    Cupidol Pattaya

Tonight, Cupidol had several shirtless boys in jeans on the stage. An improvement. First time I’ve seen any customers inside. It’s been open now for many weeks. Boyzboyzboyz had a fair crowd for the show, but plenty of room. Xboys had a fun show with many boys and about a dozen customers.

  3. Not many actually documented how they came up with the alphabets. I believe korean script is quite new, and there is a detail historical records on how the king and the scholars came up with the writting since chinese language dont really have alphabets but rather symbols or combination of symbols. There are few historical korean drama based on this event too.

  4. This was about ENGLISH teachers and has morphed in to a Thai language and (with your post) a general language thread lol yup agree. Especially when it's languages from totally different backgrounds, like European vs Asian laguages only agree 50%. Time yes definitely, and there is no real short cut to learning a language. Effort, I now disagree, because I put close to zero effort (only plenty of time) into my Thai learning by absorbing it through the "ALG = Automatic Language Growth" method used by AUA Thai Program (www.auathia.com), based on the research by Dr. Marvin Brown. I was very skeptical of this approach, but I chose this school anyway because it was an important point for me to (a) not have a rigid teaching schedule, where missing classes would meaning being left behind and (b) to be able to be lazy, i.e. not do anything at all to learn or "study" the language, no homework, no books or other material to study, no nothing. And, lo and behold, eventually it turned out their promise of effortless and natural language absorption(*) DID work. I now speak fluent Thai with very good pronunciation (the Thais tell me and make a point of specifically mentioning that part, coz many farang don't get the tones properly) (*)absorption: why is this spelled with a "p" instead of a "b" when it comes from "to absorb" (not "to absorp")???? Thai has that too, no spaces between words, which is a pain in the [insert your preferred body part lol]. One gets used to it, but it would be so much easier with spaces, especially since there are a LOT of combination words, so sometimes it is not at all clear where a word begins and ends, if a syllable (which alone can be a standalone word) is part of the previous or following syllable/word Are there any non-man-made alphabets? Which are they?

  6. This is a September 19th tweet from Steve Schmidt of The Lincoln Project. Do Not Be Afraid. Do Not Tremble. Do Not Waiver. Do not doubt either the goodness of our people or the possibilities for our future. Do not let small men with tyranny and malice in their heart, or hypocrites with no core, make you afraid for our future or of your countrymen and women. Do not let the fascists, racists and conspiracy theorists make you afraid of your neighbors or the strangers who could be your friend. We should all be grateful that we have been chosen by this rancid and dangerous hour to stand up and fight. What we do now matters. Our Capitol is occupied by a cabal of small and low men and women who have betrayed all of us, the American experiment, their oaths and basic decency in service of a corrupt and malignant cult of personality that is vandalizing our principles, ideals, inheritance, future and fundamental goodness. 200,000 of our countrymen and women are dead. At least 150,000 of them could be alive, but for Trump’s lethal lying and the immoral, supine complicity of his collaborators and enablers. Let us resolve to rise up and strike down Trumpism. Let us put it down with righteous anger and fury. Let us resolve to never let this happen again. Let us do our duty as American citizens. Let us be conscious that we are called to safe action when we consider the blood, sacrifice and courage of ordinary people who stood their ground on a field in Lexington and Gettysburg. The men who stormed the beaches of Normandy and dropped from the skies over France to crush fascism are smiling at our cause. The men and women who taught the world the meaning of the words “human dignity” as they protested segregation, absorbed the beatings and marched across the Edmund Pettus bridge are watching and judging us. We are in the right and for the right. We are fighting for the good. Trumpism is UNAMERICAN. It is illiberal, demagogic, dishonest, cruel, corrupt and disgusting. Let us strike it down. We will. Vote. Have joy in this fight. RBG is with her husband again. She is arguing with Scalia and meeting Washington and Lincoln. Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass are there. Susan B. Anthony is there, and so is Elie Wiesel. A great champion of freedom has arrived in heaven. Her work is done. Her burden is now ours. Let us honor her legacy by doing our duty. FIGHT, REGISTER, VOTE. I DISSENT are the most American of words. Thank you, Madame Justice. May your memory be a blessing. We all know that it is. (I did a search and did not find it previously posted.)

  7. United Airlines in San Francisco on October 1 will provide, for a steep fee, 15 min rapid Covid test for passengers who want to fly to Hawaii. For a smaller fee these an at home 48 hour test. This is toe in the water stuff, but if it can help to restart tourism in Hawaii, which given its quarantine rules is similar to Thailand and also has a desperate tourism economy, it might be something that can be copied and adapted.

