  1. From Bangkok Post Twitter suspends royalist account linked to influence campaign Twitter has suspended a pro-royalist account linked to the palace that a Reuters analysis found was connected to thousands of others created in recent weeks spreading posts in favour of His Majesty the King and the monarchy. The Reuters review found tens of thousands of tweets that an expert said appeared to be from accounts amplifying royalist messaging in a push to counter a months-long protest movement that has swelled from opposing the government to breaking a longstanding taboo by challenging the monarchy. Internal army training documents reviewed by Reuters showed evidence of a coordinated information campaign designed to spread favourable information and discredit opponents. The pro-monarchy @jitarsa_school account was suspended after Reuters sought comment on Wednesday from Twitter on the recent royalist campaign on the social media platform, where protesters have long had a strong presence. Created in September, the @jitarsa_school account had more than 48,000 followers before its suspension. "The account in question was suspended for violating our rules on spam and platform manipulation," a Twitter representative said on Sunday. She said the suspension was in line with the company's policies and not a result of the Reuters request for comment.

  2. The whole response written with brilliant Kesslar dry wit. Why is there no emoji for clapping hands in this software? Steven, you possess far more patience (and humor) than most anyone I know. Lifelong Republican, Chris Krebs, appointed by the Orange Orangutan and then fired by the Orange Orangutan, gave his first TV interview on 60 Minutes yesterday, post firing. I'm confident most of the Trump cult did not see the interview because they're still hurt and angry at the way poor, old, petite Jew, Leslie Stahl, treated their dear FAILED leader. I'm sure Stahl is somehow related to Alinsky, since all Jews look alike. "When Krebs said the 2020 election was the country's most secure ever, Mr. Trump fired him."

  3. It's gotta hurt for Trump to hear a Jew, Saul Alinsky, was behind the vote count fraud, especially when he has always stood by Jewish guys as the most trusted for doing the counting at his casinos. Today's WAPO article on Trump's voter fraud craziness includes a clip from Fox where Trump claims the FBI should be investigating how many dead people voted, but they (the FBI) "are probably in on it". I hope there is a way to make Trump pay for all this. He is a nasty man, IMO. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/11/30/cybersecurity-202-chris-krebs-fiercely-defends-election-while-president-trumps-attacks-it-get-weirder/

  7. Muito Obrigado for writing and sharing your adventures and time while in the "Marvelous City." You keenly and clearly brought us into your trip and made for some good reading and vicarious experiencing. ...hope the world will see a vast change by the spring of 2021 or a little time afterwards so that all of us who've been "climbing the walls," so-to-speak, can begin to board planes and experience "the world" once again but under different conditions. I will continue to read your blog and Twitter and your posts here. I will also continue to support and enjoy Rhyheim's Only Fans along with one or two other guys he's supporting by encouraging them to have Only Fans pages as well. Again, thanks, Latinbear 4 Blk. 8. It is fascinating being in Bangkok right now. I am no where near the center of the city and yet I see protests on a regular basis near my condo. It is very odd to see. They are all peaceful that I see and I hear them from my window and open up and see thousands in the streets with motorcycles beeping their horns and protesters marching peacefully.

  9. David called last night but I had already set myself to be alone with Diego. I wanted to sleep alone my last night, and I thought it would be a good idea to give him my undivided attention, so we would not feel offended when I kick him out. When he woke up from his long nap, we ordered from Uber Eats, and had one of our warm bad sex sessions. I wish I were a bottom, he is a great kisser and his hard on is ever lasting. After having diner we hugged and kissed for a long time. I gave him an extra tip, and he asked me for my bluetooth speakers. He loved that little speaker, 20 bucks in amazon. When I was with another guy, he would sleep listening to music with that speaker under the sheets. I wonder why he prefers that rather than earphones. We had had several arguments because he would contaminate public spaces with his loud music (He tried to use them in Abricó and in the condo swimming pool). I deeply dislike when others force me to listen to their music, and I would not allow him to do that. Of course, I gave him the speakers, I only use them for traveling. After his tip and his speakers, another long session of kissing and hugging, and I was finally alone. It was way passed midnight, and I immediately fell asleep. Well, no immediately. During this week I had not changed the sheets. About 5 men had shared them with me. While I was feeling asleep, cuddled by the ocean music, I got to smell the mix of all of them. It was a delicious perfume, and I had the sweetest dreams. This morning I checked out at 10am, and moved to Rhyheim’s house in Leblon. I was considering a programa with Carlos Maranhão, but he was at his hotel and did not have the chance. We just relaxed and chilled with the ones in the house, until they went to the beach at 4pm and left me alone. I did not want to join them, I like to be early in the airports because I get anxious and stressed before traveling. At 6 my Uber took me to Galeão. The pandemic is more visible in this Brazilian airport than in the ones I used in the USA. I did not have to do any lines. I was the only one checking through security. When I arrived to passports check, all the agents would call me, I think they were running some kind of competition. I chose the closest one. In one minute I was walking through empty lounges and closed shops. I spent some of my Rials left overs in the duty free shop, and for the first time I had to do a line. One woman was before me. Only two gates were operational, so everyone traveling was gathering in this area. We were two flights, and yet I was able to choose an extra comfortable seating after grabbing my last Brazilian snack (which of course included pão de queijo). The flight was only half full, and was one of my best ones ever. I did not have anyone seated next to me, so I slept 8 hours uninterruptedly. We landed in Houston 30’ earlier. It was 7 and the airport looks even emptier than when I was going the other way. No lines for security check, again. Soon I will be boarding my last flight to DC, so this is my last “life” report. From now on, I will only post links to the reports published in my blog. The contrast is astonishing. I left a colorful and sunny Rio, the States welcomed me with a grey and rainy Houston.

