  1. 70% of Americans say Trump’s actions tied to Ukraine were wrong: POLL Majority of Americans say Trump did not cooperate with impeachment, sought to hinder investigation, poll says The sad part is that 60 -70 % of Americans know Trump did something wrong, and then obstructed the effort to disclose it. But the Republicans don't give a shit. This is tribal politics. Fuck the truth.

  2. Day 4: Two for the road, and After hours 2: in photos It must be a habit of mine. In Brazil, my usual flights back to the USA are red-eyes. So it has been almost a tradition for me that I spend my last few hours in Sao Paulo or Rio in a boy sauna, leaving my luggage at the sauna front desk and frolicking in the sauna from 6 PM to 9 PM, which is prime boy sauna hours. And the habit of getting two boys as a last off has now been another tradition of mine, by picking one boy at the start, and then having him pick a second boy, based on my specifications. I usually pick a second based on the physicality of the first boy and then picking the opposite. There are days when a muscular hung top would catch my eye, and I’d let him try to get as a second, a boyish leaner and more bottom guy to play with us. Other times I’d have a white and green-eyed swimmer build pick out someone who is more mixed-race and versatile. It’s kind of crazy the variety I can find sometimes in Brazilian saunas. No matter the combination though, I’ve never wondered if the threesomes I choose in Brazil would ever work out. It just works in that country, for some reason. It's probably why I have a lot of it. In Thailand, threesomes are a more complicated matter, it seems. Judging from the feedback here, it seems that there is some trouble getting the right compatibility with the boys. Maybe its cultural, maybe it’s because it’s a bar and in full view of other boys and shyness is a factor, or maybe it’s just not done. I would never ask two Moonlight models for a threesome (and it will be freakin expensive), but for some reason the two I laid eyes on tonight screamed threesome to me. As I take them to Crowne Plaza, it was clear that they had a rapport. A friendly rapport for sure. Let’s hope this is good. At the hotel room Cambodia immediately goes to the bathroom to pee. Myanmar stays behind, and then takes off his shirt and pants. He was back to his Lucky Boys attire. I guess he was more comfortable this way. He looks out the window and stares at that 32nd floor view of the Bangkok skyline. I hug him from behind and he looks back and gives me a kiss on the cheek, and then on the lips. He then faces me, and takes off my shirt and fondles my torso. “You are top or bottom?” he asks, possibly to gauge what was expected night. “Everything,” is my stock answer. He laughs with that million watt smile. He was a pretty one. Handsome sure, but prettier still. He just turned 22, he said. He has lighter skin than most Myanmar boys I know. Everything about him says a boy from Chiang Mai, except for those eyes, big with long lashes. Cambodia emerges from the bathroom still in full dress. They both talk for a minute and Myanmar tells me “I shower first.” It was Cambodia’s turn to be admired, but he is more shy than Myanmar. He kept his clothes on, but immediately hugged me and kissed me and then proceeded to ask me things about my trip. Unsurprisingly his English is much better than most boys I’ve met here (something in the water, or educational system, in Phnom Penh perhaps?). He is also 22, and looks younger. A little bit darker than Myanmar, but no less cute and perhaps even sweeter than Myanmar. We talk until Myanmar emerges from the bathroom, with towel firmly tied to the waist. It's Cambodia's turn to shower. After 2 minutes, Myanmar goes to the bathroom and talks to Cambodia, I am guessing about the off. I hear the water still running when Myanmar emerges and asks me to join them in the bathroom. In the bathroom I am liberated of my shorts and underwear and I see Cambodia drying himself. Myanmar takes me to the shower and then joins me and helps me get clean. Satisfied, Myanmar takes my cock and strokes it until I was hard. Even with three (!) orgasms today it was not hard to stand at attention for this cutie. Myanmar leads me out the shower and see Cambodia, also in a towel sitting at the edge of the tub, waiting for us to be done. All of us, in towels, go to the bedroom. I liberate myself of the towel and lay on the bed. Myanmar speaks a few words to Cambodia, and then Cambodia starts kissing me, and then Myanmar takes my cock and sucks on it. After a while, Myanmar emerges to kiss me as well, and then feeds me his cock. Cambodia