A Walk Around Gay Bangkok - November 21, 2020

I have lived in Pattaya for nine years now, and recently spent five nights in Bangkok so will add a little to this report. The new "Pride" bar in Soi 4 was really doing well, busy every night, with live music which was not deafening. The small "Connections" bar/karaoke place opposite was also doing well. I still feel loyal to Telephone Bar which I remember from my earliest visits to Thailand 22 years ago, when they still had those ancient telephones on each table and you could call over to another table if you felt like chatting to someone. I visited Patpong too, and sat at the outside bar opposite Dream Boys, just watching the world go by, and of course watching the young gentlemen arriving to work in the bars. Went into Dream Boys for the show, with about ten other customers. A good show culminating in the big cock show, with about nine taking part and looking very proud of their significant appendages. It must be hard work to keep that up with so few customers. The next night into Jupiter 2018 on Soi 4, where the show was also great, even a little more professional in their choreography, though no big cock show, but all the young men look like models, so handsome and muscular. Customers about fourteen or so. A great show, and where I sat I had a good view of the corner where the chaps do their exercise, pulling weights and so forth. That helps too! My last night I spent in the front of Telephone Bar sipping a bottle of cheap champagne, relaxing and watching people come and go, still a great atmosphere, but I do look forward (as I am sure the business owners do!) to the return of the big crowds. I might even treat myself to a better bottle of the bubbly to celebrate that! Hopefully by the middle of next year when the vaccine has been distributed across Thailand. For now I remain grateful for how well Thailand has dealt with the pandemic.8 points -
Rio de Janeiro - Thanksgiving 2020

