Day 9 When he left I felt like not sleeping even if it was only dawning so kept myself busy in the room with trip chores but biology can’t be cheated much and at 8 went to bed again to sleep till well past 10 am. For breakfast I went to Salt and Pepper since I like restaurant and proprietor even if it was a bit of walk. Then I made round through central Pattaya and coming back to Copa by soi 2 in front of Paradise Spa, just beside former Happy Place I noticed guy standing and smiling at me. “Do you remember me ? “ he asked , “of course Suwit , I do” said I. He was one of my heroes of Aug 2019 trip chalking off 3 long times in row , obviously returning to his old workplace. Never saw him after and I was very happy with that unexpected reunion. I couldn’t engage him today but promised to come for massage tomorrow and also secured long time with him for tomorrow’s night. It turned out that he saw me marching to restaurant with 3 guys last night so was kind on watch out for me today. While walking around I took fancy to find good looking guy on Grindr and invited him to my room accepting his request for 1300 consideration. That was reason I couldn’t spent more time with Suwit. He showed up on time but honestly , second day in row I had Grindr guy and second time I don’t remember almost anything from our encounter. My notes are saying that he had great body but I did not like his childish behavior and probably was not pinched so much in my entire life. So those cheap encounters have bit useless side for me if they are not leaving any memories. After he left I felt hungry , on my way to Bay View restaurant on Bitch (spelling ?) Road I invited Suwit sitting in front of his shop to join me if only to land myself in trouble as he somehow knew or guessed rightly that I just met a guy and condemned me by saying ‘ you Casanova , you” . Tonight I was planning to spent a night in Jomtien complex and taking advantage of cheap rates before I left home I rented room in The Venue just in case to avoid late night trips. So went there by baht bus stopped on Beach Rd , leaving my things in Copa and on arrival went to 7/11 to buy two toothbrushes, toothpaste and a soap ( I don’t like those liquid garbages). Then went to see Nara, hero of 5 LT offs in December to report I’m here which he already knew because he spied me on the Grindr and secured his Long Time presence tonight. Now you know what second toothbrush was for. Told him to wait for me and promised if later he will be busy with client I wait for him. Gave him 100 baht to buy himself something to eat, slipped the same into jeans of another guy there who was smiling at me and whose face I recognized from Grindr. For now I went to @home bar where soon after aussie_ was supposed to arrive and in fact minute or wo after I sat down I saw him approaching. So we spent next hour or two exchanging news, drinking beer , admiring boys and observing traffic in the lane. It was fairly busy in the Complex tonight. Before 11 we waved good bye till next time, aussie went his way and I went to Nara’s shop to pay 300 off fee and take him with me via 7/11 as he wanted some snacks. Nara is known quality so we had quite passionate time together but managed to catch some sleep as well, morning round ended my day 9 on happy but bit exhausted note as sleeping with him is usually busy affair.9 points

Reciprocity Bangkok Guy is good for me. This is not just my opinion but also that of friends. Beyond being generally happy that I know him, he is slowly changing some of my habits and mind sets for the better. I no longer bolt down my food but put my cutlery down and pause between mouthfuls. I no longer feel compelled to eat and drink until the table is clear and the bottle empty. Following Bangkok Guy’s example, I now stop when I feel full without guilt about the leftovers. I am still organized by the clock independently of the day’s agenda – if it is x o’clock I must be up, or have accomplished y – but a little less so. Bangkok Guy is organized by the day’s agenda, not the clock, and if the agenda is empty he feels no compulsion to fill it but rather relaxes into the empty space. A little of this is rubbing off on me. A little. I told Bangkok Guy this and it made him happy as it was reciprocal “You very good for me”, in a tone that sounded like a major statement. I know his life is not easy. He is responsible for his mother and younger sister – he has pawned the ring-that-was-a-dragon to pay his sister’s school fees. Still, he is usually upbeat and cheerful so it surprised me (alarmed rather) when relaxing on the deck at Koh Lipe after a very enjoyable day snorkeling he said his head was so full of ‘pobpems’ that there was room for no more, illustrating this by filling a glass to the top with water “No more room”. Right then it did not seem the time to press the issue. However back in Bangkok over dinner at Baan Suriyasai, the first outing in his tailored clothes, I enquired. “No worry, it nothing, I exaggerate”. “No, it is something. I want to understand”. A pause while he searches for words. “What my future? I not know. Have no power”. The issue is that without my support, if I drop dead or drop him, he would be in trouble, back to hand-to-mouth. He has several business ideas, but lacks the capital to initiate any of them. He has no power to change his situation. Well, he has a little power, he has my goodwill. I reassure him that our discussion in January still holds true. As I get new business, I will help him with the capital he needs. There is no guarantee on timing, but it will happen. He has proof that if I say something I follow through as this year, as travel opened up and business picked up, I increased his allowance. He is a realist and knows the future is uncertain, but there is something here to hope for so, as a generally optimistic person, he is happy. The importance of helping him get to a point where he has some independence (‘power’ in his words) is very clear. And as cost cutting is just as good and possibly more permanent than increasing income, I am going to try to adopt his frugal mindset to free up some cash. (That crashing sound is a friend falling off his chair laughing, ye of little faith!).8 points

How to be Gay Bangkok Guy is very boy-next-door and not obviously gay. He is very nice, polite, considerate and takes responsibility seriously. The fact that he dresses well, takes care of his skin and checks himself out in handy reflective surfaces might or might not be slight tells. He does not do anything to overtly identify as gay – no rainbow stripes anywhere. I got him an Apple watch this trip. My suggestion to get him a watch as he has wanted one for some time, his suggestion that it be an Apple. My watch ideas were too “for boss” which in this instance was less about the power structure and more about age. The Apple store was displaying a range of Pride watches, but these did not hold his attention. He got a dark case with a dark metallic mesh strap – classic and clean. The major tell occurs when we are in any form of transport together. He automatically holds my hand, sleeps on my shoulder, or puts his head in my lap. He has done this since we first met. In his mind it is totally the done thing and normal. So far there have been no negative reactions and a few positive ones, for example a stewardess smiling as he slept on my shoulder. We had to overnight in Hat Yai on the way to Koh Lipe and I wondered in the South, more Muslim and conservative, if he would modify his behavior. He has been to Hat Yai in the past to see relatives and stay at a temple, so he knew the lay of the land. “No pork, eat chicken or fish”. No modification at all, and also no consequences. We discussed plans for international travel and I pointed out that in some countries gay people are not popular and he could not use me as a human pillow. “Not go” was the instant and definite response, which surprised me given how keen he is to travel. I tested his resolve. The Serengeti is in Tanzania and Kenya, neither of which is gay friendly. In January after I showed him pictures he was very keen to go. “Tanzania and Kenya, you cannot use me as pillow”. “Not go”. To me, accustomed to modifying my behavior as necessary, this level of resolve is quite an eye opener. We went over the list of places to which Thais can travel without visas to see if any might be ‘human pillow friendly’ and came up with a revised list of destinations. However, even in this list I have difficulty imagining ‘human pillow’ being greeted with the same nonchalance as it is in Thailand. Bangkok Guy is keen to travel, but as himself. I hope it is possible.7 points

