Silom bars
khaolakguy and 3 others reacted to macaroni21 for a topic
As far as I can remember, I made just the one visit to Super A in the 1990s and never went back. The visit lasted no more than one minute. Even so, it made a deep impression on me, starting with my shock at seeing only emaciated bodies, with the guy nearest me whipping his cock out even before I had a chance to find a seat. Somewhere in one corner was a farang sucking off 2 or 3 boys who formed a semi-circle around him. Taking a deep breath and collecting myself, I chose a seat, but just as I was about to lower myself into it, I saw a small pool of cum on the faux leather. I sprang up, looked for another seat only to see torn upholstery everywhere else, and decided that I was not sitting down anywhere. I turned to leave, but in my hurry kicked a small coffee table, whose leg immediately gave way and the table collapsed. I could not flee down the stairs fast enough. (Actually, I'm not even sure it was Super A. It might have been some other bar in the general area, but it was an upstairs place.)4 points -

Forgive an old man reminiscing....but I went to the original upstairs Super A on my first trip to BKK in 1996. The mamasan gave a signal, the briefs were lowered and the guys started masturbating. All of them. I was the only customer and something of a newbie to the Thai sex scene; embarrassed, I made my excuses and left.4 points -
To add to my previous post, I would describe Nice Boys as a 'hidden gem', a relic of the glory days of Sunee Plaza. It offers hands-on fun at modest prices. You can go in some days and it is buzzing - plenty of boys on stage, a number of customers. Other days there you might find yourself the only customer and maybe only three or four boys lounging on the sofas at the far end of the stage or even asleep on the seating on the far side of the bar and your temptation would be to turn around and leave. Don't! There is fun to be had on both scenarios. For the former, in a busy bar, just join in, although keep in mind that the more popular boys with probably have cum at least once already that night - not that that will stop them trying again of course. For the second, drinks all round and/or tips and they will not only wake up but you will be their centre of attention. Maybe even splash-out on a small bottle of whisky and watch their clothes fall off and their cocks harden around you and who knows what will happen. I have spent memorable nights in Nice Boys under both scenarios. I have frequently gone in with two or three other gay boys who also happily join in the fun, stroking and sucking the Nice Boys boys; you can easily get quite a little party going. One slight word of caution is that they still use the wooden bar bins and chits of paper for every order and your 'bin' can mount-up. I rarely get out of there with a bin of less than a 1,000 baht and on one memorable night, I went in with my little gang, left with a couple of extra boys for the night, and my bin was just about 6k baht plus my various tips to the boys themselves, but that included off-fees and whisky. Absolutely no regrets about my bins here, but I would advise having enough in your wallet to enjoy yourself if things start to take-off (so to speak). The management have seen it all before, and as the cum starts to fly, the papasan will casually walk around depositing toilet rolls on your tables to help mop us 🤣 For my debauched little mind, this is currently my absolute favourite bar in Pattaya; but you have probably already guessed that 😂3 points

There was another bar opposite, or at least nearby, that was reckoned by Michael Notcutt in this estimable Thai Scene (my well-thumbed handbook back then) to be a Super A plus. In other words, however sordid Super A was, this neighbour could out-sleaze it. A visit to BKK back then was indeed A Walk on the Wild Side. owned by2 points -

After my previous trip was cancelled due to the pandemic, I’m finally able to be visit Colombia. This new thread will be a semi blog with observations and tips from this current trip to Medellin and Bogota.1 point -
I am happy to report that tawan is alive and kicking. The shows are back sans the whips. Guys are in boxers. Most patrons don't wear masks inside. Some customers smoke in the bar. The place is small though, but about 70% of the guys are back.1 point

Medellin flowers festival in August
Primeone385 reacted to macdaddi for a topic
Others noted that I forgot the link https://www.cuandopasa.com/index.php?v=v46953j and then I found this site in English https://www.carnifest.com/the-flowers-festival-in-medellin-feria-de-las-flores-2022/. The Parade of Silleteros (Desfile de Silleteros) takes place on Monday, 15 August 2022 and marks the end of the celebrations. Like the Samba parade in Rio, you can purchase tickets for comfortable box seating to watch the parade or you can watch for free along the street. I tried to find the exact location (it can move around) and did not see anything published. Traditionally the parade makes its way from the Cerro Nutibara to Estadio Giradot along the Autopista Sur. Officially the Fería de las Flores begins on Monday. August 8 this year but the city will be jumping starting Saturday, 6 August as people from the neighbouring regions make their way to Medellin.1 point -
I just had my thailand trip report shared with a pattaya boy from someone on here this week. Oz was kind enough to delete it for me, but i doubt i'll ever write a detailed trip report again. I've considered paying the boy to find out who it was, not sure if it's worth my time to find and expose them.1 point