goes down and it was his turn to suck my cock. I pull Cambodia up and he takes turns with Myanmar getting attention from my mouth. The things one discovers while in a threesome. In the bar, they both agreed to do everything, and I believed that they would do it. But now, in the threesome, it was clear for me that Myanmar would shine more as a top, and Cambodia would be hotter as a bottom. And that’s what happened. Myanmar was able to top both me and Cambodia, and Cambodia returned the favor to bottom for the both of us. After that, I was able to top Myanmar for a little bit, and that was enough for me to cum, as he was fairly tight. Myanmar came soon after, while deep kissing me and stroking it on Cambodia. Cambodia tried to cum but gave up after a few minutes. Total condoms unpacked: 7. It was around 2:30 by the time we all got showered and fixed up and all condoms and condom wrappers put away. I gave each boy 2000 baht, a pretty great effort and well deserved. I get both their Lines and bid them goodbye. After 2 minutes, I get a thank you Line from Cambodia: I must admit, I was super hungry for food. I haven’t eaten anything in almost 12 hours now, and I’ve met 4 guys since then. I run down and meet Cambodia just outside Crowne Plaza. He flashes me a smile, and thanks me for coming for him. Surprisingly, he takes my hand and we walk along Rama IV to the Surawong Rd direction. He asks me where I wanted to eat. I tell him a sit down restaurant would be nice. Hand in hand still, we make a left on Thaniya and come upon this open air restaurant (really it’s a collection of tables and chairs near a Family Mart) called Thaniya Bar Beer: As we get seats, Cambodia says hi to a lot of the boys already eating there. I see a big party to my right, some boys and mamasans from Lucky Boys. Another party in front of us. I recognize some of the guys in the table. “From Moonlight,” Cambodia says. No models, but some of the familiar mamasans and regular boys were in attendance. I guess this was a popular haunt by the gogo boy bar employees. A nice affable girl gives us menus: Conveniently in Thai and English: Cambodia asks what I liked. I told him to get what he wanted. He jumped at the chance to get the fried duck beaks, as well as some morning glory (very Cambodian-Thai) and other things. I order my usual Thai Omelet and pork things. I was in a good mood. I wanted my last dinner in Thailand to be festive. We order some beers and toast the night. I haven't drank Singha in more than a year! The food was pretty smashing, as expected. The Fried Duck Beaks were quite the treat, especially: Cambodia’s story is fairly typical. From a family of poor farmers just outside of Phnom Penh. Went to Bangkok with help from fellow Cambodian friends to be a waiter. Discovered that he was cute to a lot of people and decided to be a gogo boy to earn way more than waiting tables. He’s still fairly new to the scene, but I must admit that he has this “taking care of customers” part down. The held hands, the kissing, and just the general attentiveness was pretty natural for him. He was curious, as other boys, as to why I look Asian but from the USA. Some just can’t wrap their heads around that. I get this in Latin America too. Don’t get me wrong, the sex I’ve gotten in the trip was pretty good. But it is these moments, connecting with someone who was but a stranger to me 2 hours ago, that really made the trip. Connecting through sex and moments like these. I had these moments more often when I had longer trips, so being able to get it in this condensed trip is, for me, an enormous triumph, considering that I did not have time to have these moments in earnest. I go to Thailand for the sex, but stay for the company. We get the bill (450 baht – is this a lot?) and head back to the Crowne Plaza, still holding hands. He asks if I wanted to do long time tonight. I told him I would want to but finally admitted to him that I was leaving in an hour and half, at 5 AM, to catch a 7:30 AM flight from Suvarnabhumi. He seemed genuinely bummed about this news, but asked if I wanted company to the airport. I was slightly taken aback by the suggestion, but thought, why not? I think the last 10 trips, I always had an escort to the airport. This trip seemed to be no different. At this point it is 3:30 AM. I've had my fair share of late nights and early mornings in Brazil, but I must admit, I've never felt any danger while walking the streets of Bangkok, at least in Silom, as I do approaching a dark alleyway in Rio de Janiero just off of the Lapa district, for example. Next, another one for the road, and final goodbyes…

