  1. Sitting at GRU now and I’ll try to sum up a bit my 8-day trip in Sao Paulo. This post is about non-sexual stuff, and the sexual part will be the next one. If you are a repeated visiter in Brazil, you might want to skip it as you’d know most of the things already. Seen that I’ll be back to Brazil next month after Colombia, I didn’t force myself to do anything that I didn’t feel like this past week. There will be more time… I’m fluent in Portuguese, but the European one. For those who are not familiar with the two versions of this lovely language, let’s say the difference is about 10 times the one between British and American English or European and Latin American Spanish, and 5 times the one between French and Quebecois. We in Europe have certain exposure to Brazilian Portuguese as many movies and tv-shows are dabbed into it. I was shocked to see how little Brazilians are exposed to European Portuguese. Most people I talked to, whichever social class they may be from, and I talked to a lot of them, don’t even recognize basic words such as Fixe (Legal), sesta (soneca) and Patavina (Nada). Of course there are also lots of slangs that I didn’t understand at first, but communication was not an issue. The arrival at GRU was very smooth, I was the first to pass immigration, and my luggage did follow from Paris and came out one of the firsts. I was somehow stressed about it as the stopover at MEX was CHAOTIC! The interline agreement from Air France and Aeromexco was a joke. Everyone had to go cross the immigration, retrieve the luggage, cross the customer with it, then right behind, on the left, there was a zone for connecting flights’ luggage. It was very badly explained or guided. Most passengers brought the luggages with them and took the monorail to T2 to recheck them in there, which was VERY far and very time consuming. The luggage service at MEX was a bigger joke! I was on biz and it took them more than one hour to deliver the luggage. Don’t even try if your connection is shorter than 3 hours. One of the Aeromexico lounge at T2 has a ‘Spa’ with ONE shower. They only schedule ONE passenger every half an hour, even most of us just need 5 minutes to fresh up. It was a big downgrade from Air France lounge at CDG, where you can even enjoy unlimited Finnish sauna… The Aeromexico flight to GRU was actually not half bad. Newish 787 and food has taste. It was my first time in SP and I was not impressed by the urbanism. Everything looks dated and tired. The historical centre is small and dirty. The Sé, the San Bento monastery and whatever touristic stuff they tried to fabricate has very limited interest compared to even 3rd tier European cities. The area of Republica and Bela Vista seemed safe but the infrastructure was dated. Patched roads, running-down houses and visible poverty. In Republica there are some small cute shops catering to lower mid-market, very possibly gay clientele. I spent most of my nights at Intercontinental. Dated design but very well maintained, and extremely well managed. Being the top-tier member, I was given the Paulista suite with a jacuzzi. Even though I had to break my stay into 3 checkins, they kept that suite for me and personalized it according to my preference without me asking for it. Hot milk upon arrival, cervical pillows, camomile tea with honey in the evening, etc. This level of service is standard in Four Seasons or Ritz but definitely a sign of high professionalism in an Intercon. I did venture to Wyndham Paulista once and I ran back screaming. In Europe, Wyndham is a well respected chain. How could this one be so racked? Everything was cheap and most things were broken. Anyhow, stay in Intercon if you want to be near MASP in SP. The breakfast is standard but with an impressive selection of cut fruits and juices. The lunch and dinner are served both in the restaurant and the lobby bar, and I had most of my dinners at the latter. Two of the evenings, they had a great vocal band there. Great performance. I’m a big fun of Bossa Nova and vocal jazz. FullSizeRender.MOV Ave. Paulista is a constant reminder of the lost glory of Brazil. Besides museums and public buildings, two shopping centres are considered good, City Sao Paulo and Patio Paulista. They are not very up-scale but have most things one might need. The exchange in Patio Paulista, near the food court, has the best rate (USD 4.8+ vers. 4.7). A much better shopping centre that I visited was the Iguatemi. It has Hermes, Louis Vuitton, etc. Most imported luxury goods are twice the price compared to Europe so I’m not buying ANYTHING foreign here. I do get the feeling that luxury goods are reserved to a very small portion of the population in Brazil. Most of mid-class Brazilians, based on my observation, would buy branded perfumes, which are btw extremely overpriced here, and refill them with local juice. I think it’s very smart and says a lot about Brazilian reality. I even had a GP who contacted me, asking me to bring him a bottle in exchange of 3 free sessions. Could it be a trick to score discounted sex? Lol. Maybe it’s the Japanese influence, massage seems to be an organic part of Paulista life. There is a very basic massage parlour on B1 of City Sao Paulo, right in front of the escalators. Two very cute masseurs were spotted there. With just a curtain which separates the bench from the reception, I didn’t feel like trying. But I was later told by a Grindr encounter that things do happen there. Many massage and beauty venues can be found on B1 of Patio Paulista yet I didn’t see any male therapists. I did get a good Shiazu massage from a nice Japenese lady from one of the places, which was good. I also had a massage from a stand-alone massage parlour on a side street of Ave. Paulista. I was lured in by the photo of the masseur posted outside. Quite curative Swedish-Thai mixture, no hanky-panky, not even suggestive. As the one previous one, I paid less than 200 reais. He did mentioned that he also do hotel outcall for 300 reais. Would it be more sensual? I also got a facial from one of the most famous local skin care brands, Adcos. Nothing to be compared to a French facial, but good enough to be called one. They have a very sophisticated cash-back, membership, and referral bonus system. The vendor was very surprised that I understood it right after he explained. LOL. I was like, Hey, I’m Chinese. We invented all this! I found the service in general very good. They are very driven yet not pushy. The Paulista Jardim area is much more affluent, and Rua Oscar Freire seem to be the ‘Faubourg Saint-Honoré’ of SP. Lots lots of nice local shops, cafés and restaurants. Besides major international mid-market brands, lots of local brands can be found there. What’s really exiting is the presence of many work-shop-stage local designer shops. Very often the shop is street level, and the atelier / office is upstairs or on the back. There are a couple galeries and one, Urban Art, is really good and extremely affordable. Big pieces are going around 500 USD and I was very attempted to get one for my new apartment in Lisbon. Maybe I’ll do that before I leave in August. Many trendy cafés on Rua Oscar Freire and the parallel Rua Lorena. One appears to be very popular, with a long queue outside all the time. I hate queueing. Many chic Paulistanos walk their cute little dogs in this area, which give it a ‘Avenue Montaigne’ vibe. If I were to rent an airbnb, I’d definitely consider here. I went to Bem Retiro, the Korean / Chinese town on Dia de Namorados (Brazilian Saint Valentine) with my little husband (I’ll explain it in the next post). We did Karaoke (about reais per hour) and had dinner in a very authentic (both the cooking and the decor) Chinese restaurant. It’s actually almost only cater to Chinese customers. My little hubby told me that he wanted to try it since long long time, but they actually request Brazilian customers to be accompanied by at least one Chinese. Not because they are racist, but because virtually no one there speaks Portuguese and the menu is completely in Chinese. It was my first Chinese meal there. I insisted to order Pax + 1 dishes, as we do normally in China. But when the three dishes showed up, we felt obliged to invite 5 more guys to join us. Lol. In Chinese / Korean restaurants here, portions are ridiculously huge. Days later, in another restaurant, we actually saw Brazilian families of 3 or 4 ordering only one dish to share, and it’s fairly common. Brazilians do bring over-ordered food home in plastic boxes, as in most Asian countries, and I love it. Wasting food nowadays is so shameful. Europeans need to learn that! I spent my last evening in Libertade, the Japanese / Asian town. Many asian shops, filled with cute little stuff. But I was told that most of those things can be found on Ali-express (a cheaper and foreign version of taobao, or a B2C version of Alibaba) for a fracture of the price. At least 3 guys talk about Ali-express and how much they are dependant on it. I’m not a big fun of Japanese food so we ate in a Filipino restaurant. On the table aside were an American couple and they told us that Filipino restaurants are very uncommon in SP. The food appeared authentic and we ate for less than 100 reais! Restaurants are somehow expensive in the city centre for the locals. I’d count 50 to 100 reais per person for fairly simple food. Food court in shopping centres may cost you 30 to 50 and really high-end places might have sky as limit. I did find a Michelin one star restaurant on Oscar Freire, and I tried to bring little husby there, but he insisted that we ate Asian food instead, as it’s more to our taste anyway. I was using uber most of the time. But I did try once the bus, out of curiosity. It’s extremely simple. There’s someone in the bus to sell the ticket, and it costs 4.4 reais. You can pay with cash, but maybe not too large note, because they won’t have enough changes for you. I didn’t manage to buy the famous ‘Bilhete Único’. They don’t sell it in the subway station, you need to go to main bus stations (am I mis-informed?) Once you have the card, you can charge it on the machines in the station. I was told that old people can ride for free and students pay only half. The bolistas (state scholarship owners) ride for free too. My little husby is doing an intern at an international fashion house and he’s paid pretty well for that in Brazilian standards, 1500 reais salary, plus 700 for food and 300 for transport, which he considers as very generous. He told me the entry level job in that company would be 500 reais more, and a entry level employee in a bank would be 1800 as salary but with probably less food and transport subsidies. The economy is very fragile here, largely due to bad management of the government. I saw in news that in 2021 Brazilian had the weakest income in the past ten years, with an average of merely 1535 reais per month (if I remember the number correctly), slightly above the minimal salary. 10.8% of the population had less than 210 reais as monthly income. There was the scandal of Petrobra, and another one about the 28 millions of Pfizer and Astrazenec vaccines, costing over 1 billion reais, are about to expire before reaching to the much in-need. Every time I turned on the news, some crazy shit is happening. I decided not to watch TV anymore. It’s a country with such potential, but so much was wasted. I remember, when I was a kid, before China became a thing, Brazil was often praised to be the next economy power house. Even as a foreigner, I feel great pity for it, especially for its people. That said, Brazilians need to learn to be more organized and more punctuate. The numbers of my appointments that were delayed and cancelled were scary. Actually, not once, not once, Brazilians I met were on time, if they decide to show up. I’m not talking about only private appointments here. The transport in SP city centre seems fine, but to / from GRU seems more challenging. My ride was about one hour each time, which is unbearably long for 24 km. Price-wise, it’s about 15 for 3 km, 20-25 for 5-6 km, and 70 for 24 km, so you get the idea. I got a haircut in a little hair salon, with a post-industrial vibe. It was 40 reais. The Cabeleireira had little idea what to do with Asian hair, and I wonder where those Japanese descendants get their hair done. I didn’t see any asian hair dresser even in Bem Retiro or Libertade. Later I noticed some more chic places charging 100 reais for a cut. Oh gosh, sorry for this random jabber. I just wanted to record some facts that I found interesting, amusing or shocking. I promise that the next post would be more to you guys’ taste. FullSizeRender.MOV

