I was not planning to open a thread here at BoyToy about this topic, but the post where I said my goodbye to you has been deleted. In case you stop by here I invite you to stay, but also to read what was deleted exactly as it was written, with no editions. You have my word on that. "It has been an amazing ride. I will always be thankful to this community, especially to the many members who honored me with their friendship. I have learned and grown a lot, and I thank you. I can participate in a community with racist members who open threads like “Oh My Wakanda”. I would even defend their right to express their opinion, no matter how shameful and ignorant. If they are too much for me, I could block them. After all, I already blocked the annoying idiots. The annoying racists could easily join them. I could bury my head in The Deli. However, I find that I can no longer participate in this community, after its leadership has taken a clear stand in this thread, “BLM is Racist”. I will miss the friends. A lot. (here I tagged the three admins) or whoever is responsible for it, cancel my account here, please. If the leadership ever decides to publicly endorse BLACK LIVES MATTER, or at least publicly apologize for opening this disheartening thread, I will be happy to return. That is, if I will still be accepted back, because as much as I do not want to leave, I find that I must. BLACK LIVES MATTER. Period. Goodbye." I have formally asked my account to be deleted, and will be no longer submitting escorts reviews to Daddy's.2 points -

For some people, it takes more time than for others. But mostly for me, the biggest disappointment is from lazy gays with lazy minds. So many people just don't give a shit about the details, as long as they have a free watering hole. Of course your departure post on Daddy's board has been DELETED. Of course it has. (Keep in mind I have not seen the deletion.) You're not allowed to dissent or challenge Daddy and Co. And that's a direct result of the owner having no clue how to run a successful board. America is experiencing a reckoning. One can only hope actual change is on the way. There's lots of ugly people out there who own guns. Wars can get really ugly, but I'm praying the racists die with Trumpism, and it doesn't come to more bloodshed. Thank you Oz for providing a place to speak one's mind. It gives Latbear4blk an opportunity to reach his readers.2 points -
Ref my post of May 23 above, the sequel to the successful Thai movie Present Perfect is now showing again in Bangkok cinemas. Set in a small resort on Koh Kood, Present Still Perfect corinues the story of the two guys who first met in a resort in Hokkaido and started a short lived relationship. We enjoyed both movies but found the sequel less enjoyable from the film making viewpoint. The three main characters in the original were very well acted and extremely believable. Present Still Perfect still has fine acting from the two boys but the two others seem to be much more Thai movie stereotypes - a ditsy manageress whose hair is almost permanently in large curlers and a cute Japanese boy as a tourist whose role in the film we just could not understand. Still, it is well worth seeing and a good example of a movie based totally on a serious gay theme.2 points

Tourists are currently not allowed in Thailand, and today THAI Airways says it will not restart international flights until at least August 1st. https://www.bangkokpost.com/learning/easy/1933704/thai-may-delay-flights-until-aug-1 But, when you do get back there, for the first time you will be able to walk across the Chao Praya River! A project that was abandoned in 1992 has come back and opens next month: https://www.bangkokpost.com/learning/easy/1933208/skypark-across-chao-phraya-river-to-open-this-month And, in Pattaya, the beach has been enlarged. Now Jomtien Beach will also be enlarged, but it will take a while. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/1933848/work-to-start-on-b586m-enlargement-of-jomtien-beach The curfew will be ended soon for nightlife, but there are exceptions: "The source said that Gen Prayut agreed to lift the 11pm-3am curfew so that people could return to their normal life. Almost all businesses would be allowed to resume except pubs, bars, karaoke shops and bath-sauna-massage parlours." Thank goodness for dry massage! Above is the 4-T Bar on Jomtien Beach1 point

