Final notes. Travelling in covid time is nerve wrecking due to multitude of regulations , not coordinated from country to country and from airline to airline but at end of day it proved doable. I’m glad I stick to my plan of jumping on earliest occasion as soon as quarantine will be cancelled. This did not happen but “Test and Go ‘ option seemed reasonable so when I learned it’s available it was no brainer to gather paperwork and apply. My Thai Pass came in exactly 7 days, 2 weeks later I was on my way. Mandatory tests and insurance raised prices but on another hand very good deals on accommodation mitigated that expense. I doubt in future I will be able to sleep in hotels and rooms I was utilizing this trip. Me and Crowne Plaza ? even few forum friends were surprised. I liked it even if really I don’t need fancy accommodations but if price is right, why not ?. Doom and gloom of some on forums proved exaggeration. Yes, bars were closed as well as many massager places but what was opened was good enough to keep me occupied and spending whenever I wanted. Line and apps helped. It was actually first time ever I used apps. Can’t say it was very successful but with more practice and more experience navigation of them may be more fruitful. One thing is sure , few guys I met had their profiles on apps and I must say almost universally I wouldn’t take them if I only saw them there. N, Ah-Poo, V, Soviet they all looked better in flesh. No problems with visitors I the room but dearth of foreign visitors was visible plainly and everywhere. Phor Liang Meun and Crowne Plaza were only hotels where there was some kind of crowd but even there ‘crowd’ was exaggeration. Thais now have country to themselves for good and bad . Unfortunately mostly bad. Closed and quiet Walking Street , Boyztown or Patpong are shocking views indeed. Even Silom , Suriwong and Sukhumvit are far from themselves in more normal times so economic devastation must be enormous. Foodland Patpong in lunch time was sometimes plain empty , so were malls and area around Grand Palace. Not even once I saw crowded BTS train. Those were things which I should enjoy but in fact made me sad as I was thinking about all those people who lost their earnings or had them greatly reduced. But boys are holding up . I never really heard complains , from time to time they ritually mentioned lack of customers but somehow managed to find other jobs, never before I heard from so many guys that they work also somewhere else. I did not notice notable reduction on tip expectations, neither bars reduced their prices with notable exception of Jupiter but even them raised prices for Christmas and New Year period. What was easier was to find guys willing to do long time, that may be positive covid effect but also possibly just my good luck or coincidence. So I have booked a flight tomorrow from Boston to Phuket, actually three flights, the second of which, NY to Singapore, is said to be the longest flight scheduled in the world, at 18 hours and 40 minutes. Economy Premium so it might be bearable as long as the pilots don’t nod off somewhere over the Arctic. The process turned out to be complicated and anxiety producing. For some reason both the hotel and the testing company would only take something called OTP which I think means One Time Password. They wanted me to have a local phone number to send passwords to, which I didn't have. Without that local contact, neither my American nor Canadian credit cards worked for payment. Aaargh! But Dear Husband is still in Bangkok, and he was able to go into the woods and shake fairy dust on the sleeping leprechaun, or whatever one does, and miraculously produce for me proof of my hotel stay and my COVID test schedule, both of which I need to board the plane. I don’t know how I would have navigated all this without a Thai contact within Thailand. But then, there’s a reason he is Dear Husband. So I leave on Monday and arrive on Wednesday. Day 24 Trip is about to finish and nothing reminded me about that sad fact more than morning trip to a Pulse clinic on Silom to do mandatory pre-departure PCR test. Airline requires it and so does my country . 3100 baht instead of going to long time off went to the clinic but I still was happy that I did not need to look for a place to do it, clinic is right there in Silom and advertises test option on the front door . Quite upscale place and very efficient, I was surprised how busy it was but it’s well known place to go for men’s sex health problems, Covid test is just a side business. I found price good value since the same pre-departure test at home cost me about 4600 baht. I was told result is guaranteed before midnight as long as test is done before 4 pm , result will come by e-mail but if I want paper copy of it I can pick it up before 6 tomorrow. All that is joy of travelling in covid time I guess. Rest of morning I spent wandering around Silom markets in soi 8 and soi 5 on opposite side , took some market pictures for folks at home and made slow trek to soi Sri Bumphen , opposite Malaysia hotel where I was supposed to have a lunch with Chritian PFC. On my way I checked Prince in soi Suan Plu, closed although without any signs so hopefully will go back to life after restrictions will be removed. Freshened, shaved , freshly dressed I went to world famous to eat some proper supper and straight from there to Hot Male to find what happened to T2 but first and foremost to fulfill a mission to off X the Moonlight model 18past19 was so impressed with. M took day off today and was nowhere to be seen but as I said I was on the mission supported by my friend. Day 25, the last I can hear collective sigh of relief from readership , ‘ finally he