  1. my opinion is it’s a good night if you find someone you like! I have been to saunas with 10 working guys and found 2 i like and been to saunas with 35 guys and didn’t find anyone i really wanted! BUT..if you have zero naked guys in your room then a sauna on a bad night is better then your hotel room! Mondays and Wednesdays are the best nights at pointe202, Tuesdays, fridays at 117, the rest of the nights are hit or miss but again better then a empty hotel room!

  2. I can't agree more. The live interaction ("chemistry") is indispensable, which is why renting from ads or online has been about 50% disappointing to me. In the saunas, I've been shocked by several guys who were not my type but somehow hooked me. I still remember one guy in Brasilia who got me with his seductive eyebrows - I kid you not.

  4. Hi Guys, I've been busy for a while and writing doesn't come that easy for me. For those of you who are interested: Let me clarify the situation with my friend first. He is 53 and believe it or not, he doesn't pay for sex. I've known him for 20 years and this never changed. For people who are used to paying for sex, it might come as a surprise that a 53-year-old can have so many young guys, but he really can. I've seen boys follow him from Asia to Europe at their own expense. When he goes to Thailand, he goes to meet Chinese boys. These guys have their own money. He is always very clear about the money part. He usually gets his boys through the apps during the day and at night he goes out to drink and then sleep alone. I am the opposite. Back to Cuba... I read @macdaddi 's post about $15 for a night out in Cuba. This is not my experience. Cuba is crazy expensive in more ways than one. But I can not speak for other people's experiences. Day 2 was a Friday. In the daytime, we didn't do that much. At night Blondie came to pick us up to go to Pico Blanco. We had to pay some kind of entrance fee and then with the elevator to the top floor. I remember that the room was rather big with a single bar. There was a stage with many tables and chairs in front. We decided to sit at the right side of the stage but as far back as possible. I don't think it was overly expensive compared to the other places I've been to in Havana. It was not busy when we entered but there were some cute guys. One was my friends' type and he didn't waste time going after him. I stayed at the table drinking with Blondie till my friend came back with the boy. He was cute, had light skin, short straight dark hair, and a tongue piercing. Ugghhh, I'm not into piercings. The worst is when they have a nose ring. The boy, whose name I don't remember was very nice. He spoke fluent English and was interesting to talk to. In the meantime, the place filled up and Camilo also walked in. If you remember, he was the guy I met a night before and planned to meet this night in Pico Blanco. He looked just as cute as the night before. I invited him to come and sit next to me and we had some drinks. Around that time the show also started but that is all a blur to me now. I only remember that we had fun and we went in a group in an old Caddilac (could have been a chevy) to Mixto. Mixto was as much fun as the night before. After a while, Camilo came to me and asked why I wanted a threesome. I was not sure what he meant. i told him that I wasn't interested in a threesome. Then he told me that Blondie had asked him duhhhh... yeah, I had asked Blondie to find a boy, but obviously not a boy that I was already on a date with. Elian was in Mixto, too. HE WAS PISSED! And I don't mean drunk. As I said, he was 27 but looked very young and he was very small too. He was just cursing at my friend, who had dumped him the night before. I spoke to Elian a couple of times that night. He was intelligent and also fluent in English. He explained that he had dated my friend a couple of days prior, and he was disappointed that my friend went with so many other boys. This is really the story of the 20 years that I've known my friend. I lost count of how many boys came to me with the love problems they had with my friend. Pretty amazing! Especially when you know how many really nice boys he just dumped. Again, not one time was it about money. To be honest, this second day is hard for me to recall. Camilo went home with me and I did have a little crush. He had a perfect face and a perfect body... a great night. Besides this, no major crazy things happened. I think it all started to get crazy from day three. I might write about day three when I have a few drinks. Somehow it's easier to remember those things after a few :-)

  5. I do not know you, so I do not know from what culture you are looking at Brazil. It is not just an open minded culture, most people coming from a Puritan influenced cultures do not get that. They do not relate sex with brothels necessarily, although they have nothing against them. When I was in Rio last November, Rhyheim was hosting his invited stars in Ipanema hotels. The staff and the management recognized him and them and they were delighted to offer their installations to shoot porn for no extra charge. The cleaning lady at his home told Rhyheim that her son was a fan, and asked to take a picture with him to send to her son. Most of the Brazilian pon stars I know not only are in full disclosure with their families, but they love what they do. It is just anecdotal evidence, but it does allows you to infer that it is not just an issue of open-mindness, but instead a radically different mindset towards sex and sexuality.