  2. I only made it once to Lagoa, shame on me! Shame! Most of the time I was occupied by a 20 yo fashion student and a 28 yo dancer / model, plus some Grindr freebies. The 20 yo is cute like a button. Picture the young Caio Veyon, but glistening white and million times more boyish. His ass is tight like hell (he claims that he only had sex with two other guys) and his cock is surprisingly big (Caio size and shape) which is hard ALL THE TIME. He was very clingy, not afraid to show affections. He would cling to my arm when we walk, (with his 188 cm built and my 173 cm, it must look pretty funny), kiss me in public, hold my hands in cafes / restaurants and make compliments which make me blush. He comes to see me every day after his intern and leaves before bed time. His parents don’t allow him to sleep outside. He tries to make me cum at least twice a day, satisfying all my sexual demands, and cum himself 3 to 4 times every day, expect the last day when we had a quick bite and goodbye sex during his lunch break. I trained him to deep-throat me the way I like, and I sucked him to cum in my mouth, something I almost never do. I enjoy pounding him till he shoots his load over his head, and he endures continuing fucking me to my satisfaction after his climax. He admitted that over-sexing me was his strategy so I wouldn’t meet too many guys. He also admitted that he’d definitely try to be my boyfriend if we lived in the same country. I’m very fond of him and very grateful. I tried my best to give him the boyfriend experience he wanted. I’d go pick him up at the end of his shift, and had all my accompanied dinners with him. I know we are not supposed to talk too much about sex with non-GPs here, but when I think about sex in SP, it was mostly with him. I call him my little husby. The 28 yo dancer / model was very present the first days, especially over the weekend. He slept with me, fucking multiple time all night long. His Indio-Afro origine gave him great complexion and an impressive cock girth. He has endless stamina and a body to die for. It was very complicated to schedule him since I started seeing the little husby. Things got easier when he started shooting a music video for some local artist. We were supposed to meet at the weekend, but he wrote me almost last minute, saying that the guy he’s involved with surprised him with a visit and he'd only be able to see me when I’m back. It actually saved me the trouble of lying or explaining to little husby. I hate lying, and explaining. I also met a couple of local guys on Grindr, notably twice with a 23 yo colleague student who works as a part-time masseur, a dancer / choreographer who used to work in Europe, an expat from Argentina, a mulato from Rio, and a 3some with a Indio+afro couple. Only the Rio guy was a disappointment, with small dick and was a bit out of shape, so we just talked. The 3some was quite memorable. I cum 3 times. Once in the Indio’s ass while the afro fucking me, once deep in the Indio’s throat while his bf kept on fucking me, and one last time when the afro was finally cumming, engorging his 21 cm cock in my ass. None of the above mentioned guys ever asked for money or gifts, not even Uber. Of course I did pay for all the expenses. The little husby tried to pay a couple of times, but I’d never let him pay for anything over 20 réais. On Grindr quite a few offered their talent, most of whom asking for 300 but négociable. One porn actor / masseur was very persisting, offering full service for 200 but I just didn’t have any time at all. He sent me tons of videos of he from different studios, such as EricVideo. I’ll try to give him a try when I’m back. I really love massages. I made only once to Lagoa, Monday night, when little husby had a photo-shooting session. Monday is still promo night, with entrance for 30 réais. I walked there at half past 7. The place was pretty full without being overly packed. I’d say about 30 GPs and 25 customers. There’s a female customer, too. I don’t know what her deal was. I certainly felt a bit too much attention, somehow almost every GP found a way to talk to me, some being unbearably pushy. I thought Lagoa was the less pushy sauna… Maybe it’s me being Asian, maybe it’s my completely hairless body, maybe it’s my golden swim-trunk (sweat… I was convinced there’s be a functioning whirlpool…), maybe it’s just what happens to every customer there. Most of them wanted to touch my legs… Commenting on how smooth they are... Didn’t they ever meet anyone hairless? I’m sure it’s just their trick. Finding a feature of each customer and make compliments on it. I’d put the GPs into 4 categories. 1. Cute twinks. Maybe 4 there, two of which extremely good looking. They’d mostly sit around the main bar, where they’d be seen the best. They’d just stay there being pretty. Understandably they were the least interested in me. Twinks hate twinks. How shameless that I call myself a twink, at my age! But somehow that’s still how most people see me. 2. Body guys. About half of the GPs there. Some in towel, some in underwear, some in jeans. They’d have good body, not necessarily body builders, but at least quite fit. They are the most pushy, especially the towel ones. They’d come straight to me, talk, grab my ass, kiss, guide my hand to their goods. They underwear ones would touch themselves when they notice me approaching, making themself hard, smile and call me over or come to me gently, and show me their goods. The jeans guys would keep a short distance, touching themselves, while keeping an eye on me. 3. Cock guys. One third of them. They might not have the best look, nor the best body, but they have firm will to make a sell. They’d have their cock out most of the time, hard most of the time. They must be on something. They are not necessarily the most pushy, maybe because all what they have is already out there. Most of the guys above opened with 150, two with 200 but lowered instantly to 150. I didn’t higgle because I was not interested. At first I was not ready. It all happened too fast and I was not that horny. Most of them said they were top only. Only one said he would ‘fazer tudo’. One Germanic looking boy was quite my type, very willing, cock hard as rock, thick but not very long. What held me off was that he was obviously on something, red eyes, maybe just viagra? He sit and talked to me for quite a while. Another mulato boy showed great persistence, too. He’s typically who I’d be dating on Grindr. But we are there to find what we don’t normally have, right? Something I must point out, where I stand corrected, is that boys there are not that well hung! Posts here talk about 8-9 or even over 10 inches as it were a norm. But what I have witnessed confirmed only slight over average sizes. I don’t know how you guys measure cocks. I follow the wikipedia guidelines (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_penis_size). I actually carry a tape measure in my sex pouch and I measured lots of guys. From those exercises, I’m confident about my estimations. Most of the above mentioned guys have 17 to 19 cm, some are down to 15 to 16 cm. Very few reach the 20.3 cm / 8” milestone. 4. XXL guys. I only identified two. One Afro, sitting shortly in front of the straight porn, dick out but not hard. The soft meat seems 20 cm already, spindle shapped. He signed me to go over, and I asked the musts. He wants 200, but he doesn’t kiss, doesn’t suck, only …, I think I zapped him from there. The other xxl guy was in the hammam. I found him when I was about to give up and call it a night. He’s older, maybe mid 30s, very tall, very broad built, and he goes with the name Reinaldo. I think many of you guys know him, as he looked like a veteran there. I don’t mind the age, it’s my favorite age anyway, when one’s well kept, and he’s the case. As to his cock, it’s a solid 25 cm, and thick! Very very meaty! He jerked off for me, let me feel its grow. I did worry about him not being able to get it all up completely, and keep it iron hard, as it was 9 pm already and he might already cum more than once. He promised he would, or he’d not charge me. I laughed, said that he knew I’d pay anyway, and conter-offered viagra if he couldn’t. He accepted. He asked for 150. We went to the cabine, 25 réais, and he started to jerk off furiously. I sucked him and he got hard, not as hard as I wished, but enough to initiate. I put one of the xl condoms I brought with me and suited him up. It was way too small for him. I poured the silicone lub I had on that monster, and tried to squeeze it into my hole. It was hard, and he was not hard enough! He tried to jerk off more but I knew it was not happening, and he knew it too. He asked for the viagra, and chewed it dry. I tried to talk to him while waiting, but he’s very impatient to get the business done. After about 5 minutes, he got hard. Viagra can’t work that fast, right? Maybe it’s placebo. Whatever reason, we were both thankful. The next 5 to 8 minutes were very enjoyable, feeling that baby arm massaging my inside in every possible way. I’d definitely love to have it for longer, but for some reason he was very much in a hurry. At certain point, he even got a bit angry, accusing me not wanting to cum. But we were only there for like 15 minutes! I kind lost my appetite and cum as fast I could. I gave him his 150, manifested my disappointment on his attitude. He apologised, explaining that he needed to catch a bus back to his city at 10 pm. When I exited Lagoa, I happened to see him getting into a black sedan with an older gentleman. At that point, I was sure he was lying. But the next hours he kept on messaging me on WhatsApp, sticking to his explanation. He even sent me his real-time location on the bus and later at home. I don’t know. And honestly I don’t care. The next days, Reinaldo messaged me everyday, asking if we could meet at my hotel. He offered one full hour for 300. I didn’t counter offer, because money was not the issue there. He promised again and again that he’d never hurry me through it again. He even proposed twice that we have lunch together, just to talk about it. I suppose it’s the usual drill from GPs. Maybe I’ll give him a second chance when I’m back. After all, his cock was divine.