Yes, Fresh Boys is the same of the bar. If I said I thought the show was funny would that get you all from thinking I"m getting old and can't remember the name of the bar. LOL1 point -
I have visited Funny Boys two times and it was great. Over 25 boys each time and some cuties if you like twinks. I visited Moonlight and it had 5 models and 5 gogos and they were OK but nothing special. I visited Jupiter and it was a bit dull. Hot Male was OK but not as many guys as Lucky and Dream Boys were OK but not many my type. I hope this helps! BTW: took a lad from Moonlight (I know as said nothing special but a waiter caught my eye).1 point

I would agree that the Thai high season starts on Nov 1. Back to the OP's question, I think that it is not certain how busy this year's high season will be at this point. IMO, it depends on how long it takes for international travel to return to 'pre-Covid normal' & how soon China gets out of its current Covid difficulties & allows the Chinese to start traveling again. The bad situation in Ukraine is another unknown. Every week brings positive news about international travel but I think there's still a long way to go.1 point

Babylon was welcoming to older guys and there were usually younger (that is under forties rather than twenty-year olds) who were interested in meeting them . Those Thais who weren't went elsewhere, though the fact that it was open early in the afternoon and had a pool was an attraction. It was also expensive for Thais. I recall a few years ago its pool was being renovated and it offered half-price admission. This resulted in many more younger guys going there. It became more than a venue for casual sex. Many older falangs would use the pool for the afternoon and eat in its two restaurants. I suspect that some never ventured into the cruising areas. It also had its own hotel. Its demise has led me to stop spending a couple of days in Bangkok on arrival in Thailand. It was that good.1 point

With great difficulty. Remember that some families had Isaan roots but moved to other parts of the country for work. I doubt if there are many "pure" (sorry about that word) Isaan guys, even in Isaan. I also quarrel with the suggestion that all Isaan guys are well-endowed. Some are. So are some from the far south are, too. Circumcised ones from Muslim backgrounds. My advice is not to pursue this idea. But it's up to you of course, and others may differ. Thai guys are among the most beautiful in the world. Whatever the size of their appendages!1 point

Adams Apple remains closed - it was the closest to a boy bar with boys in briefs and shows - Orion Bar and Ram Bar remain open in Soi 6 of the night bazaar - the former has a few freelancers at various times whilst Ram is better known for its cabaret show. There are several host bars in CM but mainly mixed venues - Route 181, Pose Club, Maya Club, Barocco. These venues don't really kick.off until 11pm. Usually 20+ lads on stage - and you pay around 250 thb per hour for them to sit and drink with you. Whiskey bottle with free mixers 1500 thb. These venues definitely not like Screwboys or HotMale in Bangkok but the lads can be fun and attentive.1 point

Chiang Mai Boy Bars
moistmango reacted to macaroni21 for a topic
I don't remember Classic House as a place for hunky masseurs, but then my last visit for maybe 5 - 6 years ago and things change. Overall, Chiang Mai's gay bar scene for visitors has been in decline for 25 years or more and I am hardly surprised that there are few attractions left. There may still exist gay bars for locals, but these are drinking and dancing places where friends go together for a night out... not the kind of place to see nude performances or take escorts out. Or speak much English. In short, my view is that Chiang Mai is worth going only if you're into cultural attractions. Not for its virtually non-existent gay scene. The other thing to beware of if you're visiting in summer is the mid-day temperature. It can get scorching hot in the day, yet without much relief in the evenings. Even when the rains come (starting in June perhaps), it doesn't get significantly cooler, it only gets more humid.1 point -

If you have never been to Pattaya it is a must. If only to see the gay scene there. Have you considered a condo instead of a hotel? There are many available in Pattaya for short term rent. Rates at the movement are very reasonable. In March I was paying 550 baht per night all in. If you are considering a long stay as you say, then Pattaya would fit the bill. Plenty to do during the day, beaches, Malls (yuck!) and other attractions. In the evening many bars, Massage places, restaurants etc., and plenty of boys available. Hopefully some of the gogo bars will be open again soon according to some posts on the net. And prices are much lower than Bangkok. Some of us spend months there from November through to March.1 point -
The insurance industry continues to exert a firm grip on the powers that be who--in their wisdom--have decreed that the Thailand Pass will live on. From the Thai Enquirer Thailand Pass still required for all those entering Thailand The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) was expected to decide on the Ministry of Public Health’s proposal to lift the Thailand Pass for Thai citizens at its meeting led by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha on Friday. However, no decision has been made on the issue, despite calls for its removal. “We still have to be cautious and continue to closely monitor the situation of Omicron and other new variants that could happen in the future,” Prayut said after the meeting. “We have to plan for them and adjust our measures accordingly and timely,” he said. Nearly 240,000 people have registered with Thailand Pass since entry regulations were relaxed at the beginning of May, the CCSA reported on Friday. “Tourists still have to register with the Thailand Pass system to make sure that they have been vaccinated and that they have bought the insurance,” said TAT governor, Yuthasak Supasorn.0 points
