What do boys do with their money?
a447a and 5 others reacted to DivineMadman for a topic
Most of the guys I know send money home. It really doesn't require much of a mental effort to think about circumstances the guys come from. Young guys from Cambodia are the children (or in some cases grandchildren) of Khmer Rouge survivors. Imagine the circumstances in Cambodia when they were born 22-25 years ago and that their families live in even now. I know many are sending money home to build the first livable homes for their family and are sending their younger brothers and sisters to school. If you take some time out from the pleasure domes and get to know some of the Myanmar guys, you will find out much the same. Many guys are from villages where even now there is no electricity. Spend some time talking and you might find out that waiter serving you spent his time as a stateless Akha family, quite literally foraging for food in the forest. The same is all true Laos guys and the Vietnamese guys. I (and others here) know a Laos guy who came from a family with no land, so he actually bought a home for his family. A lot of Laos guys will remember when their villages first got electricity. I think all of us who the spend the time really hanging out with these guys, in non-sexual situations even (gasp!), respect them and their commitment to family. The idea that they're going to say "no, I'm not going to send my mom 2,000 baht this month because I'm going to invest in a mutual fund" is just nonsense. Setting aside money as savings is a luxury these guys and their families just don't have. Definitely they're young guys. They want nice shiny phones and some nice freshly-torn jeans. And there are some guys (a few) who even have motorbikes, etc. I certainly don't begrudge them that. I have a lot of sympathy for what they put up with, so let them have their joys. People who spend -- objectively speaking -- a lot of money to fly around the world to come to Thailand or Cambodia or wherever to PAY to have sex with young guys who otherwise wouldn't want to have sex with them really cannot claim some sort fiscal prudence superiority. Not everyone has extra cash to be generous with their money. But there's no excuse not to have generosity of spirit.6 points -
Lazy is not the best choice of words to describe the situation you present above. Entrepreneurial, ambitious and enterprising are more apt.4 points

to mamasan or not to mamasan
vinapu and 2 others reacted to DivineMadman for a topic
Answer yes. Both are true. Do whatever you feel comfortable with. Personally, I don't involve mamasans in any of my decisions, but I do make a point of trying to be nice to the mamasans (with the exception of a few at Lucky Boys who I just aggressively ignore). I would get a guy's attention and have him sit for a drink and then find out if he's right or not right for me. Waiters can also help get a guy's attention to sit with you, but I've usually found the guys very attentive and looking to me for a signal to come down. Repeat that process two or three times if necessary. Occasionally I suppose it's expensive because it might involve buying a few extra drinks and little thank-you-for-sitting-with-me tips, but I just don't ask a mamasan for a recommendation. Anyway, after a while at a bar I think you sort of know who you at least want to try to talk to without any input from anyone else. [Personally, and this is probably just me, I find it a bit off-putting and demeaning for all concerned when a mamasan scrambles around the bar to grab different guys to parade in front of a customer.] But to each his own, and I suppose if you are shy they can help. Mammasans try to insinuate themselves into the process because that's their job. No hard feelings any which way. Having said that, they can make the lives of the guys who work at the bar better (or worse). So, particularly if you want your guy to look good for his boss and maybe get a tad bit better treatment at a bar, it helps to cultivate a mammasan.3 points -

Prince Raided Again

It appears the Immigration Police have raided Prince again. This time looks a bit more serious and some guys were handed over to the police for drug use. https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1132758-attractive-men-in-underpants-arrested-right-under-the-noses-of-immigration-police/2 points -