  3. Day 10 For breakfast in Complex I have favorite place , French restaurant in the corner opposite Soda massage so that is where we went. They bake baguettes on the site and I saw few people coming and buying them by the dozen. Certainly better than toast. I had regular America breakfast buy Nara ordered some exciting for me dish – duck leg confit. Duck is my favorite meat and at home Sunday’s dinner staple. So that had me already planning lunch together for tomorrow at the same place I told him. For today I plan to stay in Pattaya proper to consume unexpected reunion with Suwit so after breakfast he went to the gym and I returned to Copa to pack and move to Classrooms in the next soi. Girl on reception recalled me from previous stays or at least pretended to based on record they must have in their computer. Room , king bed with balcony was not ready yet so I left luggage with her and went few steps to Paradise where Suwit met me with condemning look which did not stop me from ordering 1 ½ hr massage and his is a good one. Of course he threw again Casanova slur at me but softened the blow by calling me ‘ my Casanova’, that’s something !. Such claim earned him confirmation that I will take him home tonight and not knowing what future brings I asked him to wait for me. Then returned to Classrooms , room was ready , very spacious and comfortable as all rooms there and after basically sleepless night and that massage I felt bit dizzy so made myself a tea and collapsed on the bed for a life restoring nap. In the afternoon I went to exchange money, then to Das Berliner for a schnitzel. Dining alone I felt presence of biguyby our member with whom I dined there several times and who in fact introduced that place to me. Since I left Bangkok I have problem accessing my e-mail on the smartphone for some reason so I went to internet café in soi Post Office but it was closed already so I went to another one just past TukCom . She was almost closing too but promised me at least 10 minutes which suited me well enough. Next stop was to return to Boyztown and park myself at Pickety, host bar opposite BBB, beside Casto , in the place where Oscar used to be. One of their guys was very interesting but unfortunately he was already engaged serving farang and his entourage of 4 guys so I invited another one , quite good looking too who did not waste any time and asked me to go to my room tonight but unfortunately I had already Suwit booked so disappointed him a bit. At one point I thought Chinese tours returned but it turned out to be group, judging by dress , well heeled Vietnamese of both genders who came to see Castro show. They were greeted with quite a reverence by their stuff including performers. Tonight I had plans to see XBoys so at 9.30 I paid my bill, tipped my guy 200 for sitting and entertaining me for good hour if not two and went to Pattayaland soi 1 where Xboys are but there things got derailed. In front of Dreamboys opposite was standing A, former XBoys guy and show performer whom I offed LT three years ago. He remembered me and that off was to Classrooms hotel so I changed my plans and accepted his invitation to go to Dreamboys. I did not even go inside when I notice that at door standing and smiling at me is Soviet, old Cambodian acquaintance with whom I was sitting in Dramboys perhaps 5 years ago, then had massage with him at Royal House and after long hiatus last December we got reunited when I got drunk partying at Sabaidee in BKK and guys there tasked him with escorting me to hotel, where he accepted my invitation to stay for the night. I still recall waking up , half sober only to see naked guy sleeping beside, most likely his easiest LT ever even if we had some fun in the morning. So another unexpected reunion. I invited both of A and Soviet for a drink and as soon as we sat down , me being only customer inside, whom I see in the scene ?. R, one of two friends I was so impressed with two days ago in BBB and who it looks is moonlighting in Dreamboys as well. So fourth drink was ordered and it become dense around me which I enjoyed quite a bit as none of boys was too shy and A is champion kisser. And it was only start as few minutes later P, another of the pair from BBB showed up , another moonlighter there, next Chang on the table and we have fun. In meantime bar started filling up , from time to time guys went to the stage as I warned them loyally I had guy for tonight so they don’t have a chance for an off from me. I noticed one guy who was quite handsome and pointed him to R sitting beside me only to learn that it’s B, P’s brother. What? Call him over. I felt like emperor with court of 5 guys , one more handsome than another. So I ordered second round of Changs, told them it’s the last. We or at least certainly me had great time, sure it cost some money , 11 drinks plus each got 200 tip but it was money extremely well spent. Hugs , kisses and post 11 p.m. I left them certainly disappointed but I have my duties tonight. Suwit was waiting for me in front of Paradise, was not hungry, I had beer in the fridge so of we went to the room right away not noticed by anybody as entry to Classrooms is very discreet , separate card operated door. Good part of night we spent chatting and beering, not exactly dressed . At one point Suwit went to balcony to smoke completely naked and he did not care if he is seen or not. With good body like his he can afford such exhibition. In the dark part was quite energetic, morning exercises lively and then to eternal shame I passed a bit of wind, not particularly fragrant or loud but Suwit not missing the beat commented “ another boyfriend is calling you”. I love the guy ! Such was the end of day 10 and it means at some point past noon today it will be half mark of my trip, no wonder I lost wind control.

