Right now there are about 15 Vietnamese guys working. Most are at FreshBoys. A couple at New Twilight and a couple at Jupiter. I think you’ll find their English is greatly improved over the last few years. I know most of the Vietnamese in Patpong and fortunately don’t have the issues Z909 has. As with all working guys there are those that will and those that won’t. Let’s just say that right now the off rate for Vietnamese is very good, To the point they have all been offed on the same night at FreshBoys several times the last couple of months. There are enjoyable evenings to be had.

I can give a thumbs up to K-man spa, a massage shop located a few steps from Saphan Kwai BTS stop. It’s down a small soi on same side of road as Big C (directional on FB site). What I particularly liked was the policy of identifying masseurs’ preferred role (“top” or “top and bottom”) on its FB site. It’s been my experience they serve as good indicator of what customer can actually expect. standard room with massage table with shower down the hall. There’s a small lock box in room. They also offer a VIP room. The room I was taken to was on third floor. Small bottle of water on arrival. Manager shows you those available on tablet. I visited Gannymede Spa near Paya Thai BTS laSt night at 7.30. Only 2 boys to choose, semi athletic both. Wery well maintained institution, shiny and clean. Massage wS, very good but somehow afters despite my clear overs were not offered. Perhaps I'm not attractive enough. So I left both disappointed and happy with envigorating massage. Bit costly, 900 for 1,5 HR session and 1500 minimum tip. Puts 5000 long time requests by some models in a favorable light I guess.

I Skipped Sunday and Monday at the saunas because the previous week they were lackluster. Tuesday was pretty good at 117, especially if it would be your first time there. Basically, what I am looking for is guys so far out of my league that I really have no hope of getting for free on Grindr. For me this means tall(ish), muscular, handsome. If I was more forward with strangers, I would be tempted to see where I could get with them. ALso has excellent airconditioning. A decouvrir. My last recommendation is Slow Bakery in Botafogo (supposedly also in Ipanema). Top quality 21st century bakery. California-quality sourdough olive bread and pains au chocolat. On my flight now to VCP (yeah, I know, but the days of the $50 sdu-cgh appear to be long gone) so I will put my SP observations in a new thread.

I spend 2 days in bangkok last week, and was able to sample 4 of the clubs. (too bad, you can only go to 2 per night for the shows.) There are many Vietnamese in Bangkok but the majority are in other lines of work. Those that do work in massage and the bars tend to have a strong following as witnessed by the success of Screwboy. It may take longer to get to know them as individuals but certainly glad that I did.

Last night a squad of BIB came to Silom soi 4 and took photos ('look boss we're here and few customers') outside the ex Welcome bar. They strode off and soon later, the local soi policeman (not present at the photo op) rushed to every bar insisting that they close at midnight sharp.

This trip I stay in following hotels: Tarntawan, Raya, Baan Silom, Copa, TheVenue, Classrooms, Furama Xclusive Sathorn, At 21 Saladaeng and Baiyoke Sky so obviously have some fresh comparison material. While none of them was ideal and here were some issues of very minor nature in each of them as far as i can see warts and all Raya is top choice. It,s only one think don,t like there - they seem strictly adhere to 2 pm check in policy so if you arrive earlier make sure you have suitable arangements to fill waiting time.

No pictures yet, but I am reliably informed that today's re-opening of Winner Boys was a great success. Between fifteen and sixteen boys in the bar, and dancing in underwear! Quite a few 'offs' reported and most boys saying they got 5 or 6 drinks each. So a steady flow of customers. Lets hope that this is only the start of the bar's recovery.

I always find it interesting to read about prices on this board. I like the twinkies and usually get quoted ST between 1000 and 1500 baht. Depending on the location, it could even be less or for longer. The gay scene is very different from the girly bar scene but some tricks are universal I suppose. I stayed at the Raya back in 2019 and quite liked it. The rooms were spacious, and the location is convenient. The only drawback (for me) was crossing Surawong Road.. there just seemed to be an endless stream of traffic and it was difficult to cross. I can't remember what sort of room I booked but I had a window, and a balcony. I send him 250 plus 15 for uber and I close the ap. I'm sure that when I reopen it there will be 30 messages on there threatening me and demanding the rest.
