    VACCINATED

I don’t mean to interfere but I would not hold my tongue for a personal close relation, so ... Thailand has committed to the Sinovac vaccine but the efficacy data are poor. It is launching in Brazil which was a main research location and was given emergency authorization there mainly due to political wrangling and desperation. You might consider holding out for the AstraZeneca vaccine that is also planned by Thailand. The low case incidence may allow the luxury of waiting a bit. The volume of doses is much higher than the SinoVac contract. There is a little Phase 1 vaccine research study apparently starting up at Chula U. It is mRNA model like the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna models. Everybody gets the vaccine; it is not placebo-controlled at this stage.

Very jealous here. We are told we may not get them in Thailand until May! However, happy you guys got them. Anyone want to get an extra dose for me?

I got both Pfizer shots. Except for a very, very minor pain in the injected arm that disappeared within 24 hours, no discomfort, no adverse reaction whatsoever. I am very happy.

Yesterday I got the first shot, and the appointment for the second one. It was super easy and smooth. DC Charter Schools made a deal with a private health provider. No side effects for me.

That SS surge just west of BKK really jacked up the exposure risk metrics for that area. Any random group of 14 people contains a carrier at a 1% probability level. Still peanuts though.

I've received both doses of the Moderna vaccine. The only side effect was about 2 days of pain at the injection site from the second dose (nothing at all from the first). I work in a pharmacy/dme supplier so all employees were vaccinated. A fair percentage of my co-workers experienced fevers, chills, upset stomachs and lethargy that lasted 24-36 hours. I know the vaccines aren't 100% foolproof but I have to admit to feeling much more comfortable and grateful now that I've had it.

    Hyaluronic Acid

Interesting video. I already use HA serum in my skin care, i alternate between HA and a vitamin C serum. I was recommended it by a friend who is a dermatologist, i just follow his advice with no knowledge on the science (i trust him not to give me bad advice and ruin my face haha). Even with my simple regime i've noticed really good results, following it morning and night for 6 months so far: 1. cleanse with a good face cleanser, dove sensitive skin soap is a cheap option that works well, 2. a couple of drops of serum on dry skin, I alternate HA and a vitamin C serum for morning. The brand 'The Ordinary' makes great reasonably priced options, 3. moisturize with a light non-oily moisturizer, 4. Sunscreen, this is a must every day to prevent damage from sun and pollutants, something light and non-oily. I like 'La Roche-Posay' because it is anti-shine and non-perfumed. I went down a path of buying the expensive brands for a while, but i honestly didn't see any benefits over the cheaper brands like The Ordinary

  11. I’ve had both of my vaccine shots. I’ll be ready to arrive the first day after they drop quarantine requirements.

  12. that's may preferred way of watching BL, not necessarily in one go or over day or two but in close sequence after all episodes are available. That way I find it easier to follow and appreciate whole plot not being distracted by other competing series. Waiting whole week for next episode of Manner of Death and now of 1000 Stars bleeds my heart

  13. IBack in Medellín for a few weeks because Canadá is really cold right now. I may update my last list of locations as there have been some changes. It is a diffent feeling here now after months of isolation and restrictions. Colombians have either gone rogue or have retreated to wait things out. Club de Tobi is gone -- a victim of the COVID19 pandemic. They could not make it work and chose not to break the quarantine rules. For those of us that remember the many masajistas that served there, it is a bitter sweet end.
