open up about it (and that seems to occur when the topic is about something else altogether) that we acknowledge that we're more alike than we are different. So if the forum can serve as a vehicle of catharsis, so much the better.

  12. People change as they grow older. I had a 1.5 year long stay in Thailand 7 years ago. It was fun, but I got homesick, I think I actually prefer living in a familiar environment where I know exactly where to get things I want, and where I can communicate with anyone, and I know exactly how to get things done, and no double pricing(rent, real estate...etc) to foreigners. I am less horny and less adventurous now, so I think it's a good option to retire in my home in the U.S., and I have the money to enjoy a good quality life here anyway. I can always visit Thailand, it is just a 13 hour flight away (business class).

  13. you got it right. We shouldn't lose from eyesight fact that all freedoms we enjoy now one day may be taken away , swept by bigoted wave. Impossible one may say, but then look at what happened with abortion rights in the USA not to mention almost complete silencing gays in Russia. While we enjoy what we have we should be vigilant

  14. Your post has awakened some memories for me, not all of them pleasant. The steps I took to hide my feelings (not my actions, I hasten to add) embarrass me in recollection. At the same time, I was aware of two associates at work who, I believed at the time, were harbouring similar secrets. They both married and had children. I thank God for Pattaya every day of my life. To sit in Panorama of an evening a, surrounded by like-minded guys, and watch the go go dancers joking and making eyes at us on their way to work, with an evening of fun ahead...if I could choose where to spend eternity, it would be there. Younger posters may find it hard to comprehend just how liberating Pattaya was to my generation, who had spent some of the best years of our lives in the closet.

    Gigolo Erotic House

Here are my observations based on 2 visits last month (Friday and a Saturday a few weeks later). Both nights were busy. Full house/all tables busy from around 11 PM (Saturday a bit later). Entry is 15 mil until 11PM; 20 mil after 11 PM. Drinks/beverages are reasonably priced, e.g. a Club Colombia beer is 10 mil. The price for a "private show" behind the curtain is advertised at 60 mil but no first hand experience on what is actually included. The dancers/strippers vary on each night but many seem to come on a regular basis/each night. The guys will approach you for a hand shake/to say hi and small talk; in general they try to interact with the guests and are friendly and encourage touching/light groping, which should be appreaciated with small tips (2 or 5 mil note). Very few speak English so try to get by in Spanish. The guys vary in appearance from very masculine muscle guys to younger lean/fit boys with more boyish bodies (so there should be someone for every taste). In general, I find the strippers hot/looking great and sexy in their small speedos/briefs (although certainly not all of them are of my taste). The guys advertised on the webpage have not been updated, so don't expect to find the guys you have seen online to actually be there on a given night As stated above there will be a fuck show on Fridays around/after midnight (but it was nothing spectacular IMO; I enjoyed the guys dancing on the stage more); I didn't see any fuck show on Saturday (but I might have left too early). As suggested above many of the guys will open to share their Whatsapp details, so just ask if you fancy a guy and would like to connect. From personal experience, the guys I interacted with in Whatsapp subsequently were prepared to meet for private sessions at your hotel/apartment or their room (at a price of course; to be negotiated so don't accept their initial 200-300 mil offer!) In general, I enjoyed my time there (as I did in the past) and would love to go back. The ambience is very nice and the staff/guys are friendly. If you dislike loud music bring earplugs. The area (a little North of the main parts of Gaychapi) is in general safe and walkable at night, but make sure you don't cross the nearby main through road (Ave Caracas, with Transmilenio bus lanes) by accident at night.