is finishing this babbling” And I wouldn’t be surprised. I always say that there are three subjects : sickness , children and travel everybody likes to talk about their own but doesn’t want to listen about that of other’s. If I managed to bore you to death I’m not apologetic, you should skip it in the first place. On another hand if somebody can take some ideas how to spend good holidays from my stories I’d be very happy. Smiling guy and me had a breakfast in the world famous Foodland Patpong then we parted ways , both still smiling. My next task was dream of mine for long time – to take boat and survey Chao Praya downstream , not in usual opposite direction up the river. So off I went to Saphan Taksin pier where boats can be hired. As expected I had a bit of hard time to explain what I want, that I’m not interested in any scenic canals, I just want the river. It cost 1200 for 1.50 hr. , not a problem , still cheaper than short time and soon we took off. We toll all the way to Bhumibol bridge and back . As expected banks had more industrial character, quite a few ships moored here and there. Still river was more quiet than I’d expect for normal working day . some more pics from that lesser known side of river will be posted immediately below At 2.30 pm my last trip to this vacation headquarters – Sabaidee spa to see T. Seven meetings in one trip , two of them crowned with a party for boys working there says something. . Lots of good time , good memories and for T, good tips. Last walk to soi 3 , I picked up my luggage, took BTS to Phaya Thai, airport train to Swampy , no fuss checking in, but test result was asked for and just before midnight we took off ending my 21st trip to Thailand, my longest so far and successful only on my 3rd attempt. Day 23 Busy morning, breakfast a bit earlier as today I’m moving to my last stop this trip, Baan Silom soi 3 and we planned members trip to Ayuthaya. 18past19 resigned as he will be going there again in few days but newscene announced he will be taking with him his local friend so I asked T2 if he wants to join us and he agreed. 18past19 promised to accompany me to Hot Male in the evening time permitting, went his way, me and T2 returned to the room, I finished packing, travelling lightly paid off as it did not take long. On street level I suggested T2 will go directly to Hualampong by motorsai but he suggested he’ll go by MRT. I hired motorsai to deliver me and luggage to Baan Silom , over there asked him to wait , just dropped luggage at reception – they had in their computer all history of me staying there including October bookings I cancelled, told them I will return in the evening and the same motorsai took me to Hualampong. 100 baht whole round trip. Newscene and his friend were already waiting with gloomy news , our train which was about to depart in 20 minutes did not have free seats as it was long distance train somewhere far so we opted for next one in about 1 hr. We bought tickets at 20 baht a piece, guys went to park themselves at coffee shop upstairs and I started looking for T2. Sightseeing is quite well organized in Ayuthaya, at station there are songtaews , drivers have pictures and trip plans at the ready. There are 2 , 3 , 4 hours plans and perhaps even longer, we opted for 3 hrs one at 900 baht per vehicle. ( When I was first time there , back in 2002 I paid 200 so Ayuthaya inflation is much higher than boy bars inflation ). This was my third time there but first for other gentlemen , we visited 5 or 6 different ruins with mandatory stop at one where iconic statue head embraced by the tree roots is. Few sites I recalled from previous trips , at least two were new ( or forgotten) for me , weather was co-operating so we had good time only T2 being loser by skipping that. Happy but hungry we arrived at train station with not enough time to dine properly but enough to go to 7/11 and grab some sandwiches. Train was late about 20 minutes but waiting was quite pleasant as sun was setting and air was cooling off. No problem with seat this time although by no means it was empty. I’m not sure what you mean. The Thai Pass is free. This service is something different and costs money. The site I’m recommending is for people who are having problems such as Queries or a flight in the next few days. They will somehow expedite the issue of your Thai Pass. They are NOT the same people who issue the Pass. It worked for me as I had only a few days left before I was due to fly and no end of phone calls or emails to the people who issue the pass helped. Day 22 V has a day time job so we went for breakfast earlier only to find smiling 18past19 coming there at the same time so we enjoyed food together. I agree with much of what you said above but I have to take issue with assumption that "desperation" is necessarily the primary factor that drives them to taking up sex work. I recently had a similar experience and decided to empty out a storage bin I had been renting for nearly eight years. Not surprisingly, the most difficult things to part with were old books. A handful went went to friends but the rest went to the local library book sale. Like a-447, much went to the Salvation Army and a consignment shop. The whole thing was liberating while saving me the monthly bin rental cost going forward. There comes a time when we realize there's nothing to be gained by gathering possessions. My surviving family members either have good jobs or have retired quite comfortably. In any case, I see little of them. So I, too, find myslef focusing on who have actually made my life more meaningful. Who are those I wanted so much to be with during the Covid crisis. Who are those who have been there for me--and I for them.