Brazil always does the same to me. My trips start weak, and by the middle of my time here Joy hits me and I do not want to leave. Yesterday, when Diego arrived, we visited Praia do Abricó, the nudist, naturist beach in between Praia do Secreto and Grumari. The day was sunny and hot, and the locals went to the beach en mass. In my first visit to this beautiful beach more than one year ago, the place was almost empty, with no beach service. This time was relatively crowded (do not think of Copacabana or Ipanema beaches crowded) and it was hard to take pictures and video without violating others’ privacy. Taking pictures or filming with no authorization is actually forbidden, but the dwellers appreciated how careful I was and seemed to even have fun with my amateur clumsiness and Diego’s hotness. Cruising was intense, and hard dicks in open exposition were everywhere. I do not find sexy to have sex in public outdoors, so we only noticed the traffic parading to the corners where a combination of forest and rocks would provide shadow (sun was strong) and shelter to play. Some of the guys I saw were Instagram hot. I will publish a report with pics once I am back to my wifi. Getting there was easy. In my previous trip I was staying in Copa and the uber was about 60’. This time we make it in 15’, Recreio dos Bandeirantes is very close. The challenge was not getting there but returning. We had the same problem our first time. Abricó is located in an area almost out of the grid, and the Uber app does not work well. Back then, we just paid a taxi. Yesterday I forgot my wallet and had to be patient to catch an Uber. Three trips were cancelled after waiting for almost 10’ each. Out fourth attempt was successful, a driver was nearby at Grumari. Do not make my mistake if you go (and you should, the area is a natural paradise), make sure some cash is in your pocket. I am not sure how reliable the beach service is. In my first visit there was none. Yesterday they were renting chairs and umbrellas and selling food and drinks. What did not change is the restaurant at the entrance, a standard good restaurant much, muuuuuch better than any kiosk offering food and beverages by the beach. After a few pics and a couple of hours of just enjoying ourselves, plus the 30’ waisted calling for an Uber, we returned home to get ready for Pointe. I had promised the friend @BryBro that would show up, and at 6 Diego and I were in our way. Our Uber needed 60’ to get to Pointe, about 60 Rials. Las November 117 had scored some points and deciding which one was my favorite sauna was then difficult, although Pointe won. This time, it is easy. I LOVED POINTE LAST NIGHT. It was almost no different than pre-pandemic times in matters of high energy, and friendly socializing party mood. I guess the concentration in the main floor helps a lot. Many boys of all sizes and shades, and many clients. The ratio was probably 1/1, and the crowd was bigger than 117 last night. I usually do not drink alcohol in saunas, but this trip I tried my favorite Brazilian drink, caipirinha. I drunk three in 117 and I was slightly tipsy. Last night I also drunk 3, but I was quite tipsy after the second one. One more point for Pointe. My first boy was Pedro, 23 y.o. He looked White Latino to me, he told me that in Brazil he is considered Moreno. Who cares. I had seen him in 117 but did not catch my attention because he is conventionally beautiful, and I usually prefer guys with some alternative touch. However, last night he headed on me and seduced me with his talk. The sex was great, he has a big dick and his erection was solid all along our interaction. I know that a flaccid dick in a bottom does not mean that he is not feeling it, but I do like it much more when their dicks are solid wood while I am eating and digging them. Great kisser, great bottom, great lover. He asked me for 200 and I did not argued. He does not have a phone but gave me his IG and we agreed on trying to connect today. He did call me this morning, but I am all taken for the day (my man of the day just left to the gym) and rescheduled for tomorrow. You will not see any pictures of him, he did not allow me to take any and we will not do it tomorrow either. As soon as I walked out of the cabin and sat back in the bar to order my second caipirinha (remember that we were hanging out with @BryBro), I saw one of the two guys I had liked last night at 117. David, 23 y.o.. This one’s was the kind of beauty that does drive me crazy. He is my height, the kind of racial mix that you may find in North Africa, perfect lean muscular body and sexy face. Plus, he speaks English and Spanish. We started talk and did not waste time. He kidnaped me to another cabin saying that I would pay him 100 if the sex was not good, 200 if I was happy. I skip the details, I paid 200. After a great session, we hang out in the bar. I had dropped Diego in another client’s house from our Uber to Pointe, and he texted me that he had the keys for the airbnb, and was in his way to join us. I had seen a third boy I wanted to try, but he had vanished. It was relatively late, almost 10. The show was going on, several drag queens also much better than the ones I had enjoyed last night at 117. We just hang out in the bar with David. Soon Diego joined us, and Christopher, the boy who speaks Spanish with no accent I met at 117 also joined. We went for a cigarette upstairs (I smoke in Brazil, otherwise I would not fully enjoy kissing, they all seem to be smokers) and also Emerson joined us. He is a branquinho quite cute who had tried to have a programa with me earlier on. The sauna staff was kicking us out, so we decided to go to my place after getting some weed. According to Diego (when I am with him I know I am safe and protected), David has access to the best weed in RJ. Uber fits only three. We said goodbye to Christopher and Emerson, and headed to David’s place, at the favela in Vidigal, nearby Leblon. It was my first time in a favela, and I was impressed. I would not live in a Buenos Aires favela, their poverty is heartbreaking and scaring. This favela looked like a working class neighborhood. I could live there. David picked up a bag to his stuff and we headed home. Diego was right, his weed has nothing to envy to the premium product we smoke in the USA. We order pizza, chatted, played and smoke. Diego would not join us, but walk around with his dick hard while David and I were playing. We had sex two more times. We fucked standing next to our table while Diego was in the shower and we were waiting for Uber Eats. We ate our pizza, and now David was the one who get to the shower. Diego asked me for massages. I loved massaging beautiful bodies like him. Soon David joined us and I was hopeful we would have a threesome. However, Diego moved discretely to the other bedroom. He is signing a professional soccer contract today and needed to get up at 5. We had our last session with David, and fell asleep. He is IG beautiful and is interested in doing pictures, you will see more of him. This morning, the alarm woke me up at 5, I did not trust Diego would get up by himself and he has an important contract to sign. I made sure he was in the move and went back to bed. David seems to have a very heavy sleeping, he did not wake up. Then I was woke up again by Pedro’s call, and we rescheduled our appointment as I am spending the day with David and later on Diego will join us. Diego washed all the dishes before leaving, and David cooked breakfast when we finally get it out of bed. We did not have sex, fortunately. I need to recover my strength. After having breakfast together, he took a shower and went to the gym. I am writing this report enjoying a brief moment of solitude after my morning shower. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!3 points -
Numazu says: "I was not particularly horny but what the hell right? " Numazu, what I wonder is how you get your stamina. You clearly like to have a lot of sex, good for you, but do you ever just say no, I am not horny, so no hookup? Even when I was younger I could not have kept the pace that you seem to. So I really do wonder. No obligation to answer, but if you would...thanks!2 points