    Report from Medellin

Hi Guys, Per my pre-trip report, M - who reached out to my in-advance profile on GayRomeo - turned out to be at least as good as hoped for. Since he is non-commercial-sex boyfriend material, I wont be sharing anything sexual about him. He is 29; exactly my type; and a great conversationalist with amazing general knowledge. Unfortunately (for me), he started on a new job on Friday, so our time together is limited to his off-hours. However, beyond sexcapades, there are some points that might interest members here. 1 - Ferecho: On my first morning here, before meeting M, I wanted to try out Ferecho. [The proccess has already been detailed in previous threads.] I sent a whatsapp msg, and recieved circa 100 fotos (and a few vids). 85% were clothed and therefore of no interest. I asked for the faces of the nudes that I liked; the guy at the other end matched a few of the clothed with some nudes; and I narrowed it down to 2 options. He quoted 150 - to which I agreed, but after a couple of minutes disappointed me by msging that both were not responding. My and their loss. I m a bit surprised that the guy exhibited no marketing motivation, no solicitation, no follow-up. Either incompetence or business doing great..... 2 - hotel cedulla process: During the first four days I stayed at the Gallery hotel in the Centro. All my hotel reservations were double, and M just went thru the process. For my first night at Du Park hotel in Poblado, I was joined by another chico - J (more on him later). I noticed that the receptionist not only zeroxed his ID, but also added his fingerprint (havent read here about this requirement). The next day, when M returned to my embraces, he wasnt asked for the fingerprint. It might mean nothing, or the explanation might be the difference in their appearance. J wore torn jeans and half buttoned shirt; M - his (rather elegant) hotel job uniform... 3 - J - my plan B: A member here published a thread a couple of months ago, detailing his good experience with a for-pay all exclusive 24/7 companion. I PMed him, asking for matchmaking; he vetted me; asked and received J's permission; and sent me his number. I mention this, because of a rather heated discussion in the forum about not sharing info in order to avoid harrasment of chicos by trolls. I expressed the opposite view, and m glad to offer this experience as defense exhibit #1. I call on all of you NOT to totally 'outlaw' matchmaking. PS - I m not mentioning the member's identity here, bcs I havent pre-discussed this post with him. 4 - hotels: Du Park hotel is recommended. As mentioned above, given my double rsrvation - no prblm bringing in dfrnt chicos. [At my request, they gave M a second key.] Dont know what wld have happened if it was a single rsrvation; they might have demanded payment. As mentioned above, no prblm at Gallery hotel either. However, for non-sex reasons, I m not rcmnding it wholeheartedly. Pros: in the Centro area, for those wishing to better know the area, and to be close to Ferecho and other sex venues; VERY cheap - $24 per night; immaculately clean. Cons - an accumulation of issues in a 3 stars hotel: even the quiet rooms get early car noise; minimal brkfst; room - no chairs, little place to put stuff, the sink in the rom itself constructed to splatter the floor; tiny shower - no space for dual showering. That's it for hopefully-useful info. Adding a pic of eye-candy, and two more by way of explanation. These guys perform acrobatics at traffic light, hoping that waiting drivers wld pay. They hardly ever do. I talked with the group and with the solo: 5 hours a day earns them 40,000 = $9. The solo told me it pays his living. Almost all r from Venezuela, and surprised me by saying they dont feel local hostility.