Day 18 Today we went for breakfast to French place in the corner. Then N went to his gym and I took motorsai to Pratamnak Hill to see Big Buddha and admiral. Being gay with no ties means many of us have superfluous money, as we've not had the cost of a family to drain our funds. I'd hate to think what it costs to educate a couple of kids through to university! And in my case the partners I've had over my lifetime have all been self-sufficient and have been able to pay their own way. So it may sound strange but I actually enjoy having a couple of very special friends in Thailand who I can spend money on, spoil a bit and look after. I've now entered my 70s and although I have no intention of dropping off the perch soon, I'm trying to downsize and get rid of much of the "stuff" I've accumulated over the years. As a shopping tragic, I've ended up with way too much of everything. (The Salvation Army is doing very well out of me!) So although I'm doing my best to spend, like many at my age I've got everything I need. Money is great when you're young because we have so many "wants " but at my age, money and assets become rather meaningless. I'm not complaining - It's a wonderful situation in which to be - but it's good to sit back and think how I am able to share what I have. I just need to work out HOW to share it. I'll leave that to the experts.

I know you were asking more there as to should it be a large or small amount etc however my solicitor offered me a great piece of advice when he and I were discussing that same topic. I was fumbling about over "how much money to leave" someone / everyone and found I couldn't come to an agreed number very easily. His advice was to stop thinking about how much MONEY I would be leaving them but to think instead of how much of a percentage of my final "pot" from me assets I would like to leave them. That he said usually made it feel less of a personal slant if it ended up (perhaps unintentionally) more or less that someone else may have received ( thinking family members there perhaps) but was also a big plus point ( for HIM and me) in that I wouldn't need to keep reviewing my will as my assets changed over my lifetime as my beneficiaries would always be getting the same 5% / 10% or whatever of just WHATEVER the final pot was. Plus he pointed out that in doing so it kept things nice and easy for me but ALSO for HIM to administer my estate and that would then reduce his workload and so his fees too - we all know of course that last part will NEVER happen after I'm gone and his calculating his final invoice !). I'm leaning towards doing my damnedest to spend the lot before I go without much being left anyway but of course as others have said it's hard without knowing when we're going to pop our clogs to find that happy balance. At least one of the benefits of being gay ( usually) is a lot of us don't have to worry about leaving the bulk of our estate on to wives and children. I actually had to change my financial advisor recently as my old (school) advisor guy just couldn't get his head around my requirement NOT to have to keep my estate intact for passing on to children etc and every pension plan he came up with ended up in his proposing "I" took less now as that would keep my pot well funded after my death". I had to explain to him that NO, I intend and indeed was instructing him to do the exact opposite but it seems his years of "training in safe investing" just couldn't get him into my "spend the lot and be damned mode" - hence my need to change advisors - much to my beneficiaries disgust once I'm gone perhaps ! ( and in some cases I certainly HOPE so anyway ! 🙂 )