  4. After seeing the packed house at Boys Boys Boys last night, it reminded me that New Twilight will definitely need to amp up the sexiness of their shows. Even though BBB did have some ladyboy performances, at least half had eye candy backup dancers. BBB has got the formula right...just give us boys being sexy. That's why it's called sexy boy show. Most performances had visible cocks and fake cumming (I paid careful attention to where sprays were coming from, and they were not from the usual location.) And the B Boy show is high energy fun. I can see why it was packed, though the music is too loud to the point where I won't be offing a guy from there. I now truly understand what @vinapu means.

    A Proper Return :)

Communication My name is being called urgently with the cute mangling of a consonant that tells me it is Bangkok Guy who wants me. We are due to go snorkeling in ten minutes and ensconced in reception with a coffee, a sea view and my laptop I have lost track of time. Bangkok Guy knows that I sometimes loose track of time when I work and he is rounding me up. Just as I nudge him along when we have an early start and get the inevitable “mpfh, few minute” as he smiles and snuggles back down (I know from experience he will be more-or-less on time). As I stand it feels like a knife has gone through my intestines. I have been eating higher-spiced local Thai food for over a week now and my stomach has begun to protest. Eating Thai food with Bangkok Guy is like eating with a highly vigilant food taster. It is a cannon of his belief that Falang cannot eat spicy food and he needs to protect me from it, steering me away from particularly spicy dishes and weeding out particularly hot peppers. My stomach is telling me he has a point, and I reluctantly tell him to go snorkeling without me. A day’s break from each other turns out to be a good thing. He has a great time exploring the waters off several islands with the instructor and a Thai couple, a welcome rest from having to think in English. I spend the day in a hammock reading, enjoying doing precisely nothing. We decide to have dinner on the beach at Idyllic, an up-market treat of fresh-caught fish accompanied by a very good singer/guitarist. Bangkok Guy shares the instructor’s pics of the expedition, great shots of him with many colorful fish. And then we sit and stare at each other because we have run not out of conversation, but out of words. It’s not the first time, and after this many days together it is becoming obvious. Because we observe each other we understand each other well in simple things and we are in tune with each other’s mood. However, if we are going to keep moving forward we have to improve our ability to communicate. It is not the first time that better communication would make things smoother. A few nights earlier Bangkok Guy decided he was going to sleep cuddling a pillow, not me. We both enjoy cuddling, so this is surprising. “Why cuddle pillow not me?” “Pillow small” ?? “I take pillow” and we wrestled for control of the pillow until we are laughing so hard tears are rolling down our cheeks. Bangkok Guy likes these contests of strength which usually occur over the remote or preventing him from tickling me and I always win, eventually, but not this time as while I have the two arms with which to pin him down I lack the third arm required to seize the pillow and the contest ends with him grinning at me over the pillow, reveling in his triumph. None of which explains why he is cuddling the pillow. Feeling a little hurt I decide to sleep on it. With Bangkok Guy if I do not understand something time usually reveals what is going on. I wake in the morning way over on my side of the bed with the pillow hard against my back and Bangkok Guy asleep on the pillow. I turn over and find I am cuddling the pillow and am pleasantly in contact with Bangkok Guy. “Pillow small” now makes sense. It is very comfortable and, as the light of understanding breaks I see it solves two problems that have been causing us to sleep apart and not sleep well. The hotels in both Bangkok and Chang Mai had covered duvets, not a separate duvet and sheet. Bangkok Guy likes sleeping under the duvet but after some time cuddled up close under a duvet I get too hot and, without the option of separating the duvet from the sheet, we end up sleeping apart. To compound matters, this trip I am snoring more because I have let some of the Covid pounds I got rid of before the January trip slip back on. I could do with loosing ten pounds. The snoring is not the issue as much as the dribbling from sleeping open-mouthed. The pillow is comfortable, Bangkok Guy and I are in physical contact, I am not over-heating and any dribble is on the pillow. Bangkok Guy has discovered an effective heat and dribble barrier. Life would be smoother if he could communicate that to me. We agree that by my next trip I have to master basic Thai and Bangkok Guy needs to improve his English. If anyone has any recommendations for how to learn Thai, please let me know.

