  1. I've been in Bangkok for a couple of days now, and can I just say that it is so surreal being back after not being here for about 2.5 years. This report will be a little disjointed, reporting on various aspects rather than a day-to-day account of events. Hotel: I'm staying at the Tarntawan in one of the corner suites and it is quite roomy with a separate living area and bedroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, or should I say, a step-up shower as you need to step up quite high into the shower. The hotel is definitely showing it's age, but is still functional and located well. It is a little dark, even though I have 2 windows, and the view is not super amazing (but I'm not really here for the view). Arrived to a scene of a family of tourists that were going off at the receptionist, no idea why, but apart from that it has been pretty non-eventful here and the staff seem friendly enough. Massage: I've been to Prime twice so far, and it is top quality. Both times I had a 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai massage, which were great, but today I think I may not go back as the guy yesterday went pretty hard and I am still a little sore and need some time to recover. It is 500 baht for the 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai and I've been tipping the guys the same amount as the massage cost. The place runs like a well-oiled machine and smells really nice. Tawan: I went here on my first night, and to be honest, the guys at Tawan aren't necissarily my type (apart from that one 'smaller' guy) but I was curious and wanted to expand my horizons so to speak. I caught the 10:30 show and it was pretty standard stuff - lip syncing drag queens/lady boys, big cock show, fucking show etc. Some nice dicks, but it was a shame that they covered their faces during the big cock show. Anyway a guy came and sat with me near the beginning of the night and was angling for an off, and I decided to off him for short time after the show. A little older (which I don't mind at all), he said he would take care of me and can kiss, suck, fuck etc. Anyway, back in the room, it was all pretty average to be honest, yeah he kissed, but very minimally and same with sucking. The fucking was okay though, but nothing to write home about. Anyway, I left 2000 baht for him on the bed while he was having a shower, and he wanted 3000. If the whole experience had been amazing then yeah I probably would have paid up but it was pretty average at best. I countered with 2500 as I didn't want to argue which he accepted. Anyway, just chalking it all up to experience and I understand that I'm not going to connect with everyone. I walked down the Tawan street a couple of times going to Prime and he was sitting out the front, so I just waved politely. Dreamboys: My best off in 2019 was from dreamboys and the guy was attractive, a little muscly but not overly big, had tattoos, and was passionate. We've been in contact intermittently on Line, just short things like he would send me a happy valentines day message and I would send him a happy songkran message, stuff like that. Anyhow, I went to dreamboys and immediately recognised him. When he saw me he had this big goofy grin, but later said he wasn't sure if it was me or not. After his rotation, he went and sat near the bar area (later he said to see if it was me) and I waved him over and he remembered me vividly, the good time we had and where I stayed last time. Anyway, he seemed genuinely happy to see me and was really affectionate in the bar (even kissing as well) and wasn't shy either. I watched the first 2 shows (there was one more but I was getting tired), and it was the usual stuff. The highlights included the part where so many guys had their dicks out, I was in heaven, and the fucking show was so hilarious - they just got into these really weird and ridiculous positions. I laughed out loud. There were so so many guys in the rotation that I could have easily offed though, and I possibly will. After the second show, we went back to my hotel (hand in hand) and if last time was passionate, then this time was even more. He loved to kiss which was great, and we even had a cuddle afterwards. I gave him 3000 baht for short time as he deserved it, plus he was sitting with me the whole time in the bar (apart from his section in the show), and I may see him again at some point. This is what I am after - experiences and connections like these. Made me forget all about the Tawan guy! I check out of here on Sunday or Monday (I forget now) and haven't decided where to go next - I'm thinking possibly Chiang Mai. It is good though to see that the bars are slowly returning to normal and I look forward to more experiences.

  3. These trip reports about Phnom Penh bring back so many wonderful memories of past visits. I have stayed at A&P on many occasions and thoroughly recommend it, although when I was there the staff never walked around in their underwear. I used to go to nearby Hatha Khmer Massage every evening to meet up with Mr Bubblebutt - the cutest guy ever with the most magnificent butt imaginable. We flip-flopped for an hour - the price was US$45 which included entry fee, massage fee and $25 tip for the guy. Then I'd head off into town for dinner and then walk straight to Space Bar where I spent the rest of the evening. And yes, most of the guys there are straight but some are up for some discreet fun in the bar. One of the waiters sat there with me every night and we had long groping sessions under the table. He was quite well-hung and hard as a rock but unfortunately, I never got to see his equipment. Min, your reports have now got me thinking about a return visit.

  4. It's exactly why I prefer to fix financial issues before taking off from bar. Doesn't guarantee performance but at least joy killing haggling is avoided. 3000 for short time seems very generous unless guy is built like Adonis and performs very enthusiastically in the room. Clearly guys are trying to make up for the lost time

  5. @ichigoYou mentioned that you're not going to connect with everyone and I think that's important for many readers to learn. I think with certain Tawan guys, it's easy to confuse their initiative with interest and connection, but that's not necessarily the case. My best Tawan experience this trip was last night with a guy who was not particularly aggressive and going for the off while I was in the bar. However he did make comments about really liking my face and smile...and that translated into an unforgettable experience in the bedroom.