  3. This is tribal politics, and the Republicans are saying a royal "fuck you" to truth, and a "fuck you" to voters who care deeply about the laws of this land and the U.S. Constitution. These feckless, spineless Trump loyalists don't care about the truth, and they don't care about their historical legacy. They are on-record saying so. All they care about is getting re-elected by the Trump cult so they can stay in power. I have always listened to certain conservative, intellectual voices. From an early age I listened to William F. Buckley Jr., George Will, William Safire, Paul Gigot, Charles Krauthammer, and Peggy Noonan. I didn't always agree with their positions or opinions, but I felt much of their commentary was thoughtful and worthy of my attention and brain power. Because I came out at the age of eighteen, I decided to never vote Republican. Even though I held some conservative viewpoints on certain subjects, like deficit spending and using abortion as a contraceptive, I felt as a proud gay man I wanted the leaders I voted for to protect me, my welfare, and those belonging to my gay brothers and sisters. I often describe myself as a moderate Democrat because I still believe in a few principles that some would call conservative thinking. Today, I continue to listen to certain conservative voices. Steve Schmidt, Nicolle Wallace, David Jolly, and Charlie Sykes are my newest heroes. Except now, most have left the Republican Party or are deeply tormented as they contemplate leaving. Many are saying the Republican Party of Lincoln and Reagan no longer exists. They say Trump owns the party now. It's the Trump Party, a cult of personality. And that personality is a corrupted fraud. Many former Republicans are saying a new party must emerge to replace the current hijacked version. Just today, former Trump fixer Michael Cohen had his lawyers ask a judge for leniency from prison. "He told a judge that he 'sold his soul' in working as President Trump’s lawyer." Republican strategist Rick Wilson said it most brilliantly when he titled his book, "Everything Trump Touches Dies." That is why we need to get America out of Trump's hands. Our future depends on it.

  4. Bucknaway, no fights for me...just talking. I think that Solace can have his own ideas, as I can have mine...opposite in this case. Just typing our thoughts. Just one clarification...I'm usually not a twink-like guys fan, despite I have variable tastes. Just some words about what tomcal said, before arriving to Rodolfo: saunas face bankruptcy only for 2 reasons: Forced and delaied relocation (what tomcal said (like MM)) Naive management (like Lion's) 1- Relocation is dangerous mostly because you have to face the risk of losing customers and boys because they don't like the new location, or because it's in a neighborhood with an increased risk of exposure against people you don't want to know what you're doing, and losing customers because the new place cannot accomodate the same amount of workers or customers as the previous one did. The more time you're spending without working, the more customers you're going to lose. Once you've lost your sauna's customers, it's nearly impossible to get them back inside a new location, because they've already been adsorbed by the remaining ones. This is MM's and MH's (which in the end it was meant to be MM's spinoff) case. 2 - Lion's is not bankrupt (might be pretty close), but it opened in the worst market conditions they could have chosen to face. The 2 major competitors, 117 and 202, are living their most profitable time in Rio since olympics. Getting inside the game with a huge investment, while even more manageable activities like MH have failed, is a very risky choice IMHO. This isn't Lagoa's case since the switch has been done in "realtime". So Rodolfo who's not naive, since he's been running the business for decades, knows that he cannot host the same volume of visitors inside the new location. At the same time he knows that the sauna "lives" in SP, Brazil's fashion capital and he knows that there's a predomint type of boys that most of customers currenly like. Young guys with toned to muscular bodies and nice faces, not too feminine, judging by the size of their regular customers list, and by the size of the queues they cause in the receptions, is the way to go. Keep in mind that a small share of customers has already gone, since some were going to the old Lagoa just to have drink with their friends. Speaking of 117, there's always been a list of guys who didn't meet the standards to work in there...it's totally normal. The last times i went (like 5 times in the last 30 days), i think that the average age didn't even get close to 26/27yo (which a kinda a bit lower than the old Lagoa). There was a 10/15% of nextdoor/twinky type of boys, about a 80% of guys with a swimmer/gym type of body, and the remaining % of boys with a competition like body. This ratio has changed during the times. And Monique, who's kind of a genius in this market and will never face the risk of a forced relocation since she owns the building, knows that by the time goes, the population of the saunas has to adapt to the customer's demand and to the internet's competition. So if Rodolfo is trying to import the 117's model which worked for 20 years in Rio (and I think that this is what he's going to do), to keep the highest standard among the most demanded boys to cut the potential losses caused by guys who work in there but that attract only the 30% of the customers instead of the 80% (i.e.), I don't see anything of strange. Probably this choice is also supported by statistics...do you think that the reception doesn't know how many customers "Mr. x" averages each month? Or how many garotos my VIP customers "Mr. Y" averages each day? In the end it's like running a supermarket where every product has nearly the same price...if you're downsizing from a 6000m^2 surface to a 4000 one, you'll have to pull from the display the products which you know you're selling less. You'll lose customers...some will move to a local competitor (if exists) which holds those products, some will just buy it on Amazon...Internet. Still better than losing those who buy the best selling ones, just beacuse they're over.

