Mid May, I planned a short visit to Bangkok after a business trip. Thailand Pass was easy to get, even if converting all pdf’s into jpeg made me waste some time. I’m a big fan of the Raya hotel on Surawong road, so I booked the Executive Suite on the top floor. It was a bargain for such a nice room : 2400 baht per night. Like other 'karaoke' bars, Friendly Club is basically a 'Host Bar', you call a boy down to join you, and his job is then to entertain you for the next hour and drink your whisky haha .They can just talk to you, dance with you, flirt with you. The level of flirting may depend on how drunk you both are, and if the guy likes you or not. What you are not going to get is the sort of sexual groping you might get in some of the boy bars. Keep in mind that the 'typical' customer in these places are Thai girls, although most boys will happily entertain male customers. Talking about freelance MBs and their asking prices, my experience is that MBs in commercial areas in Bangkok often ask for 2000 ST and quickly settle for 1500. Can confirm Vinapu’s observations. Compared to my first visit, the show itself has improved to more professional level with lots of energy supplemented with Silom’s best light show. I'm Vietnamese myself and to me, Viet boys are still the cutest (pardon my patriotic biases). I'll jumpstart this topic with some of the few places that I have already been and I will list down a few other places that I know and hopefully some of our members can explore and share their experiences as well. So here it goes: Chill HostBar This is located in Nonthaburi which is around 20 minutes from the Grand Palace in Bangkok. I would recommend this to first timers since the owner can speak english well and they have models whose first language is english. Some models are magazine-models-quality and most are straight. Sitting with the boy is 750/hour. VIP room starts at 300/hour. No sex in the VIP room but kiss and blowjob is alright. I was able to off someone for 500 THB and there is a motel across for the same price. The model I offed grew up in Australia so he is a Thai with an australian accent. Fucks and kisses hard. I tipped him 1,700 after. One word of advice though is that the owner can be a little shady. He ordered food which I ended paying in the end. I've also been told that the VIP is getting prepared (even though I was the only customer that time), preparation took 1 hour and turns out I was already paying 750 for sitting with the model. VIP room is 300/hour and sitting with the boy in the VIP room is 750 for the first hour and 250 for the succeeding hours. No sex in the VIP room is allowed but kiss and blowjob are okay. Staff speaks limited english so you will need to use google translate if you don't know basic Thai. The boy I sitted with is straight and fairly new to the business. I was only able to kiss him and fondle his cock in the VIP room. He was too shy to get a blowjob in the bar. You would have to go inside the parking of the same building and take the stairs one floor down. You will need to take an ATK (100/THB) to get inside. So a beer costs 260 THB, ice is 130 THB and sitting with a boy is at least one beer/hour (which is 260 THB). However, they employ a bidding concept wherein guests can fight/bid over the boy/models that they want, meaning if you bid to sit the model for one beer and someone else bid two beers (520 THB), you would have to bid three beers (730 THB) to get him and so on.. Bidding happens every after hour so all the boys would return to the stage to get bid for every after hour. Customers are mostly Thais although, there was also a group of Chinese. What suprises me is that almost all of the 40-50 models get seated for atleast two beers. Some groups would sit 3-5 guys so be prepared to shell out some moolah to compete. I sitted a boy who can speak english and ended up sitting him for two beers for 4 rounds. My bill racked up to 4,500 with no sex, blowjob or kiss nonetheless, it was a fun night. There are a few other places in Bangkok with more or less the same concept (pay to sit the boy with no expectation of sex). This could be thrilling for others (like me, lol) who like a challenge in laying a straight guy. I realized the last time I was at Aquarius in Istanbul the guys share quite a bit about the clients among themselves. Typically, it's easy to fake via words, but it's much harder with physical contact. All my good experiences have been when there has been contact and physical interest. I use the buying the drink time to see how touchy feely a guy can be and I've sent many guys back to the "pool" so to speak because they failed to pass that test. One of my most memorable offs was from Screwboys. The guy was all over me the moment he sat down and had no hesitation to make out with me in front of all his colleagues. It translated well to the bedroom where the activities were nothing short of adventurous and thrilling. In short, looks and words can be deceiving.

There were only 4-5 shows and the whole thing lasted for only 25 minutes I think. Mamasan said that they might be another show every 12:30am in the future. Shows are rather boring compared to Hotmale, Dreamboys and Freshboys. Some seemed recycled from Dreamboys too (It's raining men and Sexbomb) although they say that the shows are different each day. First Mamasan quoted me 500 bar fine and 2,500 for the tip. Second mamasan quoted me 500 bar fine and 2,000 tip for floor boys and 1000 and 5000 bar fine and tip, respectively for models. There are both straight and gay models. I've only seen couple of guys who were my type but I didnt off anyone. Overall, the bar seems promising. All the mamasans are very accommodating. One thing that annoyed me though is that the mamasans flock and beg customers for some tip when they bill out. I went back last saturday and offed a cute straight lao guy. He seemed very game and playful as he always dances but turns out he is the complete oppossite. He is byfar the worst off that I have had in Bangkok. Maybe its because of the language barrier but he wasnt very communicative even when I try to use google translate to talk to him. He didnt even get hard. The whole off lasted for only more or less 30 minutes .. so yeah i will probably wont be coming back for a while but its worth going in for a try.

While calculation presented above is correct it would be accurate only if we were to buy our guys by the kilo. We need to price in at least 2 factors, experience in being in bar and instant gratification. Whether is worth extra 2700 is as much matter of debate as is not easy to solve in arithmetic formula. Yesterday,s visit there was fun because of my company as well as of interaction with the stuff in the bar. Sitting in the room and combing through the screen would not provide for that. Some are happy to save that money, others rather go out and have fun at a price. As for instant gratification unless we know what we hiring it may be tiring to go through all that vesting process. I can see fun side of it but gambling is not for everybody. It, s why we don,t like all those boys dressed on the stage, removal of t-shirt may reveal impressive 6 pack but olso ugly tattoo or scar.

Yeah, for me, I wouldn't say I'm sick of the gogo bars, especially since I haven't been to one in years, but it's more about finding a guy that makes my heart skip a beat. It's not even about a "type", but a special quality. I've already seen photos of two guys at Chill that give me the heart beat skip...and thus will end up with too much of my money.