  6. @vinapuAccept the widespread and well deserved praise for your illuminating reports on alphabetizing and knitting and maintaining a stamp collection in a humid environment! Past experience with report writing allows me to be impressed by the effort you put in to hold our interest and maintain some/a lot of suspense. While I am attempting to plan a 3 week visit in September, I am sad that I could not be in Smile Land when so many grand gentlemen descended on the sois with the goal of helping the Thai economy recover. I'd take my hat off (if I wore one) to you and @paulsf @anddy and @reader. Its also a joy to find new reporters @Minand @jason1975 have been inspired by you to add new enlightenment to the Forum. Hopefully, there can be a gathering of whatever the Scots would call this clan, but until then may the reports keep coming, though I suspect none (well maybe my next one) will equal yours. Thanks

  7. Report may not be that fun filled as I left many things unspoken about but rest assured trip was, nothing new here. From what I saw in December and now, in Jun and what members on the ground are telling me it looks that scene in both BKK and Pattaya is going back to normal at pretty fast pace so when you visit you will like what you see, I'm sure. Not everything will be the same but it's not necessarily bad thing. I like new New Twilight bar and also Tawan in it's more intimate incarnation . Foodland restaurant now has 7 1/2 Michelin stars up from 5 in bad old days even if price of breakfast stays almost the same. Yes tips went up a bit, in some cases quite a bit but with a little of assertiveness and firmness they can be accepted at lower level. If guy doesn't yield it's all the same prescription as always - gnash your teeth and pay hoping for the best or move on as it's plenty of fish in the sea and hope for even better. All I can say is that in several cases I forked out over market with exception of one ( in another one you helped to straighten myself out ) which I already told about I'm happy to feel that I got my money worth ( K,L, X, half alphabet ) or at least did not overpay excessively. Thank you for noticing my sizable contribution to Thai economy and I'm glad I did my part in times when support for guys was scarce although it needs to be a said that buy expenses was partially mitigated by very attractive hotel rates, in few cases still available as traffic is far from rebounding. When comes to food I'm undemanding and most of my food bill is for what boys ate , not me which always can be avoided simply by dining alone and offering them street or 7/11 food if they feel hungry. Reasonable and fair solution although not exactly my style as I don't believe somebody spending night at my place should go to bed hungry and be send hungry home in the morning. What I noticed this trip, not a single guy asked for taxi money, not that I would give them. Few lived nearby , one had car and quite a few motorsai. I'm ashamed to admit but both Covid years were financially very good for me , both with higher earnings and much lower spending - 21 month without travel mushroomed significantly my travel fund. Being low maintenance at home pays dividends when we travel so all I can say, for now Thailand can count on a bit more of my input. When fund will dry out then I will worry what to do as there are always there options, stay at home and keep accumulations or horror of horrors , recall existence of line of credit or finally try at least frugal vacations without bars and boys, with street food and cheap rooms in hotels with view of wall 1 meter from the window. It can be done as Thailand has own merits even with empty bed

  9. The bar owner is a lovely Spanish guy and his Cambodian partner works as the manager /part-time lady boy in the bar. I never got around to taking a guy from Space Bar; they are mostly straight although that normally doesn't worry me at all. Maybe it was because I had already had some very energetic sex earlier in the night at Hatha Khmer Massage , or maybe it was because it was too late and I was too drunk. I'd really love to go back to Space Bar but I wonder if it world be as much fun as it was before. BTW, a guy working there was also a pimp and offered to introduce me to someone for sex. I didn't take him up on his offer.

  10. My best experience with the stickers was when I was explaining rimming to a guy. To show he understood, he somehow found a perfect sticker of, iirc, the rabbit with two hands in front of its face with its mouth open. That got a chuckle out of me. Edit: Turns out it's not the rabbit. I did some digging in messages and found it. This is about as perfect a sticker as could exist for explaining rimming in simple terms.

  13. that won't work in my case because this is what I'm into anyways, older than 25 preferably it's why reception never bothers my guests with ID check in few cases it could work, not all of them are ladyboys after all reminds me visit to New Twilight last trip when owner , quite young and handsome guy told us " off 2 boys, get one free and that will be me" as for " I like girls " answer , no one else than famous Lucy in Lucky Boys told me' I'm a girl, take me" and THAT WAS SCARY!!!!