Good news, now it just needs to be published in the royal gazette and the Thai pass and insurance will not be required after July 1st. My trip for early next year just received a boost. From Richard Barrow: The CCSA has announced that the Thailand Pass will stop being required from 1st July onwards. People also don’t need to buy insurance. However, you may have to show vaccination documents or test results if asked. This will continue while the emergency decree remains. You also won’t be required to wear masks outdoors or in well ventilated places. There will be exceptions like crowded places. Entertainment venues can stay open until 2am and hotels can sell alcohol during the afternoon. More updates soon. Please note, as usual this isn’t law until it’s published in the royal gazette.6 points

When T and I arrived at Tawan, every Tawan guy was already in jockstrap! Crazy atmosphere. About 10 or so customers. Some of them could not believe what they were seeing. @flashbarryallen was seated in centre with some Tawan guys and 2 bottles of Jack Daniels open. T and I went to sit with them and were given straws. The judging had already started. 3 Tawan guys would go up on stage at a time and flex and pose and audience members gave them straws if they approved. Lots of creative ways to give the straws. Yes, The Vinapu Tuck was seen several times. There was a Tawan staff acting as the host and dictating proceedings. After all Tawan guys had their chance to showcase themselves, normal Tawan show started - ladyboy singing, big cock show, etc. But today's show is shortened to make way for Final Round of Jockstrap Night. 4 Tawan guys with most straws in first round were invited on stage and audience members had a wild time giving their straws to their favourites. Top 3 revealed and @flashbarryallen and I presented 1000-baht garlands on the winners. We also invited a farang customer to give out one garland. Wild racuous night. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Lots of tipping by the two debaunched individuals who had organised this event. Both used up all 100-baht notes in wallets and pockets. At midnight, bar had to close. T and I accompanied @flashbarryallen back to Raya to make sure he got back safely. He had been drinking non-stop the whole night. As we were walking along Surawong Road, Tawan bottom guy shouted "Hi" to us as he rode his Vespa scooter past us. Cute guy is smallest size among Tawan guys and he genuinely enjoy being bottom in the shows. Satisfied that @flashbarryallen was alright, T and I went back to hotel room for our time together until the next morning.6 points

Communication My name is being called urgently with the cute mangling of a consonant that tells me it is Bangkok Guy who wants me. We are due to go snorkeling in ten minutes and ensconced in reception with a coffee, a sea view and my laptop I have lost track of time. Bangkok Guy knows that I sometimes loose track of time when I work and he is rounding me up. Just as I nudge him along when we have an early start and get the inevitable “mpfh, few minute” as he smiles and snuggles back down (I know from experience he will be more-or-less on time). As I stand it feels like a knife has gone through my intestines. I have been eating higher-spiced local Thai food for over a week now and my stomach has begun to protest. Eating Thai food with Bangkok Guy is like eating with a highly vigilant food taster. It is a cannon of his belief that Falang cannot eat spicy food and he needs to protect me from it, steering me away from particularly spicy dishes and weeding out particularly hot peppers. My stomach is telling me he has a point, and I reluctantly tell him to go snorkeling without me. A day’s break from each other turns out to be a good thing. He has a great time exploring the waters off several islands with the instructor and a Thai couple, a welcome rest from having to think in English. I spend the day in a hammock reading, enjoying doing precisely nothing. We decide to have dinner on the beach at Idyllic, an up-market treat of fresh-caught fish accompanied by a very good singer/guitarist. Bangkok Guy shares the instructor’s pics of the expedition, great shots of him with many colorful fish. And then we sit and stare at each other because we have run not out of conversation, but out of words. It’s not the first time, and after this many days together it is becoming obvious. Because we observe each other we understand each other well in simple things and we are in tune with each other’s mood. However, if we are going to keep moving forward we have to improve our ability to communicate. It is not the first time that better communication would make things smoother. A few nights earlier Bangkok Guy decided he was going to sleep cuddling a pillow, not me. We both enjoy cuddling, so this is surprising. “Why cuddle pillow not me?” “Pillow small” ?? “I take pillow” and we wrestled for control of the pillow until we are laughing so hard tears are rolling down our cheeks. Bangkok Guy likes these contests of strength which usually occur over the remote or preventing him from tickling me and I always win, eventually, but not this time as while I have the two arms with which to pin him down I lack the third arm required to seize the pillow and the contest ends with him grinning at me over the pillow, reveling in his triumph. None of which explains why he is cuddling the pillow. Feeling a little hurt I decide to sleep on it. With Bangkok Guy if I do not understand something time usually reveals what is going on. I wake in the morning way over on my side of the bed with the pillow hard against my back and Bangkok Guy asleep on the pillow. I turn over and find I am cuddling the pillow and am pleasantly in contact with Bangkok Guy. “Pillow small” now makes sense. It is very comfortable and, as the light of understanding breaks I see it solves two problems that have been causing us to sleep apart and not sleep well. The hotels in both Bangkok and Chang Mai had covered duvets, not a separate duvet and sheet. Bangkok Guy likes sleeping under the duvet but after some time cuddled up close under a duvet I get too hot and, without the option of separating the duvet from the sheet, we end up sleeping apart. To compound matters, this trip I am snoring more because I have let some of the Covid pounds I got rid of before the January trip slip back on. I could do with loosing ten pounds. The snoring is not the issue as much as the dribbling from sleeping open-mouthed. The pillow is comfortable, Bangkok Guy and I are in physical contact, I am not over-heating and any dribble is on the pillow. Bangkok Guy has discovered an effective heat and dribble barrier. Life would be smoother if he could communicate that to me. We agree that by my next trip I have to master basic Thai and Bangkok Guy needs to improve his English. If anyone has any recommendations for how to learn Thai, please let me know.4 points -
Made my first visit to I-Come massage, a shop operated by those folks who bring us K-Man and KK massage. Located on Soi Suan Plu (diagonally opposite Convent Road) off Sathorn, it’s about a 20-minute walk from Silom. I was greeted by an Isan guy, Bee, who immediately understood what I wanted when I told him I didn’t want oil on this hot and sticky afternoon. This surprised me because most guys automatically revert to Thai massage when I say that. The room was on the third floor with a new, round shower stall with warm water. As we got to talking, he told me used to work at the since closed Nakarat shop on Soi 4. That had been my favorite shop and was known for its stable of Thai, Vietnamese and Lao guys. Things began to click for me when he told me he remembered four of the Viet guys (among others) that I used to use there. Bee, who only returned to Bangkok three weeks earlier, has a wonderfully firm body that you can only get from doing hard manual labor. It cried out to be massaged and that’s what I spent 10 minutes doing. Bottle of water on arrival (and much appreciated after the walk over). I’m happy to give this shop—and this guy—a thumbs up.👍 Facebook link below. Inside their pants when I can, although one diminutive twink on stage in Cupidol in Boyztown seemed a little hesitant, and when I pulled open his pants to stuff the note inside, and take a quick peek inside of course, the poor lad had a ball of scrunched-up toilet-roll down there to 'enhance' his allure on stage 😂 (didn't put me off offing him on future occasions)4 points

across the soi, once at BBB during big cock show when that went to audience to look for tips I rolled 100 baht note around his impressive cock only to be shocked because if was silicon thing which promptly fell down revealing flaccid cock inside. Guy in question , equally shocked by faulty equipment run away. Ever since I'm not big fan of this type of show, too much of cock mutilation involved.3 points