  10. Another thing i might want to add, the korean king at that time wanted the poor and slaves to be able to read and learn too. However, chinese characters are only accessible to the nobles, and even then, they are not able to properly represent all the sounds made by korean language. Of course, its not so easy to learn and memorize thousands of characters too. Thats why i had high respect to anyone who are able to learn chinese characters as second language. Granted there are basic characters that are easy, and have meanings directly related to the shape. Thai script to me definitely looks like sanskrit/hindi script. So is myanmar's script and to some extend, i believe laos and cambodia too. Malay used to be written using script adopted from arabic. Vietnam on the other hand seems to have came out with their own version of the roman alphabet. Interesting how spoken language and written script somehow got influenced very differently.

  11. From Thai Enquirer Lawmakers Put off Vote on Constitutional Amendments BANGKOK (AP) — Scheduled voting by Thai lawmakers on six proposed amendments to the country’s military-backed constitution was canceled at the last minute Thursday as Parliament voted instead to set up a committee to further consider such proposals. The action, taken after two days of debate, means any vote on constitutional amendments is likely to be postponed for at least a month, and likely longer. At least 1,000 protesters pushing for charter reform gathered outside the Parliament building, and were angered when they heard that the voting might be postponed. They issued three demands for changes to the charter, including reform of the monarchy, limits to the powers of the unelected senators, and the election, not appointment, of any constitutional drafting committee’s members. Protest leaders threatened that they would hold another rally in October if their demands are not met by Sept. 30.

  12. There are ways to sort them out i supposed, especially if they have virus before, they have tested positive before and have receive treatement. Just show their previous virus/treatment document. Similarly for vaccine too. Eitherway, the test is not 100% accurate, but it is a way to reduce the chances, perhaps enough to make everyone comfortable to travel.

  13. Or maybe not. I think it's better to be alarmed. So let's just assume that he won't be willing to lose and November is going to be a nightmare. I'd rather be safe than sorry. The thing that is weird about this is that his rhetoric may drive his base into a frenzy, so they walk through the fires of hell to vote. But they were going to do that anyway. The roughly 40 % of Republicans who say they are "party" Republicans rather than "Trump Republicans" are probably turned off by this rhetoric. I also would guess Independents are turned off by rhetoric that sounds like the US is a banana republic. I can't be objective about what Democrats might do, because I'm very passionate about this stuff. But this just seems like more reason that Millennials who are skeptical at best about Biden will go vote. Today Bernie used this as an opportunity to urge young people to vote. Good for him! So, yeah. Maybe the best explanation is that President Toxic is just real fucking stupid. One thing I sure don't believe is that President Toxic is a genius. Exhibit A that he has brains is what happened in 2016. But that could be just as much luck. A broken clock is right twice a day. Lichtman's model of why Presidents win and lose changed my thinking a little about 2016. In September 2016 Lichtman said that this is basically the Republican's election to lose. He also said Trump is such an abnormal and bad candidate that he may lose it. Even though, based on his so far 100 % accurate model, any generic Republican should win. That is a way to think about 2016. Not that he won because he's President Toxic. But that he almost lost (by 80,000 votes) because he's toxic. Here's what Lichtman said, verbatim, in Sept. 2016: Morning Joe was on a fine rant this morning about President Toxic's banana republic rhetoric about not being willing to state he would transfer power peacefully. Joe had a different reading of the subtext. He said he thinks President Toxic knows he is going to lose. They put a few of the latest polls up showing Trump 10 points behind Biden nationally. I tend to agree with Morning Joe's take on it. He mentioned that no Republican other than President Toxic - like all the Republican Senate candidates in tight races - are going along for the ride on the rhetoric about mailed ballots being vote fraud. Just today Mitch McConnell essentially disavowed Trump and said there will be an orderly transition of power. So President Toxic is off on his own on that. Why am I 100 % not surprised? So Theory A for me is that he's laying the groundwork for the loss he expects. He'll say he really won, but the election was rigged with all those mail in ballots. It sounds like the basis for a post-2020 TV show on Fox. Or a 2024 comeback. Or maybe a 2024 Don, Jr. run. Or God knows what else? We should probably assume Plan B is to get the SCOTUS to turn the US into a banana republic. But that may be be a little bit above the pay grade of a moron like President Toxic to pull off.