  14. (Part 4) To have a change of scene, I'm making a quick trip to Phnom Peng. Stayed in a centrally located hotel, close to a number of gay bars including the famous POC, Blue Chili and Heart of Darkness. My first time here so I booked a guide from Siam Roads for two night tours to gay places (tour time: 7pm to 12am, 49$ each tour). The night I landed, I checked Christian's list of gay massages in Cambodia (https://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2021/02/gay-massage-in-cambodia-2021.html) and found that Heco, a place highly recommended by a reader of his blog, is just 10 min walk from my hotel, so decided to pay it a visit. It's located right behind the Royal Palace. Staff speak very limited English. Just a simple question like "Can I see pictures of the boys?" took several attempts and still can't get across so I had to resort to Google translation (there was a farang, who looks like the owner, so I sought his help but turned out he doesn't speak English either). Finally staff showed me pictures of four guys on his phone and only one caught my eyes. "Sorry, he's out" (pointing outside) "Can you call him back?" Blank stare. After several more attempts and with help of the other boys on duty (all three of them), I finally got that it was the guy's day off and if I want him, I can come back tomorrow. Price-wise, massage here is pricy (20$ for 60min while only 10$ in other places). According to some report, masseurs expect 20$ tip for a happy ending and 30$ (if anal sex involved). I checked the list again and found the next nearest one is Hatha Khmer Massage in street 368 so decided to walk there. I usually prefer walking as it helps get my bearings of a new place and also complete my goal of at least 15K steps per day. When I reached the location shown on Google map half an hour later, I couldn't find the place, so I gave up and walked back to the hotel Fired Blued and talked to a cute boy. He asked for money, $40 for ST. I didn't really know if it was fair, but remember the tip guidelines above so counter with $30 for an hour. He okayed it. Since the boy can't meet before 5 pm and the next day I have a tour to go to at 7 pm, we scheduled it the day after. The next evening, I started my first night tour at 7 pm. Guide first took me to the only night market in Phnom Peng. We walked and talked about the local life on the way. There's nothing much to see in the market, so I tried some street food (for future references: don't. Every stall sells the same kind of food, which doesn't taste good and is also pricy. Guide told me he was shocked when he saw the bill. Then why didn't he tell me in the first place?) Then we booked a tuk-tuk via grab (to avoid being overcharged) back to the very place I couldn't find last night: Hatha Khmer Sauna and Massage. Guide couldn't find it either (first time for him too) so he asked for directions from a local boy. We found the place (no signage and very dark). The sauna part was already closed. Guide was like: what??? (he told me sauna would open until midnight and it wasn't even 9pm at that point). We walked over to the massage part (opened until 11pm, so it was still open when I walked there yesterday, I just didn't know how to find it) and this is an interesting part. We were led into a dark room with a curtain. Then they opened the curtain and the scene was impressive. There were about 20 guys standing in three rows behind a glass wall, all wearing only black boxers under flattering light. Mamasan asked me to choose. Despite a large number of guys, I couldn't find anyone I like. Many are quite big with a lot of tattoos. Some do look like they just murdered some customer somewhere and then came back here to murder some more. I know a certain member in this forum would be in heaven if he were in my shoes, so I discreetly tag him @vinapu. Guide checked his sources and found another sauna-massage place nearby. So we walked to Love Spa just a few blocks away in Street 350 only to see that customers are leaving and the place is about to close too. Turned out they don't have a fixed closing time. They open at noon and would close when there are only a few customers left. Entry: 10K riels (2.5$). I asked staff what should be busy time and they said it depends. Sometimes, customers come and see that there are not so many people around so they leave. In other words, it's busy when it's busy. Regarding masseurs, they only had two on duty and one look at them dashed all my hope for a massage with happy ending. We took grab tuk-tuk back to the center (it's really cheap, less than 1.5 USD each way) and stopped by HECO first. Again checked with the staff, this time the communication went smoothly as I have Guide as translator. They had 5 boys on duty today, 2 busy with customers, 3 available. Again the pictures on the phone, and again I pointed at the same guy yesterday, and again he was not in the house and I could come back the next day. I told Guide they told me exactly the same thing yesterday, and he passed the message. Turned out: to make sure he's here when I come, I need to make a booking. But I prefer to book only when I see the boy in person, so we left for Blue Chilli, about 3 min walk away. They have drag shows every Thu, Fri and Sat (closed on Sunday) at 11pm and the Cambodian mamasan (or manager/owner, I'm not sure) said their Queen troupe is the best in Cambodia. The bar was empty at that point but guy said if we come back around 10h30 pm, we would have to stand because it would be packed. Still early (9h30pm), I decided to move to POC nearby to check them out. Earlier, they did tap me on Grindr and their profile shows this info Boy shows means boys dancing in revealing clothes and currently they have only 3 coyote boys but staff told me they were not here tonight. So we went in. Tiny and empty, same as Blue Chilli. My cocktail drink cost 4.25 USD. Guide told me all the staff here are gay and can go with customers. You buy them drink (4.5 USD, boy gets 1 USD) and talk and negotiate the price. If you want to off them, bar fine is 10 USD. Just like in Thailand. There were 4 waiters milling around, 3 in uniforms and 1 in plain white t-shirt, who looks youngest and also cutest to me. I asked Guide how much boys expect for ST and LT. He said it depends on the boy, but ST should be 40-50$ while LT should be 60-100$, then added "For me, I would charge 100$". I don't know how to interpret that last comment so I just let it pass. So I waived the boy in plain white shirt over and offered him a drink. He speaks limited English but I had Guide with me, so no problem. 22 years old, 1m80 and 69 kg (a bit big and heavy for my taste but cute face, sweet smile and very nice eyes), from a nearby province. He still lives with his parents and travels to work by his motorbike (45min each way). He just started working here for about a month (having another day job with Amazon), with a salary of 170$ plus tips. That also explains why he dressed differently from other waiters: he's still on probation. So I asked the important question: does he go with customers and he said No, he just wants to earn tips by talking to them. He got several offers since working here but always turned them down. I looked questioningly at Guide, who earlier said all the staff here are offable. So I sought the boy's social contact, thinking maybe it's better and more discreet if I do the negotiation via messaging. Turned out he's indeed a newbie, no Blued, Hornet or Grindr accounts, doesn't even have Line. FB and Instagram only. I then tried another tactic, asking Guide to ask him why he didn't want to go with customers especially when he chooses to work in such a place. He said he doesn't want to go with local customers. I was like "I'm not Cambodian. You want to go with me?" I looked at the boy, who was embarrassed and averted his eyes and in turn looked at Guide. Guide was like "Come on!" Finally he slowly nodded, then said something in Khmer to Guide. Guide told me he said yes not just because of money but also because he likes me, so it's fifty-fifty. Then we moved to the part of price negotiation. He wanted me to make my offer first because he said he never had to deal with things like this before. Thinking about the last night deal, I said 40$ then Guide translated back (but I suspected he said something along that "everyone asks for 50, you should ask him for 50 too" line). So indeed the boy said he would go for 50$. Deal! To make sure that nothing wasn't lost in translation, I asked again if I really am his first customer. Confirmed, adding: he wasn't even sure what he's expected to do when with a customer. At that point, I had to ask if he slept with men before. Yes, got a boyfriend but already broke up, he was a bottom in that relationship. The "first customer" thing reminds me of one Thai boy who worked as a waiter in the old Jupiter (when it was still at the place where Moonlight now is). I offed him from the bar and had great time. He was a newbie, just started working at Jupiter and it looked like I was his first customer, fresh and nice, did whatever I told him to do and was undemanding. Then the second time when I told him to go straight to my hotel, I could tell his behavior changed. Asked for more money, asked for taxi fares, brought me a card with some English writing (most words misspelt, including my name) :), kept asking when I would see him again. Obviously, someone told him to do all kinds of stuff to win me over and more importantly get more money. He tried, but very awkwardly Back to the current situation. A group of young locals entered the bar just before show time and they all know Guide. So Guide picked the youngest and most small-built among them and literally pimped him to me as another option. I smiled and asked how much his friend wanted for ST. The expected answer: 50$. Then the POC show started a little late than 11pm, around the same time as the one in Blue Chilli. Since my waiter boy could only leave at the end of the show, we stayed to watch it. It was kinda meh. There was only one drag queen standing out to me, whom I tipped 2$ (as I saw someone tipped the performer before her 5000 riels or 1.25$). There was one boy dancer, who Guide said used to work with him in Toolbox before the bar closed down for good (he said Owner is back to Thailand now) and Guide appeared to pimp this one to me too. Boy is cute and I may consider if I didn't have the waiter boy first (but his dancing was all over the place, I wouldn't hire him to dance in bed). (to be continued)

