This trip was planned in outline by Bangkok Guy and then refined by me as I encountered the reality of logistics in Thailand. All air routes pass through Bangkok, you can’t simply fly direct city-to-city, and this consumes a lot of time. It was not possible to fit Bangkok Guy’s top three destinations into ten days and we settled on two, Chang Mai and Koh Lipe, with an overnight transit stop in Hat Yai because the flight arrivals and boat departures do not match up if your starting point is Chang Mai and you have to travel via Bangkok. No Covid issues this time. Bangkok Guy is double-vaccinated, Moderna as the second shot, bright eyed and looking forward to our trip. He has been helping his sister sell durian ‘It good business’, except his sister likes durian and eats some of the stock, which amuses him. As I am with Bangkok Guy and not having daily bar-scene adventures I have experimented with the format of this report. Rather than write the report chronologically, after an initial touristic overview I have structured it by themes. As usual we visited the jazz bars. I still can’t find a calendar of who is playing where, which is frustrating. We tried the Crimson Room for the first time and found Norwood Young and his band were the act. He was excellent, great voice and quite a showman. Bangkok Guy loved it, so we returned after our travels but found a Thai singer who was good but not Norwood Young. Bamboo Bar was excellent as always. As in January Peter the resident pianist (I could listen to him all night) was backing Thai vocalists who were good but did not have quite the lungs and range of the vocalists in January. This was a disappointment to Bangkok Guy who particularly likes vocals that you could dance to if there was a dance floor. Bangkok Guy informs me that if you can’t dance to it, it “old people jazz” (which he still likes). Our first night in Chang Mai Bangkok Guy was excited to go to the Sunday night market. He loves markets. It was large and fun. In addition to the shopping there was a lot of activity at Wat Chedi Luang. We bought flowers to offer and, assisted by a monk, Bangkok Guy hauled a water container up a rope pully to tip over the ruined chedi. We returned to our hotel very late and Bangkok Guy discovered the night security guard was a guide (Bangkok Guy chats to everybody), so the next day he took us on a tour of the temples, a great restaurant in a garden by a reservoir, and shopping. The low tourist numbers were painfully obvious in the shops-geared-for-tourists to which he took us. Large complexes in which we were the only customers. Koh Lipe I highly recommend, but we will not be returning as Bangkok Guy did not like the hour long boat ride. The route is a two hour ride in a van from Hat Yai to Pak Barra on a good road, followed by an hour in a speed boat to Koh Lipe. Picture a gutted cabin cruiser with one large open space holding seating for around 30-40 people and four massive outboard motors. On the way there the sea had a slight swell which resulted in some exciting bumps even with an experienced driver, which in turn lead to a few cases of mild seasickness, one of whom was Bangkok Guy. Despite a room right next to the water with a view-to-die-for, excellent food, great snorkeling and it generally being a great place, Bangkok Guy did not forgive the seasickness. On the return trip the sea was like glass and it was wonderful. Still no forgiveness. I would return in a heartbeat and will try to bribe Bangkok Guy with the Idyllic Resort which we found just down the beach from our resort. “We can move here?” he asked hopefully. The attraction was air-conditioning versus fans. The return flight to Bangkok was an hour late due to weather. Approaching Bangkok the turbulence was uncomfortable – Bangkok Guy gripped my arm like a drowning sailor while I played at being calm and stoic. The cause of the turbulence became clear after the pilot made a U-turn into the landing approach. We had skirted a sizeable thunder storm with lightening the likes of which I have never before seen – massive, thick, bright white bolts that made me visualize pools of molten glass wherever they struck. After washing off the day’s travel at the hotel we headed out to Silom for Issan food. I got the feeling that Bangkok Guy is not often in this part of Bangkok anymore, several times he was not so sure finding his way around, and this was one of these occasions. No Issan food where he expected it. We ended up at Fork and Cork, which we liked. Since we were in the area, why not visit Jupiter? I wanted to see a show and Bangkok Guy was happy to go along as he likes the Jupiter guys more than I do. He likes buff. About ten guys in great shape. Good acts. A very thin crowd. Four or five young women front row at one end of the stage, two small mixed groups along the right-side front row, three guys on the left side and Bangkok Guy and I seated a little further back. However Bangkok Guy did not get into playing the ‘Which guy you want?’ game and his body language became stiff. When I suggested we go he almost leapt from his seat. I have not taken him to a bar since the very early days of our relationship, wanting to spare him any possible loss of face at being perceived as a ‘boy du jour’ and possible discomfort if I too-visibly found a guy attractive. Although none of the guys really appealed to me, the longer we stayed in the bar the more uncomfortable he was, particularly as I was trying to figure out if I thought #86 was attractive or not (conclusion, yes) causing my attention to be too focused. Bangkok Guy and I are firm fans of Baan Suriyasai and that did not change this trip. We tried the Blue Elephant and while I would recommend it there were many people, so not a private dining experience, and it is a fraction Euro-centric. The wait staff automatically focused on me, while in Baan Suriyasai they focus on Bangkok Guy. The limopattaya were great as usual, taking us to-and-from the airport and also around Bangkok in the evenings between restaurants and jazz bars. For the first time ever on my departure Bangkok Guy decided he would keep the hotel room and check out after breakfast the next morning. I left him happily snuggled under the duvet.14 points

