... or in the next hour or two! This morning (Monday 4th), the BMA announced the closure of restaurants for dine-in after 7pm, effective tomorrow Tuesday 5th. That was overruled by Prayuth just a few hours later and changed into no dine-in after 9pm. Chaotic? No, normal!! LOL1 point

in times like this we should do that to support small enterprise, even if pricey or less convenient . Big corporations will survive thanks to cash pot and easy access to credit or government support. Small guys can only count on themselves and us, customers.1 point

From Bangkok Post HANOI: Vietnam will start building the first phase of what will become its largest airport near its economic hub Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday, as it seeks to speed up public investment to shore up economic growth amid the coronavirus pandemic. The first phase of the Long Thanh airport in Dong Nai province will cost US$4.66 billion and will be operational from 2025, the government said in a statement on its website. It will include a 4 kilometre runway, a terminal and related facilities capable of serving 25 million passengers and handling 1.2 million tonnes of cargo a year, it said. The entire project, when fully operational, would be able to serve 100 million passengers a year and would cost $16 billion to build, according to the government. It would become a key transit hub for international passengers, the government said, adding that the existing Tan Son Nhat airport nearby in Ho Chi Minh City, which has been overloaded since 2015, will be used as a domestic airport. ======================================================= From Channel News Asia Vietnam to buy AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, in talks with other producers HANOI: Vietnam has agreed to buy 30 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine produced by AstraZeneca, the government said on Monday (Jan 4), adding that authorities are also seeking to purchase vaccines from other sources, including Pfizer. The Southeast Asian country has previously agreed to get a Russian vaccine though also said it would not rush to secure vaccine deals, citing the potential for high financial costs and after managing to contain its coronavirus outbreaks to only 1,494 cases, with 35 deaths. The AstraZeneca and Oxford University COVID-19 vaccine is cheaper than some others and can be stored at fridge temperature, which makes it easier to transport and use, particularly in developing countries. "We've already signed an agreement to guarantee the AstraZeneca vaccine for 15 million people, which is equivalent to 30 million doses," deputy health minister Truong Quoc Cuong told a government meeting. Vietnam is also in talks to purchase vaccines from Pfizer, Russia's Sputnik V and China, the deputy minister said. Cuong did not name the Chinese vaccine candidate. Cuong also said Vietnam would be eligible to buy vaccines from the World Health Organization's COVAX programme to cover 16 per cent, or 15.6 million of its almost 98 million population, but said more information would be available in the first quarter. Vietnam, which has yet to give formal regulatory approval to any vaccine, is also developing vaccines domestically. ======================================================================== From Bangkok Post Vietnam buys Indian rice for first time in decades MUMBAI/HANOI: Vietnam, the world's third biggest exporter of rice, has started buying the grain from rival India for the first time in decades after local prices jumped to their highest in nine years amid limited domestic supplies, four industry officials told Reuters. The purchases underscore tightening supplies in Asia, which could lift rice prices in 2021 and even force traditional buyers of rice from Thailand and Vietnam to switch to India - the world's biggest exporter of the grain. Indian traders have contracted to export 70,000 tonnes of 100% broken rice for January and February shipments at around $310 per tonne on a free-on-board (FOB) basis, the industry officials say. Vietnam's 5% broken rice is offered around $500-$505 per tonne, significantly higher compared to Indian prices of $381-$387. "Rice imported from India is mainly used for producing animal feeds and for breweries," said a rice trader based in Ho Chi Minh City. Dwindling supplies and continued Philippine buying lifted Vietnamese rice export prices to a fresh nine-year high.1 point

As long as boys are still working on the app, i see the closure a non issue especially when we all face similar thing back home. However, over here, some of my regular masseur stopped working when the case are high. Of course these are the ones that are lucky enough to be able to afford not working for a period of time. Others cant afford to, so they are still working, and i really hope they will stay healthy. The regular massage center here still open, with strict regulations and SOP being observed like masks in communal area, masseurs have to wear mask, face cover and gloves, and of course the app and temperature check. The illegal ones operate with closed door, and are at risk of police raid. But there are not travel restriction here, not anymore anyway, as our gov decided we cannot afford to do that anymore.1 point -
From The Thaiger In the midst of a new wave of Covid-19 infections, Thailand will get 2 million vaccine doses from China’s Sinovac Biotech. The first batch of 200,000 doses will arrive next month, according to the Public Health Ministry. Another 800,000 doses will arrive in March and the last order of 1 million doses will arrive in April. Since the outbreak last month at a Samut Sakhon seafood market, Thailand health officials have been racing to curb the spread of the virus. Thailand’s first wave of infections peaked at 1,451 active cases back in April when strict lockdown measures and travel restrictions were in place nationwide. The country now has 4,022 active Covid-19 cases. The Thai company Siam Bioscience is in the process of producing AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine which was developed in partnership with Oxford University. That vaccine is planned to be available to the public in May. The Thai government set a goal to vaccinate half of the population, around 33 million people, by the end of the year.1 point

