The real day 13 - Bangkok tourist revisit 2.0 I just realized I've been skipping 1 day on the labelling (skipped day 6), so from day 7 onwards, need to change the label to one day behind. Anyway, Ive been chatting with another forum member, @Syphion, who will come to bangkok for the first time. He told me he met with Divinemadmen already and interested to join the meeting yesterday but he left his phone and didnt noticed my text. At midnight, he texted me when im in moonlight saying sorry, and he asked if im free tomorrow, and i said yes, and we are set to meet tonight, at 8pm same place, red dragon bar. In the morning, Syphion told me he finally got a chance to do touristy stuff today. I dont really have any plan today so i asked if he would like to meet and i can bring him around the shopping mall icon siam as well as few other interesting place along the river. He is down for it so we plan to meet at Saphan thaksin BTS around 9.30am as our hotels isnt that close from each other. Syphion took the tuktuk thinking its quicker, and says the name of the BTS station, but instead the tuktuk bring him to the nearest BTS, and he needs to take the BTS to Saphan thaksin. I told him ive never took tuktuk in Bangkok, as i believe they are one of the tourist trap in Bangkok though in some other area, you dont have much choice but to hire tuktuk (hua hin for example). We finally met at the BTS station and went down to queue for the Iconsiam free shuttle. Its still early morning, so the queue isnt long and weather wise is also not so hot. At Iconsiam, we went around the ground floor street food and floating market and Syphion jokingly said he can write off floating market experience now lol. We buy some deserts, and after seeing the dance show somewhere in the middle of the market, we decided to explore the rest of the mall. Of course, I brought him to the garden terrace outside the Apple stores, and we also go all the way up to the exhibition halls floor, where there is a photography exhibition going on. After that, we went back to the ground floor for lunch. After that, we wanted to take the boat to Wat Arun, but we both was busy chatting and missed the stop lol. So we go to Grand palace instead at the next stop. Syphion says he is not interested to go inside the grand palace nor Wat Pho, so we just walked towards Tha Thien Pier and took the ferry to cross to Wat Arun. We spend some time here for picture taking and after that we went back to Sathorn pier and went seperate ways. Syphion wanted to sleep for the night, and i went to silom and decided to try one of the massage places. I walked along suriwong, and just wanted to have a foot massage and saw one few guy in front of Mantra massage and decided to try this place. The guy bring me up to second floor, and there is no sofa for foot massage, so he brings me to the matress on the floor, usually for thai massage. He did try to persuade me to change to body massage, but im not in the mood, and havent really showered yet, and dont think i want to take a shower there. Only curtains seperating other mattresses, and there is already another customer inside. The foot massage was actually really good and last quite a while too and the masseur moved to giving HJ without stopping to ask or negotiate tips. Alas, he didnt speak much english at all, so its a bit hard to get me in the mood, and its not for lack of trying. I still tip him for the effort but not as much as i would had it been enjoyable. Went back to hotel after to freshen up and out for dinner before heading to Red dragon for another forum member meet up.

Day 13 - Back to Bangkok We woke up quite early today, and i decided to follow Y to wear he had his breakfast yesterday. Y told me yesterday he actually ate steak for breakfast. I was equally in disbelief, both the fact that one can eat steak at breakfast, as well as the fact that there is a restaurant offering steak at breakfast time. Apparently Y found a nice french restaurant/cafe on a street a block from our hotel. I ordered french toast set with coffee, and Y, again ordered steak lol. Price is reasonable. Back at hotel, reconfirmed with reception on our shuttle to airport. Before leaving the room for checkout, I gave Y his tips. We arrived at the airport on time, not many people except for one or two group of tours. At the counter, they asked to weight our carryon, something that DMK didnt bother to do before. Flight was on time, and we took the taxi back to silom. Y asked the taxi to drop him off at the traffic light near chongnongsi bts, which is close to where he lives and taxi continue to drop me at my hotel, Furama. Checked-in and in my room by 5pm. Took a nap before heading out to eat dinner and back to hotel and ready for my night adventure. As i walked toward Silom, i bumped into Y and his friend getting ready to go to jupiter. Tonight however is another meeting with fellow forum member, @DivineMadman and @Keithambrose. We met at red dragon bar, at around 8pm. We chat for quite a long time comparing notes about boys, bars, massage places, as well as weahter politics, immigration as well as our plan for tonight. We drink and talked until close to 11pm, when keith and david announced they will go back for rest. Tonight i wanted to go to Moonlight. I already had my eye on myanmar guy, K, Jericho rosales look-alike, who i already saw on my first visit to moonlight this trip, and offed him LT before on my previous trip where he used to work in screwboy. Not my favorite place but still allow me access to the model boom boom shake dance routine, and at the center will be Babe, though i prefer at the end where ill be closer to Nut but hey, i did came in late and Babe is cute hot and sexy anyway. For the first time as well, i saw Spai doing show, where he is the main with another ladyboy doing a number that is quite sexy. A saw me, but not for tonight, so i gave him 100 baht note for still being the best body there. I asked mamasan to bring K to me and off him without delay. He stills remember me on my first visit this trip, and this time i plan to off him so no point of waiting. He changed to his street cloth and off we go. I guess partly my fault for not confirming at the bar if he can do LT or not, but thinking back, I wouldnt trade other guy anyway that night, so ST it is. His service is as before, great passionate and eager to please. His smile is a winner and he stays with me for more than 2 hours before he goes back home. So far, all my off in bangkok has been a repeat.