  5. While adding a few locations to my Google Maps saved places, I came across some reviews for the Golden Cock which make entertaining reading. Google has tagged it not "legendary infamous gay sleaze bar" (and I mean that in a good way ) but "karaoke bar" and so, despite all the external evidence, that's how the reviewers have read it. Incidentally, kudos to the bar for finding Indian music for one party to dance to. I wonder who was the more bemused.

  7. When we arrived in Salvador, the Uber driver told us that safety was good in Salvador. When we discussed between us in English of restaurants where we could go, he understood that we were speaking of Tropical Paradise. He interrupted in portuguese saying that he thought that the restaurant was closed. Then, as if it was the most common thing in the world he added that he thought that the owner was in jail because he killed someone ! I asked if he had killed a customer and he answered : "oh, no !! Just a waiter !!". Good introduction to Salvador lol rsrsrs

  8. Not forgetting that they leased Point 202 for around a year and manage it to nearly put it out of business, thankfully Junior returned and not only saved it but transformed it in the sauna with the best facility in Brazil, at least in the Rio/SP region. I was there last week and had a blast. He always dreamed in a disco-sauna and little by little finally achieve it. Brilliantly! Take that Rudolf! Take that Acyr and Jorge! By the way, never met any of these people.

  9. From Bloomberg News Election agency asks court to mull Future Forward dissolution Party head has warned elimination could be protest flash-point Thailand’s Election Commission petitioned a court to consider the break up of the country’s most high-profile opposition party, whose leader has warned that its dissolution could spark protests. Loans of 191.2 million baht ($6.3 million) to the Future Forward party from its chief Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit breached financing rules for political parties, the commission said in a statement Wednesday in Bangkok. “We absolutely disagree with the commission’s decision,” Piyabutr Saengkanokkul, the party’s secretary-general, said in a briefing. “We will continue to go forward with our duties. The decision today can’t stop our journey.” Future Forward is less than two years old but surged in Thailand’s disputed March election, which came after almost five years under a junta. Thanathorn is a critic of the royalist establishment’s grip on power, and his party’s goals include rewriting the military-backed charter and breaking up oligopolies. The commission asked the Constitutional Court to mull the financing case. The usual next step is for the court to decide whether to accept it or not. Thanathorn said last week that Thailand could see street protests again if establishment forces continue to resist democratic change, and signaled that dissolution could be a flash-point for demonstrations. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-11/thai-agency-seeks-break-up-of-highest-profile-opposition-party

  11. There is ample evidence to show he is guilty of the two charges. It isn't rocket science. He should be impeached and removed. However, I do not see the very partisan Senate doing this. They are cowards and with their vote America will never be the same. It is sad that his supporters are so blind to his actions and don't care. I have friends that vote for him and say honestly they don't care of he broke the law or not as long as he keeps appointment the right SCOTUS justices. In my mind, every judge he appoints should be forfeited. I just pray that RBJ holds on until this sad part of American history is over.