  7. There must be a "not" missing in that sentence Why would you make an effort to fly that particular aircraft after it had just crashed? Or is that sentence also missing a "not"? On the 737max, I agree with you about that odd engine/wing constellation, which is the root cause of all that has happened with the crashes. If I understand things correctly it was this design that gave rise to the need for that faulty MCAS system, meaning without the MCAS the plane is nowhere near airworthy. Now I understand that electronic safety and other support system are of great benefit and reliability, but using them in a manner of electronic sorcery to make a non-airworthy plane fly at all is not really a trustworthy concept to me. I hope I'll be able to avoid this model in the coming years.

  8. I think we all have our own "type" and think that's the best looking and everyone else's is ugly, lol Tonight, I didn't even feel like going out. Monday night can be hit or miss in the saunas..... I had seen this young Will Smith looking guy in here the last few nights and wondered what he was like. I started a conversation with him about his haircut and it went on from there. We talked a bit and he agreed to come back to my apt. He was sooo interesting to talk to and very intelligent.....ended up being a great night and great sex. Glad I went out and tried something outside of my normal types......now will sleep like a baby

Visitors must strictly follow Covid-prevention guidelines including social distancing, mask wearing and handwashing. Before leaving: If visitors are going to other provinces, they must have evidence that they have stayed at a SHA+ accommodation for at least 14 days. https://www.thaienquirer.com/28759/government-releases-guideline-for-phuket-sandbox/ ================================= From The Thaiger Expats in Phuket without a work permit can register for a Covid-19 vaccine Expats living in Phuket, who do not have a work permit, can now register for a Covid-19 vaccine. Under the local vaccine registration website, www.phuket.win, there are now links for foreigners with work permits and foreigners without work permits to apply for a vaccine. Of course, with the ever-faulty websites run by the Thai government, we had to give it a try and the links work, both on a computer and on a smartphone. For expats outside of Phuket, you might have to wait. Appointments are full for foreign residents, according to the vaccine registration website ThailandIntervac.com, which is run by the Department of Disease Control. Earlier this week, the website had a data leak due to a “temporary glitch” while the site was undergoing “urgent” maintenance to keep up with the high demand for a vaccine appointment. Other people’s names, passport numbers and locations would appear under “user information” when people tried to get in the queue for an appointment. https://thethaiger.com/news/phuket/expats-in-phuket-without-a-work-permit-can-register-for-a-covid-19-vaccine

  11. From The Thai Enquirer Opposition demands more clarity over reopening risks Opposition parties are seeking explanations over exactly what risks the country might have to face under the plan for reopening by October. “If the premier is going to state that we ‘accept the risks of opening up’, then the people are going to need transparent information of what those risks are,” said Move Forward Party spokesman Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha stated in a televised national address that the country would reopen in 120 days, aimed at October 14, with 50 million people inoculated with a first dose by then. “If I am to ask you to invest in my business, I need documentation of what kind of risks you are getting into,” he told Thai Enquirer. “In this case, there is no clear number of how many vaccines are arriving per month, and still [Prayut is] asking the people to accept the risk of opening up”. The prime minister also stated that the country will have 105 million vaccines distributed within the year, after signing deals with Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, and Moderna (read more here). Wiroj conceded that vaccines require sophisticated production, but it should at least be possible to estimate a minimum delivery capacity, he said, citing health experts. “If we aim to vaccinate 50 million people, but there is no information of minimum number of doses arriving per week, how can this be a reasonable plan?” Wiroj further stated that, as of the Prime Minister’s address, he has not seen any cabinet resolution on how to acquire or produce the required number of vaccine doses. “I would like the Prime Minister to address in further detail how many contracts the government has made [with vaccine manufacturers],” he said. “The number of 105 million doses will have to a combination of various contracts.” Wiroj told the Thai Enquirer that he is not alleging that the contracts do not exist, just saying that he has not seen them, and would like some clarification on this from the premier. “What Prayut said last night is just empty promises”, said Pichai Naripthaphan, deputy leader of the Pheu Thai Party. He expressed skepticism that the country would be able to reopen in just four months, when it has been unable to do for more than a year since the outbreak began. To prove its commitment, the government should promise to resign if it fails to reach the goals set by Prayut on Wednesday, Pichai said, adding that people have lost patience with the government and its string of broken promises. “If Prayut cannot open up within 120 days or procure or distribute 100 million vaccines, he should pack his bags and resign in order to show commitment to the people.” Pichai said Prayut’s national address was also a response to criticism from Thaksin Shinawatra, a former premier currently in self-exile to avoid a range of charges. 12. Perhaps better to wait until you can afford to pay the going rate and preferably also give the model a generous tip for good performance. If you are driven by “discount”, “cheap”, “cheapest”, you are unlikely to end up satisfied. Better to pay a bit more, show some respect, and end up with good value.