Day 7 Rain in the morning, V left at 9 skipped breakfast this time so I went to Foodland alone. I feel lazy today so did some stroll around Lumpini and then returned to hotel to be busy doing nothing till about 2 pm. Returning from Lumpini and waiting for green light I noticed handsome guy in mask crossing the street on red light, looked cursory at him with condemnation of such recklessness and since he was handsome I even followed him with my eyes as he walked away. Few hours later I’m getting message on Grindr ‘ I saw you today in Lumpini” . WTF thought I , who it can be and then got moment of enlightenment “:are you guy who crossed red light ?”, ‘yes, can I see you ? ” . I was impressed by his gaydar , he looked good anyways and we agreed to meet tomorrow morning. Why not today ? In the morning I got a Line from X asking if I need him today, hell sure I do , come at 2 ok ? he agreed. Then all of the sudden Christmas dawned on me as one of my forum friends sent me a Jupiter clip showing no one else but Handsome Cambodian, guy I’m in secret, although one sided love ever since I saw him first time few years ago exercising in front of BBB in Boyztown. From clip it was obvious that he retuned to the bar after Covid break so immediately I’m on mission tonight – go to Jupiter and off him if only he will want to go with me because as I said I have feeling love is one sided , LOL. We will call him HC in this report. That made me excited and extremely happy at the same time. At 2 X showed up as arranged in the morning . He felt bit lazy too and was not in rush at all so I could enjoy his presence for next 3 hours knowing that it will be a while before I can see him again since I’m going to Pattaya tomorrow. Seems I can’t have enough the guy being eternally grateful to 18past 19 who helped in December to arrange our first meeting . Before him I think I felt so good only in presence of One from Screwboys and M from Senso. Truly quasi boyfriend experience and even if I know is all fake still feels very good. Not love but enormous soothing comfort. X did not feel like eating so I went to G’Bangkok myself, had my feed and then , no doubt directed by Guardian Angel instead of leaving soi immediately I decided so take stroll up and down the soi. In one of bars whom I see? HC himself, unfortunately in presence of some client sporting winning smile which I read as “ I got your boy , you lick the wounds” . What surprised me, HC recognized me immediately even if we meet really only once and that was for short time only. On another hand he had some reason to remember and recall me and thrilled me when he thanked for that. He seemed happy to see me which made my day already but explained that he won’t be available until tomorrow. I told him I’m going to Pattaya tomorrow and will see him in 5 days. “ Let me know when you need me” said him placing me in cloud 7. I felt like teenager meeting his first date. So to HotMale to say good bye to paulsf I did not walk but I flew on that cloud so happy, happy. Paul is not leaving yet but since I’m going to Pattaya by time I ‘ll be back he will be on his way home. Soon anddy joined us and of course tiny Lao boy accompany me all that time. At 10.30 we decided to go upstairs to see the show, Lao asked if he can go with me, of course and up we went. Surprisingly HC and his customer were sitting in the corner and upon seeing me HC came for a moment to thank me again and ask to see hi when I will be back. One of the boys on stage was muscular T whom I offed along with Myanmarese guy for 3 some in Dec, as soon as he smiled at me I called him over. Yes he remembered that debauchery, Myanmarese guy is working in Moonlight now but he said we can take somebody else if I want repeat. Great idea, my first thought was Lao but he declined telling me he is shy to go with guy he knows ,from the same bar. T , keen on business suggested two other guys , I liked one twinky with temple tattoo and tasked T with obtaining his agreement. It took few seconds of conversation between them before he looked at me and smiled broadly so I called him over ( mind you I have three boys sitting with me now ). Both N, new arrival and T confirmed that they will stay till morning and after the show I tipped Lao for his troubles and took my boys out to applause of their bar friends. We stopped for a dinner at world famous and then went to Baan Silom where night guard did not seem keen on letting two guy in but I promised him a tip and he yielded. Stupid me , I should tip him just in case on my first night. In the room I treated them with beer, T is very talkative , N more reserved with limited English but seemed nice boy. It looked that he just started recently and was very happy with an off. I let them to have fun first before exercising my own rights. Judging by mood in the morning all three of us were happy campers ,ending with happy smiles day 7 of my trip. V, X, HC, T and N, it looks like I run through half alphabet today but great day it was not only because unexpected quasi reunion with HC, in fact all other 4 guys were above average today.12 points

Couture Both Bangkok Guy and I like clothes and take care how we dress. In other words, we are both gay. We both prefer a classic simple look, although I have a penchant for a splash of color while Bangkok Guy is strictly muted colors. This trip it was a multicolored belt which triggered him “Why you like?” in a tone suggesting that insanity hovered nearby. As I loathe shopping, have preferences for the cut of my clothes and enjoy choosing fabric, I like to use tailors and assemble what I want. As Bangkok Guy loves shopping and a bargain, he prefers pret-a-porter in markets. The culture shock of taking him to my tailor was entertaining. The genesis of this adventure came over dinner at Baan Suriyasai during my last trip when Bangkok Guy made a quiet comment in passing ‘Look like waiter’. He was wearing a new white Chinese collar shirt from Icon Siam and black pants, which did bare a family resemblance to the waiter’s outfit. However I think the motivation for the remark was less his outfit and more mine, as I was resplendent in fresh-from-the-tailor shirt and trousers. The objective was to get him an outfit he could wear to restaurants and the Bamboo Bar and not look like the waiter – blue blazer with gilt buttons, white trousers and tailored shirts. Bangkok Guy was curious but hesitant – ‘Not know how’ (to use a tailor). I explained that the objective was to get exactly the cut, cloth and fit he wanted, and found patterns online for collars, cuffs, trousers and jackets to give him an idea of the range of choices, assuring him the tailor could show him. The whole exercise (for the pair of us, as I had a suit made) took four fittings, two before we left on our travels and two the day we returned. The first source of amusement came from watching Bangkok Guy instruct the tailor. At the first fitting he was looking for guidance but after that, once it came to discussing the fit, he was in charge. The tailor is a pro, but I couldn’t help wondering how he felt about taking instructions from a young durian trader from Issan. It was all amicable and Bangkok Guy got the fit he wanted – generally looser than the Italian cut favored by the tailor. After the third fitting I complemented him on how well he was managing the fittings to get what he wanted. A slight smile “I watch you”. The second source of amusement was the conflict between Bangkok Guy’s love of economy and his love of the way he looked and felt in the tailored clothes. He looked fantastic and heading out to dinner for the first time in the blazer with a red-and-navy silk pocket square, white trousers and white shirt with blue-lined collar and placket, he was walking on air. Bangkok Guy feels powerless (a topic for another time), a feeling the clothes temporarily removed. He didn’t know what the clothes cost, but he knew it was too much, especially as he can only use them a couple of times a year when I visit. They are not practical everyday wear for selling durian. He raised his concern about costs over lunch after the first fitting. “Tailor too expensive”. “Being Falang is expensive” – which response was met by a completely unconvinced look. As with alcohol consumption, he understands that the problem is not a generic Falang issue, but is specific to his particular Falang. After all, I am neither unintelligent nor too old to learn more economical ways from him. He knows that with patience and humor, the old dog can be retrained. He showed me the website of a tailor offering a complete outfit for 2000bt. “Probably not good cloth, this tailor better”. He graciously changed the topic but did not give up and continued to suggest that for much less money he could get what he needed at a market. The only argument I had that made any headway was “But then we not same-same”. He likes the idea of being the same, not because of the clothes, but because of the implication that I want us to be closer. After that the tone of the conversation changed. The tailor is still too expensive and markets a much better option, but for a few pieces of clothing that enable us to be “same-same” at restaurants and jazz bars, it is acceptable that we use the tailor. And, now he has had time to think about it, he would like a pair of trousers-with-braces like mine, as long as the braces are in muted colors. He thinks the braces are cute. I told him I will bring him a pair of braces next trip, so a further visit to the tailor is on the agenda. I am not going to tell him the cost of Trafalgar woven silk braces, as (i) he would call it off and (ii) my sanity, already in question, would look distinctly shaky.6 points

