Are you going bareback now.?

Ok, call me a scared dinosaur!. But I do not live in the USA and have not had sex in the USA for several decades. But I have had a lot of sex in Thailand, even unprotected sex prior to the realisation that HIV had spread to the country around the mid 1980s. Thereafter it has been condoms. Why? Because I feel that some of those (perhaps many) who are promiscuous and believe that they are fully protected with PrEP fail to realise two facts that I outlined in the "Donations from LGBT Too Risky" thread in this part of the forum. The first is that 31% of MSM in Bangkok are HIV+. The second is - "in 2016 only 45% of youngsters in the 15-24 age grouping had "adequate knowledge" of how to prevent HIV. Almost certainly as a result new sexually transmitted infections continue to rise in this group." So anyone deciding to go bareback in Bangkok has to realise there is a very good chance the boy he is with will be infected, and that the younger the boy the more likely it is that he may still not know how HIV is spread. PrEP is very safe - but not 100% safe. Although Thais covered under the universal medical scheme can get PrEP free from the Red Cross, some boys will not be too shy to do so. Also, to be fully effective a 7-day course is recommended. A young Thai MB in desperate need of cash in these times of covid19, may assume just starting the medication on the day they have sex is sufficient. Then what if that cute boy on the app is from a neighbouring country? Will he know any more a Thai? So in my view it remains exceedingly selfish to have sex in Thailand without using condoms, given such facts. Condoms like the Sagamo 001 made in Japan are about the thinnest at 0.018 mm thick. They feel as though you are not in fact using a condom. To protect oneself with PrEP yet possibly leave the one you are with open to infection is not dinosaur thinking. It is being understanding that your partner may not have a clue what PrEP really is.3 points -
Prices are dependent on how good a negotiator you are! But considering that the current currency rate is over Brazilian $5.25 to $1.00 US. i didn’t really worry about what the current rate the guys were charging. none were out of line.2 points

Until I had an opportunity today to view the National Geographic documentary about the rescue of the Thai Wild Boars football team, I thought I had a pretty comprehensive idea of what happened three years ago. After all, I’ve read whatever I could find on the incident and saw an earlier film about it when it debuted in Bangkok. I was wrong. “The Rescue” approaches the event from the viewpoint of the rescuers themselves. With never seen before footage- much of it from the cameras of the UK lead cave divers, the chaos, the disillusionment and near failure are described in chilling detail. But so are the final three days that saw all 13 saved. They were unlikely heroes. Mostly middle-aged, grey and balding, who shared the eccentric hobby of cave diving. It’s a small circle and those who have been at it for any length of time eventually get to know the others regardless of where they come from. Without those connections, the mission would not have succeeded. The first handful to arrive about three days into the event. After persuading the Thai Seals that they really could take care of themselves, they were allowed to venture inside. As they made their way toward a chamber known as Pattaya beach where authorities believed the team may have found refuge, they came upon a chamber where they discovered four stranded Thai pump workers who had become marooned there when rapidly rising water levels blocked their escape. In an account I don’t recall hearing before, the divers used a spare mouthpiece that allowed them to share their air. They managed to get all four safely out despite panic attacks when they had to briefly had to submerge them through very tight quarters. That panic experience with the four men would eventually become the key factor that ended up making the removal of the 13 possible. What is well known by all is that moment when the UK divers advanced further into the cave than anyone had done so far. They reached Pattaya beach but found it empty. They ventured on and at one point surfaced and removed their masks to sniff the air. Experienced divers know that odors in confined spaces can be a telltale clue as what to expect. What they smelled told them that they were close to their goal. Shortly after they emerged at the next chamber and were greeted by a sight that they had come to doubt was possible. When they spoke in English, a youth from Myanmar responded in kind. When they got word back to the command center, all the world knew about it within the hour. But the battle to get them out was just beginning. At first, the Thai Navy seals took the lead and managed to get medics to the chamber where the team was trapped. But because they lacked the rare skills and specialized equipment to operative effectively in that environment for extended periods, the rag tag volunteers increasingly became the go-to guys in tight situations. At one point, a monk from Myanmar, much revered in the local community, was brought to the scene to pray for the boys and their rescuers. He blessed bracelets that Thais wear on their wrists for many reasons and asked that they be brought to the boys. When the divers distributed them to the boys, they immediately put them on and were visibly comforted. Since they shared the same tongue, they collaborated easily with the US military personnel who helped them strategize and, along with the Thai seals, set up staging areas for supplies and air bottles in chambers between the boys and the entrance. The operation nearly came undone by disagreement about how to get the boys out. The Thais were initially favoring the idea of waiting until the monsoon season ended, while keeping the boys supplied with food and medicine. But the reality was that the cave would flood completely and all would drown before then. In the meantime, one of the UK divers, who had been keeping in touch with another diver in Australia. A surgeon by profession, the Aussie was asked if it would be possible to sedate the boys because of he was sure that they would panic during the long ordeal of underwater removal. At first the doctor came up with a dozen ways the sedation could backfire (i.e., aspirating into their masks). But his friend told him that he could visualize no other way they boys could be removed. The surgeon agreed to come to see for himself and arrived within a few days. After visiting the chamber and examining the boys, he reluctantly agreed it was the best alternative. Then it became the task to convince Thai authorities. It was highly risky he told them. Such a thing had never before been attempted, but the plan was their last best hope. The go ahead was given and the rest is history. If you get an opportunity to see “The Rescue,” you won’t be disappointed. It’s as inspirational a film as I’ve ever seen.2 points

