To complete Silom offerings yesterday I went to the last not visited bar - Hot Male. Few hours before I was chatting downstairs with two members and in meantime was entertained by one of their host, pleasant but shockingly dimunitive Lao boy who suggested he may consider to accompany me to a show in bar proper upstairs. Risky move on my part allowing world to see me in company of twinky twink of twinks, but I risked ruining my reputation and see what will happen. Re-reading this thread and following all of yesterday's drama.... For the naysayers, the location of this encounter is very questionable. Angelo is a known escort that does the circuit, I have seen his ad in Bogotá, Medellín and Calí and he does the Mexican circuit as well (plenty of Colombian escorts do stints in Mexico City). So that made sense to me until... The hotel named is not a "love motel" but rather a low-cost hotel that caters to backpackers and budget-travellers (including families). So that is questionable, when there is a love motel located in nearby Castropol, so I appreciate @Slvkguy detective work here. Angelo would have known the difference. Point #3; I am inclined to agree. Best in class, over an entire month inclusive of Lagoa, a guy in one of the massage spas at 60% the cost of the former venue when accounting for admission, 1-hour cabin, and 1-hour bonus for the garoto de programa. However, it’s worth it to utilize both formats, as entry to Lagoa is not so exorbitant even if you are just there to enjoy the energy, social interaction, and particularly entertainment on nights that is featured … as well as the possibility of a rare gem.

I just came back from Brazil a few weeks ago. Headlines: 1. Didn't bother going to 555, given how mediocre even Lagoa was. 2. Lagoa is just not like the sauna of yore in the old location. The horse-dicks are still there as well as many twinks and "veterans" (guys I passed up 5 or 10 years ago). But gone are the massive muscles and flawless beauties you want to suck face with for half an hour. Gone is the ambience of a horny frat house you can rampage through like a slutty cheerleader. On my two visits, I barely hooked up with one garoto each time. 3. But that doesn't by any means suggest that hot muscle sex in Sao Paulo is no longer happening. The scene has moved to the "tantric massage" houses, where I found bods to compare with the best from 20 years at old Lagoa. They are more expensive and less participatory, though participation seems to be upwardly negotiable along with fees. However, one guy at a massage house (250-350 R) does not cost much more than a sauna visit where you could find only one guy to your liking (150 + ~120 sauna entry & cabin). In return, you get a much nicer room, more time, and even something almost approaching a professional massage. 4. For nostalgia, I went to the old Lagoa site. Veterans here might remember this ritual: the shopping center with the metro stop, the Habib's for a pre- or post-snack, and what used to be the Citibank I withdrew garoto cash from. But the former happiest place on earth is now a construction site with another skinny condo tower going up. 5. Rio was better but also subdued. Will write more about that maybe later.

Return leg just completed. Fast check in. Took off only about 15 mins late. Scoot plus as described before, a premium economy seat with basic frills. 30 mb free Wi-Fi worked. The meal included is basically one of those 99 baht 7 eleven microwave deals! Take snacks and all good in flight entertainment. Well, you do get one of those lift up from the are rests trays you could use, or you could wrap your tablet in bubble wrap, or even let it potentially slide all of 50 cm to a carpeted floor! only downer was the hour wait for baggage, but that’s Gatwick’s screw up not Scoot. All in all delighted with what I got for £830 direct flight return. However I see in next few months they are charging around double that no doubt capitalising on their lack of competition for direct flights.

Maybe I can help here, I know a little bit about Medellin. Club 55 (Cl. 55 #45 - 44, Medellín) is very popular on the weekends with a younger crowd. There is an active maze, darkroom and steam room on the second floor. The jacuzzi is a good place to get social, practice your spanish and have a drink while you get to know who is in the building (the main staircase is directly beside the jacuzzi (turco en español). They also have massage attendants until 7pm, but you say you are both uninterested in paying. The attendants will hang out by the bar next to the pool when they are looking for customers. I have been told that Sauna Cruising (Cra. 45d ##57-44, Medellín) is the hot new place that draws in the youngest and best looking crowd. The facility is just 2 years old and easy to get to on public transport, just off the main street of Avenida Oriental. The Thermas Sauna club (Cl. 57 #43 21, Medellín) is an old school sauna just down the street from Sauna Cruising that many locals swear is the best place for hot sex and little posing. El Castillo Sauna (Cra. 45d #59-63, Medellín) is a new establishment that has the advantage of staying open later than most. Finally, if you are comfortable with your language skills and navigating the city, the Glass VIP sauna in Bello (metro station Madera) is very popular and busy on the weekends. Yes, a good conclusion to an evening at Sansuk. My singleton-trips to Pattaya invariably ended with a lonely dinner in PIC Kitchen.....the sala with chairs as opposed to the one where you had to sit on the floor. Unusual menu, traditional service reminiscent of the Good Earth in Chiang Mai. Two years ago, I saw a bill-board in Jomtien announcing its re-opening. Did that happen? Now P and enjoy two Thai restaurants in Terminus 21. Sadly, two years of ageing since I was there means that I can't even remember the names.

Related to this, Winner bar in Pattaya has posted on Facebook that entertainment can legally operate as of June 1st, so they will be opening fully as a gogo bar. The announcement was accompanied by a photo of guys NOT in jeans.

I guess it also depends on how quickly you get through Immigration & Customs. If there is a line of people awaiting processing, perhaps you can walk to the head of the line.