Firstly, great report. It's a very heartwarming read, I also really enjoy your observations about your relationship and difference in perspective with Bangkok Guy. I found myself wanting to learn some basic Thai to help my communication as well, although I am only 3 months in I have found the option that is working best for me is an app called Ling. I had also tried Youtube and looked for other apps with Thai as an option, but Ling is so far the only one I have found that has helped me gain a few new words and phrases for my vocabulary. There is a Thai massage boy I see in my hometown back in falangland, I'm considering asking if he wants to earn a little extra and spend some time with me to practice when I have a bit more confidence in my tones and pronunciation.

  7. @jason1975It certainly wouldn't be a bad decision. The only thing I would say is that most of the guys are quite heavily tattooed, which I don't mind at all. I think my favorite of the show was the celebration of Issan culture by having guys wear very very short versions of traditional sarongs, to the point where they were just obscene mini skirts. Essentially, this was a creative twist on a big cock shows and my favorite I've ever seen. Traditional music was played followed by participants going through the audience to collect tips, with good firm gropes being encouraged.

  11. At 10pm, I went to Freshboys. Many guys and now they wear white shorts. Decent lot of customers waiting for show to start. I saw the handsome guy whom I offed last week and I motioned to him to sit with me. After telling him to order drink, I told him through Google Translate that I would not be offing him. Not because he doesn't speak English but because he is man and doesn't kiss. Of course I didn't tell him the last sentence! I looked at the guys on stage. Nada. No connection. No chemistry. I paid for drinks, said goodbye to no-English guy and even gave him a tip. I went to New Twilight. Quiet night. Not more than 8 guys altogether. Fully clothed. Fewer than 5 customers. The bar must be bleeding baht at a serious rate every night. Location is really no good. Mamasan agrees. "Must have more promotion," mamasan adds. Being formerly from Moonlight, he knows the magic formula for a full house every night. I saw twinky waiter guy and I asked him if he is ok to go out with me. Sure, he says and off we went back to hotel room for kissing session.

    Gay Massage Reopening

Made my first visit to I-Come massage, a shop operated by those folks who bring us K-Man and KK massage. Located on Soi Suan Plu (diagonally opposite Convent Road) off Sathorn, it’s about a 20-minute walk from Silom. I was greeted by an Isan guy, Bee, who immediately understood what I wanted when I told him I didn’t want oil on this hot and sticky afternoon. This surprised me because most guys automatically revert to Thai massage when I say that. The room was on the third floor with a new, round shower stall with warm water. As we got to talking, he told me used to work at the since closed Nakarat shop on Soi 4. That had been my favorite shop and was known for its stable of Thai, Vietnamese and Lao guys. Things began to click for me when he told me he remembered four of the Viet guys (among others) that I used to use there. Bee, who only returned to Bangkok three weeks earlier, has a wonderfully firm body that you can only get from doing hard manual labor. It cried out to be massaged and that’s what I spent 10 minutes doing. Bottle of water on arrival (and much appreciated after the walk over). I’m happy to give this shop—and this guy—a thumbs up.👍 Facebook link below. You can request bookings on line. https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Health-Spa/I-Come-Massage-107877260701650/

  13. I was only once in Rio for a long week-end and stayed in one of the hotels by Copacabana Beach. On Sunday morning I took an expensive cab in to the centre just to walk around and see the city. It was a beautiful sunny day. I had taken off anything of value and just wore a T-shirt, shorts and sandals. I was walking past a church which was quite literally packed to overflowing when I heard running footsteps behind me, quickly followed by a hand over my mouth and another on my neck. It was only then I realised I had totally forgotten to take off the gold neck chain I had been wearing for a couple of decades. I rarely took it off as I had bought it in Singapore and the strong clasp was very difficult to undo. The thief had clearly seen it glint in the sunlight under my T-shirt. As my mugger pulled hard to try and dislodge it, I shouted for help. Three men standing in the lobby of the nearby church came rushing towards me. Within moments the thief had run off. Just a second later my neck chain fell to the ground! What really surprised me was that a police car was on the scene within less than a minute. But it was really my fault for not having taken the chain off, so I thanked everyone in my very basic Portuguese, especially the guys from the church. As @z909 has said, I cannot recall ever thinking about being robbed in Thailand over the decades i have been visiting and living in the country. And I never have been robbed.

Reciprocity Bangkok Guy is good for me. This is not just my opinion but also that of friends. Beyond being generally happy that I know him, he is slowly changing some of my habits and mind sets for the better. I no longer bolt down my food but put my cutlery down and pause between mouthfuls. I no longer feel compelled to eat and drink until the table is clear and the bottle empty. Following Bangkok Guy’s example, I now stop when I feel full without guilt about the leftovers. I am still organized by the clock independently of the day’s agenda – if it is x o’clock I must be up, or have accomplished y – but a little less so. Bangkok Guy is organized by the day’s agenda, not the clock, and if the agenda is empty he feels no compulsion to fill it but rather relaxes into the empty space. A little of this is rubbing off on me. A little. I told Bangkok Guy this and it made him happy as it was reciprocal “You very good for me”, in a tone that sounded like a major statement. I know his life is not easy. He is responsible for his mother and younger sister – he has pawned the ring-that-was-a-dragon to pay his sister’s school fees. Still, he is usually upbeat and cheerful so it surprised me (alarmed rather) when relaxing on the deck at Koh Lipe after a very enjoyable day snorkeling he said his head was so full of ‘pobpems’ that there was room for no more, illustrating this by filling a glass to the top with water “No more room”. Right then it did not seem the time to press the issue. However back in Bangkok over dinner at Baan Suriyasai, the first outing in his tailored clothes, I enquired. “No worry, it nothing, I exaggerate”. “No, it is something. I want to understand”. A pause while he searches for words. “What my future? I not know. Have no power”. The issue is that without my support, if I drop dead or drop him, he would be in trouble, back to hand-to-mouth. He has several business ideas, but lacks the capital to initiate any of them. He has no power to change his situation. Well, he has a little power, he has my goodwill. I reassure him that our discussion in January still holds true. As I get new business, I will help him with the capital he needs. There is no guarantee on timing, but it will happen. He has proof that if I say something I follow through as this year, as travel opened up and business picked up, I increased his allowance. He is a realist and knows the future is uncertain, but there is something here to hope for so, as a generally optimistic person, he is happy. The importance of helping him get to a point where he has some independence (‘power’ in his words) is very clear. And as cost cutting is just as good and possibly more permanent than increasing income, I am going to try to adopt his frugal mindset to free up some cash. (That crashing sound is a friend falling off his chair laughing, ye of little faith!).

