I set about unpacking my stuff. I switched on Grndr. Within half an hour, i had 3 messages in inbox. One was a ladyboy so sorry I replied. One wanted to see photo of my body. Why? I already had my face on profile! The last was a guy who offered both massage and sightseeing tour services. Interesting combination. Shall consider. I also checked this forum inbox to meet fellow forum members. At 6.30pm, i received a message from a famous forum member. He was having dinner at Soi 4 and i quickly went off just to meet him. It was his final night in Thailand and he was leaving at night. I walked along the road that used to be Patpong Night market. What a sad sight. Many bars closed. I hope not permanently. There used to be a bar that had live music and lots of Japanese customers. The whole building was shuttered. Two or three girlie gogo bars had their lights on and were preparing for the night. A few touts approached me. "Ping Pong show?" No thanks. Domino's Pizza was open. I remember a meal there with a massage guy. He has since gone back to village. I see photos of cows in his Line account. Silom Road seemed buzzing unlike Surawong Road. Soi 4 was a hive of activity. Lots of guys hanging outside Balcony and Stranger bars. I found out later that there had been a Pride parade in the afternoon for the start of Pride month. I found forum member eating at G Bangkok with a muscular Thai guy. "Vinapu!" I said loudly! His companion was startled. I shook forum member's hand and we chatted as though we were old friends. In fact, it was my first time meeting him but I felt i knew him because of the posts on this forum over the years. I didn't want to intrude into his dinner with his companion so i wished him safe journey and hope to see him again another time this year. Before leaving, i asked him quietly where he found his friend. He whispered in my ear. "Tawan."9 points

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon after being away for two years. Not many people at airport. Need to check Thai Pass before proceeding to immigration. Quick process. Just show Thai Pass QR code on my handphone and the lady scanned it and marked my arrival card. I saw some tourists who printed A4 coloured pages of their QR codes. Not necessary! At immigration area no long snaking queue to reach the immigration counters. About 20 counters open and only 2 or 3 people queueing at each counter. I went to a counter manned by a boyish looking immigration officer with a high crew cut and tight fitting uniform and admired him as he processed my passport! No queue at SIM card counter and taxi stand. Not many cars on highway and roads as well but I attribute it to Sunday afternoon traffic. The moment the taxi driver turned left into Surawong Road, I felt right at home. Passed by The Raya which I had stayed many times in the past but this time, I would be staying at Le Meridien. Gave the taxi driver 500 baht and told him to keep the change as a Le Meridien staff unloaded my luggage. Very efficient and friendly service with great hospitality. I was served a welcome drink of orange juice as I did check-in. I had opted for long term stay at Le Meridien which cost about 2200 baht per night. Clincher was the daily laundry service. Sorry, Raya! I collected my card key and was told to go to room first. My luggage would be sent up shortly. My deluxe room on 16th floor gave me a good view. Spacious room with bath tub and separate shower. The door bell rang and a young lanky porter brought in my luggage. Tipped him 100 baht and he went off happily.8 points

Inside Tawan, there were 3 guys in white briefs with black dots. Leopard pattern. I would have prefered plain white but at least they are not in jeans. And their briefs are the bikini type which shows their dick shape clearly pointed down. All muscled guys but with many tattoos. Only one tall guy without tattoo and one boyish looking guy with only a small tattoo on his chest. He's the smallest size among all the guys hence vinapu called him a twink when he reported in Tawan forum topic. He's what i would call a twunk - a twink who works out in gym. But very offable. In fact, he would be offed by customer at end of show. Vinapu's dinner companion recognised and greeted me. I got him to sit with me. Excellent firm muscles but i told him no off as it was my first night and i wanted to take it slow. I bought him two drinks through the night and also tipped him. He was affectionate with me and gave me good strong massage. I think he would be an excellent LT. But he's not really my type. The show itself was entertaining - candle and wax performance by one guy, lip synching by 3 singers taking turns, one of whom was a ladyboy, SM themed act and simulated sex with 3 guys sucking another 3 guys but with condom. A group of 4 farang enjoyed themselves and were generously tipping. About 17 to 18 customers. About 10 to 12 muscle guys. To be truthful, i got the hots for one of the staff. He was buff and wore Hawaiian shirt. It was his black glasses that turned me on. Nerdy hottie! Mamasan was very friendly and helpful with questions. Show ended with big cock show by 3 guys. One of them let out a gush of creamy cum into the air. Spectacular! After that, final rotation for the night. Guys were naked to entice offs before midnight. I said goodbye to my newfound friend. I might go back if i fancy LT with him. Early days yet. Many more bars and guys to check out.7 points