  15. I have been waiting for the day where I could visit Thailand again, and in a week's time will be that day! I'm super excited. Leaving and entering my country has become quite straight forward, as has Thailand and I finally have some time. Applying for the Thai Pass was pretty straight forward, and even though I know it won't be required anymore from July 1, I will be arriving a few days beforehand. Starting and ending in Bangkok, I'll be keeping it flexible for 3 weeks and probably will visit Chiang Mai and Phuket too. The last time I was there was in December 2019, just before the pandemic, and I have been itching to go back for so long. Anyway, trip report to come at some point, just wanted to share my excitement!

    Air Fares to Thailand 2022

not a bad thing if they let passengers out to stretch their legs even if that means going back to the plane through security almost right away. I had it once in Osaka and still liked it. On another hand sitting in the idle aircraft while refueling is torture and should be reported to Hague or wherever International Criminal Court seats now

  18. I know what you mean, I was the same , circling around the block before decided to enter bar, sweating on approach to Senso or Arena but with with patient practicing I built mind frame that world inside of bar is different and I can be more brave while indoors there. I like my tuck and to this day I don't grasp idea of those money garlands some patrons are giving to boys - what's the purpose ? to elevate boy's standing ? or patron's ? I rather tuck that 1000 bill inside but I will not. 100 is ok but for more I should get more that just distant visual pleasure but that's just me. I like to observe reaction of boys tipped, some get a message that I may be interested and smile and approach afterwards, other collect money but still avoid eyesight and that's the message that my love is one sided.

Yes you are right most boys were happy with 1000 ST only the star boys expect to receive more than that back then.

  21. Ha ha, you make it seem as if the stickers were designed for us and our specific interactions.... if only! And judging by Gaybutton's reaction, the stickers only leave us more confused. If they were designed for us, the whole thing would be a major fail. Apparently, the stickers are major revenue-generators for LINE. Users buy sets and sets of them. And the revenue graph at https://www.statista.com/statistics/1227434/most-popular-messenger-apps-worldwide-by-monthly-iap-revenue/ comparing LINE with other messaging apps, is stunning. Other sources of revenue, such as business advertising, contributed a lot too. According to statista, LINE is the top revenue-grossing messaging app in 2021 even though it has big market share in only four countries: Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. In 2020, it had $1.5 billion in revenue (https://distinguished.io/blog/line-statistics-net-worth). (What's even more surprising from the graph is the absence of WhatsApp. It's not there among the top ten.)

  22. many thanks for your kind words Vinapu. I am happy to learn that my previous trip reports from many years ago helped you gain more joy from Thailand - and I believe that when us members take the painstaking time to prepare them the reward is knowing that there were found to be useful and maybe even changed someone's life (4 hands) :>)) Yes, I was in the background and silent for many years - my job became all consuming and took over my life and I did not have anymore trips to the LOS, that I decided to remain silent as I could not add anything of additional value to this forum. Now that I went into retirement - I hope to be more active in all of the various forums. However Vinapu, I do in fact have a lot to learn from you. I can say it in one word = COURAGE I truly envy your courage on how you are not afraid to approach the guys that you want and to perform the "Vinapu tuck" - even in front of the entire bar audience and staff - with the result of them applauding you and cheering you on. That takes courage!! I also see that it creates tremendous positive energy and camaraderie - and I really like that. ok, I look forward to finally meeting you.

  23. Singapore Air offers flights from NYC/Newark with only PE and Biz Class seating; no Economy except on the leg from Singapore to Bangkok. I don't recall that @tm-nyc specified only Economy. That said, there are some flights with multiple stops, via Europe, which include Economy seating. @tm-nyc does not provide enough info to give any good estimates as to costs, such as one way, round trip, departing date/return date. Round trip prices in PE can be quite reasonable at $1500 all depending on the dates. Economy about $1100. Hope this helps.

  24. From Bangkok Post State-run Government Housing Bank (GH Bank) is letting LGBTQ+ couples jointly take out a mortgage loan, said bank president Chatchai Sirilai. It is the first time the bank has introduced such a policy, with the aim of giving LGBTQ+ couples easier access to mortgage loans as part of its aim to help Thais own their own home. GH Bank previously limited co-borrowing to couples or persons with kinship relationships. Under the new policy, LGBTQ+ partners who live together can now jointly take out a mortgage loan. The bank has also launched a new mortgage package dubbed My Pride, offering the minimum retail rate minus 2.40% per year in the first three years. The maximum instalment period is 40 years. Customers can apply for the loan from now until Dec 30 this year.

Guys just doing a walk this early morning in Davao City , unfortunately I'm with a Pinoy boyfriend ..but ..already a young 19yo brown skinned shirtless construction worker wanted a picture with me ! Hottest smooth skin pecs & abs I have ever saw along with a young boyish face ,I gave him 100 pesos for a picture and I'm sure I could of got his number but I couldn't as I'm travelling with a Pinoy bf who gets jealous . Now let me say this morning I have spotted hot dark brown skin guys looking at me and I mean model types not street rough types I'm sitting in a outside cafe and 3 young guys hot looking walked across the zebra crossing nice designer clothes ,RayBan sunglasses etc ,one looked at me and pulled his zipper up & down ,I instantly got hard ,he was teasing me ,they are teasers here But they are all Top type guys or bisexual,I have yet to see girlish guys here. If I was by myself without my Filipino bf I could pick up guys easy for free I'm sure Unfortunately my bf is a 28yo top and like the most of Filipino boys is into older farang guys so 3 some with Filipino boys is out of the question

    Air Fares to Thailand 2022

Checking around for a three week visit in September. Until recently from the west coast of the US the routings were unsure or via Europe or the Gulf and the travel times were predicted to exceed 30 hours. Airfares were significant. Just this week there has been some air fare drops beginning n September and Eva has restored its SFO to BKK via a short stop in Taipei. Air Canada has also announced plans for a direct flight from Vancouver to BKK.