I always saw that phrase as a cheap and convenient cop-out. Bloomberg was TERRIBLE. It brought back memories of his poor debating skills. During analysis last night, David Plouffe mentioned that Bloomberg hasn't debated in over ten years. That's a long time to be without practice, especially for a privileged old man. As of last night, it looks like money may be the only thing that saves him. He actually may have no choice but to buy the election. He'll convince people through sharp advertising that he is the man to defeat Trump. It is a shame, because in speeches and one-on-one conversations he can exude brilliance. I was stunned to watch Elizabeth Warren slice and dice Bloomberg's billionaire balls on national television. It was TV theater to behold. How lucky it was she was standing right next to him. It gave her attack more intensity. I have to say, for the first time, Elizabeth Warren really impressed me. She proved to me last night that she can go head-to-head with Trump and castrate Trump, too, on the debate stage. Biden improved last night, but that isn't saying a lot. In the heat of challenge, Amy Klobuchar showed a very unattractive, sourpuss side last night. Admittedly, Mayor Pete came to the debate with brilliant strategy to attack her, and he performed his attack with meticulous finesse. Amy was not prepared, and she got lost in her insecure-laden bluster. It was another battle to behold. I thought Mayor Pete showed his military prowess last night, and I was impressed, once again. How much more money can I send this guy?

In January I got a quick look into BoyzBoyzBoyz through their front door left ajar. There were about 15 guys on stage, all in jeans and T-shirts. Not a bare chest to be seen. I was not going to spend money on that; turned around and went into Cupidol instead. It was about 10pm, and there were about 10 - 12 customers in BoyzBoyzBoyz, making it look way less than half full. Like Pong said, you need to define what's "good" in your view. If you're referring to professional standard of Swedish massage (with oil) then there's Rapee on Silom Road and Tarntawan Massage on Surawong Road. They generally come with hj though I quite often go there only for the massage and wave away the offer of extras. I'm just back from 10 days in BKK...Stayed at the Tarntawan and booked it sometime ago after they remodeled , 1200 baht a night net, including tax, service charge and breakfast for 2....I think that's the lowest price I've ever paid there. The staff are all still helpful and friendly. I needed a button sewed on my shirt and the housekeeper did it for me (I can't sew). Room had good a/c, good internet (that seems new for them) and the sheets were good, bed was comfortable.....They seem to show different promos on their website, which before I remember them only showing stupid rates, easier to do better with internet bookings.

i second the recommendation that Cartegena is worth 3 days max unless you want to venture to beaches outside. Loved Medellin for it's people and all the little towns surrounding it. Highly recommend a prolonged coffee farm trip if you like coffee. Jardin and Jericho is amazing, and stay overnight or more. Don't miss Andres de carne outside Bogota for the wackiest decor but decent food. Fun night. Would be interested to hear how things are without Uber...i couldn't imagine my trip without it..the safety and peace of mind it brought.