If you have a very quick trigger, some guys may fall back on old proverb: you come, I go. I think it’s a wise practice to pace yourself—and your partner—to avoid premature climax.6 points -
Day 10. Pool day but different pool. Pool at Le Meridien was undergoing repair and renovation for 3 days. Hotel arranged with sister hotel Marriot Suriwongse for guests who needed gym and pool to use facilities. I took up the offer as I wanted to try Suriwongse's infinity pool. Nice views I must say from the pool but I wouldn't stay at Suriwongse. Too far from gogo bars. Boys will surely complain about walking. At 9pm, I went to Hot Male beer bar for my Chang draught beer. Aung on duty at bar upstairs. Alex would only appear later. Was served by other waiters. Was in midst of getting to know when @flashbarryallen appeared. He had just arrived in BKK and we had arranged to meet. Gosh! We hit it off so quickly chatting about bars and boys. @flashbarryallen was back in Thailand after 2 years of Covid and was super excited to make up for lost time. At about 10.20pm, we made our way into Dreamboys. I shamelessly insisted we sit right in the middle in front of stage. Guys in jeans. @flashbarryallen saw guy whom he met many years ago and called him down. Muscular but not hard muscles. Smooth skin. No tattoos at all which is uncommon among muscle guys. I looked at guys on rotation. Some familiar faces from other bars pre-Covid. But music was really loud. Show started with coyote dancing. 3 boys took turns to dance in front of customers. @flashbarryallen gave his first 100-baht tip post Covid to a coyote dancer in blue briefs. I also gave a tip to the same boy but boy took my hand to stuff it into his blue briefs. We both need to have more practice to do THE VINAPU TUCK. @vinapu take note, I didn't give the name. It was@flashbarryallen who suggested the name! Coyote dancing was highlight of show. After that, the other performances just paled in comparison. Ladyboy lip synching was below par. The 4 dancers who accompanied ladyboy were good though. I recognise some of them from Lucky Boys. @flashbarryallen took his guy out and I continued watching the show. Just before the last act (2 pairs of guys sucking each other) the oher guys started getting dressed. After the 4 guys ended their act, a few guys came and stood on stage full clothed for less than one minute for any possible offs and then they headed to the exit. Mamasans then started telling everyone, "Bar close. Bar close." There were still about 5 customers left, some with bottle service and some with shirtless guys seated next to them. I left the bar and saw all the beer bars shuttered and lights off. At the entrance of soi patpong, there were about 10 policemen standing around. No chance to off anyone for me today.5 points

It has been my experience "short time" means you give him his money and he leaves when you are done with your "activities". Usually that means about 1 to 3 hours. I've never had a boy click a stopwatch and tell me time's up. Don't forget, "short time" does not necessarily mean you take him off and go immediately to your hotel room. It could mean first taking him out to dinner, taking him for a legitimate body or foot massage, taking him to a karaoke or concert if one is in town - then going to your hotel. What I usually do is the longer I have him with me, the greater his tip - especially if you're both really enjoying whatever you're doing and each other's company - and if you can tell the boy isn't faking it. "Long time" to me means he sleeps with you overnight. One thing I've seen farang do, and I don't recommend it at all, is take a boy off and then take him to another gay bar. Unless the boy suggests it himself (which he might do if he has a friend working at another bar), don't do that. I can't think of a way to bore him more. He works in a bar. Does anyone really think his idea of a fun evening is to go to another bar? The only reason I would ever do that would be if there is a bar show he wants to see. Otherwise, do something else.4 points

With a few exceptions I've never been a Pattaya person. In my freewheeling days, Bangkok had everything that I ever wanted - more or less! I admit, though, that sitting at the gay part of Dongtan beach used to be great in the days when the bar boys would come out to play in the late afternoon. But swimming in that water? It always seemed filthy and I understand there is sewage flowing into the sea not far away (or has that now changed?). On the other hand I'm definitely a beach person. For years friends and I would rent an apartment for a couple of weeks in Phuket. Then Phuket became overbuilt, overrun with tourists and a lot more expensive. Before I became involved in a long term relationship I used to take a boy off and spend a few days in places like Krabi and more recently in Khao Lak. Khao Lak always seems to me one of the gems of Thailand. There's virtually nothing to do there apart from staying in one of the beach hotels and chilling out. But the long wide beach is fabulous and the hotels very spread out. You can be staying in one and never see another. We've often had the beach more or less to ourselves. Then after a day relaxing, sunset cocktails at the pool bar, the little Thai restaurants just off the beach serve great inexpensive food.4 points

I do, I'm not flying that far to grumble or even worse , to look at every baht under the light before is spent. Every new off is both risk and opportunity but it's better to risk disappointment than be sorry we missed the boat. Flying in I had a moment when I thought those long flights are no longer for me so day may come, hopefully in 20, 30 years, when I'll say no more ( we met so you know I'm not quite spring chicken ), fortunately not yet. Yes I spent a lot on guys but as I noted before, out of 14 counts I paid over market , I was extremely happy with 10, and quite very happy with other 4. Some readers may be shocked with such a waste but 28000 (14*2000) is bit above 800 USD, how many long times with hunks I get for that in New York or London ? 1 1/2 ? Surprisingly perhaps, I see wasting or rather overspending money with room for substantial savings somewhere else as I have habit of inviting my guys for meals on both ends of off and orders some of them are placing would warrant restraining order. But somehow I like those meals, if only I can look at their faces and bodies in full light, LOL Sure it experiences that count, screw the money ! It's almost 7 years since I asked certain Tiger from Tawan to hug me strong in my Raya room 7 , I swear I still feel sometimes that massive closeness. ( no he did not break me anything you jokesters there ) and I'm sure in 7 years I'll still recall pleasure of soaping K in Tarntawan's bathtub. My mother used to instruct us '' if you don't have money to go to restaurant or for vacation, don't go until you have enough because you will feel bad looking at menu or admission price you can't afford." Not a bad advise, no? Beauty of Thailand is that it's still easily affordable country , transport and food are inexpensive and eye candy is for free everywhere and if one can discipline himself to numbers of bars is visiting , drinks gulped and guys offed , vacations there can be still both pleasant and cheap. And with bit of luck our neighbor in hotel may turn to be affordable hook up for the night as my previous night experience attests.4 points