Back in hotel room, i chatted with more guys on Grndr. No luck. I arranged to meet another forum member once he is in Bangkok a few days later. I also got back in touch with a Cambodian guy whom i knew previously from Lucky Boys. He is off on Wednesday and i enjoy having dinner with him as he's an excellent conversationist. I am hoping he will go with me to Fake Club. I obviously can't speak Thai so I need someone to guide me on my first time there. At 10pm, i crossed Surawong Road and proceeded to Tawan. Very small bar. It's a longish design with stage on one side and seats directly facing. It reminds me of Classic Boys at old Soi Twilight. Yes, that bar with the water tank and the merman performing. Hands up, those of you who watched that show!6 points

Just noticed yesterday that Olivia’s has reopened in a new location on Silom road in the vicinity of Soi 2 with a mostly all-male staff. Formerly with locations on Surawong and Soi Tarntawan (about where Tawan is situated today), the group of about 10 guys I think warrants further investigation. I’d been a satisfied customer of Olivia’s in the pre-Covid days and hope it lives up to the memories. All we’re sitting outside the shop Sunday, smiling in their blue polo shirts. https://www.facebook.com/OmassageKSPA/4 points

I walked back to Hotel. I used the small lane leading to Patpong. The shop that sold luggage now had half its space converted to a small food outlet. "SM show!" I heard. The unique SM show bar was still open. Good for them! I had always fantasized taking a guy in there but I could never broach the topic of BDSM with the guys I met. There were two girlie gogo bars open but the rest of the soi was dark. I had dinner at Foodland Patpong and bought drinks and snacks from supermarket. I always stock up as I didn't want any potential guests in my hotel room at night to be famished. I passed by the small bar below Freshboys. There was a bar tender and a farang was enjoying his drink while getting a shoulder and back massage by a waiter. I believe the staff are Vietnamese. I made a mental note to drop by for a drink one of these days.3 points

Actually I did the last time I was in M2M before Covid. Asked the waiter about a different dancer (who is also in the show tonight) if "he goes with customers". The waiter said he didn't know so I tipped him to get the dancer to talk to me. He literally dragged the poor boy from backstage but since the boy didn't speak a word of English, we just smiled at each other for a few awkward seconds and that was that.2 points

Gay Pride Bangkok 2022

I had 5 friends that went and loved it. None were sex workers and all said it was fabulous and they felt empowered. 3 of them were lesbians. Sure, this is not the same as Taiwan or NYC marches. But, it is a great celebration and I'm thrilled that this is progressing so well.2 points -

The planning stage
splinter1949 and one other reacted to TMax for a topic
More like the hope stage than planning. Starting to think ahead to my trip for next year, March maybe, I know it's a long way off and things can change but it's good to start thinking about it and there are things here at home that require my attention before then. So far I look at the flights, Thai Airways are currently not flying the direct Perth to Bangkok route but hoping they start up again soon, every time I flew that route the flights were near full so there's hope. If they don't start up before I'm ready then it will be Singapore Air which is ok but the preference is a direct flight. Hotel choice will come down to either The Raya (stayed there a few times and liked it) or the Tarntawan (an old favourite) but I guess it will come down to the best value at the time. Hopefully by then things will have got back to normal or close to what it was before with plenty of massage shops open, lots of lost time to make up for so hoping the boys will be as horny as ever. Hell I might even start visiting some of the bars for a change. I am also interested to get away on some day trips so a bit of research to do, there are some old favourites that I will revisit like Ayutthaya. I have missed my trips over the last few years and I am hoping nothing else comes along to screw things up again.2 points -
Help: What to do in the Philippines
groenthusiast and one other reacted to chum_soccer for a topic
I have lived in Manila for 20 years. Most of the things mentioned in this forum about Philippines are just the tip of the iceberg of what this country has to offer. All you ever gonna need is https://peoplelikeus.activeboard.com/. It is mostly in Tagalog (just use google translate) but asking/replying in english is pretty much welcomed over there. It has everything you will ever need for your sexcapade in the Philippines. It has classified and field reports of filipino money boys (both freelance and affiliated with massage shops), massage shops reviews, gogo bars reviews, sauna/bath houses reviews, even tips and tricks on how to book basketball players, models and celebrities. So yeah.. you're welcome2 points -
Freshly in office at City Hall, Bangkok’s newly elected governor yesterday vowed a return to “normal life” including no face mask rules and later closing times for nightlife venues, the Thaiger is reporting. Chadchart on Sunday also proposed allowing night owls to remain at bars and nightclubs until 2am. Currently, the law requires they shut by midnight. Chadchart said the extended hours would reduce overcrowding, attract more tourists, and benefit the economy, as long as strict health measures are in place. “When alcohol sales were banned during the pandemic, many sought to drink in the streets,” Chadchart said. “I think it’s better to allow nightlife venues to open until later and regulate them.”2 points