From The Thaiger Ron Howard to direct cave rescue feature film ‘Thirteen Lives’ in Australia The Australian Government is putting up A$13 million to Imagine Entertainment and film giant MGM to shoot a live-action feature film called Thirteen Lives, based on the Chiang Rai Tham Luang cave rescue story. The film will be shot in Queensland, Australia in the hinterland areas behind the Gold Coast. The film will be directed by Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, The Da Vince Code, Cocoon, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Splash, Frost/Nixon), and start filming in March 2021. The state’s Gold Coast hinterland will double for Thailand with a similar hot, humid climate. The Australian Minister for Communications, Cyber Safety and the Arts, Paul Fletcher MP, says the production ishould inject more than A$96 million into the Australian economy, “directly creating around 435 jobs for cast and crew”.

  11. From The Nation No end in sight as both sides refuse to shift their stance Thai politics has arrived at a dead end as neither side shows any sign of stepping away from the tug-of-war they have been playing for nearly five months. Analysts say the dispute between the powers-that-be and the anti-establishment movement will be prolonged, with no reconciliation in sight. Some don’t rule out the possibility of a coup as the last resort, though others predict that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will stay in power until his term ends in 2023. The anti-establishment movement has been rallying since July, demanding that Prayut and his government step down, the junta-endorsed Constitution be rewritten and the monarchy reformed. They are escalating their protests to a point of no return and “shattering the ceiling” by challenging the monarchy, observers say. Analysts have proposed non-violent routes out of the conflict, such as peace talks, but each side has refused because the stakes are too high for both. Moves to set up a reconciliation committee are also likely to fail, as protesters have boycotted the panel. Many observers now warn of possible clashes and violence if the student-led protesters refuse to lower their demands, especially their call for monarchy reforms. There is also concern that if things get out of control, the government will impose martial law or even be ousted by the Army. Yuthaporn Issarachai, a political scientist from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, says the escalation of protests brings an increasing likelihood of violent clashes and bloodshed. The potential for serious violence was seen soon after protesters began dispersing on Wednesday (November 25), when two men were shot and critically wounded, though the shooting’s connection to the rally remains unclear. The rally for monarchy reform was being held outside the headquarters of Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district. His Majesty the King is the major shareholder in the bank. A week earlier, more than 50 demonstrators sustained injuries, including six with gunshot wounds, during a rally outside Parliament on November 17, when police directed water cannon and tear gas at protesters and skirmishes broke out between royalists and pro-democracy protesters – the first major clash between the two rival sides. Yuthaporn fears that clashes and the PM’s vow to enforce “all pertaining laws” may lead to a “severe” state of emergency, followed by martial law and finally a military coup. He said a coup would be a last resort if clashes between royalists and anti-establishment protesters cause massive injuries and even deaths. The pundit believes a military takeover is a real possibility, given Thailand does not have an established democracy and the Army’s structure leaves the door open for a putsch. However, it would only make things worse, he added. “Staging a coup may be the last resort [to solve the stalemate], but it won’t end the political crisis. Instead it will intensify the situation, as protesters have made it clear they won’t accept a coup or national unity government,” Yuthaporn said.

  12. Glad to update that Arena is still around, though a shadow of its former self. Went during the afternoon and there were only 4 to 5 masseurs around. Luckily, one of them was my type and maybe cos lack of business, the masseur seemed horny even before the massage, grabbing my ass as we walked up to the room. Unsurprisingly, he fucked me after massaging me for only 30 minutes. It was supposed to be a 1 hour massage but since the sex was good, I didn't mind and tipped him as usual.

