    Brazilian Saunas

    1) Many of the guys online also work at either 202 on Wednesday or 117 on Tuesday which are the busiest nights at each sauna and yes you will find the same type if not the exact person at the saunas! 2) No, I probably have spent in excess of 500 nights in Brazilian saunas and never had a problem. A few guys over the years said they had something taken but with cameras in all the locker rooms and the traffic in them I don’t think that should be a concern. If it is, keep your wallet and phone etc with you in a drawstring bag! 3) Either. Again no problem but I use Uber almost exclusively because of cost and convenience 4) Yes it is done, years ago before smart phones and when Corujinhas the infamous hustler restaurant was open it was common for the Americans to meet up after going to the saunas. 5) He hasn’t been involved in that or been to Brazil for a number of years!

@Sunchaser12 I can't wait to hear Tom's answer to this but the question is WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? And what do you look like? If your goal is to find a lover or a boyfriend in Rio....Probably is not going to happen unless you are youngish...very attractive and can speak Portuguese... If you are looking for a sugar daddy or boyfriend experience...you can most definitely get that.... It is going to be transactional all day long....now you may be able to develop a "friendship" with some of the guys you meet in Brazil but you will be paying for meals or lodging or evenings out to party or simply giving them money....UNLESS you are young and hot and attractive and they just want to hang out with you... You are asking a question that has been answered time and time again within this forum and based on how you positioned that question, you are naive and a little delusional.... You want to have a good time in a country that offers that for a price...don't go into it thinking that one of the guys is going to fall in love with you because you are such a nice guy because you will simply be looked at as a walking ATM... @Tomcal I can't wait for you to answer this again...Smile

  4. After 1997 crisis Thailand rebounded spectacularly but not without a scratch. Monumrnts of that economic collapse are dotting Bangkok here and there, most prominent I guess, one for all to see is shell of highrise right beside Saphan Taksin station. About post's main issue my prediction is that as soon as conditions will return to something resembling normalcy and borders will open, Silom/ Patpong will rebound quite fast. Humanity likes good times and this neighborhood is good at delivery of that. But most likely not all bars and massages will re-open and not all our favorite guys will return as in meantim ethay may find other opportunities. I'm in talks with IMF and fully committed to support their package for Thailand with my own contribution as soon as it will be feasible ie. borders will open , airlines will start flying and I don't die of virus or something in meantime. You have it in writing here