Colombia: full list of hot spots
Xclay and one other reacted to oobabooba75 for a topic
Thanks for your posts and solid information. It was very helpful and It helped me navigate to my first Medellin top. I did exactly what you wrote and hit them up on WhatsApp. I have no idea who I was talking to when I messaged them because I never met him. So how it went down: - I suggest messaging Ferchos on WhatsApp a few hours before you go. There is no point messaging the day before and definitely not earlier than that. They have a 24 hour default timer on so whatever exchanges happen on Whatsapp disappear after 24 hours. - They/he will not engage in English. It is Spanish and only Spanish so if like me, you don't Speak Spanish, have google translate or another translate app to go back and forth. This is essential or you'll get nowhere. The guy is patient so no worries if it takes awhile. - They/he will send a pretty substantial number of photos/video's of guys available. I'd say he sent a good 20. Most were hot but some so so. That said, everyone has varied tastes so you get a bit of everything which is good. - I was asked if I wanted to choose or go with who he recommended based on what I was looking for (I was looking for a top as he asked what you want sexually). The guys he recommended to me didn't do it for me though, so I chose my guy (which was not easy). I settled on a Hot mixed Venezuelan as it turns out. I have no idea his age as they don't volunteer that info though i'm sure they will tell you if you ask. I'd put him between 23-25 - perfect for me... Nice package needless to say - Once you are set with your choice and let Ferchos know you simply arrange a time and go. He'll ask if you know the location and as stated - Bliss Suites Hotel. The prices all in for the Chico, the hotel is 150K Colombian pesos which is not really going to bust the bank. - When you arrive at the hotel just send him a whatsapp message that you arrived. Here is where it gets a bit interesting. A girl actually comes down to let you in. She asked me if I was looking for a Chica and I said no a Chico. She let me in and I waited at the reception. Please note this is a pay by the hour type motel so there will be customers there setting up their own business. Nobody is judging so no worries. - after waiting about 10 minutes (I'm Punctual but this is Latin America lol) - My guy arrived at the reception. Again, and expectedly he didn't speak a lick of English BUT he was HOT HOT HOT so my excitement level went through the roof. You pay the Hotel the agreed upon fee. In this case it was 150K as I stated the above. So you do not pay the boy you pay the hotel. - They then give him the keys to the room and you're set. The room is clean and had a jacuzzi, disco lighting lol, a fan and well a sex bed that was perfectly fine. - From there well - you have your session and he certainly didn't disappoint at all. He was very sweet as a person but a bull in bed. I was definitely satisfied. - That's it you check out and overall a good experience. Would I do it again - 100 percent. Sure you are paying but it is safer - especially for me as a newbie in Colombia and you get what you want. I went in the late afternoon and didn't have any feelings of being insecure walking the streets to the motel. That said, If going later say after 8 or 830 probably better to take a taxi or uber. If anyone wants any further details feel free to message me2 points -
Sao Paulo early June 2022
Sherlocked reacted to Canadianbtmguy for a topic