  26. From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon Starting in September 2022, anybody rich enough can have a Thai digital work permit automatically awarded by the Department of Employment. Under the 10-year Long Term Residence Visa (LTRV), high-potential foreigners including top-flight executives, serious investors, hi-tech innovators, ageing retirees and even the idle-rich are welcome. They are targets of the government’s program to entice affluent aliens to boost the post-covid economy. The definition of affluent varies according to the application category. Basically, if you think one million baht is a fortune, forget the idea. LTRV is managed by the cash-conscious Board of Investment and not by embassies or the immigration bureau. Further employment attractions of the LTRV are that holders can work legally without the former requirement of a ratio of one foreign permit for four Thais in the company. High-flyers will benefit from a flat-rate income tax of 17% instead of the 35% charged on income greater than US$140,000, although they will still need to fill in an annual tax form. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, spokesman for the Board of Investment, explained that he expected most applicants to be people working in hi-tech industries such as electric vehicles, biotechnology and electronics. Some already have the four-year Smart visa, which doesn’t require a separate work permit and is clearly in direct competition with LTRV. In recent years, the once-draconian Thai work permit rules – which once even cast doubt on whether painting your neighbor’s fence as a favour might be legal as it removed a Thai’s right of employment – have become far softer. Two royal decrees of 2017 actually abolished large chunks of the Alien Workers Act of 2008 and, for the first time, legalized (without the need for a permit) attending conferences or business meetings. Not to mention “emergency” working under 15 days and participating in sports or cultural events. As is typical in Thai legislation, there is scope for argument. Whether company directors or voluntary workers can rest easy is debatable. Suffice it to say that there haven’t been reports of any prosecutions of those groups lately. Instead, immigration police and Labour Department investigators have concentrated on specific groups of offenders. Permit-less foreign teachers remain vulnerable in certain schools which promise a work permit but never seem to get round to it. The owners are anxious to reduce their tax liability on salaries, but jealous rival schools sometimes make a complaint. Also at risk are foreigners seemingly taking jobs from Thais. Recently in Phuket, locals complained bitterly that the island’s entertainment and hospitality industries had been virtually taken over by aliens on tourist visas or even with overstay status. Press reports did not indicate the nationalities of the offenders who may have been unregistered Asians. Another ambiguous group are digital nomads for whom there is no specific visa in Thailand. Most survive on tourist visas and are left untouched by the authorities as long as they are not publicly reducing the earning potential of Thai nationals. The Board of Investment is keen on attracting remote workers and its website trumpets a survey designating Bangkok as the world’s second-best location. But whether most nomads will be interested in the LTRV with its attendant bureaucracy and need to prove a high income is far from clear. So it is still broadly true that working in Thailand requires a non-immigrant business visa and a work permit. But it’s by no means entirely true.

  27. From Bangkok Post People are being warned to remain vigilant against websites imitating the homepages of government agencies with the intent to steal sensitive data and carry out financial scams. Cybercriminals are hosting fake government websites to intercept people’s data or even hack into their mobile devices, deputy government spokeswoman Rachada Dhnadirek said on Friday. Thai government website URLs only end in “.go.th” and not “.com”, she said. Continues at https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2367413/public-warned-against-fake-government-websites

It is open. But: Yesterday around 4 pm only 2 boys available, after msg I saw a third one. Do I remember correctly before Covid the guys were posing in shorts in front of you and they were on the muscular side of the universe? Now they wear a very stylish suit with long pants and long sleeves, so you have to judge everything from the face alone. I think that concept is totally going in the wrong direction. One of the 2 guys was a goodlooking cute twink, the other one a 30+ hard to jugde what was hiding underneath the clothes.

In the link above you will find link to QC code https://lin.ee/0bEVlWQ and you can join them on Line using that. I just did yesterday. So far they did not send me anything other than introductory welcome message. before closure they specialized in hunky masseurs, it's why I'm one of those looking for the to re-open hoping they will stay that course. It was one of shops on more expensive side, 1000 massage 1500 min. tip. as for experiences , like most shops it varied depending to whom you talk but I was lucky one and invariably was leaving premises very happy every time. M, Jack, Tim, Tik and few more were outstanding. On personal level Senso along with Arena were only two gay places where I had goosebumps on approach, don't ask me why. Even in May when I know surely shop is still closed when passing by to my hotel I noticed increased heart beat. It must be underground river or something , lol.

