Visited Jupiter at 10:00pm last night, show was about to start, 10-12 customers, 10-11 boys available, ratio wise this is the highest I have seen during my trip so far where customer number exceeds boys count. To top that 4 of them were girls and 1 wealthy customer who had one of those table occupied with lot of boys and whiskey bottle Most of the boys are top or straight acting (so they say), 3 of them were immediately offed by a table with 2 girls and 2 guys. 2 other boys were already booked by wealthy guy, leaving less offering on the table for others Nonetheless not too much loss for me as I already had something arranged for later this evening though wanted to check out how this bar has changed as my experience at Jupiter has been mixed. Anyway, paid 180 Bhat and off to Hotmale to see their model show, only 3 models available tonight, tempted to call "XYZ" (name changed due to privacy) looks very handsome, drinks 400 Bhat for me and for model/ any guy (no difference here). He speaks very little English so conversation was little difficult though that gives an opportunity to convey message with hands He's pure top and therefore things won't work between us but he was happy to offer oral experience with happy ending for 2K bhat (short time), while I love his nipples and very sensitive to touch (money on drinks worth spent), I would rather stick with full service so politely declined. He referred another guy who was cute but since I had an arrangement already so decided to stay with it. Got a text from my arrangement that he's waiting at hotel lobby so paid my bill (800 for drinks and 200 tip for our wonderful model) and called it a night.

I saw West Side Story this afternoon and I was not disappointed. The old songs were well-performed by the new cast. The singing and dancing was fun. The Puerto Ricans had little charisma, but I was starstruck by Ansel Elgort as Tony. He did a great job. Sadly, after the film wrapped, he was accused of causing pain to a sexual partner several years ago. Naturally, she waited to say anything until he had a big movie role.

The joys of travel in trying times. Yesterday I decided I needed a backup plan in case test-and-go was terminated, so I contacted the owner of the villa on Koh Samui and asked if I could extend my booking forward a few days to enable me to switch to the Sandbox program. I was assuming the 7-day Sandbox was a safe bet. Not possible as the villa is not SHA+. Not to worry as there looked to be plenty of good SHA+ options available. I thought adding the flight to Koh Samui to my international ticket would be the big problem. To qualify for Sandbox the domestric flight has to be part of the international booking. So I planned to call the airline first thing in the morning as in my time zone their office was closed. Late in the evening before going to bed I looked at SHA+ options again and found they had shrunk dramatically on Expedia. Lots of 'you just missed out' notices on Agoda. A lot of people thinking the same thing as me? So I rang the airline's 24 hour desk in London. No problem adding the flight at all. The tough part turned out to be the easy part as the other bookings were painful to change. Everything was fully cancelable at no charge ..... except the quarantine fees at my first Bangkok hotel were not. Thai law. $180 gone. The Bangkok Airways flights were changable at no charge ..... but I ended up having to cancel and re-book as the on-line system could not accommodate the fact that I now only needed a one-way ticket while Bangkok Guy need a return ticket. $60 in cancellation fees plus waiting time on a long distance call attempting to get a customer representative to make the changes. Then there is a the cost of our new Koh Samui accommodation. Eye watering would be a fair assessment. 170% the cost of the villa, which was already a piece of self-indulgence. I had to submit the new arrangements to get a new Sandbox Thai Pass and luckily I did it straight away rather than leaving it until the morning. Almost instant approval. I guess a benefit of already being in the system. And now, after finishing my early morning calls, I log onto this Forum and find out that I would have been ok just leaving things alone. Ah well, rather an expensive insurance policy that you never use than an uninsured loss.

As reported elsewhere week after my first stay there Pattaya seems to be picking up slowly but surely. Both Boyztown and Walking Street were immensed in darkness 10 days ago but not they are lit. Just walked aptly named Walking Street, at least overhead lights are there and few bars pretending to be restaurants are open. No loud , in fact no music at all, few wanderers but at least it's something. About Boyztown I reported already , will check again tonight. Booking an emergency room through Agoda I noticed interesting fact. In quite a few cases in Pattaya hotels not available on the website we're still available on the Agoda's app. Also in case if few properties along Beach Road and possibly elsewhere as well prices were slightly different ( 100 - 300 ) baht. I did not detect particular pattern, some were cheaper on website, some on app. Bottom line - if you can, check both.

