Travel in the Time of Omicron – A Saga
daydreamer and 10 others reacted to CurtisD for a topic
Prologue During Covid I have been consistently too optimistic about the probability of international travel. I repeatedly book trips only to eventually cancel them. I carry on regardless and book the next trip, but my expectations have slowly diminished, to the point that I was not really expecting to make this trip to Thailand. It was only after the e-tickets arrived that I truly believed that this trip was a Go. I should have been elated, but after the initial euphoric rush I was strangely flat. I organized the mechanics of travel down to the last detail and took steps to eliminate anything within my power that could cause problems. I imposed a self-quarantine for the seven days prior to my PCR test, excusing myself from pre-Christmas events and Christmas dinner itself. I booked a limo service to the airport as Uber have become a little less reliable. But I did not get into the usual personal preparation or have a plan of what to do other than seeing Bangkok Guy. I continued to drink and eat a little too much and not exercise enough. My mood should have been up, but pre-Christmas socializing was leaving me flat. One evening, returning home after a fabulous dinner party, the flat feeling really struck me – what was going on? I know myself well enough that if I take the time to stop and reflect I find the patterns that point to the problem. When I am flat something is weighing on my subconscious, and the trick is to identify what it is so that I can deal with it. I realized I was very concerned. Very concerned that something would prevent the trip. Very concerned that after two years of Line-only contact the chemistry between Bangkok Guy and I will not be the same. Behind the concern is the fact that Bangkok Guy is deeply under my skin. Possibly too deeply. Many things have kept me bouncing along and sane during the disruption of the last two years and my connection with Bangkok Guy is one of them. Forced separation has intensified the importance of the connection. There is no point in letting an anticipated problem which may or may not eventuate weigh you down. You need to do what you can to ensure the outcome you want and then hope for the best, but be mentally prepared for the worst and have an attractive Plan B. So I took charge of my drinking, eating and exercising. I can stroll the beach confident that I look presentable in swim shorts. I went through the Koh Samui guide and found things to see and do. For the days in Bangkok I have a list of restaurants to try and possible overnight trips. The trip is now in shape to be an excellent holiday and a great first encounter with the World after the last two years. And if the chemistry with Bangkok Guy is still good, that will be the icing on the cake. But if I am honest with myself, the icing is of more interest than the cake.11 points -
A Very Bumpy Start This trip was booked back in June based solely on vague optimism that ‘things will improve’. The January timing was a matter of habit. When test-and-go was announced I lacked Vinapu’s prescience and instead of going immediately kept to the original schedule. Traveling in the Time of Covid it should come as no surprise that this trip has been the most difficult trip to keep on the rails that I have ever experienced. The airline canceled all flights to Thailand and I had to re-book. I went through the hoops of completing all the ThaiPass paperwork. To be sure of passing the first of four PCR tests I withdrew from Christmas celebrations. Double-guessing the Thai Government’s announcement that it was considering suspending Test-and-Go, I re-booked all the accommodation and internal flights, at some cost. The day I am due to leave I lie in bed, dawn light coming around the edges of the curtains, and Bangkok Guy pings me on Line. He has developed the habit of pinging me in the morning if he wants to talk as he knows I am up early, but this is a little early. “There is a Big Problem”. On the bright side, his English is coming along. He used the indefinite article. When he answers my call he looks serious and without talking faces his phone toward his wrist. There is an intravenous drip attachment. Back to his face and, while he is looking good, I see he is in bed and the pillow has a blue hospital paper cover. He has Covid. It seems to be a moderate case. He looks good, a cough but no problems breathing, and once we talk his smile is as bright as ever. His personality is also unaffected. His main concern is not his health but the cost of cancelations as he will not be out of quarantine in time to join me on Koh Samui. A leading indicator that I have crossed the line from under-the-weather to truly ill is the loss of my vanity. For Bangkok Guy it would be the loss of frugality. With his frugality intact he is on the right side of the health line. However, the third time I tell him he is looking good – a mechanical reassurance to myself as much as to him – he corrects me. “Outside look good, inside not good”. He is sick enough to be feeling it. He is happy that I am still coming and that we will eventually meet in Bangkok. He will get out of the ten-day quarantine the day before I arrive in Bangkok from Koh Samui and I offer to extend our hotel booking so he can go there, be comfortable and have room service. He is not sure. In case Omicron gathered speed, in Bangkok I re-booked into a hotel with a lot of outdoor space by the river which, if necessary, we can use as a resort and use the river to get around rather than the Sky Train or Metro. I have four PCR tests to pass during the trip and failing any of the three in Thailand will land me in hospital for ten days, which I have no intention of letting happen, so crowded spaces are verboten. The hotel is very high end (I got an attractive deal) and I suspect Bangkok Guy is not comfortable with the idea of being there alone. I will play this by ear and possibly leave Koh Samui early (and expensively as it is too late to alter the reservation).5 points