Some interesting facts to confirm after just returning from this venue: - Bar off fee does exist, but it's set at 2000THB to offset lost earnings of drinks. No, this off fee does not include tip. I did not have any tip negotiation conversations tonight. - On the other hand, it does seem like they are given a script to follow. If a customer asks about taking back to hotel, they're supposed to say, "I take good care of you here," as a polite deflection. I think off fee only is discussed by rather persistent customers. - It's completely acceptable to get the Line ID of a guy you buy a drink for. - Lots of guys on offer to drink with, some cute guys in shirts and some twunky shirtless guys. - Sexy boy part of show was indeed sexy with way more peeks under the towel than I'd ever seen at other towel dance venues. However, it was abysmally short as it was limited to towel show and soda water show. - Soda water show is definitely sexy and I had no hesitation to buy two bottles for a total of 100THB in order to see the guy of my night gyrate and have his appendage become more visible with each bottle of water that traveled down his chiseled chest and sexy abdomen. He sold the fantasy completely. Money well spent for me, though I know others might disagree. - I was hesitant to believe that they could actually stay open until 4am. However, once you exit the main venue and go into the reception area, all the lights are off and you would be hard pressed to know any business activity was happening inside. Great design choice on their part. - There are at least two guys there currently who can speak good English...one Thai and one Cambodian. There are pictures of the Cambodian on Facebook...chiseled defined abs and curly hair. Still hot but less intimidating than in pictures. Sweet guy. - To have a drink with a guy for about an hour, you will have to pay 250THB. There is no begging for tips to be found from any of the staff. - Music volume levels become deafening as night passes on. Abominably hard to carry on conversation. - They try to bleed you dry by not including the cost of mixers and ice into bottle service. You need to be insistent that they stop bringing mixers because they do it without you asking to get as many baht out of you as possible. This soiled the experience a bit. - Show was quoted as starting at midnight, but in reality was 12:30. Sexy boy show quoted as being at 1, but it was also delayed. Their logic is that the other boy bars close at midnight, so they wait for those customers to leave other bars and come to Dragon. Overall, I'm torn. A few stunning guys there made the experience worth it, but a lot of the other faults make it a near complete skip. The three reasons I'll go back are: 1. I didn't finish my bottle of Black Label, and I didn't feel like bringing it back to my hotel. No corkage fee if bottle is kept on site. 2. One guy who I invited to drink and who performed in both segments of the sexy show was charming, though not nearly as much so as guys from Tawan. Those guys are pros who know how to pull at the heartstrings. Despite that, he's sweet enough and easy enough on the eyes that I will suffer the negatives just to see him again. Note: I'm still waiting on a response to my Line message to him on whether it's possible to meet him when he's not working. 3. Soda water show is perfect for a guy like me who likes interactive shows and a little left to the imagination.3 points -
@flashbarryallen arrived and we left Hotmale beer bar to get the jockstraps. Luckily we waited and didn't buy from the first stall. Stall outside Soi 4 sells them at 100 baht each. Similar promotion. Buy 10 get 1 free. @flashbarryallen and I were shamelessly picking the sexiest jockstraps in public. T stood a distance away from us. What are these silly fellows doing? After buying jockstraps, we had dinner. T took us to the other side of Silom Road for some local food. Yummy and cheap. After dinner, we went to Jupiter. Poppy sings on Wednesday so I wanted to watch him. I saw customers from my visit on Saturday. Thai guy who ordered bottle service. Plus the other guy who offed 2 Jupiter guys. In the VIP private table by the side, there were two fellows with bottle service. No Jupiter guy seated with them. Only mamasan. They looked so serious with masks on except when they drank. Had a chance to see one round of Jupiter guys runway walk before Poppy started singing. Only 9 guys at 9.30pm. T was brutally frank when he scrutinise Jupiter guys. "Handsome but plastic surgery." Poppy sang for about 15 minutes then Jupiter guys came out for runway walk and pattern would repeat. "Any song requests?" Poppy asked. "Careless Whisper," @flashbarryallen said and Poppy obliged. T whispers into my ear, "This song is shower sex show song in my bar last time." Savage and bitchy! @flashbarryallen leaves just before 10pm to get ready for Tawan jockstrap show. T and I stayed at Jupiter. At 10.30pm, Jupiter show starts. I got up and chatted with Poppy as well as tipped him. "See you again in December during Christmas," I told him. @flashbarryallen sends me a message on Line. Come quickly. Jockstrap Night has started!3 points

Day 8 After collecting their fee we went to world famous for breakfast and soon their friend happened to pass by seeing them through the window so I asked him to join us too. Returned to hotel to pack mindful that I need to release room at 12 but at 10 I will have guest – that guy who crossed red light to my condemning look yesterday at Lumpini. He was on the dot. Tall and handsome but most of that charm disappeared when he removed the mask. In short , in mask he looked much , much better. Very unremarkable short time, in fact I don’t recall anything at all so here I’m , 1500 spent and nothing to show for it other than fun story of guy correctly connecting the dots. Soon after our 1 ½ hr. was over I left rolling my suitcase to Chong Nonsi. In airport I had enough time to treat myself with mango with sticky rice for 50 baht and soon I was on the Jomtien bus. In 4 hrs. door to door I was reporting at Copa. After excitements of yesterday and last night I had urge for a nap and only after dart at 7 pm I left my room heading to Salt and Pepper behind the Tukcom for my chicken with cashew nuts. Returned to Boyztown via almost deserted Sunee Plaza, leaving for another time invitation to step in Nice Boys. In front of BBB I noticed good looking , muscly and tall guy who immediately sensed my interest and started business negotiations right away. By time his and mine drinks arrived we already agreed on long time and a fee and that we will go to my room only after the show. While well built Lao boy, face was bit ordinary but I liked his energy and thought night appears to be promising not even having idea what will be next. Since I wanted to see show he suggested we take our drinks and go inside where on the stage about two dozen guys , fully dressed, were presenting themselves. I noticed pair, one bit cherubic , other more hooliganish . Not only they were attractive looking but from their interaction I sensed they must be very close friends. I liked it, can’t even say why but clearly I was drawn to them so told my Lao boy and mamasan standing beside to call both over for a drink. P and R , both Cambodians, just started recently . P, cherubic one from the distance , up close looked actually very, very handsome. But as I said it was not their looks but way they interact with each other which brought them to my attention and a table. I don’t recall who, me , Lao or mamasan came with idea of me taking them three but it was taken very well by guys specially Lao and R , one more rough of two. So after show I was presented with hefty bill, 3 off fees, 2 inside and 2 outside drinks , it was if I recall 2600 and off we went. As is my habit I asked if they want to eat, yes and Lao lead us to Metal Tables restaurant on 2nd rd on the way informing / not asking mind you , informing / that his sister will be joining us and soon she arrived, turned out she is bar girl too. Lao was very bossy type and not one who picks cheapest dishes , after were were done whatever was left he ordered to pack and handed over to his sister to my great relief as for a while I was afraid he will invite her to my room too ( P and R would like it for sure). But his body was great so I bear with those antics even if food bill was on quite high side which I did not mind as much as fact that he ordered way too much food clearly with idea to feed his sister at my expense. In the room there was no doubt who is the boss, Lao again telling boys what to do and kind of neglecting me but I have fun joining wherever I could, LOL. Eventually we split in two , Lao and Rh being more energetic and shameless , P and me more shy and romantic, he, he . Fact that I have executive room with bed and sofa helped a bit too. After fire was extinguished, Cambodian boys and as it turned out, close friends indeed so my instinct was right, collected their 1500 each and left leaving me at Lao mercy he thought , but this time I showed who is in charge and he relented, LOL. Very promising guy despite antics as body close to ideal but he spoiled whole experience just before dawn asking if he can go inventing some roommate moving out story. This is not what I understand by long time but eventually impatient with his wailing gave him his fee and let him go firmly noting “ no repeat “, great body or not - as such antics is thing I hate the most. So day 8 ended on a bit upset note for me.3 points