  31. I hope you mean it, I read my old reports once- twice a year and I think they are bit too dry in comparison of other's writings but that's my style I guess. Not dwelling on setbacks is also my style and on vacations like those it's easy as usually next day or even next guy or meeting with our members brings consolation. Yes there were few but somehow almost all were mitigated. Guy buying drinks for his friend on my account performed very well on close encounter in the room, two massages without afters at least were good massages and waiting for inevitable which did not materialize had it's moments too. One LT which at first I considered epic disaster after I come to my senses with help of member who put me in place, on further reflection turned out not to be bad at all, just a case of exceeded expectations exclusively on my side, so really as you said above - minor issues if at all and certainly overshadowed by many exciting and very pleasant moments. Only regret I have is not employing that Grindr masseur more often but whose fault was that ? Just mine. Obvious case that at times WE SHOULD think with our cock indeed , leaving head just to carry our hat.

  32. Bravo @vinapu an epic trip report and I enjoyed every day's account, I was particularly impressed that you never dwelt on any minor setbacks and disappointments and instead got on with the business of enjoying the next day to the full; that should be a lesson for us all on how to get the most out of our holidays.

  34. Day 21 In the morning no trace either one of us two being bored or hungry so we just brushed our teeth and returned to vertical position doing a lot of romantic stuff and talking . It was well past 10 when we decided to call meeting over, tip was paid with some extra bonus and we marched to world famous for my last breakfast this trip. Usually when I dine with boys there, they are sitting facing me, L decided for some reason to sit just beside. So when I got this extremely bright idea in some moment of enlightenment I could easily whisper to his ear “ are we going back to the room?, I’ll tip you extra” only to receive smile and nod in response. It looks that my last day will be spent almost all in bed, not that I’m complaining. Back to the room for more gymnastics and some talk. In meantime I discretely responded to X question if I want to see him today , unfortunately no. I liked his classy response “ thank you for supporting me all other days”. Equally discretely I confirmed to K that I will see him at 4 as agreed previously and as result around 3 pm. I initiated parting rites after what was longest off I ever had in Thailand. I did it with bit of heavy heart as it was nice to spent all that time with L and hope for repeat in the future. I kept my side of bargain and tipped him again for that not so short short time after breakfast and even walked him to the Silom rd where we shook hands farang way. At 4 I could see from my window K’s motorbike parking at front and minute or two later we were embracing again. With 4 LT and 3 ST he was staple of my trip and for me he was hunk of my dreams with no attitude, never rushing and smooth but steely body of semi-god, muscular but not overbuilt. No doubt he realized that I liked him so shortly after arrival he jokingly tried to discount his popularity with me showing me picture of motorcycle and telling that if I buy him that machine he will give his motorbike to his father. But after I found very good answer “ I will not buy it because I don’t have motorcycle myself “ he turned everything into joke. It was not out of this world request since I know former Tawan guy later transplanted to Jupiter whom I offed dozen times who got big machine from his Chinese lady client, I even saw her in the bar not to mention I was awarded trip to Hualampong by that vehicle. No, that phishing this time did not spoil my experience and we had normal fun as every time before. At one point Jason1975 reported arrival in BKK and I told him K and me will be dining at G”Bangkok so he can join us. And in fact shortly after we sat down there I heard my name, Jason came to say hallo and shake hands and I had impression in K he liked what he saw asking me where I got him from. Being discreet gentleman I whispered where from. Dining at soi 4 was not good idea today as all Pride attendees descended on the soi so place was noisy and very busy and I was glad I had my own, much more quiet celebration in my room. Another sad good bye today but I always maintain one can’t return without going away first. K went to his bar on his old motorbike , I walked to hotel to pack and since I travel lightly I did not take too much time but spent rest of time on my tablet until time came to roll my suitcase to Chong Nonsi. Night guard waved me good bye smiling knowingly and I don’t even try to guess what he thought of me but who cares. I was in airport bit too early , everything went smoothly and flight to Zurich where I had connection was uneventful . We arrived quite early and it was very refreshing after 3 weeks in tropics to finally get some crisp cool air on the terminal’s roof. 22nd trip was over, for a change after arriving home I almost did not have jet lag at all, no idea why but it was nice bonus. Thank you for all your likes and comments and now for a while I will be much more quiet here on the forum.