  14. There were also rumors that one of the Moroccan royals was gay. But that could often result in harsher repression, in the "methinks he doth protest too much" fashion. By far the most liberal place in North Africa was Tunis, where women in miniskirts were out and about even 30 years ago when I was there. But the entire region was a don't ask don't tell culture. If you are discreet, you can find much action under the surface.

  15. yup, that and only that is really the key takeaway from that speech and offers some hope for future developments. Specific promises, such as "will open in October" are pretty meaning- and worthless. As you correctly point out, timetables have to be flexible, not by choice but by necessity. A million things could derail that promised opening, plus it might be just as fraught with red tape and uncertainties as the Phuket Sandbox. Therefore, I am personally unable to bank on it for my return to Thailand from a tentatively considered trip to Germany over the summer

  16. Great memories! Palermo Viejo is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the world, vaguely recalling Greenwich Village (or the East Village) before they wealthied up. Palermo Chico I recall as a tiny enclave, practically a gated community, where I got some hostile "can I help you?" looks when I wandered through there as a rag-tag backpacker. However, the big modern area surrounding it - basically the park and everything north of Av. Santa Fe - was what I called Palermo Nuevo. PV is definitely better. Rodriguez Pena - This is in Barrio Norte, right (if they still call it that)? Was there a gay club called Contramano on that street? This was where I picked up my first rent man (or "taxi," in the delightful Argentine slang) in my life. Contramano was a "historic" moment in my life - good or bad is still up for debate decades letter. I'm glad you post menus and prices. I like to ask people how much a cup of coffee is where they traveled to. It's surprising how many tourists, especially cruise ship people, wouldn't know. The Argentine economy swings from feast to famine. It looks like right now, it's decently priced at the official rate and a bargain at the black/blue market rate. Are credit cards accepted and how much do they mess around with the rates and fees? Is the blue rate completely legal, semi-legal, or illegal but nobody cares? I assume cash (USD) is king now with the parallel exchange.

  18. I was so grateful and full of praise for Thailand in it's handling of the pandemic for over a year, so few deaths and infections. Now? The arrogance and incompetence of the junta has now come to bite us. If I could afford it I would be on a plane, any plane, back to the UK to access the vaccine. Instead I face isolating myself, not meeting with my friends, until we eventually get access to the vaccine in Thailand, which will be October/November at best for the first dose, at no doubt a hugely inflated cost for farang. I don't care that I will have to pay for it. I do care, very much, that I will be isolated for the next four to five months if I want to stay alive.

  20. As is clear from reading this thread and those on other forums, Thailand's vaccine policy has been a disaster from the get-go. I realise this post gets close to what is within the rules, but without naming names, the decision of the Health Ministry last year to place the contract to manufacture the locally produced version of the Astra Zeneca vaccine with a company that had never before produced any vaccine of any type whatsoever was a farce. This was especially true given that the Government lab which has produced many different vaccines, some under contract to the WHO, bid for the contract and lost. The delays in getting that vaccine out shows the lackadaisical attitude of the government. Charitably they were probably lulled into a false sense of security by the very small number of cases last year. Then they dropped the ball and through mismanagement and corruption allowed the present third wave to roll over the country big time. The Prime Minister overruling the advice of his medical experts by permitting travel during Songkran this year was madness given that the wave had in fact started before then. The excuse he is quoted in the media as saying is that the public would not have stood for a second cancellation of Songkran! More madness! Now they have been forced to purchase tens of millions of doses from overseas at goodness knows what price. Oh, and the fact that the Minister of Health has ambitions to become Prime Minister may or may not have something to do with the debacle!

  21. From Coconuts Bangkok Vaccine site for foreigners in Thailand spills names, passport numbers It took only a few days before the big glitches happened. Despite a seemingly positive start to Thailand’s vaccine campaign, a website designed for foreign nationals to register for vaccinations late last week began coughing up their private data, putting scrutiny back on officials who may have been hoping fast jabs would soothe sore spirits. As recently as last Friday, the website launched to accommodate vaccine registration for foreign nationals, www.thailandintervac.com, was found to be revealing the names, passport numbers and resident provinces of people who registered via the website. Thai officials have yet to release a statement in response to the data breach. Calls to the Ministry of Public Health on Monday afternoon went unanswered. The breach did not require expert hacking. On Friday evening, a member of Coconuts Media using the website first discovered the breach by stumbling upon the URL www.thailandintervac.com/profile-summary.php. Every time the page was refreshed, a different foreign national’s information would be revealed. That page was soon taken offline and made unavailable over the weekend. As of Monday afternoon, the website was no longer available — notably a few minutes after expat blogger Richard Barrow called out the incident on his Twitter account. Although most netizens slammed it as an example of official negligence, some pointed out that the breach may have gone even further than Barrow had reported. Twitter user @IAmKohChang, founder of the popular travel website www.iamkohchang.com, suggested he was able to access the entire database of foreign profiles. https://coconuts.co/bangkok/news/vaccine-site-for-foreigners-in-thailand-spills-names-passport-numbers/