  5. Trying to predict the future is often an exercise in futility but I won't let that keep me from giving it a try. When what eventually became known as Covid19 first began to get the attention of posters, the general sentiment of the board was that it's being overblown and the Silom/Patong scene would muddle through. Not an unreasonable assumption because at the time it was almost exclusively a China-centric issue. The first indications that it might be a bit more serious than that was a steady decline in tourists arriving into Bangkok. But most, myself included, assumed it would be a temporary setback. Fast forward a few months and we know that was short-sighted. I decided the best way to go out trying to discern the future was to look to the past. First--and probably most important--was the 1997 Asian financial Crisis. Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia (specific to Thailand's experience) I believe is noteworthy: From 1985 to 1996, Thailand's economy grew at an average of over 9% per year, the highest economic growth rate of any country at the time. Inflation was kept reasonably low within a range of 3.4–5.7%.[32] The baht was pegged at 25 to the U.S. dollar. On 14 May and 15 May 1997, the Thai baht was hit by massive speculative attacks. On 30 June 1997, Prime Minister Chavalit Yongchaiyudh said that he would not devalue the baht. However, Thailand lacked the foreign reserves to support the USD–Baht currency peg, and the Thai government was eventually forced to float the Baht, on 2 July 1997, allowing the value of the Baht to be set by the currency market. This caused a chain reaction of events, eventually culminating into a region-wide crisis.[33] Thailand's booming economy came to a halt amid massive layoffs in finance, real estate, and construction that resulted in huge numbers of workers returning to their villages in the countryside and 600,000 foreign workers being sent back to their home countries. The baht devalued swiftly and lost more than half of its value. The baht reached its lowest point of 56 units to the U.S. dollar in January 1998. The Thai stock market dropped 75%. Finance One, the largest Thai finance company until then, collapsed.[35] On 11 August 1997, the IMF unveiled a rescue package for Thailand with more than $17 billion, subject to conditions such as passing laws relating to bankruptcy (reorganizing and restructuring) procedures and establishing strong regulation frameworks for banks and other financial institutions. The IMF approved on 20 August 1997, another bailout package of $2.9 billion. Right after the 1997 Asian financial crisis income in the northeast, the poorest part of the country, rose by 46 percent from 1998 to 2006. Nationwide poverty fell from 21.3 to 11.3 percent.[ By 2001, Thailand's economy had recovered. The increasing tax revenues allowed the country to balance its budget and repay its debts to the IMF in 2003, four years ahead of schedule. The Thai baht continued to appreciate to 29 Baht to the U.S. dollar in October 2010. I'm not saying that the Covid19 crisis will rise to this level. It could very well run a course not unlike it is doing now in China. Yes, it was a crushing blow to the Chinese economy but conditions appear to be on the rebound. Although it's likely there will be hiccups along the way, we'd like to believe that the worst is behind them. If we agree that the first cases were detected (but not widely reported) in November that means the episode has taken roughly four months to stabilize. If Thailand can continue to pursue strong containment measures, there's little reason not to believe that it can have a similar outcome. But Thailand is a least a few months behind the curve compared to China so a it seems reasonable that it could achieve stabilization by June. But what would "stabilization" look like on the ground? I think we know what it won't be like: a magical return to business as usual overnight. More likely, it will be a slow rebound that may track track China's evolving progress as it claws its way back. The government announced yesterday that it's prepared to borrow heavily to stimulate the Thai economy. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) could once again emerge as a prime source of the needed funds. So how would this all translate to the status of the bars and other venues in the Silom/Patpong? That I find a bit more challenging because all jobs are not going to return at the same time or at the same rate. I'd think that jobs in the malls and food vending might be among the first to start climbing. Tourism would lag for several reasons. Tourists who would normally be counted upon return again may have lost their jobs or had their incomes reduced. Some of those who are able to travel may still have lingering fears about the virus. As airlines begin to slowly ramp up service, they'll likely be very cautious about increasing capacity. Although they'll all be looking for cash flow, there main objective will be optimum fleet utilization as opposed to engaging in fare wars with competitors. In other words, don't necessarily look for huge bargains. So aviation-related jobs will definitely tick up but at a restrained pace. The same with hotels. The results will be that those who made their living in these industries could well decide to look elsewhere. As for the entertainment zones and massage shops get the go-ahead to resume business, it's not impossible that young Thai men and women may look upon these occupations more favorably. They did, after all, once dominate these jobs. But what actually happens may be altogether different.

  6. My prediction is as soon as thailand and many other countries started to open up their borders, we will see big bars (the like of moonlight, lucky boys, jupiter, BBB in pattaya) will see a surge of boys eager to start earning money back. Unfortunately, the well off, popular boys might not be eager to return early due to fear of the virus still lingers and most likely they are well enough (either by savings or by sponsors) to even have that option. Fortunately, a range of new boys will begin to show up in bars as well. This will be those who are heavilly affected by the virus, especially those in tourism or businesses relying on tourists, as well as those affected due to lockdown (basically any industries not included in essential services, including construction, retails etc). The quality will be mixed and distribution as always few of high quality, majority will be average. Businesses will definitely start to close down as they cant take the hit of not be able to operate for 1-2 months. This includes bars and massage places too. But we see this happened every year anyway. But fear not, while it may takes a while, new ones will open soon. Meanwhile, the bars that actually manage to stay open will see increase of patronage and will enjoy a great amount of income initially. Thai economy will definitely suffer, and recovery will be slow but i believe the sex industry will be amongst the first to recover. There is a reason why prostitution is the oldest profession in the world.