  35. (part 6) My last day in Phnom Peng, I had my second tour of gay life night with Guide. When I finished my online work around 4pm, I felt quite bored so I lined Guide to see if his dancer friend (mentioned in part 4) was available. Guide replied his friend also has daytime job (as a chef) and then a dance gig at some bar in early evening so can't meet before 9pm. A&P, where I was staying, doesn't have a gym (excepts a few hand weights lying around) so I couldn't work out for the last two days. Since I saw Love Spa has a full gym the last time I checked it out, I decided to set off early at 6pm to make use of their facility and lined Guide to meet me there at 7pm, the starting time of our tour. When I reached the spa, just 10 min walk from A&P, I saw so many motorbikes parked in- and outside. It looked like busy time. Indeed, there must be 100 or more people inside on a Sunday evening (doubled that of A&P on Saturday last night, which peaked at 9 pm with more than 50 customers). The biggest problem with Love Spa was that it was too dark inside, even in the shower and toilet areas. It was very easy for you to trip in those slippery areas too. After several near fall incidents and couldn't see anything, I gave up and just worked out in the gym, waiting for Guide. Guide was 15min late and we then moved to explore Hatha Khmer Sauna. I thought it would be next to Hatha Khmer Massage (which we visited 2 days ago) so we went back to Street 368. Still needed some time to find the place the second time around. This time I remembered to take a picture and you guys can see why. Below is the entrance with no signs. and here is the price list Turned out the sauna is on a different street, in fact, it is on the same street as Love Spa, just a couple of houses down. So we walked back to Street 350 and spotted the sauna quite easily this time (though still no clear signage, maybe they don't wanna attract attention). This sauna is bigger, but has fewer customers than Love Spa next door. We reached the place around 7h40pm and there were (based on the number of parked motorbikes) about 30 to 40 customers inside. Doorman told us they open at 2.00 pm and close at 9 pm so we had a little more than 1 hour to explore it. Entry is 3$ for locals and 4$ for foreigners. Guide at first didn't want to go in because he said he didn't like such places, but I talked him into it "Come on, try it so you would have hands-on (also dicks-on) experiences to share with your future customers". So we went in, went upstairs to the reception counter. Guide told me to keep my mask on and my mouth shut so we paid only 3$ each for entry It worked. I like this sauna better than Love Spa. It was still dark inside, but at least I could see something. And their dark maze on the upper floor was interesting. We separated at the entrance of the maze and the whole time I was there, my biggest scare was we ran into each other inside, didn't know it and then did the unthinkable to each other. That would be very unprofessional. Since the poor Guide has glaucoma in early stage he can't see very clearly in broad daylight, let alone in such dark places. So it was totally up to me to make sure we stayed professional and anyone I touched wasn't Guide. A few minutes inside, somebody touched me, I touched him back, first to make sure he wasn't Guide. Slim fit, well-developed chest (Guide skinny and no chest to write home about), flat stomach, smooth, not hairy, warm body, so I liked it. He also did the routine check to make sure I'm his type (we basically operated on the seeing-by-touching principle), then he gently guided me to a corner and we got down to business. It was pretty intense at first, but I got bored after a while since I can't see his face. He was wearing a mask even in such a dark place, only pulled it down a bit when he needed to use his mouth. Whenever I touched his face, trying to read his facial features with my hand, he brushed it away. So I got up and left. Later I re-united with Guide at the maze entrance, who seemed to barely able to contain his excitement (like a kindergartener in his first Disney Land trip). Obviously, he also met someone inside and couldn't wait to tell me about his adventure Guide seemed totally forgot that he was on the clock, but I liked it. I wanted him to enjoy this tour as much as I did. Out of three saunas I experienced on this trip, A&P was best in terms of facilities and cleanliness (I saw cockroaches in both other saunas) and probably also the look department (a lot of young gym type going there). Love Spa was cheapest (entry 2.5$, A&P: 4$, Hatha Khmer: 3$) and also most crowded. Less attractive people might have more opportunities in Love Spa because of its total darkness. On the other hand, the main problem with A&P is that it has no dark rooms and virtually no chance for orgies (too seedy vs. too clinical, I would say). I like Hatha Khmer the most and would come back because it's a balance between the two in terms of everything. 9pm sauna closed. Still early to visit bars, I decided to try one more Massage place, Om Massage in Rue Pasteur No. 51, close to the intersection with Street 154. We called grab tuk-tuk, but Guide entered the wrong address so we ended up in the middle of a cluster of girl massage shops who waived at us like there's no tomorrow. I checked Google Map again and saw the right place was only 20 min walk away and I haven't yet reached my daily quota of 15K steps, so I asked Guide if it was ok to walk. No problem. So we walked to the intersection of Rue Pasteur with St 154, and as it is now often the case, couldn't find the place. Asked local people, they gave some directions, we walked back and forth, and still couldn't see anything look like a massage shop. I then told Guide to check online to see if there is any number to call. He found it, called the owner, who said his shop is upstairs and opened from 10am to 9pm. That means it's closed now. Still, I insisted we find the exact location for future reference. We walked back and forth some more, finally found a girl sitting downstairs who pointed us to the right floor. Here is the picture Again, no signage, but you can see some white towels hung out to dry near the closed door right? That's where it is, probably impossible for fist-time visitors who are not local to find (but I bet @ChristianPFC could). Mission accomplished, I asked Guide to suggest a good seafood restaurant nearby. He took me to a place he visited.... 8 years ago, and of course, it was no longer there. The store changed owner and they now sell something else. I must say Guide is cute, sweet, and fun to be with, but when it come to guiding, he still had a long way to go. It worked for me though because I prefer a local friend, whom I can talk to, tease and make joke with, to a professional guide who's only there to do his job. Just wished his sources were more updated so we didn't waste time walking around. We then found another seafood store to have dinner, food just so so. 10h45 pm. We still have two more gay bars to try - Space bar (Phnom Peng equivalent of Silom Tawan) in Street 136 and the famous Heart of Darkness (the equivalent of DJ Station), both within walking distance. We visited Space first, a gay bar smaller than both POC and Blue Chili (reported in part 4) with mostly muscular hosts. Here are some pictures There were 6 boys working that night, most of whom looked straight. My soft drink 3$, Guide cocktail drink 6$. Boy drink 3.5$, but no bar fine (this will be explained later). How much the boy wants for ST and LT? Guide asked one random boy in the bar and his answer was evasive: everyone has their own rate and he wouldn't reveal his own rate (probably he can tell I am not a prospective customer). While in Space bar, I asked Guide to check with his dancer friend. He had finished all his day and night jobs, and ready to meet. So I told him to go straight to Heart of Darkness - the final destination of our tour. When we were about to leave, the boy in red singlet in the last picture came over to say hi. From the way he sashayed and talked, I could tell he's gay. I was right. Not only was he much more friendly than other guys, his English was also much better and he was willing to answer questions. So basically, they are not allowed to go with customers while at work, they are only there to wait on table, drink with customers and earn tips. What they do with customers when they finish work is their own business. That's why there is no bar fine and no guidelines for ST/LT. Look like the owner (who's sitting right there, in black singlet, on the left, upper corner of the last picture, you could see his profile only) wants to make sure his bar is above board with no overt prostitution). While Red Singlet was talking to me, he saw a hickey in my neck, touched it, teased me about it and asked who? I wasn't even sure whose it is, but most probably from Boy from Blued Guide's friend messaged he's on the way, so I paid the bill, tipped Red Singlet, and we left for Heart of Darkness. It was Sunday so the place was not busy at all. There were only 5 groups of customers around midnight including us (they open till 3 am). There was a group of local teenagers who sat next to our table, some of whom looked so young they were probably still in secondary school. I felt like marching over and asked: Kids, don't you have school tomorrow? The dancer friend finally arrived. He turned out to be Mixed Vietnamese (dad Cambodian and mom Vietnamese) and speaks a little Vietnamese. (to be continued)