  14. These boys in the thai series are all neat and tidy, smartly dressed and good-mannered, mostly coming from well-off hi-so families. Seems to me that Interesting scenarii could be written as well about behind the scene moh-lam concert stories in Nakhon Nowhere or romantic gossip in Sticksburi technical college. Give me rough lads / camp boys from isan or northern at any time !

  16. fine but I sense big dose of selfishness in such a statement. While reducing overpopulation is noble undertaking doing this by getting infected or infecting others with potentially deadly disease is not a way we should go about this. Throwing oneself from Rama VIII bridge does the same trick without inconveniencing others and fish will have their fill as a side benefit

  18. It is absolute LUNACY that one man has captivated, and is being allowed to hold an entire country, over 300 million TAX paying people HOSTAGE... Any many of these people are being allowed to DIE because the Covid crisis is being stonewalled by Trump and his administration. Our government should not allow this. Trump is not even a politician. He's a criminal and con man. How can this be happening ? This scumbag needs to be dragged away in handcuffs kicking and screaming "but I WON" !!!!!! It does not seem we are living in Democratic America... it seems more like Communist Russia.

  19. Couldn't agree more, OZ. I've never felt that Black Lives Matter means that white lives don't matter. What it's always meant to me is that black lives seem not to have mattered in the past and now it's time that they do. As far as I can tell, those who hear Black Lives Matter and then parrot All Lives Matter or White Lives Matter are folks with a zero-sum viewpoint. They think that, if a black life matters more, then a white life must matter less. Personally, I don't believe that's true, nor have I ever been a fan of zero-sum thinking. Like our President, I enjoy making deals but, unlike our President, I don't enjoy zero-sum deals where, in order for me to win, the other person has to lose. Maybe that's what his life experiences have taught him but it's sure not what my life experiences have taught me. I've found that, if I've got a deal where the other person is a loser, there's still more work to do. A deal where there's a loser is unstable. The "loser" is going to be unhappy and will be looking for a do-over at best and revenge at worst. Much better for both parties to end up with a smile on their face. For me, it's always been a matter of increasing the size of the pie so that both parties get a bigger slice. It may take a little more work, but it's well worth the effort. Even if it takes a lot more work, it's well worth the effort. Who wants to be surrounded by disgruntled colleagues? And even if I come out of a deal with a little bit less than I otherwise might, it's worth it to have partners who are content and who will look forward to doing another deal in the future. My white self has certainly got enough privilege throughout my life that I can afford to get by with a little less in the future so that my black partner can get a better deal than he has in the past. The payoff of mutual support, stability and, inshallah, friendship is well worth any conceivable shift in the balance. More than dislike of those who believe that a zero-sum deal is the only kind there is, I'm saddened that their life experiences have given them a win-lose mindset. My hope is that life will be kinder to them in the future. And that they will be kinder and more generous to others.

I came across this today on ESPN. It reminds me that of all the bad news that dominate the headlines, news of the 13 footballers never fails to lift my spirits. Can't think of better ambassadors of good will for Thailand. From ESPN (Jan. 5) The Wild Boars football team, whose rescue from the Tham Luang Nang Non cave last year captured the imagination of the world, will be at the Al Nahyan Stadium supporting their country, as special guests of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). On Saturday, three of them were taken on a guided tour of the stadium and spoke to the press while being shown around. Coach Eakapol 'Ek' Jantawong spoke for his boys, describing the trip as a unique opportunity to cheer for their team. "It's their goal and dream to be professional footballers one day," he said. "Coming here, and being here, they feel that one day they too will be playing for Thailand and playing against the best in Asia." Titan, the shortest of the boys, is a forward and a huge Lionel Messi fan. His coach likes Messi too, as does midfielder Tee. Adul, who likes to play on the right wing, is the only one to idolise Cristiano Ronaldo. Not surprisingly, he's also the only Juventus fan among Barcelona buffs. In the pre-match press conference, India coach Stpehen Constantine had mentioned how Thailand's front four players interchange positions a lot, and the key player is likely to be Japan-based attacking midfielder Songkrasin Chanathip. Titan smiles when asked about his favourite Thai player. "I like all the players, but if I had to pick one, it would be "Jay" Chanathip," he says. And do they think India has a chance of beating their favourite team? There's polite laughter, though most of it is just the joy of having overcome what they did last summer and living their dream by seeing their heroes in action. http://www.espn.com/soccer/afc-asian-cup/story/3743382/thailand-find-unlikely-support-from-cave-boys-ahead-of-afc-asian-cup-opener-vs-india?