  12. Trump is guilty as sin, and most reasonable, non-partisan thinkers know this. I take my legal cues from scholars Lawrence Tribe and Neal Katyal, to name just a few. I absolutely don't listen to partisan legal talking heads. It is absolutely astonishing to me that the same party who impeached Bill Clinton over his lie about a sex allegation is now turning a blind eye to actual abuse of power and extortion. All the Republican Party cares about is money and power. They will say and do anything to keep power, even support a Mafia boss. Trump has exposed the Party's hypocrisy to the MAX. Most of us knew it was always there. Now, the Party is a joke. A complete and total FRAUD. In NYC, I hear often that many people are hoping, praying that Trump dies a quick death. Some are sitting by their TV sets waiting for the fat-ass Mafia boss to fall down the stairs of Air Force One. Trump is the most hated president in my lifetime. He's hated because he truly believes, as president, he's above the law. And now he's got fat-ass Bill Barr to protect him. God help America if Trump gets re-elected. America may not survive that tragedy. (Edit) What does the future hold? Personally, I think the Republican Party deserves to be punished badly for putting this corrupt buffoon in the White House. And I mean punished badly. A hard lesson needs to be learned so the country can avoid something like this moving forward. I'm hoping that Democratic turn-out is going to break records, no matter who the nominee is. Trump (and his family) incites voters like no other political name in recent history. Even if Joe Biden gets the nomination, there may be a flood of voters who are desperate to return to "normal" and will get behind their uncle Joe. There are millions of baby boomers (and their kids) who are desperate to save and reform health care. The future of Medicare and Medicaid depend on Democratic leadership. Most voters hate the insurance companies who control their health care costs. They know more than ever that health insurance businesses are in business to say "NO!" The future of health insurance is looking more and more like the future of tobacco products. Consumers are tired of the profit motive in health care. They are finally realizing the immorality of it all. It takes a rise in suicides to shine a light on this.

  14. From the NYTimes The e-waste industry is booming in Southeast Asia, frightening residents worried for their health. Despite a ban on imports, Thailand is a center of the business. Foreign workers sorting through piles of shredded e-waste on the premises of New Sky Metal in Thailand in September.Credit...Bryan Denton for The New York Times By Hannah Beech and Ryn Jirenuwat KOH KHANUN, Thailand — Crouched on the ground in a dimly lit factory, the women picked through the discarded innards of the modern world: batteries, circuit boards and bundles of wires. They broke down the scrap — known as e-waste — with hammers and raw hands. Men, some with faces wrapped in rags to repel the fumes, shoveled the refuse into a clanking machine that salvages usable metal. As they toiled, smoke spewed over nearby villages and farms. Residents have no idea what is in the smoke: plastic, metal, who knows? All they know is that it stinks and they feel sick. The factory, New Sky Metal, is part of a thriving e-waste industry across Southeast Asia, born of China’s decision to stop accepting the world’s electronic refuse, which was poisoning its land and people. Thailand in particular has become a center of the industry even as activists push back and its government wrestles to balance competing interests of public safety with the profits to be made from the lucrative trade. Last year, Thailand banned the import of foreign e-waste. Yet new factories are opening across the country, and tons of e-waste are being processed, environmental monitors and industry experts say. “E-waste has to go somewhere,” said Jim Puckett, the executive director of the Basel Action Network, which campaigns against trash dumping in poor countries, “and the Chinese are simply moving their entire operations to Southeast Asia.” “The only way to make money is to get huge volume with cheap, illegal labor and pollute the hell out of the environment,” he added. But it is dirty and dangerous work to extract the tiny quantities of precious metals — like gold, silver and copper — from castoff phones, computers and televisions. For years, China took in much of the world’s electronic refuse. Then in 2018, Beijing closed its borders to foreign e-waste. Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia — with their lax enforcement of environmental laws, easily exploited labor force and cozy nexus between business and government — saw an opportunity. “Every circuit and every cable is very lucrative, especially if there is no concern for the environment or for workers,” said Penchom Saetang, the head of Ecological Alert and Recovery Thailand, an environmental watchdog. While Southeast Asian nations like Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines have rejected individual shipments of waste from Western countries, Thailand was the first to push back more systematically against the electronic refuse deluging its ports. In June of last year, the Thai Ministry of Industry announced with great fanfare the ban on foreign e-waste. The police made a series of high-profile raids on at least 10 factories, including New Sky Metal. “New Sky is closed now, totally closed,” Yutthana Poolpipat, the head of the Laem Chabang Port customs bureau, said in September. “There is no electronic waste coming into Thailand, zero.” But a recent visit to the hamlet of Koh Khanun showed that the factory was still up and running, as are many others, a reflection of the weak regulatory system and corruption that has tainted the country. Since the e-waste ban, 28 new recycling factories, most dealing with electronic refuse, began operations in one province east of Bangkok, Chachoengsao, where Koh Khanun is located, according to provincial statistics. This year, 14 businesses in that province were granted licenses to process electronic waste. Most of the new factories are in central Thailand between Bangkok and Laem Chabang, the nation’s biggest port, but more provinces are allowing the businesses.