  36. From Bangkok Post Former deputy prime minister Somkid Jatusripitak says young Thais want a democracy involving public participation, not one that follows representatives from just a few elite families. Mr Somkid, who has reportedly accepted becoming a prime ministerial candidate of the Sang Anakhot Thai Party, made the comment during a keynote speech marking the 88th anniversary of Thammasat University on Monday. He said he was engaged in social and political issues during his four years at Thammasat University, which inspired him to pursue public service. He said events during the 1973-1976 student pro-democracy protests influenced Thammasat students very much and that he believed that in the current climate the public are willing and ready to hear what students have to say. “The university was established within the context of fighting for democracy. These days many people can't believe the strange versions of democracy we follow like feeding bananas to monkeys or where 1% of the population has more wealth than 80% of the population combined. "Did we want this in our fight for democracy? I've asked young people. They told me they want a democracy where a majority of people participate in finding solutions without conflict. A true democracy that is not controlled by certain groups or families," he said.

    Mike's taxi service

I can't find the thread now,but a few weeks ago I asked about transport to Pattaya and got quite a few answers regarding taxi services. I chose Mike Taxi , and I used the Line app and always got a response immediately. I told him/her my concerns and how I worry if the taxi doesn't arrive etc and how paranoid I am it's not going to be there etc and they respond immediately " I will make sure the driver meets you " I think I have anxiety disorder so I tend to catasphrize ( if that's the right word) things that possible could happen eg the taxi doesn't meet me etc and I'm stuck at the airport. So I emailed & line apped Mike's a few times before arriving so much that he responded to me " Is that you emailing me as well as on Line ? I said yes ,I just want to make sure it arrives to meet me. He responded " I will make sure ,no need to keep emailing me " He obviously thought I was paranoid 😂 he went quiet for awhile when I said the driver can spot me from my hot pink baseball cap, 🤣 after that he probably confirmef his suspicions I was some kind of nutter 😂 So here I was yesterday my plane arriving in Bangkok and I'm sitting there on the tarmac when a line message beeped from Mike's Taxi " I see your plane just arrived the driver is waiting for you " I got off the plane quickly and walked fast the "several miles" to the arrivals got thru very quick,so glad I didn't buy the Fast track no need for it. Waited like 15 minutes for the luggage to arrive and walked out to see my driver walking towards me, ( I told them I was wearing a hot pink baseball cap,so that helps being spotted😁 Walking towards the carpark the driver suddenly stopped, " oh I forget they want me to tell them when I pick you up" with that he started texting , I bet they may have asked him " Did you pick up that weirdo yet who sent me 50 emails ! 🤣🤣 approx 1 hour to Pattaya no traffic at that early morning time Im not sure if " Mike" is a farang owner or not but his contract drivers are excellent! 1200 baht all up ,great value but I gave him a tip too,he waited for my late arrival plane and didn't complain so he was a great driver ,can't remember his Thai name though, apparently he is a contract driver for Mike's and a few others, I didn't ask him if Mike was a farang perhaps. Now you have to walk to the carpark with the driver, that didn't worry me as I'm quite fit , he offered to wheel my luggage but I declined . I was surprised when he told me he gets customers who demand to smoke in his car, i don't smoke so I wasn't concerned but I'm shocked people can be so rude I recommend Mike's Taxi service , I don't know what kind of drivers you may get but it seems the management are very efficient 👍

  39. Yes, absolutely. La Setenta (Carrera 70) is the heartbeat of Laureles and is loaded with bars, restaurants, vendors and pretty much everything you expect in a Latin American city. At the end of the La Sententa is the Giradot stadium which the two major Medellin fútbol clubs call home. It is also the finishing spot for the parade of Silleteros during the Fiesta de las flores in August. You willl find that La Setenta is busy all of the time, but on weekends it is packed with people looking to get out and socialize. As a result, there is always a police presence on this street. Walking in Laureles at night is very safe in the zone you described. Be certain to take a GPS enabled phone if you are walking down to Sillón Rojo from Laureles, as the street change from the circles (Circular) to the grid pattern below the Universidad Pontificía. You need to navigate across the Diagonal 66B to Avenida 33 which can be tricky as both are very busy traffic thoroughfares. I have always understood Avenida 33 to be the north-south border between Laureles and Belén barrio. There are several gay bars along this avenue between Carrera 78 and 80 (Purple, Happy, and Rainbow). Sillón Rojo sits very close to the intersection of Avenida 33 and Carrera 65, however it is located on the south side of the Avenida 33 where all of the moto shops are located, not on the North side as shown on Google maps, so grab a picture from the web and maybe have them on WhatsApp just in case they need to send someone to find you (crazy, but I have seen them do this). There is also a special Uber service some nights for pick up and drop off at the club so maybe check ahead before you go.