I started it today and must say not only I agree with all written above but even understand some who claimed that it was best BL series of 2020 as it looks extremely promising after 1st episode. Have box of Kleenexes handy just in case. it looks like full loop from best friends to enemies to lovers without being too sentimental. Young actors are good, able to create few great moments of smiling through the tears. Too bad they are not more hunky , like Max and Tul but one can't have it all I guess.;1 point

It is a good name and I did think since everyone loved Rentboy that Boytoy would be the same. It wasn't. I can assure you that they will never had any stake and the site will continue. It is not about making money but about a true passion for me. Correct. It would not be allowed and I would report anyone who posted it. It certainty was not my desire to make you feel vandalized. And, I do sincerely apologize for this. But, it is not just 40 photos. They always state "and any other" which could lead down a tough pathway. It is not only time and labor but how quick things are done. Anything not removed fast, you are liable for damages. Not a risk worth taking. Yes, I agree. My hats off to them! I love the Asian guys as well! We will see. But, an open forum allows for so much more. True. But, that is just some appreciate it. To be fully appreciative, links to them work. In one thread that was mostly from Tumbler (I think) there were over 80 images that were removed by the owner due to cc issues. That is not in the 40 I got notice from. Agree if done the right way for sure. Thank you all for your comments. I know there are hurt feelings, confusion, and uncertainty. All I can say is that the photos are an issue and I solved that problem in the best way I could. Also, I am assure you that the I'll continue to work to grow the forum and the board and try to make it even better than before. Try is all I can do.1 point

What The Fuck Is Trump Doing?
lookin reacted to RockHardNYC for a topic
It appears to be true. It's too bad we didn't have a smarter, more effective leader at the helm to guide this misguided disaster. Flying in and out of Italy is a serious challenge, too, if you don't have dual citizenship. We in NYC often say how grateful we are to be here. We feel a sense of solidarity, especially in my neighborhood. It almost feels like post 9/11. Many people are looking out for one another. I don't believe this is true at all. Important experiments can hit snags, and they need to be worked through. No different than any creative idea with merit. I agree that the threat of Trumpism will haunt us for awhile. We're about to see how dark life can get. Many of us share the same despair, not only for Americans, but for other internationals as well. Other countries may not have the gun violence we have, but their suffering in other aspects is very real.1 point -
Although having no personal experience to offer (now stuck in Farangland), I thought it could interest some to know more about this place. This is information I gathered from some webboard and twitter reviews (though you never know whether these reviews are genuine or "suggested" by the shop owner !) Name : Big Hands Massage Location : 1390 soi Chan Muang 10 - Din Daeng District - Bangkok (behind Train Night Market Ratchada) How to get there : MRT subway to Thailand Cultural Center - exit 4 - walk along RS Tower, cross the canal and then go northward through the market ; soi Chan Muang 10 is the first soi you will cross after going out of the market (no sign, better to have a look at Google Maps before as finding one's bearings could be challenging especially at night when the market is in full swing) Opening hours : 11.00 > 24.00 Updates and information : they have Facebook, Twitter and Line accounts (search "Big Hands Massage") - twitter and line accounts updated almost daily ; many pictures but thai language only Prices : oil 1,5 hours 550 THB (september 2020) - minimum tip 500 for soft and 800 for hard which is rather low Reviews summary : the shop opened in September 2020 and is kept very tidy - most rooms don't have in-room shower - 12/15 quite good-looking boys on duty - some boys in the buff from the beginning - most put emphasis on post-massage activities ("soft" or "hard", depending on boy) All in all seems to be an interesting place worth the trouble finding one's way to check it out.1 point

From Bangkok Post Nopparat Boonrat shows his silver medal at the FISU World University Cheerleading Championship in Poland in 2018. (Photo supplied) BURI RAM: Police summonsed three young men aged 20-23 for allegedly assaulting a native of this northeastern province, a man renowned as a dancer and who received an award at an international cheerleading championship. Police planned to charge the three -- whose names were withheld -- with severely injuring Nopparat Boonrat, 23, at a restaurant in Lahan Sai district last Wednesday night. Police at Ban Kruad station said that two of the three suspects had just been released from jail after committing drug offences. The victim is a student at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and was the first runner-up in the Hip Hop Doubles competition at FISU World University Cheerleading Championship in Poland in 2018. He has previously performed dance routines for many famous singers. A group of about five men reportedly attacked the man as he was eating at the restaurant with his elder brother. He was kicked, punched and repeatedly hit in the head with bottles and a chair. His skull was cracked. The victim was admitted to Buriram Hospital, where he was awaiting brain scans. He was able to speak and eat but was suffering from a headache. On Saturday, his mother Kanchana Puwonpa, 40, said in tears that Mr Nopparat returned from Bangkok to visit his family and she did not know why he was assaulted by strangers. She said she was worried that her son may not be able to dance again.0 points