Day 17 In the morning well deserved breakfast at hotel, German style cold cuts plate for 190. Surprisingly N opted for the same. I told him his presence next night is required, thank you very much but stay tuned on the Line as it may be well past midnight when I return to the hotel . I did not plan anything but since BBB yesterday looked promising I was preparing ground just in case I will stay in Pattaya longer tonight. When he went to his gym I fired up Agoda and for the same reason I booked cheap 500 baht room in Nature Beach Hotel in soi 11. As I mentioned earlier , after 2 weeks I kind of miss food I normally digest so went to supermarket near Jomtien airport bus station and stocked on rye bread and cottage cheese. At 2 pm Art arrived as agreed yesterday for a massage and he is so skilled even if only self taught that he managed to put me to sleep mid-day !!! Than I realized that he was my only encounter this trip with guy engaged in previous trips. Yes , Soviet was repeat too but I don’t count him as previous encounter was completely forgotten by both of us and I realized only after we met that it’s not our first time. After he left, previously asked to repeat the feast tomorrow at the same time I went to Jurgens in View Talay 1 for my fil of schnitzel and potatos. Not as good as at Alt Heidelberg or Berliner Café but still closely resembling on original. 360 with beer. Well filled up I went to Walking Street and marched whole length from Bali Hai pier . not that was much to see as almost all bars were closed but here and there were traces of life returning Sad truth is that still on once such busy boisterous street only one business survived intact and that is 7/11. Not quite family destination already and likely it never happen but for a moment that street is dead indeed as adult entertainment destination. In Panorama I met with aussie_ again and we talked waiting for the show. In meantime from time to time I indulged in my newest hobby i.e. combing through Grindr and I noticed that one of guys there may be one sitting in front of BBB. Since he looked attractive I fired him message on Grindr ‘are you guy in black t-shirt with big X on the back ? ‘. That got him interested , he started looking around so I waved at him. We agreed to solve once and for all climate crisis after the show. In spirit of collaboration bars in Boyzown now are combining efforts to put that outside show together and first number with few very muscular guys was music to my ears. Around 10 pm aussie_ left Panorama and shortly after I took my newest friend to that room , smartly booked in the ,morning. Very basic but with all expected conveniences, full washroom , working safety box and A/C, for 500 one can’t expect more than that even in those trying times. Great body and above standard performance by my newest friend would made it memorable evening but unfortunately he made it pretty clear that he is interested in finishing business as soon as possible not knowing that in my eyes it’s cardinal sin. As soon as it was hinted I kind of fast lost interest mindful that well tried N is waiting for me anyways, chalked off agreed 1500 tip as a loss , Ok, not quite due to attributes mentioned above but money not well spent . I even generously offered to give him a lift to Wat Chai in taxi I hailed on the Beach Rd but I was grinding my teeth quietly. As Christian PFC says, no repeat. Lined N to come to hotel as I’ on my way and at 12.30 am we started another steamy and stormy sleepover. THAT was well spent money no doubt and subsequent night was secured before we even hit the sheets. Despite slight hick up with Grindr guy , it was great busy day with three encounters even if that day 17 ended with pretty sleepless night.