    Thinking about the past

Times will always change whether we like it or not, sadly. Switching to Bangkok, I always thought the best gogo bar was Barbiery directly across Suriwong from Soi Twilight. It started up in the mid-1980s and was always packed - mostly with Thais - at the weekends. It must have had around 100 boys working there, all seemingly enjoying themselves, and great shows which again those taking part seemed to thoroughly enjoy. Indeed, there was a sense that everyone was having fun in so many of the bars in "those days". For whatever reason, Barbiery changed location to a modern building opposite Nature Boys around 2000. Compared to its earlier incarnation, it was a disaster and died less than 2 years later. So sad! Even earlier, I have written before of my first favourite bar being Apollo which i discovered in early 1980. It was located on the right side at the end of Silom Soi 4 (above where Sphinx restaurant was later to appear). As was to happen when the original Twilight moved to its location at the end of Soi Twilight, at around 9:30 pm the boys would all take off their underwear and dance naked for the rest of the evening. For those interested, there is a fascinating thread of the early years of Soi Twilight over on sawatdee. It's a long thread but a great read. https://sawatdeenetwork.com/v4/showthread.php?21487-History-of-Soi-Twilight I'm factionally older and I still work, but I work for myself and I am fortunate that I have no set hours and no set schedule. I have had a great career which for the most part I really loved. I enjoy keeping in touch and working occasionally even though retired. I would find life quite boring without that.

    2nd & last pre-trip report

Hi Guys, I'll arrive tmrw night in Medellin, for two weeks. In due course will report here about the touristic aspects. As for sex, if things go as planned - I might have very little to share. Per my report three weeks ago, I'm in a rather intense communication with a guy (henceforth M) who saw my Travel profile in GRomeo. M seems boyfriend material; very able to hold a cnvrsation; excited about hanging out with me; and has neither mentioned money nor hinted at it. I'm well aware that this could all b a show, but hey - at least I know he prbbly doesn't have any crmnl intentions; he emailed me the CV he's now sending out in search for a job. There r good reasons why I'm sure it's not fake. Anyway, if we hit it off, there'll b VERY little sex and tell... Plan B is a per-pay 'guide plus', introduced to me by one of the mmbrs here. He isn't very engaging, but he will certainly do. And then of course there'll be all the guys on the apps. Already established whatsapp cntct with Ferchos and Sillon Rojo; have hotel rsrvations in Centro, Poblado, Laureles; and the updated detailed prgrm for the flower festival is out. Medellin, here I come! Thank u all for the infobase here, and for answering or tolerating my too many questions. If anyone is Medellin and wants to meet up, I'll b happy to buy the first drink. Safe and happy travels and huntings.

  41. The comforts of sitting 'up front' are really nice, but I get from point A to B just as fast in an economy aisle seat for a thousand bucks less. But I spend maybe half of that by going a day early, find a gorgeous, comfy 5* hotel, have a great relaxing massage, an exquisite meal in a Michelin starred restaurant and then sleep off my jet lag for 10-12 hours. The other half I then use for half a dozen offs during the week. In MY mind I come out way ahead.

The jaunt included a lunch on Phi Phi in which we found ourselves forced to share a table with a couple whose disdain was palpable. We made our excuses, as they say, and left. it was the last time that we took a group tour.