I think the Thai contestant (who finished in top 10) has more of a Jupiter vibe, while the Vietnamese contest (who is the final winner) has more of a Moonlight vibe. So which one you would off and for how much? hehe

Unfortunately I don't have any experience of the Complex so I had nothing to compare it to. 23. Day 13. Wake up, Pool, brunch, leg massage, afternoon nap, netflix, dinner and finally to Hotmale beer bar. I managed to get the waiters to go to my room to drink after bar closing. Alas, at 11.45pm, one of the waiters said, "Sorry I cannot go drink with you. I have customer book me." What? He knew that I didn't believe him so he took his handphone out and showed me a bank app. 2000 baht transfer. To prove it was real, he pointed at the time of transfer. 11.39pm. Happy waiter went to get changed to meet his customer. Once one waiter backs out, the others also back out. It was close to midnight and I believe I could still pop into any of the gogo bars and get an off. But I was so flummoxed by my ingreduos situation and I just decided to call it a night. Back in the room, close to 1 am, I got a message on Blued. This led to a Cambodian guy coming to my room via a few exchanges of messages. ST 2k. Nice guy and a lifesaver of Day 13.

For me, the pearl in Thailand's crown is the far north. Chiang Rai is an excellent base for touring. The driving is easy, the roads quiet, the views spectacular and, if you prefer to hire a driver, we've always been able to get one for about 1000bht a day. Hotels at all prices and my favourite night market.

I showed my yellow vaccination passport/booklet and the doctor made an entry in the booklet. Over and done with. I was asked for proof of YF vacc. when flying from GRU to BOG some time ago, so when traveling from Brazil til Colombia it is needed.

    Dragon Man club Pattaya

Dragon Man Club seems typical of these sort of late night clubs of which there seems to be a few in Pattaya reopening now.. I have been a couple of times in April, once when it had a small audience and just a DJ, the second time when there were the soda water shows and guys in translucent pants (when wet). I remember the old Nab Club best as that was between Soi 5 and Soi 6 and easy walking/staggering distance of my hotel. It seems to me they are mostly aimed at a Thai audience, although farang buying bottles of whisky to share out always seem welcome haha. The are mostly places where you go with friends to continue the party when the main bars have closed for the night. Where you go to chat (despite the volume of the music), dance and admire the dancers on stage. The boys in the audience often circulate between tables, garnering whisky shots as they do so. You are far more likely to meet and off a boy from the audience than you are from the stage, as the stage dancers are mostly eye-candy. So going with friends, getting drunk with friends, dancing with friends and admiring the big cock boys on stage; it makes for a great 'end of evening' (unless you go to the karaoke bars even later). I am a fan of them, 'Dragon' included.

  29. From Bangkok Post The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Friday agreed to ease the requirement for wearing a face mask, making it purely voluntary outdoors or in uncrowded places. The CCSA meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, agreed that this and other easing of Covid-19 controls would take effect when published in the Royal Gazette. A spokesman earlier said the target date for the changes was July 1. The planned relaxation of Covid-19 controls are: - Redesignating all 77 provinces nationwide as green Covid surveilance zones. Currently there are 14 green, 46 yellow high sureillance provinces and 17 blue or tourism "sandbox'' provinces; - Extending the closing hours of nightspots, pubs, bars, karaoke shopsbars and similar venues from midnight to 2am; and, - Allowing people to go unmasked on a voluntary basis when they are in low-risk areas, uncrowded areas or outdoors, across the country. Face mask wearing will still be required in crowded and poorly ventilated areas such as public transport, and markets and concert venues. Taweesilp Visanuyothin, spokesman for the CCSA, said the prime minister thanked people for their full cooperation in wearing masks. However, further cooperation was still needed. Gen Prayut said most people still wore face masks, as they recognised their usefulness, said Dr Taweesilp.

  30. Yes it is a hassle to wear masks especially when talking and chatting but I do notice quite a number of customers who remain masked inside the gogo bars as they look at the guys on stage and watch the shows. Helps to keep them anonymous I guess.

  31. The patrons there who do have money are racking up tons of fees for bottle service, so that's one way. Also, these patrons will not just invite one guy to drink. They will often get 4 or 5. I think a big part of its survival is that it's open until so late and is essentially the main gay after-party location. As I left around 2, I wouldn't be surprised if the party picked up more at 3 or 4 especially as it seems the men there don't want to be offed as they could make more money being there.

When I asked why, they said content that violated terms which is funny since I hadn't posted any content at all. I suspect they got freaky about my vpn, but hard to know. I guess if they don't want me to sign up, I'm ok with that. Though twitter is really trying. Yesterday they recommended three of these scammer guys to me!

  38. Day 12 was a much quieter affair compared to previous crazy night at Tawan. After T left my hotel room at 11 in morning, I went for coffee at Starbucks while waiting for hotel staff to clean the room. Toilet tends to be in a mess when T overnights. Lo and behold who do I see at Starbucks but @flashbarryallen I thought he was already on his way to Pattaya but last minute his driver changed time. So we had half an hour to chit chat. We talked about AFIs (Area for improvment) to make future Jockstrap Nights better. My suggestion is to have a second host speaking in English. Eventually his driver arrived and off he went to Pattaya. The rest of the day was spent slacking in hotel room. At the stroke of 9, I went off to Foodland for dinner and then to Hotmale beer bar. Alex was off. Aung was on duty by himself and there weren't any other customer so your truly could chat with Aung non-stop. Very funny fella. He says he loves watching Korean drama serials and after work, he would watch until 9am in the morning before finally sleeping!

    Thai Pass

Good news, now it just needs to be published in the royal gazette and the Thai pass and insurance will not be required after July 1st. My trip for early next year just received a boost. From Richard Barrow: The CCSA has announced that the Thailand Pass will stop being required from 1st July onwards. People also don’t need to buy insurance. However, you may have to show vaccination documents or test results if asked. This will continue while the emergency decree remains. You also won’t be required to wear masks outdoors or in well ventilated places. There will be exceptions like crowded places. Entertainment venues can stay open until 2am and hotels can sell alcohol during the afternoon. More updates soon. Please note, as usual this isn’t law until it’s published in the royal gazette.