  22. 30 years ago it was. A monarchy very European friendly and moderately Islamic. There were big contrasts between cities like Tetouan or Marrakesh, very traditional looking and with women absolutely and evidently oppressed, next to other cities like Tanger or Casablanca, with a much more European feeling, and even local women dressing as their Westerner sisters.

  23. HI Tassojunior -- I didn't include Medellin on the list that I offered here because I don't find Medellin particularly "open" to foreigners, it takes some understanding of the culture to make contact, in my experience. But mileage can vary -- your experience could be quite different. Just to be precise, as posted elsewhere, the infamous "Calle de Pecados" (Calle 57A - Street of Sins) is almost completely abandoned now, including the sex hotel. The Machete Club is open infrequently, most of the other spots on this street appear to be closed permanently. This may change in the future, but there were just 2 boys working the street when I was there a couple of months ago. Sadly Club de Tobi is another victim of Covid19 -- the club closed last year (2020) and the building is now for sale.

  24. Medellin has a small block (Calle 57A) of hustler bars with a sex hotel with rainbow flag on the north side. The guys in Medellin are generally much better looking than in Bogota and half the price or less, but this block attracts the only ugly guys in Medellin somehow. I think the Definitive Columbia thread here still has photos. In spite of hot guys and perfect weather, Medellin is mostly worth it over Bogota if Club Tobi is open.

  26. When I went to Sto Domingo the first time, almost 20 years ago, there was a chic nightclub in the colonial district. It drew a mixed crowd, as in many countries hip young straights head to the gay clubs. Several very hot guys made their availability known, and I picked out one of the wildest romp in my life. That club is no more, but there is news on these forums that a similar one is opening up. I love these kind of places. I suspect the OP would like them too, but they are so few. My guess is to find the most chic gay club anywhere you go and check out the vibe. Colombia has the friendliest, most gregarious people. That can present many opportunities, but also mixed signals, everywhere.

  27. Going to throw my 2 cents into the pot..and since this is posted to the Latin America forum, may I suggest that the best cities in Latin American to meet local boys in the local bars/clubs (not sex adjacent) are: - Havana, Cuba (they are always looking for foreigners, especially to pay for a night out that might cost you a whopping $15 total) - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (healthy gay scene around El Conde and the local boys love to dance and fuck til late. Just be prepared to pay) - Bogota, Colombia (Chapi-gay lives up to its name, there are always boys looking for something exotic -- meaning your white ass because you are not local) - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (see Santo Domingo, same rules apply) - Mexico City, Mexico (twink quotient is super high, Mexicans love to meet new people and everyone is a stranger in DC. Plus strippers/go-go's leave 'em horny by end of the night) - Santiago, Chile (they don't see a lot of tourists, the locals will seek you out) - LIma, Peru (If you don't look like an Andean local, you are going to stand out and Peruvians are curious about the world) - Buenos Aires, Argentina (few foreigners i.e. non-latino travel this far; locals are friendly, proud and neurotic. Always very social) Good luck with your hunt! Mac

