My partner and I just came back from Cartagena for 5 days of sun, food, beach and relaxation... No expectations since this was my first time in Cartagena....Have been to Bogota before... Weather was amazing....Sunny and hot the whole trip until Friday as we were about to fly out... Flew out of Miami so the flight is under 3 hours...AA gave water and cookies....AND no TVs....going or coming back Apartment rate was great, 25th floor, 2 bathrooms 1 bed....pretty empty high rise right on the beach... THE BEACHES...the beaches in the city near the apartment were dirty, you had to make a reservation and they were limiting the number of people on the beach THE BEGGING.....Shit was insane....my partner was over it after about 30 minutes of getting our feet wet, I was over it before we even go into the sections off area... We didn't look like we had a ton of money but we got harassed and offered everything from shirts, hats, yayo (cocaine), weed, girls/pussy, bracelets...etc. Beach was a wrap...We finally realized the beaches we should have traveled to but it was like Thursday....a day before we left out The food was amazing......Fried fish, coconut rice, tostones...we found a restaurant with amazing reviews and ate there about 3 times....we found a french inspired La Bistro for breakfast.....it was amazing....No street food The guys....NONE to be had....my apps were going off but nothing was my type like in Rio so didn't invite any locals over... The city overall had very few tourists around and the locals were definitely trying to sell any and everything to us... Around the Watch/Clock Tower is where all the prostitutes tend to hang out....no hot guys there either... Old City was beautiful...picturesque and pretty big.... Overall the trip was a great getaway and I would try Cartagena again when things have died down with Covid...

Hong Kong Airlines is still in business and indeed a division of Hainan. Must be hurting as a result of the pandemic. HK Express is a separate airline and was acquired by Cathay Pacific last year. It is very much a low cost carrier. I suspect Cathay Pacific management that the view that they just need one full service airline and one low cost. Cathay Dragon sat between the two and the can now reallocate routes to Cathay Pacific or HK Express dependent on demand, revenue, business v leisure etc.

Mr Jatupat said he had little hope that the crisis could be resolved in Parliament, and protesters would continue their peaceful demonstrations.

Protesters mass at the Ratchaprasong intersection From The Thaiger Crowds are gathering at the Ratchprsong intersection in Bangkok, one of the promised locations for a rally in response to last night’s refusal of the Thai PM to resign. The crowd is building along Ratchdamri Road, in front of Central World. Banners are being prepared on site with demands for the Thai prime minister’s resignation and other calls for action. Messages on one of the banners read “We are the people”, “Everyone is a leader”, “Thailand is for the people”, “Police should protect the people”. Yes I would not disagree with most of the posts so far in the choice of Winner. During my last trip in February I went there from my Jomtien hotel knowing that I would find boys I like - twinks. I was not aware that Cathay Pacific played such a major role in the airline's history. I had thought it was largely independent until recently. I assume it must have had separate management. I did wonder why it added flat bed seats in its A330s. For an airline that only had regional routes, that seemed an expensive and unnecessary addition. Is Hong Kong Airlines still operating? Wasn't it a division of Hainan Airlines, a great airline but it had severe financial problems even before the pandemic. HK Airlines offered great transPacific prices.

Vessey, when you say "bars" are you referring to go-go bars and/or host bars? For me, the go-go bar to go to is Winner Bar in Sunee; there is nothing else comparable. For host bars, it is Diamond Bar in Sunee where hosts and conversation are good but sadly, at present, customers are scarce.

Part 2 from Tomcal: Part 2 Rio and SP last week! A week ago last Saturday i flew to Rio for a week and stayed in Ipanema. @sfcastroi stayed in Air B&b’s my entire trip. Onee very nice apartment beside the lighthouse in Barra(120/night). Normally they would have no issues with guest. But per the gay owner “two gay doctors from São Paulo came and had a huge drug fueled party with 20 people during Covid” which caused the building to add regulations. I had to let the owner know 24(12 really) hours in advance the guest name and I’d number. Due to Covid many apartments are noting no visitors in the house rules. It became a bit of an inconvenience so I rented another apartment beside Salvador Shopping. $30/night and very nice. The apartment would have been $70-$80/night in São Paulo. I still plan on staying in the first apartment during my next stay, despite the rules. It was absolutely stunning and a bargain at $120/night. But I’ll prob rent a second apartment for sexual activities until I find a guy I want to spend more time with. Barra was my favorite part of the city, lively but quiet at night. Many restaurants in walking distance and they were open past 10. And I felt 100% safe walking around alone well after mid night. Which a friend who lives there told me was not safe. The apartment beside Salvador Shopping was also beside a decent sized favela but it seemed very safe. It was on the 23rd floor and the guys LOVED the view. If you don’t care about staying in really nice place with a private pool and huge balcony, set your budget at no more than $40/night and you will find many great places. Others might be able to shed more light on how Salvador normally is.My experience is a bit different than others due to Covid. I hope Salvador will be back to regular form when I go in December.