Day 16 Lonely night resulted in early waking up and I was one of first people to report for breakfast at hotel restaurant this morning. I swear elderly lady sitting across at the same place she did yesterday had question mark in her eyes “where’s your boy ?” but since she did not ask, I did not answer. I had some chores his morning to do and then walked about market in Silom soi 5 , then packed and went to Swampy for my 2nd trip to Pattaya. Good timing as bus was leaving in 20 minutes. This time I decided to stay in more spartan place than last few hotels , at Zing in Jomtien Complex but compromise was more on room size not comfort since Zing is very comfortable and at this time quite quiet. On reception I was asked for proof of vaccination and it was only time in 25 day I was actually asked to show it other than at airport on arrival. Since news were building up that Boyztown is returning to life after I settled I went to Pattaya bit surprised as my baht bus was full like in good old days, even both standing places were occupied. What I saw was not disappointing, Panorama opened , and in the soi red carpet spread. What a contrast 1 week made ! Week ago is was just dark , empty and quiet. Since Z909 and me were supposed to dine at Terminal 21 I took quite a walk there, very pleasant as weather was extremely nice this afternoon. Met Z909 in the food court and we exchanged news about last week over dinner and at dark we took songtaew to Boyztown to see resurrection. Actually it happened 2 days ago but for me it was first chance. We parked at Panorama to have good view for the show which was supposed to happen in the soi, Now I know what red carpet was for . Nice surprise , mamasan Aek , one with hat, recognized me after all those years and shocked me that he remembered I used to take Art for massage. Assured me that art should show at any time and indeed soon enough he walked , noticed me and made massage sign with his hands . Obviously I was not anonymous visitor any more. Both gentlemen earned red note each and since I had other plans for tonight I exchanged phone numbers with Art and invited him for massage during day in my room tomorrow. I did not wait for the show as I was supposed to meet another member, aussie_ in @home bar in Jomtien Complex so I rushed there , parked myself in that bar , asked nice mamas an if he expect Z to return ( he had no idea ) and soon aussie_ showed up for a news exchange. It was a while since we talked last time so we had a lot to catch on, he also pointed that on the ground floor of View Talay 1 is German restaurant Jurgens serving western fare which was precious information as I started develop fatigue with rice and Thai dishes, missing schnitzel and rye bread. Much later we parted our ways , agreeing to meet tomorrow in Boyztown . I wanted to get N before his shop will close and shortly I surprised him by showing up , as I suspected week ago he did not believe I will return. 300 off fee and in few seconds we were marching to 7/11 to get some supplies in preparation for reunion which turned up to be quite stormy. No wonder , 1 week is a looooong time and we felt reunion needs to be celebrated in style . So day 16 was ending with well deserved sweat and short breath.

Day 15 7 a.m. in the morning next day was one of most memorable hour in my entire life. I opened eyes, sober already but not quite present yet, turned and I saw something beautiful – naked muscular semi-god sleeping on his stomach right beside me, perky , round butt up. Stuff dreams are made of, right. Sure , fast I recalled what is going on but pleasure of that surprise will live on with me for long time. Always gentleman I quietly went to the bathroom trying not to disturb his well deserved sleep but soon he knocked door and joined me in the shower. We had a bit to catch on and we did so his tip had some merit And it was very pleasant morning, then breakfast and he left as he was supposed to report to work. As soon as he left , moment of enlightenment dawned on me. Soviet , boy few years ago I was sitting with at Dreamboys Pattaya and next day found him as masseur at Royal House there. He was great guy to extend I even recommended him to one of our members. Yesterday he mentioned Dreamboys but somehow I did not connect dots. It seems world is small, what a reunion ! Another lazy, luxury room oiled day. At 3.30 p.m. I was expecting T who showed on the dot, messaged me from the parking and we went to MahaNakhon as I promised yesterday to take him there. It short walk from hotel. Visibility was great again, he was bit reluctant to step on the glass but finally he braved in. as most boys I took there he was more interested in taking pictures than admiring spectacular after all, view. Of course I showed him famous 74 floor washroom with the view and there was where he smiled. After that we had a meal in one of restaurants by Chong Nonsi station, task he seemed more interested in than just completed visit in the skies and than I asked if he wants to see my stamp collection and instant approval indicated that it was move he expected as he gave me even time frame. So off we went to have a good time , he even tried my glasses. It was dark when he left. Warmed up I went to Jupiter, had a drink there and after hour I left. Few customers , strange format with guys in the shadows after half hourly parade, I think I’m really biased against that bar and never feel it’s my place even if boys there are all prime beef, boyfriend , husband and son-in-law material. Perhaps I’m not and it’s why am not so enthusiastic. Readers please ignore my grumbling , it’s great bar with great staff , it’s just me who doesn’t feel at home there like in other bars like HotMale , my next destination. I caught with the show , today three Monlight models only present –Tum, Nicky and Smart with notable absence of Babe and Nut. There was big c*-**k show with 4 participants, things are getting back to normal. Somehow still I went home empty handed , walked around Silom and Patpong and headed home where even if sober I collapsed to empty bed right away. I think subconsciously I realized that today is end of my second week and normally it would be night when I’m heading to the airport to return home. So day 15, so memorably started, was over.