Dear Members, I have deleted a few member logins this week because they were the same person who was banned previously. This week, the "Organ" thread was recreated a few times which I thought odd from a new member. So, I started thinking. Who would want to be a part of a site when they request to be banned or when they are not wanted. I remembered ChicagoBoy years back and the 20 or more profiles he created to stir up shit. TampaYankee was much smarter than me and found him quick. However, I am slower. After this week, I went way back to the older emails Tampa and I shared about this character and it was the same person that started the long "Organ" thread a year or two ago and then asked me to removed. I think another member even left the site because they felt I was unfair to Larstrup. I bet he didn't know he has already been banned over 30 times. It wasn't until today when I started look back into time and pulling IP's that I realized they were all the same person. Holy Shit! Who has time to do that? Needless to say, once banned, forever banned here. I am sorry I fell asleep at the wheel with several new monikers. However, a new rule is now in place. No one will post until I approve them. Yeah, I know this dude will find a way to get a few posts approved before unmoderated. However, if anyone see any resemblance to the banned members, PM me. Let me know. I don't want that drama on here. I want a fun and open forum. But, I don't want someone who causes problems over and over again and will start to lean heavy with new members with watching them. Your help is appreciate. Your continued participation is appreciated. Oz1 point -

The quote about Daddy is yours, not mine. It does support my contention that you are one of the nastiest people on either board. A truce takes two, and if you didn't agree, there was no truce. Even you are smart enough to know that. It's a shame that you want to continue this bickering. But leading threads with the words cunt or fuck yourself does not indicate a stable mind, so I see that they will continue.1 point

From Taiwan News Taiwan to require all foreign visitors take PCR test TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — After Taiwan opens its borders to travelers, they will be required to pass a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) before they will be allowed to enter the country, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced on Monday (June 8). During a press conference on Monday, Minister of Health and Welfare and CECC head Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) said that when Taiwan eases its border controls, foreign visitors will be required to test negative in a PCR test before they can enter the country. In addition, after entering Taiwan, Chen said that they will also be subject to follow-up testing and self-health management measures, depending on the activities that they engage in while in the country. Some question the CECC's claim that the key to borders reopening is the wearing of masks by Taiwanese and argue that the key should be a better border testing system. Chen responded by saying that airport testing has its effectiveness, but cannot guarantee that 100 percent of people carrying the virus will be detected. Chen said whether looking at the experience of other countries or Taiwan, both are the same. Taiwan's quarantine staff spotted about 100 confirmed cases, but another 100 were discovered during home isolation, while others tested positive after completing their 14-day quarantine. The CECC head said that successful detection requires several layers of screening, and there is no way to succeed in epidemic prevention with a single method. Only careful inspection at all stages will ensure the prevention of the spread of the disease. "When foreigners want to open up [Taiwan's borders], they must test negative with the PCR test," said Chen, according to ETtoday. He said that CECC will not implement mass testing on Taiwanese entering the country from abroad because the government is obligated to treat them if they are infected. However, Chen said the government is not obligated to treat infected foreign travelers. He said that if sick foreign passengers are allowed to enter without screening, they could quickly start a local outbreak. In order to prevent foreign nationals from spreading the disease in Taiwan, Chen said that testing is a key line of defense that must be maintained at airports.1 point

Completely agree. President Trump has moved so far right, he is unwilling to rename Fort Hood and Fort Benning, venerable locations named after Civil War legends of the Confederacy. Reminds me of when radical conservative Francis Cardinal Spellman of New York was Chaplain of the United States military. Update: The Republican controlled Senate Armed Services Committee disagrees with Trump. The committee favors renaming these forts. Fu*k, good move.1 point

Latbear4blk, don't be too hard on yourself. You made the effort, you engaged the discussion. What I think is different this time is the very thing you brought up early on- white privilege. I think many white people are finally seeing for the first time what a role that privilege plays in keeping things from improving. Just today I got an email challenging me, and others, to determine what practical steps we can take to make sure real change happens now. Partly because of disgust with Trump, people see things in the US as at a critical stage. Act now. Maybe it will be the children like you saw rally today that lead us, but there will be leadership, and, I think, real change.1 point