This trip was planned in outline by Bangkok Guy and then refined by me as I encountered the reality of logistics in Thailand. All air routes pass through Bangkok, you can’t simply fly direct city-to-city, and this consumes a lot of time. It was not possible to fit Bangkok Guy’s top three destinations into ten days and we settled on two, Chang Mai and Koh Lipe, with an overnight transit stop in Hat Yai because the flight arrivals and boat departures do not match up if your starting point is Chang Mai and you have to travel via Bangkok. No Covid issues this time. Bangkok Guy is double-vaccinated, Moderna as the second shot, bright eyed and looking forward to our trip. He has been helping his sister sell durian ‘It good business’, except his sister likes durian and eats some of the stock, which amuses him. As I am with Bangkok Guy and not having daily bar-scene adventures I have experimented with the format of this report. Rather than write the report chronologically, after an initial touristic overview I have structured it by themes. As usual we visited the jazz bars. I still can’t find a calendar of who is playing where, which is frustrating. We tried the Crimson Room for the first time and found Norwood Young and his band were the act. He was excellent, great voice and quite a showman. Bangkok Guy loved it, so we returned after our travels but found a Thai singer who was good but not Norwood Young. Bamboo Bar was excellent as always. As in January Peter the resident pianist (I could listen to him all night) was backing Thai vocalists who were good but did not have quite the lungs and range of the vocalists in January. This was a disappointment to Bangkok Guy who particularly likes vocals that you could dance to if there was a dance floor. Bangkok Guy informs me that if you can’t dance to it, it “old people jazz” (which he still likes). Our first night in Chang Mai Bangkok Guy was excited to go to the Sunday night market. He loves markets. It was large and fun. In addition to the shopping there was a lot of activity at Wat Chedi Luang. We bought flowers to offer and, assisted by a monk, Bangkok Guy hauled a water container up a rope pully to tip over the ruined chedi. We returned to our hotel very late and Bangkok Guy discovered the night security guard was a guide (Bangkok Guy chats to everybody), so the next day he took us on a tour of the temples, a great restaurant in a garden by a reservoir, and shopping. The low tourist numbers were painfully obvious in the shops-geared-for-tourists to which he took us. Large complexes in which we were the only customers. Koh Lipe I highly recommend, but we will not be returning as Bangkok Guy did not like the hour long boat ride. The route is a two hour ride in a van from Hat Yai to Pak Barra on a good road, followed by an hour in a speed boat to Koh Lipe. Picture a gutted cabin cruiser with one large open space holding seating for around 30-40 people and four massive outboard motors. On the way there the sea had a slight swell which resulted in some exciting bumps even with an experienced driver, which in turn lead to a few cases of mild seasickness, one of whom was Bangkok Guy. Despite a room right next to the water with a view-to-die-for, excellent food, great snorkeling and it generally being a great place, Bangkok Guy did not forgive the seasickness. On the return trip the sea was like glass and it was wonderful. Still no forgiveness. I would return in a heartbeat and will try to bribe Bangkok Guy with the Idyllic Resort which we found just down the beach from our resort. “We can move here?” he asked hopefully. The attraction was air-conditioning versus fans. The return flight to Bangkok was an hour late due to weather. Approaching Bangkok the turbulence was uncomfortable – Bangkok Guy gripped my arm like a drowning sailor while I played at being calm and stoic. The cause of the turbulence became clear after the pilot made a U-turn into the landing approach. We had skirted a sizeable thunder storm with lightening the likes of which I have never before seen – massive, thick, bright white bolts that made me visualize pools of molten glass wherever they struck. After washing off the day’s travel at the hotel we headed out to Silom for Issan food. I got the feeling that Bangkok Guy is not often in this part of Bangkok anymore, several times he was not so sure finding his way around, and this was one of these occasions. No Issan food where he expected it. We ended up at Fork and Cork, which we liked. Since we were in the area, why not visit Jupiter? I wanted to see a show and Bangkok Guy was happy to go along as he likes the Jupiter guys more than I do. He likes buff. About ten guys in great shape. Good acts. A very thin crowd. Four or five young women front row at one end of the stage, two small mixed groups along the right-side front row, three guys on the left side and Bangkok Guy and I seated a little further back. However Bangkok Guy did not get into playing the ‘Which guy you want?’ game and his body language became stiff. When I suggested we go he almost leapt from his seat. I have not taken him to a bar since the very early days of our relationship, wanting to spare him any possible loss of face at being perceived as a ‘boy du jour’ and possible discomfort if I too-visibly found a guy attractive. Although none of the guys really appealed to me, the longer we stayed in the bar the more uncomfortable he was, particularly as I was trying to figure out if I thought #86 was attractive or not (conclusion, yes) causing my attention to be too focused. Bangkok Guy and I are firm fans of Baan Suriyasai and that did not change this trip. We tried the Blue Elephant and while I would recommend it there were many people, so not a private dining experience, and it is a fraction Euro-centric. The wait staff automatically focused on me, while in Baan Suriyasai they focus on Bangkok Guy. The limopattaya were great as usual, taking us to-and-from the airport and also around Bangkok in the evenings between restaurants and jazz bars. For the first time ever on my departure Bangkok Guy decided he would keep the hotel room and check out after breakfast the next morning. I left him happily snuggled under the duvet.2 points

I didn't make it tonight but it's certainly on the agenda for tomorrow. Waiters at Boyztown bars did attribute Boyztown being empty tonight to the Jomtien pride party. Despite all that, Boys Boys Boys was packed tonight for the show.2 points -

I was only once in Rio for a long week-end and stayed in one of the hotels by Copacabana Beach. On Sunday morning I took an expensive cab in to the centre just to walk around and see the city. It was a beautiful sunny day. I had taken off anything of value and just wore a T-shirt, shorts and sandals. I was walking past a church which was quite literally packed to overflowing when I heard running footsteps behind me, quickly followed by a hand over my mouth and another on my neck. It was only then I realised I had totally forgotten to take off the gold neck chain I had been wearing for a couple of decades. I rarely took it off as I had bought it in Singapore and the strong clasp was very difficult to undo. The thief had clearly seen it glint in the sunlight under my T-shirt. As my mugger pulled hard to try and dislodge it, I shouted for help. Three men standing in the lobby of the nearby church came rushing towards me. Within moments the thief had run off. Just a second later my neck chain fell to the ground! What really surprised me was that a police car was on the scene within less than a minute. But it was really my fault for not having taken the chain off, so I thanked everyone in my very basic Portuguese, especially the guys from the church. As @z909 has said, I cannot recall ever thinking about being robbed in Thailand over the decades i have been visiting and living in the country. And I never have been robbed.2 points