Day 13 S was not rushing in the morning , patiently accompanied me to a breakfast and finally last embraces, kiss , pat on the bum and he was gone , phone and other treasures secured in his bag. Nothing emotional and I liked it like that, we both did our part and parted our ways happy. Question how to get to the airport was solved surprisingly easy, as soon as I stepped outside hotel’s gate songtaew stopped delivering some guest and his daughter, asked 50 baht to the airport and soon I was there, well before intended time but day was pleasant so I could wait basking in the sun. S sent me line saying that I forgot to tip him for last night, yeah, right , nice try answered I, remember our agreement from previous morning and answer of sticker with blinking eye came right away so we knew it was just a joke. Flight to BKK was uneventful and visibility was good, we circled city and landed from sea side , attached below is picture of Chao Praya joining the sea taken from approach. My hotel this time was Furama Sathorn close to Chong Nonsi BTS, bit hidden in the side soi and again I abused covid situation of depressed prices by splurging on Executive Suite. 1300 baht with breakfast for 2 , perhaps 1/3 of normal price for such a room. Separate living room with kitchenette , bedroom , balcony and full washroom with shower and tube accessible from both living room and bedroom, in short almost like an appartment. Bell boy face looked somewhat familiar and he also looked at me with some interest, later on after intensive brain work I realized that I saw him working at Moonlight few years ago, fact he confirmed when I discretely asked. Impressive part is we never met but still both managed to remember our faces. After I settled I took motorsai to soi Pluk Chit but no, not to see T at Sabaidee but to meet ChristianPFC after long 2 years absence. We had a lot to catch on so I had some soup in one of stalls and we moved to my room to continue. After catching with what’s new and old and admiring new unusual denominated 30 000 riel commemorative hybrid ( paper with transparent plastic window ) note he brought for me from Cambodia we went to survey massage places at Silom Plaza . Few acceptable guys at Best Massage at ground floor , we also went up to Arena but at that time , past 8 p.m. it was already closed. Then to Hot Male just recently opened. One of guys on the scene was Ah-poo, guy I spot on apps and was exchanging messages last week on Line , one who used ‘boy services” description instead of more crude money boy. We couldn’t align our timing then but now was a chance. I liked his picture and even more original on the scene so I called him over, showed on my smartphone our conversations which he easily recalled, 500 off fee and soon we were marching to the hotel where nobody blinked an eye seeing us. Great Cambodian night crowning day 13.

Day 11 We had breakfast together, then I packed my meagre possessions and taking advantage of my newest friend’s motorsai we went to my new digs – impressively named and even more impressively looking Phor Liang Meun Terracotta Arts Hotel in small alley 1 block from Chiang Mai gate. In normal times I likely would be to stingy to rent room there but covid times are depressing hotel prices exponentially so even such beauty and luxury become affordable at 1200 , breakfast included. Since after last night there was no doubt that S will be my companion for next 2 I checked him in and he got his own door card as there was no way I let him to sleep at home even if he is married with a child. Specially with such modest tip expectations, right? palatial Phor Liang Meun terracotta Arts Hotel, lobby and a room When we settled in he suggested that we visit electronic shop as he wanted to check some new phone model so we went , remember WE have a vehicle. Phone in question had price tag of 13000 but now was on promotion for 12000. I was even asked if I like it, how thoughtful. But no, at no time suggestion was made I should chip in because as Ecclesiast says it is time for everything , for laughter and cry , for sowing and harvest and so on. Then we parted ways string in knowledge that I will come to Classic for massage with somebody else but take him home afterwards. I continued with my tourist program, visiting temple after temple and when I got too spiritual I decided to bring myself to the level by going to Sanctuary Spa, not far from my hotel, easy to find as it’s facing moat close to SuanPrung gate. Entry is bit forested with ample greenery. It was only one guy on duty, others could be called in but no need since guy was handsome, tall , muscular and bulgy. I always say all we need is 1 bar and 1 guy in it so decided to try my wisdom. Fee was 1000 baht for 1.5 hr session, min tip the same and off we went. Both massage and afters were outstanding , truly