20220115_215309.mp4 Hello fellas, Hope you all are well. We just got back yesterday and had an AMAZING time as usual. However, this was our first time in the DR where we had been in a dangerous/hostile situation. So my hubby and I were walking.back to our rental minding our business. A guy in the street spoke and we spoke back. He asked were we americans.. we said yes and kept walking. He says, I'm a valet Parker but I don't make a lot of money. I told him, its too bad. You should be a stripper because you are very sexy and have a nice body. He followed us and continued to talk. He then says, I will strip for you guys for beer. You guys know me. I'm a whore and said ok. We will buy u beer if you come in and strip. In hindsight that was a very stupid move on my part because the guy could have had a weapon on him. He comes in, takes off his clothes and does this stupid ass half dance. He had no rhythm and his dick wasn't something I would ever pay to see. After he does this 3 minute dance, he puts on his clothes and says GIVE ME $40 in a very loud aggressive voice. My husband and I both tell NO YOU SAID BEER. He continues to YELL GIVE ME $40. It got to the point where I started to raise my voice and told him In Spanish that i was calling my friend who is a Dominican cop. My husband opens the door, throws the guys baseball cap out the door and shoves him out the door. He tried to get back in and thats when my husband and I really got in his face yelling and telling him to GET TF out of here. He saw that we meant business and walked away talking crap. Things had gotten pretty tense in that little bit of time. The ppl there are so beautiful but you still have a few who will prey on others. Especially foreigners. Aside from that incident we had another truly amazing time. Again, I would like to post the sex videos on this site, but they are toooo damn long. They are on my Twitter page though. Can you believe I'm up to 9,000 followers on my Twitter page? It's ununreal!! 9,000 follow me and think that my videos are hot and ask me to record and post more. I'm receiving DM from ppl all over the world about my encounters and experiences. Some even wanting me to ship them soiled underwear of the guys in my videos. I can't remember which member from this group told me to start a Twitter and onlyfans page, but whoever you are, THANK YOU!!! They are both very successful. I wouldn't have started those pages in a million years had YOU not encouraged me to do so. To the creators of this page. I think one of you is @TotallyOz, continue to use this page as a guide for others to learn and grow Travel savvy. Your site has been so informative for me in my travels. You've open the wonders of travel to so many ppl with this site, especially me. I want to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU VERY MUCH. to the great members I've communicated with in private chats, THANK YOU ALSO. I'm going to attach the video of the guy's strip tease. All other sex videos are on Twitter as they take too long to post here. It has truly been a blessing to be apart of such a wonderful site. Be well, guys!! HAPPY NEW YEAR. 20220115_215309.mp42 points -
So glad Đoković got what was coming to him
TMax and one other reacted to RockHardNYC for a topic
There's nothing like a killer pandemic to bring out the CRAZY in most everyone. And I agree, Đoković got what he deserved. IMO, any famous person who goes public with his/her anti-vax bullshit (especially their lies) deserves to die from the most deadly form of Covid (thankfully, some are dying). I can't tolerate famous, wealthy people who choose to show their ignorance of science or science denial. If for some life-threatening reason your body can't tolerate a vaccine, then excuse yourself from society and work, and sit the pandemic out. It's the right thing to do. What is going on in our own Supreme Court is despicable. Neal Gorsuch deserves to have his balls kicked with steel-toed shoes for his anti-mask behavior aimed at Justice Sonya Sotomayor. Supreme Court veteran, Nina Totenberg, writes about it HERE. This revealing article should be read by everyone. When I saw the recent rant by asshole Rand Paul against Dr. Fauci (one of many), and Paul had the nerve to say, "There have been more Covid deaths under Joe Biden than Donald Trump," implying that Trump was the "leader" for less covid deaths, I wanted to VOMIT. Shameless mother-fuckers. Trumpers are to blame for EVERY Covid death because of their behavior. They blew their reputation with their disastrous handling of this disease. Had Covid been handled properly from the beginning, the United States could have led the world on eradication and/or control of this virus. Thankfully, Fauci pointed out that Rand (and others) are raising lots of money with their dangerous Covid rhetoric, and it this evil money that is keeping Covid (and every future mutation) alive for many years to come. In the United States, we can't get rid of Covid because of Republican behavior. And worst of all, it is this evil money and rhetoric that is killing many of their voters, since most of the dying are the unvaccinated living in red states. This is a MORAL DISGRACE that America will have to live with for a long time. (Sorry to bring politics into this thread, but sadly, Covid is political now. You can't put that nasty cat back in the bag.)2 points -
Age yourself with a Video Game
splinter1949 and one other reacted to Gaybutton for a topic
I think my first video game was the first video game - Pong. I can clearly remember, before there were home versions, long lines of people waiting their turn to play it. We thought it was the most phenomenal thing ever. At the time, I suppose it was. My first computer was the Atari. When games first started coming out, they had to be loaded with a tape recorder. It could take as much as an hour waiting for the game to load. Then, of course, when you turned off the computer, now the game was gone. I also remember a friend who was really into computer technology. In those days he was among the first to use a floppy disk. I remember he was on top of the world when he had his first 20 meg machine. Today your smartphone has far more computer power than they had when Neil Armstrong went to the moon. Now I am hoping the next innovation in computer technology won't be smaller, more powerful chips or greater speed. I'm hoping for computers that simply work - all the time.2 points -
The fact that it is even being considered is progress in itself.2 points