Good questions @12is12 Taking care includes light physical. I was able to feel pecs and washboard abs, but I got the impression that trying to inspect manhood was a no no. There was no naughtiness to be seen. While I'm sure pecks on the cheek would be acceptable, the guy will most likely not initiate. I'm sure that when they learn about the job, they are told they only need to drink with customers. As far as asking for Line ID, I imagine their boilerplate I take care of you line is forgotten once work hours are over. I'm still waiting on confirmation of this. If I had to guess, there are probably a percentage of guys there who make a decent amount where going with customers is not necessary, but with some investigation, a few can be found who are willing to do some special gigs when not working. .2 points -

Can we still pick up MBs from Lumpini park nowaday? Still, but much more limited because of the apps. 20 years ago, it was the only way for us to find MBs. These days, there are 2 parks in Hanoi: Thong Nhat park and Hoa Binh park, the former located near the city center and much more accessible to foreigners. But again, I don't think you guys should venture out there on your own without a local friend to "chaperone". FYI: the on-going rate in these parks could be as low as 2 USD for a bj, 5 USD for ST and 10 USD for LT. Boys are mostly straight, fresh from a rural province, trying to survive in a big city. Actually, since a picture's worth a thousand words, I went ahead tonight and took some pictures there in the Thong Nhat park, so you guys would have some ideas. All four boys in the pictures are MBs.2 points -
In addition, a minor complication had developed for this jockstrap event. The Tawan staff who bought the jockstraps was down with Covid and nobody was going to his place to collect the jockstraps. So @flashbarryallen would have to buy them! Not a big problem. We just have to wait for underwear stalls at Silom Road to open in evening. But hang on, I asked @flashbarryallen "Why can they ask another staff to buy?" Shrugged shoulders. Welcome to Thailand. Next, regarding the prizes. I suggested awarding them in the form of 1000-baht garlands. I had wooden pegs and string and that's how @flashbarryallen ended up in my hotel room at Le Meridien. I showed him the room and he was impressed by it. He is staying at Raya. Le Meridien more modern and comfortable but of course nothing beats Raya's infamous glass shower. Both hotels unfortunately require guests to cross busy road to get to bars and Michelin star restaurant. At 6pm, @flashbarryallen and I proceeded to Tawan to speak to the staff. The guys at the entrance were bewildered and didn't know what we were talking about. Eventually old-timer mamasan appeared and we spoke to him. We showed him our sample garland and gave him the wooden pegs. No staples please. We want the deserving winners to be able to get their cash prizes easily after the show. @flashbarryallen passed the money in 1000-baht notes in advance. The bar will have to change them to 100-baht notes and prepare 6 garlands in advance. We also gave them paper coloured straws for the audience voting. We decided that every audience member will receive straws and they can insert straws in the guys jockstraps to choose their favourite. From Tawan, @flashbarryallen and I walked through Soi 6 to Silom Road. There was one stall selling underwear at 150 baht each. Buy 10 and get 1 free. I knew there was another stall outside Soi 4 so we walked there to check their selection and prices. They were there but had just arrived and were setting up their table and lights. So we ended at HotMale beer bar. I formally introduced Alex. @flashbarryallen decided to go back to Raya to have shower and get ready for this special night. I got out my handphone and started typing trip report for yesterday i.e. Day 10.2 points

Day 6 As I mentioned before for few days guy from Grindr is sending me question ‘ do you want massage?”. He doesn’t have nick but headless photo of his body is enticing , he confirmed that it’s his so I decided, encouraged no doubt by Guardian Angel to take a chance on him. Early massage , at 10.30 he knocked to my room and right away I knew Angel was involved since we hit it right away. Handsome, rather athletic than muscular, talkative in good English, soon it turned out his massage is superb and it seems the he likes me. Wow, considering age and looks difference. In short , gem, thank you Angel . We exchanged Line, where he uses Besty nick. He said he is more tennis instructor and partner than massage freelancer. Fee very modest at 1500 and he was not in rush to go at all. No doubt we will meet him again. Unfortunately not keen on long time at all, it always be must be that something. If he were , chance are this trip would look quite different. Yes , he threw at me that KFC insult but is forgiven before he even opened mouth Energized I walked a bit around the Silom and Patpong , exchanged money in XONE on Suriwong, passed through Silom market in soi 8 but did not go too far because in meantime X lined me if I’m interested to see him again today. Money be damned , answer was yessssssssssssss ! He showed up at 3 pm. And I had more fun than last night even, worth every satang even if we are talking a lot of satangs here. Funny thing , worth more scientific research , he turned out to be ticklish in few places where for sure he was not last night? Imagine wrestling such a hunk just to make sure he is ticklish indeed. After good 2.5 hrs we got hungry and went to G’Bangkok , soi 4 for a dinner . With our table outside it was very obvious he is head turner, even proprietor noticed it and whispered “ where you got that guy ? Interestingly he opted for typical German fare, sausage with something and he liked it , mentioning that even week after as our 2nd meeting was definitely the last. After dinner we parted ways. I decided to take circular way to soi 3 but at corner of Suriwong and soi 6 it started raining. How not to get wet in absence of umbrella ? There are two solutions, cheap and pleasant. Cheap- to buy umbrella at 7/11 was dismissed as wasteful spending and I opted to take massage in Tawan around the corner. I was expecting M from my day 1 but it turned out he is not there but Ten is on duty. Ten is real bodybuilder, not a shrinking violet at all. For those attending show at Tawan he is one making candle show. I was prepared for serious mutilation considering substantial body mass at his disposal but massage turned out to be very skillful, no need to say energetic. And fun as he is quite talkative , knew that I had massage with M and offed two boys from Tawan already so if we think we are anonymous shadows , better not to be naïve. By time we were done rain was over but not before he threw KFC insult, my 2nd such humiliation today at price of 500 for massage and 1500 tip. Three fantastic encounters so far made me happy and thirsty for more so instead going to hotel I continued walking and on Silom in mouth of soi 2 there was another hunk distributing Paradise massage leaflets so I said to myself see what happens. This time not much, while body was great and kind of accessible even if he is straight and proudly showed me picture of his daughter, massage was bit cursory and so were afters. Cost and tip the same like in Tawan but only memorable part was third today KFC insult and few minutes after when I was paying massage fee at reception , fourth. I need to find hardware shop , buy some rope and hang myself thought I in meantime grinning semi happily thinking what bar should be in my rotation tonight since I did not visit Freshboys, Hot Male nor Dreamboys this trip yet. Freshboys it is, twink kingdom but I’m not dogmatic, try to visit every bar at least once per trip even if twinks don’t to much for me sometimes for a change I’m not adverse to hiring them as well. Moth mamasans , one of them former Screwboys one recognized me with smile. Entry well timed – big C show, 6 or 7 participants started circulating among audience so red notes were wrapped around two of their appendages. Then even more heat with f…k show , top very interesting , one of those I tipped , bottom not so much but again two reds changed hands when they come up close to show they are not faking whole thing. Former Screwboy mamasan still remembered that I liked One boy many years ago, perhaps my best boy ever who left the scene long time ago but I still smile at his memory. No doubt she will remember next time as I slipped her another redie to prevent dementia. Asked about Screwboys reopening but ‘may be fall ‘ answer. Even in that twink galore I could find 2-3 guys I could off, top from f..k show definitely and not because his thing but because I like his face of aspiring hooligan and he is quite muscular too , at least for that bar’s standards. Somehow I realized that such great day must be crowned without any surprises so I lined V if he can come to see my stam collection and answer was immediate –‘where you are’ . Explained I will be at Baan Silom’s gate in 6 minutes I went back home only to see V already waiting for me there. As it turned out later he lives around the corner . we went to 7/11 right there to buy some supplies and when leaving who emerged from hotel ? My neighbor and last night companion, Grindr guy. We smiled at each other knowingly. It crossed my mind to use that opportunity for 3-some but pass it and keeping quiet was good thing because as soon as he went his way V whispered that he did not like that guy, too feminine he said and for sure clean shaven like girl. While he was incorrect on first assumption in my opinion, he was spot on on second part . V never disappoints and endeared himself even more by NOT calling me KFC man. Great conclusion to day 6, busy and fun filled, treasury destroying day2 points