I am devastated and truly saddened that my dearest sister and forum member MsAnn (also known as BigValboy) has passed away... My heart breaks. A longtime contributing member here and "there", she was always kind and supportive of ME no matter how difficult things got on the boards with other members or Daddy, and always brought a smile to my with with her kind words of encouragement... I never got to meet him, but we had planned it several times, but the comraderie we shared will not be forgotten. Often WE were spoken about in the same breath by other members and referred to as the Laverne and Shirley of the boards... He hated Trump as much as i did, so I am glad that at least he saw Trump get "Fired".... Rest in Peace my dear friend. It was a privilege to know you....1 point

I suppose it's comforting to know that I'm not the only one separated from my (distant) family this Thanksgiving. (I refuse to sit at a table with Trump apologists.) Maureen Dowd has long made public her rift with fellow family members over Trump. Today, she gives her column to her brother Kevin (seated center), who wrote in praise of Trump. It's a fascinating, intelligent read. Oh, Brother! Tears for Trump (Love the headline.) The Comments section on the opinion piece is just as fascinating, and those numbers are growing. This early comment from a Nevada psychiatrist, The Pessimistic Shrink, jumped out to me: "I am telling Kevin that he and his millions do not feel what they think they feel. Love is not angry. It does not minimize entire ethnic groups. It does not admire a sociopath who likely never had a kind or giving thought in his head. You cannot simply say a word and make it so." AMEN!1 point -
@Adam4muscle, Dude....... cut the crap already ! EVERYONE (except Trump cultists) have decried the Election to be FAIR, without tampering or Fraud. He LOST by a Landslide, live with it..... now go sulk for the next 4 years like WE had to do when Trump won.... there is absolutely NO way to defend Trump here, and his behavior is Despicable and Anti-American, or as HE would call it...TREASONOUS ! The time of Trump getting HIS way and getting away with it HAS ENDED !!!!!1 point

Z909 That picture taken from the Classroom balcony is torturing me, in excise in dark cold locked down England. What I see is sunshine and blue sky and a view of the darker blue of the warm tropical sea. Worst of all you mention you mention a naked boyfriend walking on the balcony. A sign I see reads “short time long time” - Anytime with a Pattaya boy would would would be heaven for me just now !.1 point -
From the BBC Culture / Books Section Yukio Mishima: The strange tale of Japan’s infamous novelist This photograph – taken a few days before his death – shows Mishima with his loyal cadets (Credit: Getty Images) By Thomas Graham Standing on a balcony, as if on stage, the small, immaculate figure appeals to the army assembled below. The figure is Yukio Mishima, real name Kimitake Hiraoka. He was Japan’s most famous living novelist when, on 25 November 1970, he went to an army base in Tokyo, kidnapped the commander, had him assemble the garrison, then tried to start a coup. He railed against the US-backed state and constitution, berated the soldiers for their submissiveness and challenged them to return the Emperor to his pre-war position as living god and national leader. The audience, at first politely quiet, or just stunned into silence, soon drowned him out with jeers. Mishima stepped back inside and said: “I don’t think they heard me.” Then he knelt down and killed himself by seppuku, the Samurai’s ritual suicide. Mishima’s death shocked the Japanese public. He was a literary celebrity, a macho and provocative but also rather ridiculous character, perhaps akin to Norman Mailer in the US, or Michel Houellebecq in today’s France. But what had seemed to be posturing had suddenly become very real. It was the morning of the opening of the 64th session of the Diet, Japan’s parliament, and the Emperor himself was present. The prime minister’s speech on the government agenda for the coming year was somewhat overshadowed. No one had died by seppuku since the last days of World War Two. In 1949, Mishima arrived on Japan’s literary scene with Confessions of a Mask, a kind of autobiography, thinly veiled as a novel, that made him famous in his early twenties. It tells the story of a delicate, sensitive boy who is all but held captive by his grandmother. She is ill and he is made to nurse her. Rather than playing outside with other boys, he is confined with her for years in the sickly-sweet smelling darkness of her bedroom. The boy’s mind develops in that room. Fantasy and reality are never quite separated; fantasy, the stronger twin, grows dominant. By the time the grandmother dies and the boy emerges, he has developed a fixation with roleplaying, with life as theatre. He cannot resist layering fantasies over life around him. Men and boys, especially muscular, straightforward ones, are assigned roles in his vivid, often violent daydreams. Meanwhile he obsesses over his own deviance and appearing normal. He learns how to play his own role: “The reluctant masquerade had begun.” Confessions of a Mask continues up to the end of the boy’s adolescence, detailing the entwined evolution of his internal and external lives and his homosexual awakening. In many ways, it is the key to understanding Mishima’s later life and works. It reveals the roots of the aesthetic sensibility, so tied to his sexuality, which proved to be Mishima’s steering obsession. The narrator writes that he “sensuously accepted the creed of death that was popular during the war”, when conscription and self-sacrifice seemed certain and imminent, and indeed Mishima was forever fixated on the idea that beauty is most beautiful when it is transient – and above all on the cusp of destruction. This creed mingles with admiration for the male form, a form the frail narrator lacks, to produce fantasies of brave warriors and their bloody demises. This private world of “Night and Blood and Death” was filled with the “most sophisticated of cruelties and the most exquisite of crimes”, all recounted with a cool detachment. I can't see many fish surviving in that stretch of water. We've had this discussion before. What I want, or what you want is not the issue. The fact is that gay Thais i(n particular) ae still dying of hiv infections and it behoves us to help stop the spread. It's a bit like wearing face masks today, even if we find them uncomfortable.1 point