  40. (part 5) After 2 days, I move to A&P (Arthur & Paul) - the gay-only hotel in Phnom Peng (I have always wanted to experience such a place). It's pricy, double the price I paid for my centrally located 4 star hotel, and also a bit far from the city center. However, moving to this hotel put me in walking distance of 15 minutes or less to a number of well-known gay sauna & massages, including Dai Khmer (st 420), Ganesh House Massage (also on st 420), Hatha Khmer Massage and Love Spa (reported in part 4), to name a few, not to mention the most famous A&P, the in-house sauna of the hotel to which its guests have free access (Guide actually wanted to take me to A&P during my first tour but I told him I'm gonna stay there anyway). My tip: visitors to Phnom Peng should try to stay in two different locations (one near the Royal Palace, and the other near A&P). A&P itself is expensive, but I saw quite a number of decent hotels, probably cheaper, nearby when I walked around the neighborhood. That means you can stay in a cheaper place and then buy an all-day multi-entry pass to A&P for a few more bucks to use their very good facilities, including dry & wet saunas, swimming pool, big jacuzzi, and also cute and smiling staff in their underwear (it's clothing optional, mind you). It's like when you visit Ho Chi Minh city, you should stay first in District 1 (the actual city center, especially Bui Vien area which we call phố tây - street for foreigners) and later move to District 10, Sub-district 12 (the de factor gay service center with a lot of gay massage parlors and saunas). Back to Phnom Peng, I walked to Ganesh House Massage last night because it's very near just to have some ideas. It has the same setup as Hatha Khmer Massage: curtains, boys in underwear (white this time) but fewer boys (8 on display at 10h30pm, open till midnight). As with the case of Heco, the receptionist's English is extremely poor and Guide wasn't with me, so after a few questions trying to find more info but to no avail, I gave up and walked back. Took some pictures though. I contacted Dai Khmer (on the same street as Ganesh) on Grindr and they send me pictures of the available 5 masseurs. I like the one in red shirt. A taste check: @vinapu and @jason1975 which ones do you like? Jason, I think you could really use a week-end trip from Singapore to sample gay life and boys in Phnom Peng. About finding boys on app, I only had one hook-up in the first two days so don't have much to say about it. However, it looks to me that while both Blued and Grindr have a lot of local boys, Grindr appears to have a higher rate of MBs. In Thailand, I found that Hornet works better for Pattaya, Grindr for Bangkok and Blued is pretty decent for both. Vietnam is similar to Cambodia (Blued and Grindr), but you may want to install one more app - Zalo (as popular as Line in Thailand). Usually, app boys are gonna give you their Zalo contact. Another tip: if you are in Vietnam and try to find boys on app, beware of so-called online pimps, who also advertise their service on Blued, Grindr and Zalo. Many of those online pimps just scout the apps, looking for any boys who advertise themselves as MB (in Vietnam, we usually use the term call boy or cb instead), then create their own list of "models". As a result, the same boy may appear in multiple lists advertised by different pimps. In many cases, the pimps know next to nothing about their boys and can't answer your questions about the boy's sexual orientation, whether he looks like his pictures, what he would or would not do in bed, etc. Worse still, they also jack up the price quite a bit (for example, if you deal directly with the boy, he may ask for somewhere between 500K and 1 mil VND short time, about 700-1500B or 22-45 USD. Through a pimp, that would become 1-1.5 mil VND (and if they know that you are foreigners, they may quote the price in USD for even more money, so feel free to haggle). The more a pimp can charge you, the more commission he gets (30% of what the boy gets from you). Different pimps may quote you different prices for the same boy. I don't mind paying the pimps their cut if they actually do a their job of giving us some helpful intel about boys. But they more often than not don't. So I follow some pimps on Zalo to see pictures of the boys and then just do the opposite: scout the apps for familiar faces You also need to know where to put your location while searching. In Hanoi, for example, search the old quarter or Hoan Kiem lake. Ho Chi Minh city (see relevant locations a few lines above). One MB, who's currently working in Bi sauna in District 10 in Ho Chi Minh City, told me this intriguing story. He got a customer (a Vietnamese overseas) through a pimp and travelled all the way to meet the customer in his centrally-located hotel. The agreed price is 1.2 mil (which means the pimp's cut is 400K). However, the customer, for whatever reasons, changed his mind and didn't want sex. He offered the boy 500K for "meeting and chatting". FYI: I can confirm that the boy in question does look like his pictures, very cute in person as well, and can also do massage quite professionally. I used his service and was happy. Boy told me he had to give the pimp his cut of 400K no matter what (he also complained that pimps don't care if the deal didn't go through, they don't care if boys get in trouble with rogue customers, would not protect the boys because they themselves also know nothing about customers), and the remaining 100K wasn't even enough to cover his two-way taxi fare. So he insisted the customer pay the agreed amount because a deal is a deal. When the customer refused, you know what the boy did? Right there in the middle of the hotel lobby, he (kinda small-built) jumped on the guy (tall and big) and screamed in Vietnamese. I need a moment think how I should translate this into English... "Everyone, this jerk's trying to stiff a whore! This jerk's trying to stiff a whore!" (that's how we make a scene in Vietnam). You probably know the ending right? The customer paid up and the boy left, but damages already done. (to be continued)

  44. I don't think many straight guys would have problems with this arrangement as to them, it's just work (like you are asked to do a gay porn together). Straight boys I know back in Vietnam certain don't. Some even offer "a discount" if you take their "brother" as well. On the other hand, gay boys who are "sisters" with each other might mind. My offer for threesome was turned down twice in Pattaya (one in Toy Boy and another in a go-go bar used to be next to Nice Boys whose name I forgot). In each case, both boys wanted to go with me but separately. You can off him today, off me tomorrow. They wouldn't do it if their "sister" is around. It's too weird, they said. It might hurt if they both get inside @jason1975 at the same time