  43. Day 6.5: There is such a thing as too much technology, or A Numazu’s Guide on How to Not Experience Tawan There are a few things I carry with me on travel that I can’t live without. Apple Airtags (GPS trackers) are essential, and I have one on every piece of luggage, backpack, wallet, passport folio, and even in my car when I park it at the airport parking lot, so I can use my iphone to track all my belongings on any given time. Saved my bacon a few times when I left my wallet at home for example, and my iphone pings me saying it is not with me, or whenever the airline loses my luggage, at least I know where it was left, and can track its journey back to me. Having a power bank is also essential, for times when my cellphone dies and I need a quick jump, or if there are not enough outlets in a hotel room, and with my ever growing number of technology pieces that travel with me – cellphone, tablet, work laptop, wireless headphones, smart watch etc etc etc, having my power mobile is also essential. But sometimes having technology could screw you over. At Suvarnabhumi Airport, as we disembark from our plane and head over to domestic baggage claim, Tiago and I were just chattering away, trying to figure out the remaining things we wanted to in the 3 days remaining I had left in Thailand. We get to baggage claim 2 and see a Bangkok Airways agent waiting in front of it, with a piece of paper with two last names on it. My stomach turned. One of the last names was mine. “I’m Numazu,” I tell the agent. The agent apologizes, and proceeds to say that my luggage was randomly inspected back at our original destination, and they found my power bank inside. The agent then said that they could not put the bag in the plane without taking out the power bank, and needed my permission to take it out of the bag, so the rest of the bag can fly to BKK, so they just waited till the plane landed to tell me. I asked him if it was at all possible to have informed me while I was waiting to board the plane. I remember waiting 45 minutes to embark, so it would have been more efficient if they could’ve informed me then. The agent said he didn’t know if they did a notification of not. We were lead to the Bangkok Airways baggage office which was just next to baggage claim. While the agent left us to get some forms, I looked at my phone to use the GPS to track my bag. Yup, sure enough, it was still there at the previous airport. I was at least relieved that I knew where it was and I could track it. There is no worse feeling than having lost luggage. The agent went back with a form. I began writing my information on the form. “For telephone number, I have a US number, do you need a Thai number?” I ask. The agent confirms, so I look at the phone for contacts and put down Tiago’s Thai number. Thank goodness for having that. I put in the address of our AirBNB. As I give the form back to the Agent, the agent asks what I wanted to do about the power bank and my bag. Since I need my clothes and stuff I ask him if the bag can get on the next flight to BKK. He informs me that I can get the bag today, because there is another flight arriving in 2 and a half hours from our origin, so it can make the journey to BKK then, but they need to take out the power bank. I tell him to leave the damn power bank there and put the bag on the next plane. The agent then asks me if I will wait for the bag at the airport or have it delivered to the house. I turn to Tiago and asks him what to do. Tiago says since I can track the bag that just having the bag delivered will enable us to at least spend the time at the house instead of the airport, since it was going to be a 3 hour wait. I tell the agent that delivery is our option. The agent informs me that the delivery fee was 500 baht. Since it was my fault, I gladly pay the fee. The agent takes the money, gives me a receipt and a copy of the paperwork, and tells us that the bag will most likely be delivered at midnight. I thought this will work great, as we can have dinner, see a boy show at 10:30 PM, and then go home after that to receive the bag. So we make our way to the taxi stand. At the ride home Tiago takes my hand, as he perceives that I am worried about the bag. Every once in a while I check my phone to see if my bag is still where it was, or if it is magically finding its way to the house. It was still where it was. Tiago started yawning and says he is hungry. Tiago suggests we get something delivered at home instead of going out to dinner, and if we can get it now while in the taxi, so we don't need to wait for it at home that long. So I look for some options on Grab and settle for McDonalds, which was a treat that Tiago and I partake of once in a while. Tiago is looking at my phone as I scroll through the burger options. He finds it interesting that there is fried chicken offered at McDonalds here, so he asks for some of that and a Cheeseburger without pickles. Our order is 541 baht ($15): We get home, and 10 minutes later I get a call from the delivery guy saying he is at the house gate with the order. That was fast. And all the items in our order arrived in good condition, which is great. Tiago and I chow down (we have been pretty hungry). I