First tip: beware of flights to VCP. Although Azul flights include a free bus to Sao Paulo, which I did not research, but kind of assumed would be like half-hourly or at least hourly, are surprisingly infrequent. Made a bad decision in hindsight to check out the Priority Pass lounge (talk about perennial dashed expectations!) on arrival and just missed the bus to Barra Funda. The next one was an hour and a half later, and that to CGH airport. I was tempted to title this topic. "Flight lands at noon at VCP; will I make it to the saunas?) Still, it was nice to wait outside the terminal, where the weather was back in my comfort zone (70F) from the ever-increasing heat and humidity of Rio. From my informant (a short slender twink at Lagoa, not at all my type, but friendly and speaks English fluently), The schedule at Lagoa is: Fri and Sat busiest, Sun hit or miss, Mon surprisingly busy, Tues slowest, Weds picking up a little, Thurs pretty busy. For those sauna lovers short on time, it seems that Rio's 2 best days are SP worst, so could fit together nicely. As for the boys...what to say. There are A LOT of very large to huge cocks attached to short slender bodies (which gives me a sort of weird quasi-pedo vibe, but some surely like this). Some of these have handsome faces, most are pure dick plays. Very few guys with really good bodies (for me, idiosyncratically, good body means tallish at least 5'10", there are a few guys with short good bodies, (including one with huge thick cock) but not even so many of those. In my previous Rio posts I referred to a West-African-looking guy, who was absent on my last day in Rio at 202 (he seems to have very good attendance...). Well, I walk into Lagoa Thursday and...there he is. Now he is the star of Lagoa. (speaking of star, he has a large star of David tattoo on his chest, which can further aid identification). Apparently his gf lives in Sao Paulo and he is in town because it is his birthday Sunday. I mishear him that he will turn 24, which seems prefectly reasonable, and is only revealed as an error when he shows me a picture of his 12 year old daughter. He's actually turning 34. Shows absolutely no sign of decline physically. Maybe a bit in the stamina tho, I said that if I went again with him, I didn't know whether it would be like the first 2 great times or the last boring one. He said that he had already cum twice that night and was tired. Apology accepted and I went with him again. Very good. A couple of muscle boys there look kind of steroidy in the sense that their skin seems stretched too tight, like they are almost popping out of their skin before it has a chance to adjust. Talk to both of them, they are ok, but the steroidy thing kind of a turn off. There is another more appealing tall, very white sort of Eastern-European looking kind of guy (kind of the other extreme to the west-african guy. He is tall muscular, almost slightly soft muscles compared to the steroid ones, not a Bel Ami face, but not too bad either. He seems oddly low energy, though, which portends ill for his performance. Dick is not super long, but thick. (He once got it hard and showed it off in the shower, but otherwise he does not display it). But despite nodding and smiling at him--twice--which most GPs would pounce on far less encouragement he hasn't said hello. Nor have I seen him smile yet. I guess I will have to approach him. Even if he is inauspicious as a bad lay, I will probably still give it a roll before I leave because he is really the only other guy there besides the west-African guy who really appeals to me. If any of you guys are in SP please let me know. I will go to Lagoa tonight. I usually have my phone at hand in its identifiable lime green case, or just send a message here. Probably will skip Lagoa tues and wednesday (prob back on thursday before my night flight to MIA) and go for the online scort ads. Have to force myself to rise above analysis paralysis (there are sooo many, how to choose?) Looking for the perfect guy, I will never find (actually I did in Brasilia a few years ago); have to just pick one I really like and hurdle the FOMO of finding the perfect one. May also hit the massage places, Inhouse has some appealing guys. Not really much for massage per se though, I have to reread the post as far as how cumbersome it is to go beyond massage...1 point -
I was in M2M, Jomtien Complex, tonight to watch their Monday show. It was good, highly energetic as usual. There is one dancer who looks hot and I think he's also the best dancer of the night. Probably even has some formal training in dancing the way he moves and pirouettes. Just wonder if we have a chance to off a performer from a show? Anybody here tried it?1 point