At 10pm, I went to Freshboys. Many guys and now they wear white shorts. Decent lot of customers waiting for show to start. I saw the handsome guy whom I offed last week and I motioned to him to sit with me. After telling him to order drink, I told him through Google Translate that I would not be offing him. Not because he doesn't speak English but because he is man and doesn't kiss. Of course I didn't tell him the last sentence! I looked at the guys on stage. Nada. No connection. No chemistry. I paid for drinks, said goodbye to no-English guy and even gave him a tip. I went to New Twilight. Quiet night. Not more than 8 guys altogether. Fully clothed. Fewer than 5 customers. The bar must be bleeding baht at a serious rate every night. Location is really no good. Mamasan agrees. "Must have more promotion," mamasan adds. Being formerly from Moonlight, he knows the magic formula for a full house every night. I saw twinky waiter guy and I asked him if he is ok to go out with me. Sure, he says and off we went back to hotel room for kissing session.1 point

If you have an International Certificate version for Yellow Fever vaccination it likely states 10-year expiry or ‘lifetime’. Not too long ago the World Health Council adopted a resolution such that no booster for folks in this category is obligated to enter any country; 10-year status is equivalent to lifetime. That said, many countries vaccinate to control spread domestically, not to facilitate travel of their citizens to nations with entry requirements. They may get fractionated doses that suffice as long as uptake is widespread, and receive a domestic certificate, and may need or get boosters, etc. It’s complicated and variable though this aspect is not relevant to Board members here unless they get Yellow Fever vaccination in a country with less than the international certification standard.1 point

Day 12 was a much quieter affair compared to previous crazy night at Tawan. After T left my hotel room at 11 in morning, I went for coffee at Starbucks while waiting for hotel staff to clean the room. Toilet tends to be in a mess when T overnights. Lo and behold who do I see at Starbucks but @flashbarryallen I thought he was already on his way to Pattaya but last minute his driver changed time. So we had half an hour to chit chat. We talked about AFIs (Area for improvment) to make future Jockstrap Nights better. My suggestion is to have a second host speaking in English. Eventually his driver arrived and off he went to Pattaya. The rest of the day was spent slacking in hotel room. At the stroke of 9, I went off to Foodland for dinner and then to Hotmale beer bar. Alex was off. Aung was on duty by himself and there weren't any other customer so your truly could chat with Aung non-stop. Very funny fella. He says he loves watching Korean drama serials and after work, he would watch until 9am in the morning before finally sleeping!1 point

Just coming up to reading this-nice surprise, just page 1 now. So 2 tiny comments: 1.Thai do not walk, Burmese do -and will even suggest it ´to save the cost for taxi´ 2.its a well known fact from waiters/tresses that they remember the customer by what they order. In the tiny streetfood lookalike place (shack) where I usually went for lunch after a while they even kind of started to remember that tue=A, wed=B etc.-I did not dare to confuse them too much on that. But special requests are what they will remember most. I´ ll now just keep the rest for later-spread out the pleasure.1 point

Good advice overall. I'm a pretty sensitive guy and it's hard for me to process disappointment from guy who won't be getting the off that night, especially if it's one who has given great service before. I have to remind myself I'm not indebted to them in any way, no matter how enticing the puppy dog eyes can be. As with everything, it seems communication is the key. I feel about 99.2% sure that after my excursion to Pattaya, I will also be indulging in healthy monodiet of Tawan guys, perhaps consisting of two daily servings in afternoon and at night.1 point -
Day 10. Pool day but different pool. Pool at Le Meridien was undergoing repair and renovation for 3 days. Hotel arranged with sister hotel Marriot Suriwongse for guests who needed gym and pool to use facilities. I took up the offer as I wanted to try Suriwongse's infinity pool. Nice views I must say from the pool but I wouldn't stay at Suriwongse. Too far from gogo bars. Boys will surely complain about walking. At 9pm, I went to Hot Male beer bar for my Chang draught beer. Aung on duty at bar upstairs. Alex would only appear later. Was served by other waiters. Was in midst of getting to know when @flashbarryallen appeared. He had just arrived in BKK and we had arranged to meet. Gosh! We hit it off so quickly chatting about bars and boys. @flashbarryallen was back in Thailand after 2 years of Covid and was super excited to make up for lost time. At about 10.20pm, we made our way into Dreamboys. I shamelessly insisted we sit right in the middle in front of stage. Guys in jeans. @flashbarryallen saw guy whom he met many years ago and called him down. Muscular but not hard muscles. Smooth skin. No tattoos at all which is uncommon among muscle guys. I looked at guys on rotation. Some familiar faces from other bars pre-Covid. But music was really loud. Show started with coyote dancing. 3 boys took turns to dance in front of customers. @flashbarryallen gave his first 100-baht tip post Covid to a coyote dancer in blue briefs. I also gave a tip to the same boy but boy took my hand to stuff it into his blue briefs. We both need to have more practice to do THE VINAPU TUCK. @vinapu take note, I didn't give the name. It was@flashbarryallen who suggested the name! Coyote dancing was highlight of show. After that, the other performances just paled in comparison. Ladyboy lip synching was below par. The 4 dancers who accompanied ladyboy were good though. I recognise some of them from Lucky Boys. @flashbarryallen took his guy out and I continued watching the show. Just before the last act (2 pairs of guys sucking each other) the oher guys started getting dressed. After the 4 guys ended their act, a few guys came and stood on stage full clothed for less than one minute for any possible offs and then they headed to the exit. Mamasans then started telling everyone, "Bar close. Bar close." There were still about 5 customers left, some with bottle service and some with shirtless guys seated next to them. I left the bar and saw all the beer bars shuttered and lights off. At the entrance of soi patpong, there were about 10 policemen standing around. No chance to off anyone for me today.1 point