  14. From Khaosod English BANGKOK (Xinhua) — Thailand planned to provide the so-called wellness quarantine for foreign visitors under the anti-pandemic measures at hotels alongside massage and spa parlors, confirmed a senior government official on Tuesday. Health Service Support Department Director General Tares Krassanairawiwong said foreign tourists will be provided the 14-day wellness quarantine at the hotels where they will stay and concurrently visit massage and spa parlors in their neighborhood. Nevertheless, all foreigners visiting the massage and spa parlors will be strictly separated from Thai customers under social distancing and anti-pandemic measures, the director general said. That will be part of the government’s Medical and Wellness Program for foreign tourists, who will be obliged to carry a health insurance package upon arrival to Thailand, Tares said. Many foreign tourists are expected to use the massage and spa services, such as those in southern coastal provinces of Thailand, and may be given a Special Tourist Visa for a long stay allowing a maximum of nine-month stay in this country, he said. However, the government-run Center for the COVID-19 Situation Administration and the cabinet of ministers are yet to approve the Wellness Quarantine plan for foreigners.

  15. From Bangkok Post Airports deploy rapid virus tests, sniffer dogs to unlock travel LONDON: A handful of European airports are implementing trials of quick-fire coronavirus tests, working with airlines to push technologies still being developed as a way to revive stunted international air travel. The tests, which can be carried out in 30 minutes, are seen as the best hope for the aviation industry to overcome new travel curbs that have brought a modest traffic rebound over summer to a shuddering halt. Other initiatives include a Finnish experiment with dogs that can sniff out the virus. Rome's Fiumicino hub became the first worldwide to introduce rapid screening, while London Heathrow, Europe’s busiest airport, has trialled three rival technologies. The International Air Transport Association is backing mandatory checks on departure to unlock flights before the arrival of a Covid vaccine, and Deutsche Lufthansa AG wants to use tests to reopen the trans-Atlantic market. The aviation industry is turning to a do-it-yourself approach after earlier efforts to rally global authorities around a united plan fell flat. A recent surge in virus cases triggered a haphazard set of fresh restrictions, upending a recovery in air traffic. Now companies are working to get pre-flight testing under way in a handful of markets in the expectation that other locations will follow. "We did not come to this decision lightly," IATA director general Alexandre de Juniac said of its support for universal checks. "Systematic testing will present logistical challenges and impact how people travel. But if you look at the reopening of borders, results have been dismally disappointing. Quarantine measures are killing the industry's recovery." The latest global traffic figures show long-haul markets are still largely grounded and that a recovery in domestic and regional operations has leveled off. Restrictions have been especially fluid in Europe, making it impossible for travellers to know whether they'll need to self-isolate when they return home. Heathrow, which sought to introduce PCR tests costing £150 (about 6,000 baht), had also proposed a second test five days later to allow for the virus’s incubation period, during which time people would need to self-isolate. Britain declined to ratify the plan, saying it was unlikely to entice travellers put off by an existing 14-day quarantine period for arrivals from at-risk countries. The airport is now pressing the case for rapid testing before departure, though Chief Executive Officer John Holland-Kaye cautioned Wednesday that it will be “more challenging” for the model to gain acceptance, since destination countries would need to take the accuracy of the checks on faith. Anyone found to be infected is denied boarding and will have to return home to self-isolate, having previously completed a form undertaking to do so in the event of a positive outcome. AdR said it is in talks with Lufthansa, Russia’s Aeroflot and Dubai-based Emirates about introducing the tests for their flights from Fiumicino. It is also keen to offer the procedure for services to New York, restoring a vital trans-Atlantic link that is currently closed to all but repatriating passengers. Lufthansa said separately Tuesday that it is planning to buy test kits from manufacturers including Roche Holding AG, after the Swiss company said the day before that its rapid antigen scan was available in Europe and that it would be filing for emergency authorization in the US. The German carrier said it is working with partners to use the tests to open up American routes. One, devised by GeneMe of Poland, can detect the Covid-19 genome in nose or throat swabs in about 30 minutes, while the other, from US-based Mologic, uses a saliva sample to identify viral antibodies in about 10 minutes. The hub also tested the less conventional Virolens system from British startup iAbra, which deploys a digital camera and microscope to produce a highly magnified hologram-style image of a sample in just 20 seconds. That can then be scanned for the distinctly shaped virus using artificial intelligence software.

  17. I got one today! I was surprised but it was being offered and only 2,000 baht so I took advantage of it. I'm a bit older and overweight and felt this was a good investment. I am not sure if I should have gotten it from the tailor I normally purchase my shirts from, but I figured they were from India and maybe they had an in with some pharmacy group so I took a chance. I know they would never lie to me just to make up for all the lost tourists.

  19. I am not sure, but I guess it means the following: When you say in english "stop", you press your lips together for the "p", and then quickly release them, so that it makes a sound like when opeing a bottle of beer: Now instead release the lips more softly/slowly, and you don't here a "plop" (is it "plob" in english?). I think, that could meant by no audible release.