was still worried about my luggage and I keep checking my phone to see where it is (it hasn’t moved), and Tiago always assures me that it will arrive today. It was only 7:30 PM so Tiago recommended that we take a nap so I can relax a bit and forget about the bag. Tiago always knows how to calm me. With AC in full blast we take that needed nap. At 9:30 the alarm goes off and I immediately look at my phone. Success! The bag is now in Suvarnabhumi! The smile on my face told Tiago the news. He takes my phone to see for himself. He then makes us both coffees and then we shower to get to our bar for the night, Tawan. Old map, still interesting: We take a Grab taxi and it had Tawan as one of the locations. Familiar tout at the door. I was curious to see Tawan in its new digs. I’ve heard that it was a smaller space than previous location. Upon entering I see a single row of seats to the right, and the stage to the left. It was indeed small. We were lead to the set of chairs towards the back, close to the bathrooms. There were some muscular boys sitting on our chairs but were quickly shooed away by one of the staff. I am quickly reminded what made me like this bar in the first place. Muscular guys in skimpy underwear running around the place. Some of them were flexing onstage, some were milling about, some were sitting with customers, and others just in the back with us, sitting down. There was probably about 15 boys in total. Not a lot but I figure enough for me, from the looks of it This bar was probably the singular bar that made me want to visit out Thailand. I was always curious about all the Bangkok boy bars, but Rush’s Bangkokbois blog (@ggobkk now I remember extensively reading it, once I googled it) has heavily featured Tawan, and it had captured my imagination ever since. And the bar has delivered on its promise of muscular boys to have sex with. So I kept going to Tawan. Even when the sauna Clube 117 in Rio de Janeiro came into my life, and thus replacing Tawan as my main source of good looking muscular guys, and the sex was superior to anything that Tawan could give me (i.e. having bottoms for starters), Tawan would still be an occasional haunt of mine. Even after Moonlight and Jupiter have eclipsed The Sun in my muscular Asian dreams. The show started, but I don’t remember any of it. I wasn’t paying too much attention to the action onstage as I was always looking at my phone to see where my luggage was. I can get pretty obsessive about things. Tiago, on the other hand, was reacting pretty openly on what was happening onstage. Gasping at the S&M parts, fascinated at the too perfect and pretty drag queen, and when the chuck wow session began, who could not believe his eyes. “Why are they jacking off?” he asks me. I tell him to notice the people with a collection cans asking for tips. “They are asking for tips, and if there is enough money collected, they will cum.” Tiago could not believe. “Fucking Thailand, man!” he exclaims. "Well the, put some money in!" Tiago excitedly tells me. I fish out 100 baht to add to the pot, to help hasten someone to cum, and to gross out Tiago more. After a few minutes, someone does cums, and Tiago watches jizz fly out from one muscular guy’s penis and land on one of the tables that was occupied by customers. I hope it missed the drinks. Or maybe the customers were into that. The stage is now so close to the seats that this was possible, as opposed to before that the tables were far enough that cum will just fall to the floor. #Tawan problems. Tiago was enjoying every minute of it. I check my phone and gasp. The luggage was mobile! And approaching Silom! And it was only 11 PM! I map out the location and see that it was 10 minutes away! I begin to panic. Should we leave and go back to the house to pick it up? I didn’t want to cut our time at Tawan. A few minutes later Tiago’s phone rings. Maybe it was the delivery driver that had our bag. Tiago hands me his phone and I go to the bathroom to answer it. It was indeed the driver. He tells me he is almost at the AirBNB. I tell him that we were not there, but if he could drive to Soi Than Tawan, we can meet him here. He agrees and hangs up. 5 minutes later he calls again, and upon answering tells me he is at the curb of the Soi. I tell Tiago that the bag has arrived. I quickly pay for our drinks and we leave Tawan. I wanted to spend more time there but this is more urgent. Sure enough the driver was there. He was in a van, no doubt delivering left or lost luggage all over Bangkok. He confirms that I was who I was, and then opens his van and produces my precious bag. I breathed a sigh of relief. Tiago then tells me to go back in Tawan to finish up the show. He will take the bag to the house and then come back to Tawan. He knows that I wanted to spend more time in the bar. He knows me very well by now. I fish out 200 baht out of my pocket, since Tiago did not have any Thai money yet, so he can get a taxi to the house. There are several taxis in the area, so we flag one down and I showed the driver the Thai directions of the AirBNB that was left by the owner. Tiago was on his way. So next post, I'm not gonna let technology ruin my time, is the rest of my time in Tawan, ALONE…