Couture Both Bangkok Guy and I like clothes and take care how we dress. In other words, we are both gay. We both prefer a classic simple look, although I have a penchant for a splash of color while Bangkok Guy is strictly muted colors. This trip it was a multicolored belt which triggered him “Why you like?” in a tone suggesting that insanity hovered nearby. As I loathe shopping, have preferences for the cut of my clothes and enjoy choosing fabric, I like to use tailors and assemble what I want. As Bangkok Guy loves shopping and a bargain, he prefers pret-a-porter in markets. The culture shock of taking him to my tailor was entertaining. The genesis of this adventure came over dinner at Baan Suriyasai during my last trip when Bangkok Guy made a quiet comment in passing ‘Look like waiter’. He was wearing a new white Chinese collar shirt from Icon Siam and black pants, which did bare a family resemblance to the waiter’s outfit. However I think the motivation for the remark was less his outfit and more mine, as I was resplendent in fresh-from-the-tailor shirt and trousers. The objective was to get him an outfit he could wear to restaurants and the Bamboo Bar and not look like the waiter – blue blazer with gilt buttons, white trousers and tailored shirts. Bangkok Guy was curious but hesitant – ‘Not know how’ (to use a tailor). I explained that the objective was to get exactly the cut, cloth and fit he wanted, and found patterns online for collars, cuffs, trousers and jackets to give him an idea of the range of choices, assuring him the tailor could show him. The whole exercise (for the pair of us, as I had a suit made) took four fittings, two before we left on our travels and two the day we returned. The first source of amusement came from watching Bangkok Guy instruct the tailor. At the first fitting he was looking for guidance but after that, once it came to discussing the fit, he was in charge. The tailor is a pro, but I couldn’t help wondering how he felt about taking instructions from a young durian trader from Issan. It was all amicable and Bangkok Guy got the fit he wanted – generally looser than the Italian cut favored by the tailor. After the third fitting I complemented him on how well he was managing the fittings to get what he wanted. A slight smile “I watch you”. The second source of amusement was the conflict between Bangkok Guy’s love of economy and his love of the way he looked and felt in the tailored clothes. He looked fantastic and heading out to dinner for the first time in the blazer with a red-and-navy silk pocket square, white trousers and white shirt with blue-lined collar and placket, he was walking on air. Bangkok Guy feels powerless (a topic for another time), a feeling the clothes temporarily removed. He didn’t know what the clothes cost, but he knew it was too much, especially as he can only use them a couple of times a year when I visit. They are not practical everyday wear for selling durian. He raised his concern about costs over lunch after the first fitting. “Tailor too expensive”. “Being Falang is expensive” – which response was met by a completely unconvinced look. As with alcohol consumption, he understands that the problem is not a generic Falang issue, but is specific to his particular Falang. After all, I am neither unintelligent nor too old to learn more economical ways from him. He knows that with patience and humor, the old dog can be retrained. He showed me the website of a tailor offering a complete outfit for 2000bt. “Probably not good cloth, this tailor better”. He graciously changed the topic but did not give up and continued to suggest that for much less money he could get what he needed at a market. The only argument I had that made any headway was “But then we not same-same”. He likes the idea of being the same, not because of the clothes, but because of the implication that I want us to be closer. After that the tone of the conversation changed. The tailor is still too expensive and markets a much better option, but for a few pieces of clothing that enable us to be “same-same” at restaurants and jazz bars, it is acceptable that we use the tailor. And, now he has had time to think about it, he would like a pair of trousers-with-braces like mine, as long as the braces are in muted colors. He thinks the braces are cute. I told him I will bring him a pair of braces next trip, so a further visit to the tailor is on the agenda. I am not going to tell him the cost of Trafalgar woven silk braces, as (i) he would call it off and (ii) my sanity, already in question, would look distinctly shaky.1 point

I do, I'm not flying that far to grumble or even worse , to look at every baht under the light before is spent. Every new off is both risk and opportunity but it's better to risk disappointment than be sorry we missed the boat. Flying in I had a moment when I thought those long flights are no longer for me so day may come, hopefully in 20, 30 years, when I'll say no more ( we met so you know I'm not quite spring chicken ), fortunately not yet. Yes I spent a lot on guys but as I noted before, out of 14 counts I paid over market , I was extremely happy with 10, and quite very happy with other 4. Some readers may be shocked with such a waste but 28000 (14*2000) is bit above 800 USD, how many long times with hunks I get for that in New York or London ? 1 1/2 ? Surprisingly perhaps, I see wasting or rather overspending money with room for substantial savings somewhere else as I have habit of inviting my guys for meals on both ends of off and orders some of them are placing would warrant restraining order. But somehow I like those meals, if only I can look at their faces and bodies in full light, LOL Sure it experiences that count, screw the money ! It's almost 7 years since I asked certain Tiger from Tawan to hug me strong in my Raya room 7 , I swear I still feel sometimes that massive closeness. ( no he did not break me anything you jokesters there ) and I'm sure in 7 years I'll still recall pleasure of soaping K in Tarntawan's bathtub. My mother used to instruct us '' if you don't have money to go to restaurant or for vacation, don't go until you have enough because you will feel bad looking at menu or admission price you can't afford." Not a bad advise, no? Beauty of Thailand is that it's still easily affordable country , transport and food are inexpensive and eye candy is for free everywhere and if one can discipline himself to numbers of bars is visiting , drinks gulped and guys offed , vacations there can be still both pleasant and cheap. And with bit of luck our neighbor in hotel may turn to be affordable hook up for the night as my previous night experience attests.1 point

I got to know Aung better and also Alex, another staff from Myanmar. Alex is a fun and jovial guy and he loves singing. I would love to one day take Alex out on his off day to a karaoke bar and listen to him sing. Aung is quiet and reserved but has his unique sense of humour. When he asked me which bars I went yesterday, i said Jupiter and Aung replied, "Hi-So." He's referring of course to the wealthy customers who order bottle service. Alex teased him about Covid vaccinations. Aung had gone for 3 jabs but got infected by Covid. Alex only went for 2 jabs and he didn't contract Covid. He ribbed Aung. The day before Aung was down with Covid, Alex and him were working and talking together. Alex reasoned that he should not get the 3rd jab since he seems immune despite being in close contact with a Covid patient i.e. Aung. I really enjoy interacting with them and decided I will go to their bar every night for a drink.1 point

I don't think many straight guys would have problems with this arrangement as to them, it's just work (like you are asked to do a gay porn together). Straight boys I know back in Vietnam certain don't. Some even offer "a discount" if you take their "brother" as well. On the other hand, gay boys who are "sisters" with each other might mind. My offer for threesome was turned down twice in Pattaya (one in Toy Boy and another in a go-go bar used to be next to Nice Boys whose name I forgot). In each case, both boys wanted to go with me but separately. You can off him today, off me tomorrow. They wouldn't do it if their "sister" is around. It's too weird, they said. It might hurt if they both get inside @jason1975 at the same time1 point