You won't get a phone call like you would in the Amsterdam brothels that taught me how to be gay in the 90s. In Thailand, I appreciated a chat, and drink from the minibar, before and after. In fact, I was a little cross if the time was exclusively bed-centred, noting that the best performances usually followed some degree of social interaction.3 points -
Day 6 As I mentioned before for few days guy from Grindr is sending me question ‘ do you want massage?”. He doesn’t have nick but headless photo of his body is enticing , he confirmed that it’s his so I decided, encouraged no doubt by Guardian Angel to take a chance on him. Early massage , at 10.30 he knocked to my room and right away I knew Angel was involved since we hit it right away. Handsome, rather athletic than muscular, talkative in good English, soon it turned out his massage is superb and it seems the he likes me. Wow, considering age and looks difference. In short , gem, thank you Angel . We exchanged Line, where he uses Besty nick. He said he is more tennis instructor and partner than massage freelancer. Fee very modest at 1500 and he was not in rush to go at all. No doubt we will meet him again. Unfortunately not keen on long time at all, it always be must be that something. If he were , chance are this trip would look quite different. Yes , he threw at me that KFC insult but is forgiven before he even opened mouth Energized I walked a bit around the Silom and Patpong , exchanged money in XONE on Suriwong, passed through Silom market in soi 8 but did not go too far because in meantime X lined me if I’m interested to see him again today. Money be damned , answer was yessssssssssssss ! He showed up at 3 pm. And I had more fun than last night even, worth every satang even if we are talking a lot of satangs here. Funny thing , worth more scientific research , he turned out to be ticklish in few places where for sure he was not last night? Imagine wrestling such a hunk just to make sure he is ticklish indeed. After good 2.5 hrs we got hungry and went to G’Bangkok , soi 4 for a dinner . With our table outside it was very obvious he is head turner, even proprietor noticed it and whispered “ where you got that guy ? Interestingly he opted for typical German fare, sausage with something and he liked it , mentioning that even week after as our 2nd meeting was definitely the last. After dinner we parted ways. I decided to take circular way to soi 3 but at corner of Suriwong and soi 6 it started raining. How not to get wet in absence of umbrella ? There are two solutions, cheap and pleasant. Cheap- to buy umbrella at 7/11 was dismissed as wasteful spending and I opted to take massage in Tawan around the corner. I was expecting M from my day 1 but it turned out he is not there but Ten is on duty. Ten is real bodybuilder, not a shrinking violet at all. For those attending show at Tawan he is one making candle show. I was prepared for serious mutilation considering substantial body mass at his disposal but massage turned out to be very skillful, no need to say energetic. And fun as he is quite talkative , knew that I had massage with M and offed two boys from Tawan already so if we think we are anonymous shadows , better not to be naïve. By time we were done rain was over but not before he threw KFC insult, my 2nd such humiliation today at price of 500 for massage and 1500 tip. Three fantastic encounters so far made me happy and thirsty for more so instead going to hotel I continued walking and on Silom in mouth of soi 2 there was another hunk distributing Paradise massage leaflets so I said to myself see what happens. This time not much, while body was great and kind of accessible even if he is straight and proudly showed me picture of his daughter, massage was bit cursory and so were afters. Cost and tip the same like in Tawan but only memorable part was third today KFC insult and few minutes after when I was paying massage fee at reception , fourth. I need to find hardware shop , buy some rope and hang myself thought I in meantime grinning semi happily thinking what bar should be in my rotation tonight since I did not visit Freshboys, Hot Male nor Dreamboys this trip yet. Freshboys it is, twink kingdom but I’m not dogmatic, try to visit every bar at least once per trip even if twinks don’t to much for me sometimes for a change I’m not adverse to hiring them as well. Moth mamasans , one of them former Screwboys one recognized me with smile. Entry well timed – big C show, 6 or 7 participants started circulating among audience so red notes were wrapped around two of their appendages. Then even more heat with f…k show , top very interesting , one of those I tipped , bottom not so much but again two reds changed hands when they come up close to show they are not faking whole thing. Former Screwboy mamasan still remembered that I liked One boy many years ago, perhaps my best boy ever who left the scene long time ago but I still smile at his memory. No doubt she will remember next time as I slipped her another redie to prevent dementia. Asked about Screwboys reopening but ‘may be fall ‘ answer. Even in that twink galore I could find 2-3 guys I could off, top from f..k show definitely and not because his thing but because I like his face of aspiring hooligan and he is quite muscular too , at least for that bar’s standards. Somehow I realized that such great day must be crowned without any surprises so I lined V if he can come to see my stam collection and answer was immediate –‘where you are’ . Explained I will be at Baan Silom’s gate in 6 minutes I went back home only to see V already waiting for me there. As it turned out later he lives around the corner . we went to 7/11 right there to buy some supplies and when leaving who emerged from hotel ? My neighbor and last night companion, Grindr guy. We smiled at each other knowingly. It crossed my mind to use that opportunity for 3-some but pass it and keeping quiet was good thing because as soon as he went his way V whispered that he did not like that guy, too feminine he said and for sure clean shaven like girl. While he was incorrect on first assumption in my opinion, he was spot on on second part . V never disappoints and endeared himself even more by NOT calling me KFC man. Great conclusion to day 6, busy and fun filled, treasury destroying day3 points

From Bangkok Posr The government will temporarily halt the need for international passengers to fill out TM 6 immigration forms to ease passenger congestion at international airports. Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said after a cabinet meeting on Tuesday this would reduce the process for foreign visitors as they were already required to fill out many forms upon arrival. It will also help alleviate congestion as international arrival numbers have increased, he added. Gen Prayut said authorities will evaluate the outcome of the announcement and consider if it needs to be revised, especially if they are unable to trace passengers. The Interior Ministry will expedite the drafting of the announcement, which is expected to finish in a week. Deputy government spokeswoman Traisuree Taisaranakul said foreign travellers who enter Thailand bey land or sea will still be required to fill out the form. The move will save around 45.5 million baht a year in printing costs for an estimated 65 million TM 6 forms, she said. Immigration police can still collect data on arrivals via the biometric systems at airports, while other travel data can be collected from airlines, Ms Traisuree said. Thais have not needed to fill out a TM 6 since 2017.2 points

Jomtien Complex has changed a lot in 3 1/2 years with many new bars, pop-up bars and cafes. I was pleasantly surprised. Having said that, some things, never change. Home Bar is still the same and Zack sits in the same spot each night. Cocka2 is still operating, although that top end of the Soi can get a little too noisy with bars fighting for music dominance. There are actually more bars now than there have ever been. 69 Bar and B.N Bar (Big Nuts Bar) both opened this month.2 points -

On my trips to Thailand, I typically go for around 10 days, but spend only 2 or 3 days in Pattaya - the rest in BKK. I've always enjoyed the side excursions to Pattaya. But when my trips to Thailand resume, I'm thinking of no longer going to Pattaya. It just doesn't seem worth travelling down there, just to visit slightly different bars, when the bars and guys in BKK are so good. Secondly, as mentioned on posts above, I find there is not much to do in Pattaya during the day and the selection of restaurants and hotels there are not as good. (In BKK, I can't fit in the amount of different restaurants I want to try - but in Pattaya, I can barely find any). My sense from reading these forums is that there was a craziness in the Pattaya scene many years ago - which was worth coming to see. But unfortunately that seems to have faded, and now the scene seems like just a smaller version of BKK.2 points

More armed gays is the American solution, sure. Except for two things: Even in places where CCW (Carrying a Conceded Weapon permit) is legal/commonplace, it is never legal to do so while drinking and many places ban them regardless. Basic understanding of statistics. We are already a community with sky-high rates of depression and related drug-use, self harm and suicide, if it's easier (due to immediate access to a firearm) then vastly will more succeed--never get a chance to reconsider. A gun in the home is much more likely to be used against the owner or their family than the right-wingnut fantasy of heroic self defense. I truly wish every single "pro-gun" person was made to understand the rates of accident, suicide and domestic violence when a gun is added to the home! This is one of several reasons I don't support giving guns out to teachers or anybody else like free doughnuts... They will literally increase the death rate of whatever population you're discussing. -2 points