@curiousnature12 I have stayed in an Airbnb in a apartment building next to the Cali Marriott you mention! I had an apartment with an amazing city view on the 13th floor for 35USD/night. Why would you stay in an overpriced hotel where it is more of a hassle to bring a steady flow of boys if you van have your own private place for a quarter of the hotel rate? What do I do during the day when NOT meeting boys.....huh? Meeting boys of course! Boys are ready whenever you want it! Besides that: visit the old church hill, the promenade, the parque or Chipe Chape shopping mall. Cruising the promenade bring back great memories... In my opinon: 5 days Bogota CAN be sufficient. Big city sure, but only 10% is worth it / safe. And you will more than just architecture in Cartagena...trust me . Very very humid though...that is true.

I don't necessarily think a tour guide is necessary. I would say just talk to a few guys on Grindr or other gay dating apps and meet for food (it's a great way to gauge if there are any chemistry and connection. If there is none, both parties can part ways after food without feeling hurt. You are in a foreign country after all, so it's better to keep the fuss at a minimum level. I would say do not go for drinks because who knows if your drinks could be compromised). Many guys are very friendly and love to show you their culture if you can cover transportation, food, and entrances to museums. I met a couple nice guys just for sightseeing. I notice that you have like 4-5 days in Bogota. I don't think that's enough since Bogota is a huge city. But again, I am a slow traveler. But something you may want to keep in mind.

I decided to tag on this thread for a short trip report on my recent visit over the Chinese New Year weekend. My parents wanted to go somewhere over this period so I conveniently suggested to them Bangkok, a place where they have never been to. My brother would also tag along on this trip. He has been to Bangkok a few times. This trip was also a self-treat for my birthday weekend. It was a last minute decision when the booking was made as I could not confirm my work schedule. Day time was fully occupied with bringing my family around to the touristy spots. I was tired by night time and had to force myself to go out every night. Due to technical issues, check in luggages collection was delayed upon arrival. It was late by the time we reached the hotel and I had to give the first night a miss. On the second night, after settling my family back in the hotel, I headed straight to Screwboys. My one and only aim of this trip was to see adorable Myanmar boy from Screwboys again. Though I understand that boys come and go in this industry, I was disappointed that Myanmar boy had indeed stopped working and went back home. I expected he would have at least stayed until the end of his work permit in March, and he had lived in Thailand for many years before this. Therefore I thought the chances of him still being around was high. Mamasan confirmed this with a Lao boy, his friend, standing behind me. I have not seen Lao boy previously, I had to double take on Lao boy as he was adorably cute. CNY Friday night was the most crowded I've seen Screwboys in terms of customers but not the boys. Something felt missing in all the bars this trip, and I realised it was the lack of Viet boys. Most of them I assume went back home for CNY. Show was ongoing and I waited for it to be over to see the boys lineup. I was eyeing two boys, one of which was Lao boy. On stage, Lao boy avoided eye contact with all customers and stared straight at the back wall. He looked dreary and tired which made me hesitant to call him. He was avoiding my eye contact the whole time and was even unhappy with the tip. Another pissy Lao boy to add to my list. I shared a room with my brother, so I opted to use the short time room. The short time room would be the next door Pavilion Place. The room had two massage tables with face holes pushed to one side, a smaller than queen bed on the other side and a shower cubicle, no toilet. For short time, it was clean and comfortable enough for me. Lao boy was great, very affectionate and a great kisser. We also had good google translate conversation after. He has a day job so that explains why he looked tired. Third night, I headed to Lucky boys. My usual Mamasan said he waited for me the night before. The night before, I bumped into the other Lucky Boys mamasan on the street on the way to Screwboys. Actually I walked along the inner corridor on the opposite side but he still managed to spot me and called me over to say hi. Show was ongoing so Mamasan brought Cambodia boy A, who was already in street clothes, over to say hi. He whispered to message him as per previous time. Mamasan then brought a Myanmar boy, a boy I called for a drink with but didn't off on my previous trip. Again, I felt no connection with the boy but selfishly decided to hold onto him to see if there were anyone better in the line up. Not a lot of choices for boys so I settled for Myanmar boy. Mamasan proposed a larger room down the road at Strand Inn. Room had a big king bed, big bathroom with jacuzzi but only shower curtains as separation and no hot water. As per initial feelings, did not have great connection with Myanmar boy which translated to a not so great session. Fourth and last night, I got an early start as parents were too tired and decided to skip dinner. I