were so tip was increased to 1500 and we parted ways both smiling. If I was not engaged with S , there was another candidate. But I like S. and after all that sightseeing I kind of miss him so slowly but surely I walked again to Classic where S din not even bother to present himself as it was known that today is somebody else’s turn. Mamasan reminded me that 5 massages are getting 6th free and since tomorrow is my last day he suggests 4 hands. Today it was B, the body builder. That was pleasure to extend that I asked him to come to my hotel during day tomorrow handing him over hotel’s business card and my Line. S was waiting in the wings but when we were done he confidently emerged and soon after motorsaied me to a dinner. During which suggestion , mind you, just suggestion was made we can go to the mall to do some shopping. Not that I need to buy anything but obviously he did so I just tagged along. We had a good luck as some Adidas shoes were on sale and so were jeans but of course nothing stopped US from buying 2 pairs of shoes , jeans shorts and jacked . WE bought , I paid but I kind of had fun witnessing how I’m manipulated into opening my heart and wallet . Even now recalling it I smile. Truth is all those good were good value for quite a modest price and I thought in view of night past and future, worth the expense. Now we know what low LT tip means, LOL. There was pressing need for a belt for another 1200 but despite shining eyes, my short ‘no’ did the trick and pressure eased down. In the room all goodies were arrested and I told him he will get them on day of my departure as I don’t want him to poke them into eyes of his friends in Classic as long as I’m here. He got the concept. Before you call me old fool etc let me tell you that now my fun started and I would be ungrateful asshole if I did not state that I was greatly rewarded for my troubles all night long, it’s why I smile. Even skillful suggestion I will buy him that phone tomorrow did not spoil my fun. I think this is what happens when guy makes sure you like him. So my day 11 , busy and expensive turned still to be memorable and full filled , fuck the money.

Day 10 Not only I slept well but also had T in my dreams ( dry, relax ) , I must be missing him I guess so time to get serious to find consolator thought I at breakfast. When in Chiang Mai visit to Doi Suthep , temple up the mountain visible from every corner of city, including my window at Viangbua Mansion is a must. Easiest and most economical way to get there is by baht bus. Those going up the mountain have dedicated stop outside the moat , opposite Chang Puak gate, right in front of 7/11. Fare is 60 baht one way , glitch is baht bus will go when full. And now we have covid and resulting dearth of tourists so I decided to speed things up by asking how much it will be to rent whole vehicle for a trip there and back including waiting. 500 baht seemed reasonable so I agreed immediately , bought some drinks at 7/11 and up the hill we went. Even now it was visible that place is popular as parking was quite full. I conquered 300 or so steps leading to the temple quite fast and find the place worth of accolades I heard about that. Air was much fresher there too , specially that it was still early. View of city down the mountain was worth the trip itself. I spent good 2 hours wandering around, then had a 50 baht lunch in one of stalls there, wandered around souvenir stalls and almost bought the shirt but unfortunately they did not have my size so I consoled myself with obligatory t-shirt and fridge magnet and down we went. Rest of day I spent wandering around old city with it zillion of temples , laboriously I went inside every one I passed by. I found my next hotel I will be moving to tomorrow as well as Sanctuary Spa I intend to visit some day as well. Very touristy day but when it started darkening I walked again to Classic House for an intended massage with guy I called ‘ candidate “ yesterday but from now on that historical figure will be called S . Why historical it will be explained in a day or two. Massage and guy itself were much more impressive than last night’s so I investigated about Long Time option, accepted immediately and quite modest tip of 2000 was asked for a privilege. I must say I liked S from minute 1, both smile and build were enamoring and massage very well conducted. As a bonus he had motorsai so we went for dinner and subsequently to hotel in style. In case somebody is curious what I had for a dinner answer is chicken with cashew nuts, very well done. Luxuriating in my Executive Suite we had a chat , beer and it did not take long before heat of the night lead us to the bed where we, or at least me had a very rewarding night crowning day 10 of my trip. few impressions from Doi Suthep below, airport visible on the right of last pics