Update: So last Friday, I pretended I was going to play sports so that I can see my street food vendor <3.. It was already around 9pm and decided I was going to eat it right there.. Ohh boy.. Food was a bit hard for me to finish but tried my best to show him that I liked it. Eventually, I gave up and decided to just take it home. So I asked him to put it in a takeaway bag and ordered another one.. Saturday, he wasn't there so it was a bummer. Sunday, I greeted him with Sawatdee krup as I walked past his kiosk on my way to playing sports. After playing, I went to his kiosk but he wasn't there so I went back to the sports center and waited there hoping he will come back in a few minutes. After 10 minutes, went back to his kiosk but it was still unmanned so I just walked around the area for another 30 minutes but still he wasn't there. Finally, I just decided to have a drink with some friends around the area. Around 9pm, I walked past his kiosk but still, he was not there I didn't wanna go home empty handed, so I went back to the sports center, watched some games for a few minutes then walked back to his kiosk and VOILA! He is there, sweeping the pavement just a few meters from his kiosk. I asked "mi mai?" or "do you have?" in english and he replied enthusiastically, "mi.. mi" or "have.. have..".. Long story short, I ordered two which is 40THB in total but gave him 100 and told him keep the change but he was like "No.. no.." I just replied "Mai bpen rai" or "Don't worry about it".. I also got his Line haha!! He is soo cute in his profile picture. He seems to be or have been a cook in another slightly bigger food kiosk.. I sent him a picture of what I ordered from him, already emptied out .. then he replied with a picture of chilis .. not sure if he is teasing me because I would always complain that his food is spicy and he always would get surprised cause its prolly not that spicy for him.. Sent him a picture of a Burmese restaurant and asked him if its any good and he just replied with "dont know" and "i havent tried".. This is probably too slow for most forumers here but it brings back the same excitement you feel seeing or interacting with your crush back in high school 😅 Next goal is to invite him to a drink but I would probably just stick to ordering and making small talks with him this week just to make him a little more comfortable with me.2 points -
Day 9 started with shopping and walking around Pratunam area. Came across an electronics stall and saw a karaoke microphone with lights and bluetooth function. Bought it on the spot. After shopping back to hotel for rest. At 9pm headed off to Hotmale bar. Aung is off today. Got my Chang draught beer from Alex and I presented him with the karaoke microphone. He was so shy when he received it. Thanked me so much. I asked him to turn it on but he kept saying he was shy to sing loudly in public. I took the chance to ask him what he was doing on his off day this Thursday. He said he would be busy moving. He is moving to a bigger apartment. I guess i will have to wait for another time to take him out for karaoke. My 3rd night in a row at Hotmale beer bar. Great location to see the Dreamboys guys when they come out after their rotation on stage. They are topless and I can admire their muscled bodies. I even saw the tattooed guy who used to do the merman show at Classic and then moved to Lucky Boys for big cock show. Glad that he still had a job, presumably at Dreamboys big cock show. At 10pm I went into Hotmale gogo bar. 8 to 10 guys in jeans. Saw one handsome boy. No.5. I called him over immediately. Name is V. From Cambodia. Average body but very very handsome. 28 years old. Speaks good English. I bought him a drink. He ordered Leo beer. "Short Time 2000 ok?" I went straight to the point. Yes and he signalled to mamasan. Mamasans at Hotmale are not dressed formally unlike most other bars. They wear the same outfit as the waiters! V finished his bottle of beer before we left. "You like to drink?" I asked. "Yes, you have beer in hotel?" "No beer but I have whisky!" I replied and he was all smiles. We walked across the hotel lobby and I waved cheerfully to the two ladies on duty at reception. I wonder what they think of me bringing back different guys every night. In room, I asked V to shower while I poured and mixed two glasses of Jack Daniels. We drank and had our fun. V wasn't a kisser unfortunately but it was still an enjoyable session. After he left, I fell asleep. End of Day 9. Pretty ordinary day with no significant life-changing events.2 points

Once the runner up behind exports, tourism is now being hailed as the “key engine supporting Thailand’s economic recovery.” An article in the Bangkok Post cites a report by Siam Commercial Bank, upgrading its forecast for foreign tourist arrivals to 7.4 million this year. Although this represents an increase of 1.7 million, it still falls far shor of the 40 million who visited in 2019.1 point

THIS SHYT IS BANANAS!!!
TotallyOz reacted to BlkSuperman for a topic
This SHYT has gotten bananas. The mem, Dominican Republic, twitter, my husband and only fans. We just got back from the DR a few Days ago. This time we decided to stay from Thursday to Sunday instead of Friday to Sunday. Doing so made a major difference in how we were able to relax and fuck without feeling like we needed to rush and squeeze and many guys in (pun intended) as we could. We also made it a point to not let all the guys know we were coming this time. Ww only told the few guys we wanted to hook up and video with. That didn't make a difference because the guys that we told apparently told their buddies that we were there because the ones we didn't tell were blowing our phone up as well. When we arrived we chilled because we knew that we had 3 more days to play. My hubby called one guy over for him. I watched them played and jerked off then I called a guy over for me and got pounded. Now my Twitter pages have gotten out of control. Completely unmanageable. It really gets overwhelming at times because I receive hundreds of messages a day. HUNDREDS OF MESSAGES! the most recent message I received is from a well known muscular daddy porn star who wants to meet up in Santo Domingo and do a video with some of my guys. I didn't know who the guy was but my husband did and then I scoped out his Twitter page. I told him that it would only be him, king dong,y husband and myself. He agreed and we are supposed to meet In November for this collaboration. As we spoke more, he wanted to know if he could bring another one of his porn buddies and when he told me who the guy was I was In total disbelief because this guy is well known in the industry and I've loved his work for years. My Twitter pages are expanding are a pace that I can't even keep up with all 3 of them. Blacksuperman2 was the first one I started then this Dominican Tranny pimp liked the page and told to clear another. I've never met her but she always sends me guys who she thinks are my type. So she suggested I create another one and I created HungDRHombres. With the popularity of both pages, I have Dominican tops and bottoms sending me emails all the time to star in the videos. They don't want pay, they just want the big dick guys in the video and have their sexy asses shown all over the world on my pages. This is what it has come to. My videos are now world wide and the messages I get from across the 🌎 is unbelievable. I don't have time to talk to all these people but my husband does and loves it. We even have sexy men from Columbia and Brazil telling us how hot the videos are. Before we left for this last trip, manny asked was it ok for him to give a guy with a big dick my number. I told him yes. When the guy hit me up I told him I wasn't interested. This guy looks 14 years old. I told him to never contact me again and told manny that the guy was underage. Manny told me no he isn't he just looks young. I still told him no. The phone rings again and it's the guy with his identification showing me that he was 19 years old. He's a 19 year old with a BIG GROWN MANS DICK. his dick is huge and he knows how to bury his bone deep. Remember I told you how unmanageable my Twitter pages have become? There were several bottoms I reached out to who wanted to come over this past weekend for some of the big dick guys I had lined up. Well I hit up the wrong to come over to the apartment. I told my husband that he looked different in person, but he would have to do because the top was there. He was a sexy bottom but not the one I remembered talking to. Anyway he did what was expected and took those massive dicks. It wasn't until I got home when I realized I had called the wrong bottom to come over. The one I wanted hit me up Sunday and asked why I hadn't called him. I explained the situation to him and he understood. The bottom who was showing up to film told me about a big dick DOMINICAN HAITIAN MIXED GUY. I couldn't belive the size of this guy's dick when he arrived to the apartment. His is actually the biggest Dominican Dick I have seen to dare. I was in total disbelief when this guy pulled his pants down and got his dick erect. It was like a baseball ball. If you follow me on Twitter, you will see what I'm talking about when I post his poc next week. Another crazy thing that happened is a fan from my BlakSuperMan2 Twitter page was selling his Twitter page with 172k followers. He said he had fallen on hard times and really needed the money. He explained that I could make money from the page by allowing ppl to retweet on that page for a price. I bought his page and did exactly as he suggested. Recording, editing and posting videos is very time consuming, but I love the finished work and get lots of compliments on the onlyfans page. Hope I didn't bore you too much. Attached is the email sent from the porn star. I can't post his name because I don't want anyone to contact this stuf and fukc this up before we do our collaboration. Stay safe guys.1 point -

