My next enjoyable meet-up was with a guy I have known for 3 years. He lives in Dipolog City, on Mindanao, and is 19 yo. We have often talked about meeting there but this trip I invited him to come to Cebu City. He quickly agreed and even suggested taking the over-night ferry rather and flying from Dipolog to Cebu. Cost me 2500PHP, USD50, for his trip. He turned out to be Joy!! Lots of energy, speaks great English, and is most engaging. He was nicely built but not any hunk. He has met several Daddies in the PH, including some Filipino ones. He did have concerns about HIV and said we had to use Condoms. Not only for fucking but sucking. That all went away after we meet and he made Dad HAPPY HAPPY!!! To bad he could only stay for three days. But we did an afternoon of site-seeing. He is studying Tourism in College. I enjoyed seeing some places in Cebu city I had not been to previously. And he was really into Selfies!! We hired a taxi for the afternoon. It cost 1000PHP, about USD20. The driver took us to places and then waited for us there. Actually taxis in the Philippines are CHEAP!! The flag drop is 40PHP, USD1, and it seldom costs more that 100PHP, USD2, to get any place in the City. One day we went out to the new SM Seaview. It is now the biggest mall in the Philippines. I was taking him Ice Skating. But after getting there and his seeing people skating and falling he got "cold feet". Still a nice afternoon and a chance to buy him some gifts. Pasalubong!! He did have one difficult experience. He wanted to take Chicharron, fired pork skins, back to Dipolog City. He found a shop near that the Condo what sold them and bought 5 bags. But when he got to the ferry they made him throw them away. Problem with the Asia Swine Fever!! But he took it all in stride!! Those are the kind of Filipino guys I enjoy the most!!

My "like" is not for the bar closings, but that final salutation about Trump being defeated!

Somewhere I read that the suspicion on the exorbitantly high pricing at the private hospitals was that those hospitals really don't want the hassle of COVID-19 patients, so they are using the high pricing to deter people from going there.

That's precisely how I feel. I had to postpone my April/May trip to Italy, and if it means I avoid getting sick or infecting others, I'm good with that. Me neither. I always have the desire to experience beauty and fun. My new home in Italy is absolutely gorgeous, especially with a few naked men walking around arguing over the flowers. The high that comes from a beloved visit will just have to be moved to a later date, when it is safer for everyone. I'm happy to help Italy's economy when the time is right. America already benefits from my tax dollars. The professional adults in health care are all cautioning for social distancing and no gathering. COVID-19 is not the same thing as choosing to take PrEP or suck dick without a condom. COVID-19 is highly contagious, and its incubation period with no evident symptoms may last five days. That's plenty of time to do damage to others. IMO, this virus has less to do with "call as an adult" and everything to do with being a responsible human being.

As the week has progressed, (degressed?) I imagine many people have come to a new reality about what the corona virus is doing to our lives. Nothing good, it seems. Soon many more stores will be closed as business drops or government edicts shutter them. There are still flocks of students on Florida beaches, but I'll bet next Sunday there will be a lot fewer. Once the virus counts skyrocket, as expected, more people will indeed take this very seriously. Which is to say that I am self-isolating and am grateful to this site and its owner, a Mr. Oz. It gives me something to do. Like pal around with that New York rascal.

I have not been to the bars recently and will not go. I do not wish to put myself or others at risk. It would make perfect sense to close all the bars and IMHO a good move to help contain things. This is not going away and to not minimize the risks seems reckless. It is the role of government to protect. I do think more stringent measures will be placed on all entering Thailand in the coming days and more closures will be announced.

I agree but try getting something done In Washington. It took the threat of the Corona virus to get Trump and Pelosi over the hump. Unfortunately he used a shotgun approach to the drug trade, killing off many users along with the sellers. And I suspect his eagerness to eliminate corruption was fueled more by his desire to replace them with cronies loyal to him. Dictators aren't prone to change their stripes.