On Monday night the 24,year old i am very hot on, stayed overnight snd left at 8:30 am with plans to meet at 117 that evening. Tuesday at noon a guy i met 2 years ago and is a Brazilian Jujitsu competitor is at the gym from 8:00 to 11:00 every day so he usually shows up at noon or 10:00 at night after classes, so i have to make sure i keep accurate times when he is due to stop by! He does not work at a sauna i met him through another guy i knew. Really a nice guy! After he left at 4:00 i left for 117 as Tuesday night is their biggest night! I met the guy there who is my newest “love” interest and we looked for a 1 or 2 passivo to go to a room with us….that took about 2 minutes! after we left 117 we went to dinner in Ipanema and then he spent the night. con’t2 points -
Forty-eight hours of PURE PLEASURE

#LatePost Another weekend of sex sex and more sex. So the hubby and I decide to take ANOTHER, YES ANOTHER trip to the DR. Hes told me many times how much he prefers the DR over Rio. With our ability to jump on a Spirit flight on a Friday night, PHUCK ALL WEEKEND and come back home Sunday night, im beginning to agree with him. When we arrive, I manny has a few new guys that he wanted us to check out, but my hubby has his regular that he enjoys and I met this officer the last time I was there so i wanted o try something new. True story about how I met this officer in the colonial zone and got his whatsapp number. Last month when we were there I went to Pick up a guy in the colonial zone who couldn't find my apartment BLK HERCULES is what I call him. Hes the guy on my Twitter page that im sucking and riding. OMG! his body is unbelievable. I call him blk Hercules, but his complexion isn't blk. It's more like beige/tan/coco. Again his body is PHUCKING AMAZING. SO as im waiting for him in front of EL CONDE HOTEL AND RESTAURANT a lean sexy cop is in standing in the area. My deviant mind walks over and asks the cop in Spanish, "do you know where Pacos is. The restaurant where all the sexy Dominican guys hang out to make extra money?" Now I knew where pacos was. I just wanted to see if the cop would take the bait. Sure enough he took the bait, hook, line and sinker. He knew what I wanted and didn't want to miss out on making extra money himself. He gave me his whatsapp but we didn't do anything that trip because I already had guys lined up through manny. The cop and I spoke from time to time and agreed to hook up on my next trip, which was this past weekend. He would never send me any dick pics and is very careful with his words when he texts. I'm a true whore and I know what I love. I love BIG DICKS. I like my hole being pounded and punished. the cop told me he had a big dick but would never send pics. In my slutty mind I was like "PHUCK THIS! If you can't show me the dick and I can't confirm if its big like I like them then im not going to waste my time chatting with you while I'm in the US and you are in the DR." I finally said hello when he hit me up after the 2nd or 3rd day of me not responding to him. He asked why I stopped talking and I told him why. Next thing I knew. He sent a video of him on a couch with a HUGE ERECT dick. I WAS blown TF away, but couldn't view the video anymore because whatsapp has a feature now that automatically erases the video after a person views the video. I had no idea this feature was available until he sent me the disappearing video. He asked when I was coming back and I told him. He asked me to have some cold presidente beer for him because it relaxes him and makes his very horny. When he got to the apartment, I showed him my Twitter page and asked could I take a picture of him and promised not to show his face. He agreed and while he was showering he called me into the bathroom. When I walked in the bathroom his dick was brick hard and he wanted me to take a video without his face. I almost broke my neck running back to the room to get my phone to record him and his BIG ERECT DICK... He got out of that shower and gave me what I so desperately needed, a good old DICK DOWN. He was the only guy I saw the entire weekend. After having my insides rearranged the entire weekend, he texted ME OUT THE BLUE on Monday and told me it was ok to post the shower video and other videos we recorded on my twitter page as long as I crop his face like I did the other guys in the videos on my page. AS ALWAYS It was an AMAZING WEEKEND in SDQ. my Twitter page is blaksuperman2. The videos I recorded with him are take too long to upload here. It's like 30 minutes or more for 1 video. #Enjoy Until next time, BE SAFE and HEALTHY, guys. 20211009_103554.mp41 point -