  30. Sadly my experience in Colombia has been sauna- and rent boys from Grindr-free. All my experience is with Chaturbate models from Day 1. So I do not have any wisdom to share about these establishments, even if I've been to Colombia so many times now. But I wanted to add here my experience in Santa Marta from last weekend. Santa Marta is a one of the major cities along the Colombian Caribbean coastline. Its way less full of western tourists than the more developed Cartagena, but really popular with locals and Venezuelans so you get a different experience. Some points: 1. It was the Festival of the Sea (Fiesta del Mar) in Santa Marta last weekend, and I was there with 2 of my regular Chaturbate buddies (who are boyfriends in real life and on screen), who met me at the Barranquilla airport, which is a good 2 hours from Santa Marta, but has way more flights to it than the smaller Santa Marta airport, therefore it is cheaper to fly into. We Uber'ed it from the airport to the closest bus station, which was with a company called Berlinas. The ticket to Santa Marta was $5 per person, and it was a comfortable 2-hour ride to the Santa Marta Berlinas station: 2. There are two main destinations for beaches in the Santa Marta area. One is Rodadero beach, which is located south of Santa Marta proper, and its probably the less hectic and more picturesque of the main beaches: 3. The main beach is by the Bahia area in Santa Marta, which is busier but noticed more locals than tourists, which is good for window shopping for local eye candy: 4. Since it was super hot and humid almost all the time here (apart from the occasional showers), the boys are also usually sin ropa: 5. Since it is Colombia, you'll also find a lot of entertainers in streets. breakdancing hotties, for example: 6. During the special weekend I was here, there were a lot of parades. One of them was a parade of Marines from various latin american countries (Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru etc), and therefore the town was filled with good looking fit and young marines celebrating with everyone: At night, the main parade, Desfile del Mar, was at least a 7 hour parade that went from the afternoon to night: 7. As far as gay establishments are concerned, I do not know if there are any saunas here. But bear in mind that Santa Marta is just 2 hours from Barranquilla, a city that has at least 5 Chaturbate/Cam 4 studios (that I know of). My model buddies had two best friends, also Chaturbate models, who also made the journey to Santa Marta this weekend as well, to escort. They told me that from time to time, models in Barranquilla usually take the bus to either Cartagena or Santa Marta to take advantage of the presence of the tourists in those cities, in the hopes of scoring some needed cash. They usually charge $25-$40 a session, which will usually pay for a night in their motel and their meals and passage for the day. Multiple customers make the trip worthwhile. At the very least, one customer makes the trip break even for them, so at least they get a trip out of it, instead of being stuck in the more inland Barranquilla. Snagging more customers meant extending their stay and living the beach life. They use Grindr mainly to ply their wares. Since I was with my two Chaturbate buddies (who are territorial and don't share me with anyone), I could not sample what was on offer that weekend, but my Grindr blew up anyway. There were just too many boys on Grindr looking, either free or paid. It was a virtual smorgasbord: 8. Speaking of gay establishments, the only gay club in town is "Voltage" a decent open-air dance club with a runway in the middle of the dance floor. There was a cover on a Saturday night ($4.50), and the music was the usual reggaeton and gay pop music that Colombians love, which was fine by me. My Chaturbate buddies invited the two other Chaturbate best friends along to go with us, after all their escorting duties were over of course (11 PM). The two guys paid for all our covers (it was a lucrative day for one of them), and I offered to pay for the drinks (seems fair). We opted to sit in the "VIP" section which was on an elevated platform overlooking the dance floor, which to me seemed a perfectly comfortable way to spend the night in. We were greeted by the drag queen (trans) in residence, with a waiter in tow, and she explained to us how it worked in the club, and what was in store for us that night. We came at a good night it seems. And our waiter who waited on us the whole night was hot: I paid $55 for a bottle of Buchanan's deluxe and some Coca Colas to wash it down, and surprisingly it was more than enough for the 5 of us for the night: It was a good night because the place was packed, and it was the coronation of Miss Trans Santa Marta that night as well: I'll say that this VIP section was a good idea, because it looked crowded down below with the masses, and up here we had the luxury of sitting in comfy sofas and talk without shouting. It was a good vantage point for the ceremonies as well, with the contestants and judges talking to us while the contest was going on: The main drag queen for the night, Kassidy, sat and drank with us and shot the shit. She was uber cool: Incidentally there was a gaggle of Chaturbate models with their boss in one of the tables that night. Since I already knew the boss I asked our waiter to get them a cheap whiskey bottle on me ($20). I scored brownie points on that one. Will collect on this favor later We left around 4 AM, with festivities still pretty much ongoing when we left. 9. Lots of AirBNB options for the area, and the one I chose had a king bed big enough for me and two chaturbate models. The building we stayed at didn't seem to mind letting the two other models in with the three of us, and all 5 of us were able to enjoy the two rooftop pools in the building. Overall Santa Marta is fun, but I would recommend it only if you are already in Barranquilla looking for a diversion, or visiting Tayrona National Park (fabulous by the way, a must visit). If hiring boys is a priority, lots to choose from on Grindr, mostly cam boys, but there are superior offerings in Cartagena, which is 4 hours away, and of course in Medellin and Bogota. The more choice boys along the Colombian Caribbean prefer whoring in Cartagena because there are more gringos there, but justifiably they will charge a little more because it costs more to stay there for the boys. However, I maintain that there are more choice free boys in Barranquilla in general, relative to Colombia, for some reason. Haven't had my Grindr blow up so much in Barranquilla.