From South China Morning Post Coronavirus turns Teflon Thailand’s wealth gap into a economic chasm As Covid-19 eats into exports and tourism, the gap between rich and poor in one of the world’s most unequal countries is only getting wider With both the lower and middle classes now facing ruin, ‘Teflon’ Thailand’s reputation for weathering financial crises is feeling the heat like never before On a roadside in a mixed Bangkok neighbourhood stands a shiny metal box – a “Pantry of Sharing” – where the haves in one of the world’s least equal countries can leave food for the have-nots, the ranks of whom are bulging as the coronavirus lays waste to the Thai economy. Each day, maids from the grand mansions nearby drop off an inventory of essentials – eggs, noodles, milk, sugar and water, sometimes a bag of mangosteens or rambutans – charity for those suddenly jobless. Opposite the pantry, Sumarin Boonmee says her life has been pitched into uncertainty since she was put on unpaid leave from her job at a supermarket three months ago. “I have no idea when I can go back, so I am selling meat skewers here for a little income,” she says, tending to a tabletop grill. She is a member of the Leelanut community, a slum of day workers and stallholders living under corrugated roofs amid cluttered walkways beside a mucky canal. The community is flanked by wealth – gated villas, wood-panelled cafes, condos and high-end salons. It is a hangover from old Bangkok, before money poured in and breakneck development airbrushed most of the poor from prime areas of the city. There are millions of newly unemployed like Sumarin, according to the Thai government, which last Sunday secured a near-US$60 billion stimulus package – the largest in Thai history – to resuscitate an economy flatlined by the virus. Bangkok locked down in late March. It is stuttering back to life. But jobs have been shredded, especially for those who depend on daily wages or low-paid jobs as cleaners, motorbike drivers and security guards. At the pantries, most are embarrassed for being forced to turn to handouts. “I’m just taking enough for now, so that others have something too,” says Suthep, a 49-year-old truck driver, taking a red-bean bun and a carton of milk for his granddaughter. Thailand’s economy leans heavily on exports and tourism and has been cruelly exposed by the impact of the virus, which has closed international travel and shrunk global demand. Now the “Teflon Thailand” tag, earned for resilience through financial crises, disasters and cycles of political turmoil, is being tested like never before. There are now scores of pantries across Bangkok, lifelines for those in need but also rare connection points between the rich and the poor. The pantry at the Leelanut community is filled twice daily by an heir to a large sock company, who lives 100 metres along the road in a grand house. “My business has been hit hard by Covid. But I’m very lucky,” says Pinnarat Sethaporn, 51. “I really feel for those living hand-to-mouth at times like this.” But it is not just the poor who are facing ruin. Middle-class workers are losing their office jobs, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are bleeding cash, with knock-on effects on mortgage, car and school payments. Between six and seven per cent will be hacked off annual growth, according to an IMF estimate. The damage is already worse than the “Tom Yum Goong” crisis of 1997, when Thai banks overly leveraged with foreign debt collapsed, leading to a slump in the baht, white-collar redundancies and capital flight – problems that spread across the region and led to the Asian financial crisis. “This time, those who will be hit the hardest are the low and middle classes,” says Pavida Pananond, an academic at Thammasat Business School in Bangkok. “This crisis will further widen Thailand’s inequality.”1 point