I find this topic very disturbing, All have to practice safe sex with strangers that you don't know or trust the ones who don't want to and willing to take the risk are doing it on their responsibility and should not be proud of it or recommending this practice on this forum. I think the moderator of this forum should close the discussion on this thread .1 point -

No, I did not. Had you read my post you have have noted that it referred specifically to Bangkok with a lesser reference to other countries in Asia. I assumed from your post that you do not live in Bangkok. If I am wrong, then why did you post this in the Gay Thailand forum rather than a more general one? Wherever you live, you can call me what you like. You will obviously do as you wish and I doubt if anyone on this Board would or could persuade you otherwise. But for you to suggest that those who do not use PrEP are dinosaurs is both stupid and more than somewhat ridiculous.1 point -

So much has been written about Oscan Wilde that we think we know most about his life. We know he was born in Dublin and spent most of his working life in London. Less well known (if at all), he spent more of the rest of his life in the Northern Irish town of Enniskillen than anywhere else. As a boarder at Portora Royal School he lived in the city between 1864 and 1871. "The Happy Prince" is the title of a lovely short story Wilde wrote in 1888. In essence it tells the simple tale of a poor town where a swallow sits on top of a statue, having missed the annual migration south with the rest of the swallows. The statue is of a young Prince who never knew sadness in his life for sorrow was not permitted in his castle. Seeing the poverty in the town from high on his plinth, the statue asks the swallow to strip off the gold leaf covering his body and give it to the poor. Now Enniskillen is marking Wilde's years of sojourn in the town. A new literary tourism project has mounted 150 gold-leaf sculpted swallows over 86 buildings in the town, including a butcher's shop, s florist, a jeweller and an optician. They follow a trail that leads from a new mural of The Happy Prince to Portora Castle. Two are particularly associated with Wilde the man. One is over a window in the local jail in remembrance of the time he spent in Reading Jail. The other is by the Victoria Cross Memorial in tribute to Wilde's elder son who was killed in action in World War 1. Enniskillen is also marking another famous literary personality who also boarded at Portora, Samuel Beckett. Neither writer had previously been celebrated by Enniskillen. Now it is hoped this town more noted for its position as a centre of what were called "The Troubes", the nationalist and religious conflict that scarred Northern Ireland between the 1960s and 1990s, will become better known for its literary giants. https://www.theguardian.com/books/2021/oct/15/enniskillen-mounts-oscar-wilde-tribute-with-flight-of-gold-leaf-swallows1 point

Yes, that's why I asked. I also heard and seen some videos about people that used Uber. The driver would ask them to sit at the front because then it would look like they were friends. But as I understand it now, Cabify is illegal as well. I know Cabify from Barcelona and the in Medellin they have an app "Easy Taxi." Here is a two-year-old thread from Tripadvisor: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g297478-i6346-k12473130-Transportation_in_Medellin_Uber_Cabify_Easy_Taxi-Medellin_Antioquia_Department.html The agency from which we rent a house is sending a car for us. This service will cost us $80.000 pesos from Medellin's José María Córdova airport, which is equally priced as a regular taxi but I would gladly pay more, just for the safety aspect. https://medellinguru.com/get-to-medellin-from-the-airport/1 point

I would sincerely hope that one could go straight to Pattaya and get the test done there. Pattaya Hotels currently offer the ASQ so I would hope it’s not a problem. Having to go to BKK for the test would mean arriving in Pattaya at least two days later than planned.1 point

From Coconuts Bangkok Architects in New York have designed a massive expansion to the U.S. Embassy compound that incorporates shaded outdoor Thai terraces and Lanna features from the north. Ground was broken Friday in a ceremony overseen by Charge d’ Affaires Michael Heath and Thai VIPs on what’s modestly coined an “annex” to the embassy property on Wireless Road, a US$625 million (THB20.21 billion) development aiming for a 2025 opening. The New Office Annex, dubbed The Nox, will be used to house additional diplomatic, security and commercial services while also modernizing the 1960s-era embassy’s consular services. It will also house U.S. agencies currently spread across Bangkok, with the embassy saying it will help centralize operations and strengthen bilateral ties.
