  3. As others have said, my first night was memorable. Why? Because it was the first. For me, that was the first night of my first visit to BKK, back in the summer of 1997, which I've written about on another thread. However, the first night that I had a really great fuck is also memorable. That was at the end of '97. It was with a guy called Toy, of all things, who worked at Twilight. He was an ethnic Khmer from Buriram who could, um, ram it really well. He claimed to be 27, but I found out later he was closer to 37. We got together off and on for a year until he ordained as a monk. No kidding. Apart from the night I met my longterm boyfriend, the other most memorable night was the one I spent with a Thai guy off Romeo. Beginner's luck, in that he was my first-ever online connect in BKK. This was around 2012. We met in Silom and had a drink in Soi 4. He spoke excellent, idiomatic English. We then took a taxi to his condo unit in a tall, swanky building. Said he was an architect. Looked to be in his late 20s, but who knows? Quite dark skinned. Average height, but muscular and with a chiseled jaw. It turned out he was also packing a thick 7 or so inches, which he used to work me over good. At dawn, pretending to be still asleep, he pulled the blanket aside to reveal his morning wood. I admired it for a few minutes before he grabbed my neck and pushed my head down for a blow job, which I was only too happy to provide. There followed a thorough fuckdown before he kicked me out around 8am, saying that he had to go to work. Never saw him again, nor did I ever have such a successful Romeo encounter again.

The main thing I like about Daddy is his curation of articles to look at, and this one is a doozy, on the same topic: https://www.advocate.com/health/2020/4/08/standing-next-pence-fauci-praises-courage-dignity-gay-people

    Face Masks, Gel etc

not that it matters much to most members, but alcohol hand gel is now available everywhere. and I mean EVERYwhere. Tops supermarket is selling it, Watson's have at least 5 different kinds/brands, and even street vendors sell it now.

  7. Bogota (pop. 7.5 million) is very high up in the Andes and is always foggy, damp and cool. The native population is Inca. But it's also a huge modern European-type city and costs twice as much as Medellin for everything. It also has a huge gay area that Medellin does not. They vacation often in Medellin and everyone in Bogota will tell you how beautiful Medellin is and how good-looking and friendly the people are there. Medellin (pop. 2 million) is in a always-sunny valley and has flowers and vacation hotels everywhere. The people are mostly European Spanish stock with a little mix. They are extremely friendly and healthy and Medellin is a festive city. There is no clear gay area but several gay clubs and there is a small block of hustler bars downtown, and Club Tobi. a beautiful sauna, which has "no holes barred" masseurs for $18. I had excellent experiences at Tobi but later reviewers said the quality of the masseurs declined. Many latin Chaterbate rooms are really in Medellin and it's good to make contacts before going there. Although many guys are receptive they're hard to find. The ones in the hustler bars are the only ugly guys in Medellin. Cali (pop. 2.5 million) is Pacific coast but I've never been.

  13. Funny, but my eyes are playing tricks on me this morning. I think I saw this same link posted twice already in the Pub. Dr. Fauci sure has good fans! On the other hand, there is hardly anything else new on the board this morning, so good work Adam!

Adam, Dr. Fauci certainly deserves credit for his leadership in the pandemic, but two threads with the same link? Won't they compete against each other? His legacy will be great, so maybe I should start a third thread...

  17. I received a first-person account from a friend who just completed an extended quarantine upon reentering Vietnam. He began his journey just as venues in Bangkok were closing and outbound buses were departing full. Vietnam authorities were initially overtaxed by the arrival at their border of so many returnees. Once transportation was organized, however, citizens were dispersed to quarantine locations set up in army bases and closed school facilities. Authorities then began shifting nationals to locations closer to their homes. For many, this was Ha Tinh province. Everyone was required to wear surgical masks and their condition regularly monitored, he said. Just as he was nearing the standard 14-day quarantine, he was told that contact tracing determined that a person he was in proximity to at a camp had tested positive and his stay would be extended for an additional observation period. He was tested twice during this time and registered negative on both. He was released to his home a few days later. He tells me that the food was good and new masks were provided daily. Upon release, everyone was given a washable cloth mask to take with them.