Have to confess that I was unaware of the Gay Pride parade that took place today. As I stepped off the BTS at Saladeang about 6:45, I was quickly made aware by the raucous crowd assembled on Silom opposite the Silom Complex. Gay Pride Bangkok 2022

I remember marching in NYC in from the mid 80s to the early 90s. There was endless whining about the drag queens and the flamboyant people that gave "the wrong impression" and "held us back from acceptance". It was bullshit then and it's bullshit now. "Straight-washing" the community does us no favors. Those who want to oppress will always find an excuse. If you start trying to exclude parts of the community to please the bigots, you're just doing their work for them. They'll still hate you. If even one drag queen shows up, they'll point only to that photo and insist we're all perverts. As the facebook page Z909 posted shows, it looks like a pretty normal crowd to me.1 point -
I’m simply saying—as a gay man who has repressed his sexuality— I now can appreciate the cost of those years. I’m heartened by the courage I witnessed on Silom yesterday by those who believe that change is indeed possible. To quote T.E. Lawrence, “Nothing is written.”1 point

One guy I recently offed in Moonlight doesn't think Nicky is muscular too. He didn't call him fat but said something along that line. The guy I offed is the most muscular/ripped floor boy in Moonlight and he's from Chiang Mai so most Moonlight patrons here would probably know who I am talking about. First time I saw Nicky was last January, back when Moonlight models were still in Hotmale. I remember saying "God, I love Bangkok" the first time I saw him shirtless and in jeans lip-synching a chinese song. He def could pass as a local celebrity, imo. Not sure if this still holds true but my mamasan friend in hotmale told me I can off him for 1000 bar fine and 5000 tip but I may be disappointed with the length, if you know what I mean. If anyone here had off him, I'd be very interested to hear the field report.1 point -

Air Rage: How Would You Tackle It?
splinter1949 reacted to PeterRS for a topic
This is one issue that the airlines have brought on themselves. First by encouraging passengers to take carry-on baggage rather than pay for luggage in the cargo hold, and second by not policing passengers to ensure that the number of carry-on bags is not more than permitted by the conditions of the ticket. When I was working full time in the Asian regional offices of three international companies, I had to travel each year to several company offices. The least expensive way to do this was usually with a round-the-world ticket. Not only did these have the perk of several more flight sectors than I needed (up to 16 until around 2004 when it was reduced to 14 on OneWorld) - thereby permitting several short vacation side-trips at almost no cost, as I was allowed biz class travel the tickets were automatically upgraded to first class within the USA if, as was usually the case, there was no biz class on the plane. Not that first class was anything like a first class in most other areas of the world - in fact, space-wise not even on a par with premium economy nowadays. But it did permit much faster check-in, lounge access and free drinks on board. What always annoyed me was that some passengers who boarded the aircraft first would plonk their bags in the overhead bin at the front before moving down to their seats at the back. So first class bins were often full by the time premium passengers boarded. Only very occasionally would flight attendants stop this. Since these days, I have found that only Easyjet in Europe has been very strict on carry-on bags and bag dimensions (haven't flown Ryanair and so have no comparison). In Asia, though, despite often stringent regulations on carry ons, I have never once seen any airline staff stop passengers who take on board more bags then permitted. And like @Olddaddy's experience, it is frequently Indian passengers who bring a very large number of shopping bags on board. I don't really blame the passengers. If an airline has rules and 99 times out of 100 fails to enforce them, then its staff are to blame. Last point on air rage. I have written several times to the so-called legacy carriers in Asia requesting that boarding passengers who have large backpacks be forced to hand carry them on to the plane. Twice I have been hit on the head when in an aisle seat and a late boarding passenger has suddenly turned around resulting in my getting hit on the head by the backpack. Fortunately I wear spectacles. If I did not, on one occasion the loose end of a thick strap that hit the spectacles could have badly damaged my eye. But writing is clearly a waste of time for I still see flight attendants happily accepting passengers wearing large backpacks.1 point -

I was in Winner Boy Bar yesterday, quite early, around 8.30 pm. There were about a dozen boys in underwear and 3 other customers (6 at the time I left). There was one boy, who came to work and stripped down to his undies just to pull up again to go with a customer. It happened that fast Soft drinks 89B, boy drinks 150B (boys get 50B per drink). You can buy a bucket of ping-pong balls, 20B apiece, and throw them at the boys Boys get 10B for each ball they get hold of (just to be clear: I'm still talking about the ping-pong balls). When I left, there was an elderly farang (the bar owner?) at the door who thanked me for coming. So far, I never offed any boys from the bar, but like its laid-back atmosphere and also the boy playing-around. Will definitely come back. Sunee still looked pretty dead even on Sat night. Aside from Winner Boy, there was only one other bar (Euro boys$) open with no customers1 point

Second is from today morning. Waiting for green light in front of king statue at Lumpini noticed good looking guy who impatiently just crossed street on red. Sent him second long look of condemnation and even followed him with glance as he was quite a something in looks depertmnent. Hour ot two later got message on Grindr from guy the I looked at him in the morning. Asked if he is red crossing guy, yes he was. If they are hot and reply to me they are a money boy 😅 You can just ask where they work, if they say student, restaurant or regular shop 50% chance MB, if they say bar or massage 100% chance. Then they will sometimes just tell you they are a money boy, or you can ask if they want money to come to your hotel. It's not seen as a rude question in my experience as long as you don't make it weird.1 point
