All cables and powerlines have also been buried underground to create an unobstructed view of the vast green garden in the heart of Bangkok. Lumpini Park in Pathumwan district has been the green lung of the concrete metropolis since it opened in 1925. Paths that stretch for 2.5km around the park are popular with morning and evening joggers while ornamental lakes surrounded by lawns make perfect picnic spots. The park is open from 4.30am to 9pm and sees 15,000 to 20,000 visitors every day. Pre covid I've always enjoyed Mango Tree, going early (6 - 6:30pm) and avoiding the crowds I have never had any issues with quality or service. Likewise I don't mind G's on Soi 4 to mix it up a bit, I used to like Roadhouse but that is a bit too expensive but will still drop by at times for the lunch specials. I have also had some good meals at Happy Beer Garden over the road from the Raya hotel.

Worth a visit to the top floors (7th and 8th?) of the Helix section of Emquartier. Literally dozens of restaurants arranged round a helix climbing the two floors. I have friends in Cuba and stay in regular contact. Things are not great these days, the drop in tourism has had a significant impact on the economy. This time, I was provided only one meal. Food is pretty ok. Not long after i finished my breakfast and shower, the phone rang and i got the result - "Congratulations Mister, now you can go out". Day 3 We woke up by my alarm at 10:15AM. V asked me to set up the alarm so that we don't miss breakfast. When presented with a buffet, V eats for an entire family. Anyways, in addition, the level of facility in Babylon was nothing to be compared to the other saunas. I hope that a decent place that tries to enter that specific niche will pop up soon. Staff were welcoming and friendly and explained that it's naked month and towels are provided only for showering. I loved that, and especially the enforcement of that policy as they kept enforcing that rule inside the compound and not only at the locker rooms. Facilities are high standard and well maintained. Compound has several levels which can be quite tiring and it's the same in the other local saunas I've been too in the past (R3, Chakran, Mania). The common dish that is served that night is Asian Twink and Asian Twunk which is not my favorite but it is something I can work with and I have my share of fun. He asks me if I'll stay for the party which I was unaware of, but I already knew that when they say in the local saunas "party" they mean orgy. If it was, I'd be more inclined on going, but it was a chem-sex party. Which means less party, more drugs and sex – which is a combo that is not a turn on for me. Anyways, we go, it is in a beautiful luxury penthouse at a very high tower. I suspect that there is an informal contract between the owner and some of the hot attendees – they come and play at his party – he supplies the drugs. Some of the more dangerous drugs are on the menu that night, but V stays with E and G. I don't even drink alcohol there, as I don't feel that it is a safe environment. V and I play, he takes more drugs and by that also he is more awake and energetic. At 3:30 AM we start negotiation on leaving time. Perhaps but in few cases I'd give them some allowance for feelings. The same way we look at their physical attributes but also smile and personality , they are not different.