Tim Tales? Wow! I wasn't thinking it would even grow that big, but I guess anything is possible. I never believed the twitter pages would grow as exponentially as they have. Actually, I never even considered joining twitter until a member here made the suggestion. Again, I do all the editing and posting, but my husband is NOW THRILLED by all the notoriety the pages are garnering. He's even helping with the recording and setting up the sceneS. I appreciate your advice. I'm still in disbelief by all the attention and ppl Actually paying to be on my onlyfans page. I stopped posting there a month ago because it was beginning t0 be too much. thanks for your suggestions and kind words. The world needs more POSITIVE/ENCOURAGING PPL LIKE YOU. Thanks a million. It's June 14, 2022: I read this post on last Sunday, June 12. ...didn't post for I couldn't remember particulars regarding the following recommendation. In your initial post-- you asked for advice, so I'd highly suggest that you venture to Salvador (Bahia), the most African influenced city in "Mother Brazil." When I visited "The Falls" a few years back, I met a Jewish couple who'd been traveling in the country for a few weeks. During our discussion, the wife stated that I must go to Salvador Bahia, for it was definitely a unique place beyond other cities in Brazil. Well, I'd already had included that city during that particular visit, so her suggestion piqued and furthered my interest. While there I had a wonderful tour guide who I'd obtained from a gay tour agency that was based in Rio. Unfortunately, it's no longer, for the popular gay agent is deceased. My trip to Salvador was stellar; it was so great that I went there the second time a few years later and engaged the services of the same guide. Since this apparently will be your first time to that part of Brazil, I highly recommend your taking a few tours with Fernando Bingre (tour guide). I'd recommended his services and expertise to a friend who did visit, and my amigo was highly pleased and satisfied. Prior to Covid, Fernando had a website; today all of his superb information and photos can be found on tripadvisor.com along with his innumerable photos and reviews. Fernando is gay; his mentor and former guide (mine) is not, but he did respect and communicated with me most amicably. When you conclude this impending trip, I personally would appreciate reading about all of your experiences, for you initial post piqued my interests and encouraged me to make the preceding recommendation.1 point

Very very rarely have I had a guy more than really 1 hour. I tend to like it done quick and I get bored after more than say 1 hour . Its not timed just I like to take a guy back to my room and basically get on with it . Sometimes short time to me is less than 30 minutes! And yes I do tell guys that and some lower their prices back to 500b , that is going back a few years but if they are close by some will do less price for less time . As for long time I'm not keen as I'm more a loner and I prefer sleeping by myself at night.1 point

take reader's advice seriously . On another hand you are correct, nobody will measure time Western style so if you take it slow your bed will be warmed for 2, perhaps even bit more, hours. If , as reader said , you have quick trigger you can still tell guy you want him to stay with you for 2 hrs and most will do without any fuss. Long time on another had is till breakfast , whenever it happens, sometims at 6 , sometimes at 101 point

I guess too the difference in customers/farang to each area . I'm thinking more cheaper in Pattaya so more lower economic farangs ,to put it nicely 😂,just like myself. I wouldn't dare paying Bangkok prices, not all the time anyway. I wonder too if the type of farang going to Bangkok are more professional types in terms of occupational, one should do a study I guess😉1 point

It’s also tempting to soap up one’s anus, even without douching, and if there’s a handheld shower nozzle let the local water really get in there. I try to avoid that temptation when travelling, instead buying large cheaper bottled water and transferring it to manageable bottles, using a funnel, for ample rinsing when needed. Sometimes the self-cleaning oven feature is an adequate substitute for brillo pad scouring. I also use Cetaphil skin cleanser for that area. I don’t douche unless I fail the small dildo equivalent insert-and-detect because douching often stimulates my sigmoid colon and a messy bowel movement ensues that often otherwise would have been delayed until well after anal intercourse. This usually involves, paradoxically, douching repeatedly in one sitting to clean up the mess that the douche precipitated. Then there may be wet leakage for hours later due to overhydrating the rectum and the colon area leading up to the rectal stage. One issue is, of course, analingus readiness. Being the recipient of analingus is generally off the table but isn’t a big deal for me. I experientially know what I’m missing, meh, and all partners are trade whose own arousal FWIW in a transactional context is not predicated on sampling that tart.1 point

great thread and great news. World as a whole and any country doesn't need new pharaohs clinging to power for life. Limit of 2 terms served China well. Problems with Russia started when Putin manipulated constitution to allow himself to be in charge forever. Whoever invented term limits is greater inventor of all times well ahead of guy or girl who invented wheel, toilet paper or even sliced bread.1 point -