I just watched episode 9. I cried like a baby. After the scarring #8, this one was sad and painful. Definitely, my favorite show this year so far and by far. The only thing where I find anything to improve is some of the acting. But it is not a distraction when the story is so well narrated and the content is so meaningful and engaging.

I have insomnia, so I figured I would give you all the update on Salvador. I flew from Rio to Salvador with LATAM for about $60, booking the ticket five days in advance. I stayed for a little more than two weeks. I stayed in Barra, Rio Vermelho, and Caminho das arvores. Barra was the best location, with bars and restaurants everywhere. CDA was also a good area for food, but it’s not close to anything. RV is a beach neighborhood and has good food as well. I visited five saunas while in Salvador, 4 with made for GP, and one not. All five had GP working. I first went to Club 11, which was by far the only sauna worth going to. While I was there, I made good friends with some of the drag queens. One DQ in particular, I hung out with a lot during my trip. He owns a modeling agency and opened the gate to an entirely different Salvador than what the sauna could offer. I was invited to one of their shoots, where I met some of the most beautiful black men and women around! I came out of that making many good friends. It’s nothing like SP, where you have to introduce yourself to a GP. I don’t like how laid back the GP are at Lagoa; it’s the opposite in Salvador. I love the staff at 11 and the boys. Signus, this sauna is around the corner from the street with all the gay clubs. I went on bingo night when “The Queen of the gays” hosted. It’s a blue house that has a bar, stage, outdoor shower, and rooms. Programs here are 50r. Nothing nice about this place, but the drinks were STRONG and CHEAP! There were a few boys there, but none were my type. I was told that before COVID, the house would be full of guys! Fox, I went here 3 times, and each time it was empty. With no more than 4-5 GP and 4-5 customers. Uber is extremely cheap, so it would cost less than $5 going between clubs despite their distance. 13, this club was also empty. 4 GP and 5 customers. None of the guys were my type. The boys did not get naked and everyone wore a mask. I only went here once. Once we left the club we went to the beach down the street. The beach was LIT! It had many young gays outside drinking and having a good time. I was taken in as the token black American. I was repeatedly told this is NOT something a gringo should do alone but I a was with a friend and felt extremely safe. Side note black people in Salvador are very similar to black ppl in the American south. We feel the same way about white people (really white supremacy) and the police. I didn’t need a translator to find out that we all shared similar views. Vidas negras importam was a heavy theme! I was happy to be their proxy for the movement. Sharing pictures of protest in Atl they were extremely proud of what is happening in the USA. infinit hotel sauna, I would compare this to a more traditional sauna like the ones you would find in SP. It was a hotel with a small club and gym on the bottom level. Two floors of rooms and a club on the top floor. There weren’t many people at the sauna. I was told this is also due to Covid. We only stayed for a little more than a hour then left for 11. I ended up hanging out with the friends I made most of the time. Half the beaches were open so that’s where we would go. I would provide the weed and drinks and we would just chill. At the end of the day I would go to the sauna and they would go home. I ended up going to the favelas with them which are very different than in Rio. They don’t stack high up and they are much more accessible. I would only hang out in the favela for a day, the guys liked coming to my apartment much more. I'm sure I’m forgetting a ton because of the time. But to wrap it up Salvador quickly became home to me. So much so that I plan on going back in November. Since visiting I don’t feel the need to go back to Rio and I definitely don’t feel the need to ever go back to SP.

In thinking about the debate, and Trumps performance some more, I came to realize that he had a plan and strategy which was quite ingenius.... He actted crazy, made some fictional claims and said some outrageous, shocking shit. Some are calling him unhinged.... I say, for Trump, he was Smart.... NOONE is talking about his tax fraud today (which is a major, ongoing issue for him) or his Supreme Court robbery. Instead of focusing on what a crook and scumbag he is, they are simply talking about how Crazy he is.... A masterfull Pivot !

I've always wanted to sleep in Lincolns bedroom (or anyones bedroom) so i ACCEPT the position. but I will never actually be IN the bed, but on my knees on the floor next to the bed.... But I saw Melania was there, so I am sure she was coaxing him on how "to be best" ? We got Trump at his finest, most vicious, and poor Daniel Dales head was spinning....he could keep up with the lies tumbling out of Trumps mouth..... And that stupid, foolish "undecided" focus group CNN had on hand. What a bunch of absurd excuses for leaning towards Trump.... Obviously there are Americans that cant comprehend or understand WHAT is going on, and live in Trumps fake Reality WITH him (and his Proud boys).... And actually, I think YOU were born to be a HAND maiden since I heard that you give great "Handies".... So stick with what you are Good at ! My only hope is that Biden wins and Kamala becomes President...... OY VEY, we are fucked !!! STAND BACK, STAND BY !!!!!!