  42. Day 9 When he left I felt like not sleeping even if it was only dawning so kept myself busy in the room with trip chores but biology can’t be cheated much and at 8 went to bed again to sleep till well past 10 am. For breakfast I went to Salt and Pepper since I like restaurant and proprietor even if it was a bit of walk. Then I made round through central Pattaya and coming back to Copa by soi 2 in front of Paradise Spa, just beside former Happy Place I noticed guy standing and smiling at me. “Do you remember me ? “ he asked , “of course Suwit , I do” said I. He was one of my heroes of Aug 2019 trip chalking off 3 long times in row , obviously returning to his old workplace. Never saw him after and I was very happy with that unexpected reunion. I couldn’t engage him today but promised to come for massage tomorrow and also secured long time with him for tomorrow’s night. It turned out that he saw me marching to restaurant with 3 guys last night so was kind on watch out for me today. While walking around I took fancy to find good looking guy on Grindr and invited him to my room accepting his request for 1300 consideration. That was reason I couldn’t spent more time with Suwit. He showed up on time but honestly , second day in row I had Grindr guy and second time I don’t remember almost anything from our encounter. My notes are saying that he had great body but I did not like his childish behavior and probably was not pinched so much in my entire life. So those cheap encounters have bit useless side for me if they are not leaving any memories. After he left I felt hungry , on my way to Bay View restaurant on Bitch (spelling ?) Road I invited Suwit sitting in front of his shop to join me if only to land myself in trouble as he somehow knew or guessed rightly that I just met a guy and condemned me by saying ‘ you Casanova , you” . Tonight I was planning to spent a night in Jomtien complex and taking advantage of cheap rates before I left home I rented room in The Venue just in case to avoid late night trips. So went there by baht bus stopped on Beach Rd , leaving my things in Copa and on arrival went to 7/11 to buy two toothbrushes, toothpaste and a soap ( I don’t like those liquid garbages). Then went to see Nara, hero of 5 LT offs in December to report I’m here which he already knew because he spied me on the Grindr and secured his Long Time presence tonight. Now you know what second toothbrush was for. Told him to wait for me and promised if later he will be busy with client I wait for him. Gave him 100 baht to buy himself something to eat, slipped the same into jeans of another guy there who was smiling at me and whose face I recognized from Grindr. For now I went to @home bar where soon after aussie_ was supposed to arrive and in fact minute or wo after I sat down I saw him approaching. So we spent next hour or two exchanging news, drinking beer , admiring boys and observing traffic in the lane. It was fairly busy in the Complex tonight. Before 11 we waved good bye till next time, aussie went his way and I went to Nara’s shop to pay 300 off fee and take him with me via 7/11 as he wanted some snacks. Nara is known quality so we had quite passionate time together but managed to catch some sleep as well, morning round ended my day 9 on happy but bit exhausted note as sleeping with him is usually busy affair.

So I played sports again last night and saw him on my way to the sports center.. He smiled at me and I just smiled back and greeted him with a salute hahaha.. I am still playing it cool and still pretending to be a hetero but I was all smiles on my way to the sports center haha that def improved my mood and made me feel like in highschool again After sports around 10pm, I passed by his kiosk and asked him "mi mai?" or "do you still have?"? in english and he just replied in english "sorry, all finished".. I didn't make any further move as I still didn't want to think I am into him.. So now here is the dilemma, I want to invite him to drink over the weekend but I just dont wanna message him in line and ask if he is free this weekend.. Remember, I am still acting straight around him and straight guys dont just invite another straight guy they have just known for a drink right away.. I am def enjoying the feeling it gives me but sometimes, I feel like it is too slow haha but I dont want to rush it neither and risk getting rejected.

  45. Day 8 After collecting their fee we went to world famous for breakfast and soon their friend happened to pass by seeing them through the window so I asked him to join us too. Returned to hotel to pack mindful that I need to release room at 12 but at 10 I will have guest – that guy who crossed red light to my condemning look yesterday at Lumpini. He was on the dot. Tall and handsome but most of that charm disappeared when he removed the mask. In short , in mask he looked much , much better. Very unremarkable short time, in fact I don’t recall anything at all so here I’m , 1500 spent and nothing to show for it other than fun story of guy correctly connecting the dots. Soon after our 1 ½ hr. was over I left rolling my suitcase to Chong Nonsi. In airport I had enough time to treat myself with mango with sticky rice for 50 baht and soon I was on the Jomtien bus. In 4 hrs. door to door I was reporting at Copa. After excitements of yesterday and last night I had urge for a nap and only after dart at 7 pm I left my room heading to Salt and Pepper behind the Tukcom for my chicken with cashew nuts. Returned to Boyztown via almost deserted Sunee Plaza, leaving for another time invitation to step in Nice Boys. In front of BBB I noticed good looking , muscly and tall guy who immediately sensed my interest and started business negotiations right away. By time his and mine drinks arrived we already agreed on long time and a fee and that we will go to my room only after the show. While well built Lao boy, face was bit ordinary but I liked his energy and thought night appears to be promising not even having idea what will be next. Since I wanted to see show he suggested we take our drinks and go inside where on the stage about two dozen guys , fully dressed, were presenting themselves. I noticed pair, one bit cherubic , other more hooliganish . Not only they were attractive looking but from their interaction I sensed they must be very close friends. I liked it, can’t even say why but clearly I was drawn to them so told my Lao boy and mamasan standing beside to call both over for a drink. P and R , both Cambodians, just started recently . P, cherubic one from the distance , up close looked actually very, very handsome. But as I said it was not their looks but way they interact with each other which brought them to my attention and a table. I don’t recall who, me , Lao or mamasan came with idea of me taking them three but it was taken very well by guys specially Lao and R , one more rough of two. So after show I was presented with hefty bill, 3 off fees, 2 inside and 2 outside drinks , it was if I recall 2600 and off we went. As is my habit I asked if they want to eat, yes and Lao lead us to Metal Tables restaurant on 2nd rd on the way informing / not asking mind you , informing / that his sister will be joining us and soon she arrived, turned out she is bar girl too. Lao was very bossy type and not one who picks cheapest dishes , after were were done whatever was left he ordered to pack and handed over to his sister to my great relief as for a while I was afraid he will invite her to my room too ( P and R would like it for sure). But his body was great so I bear with those antics even if food bill was on quite high side which I did not mind as much as fact that he ordered way too much food clearly with idea to feed his sister at my expense. In the room there was no doubt who is the boss, Lao again telling boys what to do and kind of neglecting me but I have fun joining wherever I could, LOL. Eventually we split in two , Lao and Rh being more energetic and shameless , P and me more shy and romantic, he, he . Fact that I have executive room with bed and sofa helped a bit too. After fire was extinguished, Cambodian boys and as it turned out, close friends indeed so my instinct was right, collected their 1500 each and left leaving me at Lao mercy he thought , but this time I showed who is in charge and he relented, LOL. Very promising guy despite antics as body close to ideal but he spoiled whole experience just before dawn asking if he can go inventing some roommate moving out story. This is not what I understand by long time but eventually impatient with his wailing gave him his fee and let him go firmly noting “ no repeat “, great body or not - as such antics is thing I hate the most. So day 8 ended on a bit upset note for me.