Right now Siamroads has 2 full-time guides in Bangkok: Mac and Andy. Esso and Olay are working by weekends only (including Friday evening) - guys have another job at weekdays. It was supposed to be Jun 2020 trip but Thailand did not let us in, then I tried my luck for October this year but canceled it. When Thai Pass came to an effect I decided to finally utilize that prehistoric ticket I bought back on Dec 3, 2019 for Jun 2020. And here I'm, feeling like chewing gum after 27 hrs trek, locked in my hotel room, waiting for a nurse to come and take my sample for dreaded PCR test. First time took Swiss and must say that their good reputation is well deserved, massive Boeing 777 plane was surprisingly full with plenty of mixed Thai-Caucasian couples prominently visible in statistic sample and a lot of young people. Few nice surprises on arrival. Thai bashers will be disappointed to hear that admission process was extremely efficiently conducted, well organized and well staffed. In reality they want to see your passport, Thai Pass QR code, immigration T6 form or whatever it'called AND YOUR BOARDING PASS FROM LEG BRINGING YOU TO THAILAND, somewhat unexpected. At 6 am weather extremely pleasant, perhaps no more than balmy 23,even now at 9.30 I' m sitting in my room with balcony door wide opened, AC turned off and all that in the room actually facing the sun. Traffic was also light, Sunday morning has it' s charms. Dtac booth selling Sim cards was opened, just past luggage belts and I noticed 1 exchange booth open but rates were kind disappointing so I did not change money there. Somebody reported messy and disorganized taxi procedure but it was not my experience,as you leave customs area there tables with names of participating hotels and somebody will lead you to your car from there. I must say I need to bite my tongue not to ask my hotel representative if he would be interested in LT since he will be right in place on the Moonlight stage. That is it for now, I will try to update you guys but test, results and well deserved rest first before I even venture anywhere from my temporary and quite pleasant confinement.

Many, especially Thai folk, fail to recognise that there is some excellent Arabica grown in Northern Thailand. Chiang Mai has a number of what I suppose are called 'artisan roasters' who take advantage of this crop. Bualong Coffee and Arts is one example of the phenomenon but is some way from the centre of Chiang Mai. For those who prefer 'milkie' coffees, there is some excellent raw milk available if you look around.

I visited Jupiter and Dreamboys last night, around 9:15pm, a little sad show at Jupiter only 3 boys available, the only perk was drinks were 180 Bhat so still okay there were only 2 customers including me, left in 10 minutes after arrival. Will try again tonight but around 10:00pm to see if the scene changes. Dreamboys, around 10:00pm, 7-8 boys available, 3-4 customers, stayed till 11:00pm, found a nice chap on grindr and decided to go with him instead. Meeting Place Cafe opposite the French bakery in Jomtien Complex also make very good coffee and tea, and it is an excellent location to view the many massuers sitting outside of their shops along the soi.

With a 30-day visa as the prize, a 7-day quarantine might as well be 30 days when measured in effect. It would only be considered by returning citizens or retirees with residence in Thailand. And a small numbers of those on business.

I visited Jupiter and Hot Male last night. Soi 4 busy, not overwhelmingly but busy. Entered Jupiter just before 9 , on time for 7 boys on duty to start their parade through the stage and audience which was about the same layer on swelling to perhaps 12-15. Smiling boy from week ago was gone or at least his smile was so boys sporting their usual sober look. Drink 150-180. After that they disappeared to their seats so interested party would have bit hard time to assess what's on offer. I find this model strange but that,s me. It seems that they repeat that routine every 30 minutes because the same happened at 9.30, this time with more boys including 1 or 2 traces of smile. At 10.00 Proper show, nothing unusuL there some more flesh and as always there , no nudity. About 10.15 I moved myself to Hot Male. 5 people inside, 4 of them half my age. Sorry Bob I think it is a bit irresponsible to repeat boy gossip like this on a public forum without substantiation. This could affect the livelihood of many staff relying on the soi for their food. I didn't go out last night but I asked friends who did, whether they heard anything like this. None heard a thing. I also contacted two owners who also knew of no staff sick from Covid.

I think this is very unlikely. I think that I would have heard. It looks like Thai boy gossiping. I will find out what I can tonight.

What started inconclusive turned out to be quite excellent turning my 4 days in Chiang Mai into Classic House monodiet proving my own rule to always allow for a second chanceunless bad will is involved. Which in turn crystallized as 3 Long Times with the same specimen and daIly massages with different highly qualified specialists each day, crowned in turn into last evening's 4 hands massage. Even free transportation between 2 hotels was thrown in. City sights are impressive, long distance train to Bangkok was sent off with full regalia including playing national anthem ( I did not take it, just went to see railway infrastructure and happen to be in that moment). City's crisp and sunny weather has also ability to turn old fools into idiots and had them still being happy for that. Details will be provided in due course. Bangkok's air is much warmer and steamer but I was quite happy to be back, if only to see Hot Male on 2nd night after re-opening.

Appreciate your preference but I often find that they they can be equally attractive in street clothes...like the lad in your photo on Silom 🙂