Xi Jinping facing unprecedented challenge from Li Keqiang
Ruthrieston reacted to PeterRS for a topic
Whatever Xi's motives, there seems little doubt that he is facing considerable difficulties behind the scenes at the very top of the country's leadership over his actions and his policies. There is definitely drama going on although no one outside the leadership is aware of exactly what it involves. There was a fascinating interview on a recent episode of the BBC World television programme Unspun World hosted by veteran foreign correspondent John Simpson. It claimed that Xi now has to worry about a three pronged attack. The most dangerous is the public backlash against his zero-covid policy. It is not just Premier Li's comments. It's a massive volume of social media posts, mostly couched in indirect language, from all around the country. The Politburo can only govern with the Chinese people on its side. For the first time in a very long time, there is an extremely large groundswell of anti-government feeling. Second is the economy. Premier Li has been talking about dangers to the country's economy for months. Recently he organised a huge and unprecedented teleconference with 100,000 leaders around the country. It is believed this went right down to village level. Unusually he was incredibly frank by telling people that the government had very few reserves left to bail out industries. Most of these reserves had to be kept for emergencies. Once the little that remained was gone, industries were on their own. He could never have made such comments without approval from the very top of the Politburo. Third is Xi's crackdown over the last few years on the private sector added to his cosying up to Putin on the eve of the Ukraine invasion. Many at the top level of government are not at all happy about all this. The Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of Russian Affairs was quietly removed from his post at the end of May. We don't know if that was an indication of the thinking higher up, but the level of rhetoric against the west re Ukraine in the state media has gradually been diminished.1 point -
Day 5 Dum was great and earned 500 bonus in the morning. We went to Foodland for a breakfast, staff seeing me so often with different guys started smiling knowingly and that grin will not leave their faces for next 2 weeks. After that I went for a stroll to Lumpini park and from there by elevated walkway over canal to Benakiti park still under construction. At one time in future it will be proper park, now is lacking shade here and there but I liked lake in the middle and running track around it. Easy to get to by public transport as it’s close to Queen Sirikit MRT station and it’s how I returned to Raya to pack and move to Baan Silom in soi 3. Room was not ready so I left my suitcase and went again , now having proper location , to see business of former model X I met few times in Dec and have strong hope to be able to repeat feast this trip. It was quite a trip all the way to Samut Prakan, first by BTS to Samrong and then by taxi to the mall where his business is located. He saw me from the distance , warm embraces , treated me with his product, in fact let me prepare it by myself behind the counter under his watchful eye. I don’t remember who was first to suggest it but we agreed to meet in my room in the evening after shop will close as we need to discuss receipts he is using. I mentioned before one of our member is recommending certain masseur he managed to find when he was in BKK earlier and since I trust his judgement I gave it serious consideration , contacted guy in question who said will be free today but price he quoted me, 4000 for 2 hr massage in house freeze me. But member told me he is worth it with exclamation mark so what choice I had. Asked guy , Phakin is his name to come . I can see screams from economizing readers about that racket but if I trust somebody , I do. And yes , as promised it was worth it. Massage was very thorough and professional, at the same time entertaining as he turned out to be talkative with good English and with personality comparable to that of certain Z , star of my 2019 trips some of my readers may recall and great sense of humor ‘if somebody fucked me I land in hospital sure”. Not only skills are great but he is quite handsome and very, very well furnished. So after massage was over we had our share of fun or at least certainly I had. I’m glad my cheap side did not prevail because by economizing I’d be losing chance of one of most memorable massage sessions in my 22 trips. Sorry guys I raised your blood pressure for paying that much for massage but believe me , I know what it means money well spent. After he left I went to soi 4 to treat myself with another schnitzel at G’Bangkok. From there to Hot Male downstairs where paulsf was already there and reader who just arrived in Bangkok today after 2 years covid hiatus showed soon .We had lots to catch up and we did although I was kind of distracted by one of their host , diminutive Laotian who seem to like me indeed. Surely he got a drink and 200 inside of his jeans when I went back to hotel around 10 pm because X lined me that he closed shop and is on his way. Another case when I was glad to forget about economy since he charges as guy of his built and charm , whatever it means , should. Absolute gem as far as I’m concerned, talkative , easy going and outside of his few limits, very social so to speak. One of those who on the spot understand what customers likes and what makes him hot. It was past 2 am. when he left so our short time was not that short. Well heated I decided that spending rest of the night alone would be mistake I fired Grindr and found somebody in vicinity who agreed to share my bed till morning for 1500, yes, just to share by bed. It turned to be funny story which I already reported here : https://www.gayguides.com/forums/topic/37804-my-funny-apps-story-from-last-night/ And here’s just copy and paste of what I wrote then: Last night at 2 am or so after my companion left I decided that is too scary to sleep alone and I need somebody if only to warm the bed and embrace me in my sleep, in short, no particular requirement and even brother of Hunchback of Notre Dame will do. So fired Grindr and it was somebody shown at 58 meters away, still online. Actually nice, good looking and at 178 not too short so I sent a message, answer come right away agreeing to complete the night from now till whenever. I gave location and stated that I will be waiting in front of hotel. And so I went downstairs looking right and left to a completely deserted soi for somebody to show but it was still empty. In about 5 minutes somebody appeared emerging from my hotel. That was a guy actually better looking than on an app. Turned out that he is in the same hotel. So via 7/11 we returned there, in elevator it turned we are staying on the same floor and when I asked what room you are staying, it was revealed that it was one opposite of mine with our heads leaning at the same wall, just from other side. So distance of 58 meters really was more like 28 centimeters. Who would think I was so well positioned? And good news is, I wasn't asked for taxi money!!! Easy money for him as I really wanted just somebody to embrace and pleasure for me as he was better looking and gave better feel than I expected based on Grindr pics. To complete day 5 , in the morning I invited him for breakfast triggering another round of knowing smiles by stuff at Foodland1 point

If you look at falang visitors as a whole, there is a distinction; many of those who are in BKK at a particular time are there for a short period...BKK+ CNX + beach, or variations thereof. Not so many BBK tourists stay for a week or more though I know some do . In Pattaya, on the other hand (or Phuket, for example), the beach location results in tourists staying longer. Not many will travel to Pattaya for just three or so days. There are also business men in BKK who are there for a couple or so nights only and may enjoy a bar or two. Soi Thaniya? This means that the guys on the scene in BKK and Pattaya may have different expectations, or even hopes and aspirations. In Pattaya, a successful interaction may lead to two weeks of paid employment while a BBK mb will be less likely to expect a repeat performance. On balance, I suspect that the Pattaya guy is likely to provide the better service. However, I've read of many falangs who have different experiences. I'm talking in generalities, of course. Another issue may be that the Pattaya guys often live close together and may even have arrived together as a childhood friends. I'm no expert on the bar-scene of today but my distinct recollection is that the Pattaya bars were more fun, with more inter-dancer interaction, teasing and joking and so on, compared to BKK, where the guys were more likely to be workmates...not "mates." Sometimes they may live miles away from anyone else in that bar. Just a recollection, mind you..1 point