Diego is delayed doing errands. I am having extra time to enjoy the terrace and finally wrote something for the blog. A few notes with my observations after sharing several hours two days in a raw in Rhyheim’s house. I do not know whether or not I will have more time over there. The man is as unpredictable as adorable. https://ilikepinga.com/2020/11/25/from-the-backstage/1 point -
fine but I sense big dose of selfishness in such a statement. While reducing overpopulation is noble undertaking doing this by getting infected or infecting others with potentially deadly disease is not a way we should go about this. Throwing oneself from Rama VIII bridge does the same trick without inconveniencing others and fish will have their fill as a side benefit1 point

From The Nation Solution fired at protesters contained 4 types of tear gas A sample of the solution police fired at pro-democracy protesters on Tuesday has tested positive for four different chemicals which burn the eyes and skin. Riot police fired the solution from water cannons at Kiak Kai Intersection, during a confrontation with protesters who were seeking to rally outside Parliament on the first day of charter-change deliberations. Protesters and journalists hit by the solution suffered stinging eyes and skin, as well as breathing problems. Many needed hospital treatment. On Friday, Weerachai Phutdhawong, a Kasetsart University chemistry professor, announced results of his analysis of a sample of the solution used on Tuesday. The results showed five chemicals, as well as a dye that turned the solution purple. The five substances were dimethyl sulfoxide, 2-Chlorobenzaldehyde, 2-Chlorobenzyl alcohol, 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile, and o-Chlorobenzylmalononitrile. The first in the list was a solvent for the chemical mixture, said Weerachai. The other four all belong to the tear gas group of chemicals, he said. ====================================================== From Bangkok Post 'Bad Students' gather at Siam BTS Protesters wearing dinosaur costumes try to flee from an approaching inflatable asteroid at the Bad Student rally at the Siam BTS station on Saturday. (Photo: Wichan Charoenkiatpakul) Young “Bad Student” activists gathered on Saturday beneath the Siam BTS skytrain station, a day after it was revealed that two of their teenaged leaders were facing charges for taking part in protests. The demonstrators sheltered under the skytrain platform in front of the Siam Paragon shopping centre after rain forced them to change the rally venue from the nearby Ratchaprasong intersection. Police confirmed that organisers of the rally had informed them about their activity, which was given permission to go ahead. It was expected to end around 9pm. “#Bye bye dinosaurs” was the theme of the event that was publicised on the Bad Student Facebook page. “If parliament cast in the role of ‘dinosaur’ rejects and refuses changes, students like us will be the meteorite that collides with the backwardness of senior figures in society,” another message read. “As our calls for educational reforms are being ignored, see us at the Ratchaprasong intersection on Nov 21. Students will talk about all the things the dinosaurs don’t want to hear!” In keeping with the theme, participants dressed in dinosaur costumes were being pelted by inflatable meteorites launched at them from the crowd.1 point