Day 5 Dum was great and earned 500 bonus in the morning. We went to Foodland for a breakfast, staff seeing me so often with different guys started smiling knowingly and that grin will not leave their faces for next 2 weeks. After that I went for a stroll to Lumpini park and from there by elevated walkway over canal to Benakiti park still under construction. At one time in future it will be proper park, now is lacking shade here and there but I liked lake in the middle and running track around it. Easy to get to by public transport as it’s close to Queen Sirikit MRT station and it’s how I returned to Raya to pack and move to Baan Silom in soi 3. Room was not ready so I left my suitcase and went again , now having proper location , to see business of former model X I met few times in Dec and have strong hope to be able to repeat feast this trip. It was quite a trip all the way to Samut Prakan, first by BTS to Samrong and then by taxi to the mall where his business is located. He saw me from the distance , warm embraces , treated me with his product, in fact let me prepare it by myself behind the counter under his watchful eye. I don’t remember who was first to suggest it but we agreed to meet in my room in the evening after shop will close as we need to discuss receipts he is using. I mentioned before one of our member is recommending certain masseur he managed to find when he was in BKK earlier and since I trust his judgement I gave it serious consideration , contacted guy in question who said will be free today but price he quoted me, 4000 for 2 hr massage in house freeze me. But member told me he is worth it with exclamation mark so what choice I had. Asked guy , Phakin is his name to come . I can see screams from economizing readers about that racket but if I trust somebody , I do. And yes , as promised it was worth it. Massage was very thorough and professional, at the same time entertaining as he turned out to be talkative with good English and with personality comparable to that of certain Z , star of my 2019 trips some of my readers may recall and great sense of humor ‘if somebody fucked me I land in hospital sure”. Not only skills are great but he is quite handsome and very, very well furnished. So after massage was over we had our share of fun or at least certainly I had. I’m glad my cheap side did not prevail because by economizing I’d be losing chance of one of most memorable massage sessions in my 22 trips. Sorry guys I raised your blood pressure for paying that much for massage but believe me , I know what it means money well spent. After he left I went to soi 4 to treat myself with another schnitzel at G’Bangkok. From there to Hot Male downstairs where paulsf was already there and reader who just arrived in Bangkok today after 2 years covid hiatus showed soon .We had lots to catch up and we did although I was kind of distracted by one of their host , diminutive Laotian who seem to like me indeed. Surely he got a drink and 200 inside of his jeans when I went back to hotel around 10 pm because X lined me that he closed shop and is on his way. Another case when I was glad to forget about economy since he charges as guy of his built and charm , whatever it means , should. Absolute gem as far as I’m concerned, talkative , easy going and outside of his few limits, very social so to speak. One of those who on the spot understand what customers likes and what makes him hot. It was past 2 am. when he left so our short time was not that short. Well heated I decided that spending rest of the night alone would be mistake I fired Grindr and found somebody in vicinity who agreed to share my bed till morning for 1500, yes, just to share by bed. It turned to be funny story which I already reported here : https://www.gayguides.com/forums/topic/37804-my-funny-apps-story-from-last-night/ And here’s just copy and paste of what I wrote then: Last night at 2 am or so after my companion left I decided that is too scary to sleep alone and I need somebody if only to warm the bed and embrace me in my sleep, in short, no particular requirement and even brother of Hunchback of Notre Dame will do. So fired Grindr and it was somebody shown at 58 meters away, still online. Actually nice, good looking and at 178 not too short so I sent a message, answer come right away agreeing to complete the night from now till whenever. I gave location and stated that I will be waiting in front of hotel. And so I went downstairs looking right and left to a completely deserted soi for somebody to show but it was still empty. In about 5 minutes somebody appeared emerging from my hotel. That was a guy actually better looking than on an app. Turned out that he is in the same hotel. So via 7/11 we returned there, in elevator it turned we are staying on the same floor and when I asked what room you are staying, it was revealed that it was one opposite of mine with our heads leaning at the same wall, just from other side. So distance of 58 meters really was more like 28 centimeters. Who would think I was so well positioned? And good news is, I wasn't asked for taxi money!!! Easy money for him as I really wanted just somebody to embrace and pleasure for me as he was better looking and gave better feel than I expected based on Grindr pics. To complete day 5 , in the morning I invited him for breakfast triggering another round of knowing smiles by stuff at Foodland1 point

Day 4 No problems with early rising and rinsing, at 7.30 on the dot we entered world famous , jimbill joined us there and after breakfast we hailed taxi and went to the Grand Palace. Taxi from Silom was less than 100 .There is some construction so we circulated a bit to find entrance , they made sure we are not wearing shorts. Tickets are 500 , Thais free. Since S is Cambodian I paid for his ticket. Visit was a treat, just like private tour due to early hour and sparse crowds. Even Emerald Buddha temple we had almost to ourselves. We were also pleased with S as he clearly was interested in sights , tried to explain to us some motives and rituals. That was pleasant contrast with last time I was there with a guy who couldn’t wait until we go back. Wat Po with Reclining Buddha is walking distance but ever stylish we took tuk-tuk to take us there, 50 baht for good start of the day for driver. The same situation , few visitors, while in normal times seeing Reclining Buddha is testing patience, fact well testified by signs on the floor ‘wait here” and so on. Us three and perhaps two Japanese girls was all crowd in the grand hall with statue. Instead taxi or MRT ( Sanam Luang station nearby is very impressive ) we decided to go by the river to walked to a Wat Arun ferry nearby. They made us waiting 15 minutes so we had some beer and S called him Mom in Cambodia proudly showing her farangs he was guide of , at least this is how he presented us I presume. Don’t believe he said ,”mom , tonight I slept with that grey haired guy in glasses, he snores like saw mill “. Ferry is whole 4 baht , 25% rise from Decemver when I paid only 3. From Wat Arun we took tourist boat to Saphan Taksin at 50 a piece for single trip and there by BTS to Silom where we parted our ways. Than you both gentlemen for such interesting trip. Jet lag is still there so I had some rest in the room, went to change money as at those tip rates is almost daily ritual, did some laundry and at dark to soi 4 for my daily schnitzel .I truly don’t like soi 4 and never did but somehow this trip I’m frequenting it daily, shame on me. After dinner to Hot Male downstairs bar for chat with paulsf, jimbill and bar boys there with Alex behind the counter and tiny Laotioan clingy as always. From my rotation today was supposed to be Jupiter day so it’s where we went to feast on their handsome guys , in process to get frozen and deaf at the same time. A/C was set waaaaaaaaaaaaay too low and sound volume waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high. We had out drinks , watched the show and parade of their semi-gods looking great and even greater but lacking smiles as always but due to noise it was impossible to say and hear the word so with great relief we left that noisy Arctic and I went to Tawan . I wanted to off Dum who fortunately was available and I sensed , upon seeing me full of hope today will be his turn. It was late so not much time in bar, drink , off fee and off we went to Raya. Since I offed him few times in the past he had all advantages of known quality. Wanted 4000, I offered 3000, he reluctantly but wisely agreed . Why wisely ? Because that was max I ordered myself to offer for tonight. K, hero of my first night no doubt told him what he got as they are friends and hailing from the same city but muscle beats belly any time in my books and he knew it. But there are very few babies in the world who have such silky skin Dum has. So I finished day 4 holding 30 y.o. baby in my arms.1 point

I can give a thumbs up to K-man spa, a massage shop located a few steps from Saphan Kwai BTS stop. It’s down a small soi on same side of road as Big C (directional on FB site). What I particularly liked was the policy of identifying masseurs’ preferred role (“top” or “top and bottom”) on its FB site. It’s been my experience they serve as good indicator of what customer can actually expect. standard room with massage table with shower down the hall. There’s a small lock box in room. They also offer a VIP room. The room I was taken to was on third floor. Small bottle of water on arrival. Manager shows you those available on tablet. In some cases, boys not on site can be called in. You can also request your choice in advance by phone or email. Shop also operates second site , KK Massage. Most of the guys came from various ASEAN countries. https://www.facebook.com/kmanspamassage/1 point