  18. From Bangkok Post Focus shifts to sealing off zone where 2,800 tourists are staying ATTAYA: After a chaotic first day featuring traffic jams at overwhelmed checkpoints, Pattaya City officials have been forced to adjust their lockdown as they try to curb the spread of Covid-19. In addition to changing the locations of the checkpoints, authorities will focus their attention on securely locking down an inner part of the city where about 2,800 foreign tourists are staying and most of the infections have occurred, starting on Tuesday. The full lockdown to outsiders began on Thursday with five checkpoints set up on roads leading into the city. But there was an unexpectedly heavy impact on local residents even though they gave full cooperation to officials, Pattaya Mayor Sonthaya Khunpluem conceded on Friday. People entering the town were being screened at points on five main access routes: Soi Chaiyapornvithee, Motorway Route 2 in front of the Highway Police office, Soi Pornprapanimit, Soi Chayaporn, and Sukhumvit Road near the Office of the Public Prosecutor in front of Na Jomtien temple. As it turned out, many of the people arriving at the checkpoints had no intention of entering the town, but simply wanted to travel to adjacent areas such as Sattahip, downtown Chon Buri or other municipal areas linked with Pattaya City. More than 2,800 foreigners are still staying in the inner zone of the town and this is where the new effort will be concentrated. Of the 33 Covid-19 infections recorded in Pattaya, 26 were in this area, said the mayor. He ordered the five existing checkpoints on the east side of the town scrapped and the barriers removed. New checkpoints are expected to function more efficiently and help prevent the spread of the virus. The new checkpoints would be set up at Dolphin Circle; the entrance of Pattana Nua (North Pattaya) at the Prinya Sai 3 intersection; Pattaya Klang (Central Pattaya) at Soi Arunothai; Pattaya Tai (South Pattaya) at Soi Kophai; and Jomtien checkpoint on Jomtien Sai 2 Road. The checkpoints will be manned by combined teams of health officials, Bang Lamung district officials, volunteers and police who will strictly screen people entering the town. They will start operating from Tuesday and will be in place for three weeks or until the situation returns to normal, said the mayor. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/1897390/pattaya-to-adjust-lockdown

  20. I am old enough to have seen Ethel in "Gypsy" and Mary Martin in "The Sound of Music." I was in high school and my parents bought the tickets. Good memory. Ms Merman was very different on stage than television and films. Ms. Martin wasn't, but she had been more successful in the ("Peter Pan").

  21. I went to Bangkok for the second time ever in Summer 2019, and visited Babylon on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed and I was making out with various boys all over the facility. I ended up in that very dark, very erotic steam room, with bodies on top of each other. I suddenly came face to face with a very cute Thai guy, and it was like a Hallmark movie meet-cute -- but instead of accidentally spilling coffee on me, he instantly dropped to his knees and took my cock in his mouth. It was so hot - other guys were sucking on my chest and kissing me. We eventually went to a cabin for some really fun private time, and then emerged for some time in the dark jacuzzi. To me, that is the most erotic place I have ever been in my life -- right out of a 1970's porn. Nothing too hardcore. Mostly just guys kissing and sucking and stroking each other underwater, all is dark silence. My new friend and I made out while guys sucked us off. Eventually, we made it to the locker-room and I asked if he wanted to have dinner. We got dressed and jumped on moto-taxis to Silom. (Again, it felt like an upside-down romance movie, hooking up first at a gay bathhouse and then a romantic bike ride into the night, for a sweet dinner -- like a date in reverse.) We ate on Silom Road and I learned he was a marine engineer, traveling the world fixing massive ships, but was currently living with his family on a small Thai island. He was in Bangkok for a conference.) We went back to my hotel after and had a wonderful time together, and he slept over. We definitely both fell in love that night. I left for Koh Samui the next morning and we kept in touch by Line. We met up again in Bangkok two weeks later and had a WILD NIGHT at the foam party at Babylon. It exceeded my wildest expectations. Definitely the most erotic, crazy night of my life. (I wonder if Thais realize that these experiences are not available in most parts of the world.) My marine engineer and I still keep in touch via Line and hope to reunite sometime this year.