decided to check out Banana boys for the first time. It was Sunday night, the slowest night of the week. Show had started and I was seated in the front row. I scanned the boys available, they were seated diagonally to the left beside the stage. Less than ten boys, none that stood out. I headed out before the show ended. I headed to Freshboys next and beautiful Mamasan was not around, only fierce looking and guy mamasan. Only one boy waiter was around. Freshboys still had a decent number of boys, though no one that attracted me except for my handsome straight Thai boy. He was sitting with a customer together with another boy. He wai and smiled at me when he saw me, which was also unusual. He normally has a stern face. I tipped him again as I have done every time I see him. Maybe that loosened him up a bit every time. Did not spend long in Freshboys before I left and headed out to Screw boys. I would have repeated Lao boy again but he was not working that night. With no other alternatives, I made my way to Lucky boys next. I had initially planned to make this an early night by quickly picking a boy as I was extremely tired from the day's activities. No quick pick so my resolve changed to just take my time and relax at Lucky boys till closing time. My usual mamasan informed me the previous night he would be away with a customer with 3 other boys to northern Thailand for a few days. I was stuck with a pushy mamasan, who I ignore most of the time. Lucky boys was starving of boys, only one row of boys was available. There were two boys that were acceptable but I held out, secretly hoping some boys would magically appear late on. I stayed on and stared at the mostly empty stage. I decided to call on a Thai boy who was persistently smiling at me, though not the cute Lao boy smile. Thai boy was likeable and not pushy. Cambodia boy A came in the bar sometime after, again in street clothes probably done for the night after a customer. I was happy with Thai boy and we head out with mamasan to Strand inn. On the way out, Cambodia boy A was chilling on the sofa so I said goodbye to him and promised to look for him on my next visit. He jokingly asked for an 'ang pao' which I obligedly gave. In Strand Inn, we sat on the sofa beside the reception to wait for our room. At that point of time, the other boy that I was eyeing just finished his session with a customer and was about to leave the hotel when he saw us. It turned out he was also Thai and a good friend of my boy. He planted himself next to me and I witnessed first hand the boys discussing the session he had with the customer. Though in Thai, I knew what the discussion was about. After the discussion, attention turned to me as the 2nd Thai boy asked for a threesome, with mamasan also urging me. He was not pushy but more flirtatious. I asked my boy if he was ok, as two friends together could be a nightmare. He gave the ok so I decided why not for my last night. It was the best decision. 2nd Thai boy was a master orchestrator and the leader. Though they did not touch each other, both boys were passionate, proactively flipping roles and was patient, making it a perfect night to end the trip. Day 6 After breakfast, I decided to finally utilise the hotel’s gym and pool to pass time while waiting for my noon appointment. Ten minutes before noon, Cambodia boy A messaged to say he was coming over. He lives in Sathorn, a conveniently short distance away. Sharp at noon, he was at the lobby. Session was great, though I feel his personality lacked the affection I desired. He took concern about the boys I've had this trip. On my previous trip, I had expressed my unsatisfactory straight man experience to him, and he went on about boy vs man. After the session, I headed out to check out Iconsiam which was recommended a few times in this forum. It was easy to get to, taking the short boat ride across from the pier just beside the BTS. Ground floor with the mock floating market was impressively well done. I didn’t spend long and headed back after a late lunch to rest for the night. I left the hotel at 8pm to look for a massage as a warm up. While the gogo bars were thriving, the opposite could be said for the massage shops in the Silom area particularly soi 6. There was a lack of quantity and quality of boys at the shops which have boys sitting outside. Paradise had mostly older men. The Star massage next door, which completed its renovation, and Relax Thai didn't have anyone that drew me. Nakarat boys were the most active, but most to me looked intimidating, though some cute ones appear at night. I have yet to visit Arena and Senso which are crowd favourites, so they might be doing well. The far-off places which I follow on Line also doesn't have boys that made them a must go. Business was slow, he used to come three times a day, now I was his first customer in three days. I asked and he said I could indeed choose a boy, as I considered to come again the next day. The butterfly was determined to fly after the failure the previous night, though a pleasant failure it was. I started panicking a little and to be fair to Myanmar boy, I tipped and let him go as I made my mind he was not the one. He would immediately be invited by another customer and would get offed that night, as many others. My mamasan then pointed to Cambodia boy B on stage, my off from previous trip, and I didn’t recognise him at first. He looked different and he was