  21. I Can’t Catch a Break I’ve been wondering about these types of questions a lot recently: Why do I keep going to Brazil? Why did I brave traveling thousands of miles away, to a different continent, during a deadly pandemic? Why did I bother learn a language that I have no use for at home, and may not have use for outside this godforsaken country? Well I think I just got as close to an answer as I will ever be, right now. Back in Recife, in Termas Boa Vista, on a busy Saturday night, I was sitting in the bar, minding my own business, until this guy, THE guy, tapped my shoulder to say hi. I turned around. He came into view. Well, well, well. Maybe Recife isn’t so bad in the hot guy department after all. He was tall, well built, with giant biceps, a big chest and sculpted abs. And it wasn’t just musculature, it was defined musculature, which seems like splitting hairs, but it really isn’t, not if you were making the distinction from some run-of-the-mill Carioca bombado with lots of help from steroids, and this guy. Nope, this was active musculature. The kind that can only be attained through hard work at the gym and through sports, a mind for aesthetics, and of course, winning the genetic lottery. As I gathered my jaw off the floor, he sat down on the empty seat in front of me. I began studying his face – handsome, but very distinctive, not cookie cutter in any way at all, and while I was doing that, I saw that he was trying to figure me out too. After a few seconds of silence, I spoke up, introduced myself, and then asked him some generic getting-to-know-you questions. I could tell he was an expert GP – he knew all the cute ways to answer those questions that have been asked of him probably hundreds of times before, by hundreds of strangers, but I dug deeper, asked him more and more questions, about stuff that he probably haven’t heard anyone ask him before. He was taken aback at first, unsure of what answers to give. His response at first was to ask me his own set of deep-divey questions. I tried to answer them as straightforward as I could, and some of the questions were a bit personal, but I tried to answer with as much light-heartedness as I could. Which seemed to work. He was laughing and getting what I was trying to convey. He finally answers my own probing questions, and I got to the point where I was lost in the conversation itself, and not the guy - with the imposing physical presence - in front of me. We got to the topic of Recife itself. He asked me what I thought of it, and what I thought of this sauna as well. I was candid, telling him about the last time I was here, including details about the BF (I called him ex-BF of course, to convey a sense of availableness). He was interested in this particular detail of course, peppering me afterwards with questions about the relationship, the dynamic of the pairing, and why it “ended.” I tried to be as forthcoming as I could, under the circumstances. I was rewarded with his a tale of his own series of failed relationships, all with women, as well as hearing his philosophy on relationships in general. There was interest in both sides, for certain, but I was wondering why he was not making overtures to get me to a programa. He was after all, a GP, and making a sale is why he is here. The faster he got me to cum, the earlier he will be back in his own bed. As if on cue, he got us back to the topic of the sauna. “Is this your first time here?” he asked. “No, my second time, but that last time was just a brief visit.” “Cool, let me show you the place.” He took my hand, and after thinking about it, let go of it and just nudged me towards a certain direction. He gave me a tour of the place. I appreciated the effort, and even though I have seen everything at this point, I still wanted to hear what his take was on this sauna. We go back to the bar area and saw that all the seats were taken. “Where do you want to go?” he asked. I finally break the client-boy barrier and said – “Why don’t we get a room?” His huge smile breaks out. “Sure! I’ll get us the best one. I’ll be right back.” He bolts to the stairs. He comes back with a key. He leads me to the end of the hallway where the room was. Presidential Suite 8: The room was sparkly clean, as I remembered it. The bed was made and clean, the towels and condoms were neatly placed, and even the remotes were easy to find and cleansed as well. We both sit on the bed. “It’s better to talk to here, away from those nosy people. They were probably wondering what was so interesting that we have talked that long.” he said, laughing. I concurred with him. It’s kind of a crapshoot to have any decent conversations in a boy sauna. Though I admit, you don’t go to a boy sauna to talk in the first place. But talk we did, continuing what we had in the bar, in this room, and continued our explorations through our lives and experiences. I was hooked on listening to his stories. Such insight was hard to find from someone you just met an hour ago. And he seemed to be interested in my life too, asking me follow up questions that made the conversation sail. Up close and in bed with me, I began to notice details about his physicality that was not obvious to me sitting in a bar with him. His skin was super smooth and bronzed, he definitely took care of himself. I began noticing scars in certain parts of his body – not grotesque – but interesting and actually complements his whole style, and it gave his imposing physicality an added authenticity. He earned those scars for sure. His big bright eyes always lit up