I reply to Mack's questions. My contacts are all through PlanetRomeo. But I understand that Whatsup is very popular in the Philippines. My "meet-ups" are more about Companionship than Sex! Enjoy going to a nice resort and enjoying the beach or pools. And of course taking a nice Pinoy Guy with me. But again this trip my plans for those did not work out. the Crimson was a great alternative. Beautiful swimming pool, great breakfast buffet, and adjacent to a huge mall, Festival Mall. So to each their own... But it is still More Fun in the Philippines!!!

Thanks for your interest in my trip and experiences in the Philippines. So I will go into more detail... First my most enjoyable meet-up which was my last week in Manila. My guy just turned 30 yo. He is in great shape with a lean swimmers bod, nice pecs, beautiful ass, and loves Older Men!!! I met him 4 years ago. So you can say we have an ongoing relationship. He knows I have a long time Partner here in the USA and that is not an impediment to us enjoying our time together. He sincerely wants to meet and it is never about money. We met on Planet Romeo. He paid me back in 6 months. The next year I bought him a ticket to Cebu City and we went to Bantayan Island for 1 week. Bantayan is the un-discovered Boracay of the Philippines. Beautiful white sand beaches. We relaxed in the sun and did karaoke and Red Horse beers at night. Again SEX SEX SEX!!! But this trip my arthritic hip was giving me problems. So we did not go hiking. And the Resort turned out to be on the hillside above the beach. Lots of steps to negotiate. Not so good for me. This year's trip had many problems. He was living back in Manila so I planned a trip to the Laiya Beach area in Bantangas, south of Manila. But the Tall Volcano blew it's top and dumped gray ash on all the beaches. So I cancelled that plan and booked to meet my Guy in Manila. BUT he was no longer in Manila. He had moved to Dumaguete City on Negros to take care of his old Auntie. AHHH obligations of Family. So what to do. I had booked my flight back to the USA from Manila. So I bought him flights up to Manila to meet and then return. That cost me about USD100 tht was not planned. It turns out I and he just got out of Manila before the flights were locked down. And that is my Last Story, First... Still love the Philippines and the guys there!!

To be clear - it's just something that Anutin (not the most stable of gents) has said he will propose on Monday. It has not been imposed yet. Whether Prayut et al. go along with it and then exactly what it will look like will be important. If they toss the sacred coin and decide to close venues, how they actually roll that out will be important. The Bangkok Post article says the committee will specify venues to be closed "zone by zone." Who really knows what that will mean. There are lots of possible outcomes. Maybe Prayut et al. reject the idea (for now). Maybe they close all bars and restaurants. (Personally, I doubt that.) Maybe they limit it to the designated "Entertainment Zones," which might include Patpong and Soi Cowboy and Nana, but maybe not Soi 4??? But obviously that leaves out a lot. Maybe they close all nightclubs to pick up Thonglor/Ratchada. Maybe restaurants can stay open. Lucky Boys serves food. Hmmmm. At this point, it seems that consulting the Sacred Oracle of Tibet is about as reliable as any method for as predicting what any government policy will be in day or so, particularly this one. Yes it's a possibility. If you would otherwise go out to a bar or club, maybe more of a reason to do it if tonight might be the last night for a while. That's my plan. ****** Separately, FYI - Maybe people have already seen - Mahanakorn Rooftop closed for thorough cleaning after an employee tested positive.

It is important to note that the concept of coyote dancers at Thai disco/clubs is different than go-go bars in Silom etc. The dancers are there to entertain on stage (and most will allow guests a quick grope for a drink/tip) and circle/mingle around and drink with guests at their tables afterwards. Often they will be offered drinks (and tips) at a table and they will drink, talk and be friendly (socialize) with the guests (and encourage them to drink more). If the chemistry is right and with a generous offer I certainly think some coyote dancers will go with you, but more diplomacy /a more discreet approach will be required. First establish a friendly connection/vibe and make the guy interested in you and then discreetly let him know your intentions and offer. I'm sure some dancers will decline (politely) as many are presumably straight or not up for paid sex, but some may be up for some add. easy money. Give it a try! One additional note/a word of caution: as Fake and other similar venues are primarily for Thai guests the dancers may have very limited English language skills and there is a high chance that you will find yourself unable to communicate with them (unless you speak/understand thai).