not there previous nights. I was not sure how he saw me in my seat up high in the back, but he recognised me and started throwing korean hearts. By this time, those left on stage did not appeal to me as my eyes wandered to the boys already sitting with customers. One cute boy sitting just beside me, one beautiful boy across the room with a group, and a dashingly handsome boy with a cute smile with another group right in front of me, all twinkish of course. I decided to tip Cambodia boy B without calling him over, so he did not get the wrong idea, for his valiant efforts at getting my attention. I would have offed him any other night but I was determined for variety that night. Soon, it was show time and I still had no boy with me. My mamasan rewarded me with Cambodia boy B’s company as I had already tipped him. I was reluctant at first but was thankful later as he was an excellent and a thoroughly enjoyable company. In October, he was slightly reserved as it was just his first week into the job, but now he surely has learned the tricks of the trade. He just came back to work that night after two weeks back in Cambodia. With him by my side, it was the first time I appreciated the whole show, and it was spectacular. I decided to check with mamasan and he confirmed it. Cute boy with the customer beside me, who was offed and left just after the show started was back on stage. It didn't feel like I sat there a long but time has passed by fast. My heart told me to move on, to Screwboy to see adorable Myanmar boy as it was my last night. I told mamasan I will go around and come back if I don't find anyone, it was already 1 am then. I headed to Screw boy full of anticipation. Screw boy mamasan greeted me with a big smile and immediately told me that my boy was not there and to choose another boy. I sort of expected it but was disappointed. I called a Cambodian boy to sit with me, I sat with him the previous trip as well but no off. I didn't intend to off him that night as well, but guiltily called him to ask about adorable Myanmar boy, as he is one of the boys that was close to him. Cambodia boy said that five of them gambled from 3am all the way to 10 am without any sleep. Adorable Myanmar boy was the biggest loser, losing twenty thousand, despite Cambodia boy’s plea for him to stop. He was too sad after the big lost to come to work. Young, carefree but also reckless, though how they spend their money is their own right. Mamasan offered to waive the bar fine for an off that night, but no other boys were of interest to me. I bid mamasan goodbye with hugs and promised to be back again soon. I then headed back to Lucky boys. The crowd have thinned and so has the boys. I was more relaxed as I have resigned to the fact there might not be a boy for me. Cambodia boy B was surprisingly still on stage. I again teasingly pointed to the last group of customers in front of me as he pointed to me. Surely, he was called over by the group soon after. I asked mamasan about cute boy that came back after an off and was told he was offed for the second time that night. About ten minutes before 2am, dashingly handsome straight boy with cute smile decided to trot back on stage, not sure where he came from, as he was definitely not offed after drinks with two customers. I immediately called him over, he was surprised, having being on stage just a few seconds and near closing time to be called. He’s a Viet boy. I could sense from the first few exchanges his pleasant attitude and genuity in having a conversation. Though I already got the info from mamasan, he promptly informed, without asking, his limitations; a straight guy and available only for short time. Somehow that honesty made him more attractive, or maybe it was just his dashingly handsome looks. I’ve had beauty, cute, adorable and I needed handsome for my last night. My favourite question for straight guys was whether they have a girlfriend and how many in each country. He sheepishly answered yes, only one in Bangkok. I would be surprised and worried if he answered no. At 2 am sharp, I made my decision to off him. I said goodbye to mamasan with hugs and the same promise to come back again soon. Refreshingly, this dashingly handsome straight Viet boy was positively the most shameless. Most gay boys wear towels, hide under blanket, switch off or dim the lights and some straight boys don’t even bother to remove their jeans. This boy just stripped naked in and out of the shower and onto the bed without a towel and without turning down the lights. I cautiously worked him but he did not stop or restrict anything that I did. He was working hard to satisfy while watching his straight porn intermittently. His pleasant attitude and dashingly handsome looks made it a great final night. I asked him where he was going after, he said he was going home to sleep. Great choice, same my boy, same. Day 7 I woke up feeling slightly down, since it’ll be my last day. I had the full day before my late night flight. Overall, a trip with many great boys that I would thoroughly miss after. This trip report was more for my sake as writing helped extend my good memories of them.

I am in Cairo now. There are plenty of guys asking for money on Grindr. None of them is really to Brazilian standard in terms of appearance, so I haven't tried any. Plus, I am a coward, not sure about the law, culture and safety. I guess I am just gonna be a good sexless tourist.