whenever he heard something interesting. I briefly wondered what his cock would look like. And then we heard a knock on the door. “Oh shit, it’s closing time.” he exclaimed. I looked at the time. Oh man, it was 10 minutes to 10 PM. I was shocked. “How long have we been talking?” I asked him. “2, 3 hours, maybe more?” he said. “ What do you want to do?” he asks me. Reality set in finally: Before coming to the sauna, I booked a post-sauna overnight with a couple I messaged on garotocomlocal.com. We planned on meeting at 10 PM, since i thought I'd be done with the sauna by then, and then after the overnight, have a beach day tomorrow with them. I figured that I would get my freak on here at the sauna, and then retire to bed with a couple of hot guys for dessert. Regrettably though, if I didn’t book those GPs in advance, I would have invited THIS guy instead, to my hotel. He seems way more interesting than a couple of GPs from a website, and I haven’t even seen him all nude yet. I relunctantly said that I had to go, as I invented some excuse that I was meeting up with some friends later back in my apartment. He seemed fine with it, but then asked “What are you doing tomorrow?” Damn it. I told him the truth, since I had that beach day with the couple, I told him that I was going to the beach with the same friends. “OK, I hope to see you here tomorrow night at the sauna then.” I told him yes, I will be here. Maybe we can spend more time together. As we prepare to leave the room, he stands in front me, towering. He leans over to kiss me, lightly at first, and then deeply. After some adjusting, a lightbulb just went on for both of us quite suddenly... we suddenly realized that this was amazing, so we kissed for a while. And then we kissed and we kissed and we kissed. Wow, we actually discovered another thing, other than talking, that we wanted to do with each other. We did it until we get another angry knock outside. “We need to go,” he said. “I don’t want to go,” I answered back. We finally open the door to leave, while still locked together in an embrace. As we came up for air, I noticed that, indeed, the place has closed. We were the last people here, and they had started cleaning up: We go down to the lockers, and as he put on clothes (boo, he should never put on clothes), I took my wallet and things from my locker. I check my cellphone. Damn, that GP couple was looking for me, as I saw some messages, and missed calls, from them on my phone. I fished out 150 reais out of my wallet to give THE guy as a tip. For his time. I go back to him and he scoops me up and starts kissing me again. We go to reception so I can pay my bill. Cheap, compared to RJ and SP: As I was paying, he asks me where I was staying. I told him I was staying in Boa Viagem. He said that he was staying in Boa Viagem too, and we could go home in the same taxi together. I said sure, so I whipped out my phone for Uber. He pushed my phone away and says no need for that, we can get the taxi waiting in front. "I'm paying," he said. He says he knew the guy and was always his ride home after the sauna and he gets a discount for being a loyal customer. A red flag perhaps? But no, I trusted him, for some reason. I gave the driver directions, and the driver acknowledged that we, indeed, lived close to each other. As we made the journey from Boa Vista to Boa Viagem, we continued to kiss. I looked at the driver at times. He was unfazed. He has probably seen everything before, with hundreds of clients, and this boy. As we get closer to my apartment, the boy asks me again if I was going to see him tomorrow. I promised him that I would. We exchanged Whatsapp. We kiss again. We compose ourselves as the taxi stops in front of my apartment building. I give him the 150 reais. He declines the money. “We didn’t do anything!” he says. I insisted, he resisted. “I took all your time away from you,” I said. He then counters with “I already had 3 clients before you showed up today, so I was already good for the day.” I laugh. Fine, I said. I give him a peck on the cheek, and then, as I get out of the car, turned around and threw the 50 reais bill in the passenger seat. “For the taxi!” I said. He laughed. “Tabom” he says. I slam the car door shut. They drive away into the night. Relunctantly again, I then message the GP couple who were waiting for me to reply. I could not cancel on them. It was the right thing to do. They might have cancelled on some other clients to be with me. Besides, it is two hot guys to have fun with till tomorrow afternoon. It might be good for me. And it was, sort of. The sex was good (did it three times, everyone was crazy versatile). We had three meals together (with good conversation). We went to the beach (the sun was amazing). But all that time, I was thinking about that guy. THAT guy. I was distracted through the whole thing. Even with two dicks waved in my face. Can you blame me? And at 2 AM, after the first sex with the GP couple, and after getting pizza to be delivered, I get a message from THAT guy. He sent me a picture of two hamburgers and a receipt of his iFood delivery: He then follows up with “This is what I did with the 50 reais you gave me tonight. The second hamburger is yours because you paid for it. Do you want to come here and eat it with me?” I wanted to say yes, but knew I couldn’t because I had company. But it was a sweet reminder for me that you never really know what the universe will send your way. All you can do is to be open to the possibilities. Let’s see what the possibilities are, next.