  7. The absurd requirement of a "fit-to-fly" medical certificate as well as a completely pointless "certification" from a Thai embassy or consulate (to certify what? That the Thai person carrying a Thai passport is actually Thai?) leads to this: https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/1888735/about-300-thais-stranded-in-malaysia I wonder what the medical certificate is supposed to say in this case, as "fit-to-fly" does not apply, as they are not flying. As it happens, Covid-free is NOT a requirement. So a corona-positive person not in hospital (thus obviously unable to travel at all) can still enter. So it's just COMPLETELY pointless paperwork just wor the sake of paperwork. Luckily, one Thai person has taken up the challenge and put it to the courts in Thailand: https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/1888315/fit-to-fly-order-challenged https://www.khaosodenglish.com/politics/2020/03/27/government-sued-for-barring-thai-citizens-from-going-home/ I really hope for all the poor Thais struck by this absurdity that the court will show some sense and void those idiotic regulations. Fingers crossed.

  8. From Bangkok Post Pattaya pub becomes community kitchen PATTAYA: The coronavirus pandemic has turned a pub in this resort city into a community kitchen serving free food for workers who have lost jobs when the global tourism industry ground to a halt. Surajai Attanart, owner of the Differ Night Pub, and his workers feed up to 1,000 residents who have fallen on hard times due to the pandemic that has infected 530,000 worldwide, killed more than 24,000 and prompted many countries including Thailand to close their borders. Thailand’s measures to suppress the spread of the disease have left many without jobs as many businesses, mainly in entertainment and spas, were closed down. Like many others, Surajai’s business is hurting, but he wanted to contribute to the community. “On our part, we’re giving out free food to people who have borne the brunt of the situation. At least, (this way), they can save around 40 to 50 baht for a meal per day, adding a lifeline for them,” Surajai, 43, told Reuters. About a thousand lunch boxes are packed daily in the pub’s kitchen, where dozens of the remaining workers gather to prepare ready-to-eat meals. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/1887855/pattaya-pub-becomes-community-kitchen

    Pattaya Shuts Down

A favorite gay playground, the beach city of Pattaya has suffered enormous losses with COVID-19. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/1888795/pattaya-devastated-as-coronavirus-hits-travel The video below is a bit long, but if you have been to Pattaya, you will note that many places seem abandoned. All of those cute guys and no place to dance!

  10. The beach seems quite busy still, with pimps, streetwalkers and farang milling around. Social distancing not being observed and I'm surprised by the number of elderly farang still on the beach and not isolating themselves. Everyone has an equal chance of being infected by this virus if exposed to it but the impact on the elderly and those with pre-existing medical conditions (COPD, asthma, heart disease, hypertension, etc) is worse. Click on the link below for the video. Please take care, everybody. https://youtu.be/dwLZbmO41ao

My first trip was shortly after 9/11 and I took it against all advice, worked well. I understand virus threat is completely different matter and much harder to prevent but at one point we need to start normal lives.

Thanks Tomcal and Redxs soooo much! Appreciate it... I was meant to travel but am in lockdown in NZ after leaving Sydney to travel. Tomcal as a seasoned expert and someone who has been so many times, I am keen to know your personal experience around finding a genuine connection with true affection with any of the garotos? I’m not naive but it would be nice if there is real friendship with romance, and natural tesao not simply something transactional where the guy is mostly straight, needs straight porn and viagra or has to close his eyes to think of someone else to get make it happen. Have you had anything long term or even relationships form out of this?

  14. sadly , suspicion of human trafficking is plausible explanation. People are tricked promised good jobs , send off with all decorum including return ticket and booked accommodation and they finish up in servitude or outright slavery in some brothel , farm or fish processing ship. World is beautiful place but not THAT beautiful for many.

  15. I may have confused readers when talking about the entertainment business. I not intend this to mean cock (as suggested by Vinapu) or offs. More the entertainment provided by the bar business. Many posters over several years have talked about how the 1990s saw the peak as far as entertainent value in the gogo bars is concerned. The boys actually danced. They were fun and seemed intent on giving customers a good time. The shows were mostly fun and often creative. Was there not also a less aggressive commercial aspect for customers? From my experience of the Bangkok bars over the last few years, the entertainment value in many has greatly diminished. Standing still with hands behind their backs in a slow rotation or at most a form of soft shoe shuffle has replaced real dancing at the same time as prices have risen very quickly way above any reasonable level. In my experience with few exceptions the boys from neighbouring countries mostly seem less concerned about the good time element in the bars. Perhaps I visited on the wrong nights.