I wouldn't be trying to book any flights just yet. Even if foreigners are allowed to enter Thailand unimpeded, which currently they are not, there are still quite a few things we just don't know yet, such as: 1. Even if they are allowed to fly to Thailand, how many airlines will do so? 2. What will the price of tickets be? 3. Are you willing to risk the possibility of another Covid-19 breakout, and ending up stuck in Thailand if international flights are prohibited again or if your home country won't permit incoming flights? 4. Will your hotel choices be available? 5. Even if the bars are allowed to open again (which by the way may be very soon), will they open again before they can be sure there will be enough customers so they can at least break even? 6. Will the bars have problems getting boys? Many boys went back home when they lost their jobs. Now bus fares have gone up considerably due to the social distancing restrictions. They would not only need enough money to pay the bus fare, but unless something changes the boys are usually paid at the end of the month, which means they would need to have enough money to pay a month's rent and security in advance, enough money for food, personal items, etc. In short, will the bar boys even be able to afford to return? 7. What will be the social distancing restrictions in the bars? We don't know yet. Will the boys and customers be required to wear face masks? Will there be restrictions on the operating hours? 8. Are you willing to risk arriving in Thailand only to find yourself quarantined for 14 days? __________________________________________________________________ And then, there's this. As far as I know, this is the latest information: Foreigners allowed to enter Thailand on case-by-case basis May 29, 2020 Under phase 3 of the lockdown relaxation, foreigners with work permits or permission from the Labour Ministry or other government agencies will be allowed to enter the country, the Foreign Ministry announced on Friday (May 29). “Permission to enter does not cover all groups as we are proceeding step by step,” said deputy spokesman Natapanu Nopakun at a daily briefing on the Covid-19 situation. The Foreign Ministry has informed Thailand’s foreign chambers of commerce about the relaxation. Eligible foreign nationals are invited to submit applications at Thai Embassies in their countries. They must have health insurance and a health certificate. They will also be subject to 14- quarantine on entry to Thailand, either in a state facility or in a private facility at their own cost. Details of the letter sent to all foreign chambers of commerce in Thailand are as follows: 1. The Royal Thai Government's invocation of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations BE2548 (2005) (No I) dated 25 March BE2563 (2020) to control the outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), closes the entry into the Kingdom of non-Thai nationals, in accordance with the laws on communicable diseases and immigration. However, clause 3 (5) of the Regulation issued under the said Emergency Decree, also allows non-Thai nationals who either possess a valid work permit or have already been granted permission from a Thai government agency to work in the Kingdom, to apply for permission to enter the Kingdom. 2. It is, however, requested that only those in urgent need to enter the Kingdom may submit an application for entry. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in consultation with the Board of Investment and the Ministry of Labour, will consider all requests for entry on a case by case basis, taking into account urgency and economic importance, among others. 3. The procedure for non-Thai nationals who wish to submit an application for entry are as follows: 3.1 Contact the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General in their country of departure to apply for 'Certificate of Entry into the Kingdom of Thailand" at least 10 working days before the date of intended departure. The applicants must present: (1) copy of his work permits or copy of Ietter of permission issued by a Thai Government agency (in most cases, by the Ministry of Labour) to work in Thailand; (2) a valid health insurance policy covering all expenditures of medical treatment, including Covid-19 worth at least 100,000 USD. 3.2 The Thai Embassy/Consulate-General will forward the application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok. If the application is approved, the Thai Embassy/Consulate-General will be instructed to issue the "Certificate of Entry into the Kingdom of Thailand" and appropriate visa to the applicant. 4. At the port of departure/embarkation (eg airline check-in counter), the approved applicant is required to present (I) a "Certificate of Entry into the Kingdom of Thailand" issued by the Royal Thai Embassy Consulate-General; (2) a completed and signed "Declaration Form" obtained from the Embassy/Consulate-General; (3) a Fit to Fly Health Certificate' issued no more than 72 hours before departure; and (4) a health insurance covering all expenditures of medical treatment, including Covid-19, while traveling to Thailand in an amount of at least 100,000 USD. 5. Upon entry into the Kingdom, non-Thai nationals will be subjected to a 14-day state quarantine at a government-designated Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) facility at their own expenses, and obliged to comply with the government's disease prevention measures pursuant to clause 11 of the Regulation issued under Section 9 of the said Emergency Decree. The rage coursing through the streets of Minneapolis and other cities is born from hundreds of years of oppression, exploitation and violence boiling over. When we see this violence, but we must be clear-eyed about where core responsibility lies. Millions have seen clear video of a police officer kneeling on George Floyd’s neck while others stood calmly by. When peaceful protestors took to the streets, state actions escalated the situation rather than calming it by responding with violence: assaulting, gassing and arresting protestors. Police even arrested a CNN news crew during a live broadcast, further undermining our first amendment rights. The state escalated the situation rather than calming it.1 point -