Day 2 In the morning K was not hungry so went home and I went to world famous for a breakfast alone. After that I took my prescription and went to order new glasses. My current ones are also Bangkok natives and when I made them 6 years ago there was substantial difference between home and Thailand prices, less than half if I recall. Not so much now, another sign that LOS is moving up economically. Then booked dental appointment at Dr. Smile on Silom by Patpong and marched back to Tarntawan to pack and move to Raya. Their policy is to allow check in only after 3 pm although I doubt they are that full so I left luggage at reception and went to 7/11 on Suriwong around the corner from Tawan where I was supposed to meet K at noon for our Mahanakhon trip. Minute or two before noon I got ‘where you are ‘ message from him and indeed at noon on the dot he showed up. At K insistence we took taxi, laughable idea for such short distance but if he wanted , so be it. Actually I’m glad we did because shockingly it turned out driver took order but he doesn’t know where MahaNakhon is and we are taking highest building in Thailand with very distinctive shape. Past Chong Nonsi BTS he kept driving and driving until I intervened and he turned back. It must be something with that structure because here where I live I know personally guy who went there by BTS , disembarked as instructed by me at Chong Nonsi and still couldn’t find it even if Mahanahkon is practically atop of that station. Perhaps too close ? Anyways up we went and on approach to the famous glass I could see that my muscular guy is sweating extensively. Are you scared? ‘yes” . But to his credit he went there, allowed me to take few shots on his camera but no, he did not repeat my trick of laying face down on the glass. At least I could impress him. Fortunately he took all that stress well and was clearly happy with experience, when we visited impressive toilet with the view one floor down did not have problem of looking into chasm through the window. On the way to Raya we stepped at World famous for a lunch . In Raya room was already ready so we could start our scheduled massage session right away and no , it was not him who massaged me but other way around and I still paid him for a privilege, not that massage lasted whole 3 hrs. Great 3 hours. After he left heavy rain poured all of the sudden. I even expected he may be back but no he braved it to Tawan where his bike was parked he told me later. Jet lag and rain knocked me down and I collapsed on the bed till well past 8p.m. Woke up, showered and went to Hot Male downstairs for a chat with paulsf and bar boys there . At 10 planned trip to Moonlight where I hoped muscular A will be available but no, Tuesday curse. There were more staff than customers , Bee my first off in December recognized me and was circling hoping for an off but I pushed 100 baht into his briefs and left it there. Only 3 models on duty , Smart, Babe and Tum but they were entertained by some customers so no chance even for an eye contact. To bar’s credit there was still; show and models parade for us, only handful of spectators. So no off tonight sighted I , picked up phone and lined V , yesterday’s short timer if he is risking long time tonight. “Yes” answer and smiling sticker came back in less than 5 seconds. Not much later, despite rain he showed up on he steps of Raya. First we went to “Beer Garden ‘ former ‘ Eden Garden’ or whatever name it had seafood restaurant right across former soi Twilight. There are two waitresses I know for years, both not only recognized me offering hug but one of them shocked me by saying ‘you always order chicken with cashew nuts”, even if last time we saw each other was in Oct 2019 and we are in May 2022 ! I was dining there in December but none of those two were there, they returned only in February. So I was duly shocked and pleasantly surprised. In several days they surprise me even more but that’s for another day. V is modest guy so no expensive seafood stuff, just some regular dish and both filled up we went to the room by back elevator as Raya is closing front door at midnight till 6. He was impressed with size of Executive room I had and I was impressed how clingy he still is. Solid and sweaty gymnastics both past midnight and in the morning. V never disappoints thought I falling asleep in his embraces ending day 2 of the trip.1 point

Help: What to do in the Philippines
Heba as-sa3udeya reacted to GWMinUS for a topic
I was a frequent visitor to the Philippines. But now it has been 2 years since my last trip there. My first advice is to skip Manila, unless you have meet a sweet guy online and made arrangements to meet. As said previously, the Go-Go Bars and Massage Places are not worth your time or money. Online I find Gay Romeo a good way to meet guys. And there many gay men use Whatsapp. So if you only plan to visit Manila I would start chatting with Filipinos and then make plans to meet them in Manila. But I love going to the South of the Philippines. To Cebu, Bohol, Mandaue or Palawan. My reqular visits were to Cebu City or Davao City. I met many hot guys who loved older men! And we enjoyed Traveling or going out to Discos or to Shop. Of course the most beautiful beaches are on Boracay or Palawan. But now you need to plan ahead to get to visit Boracay. Though I think with the opening up of the Philippines, things will be changing. All in all the Philippines are a great place to vist and there many "right" young men to spend your time with there!! INGAT!!1 point -

Not so. I am not discouraging use of apps. What I said was "I've hardly ever used apps in the Philippines, so I have no experience to share." There's a reason why I haven't used the apps beyond surfing though them. I don't visit Manila for leisure. I visit for business and stay in hotels which will not let me bring guests back. Without a place of my own to host, it's not viable to get dates through apps. The reason why I don't feel any need to visit Manila for leisure should be pretty obvious from my description of the venues! One small factoid: Manila has quite a few "love hotels" where you can rent rooms by the hour. If I really, really wanted a guy off the app or off a macho dancer bar (such an occasion hasn't happened yet) this would be an alternative to the no-joiner-allowed hotels I get stuck in. But none of the straight and probably clueless-in-bed macho dancers have ever made my heart flutter.1 point -
Help: What to do in the Philippines
Heba as-sa3udeya reacted to macaroni21 for a topic
Although I've been to Manila few times, I can't much help the OP with his questions. I've found the gay scene quite frustrating. Perhaps that's because I've become so used to Thai business practices. To take the last question first (Where in Manila should I stay?). There will probably be no good solution since the (few) gay places are scattered. With the caveat that I've only been there a few times and even then I found that busnesses open and close quite rapidly, the hotel search should focus on Quezon City's Cubao and Timog areas (they're about 2 km apart and perhaps 30 minutes by Grabcar given the traffic situation day and night). Personally, I end up walking between the two areas. It's faster than by car. There is a third area with macho-dancer bars, and that's way to the south in the Baclaran area and along Roxas Blvd. Allow 90 minutes by car from Quezon. But this area seems to have no massage businesses, and so I don't prefer it. I've hardly ever used apps in the Philippines, so I have no experience to share. The two types of venues which I can describe are: 1. Macho dancer bars. The first thing to do is to jettison everything you know about Thai gogobars. Macho-dancer bars operate on a completely model (and if you think Thai bars can be a rip-off, wait till you see Manila's). Macho-dancer bars tend to have just one guy dancing at any one time, and in a dreadfully boring way too. Between dance numbers, the boys are available to sit with you, but the point of sitting with you is to make you drink up more and buy more. Offing doesn't seem to the business objective. It seems to me that bars don't even allow their hosts to leave early, and there may not be an "off fee" rate. Instead, the objective is/was to entice you to a "private dance" in some rat-hole at the back of the bar, where clothes come off... but what else can you do in 20 - 30 minutes in a large-ish closet with peeling paint and sticky faux-leather soafs? It's been at least ten years since I enquired about the rate for a private dance (duration=3 songs, if I remember correctly) and even then it was a ridiculous price, something like 80 - 100 euros. I have never observed any customer to take a host for a private dance. I've had hosts try to fix up a "date" with me on a different day while sitting with me. They say such and such a day will be their day off and they can go on a date. Then they talk about dining, and shopping... and when I ask what else, they go quiet. The problem seems to be that the guys are mostly straight and homophobia is never far from the surface. They don't have the language or latitude to discuss/negotiate sex sessions with clients. I have yet to successfully take a host from any macho dancer bar because I have never managed to get any meaningful communication on this issue. In other words, I really don't have much information to offer. These macho-dancer bars target women as much as men. In fact, I think they average more women patrons than men, so the bars do not have gay vibes. One more thing, the hosts speak even less English than most Thai gogo boys. 2. Massage There are/were several tiny establishments in the Kamias Road and Kamuning Road areas midway between Timog and Cubao, All are little more than slum shacks. I've come across one that had no running water for days and yet still tried to open for business. Some have airconditioning, others don't. Most are fire traps. The common practice is for the masseurs to line up behind a one-way mirror, and you pick one. Massage skills are almost non-existent. Lacking skills, they progress quickly to play, so getting 60 minutes out of them might be a small miracle. In this, aptitude and skills naturally vary a lot from one guy to another. Tips in the region of 2,000 pesos (about 30 euros) should suffice -- in addition to what the shop charges for "massage". -- There are other places like "O bar" in Ortigas area, "One 690 bar" on Don A Roces Ave, and one more in the Cubao area -- I forget its name -- that really are show bars, again targetting women as much as men. But getting there is time-consuming and in Manila, the shows are very very late.1 point