for now some Moonlight models can be seen daily at HotMale, usually 3-5 a night. For MahaNakhon try to pick up day with good visibility and go early, they open at 10am. If you not senior remember weekdays are cheaper then weekends ( 530 as opposite to 880 ). Take your boy with you but only if he expresses desire to go there, otherwise they may be scared / bored / disgusted at you spending that much money on the ticket.2 points

Danger in Dominican Republic
Docbr01 reacted to BlkSuperman for a topic
Yeah, it was unsettling. I'm glad he didn't have a weapon or anything and I'm thankful that my husband and I had each other. Him not having a weapon gave us an advantage, I believe because there was no way he was going to kick both our asses. My husband is a very muscular guy and he just shoved his ass out the door. I think after my hubby pushed him, he felt the strength of his shove and knew it would be a bad idea to fuck with him. This is why we usually go through manny to get our guys. Mannys guys know not to mess with his clients. In fact, manny was the first person I called when the sage began. But my husband stepped in like a super hero. We also visited marlowes bar. The owner is very nice. He gave us a tour. He has a BOOM BOOM room in the back. We have decided to go on Saturdays-monday now because the colonial zone is soooooo very festive Sunday evenings. For some reason I can't share the link to my Twitter page but if you have Twitter you can look up my account from the picture attached. Again to the creators of this site, THANK YOU so much. You are bringing people together and making a positive impact on individuals who probably wouldn't travel to some of these places. Be well guys. Also, to the person who encouraged me to start a Twitter and onlyfans account. I was so not interested when you mentioned it to me, but now I am addicted to BOTH sites. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!1 point -
This will become clear from later posts.1 point

Can u share how u can get 350 baht for red planet asakusa? I did a couple of dates in february 2022 and i can only get around 1000 baht, which is still cheap but not sure if this rate is available when japan actually open up.1 point

Not at all. Your summations are correct. If you are into gay for pay, then sticking with boys from the boy bars and boy websites in Japan does mean you pay extra for extra time. And your vacation will be more expensive than in Bangkok. But I assume since you are not paying for drinks and off fees, you are focussing on money boys from the apps. This always surprises me. I cannot speak for Pattaya but in Bangkok there are lots of boys in the apps looking for hookups who do not expect cash - and will sometimes refuse even transport money. The last time I was in Tokyo there were certainly fewer boys interested in foreigners. On the other hand there were far fewer money boys. Hotel room pricing in Japan is to a large extent dependent on room size and partly location. But you do not have to pay a fortune and the rooms will be spotlessly clean. There are plenty of guest houses and small hotels offering rooms around $40 or thereabouts. Yes, many will be small. But not all. For example, here is the room with bathroom at The Red Planet close to the famous Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. This will cost you all of 350 baht on agoda for a night in February. Sadly the summer heat really is worse than April in Bangkok - largely because the humidity is high. When I worked there I needed a dehumidifier in the summer and a humidifier in the winter!1 point

since English is not my first language it was new word for me and I rushed to my Webster to check if I should be offended right away or only after following Monday but no, now I understand. I'm glad that some hearts beat faster reading my 'prose" as I was the same for almost 2 years, waiting for first hand reports about boys, bars and massages not closures , covids, quarantines and tests i.e subjects we don't like to hear about but can't escape them either in those times.1 point

I, for one, have definitely taken ideas from your many past reports. I'm still eager to visit Moonlight some day when it reopens which I only discovered from your reports. I now have a couple of other ideas to add to the list for the next trip. A visit to Sabaidee and trip up the MahaNakhon. Thank you.1 point

Today, I went to Thailand for about 30 minutes ... at the World Expo in Dubai. Maybe I am not unbiased, but they have one of the best pavilions. I suppose this doesn't count??? Anyway, thank you very much vinapu for your reports.1 point

As things stand, he is banned from returning to Australia for 3 years - although I'm reasonably certain that will be relaxed. But unless he gets vaccinated, he's out of the French Open and the US Open plus he'll need to quarantine before Wimbledon. I wonder if he realises that a lot of people hope he never gets vaccinated!1 point