  16. Yeah we dont know when. The prediction is for when its over, whenever that is. I also want to add that due to this lockdown, many boys i follow have more time to work out. Of course they have to improvise unless they have a home gym. But that also means they will be ripped when they finally can go back to bar. On the other hand, i also see some boys complained of gaining weight due to staying at home.

1 many of the guys online work in the saunas and some do not. many guys in the sauna don't work online. sauna prices are a little cheaper than online prices. sauna's are a little safer too - as guys have to show ID and will generally be personally known to saunas staff. plus, you can check guys out before meeting them. 2 I don't. don't think the lockers would allow you to use one though as key lock mechanism is inside the door. 3 I prefer Uber these days. 4 I've met up with a few guys and try and keep in touch and have made a few friends. Post your dates on here. 5 Never heard of this guy - who is he?

You did enough for him as you said on your own words his life is his and yours his yours he has to take responsibility for his life and he must find a solution by himself, Vietnamese boy that had been with me almost 2 weeks in Thailand and I paid him generously for his services (more than agreed in advance) contact me today and asked me for money because he doesn't have any work at the moment in Vietnam I declined because of the Corrona virus the situation in my country is bad too more over I don't think I have to take a responsebility for a boy who I met only once and apart from MB-client relationship there wasn't anything more than that between us, I fall in love with his body and he for my wallet .no more no less.

  24. IMHO, the borders need to be closed and this requirement was the way to do it without directly stating it. A good start. As for the Thais abroad, I don't get that either and it should not happen. I have many friends in Thailand who are considering moving back to USA now but the situation there is worse. Again, just me, but everyone that can needs to stay put and wait this out. No travel for fun.

  25. except.... it's not only Thailand. Right now Austria requires a medical certificate for some classes of travelers, according to IATA. More importantly, until the recent - very recent - spate of countries closing their borders entirely, there were others. French Polynesia had it quite a while ago.. I think the medical certificate is inappropriate for Thai nationals and permanent residents. Beyond that, it is what it is - an effective ban, but if someone really wants to go to the expense to get the certificate and ignore all the advice about not traveling, then he/she can come in. That's how sausages are made. But it's not like Thailand invented the medical certificate.

Well, yes, he takes Übers and is on W’zap and IG so he is “visible” and you have likely seen images, but he does not take referrals from clients and is not ‘labelled’ or in the game sufficiently to have his name randomly shared. He is a soash-mead-plus-serendipity stumbled-across dude. When I myself make such an inquiry I typically expect to have a ready answer to the Qs posed: What have you done for us lately? What makes you a good sponsor to this quality hunk? A few trusted buds here have the info, but there had been cultivated a foundation of trust. Many readers here agree with this principle and approach.

Gym personal training fee hot gogo with competition aspirations very reasonable. $40USD for 3 hours. In case you are wondering why 3 hours when typical sesh 1 hour, at 50 minutes of the planned 1 hour I could not take my drooling any longer ... had to get down to the business of rehydrating and balancing electrolytes with think creamy salty protein finish at about 3 hours. Now I have to make up for missed sets of reps.

  28. Happy to help. The site does not make enough income to support the cost of running it. Donations are accepted at any time. jk Sites ebb and flow and money comes and goes. It is never enough to pay programmers, keep up with new code, upgrades, security, etc the way I like to do it. This site is a passion of love for me. I love hookers. I love people who love hookers. I love gay sex and I love people who love gay site. But, I mostly love gay hooker sex. So, I am OK with not making ends meet on the site. However, the costs of running the site is VERY low. Unless I decide to pay myself a salary. Then, the costs go up. My understanding is that Daddy needs money for his lifelihood from his site. I don't begrudge him that. And, I hope he finds what he needs to life his life happy.