  44. I hope you mean it, I read my old reports once- twice a year and I think they are bit too dry in comparison of other's writings but that's my style I guess. Not dwelling on setbacks is also my style and on vacations like those it's easy as usually next day or even next guy or meeting with our members brings consolation. Yes there were few but somehow almost all were mitigated. Guy buying drinks for his friend on my account performed very well on close encounter in the room, two massages without afters at least were good massages and waiting for inevitable which did not materialize had it's moments too. One LT which at first I considered epic disaster after I come to my senses with help of member who put me in place, on further reflection turned out not to be bad at all, just a case of exceeded expectations exclusively on my side, so really as you said above - minor issues if at all and certainly overshadowed by many exciting and very pleasant moments. Only regret I have is not employing that Grindr masseur more often but whose fault was that ? Just mine. Obvious case that at times WE SHOULD think with our cock indeed , leaving head just to carry our hat.

  45. Day 21 In the morning no trace either one of us two being bored or hungry so we just brushed our teeth and returned to vertical position doing a lot of romantic stuff and talking . It was well past 10 when we decided to call meeting over, tip was paid with some extra bonus and we marched to world famous for my last breakfast this trip. Usually when I dine with boys there, they are sitting facing me, L decided for some reason to sit just beside. So when I got this extremely bright idea in some moment of enlightenment I could easily whisper to his ear “ are we going back to the room?, I’ll tip you extra” only to receive smile and nod in response. It looks that my last day will be spent almost all in bed, not that I’m complaining. Back to the room for more gymnastics and some talk. In meantime I discretely responded to X question if I want to see him today , unfortunately no. I liked his classy response “ thank you for supporting me all other days”. Equally discretely I confirmed to K that I will see him at 4 as agreed previously and as result around 3 pm. I initiated parting rites after what was longest off I ever had in Thailand. I did it with bit of heavy heart as it was nice to spent all that time with L and hope for repeat in the future. I kept my side of bargain and tipped him again for that not so short short time after breakfast and even walked him to the Silom rd where we shook hands farang way. At 4 I could see from my window K’s motorbike parking at front and minute or two later we were embracing again. With 4 LT and 3 ST he was staple of my trip and for me he was hunk of my dreams with no attitude, never rushing and smooth but steely body of semi-god, muscular but not overbuilt. No doubt he realized that I liked him so shortly after arrival he jokingly tried to discount his popularity with me showing me picture of motorcycle and telling that if I buy him that machine he will give his motorbike to his father. But after I found very good answer “ I will not buy it because I don’t have motorcycle myself “ he turned everything into joke. It was not out of this world request since I know former Tawan guy later transplanted to Jupiter whom I offed dozen times who got big machine from his Chinese lady client, I even saw her in the bar not to mention I was awarded trip to Hualampong by that vehicle. No, that phishing this time did not spoil my experience and we had normal fun as every time before. At one point Jason1975 reported arrival in BKK and I told him K and me will be dining at G”Bangkok so he can join us. And in fact shortly after we sat down there I heard my name, Jason came to say hallo and shake hands and I had impression in K he liked what he saw asking me where I got him from. Being discreet gentleman I whispered where from. Dining at soi 4 was not good idea today as all Pride attendees descended on the soi so place was noisy and very busy and I was glad I had my own, much more quiet celebration in my room. Another sad good bye today but I always maintain one can’t return without going away first. K went to his bar on his old motorbike , I walked to hotel to pack and since I travel lightly I did not take too much time but spent rest of time on my tablet until time came to roll my suitcase to Chong Nonsi. Night guard waved me good bye smiling knowingly and I don’t even try to guess what he thought of me but who cares. I was in airport bit too early , everything went smoothly and flight to Zurich where I had connection was uneventful . We arrived quite early and it was very refreshing after 3 weeks in tropics to finally get some crisp cool air on the terminal’s roof. 22nd trip was over, for a change after arriving home I almost did not have jet lag at all, no idea why but it was nice bonus. Thank you for all your likes and comments and now for a while I will be much more quiet here on the forum.