    A Proper Return :)

Couture Both Bangkok Guy and I like clothes and take care how we dress. In other words, we are both gay. We both prefer a classic simple look, although I have a penchant for a splash of color while Bangkok Guy is strictly muted colors. This trip it was a multicolored belt which triggered him “Why you like?” in a tone suggesting that insanity hovered nearby. As I loathe shopping, have preferences for the cut of my clothes and enjoy choosing fabric, I like to use tailors and assemble what I want. As Bangkok Guy loves shopping and a bargain, he prefers pret-a-porter in markets. The culture shock of taking him to my tailor was entertaining. The genesis of this adventure came over dinner at Baan Suriyasai during my last trip when Bangkok Guy made a quiet comment in passing ‘Look like waiter’. He was wearing a new white Chinese collar shirt from Icon Siam and black pants, which did bare a family resemblance to the waiter’s outfit. However I think the motivation for the remark was less his outfit and more mine, as I was resplendent in fresh-from-the-tailor shirt and trousers. The objective was to get him an outfit he could wear to restaurants and the Bamboo Bar and not look like the waiter – blue blazer with gilt buttons, white trousers and tailored shirts. Bangkok Guy was curious but hesitant – ‘Not know how’ (to use a tailor). I explained that the objective was to get exactly the cut, cloth and fit he wanted, and found patterns online for collars, cuffs, trousers and jackets to give him an idea of the range of choices, assuring him the tailor could show him. The whole exercise (for the pair of us, as I had a suit made) took four fittings, two before we left on our travels and two the day we returned. The first source of amusement came from watching Bangkok Guy instruct the tailor. At the first fitting he was looking for guidance but after that, once it came to discussing the fit, he was in charge. The tailor is a pro, but I couldn’t help wondering how he felt about taking instructions from a young durian trader from Issan. It was all amicable and Bangkok Guy got the fit he wanted – generally looser than the Italian cut favored by the tailor. After the third fitting I complemented him on how well he was managing the fittings to get what he wanted. A slight smile “I watch you”. The second source of amusement was the conflict between Bangkok Guy’s love of economy and his love of the way he looked and felt in the tailored clothes. He looked fantastic and heading out to dinner for the first time in the blazer with a red-and-navy silk pocket square, white trousers and white shirt with blue-lined collar and placket, he was walking on air. Bangkok Guy feels powerless (a topic for another time), a feeling the clothes temporarily removed. He didn’t know what the clothes cost, but he knew it was too much, especially as he can only use them a couple of times a year when I visit. They are not practical everyday wear for selling durian. He raised his concern about costs over lunch after the first fitting. “Tailor too expensive”. “Being Falang is expensive” – which response was met by a completely unconvinced look. As with alcohol consumption, he understands that the problem is not a generic Falang issue, but is specific to his particular Falang. After all, I am neither unintelligent nor too old to learn more economical ways from him. He knows that with patience and humor, the old dog can be retrained. He showed me the website of a tailor offering a complete outfit for 2000bt. “Probably not good cloth, this tailor better”. He graciously changed the topic but did not give up and continued to suggest that for much less money he could get what he needed at a market. The only argument I had that made any headway was “But then we not same-same”. He likes the idea of being the same, not because of the clothes, but because of the implication that I want us to be closer. After that the tone of the conversation changed. The tailor is still too expensive and markets a much better option, but for a few pieces of clothing that enable us to be “same-same” at restaurants and jazz bars, it is acceptable that we use the tailor. And, now he has had time to think about it, he would like a pair of trousers-with-braces like mine, as long as the braces are in muted colors. He thinks the braces are cute. I told him I will bring him a pair of braces next trip, so a further visit to the tailor is on the agenda. I am not going to tell him the cost of Trafalgar woven silk braces, as (i) he would call it off and (ii) my sanity, already in question, would look distinctly shaky.

  47. Day 9 started with shopping and walking around Pratunam area. Came across an electronics stall and saw a karaoke microphone with lights and bluetooth function. Bought it on the spot. After shopping back to hotel for rest. At 9pm headed off to Hotmale bar. Aung is off today. Got my Chang draught beer from Alex and I presented him with the karaoke microphone. He was so shy when he received it. Thanked me so much. I asked him to turn it on but he kept saying he was shy to sing loudly in public. I took the chance to ask him what he was doing on his off day this Thursday. He said he would be busy moving. He is moving to a bigger apartment. I guess i will have to wait for another time to take him out for karaoke. My 3rd night in a row at Hotmale beer bar. Great location to see the Dreamboys guys when they come out after their rotation on stage. They are topless and I can admire their muscled bodies. I even saw the tattooed guy who used to do the merman show at Classic and then moved to Lucky Boys for big cock show. Glad that he still had a job, presumably at Dreamboys big cock show. At 10pm I went into Hotmale gogo bar. 8 to 10 guys in jeans. Saw one handsome boy. No.5. I called him over immediately. Name is V. From Cambodia. Average body but very very handsome. 28 years old. Speaks good English. I bought him a drink. He ordered Leo beer. "Short Time 2000 ok?" I went straight to the point. Yes and he signalled to mamasan. Mamasans at Hotmale are not dressed formally unlike most other bars. They wear the same outfit as the waiters! V finished his bottle of beer before we left. "You like to drink?" I asked. "Yes, you have beer in hotel?" "No beer but I have whisky!" I replied and he was all smiles. We walked across the hotel lobby and I waved cheerfully to the two ladies on duty at reception. I wonder what they think of me bringing back different guys every night. In room, I asked V to shower while I poured and mixed two glasses of Jack Daniels. We drank and had our fun. V wasn't a kisser unfortunately but it was still an enjoyable session. After he left, I fell asleep. End of Day 9. Pretty ordinary day with no significant life-changing events.

  48. YT just recommended MAMA GOGO to me. As best I can tell it's not really gay, but former singing starlet with big boobs inherits gogo bar that caters to women. So lots of shirtless hot men might be of interest

  49. As a follow-up, even though I thought about giving the boy the benefit of the doubt and that he asked for payment in advance just for fear of being cheated, I heeded your advice and moved on to the next boy, who is 19 years old, from Isan, in Bangkok to study (he told me). He used to work part-time in a restaurant, lost his job due to Covid, never worked in a boy bar before. We chatted on Grindr, he seems nice and very accommodating, answering all the questions without attitude. Asked for 2000 then agreed with 1500. So I told him to come to my hotel. I didn't know that at that point @jason1975 was doing more or less the same thing, in the same hotel (just different floor). I got lazy so I copied his narration Anyway, I could tell that the boy was really into me. He was all over me the moment I closed the door. He kept giggling and holding my face with both hands, saying "you are nice". After sex, we cuddled a little and a couple of times I tried to get up (it was time for me to hit the gym), he held me back for a few more minutes. When I gave him the money (the agreed amount + 200B for travel), he said in his broken English: "I like you but not as customer" hehe, so we are like brothers with benefits now? All in all, a happy ending.