BL8gPt and one other reacted to DivineMadman for a topic
I just rant. Certainly not aimed at you. Feel free to ignore. Personally, I don't think any of us needs to say that each interaction with the guys is a pity party and you or I or anyone should throw money at the guys like some grand wealth redistribution plan. (Not that I am saying that is what you are saying you would do. ) There's dignity and respect in paying a fair price for services. Instead, the cautionary note is none of us should think that the guys will really just waste the money anyway, so cheapness is really justified. Sometimes I worry that some customers have almost a resentment towards the guys - maybe because they have to pay?? - and that resentment then leads to a pervasive thinking that the guys are [insert any one of a number of negative adjectives]. As to the stories - If someone starts telling me a sob story I just tune it out. That's why I say I think it takes time to get to know the guys and then it's just more natural to learn their stories.2 points -
a visit to the new Lagoa
Latbear4blk and one other reacted to Tomcal for a topic
I had heard about them before but did not really have a interest in going since 1) anonymity isn’t important to me 2) the number of guys is significantly fewer then in a sauna and 3) I enjoy the socialization that takes place in a sauna! 4) i don’t really enjoy the massages that much! When i have gotten one all i do is lay there and think about the sex i want to happen! :-) But knowing 3 guys that work there including two that had been to Mexico with me the past year i decided to go and was surprised by how nice it was and clean and professional. i opted for the hour of sex each time not the 50/50 massage-sex combo! Of the 7 of 12 guys working there that i saw 5 were very attractive to me and the other 2 were bigger Muscled guys that i was not attracted to, but i am sure many would be be!2 points -
From Bloomberg Financial The Bank of Thailand cut its benchmark interest rate for the second time in three months and said it will ease rules on outflows to curb a surging currency. Five of the seven Monetary Policy Committee members voted to cut the key rate by a quarter-percentage point to 1.25%, the central bank said in a statement. That matches a record low and was in line with the forecasts of 16 of the 26 economists in a Bloomberg survey. Officials told reporters in Bangkok that the central bank is worried about the strength of the baht, which may continue to weigh on the economy. The bank will ease rules on outflows and consider further steps to rein in the currency, they said. The baht extended losses, falling as much as 0.7% to 30.399 per dollar, and was at 30.327 as of 3 p.m. in Bangkok. Thai authorities are stepping up monetary and fiscal support to spur an economy that’s on course for its weakest growth in five years in 2019. The baht has gained more than 8% against the dollar in the past year, the best performer in emerging markets, curbing exports and tourism in the trade-reliant nation. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-11-06/thailand-cuts-interest-rate-to-record-low-to-rein-in-currency1 point

There is no reason why gogo bar boy will do so he will face serious problem with his patron in the bar. I usually leaving my credit cards , passport and my money in the inroom safety box and taking the minimum amount of cash I need with me so even if I would had been pickpocketing ( which never happened ) it's not a big lost.1 point

What do boys do with their money?

I too find the convenient cynicism of a minority of punters disheartening. I learned a lot from P when we met in 2003 and from his friends, too. Firstly, that the imperative- both religious and social- to send money to parents was overwhelming and that some guys would prefer to go hungry than fail in this responsibility. Secondly, that the guys looked after each other and so if one was going through a bad time in terms of "offs", his friends would take care of him. It may be that things have change on the scene now and I suspect that some of the more popular guys in the big Bangkok bars where Chinese clients are dominant are doing very well nowadays. However, in the period when I was a punter, the one way out of the industry and the achievement of relative comfort was to find a falang (or falangs) who' go the extra mile in terms of support.1 point -

Jupiter 2018 is open!
vinapu reacted to DivineMadman for a topic
DIscussed recently here - which includes a correct link to the longer thread. The link in the unfortunately-named "timeless" forum is busted. If you're the right kind of person to do it, then it can be a truly great experience that is loads of fun and you get to really know your guy. I recommend it, for the right person. Of course, be advised not all guys want to do it, and those that do might expect a premium over L/T rate, so I can't really say whether a particular guy you might like from Jupiter will even want to join you or anyone else on a trip.1 point -
What do boys do with their money?
splinter1949 reacted to Boy69 for a topic
I can devide the boys working on the bar scene to 3 main groups : 1. Temporary job - the boy is doing this as a part time job has another regular job,or he's a student or between jobs till he finds proper job or finish his studies. 2. Poor background- the boy come from poor family without proper education or skills and choose to work in the sex industry hoping to make good money . 3. The lazy - The boy is very lazy can not work in regular hard working job and looking for the easy good life the option to make in a short time with a client the amount he can earn on 3 hard labour days on regular job is appealing to him.1 point -
I can not recommend you to do so to be with a boy 24/7 is not easy as you think unless you know the boy well ,you are sure that you are get along with him and there is good chemistry between you two otherwise it can be a disaster.1 point

What do boys do with their money?

One off a day would make him well off. I have known lads not having an off for 2 weeks ish. Four offs a week would be seen as very livable but hard to achieve for many. The men I know are similar to this: rent, maybe 3 men to a room at 5,600 a month total. Food, maybe 3200 a month. Taxis might be 3000 a month, as cheap rooms may be far from work. The non Thai lads need 2000 to do the visa run. Help for the family at home when they can. Police fines can be a problem eg. for overstay. Health costs for non Thai men. Smoking, tattoos and casino for some may be the 'wasteful' expenses but I can hardly talk with the money I spend on men.1 point -

RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov 24-30 2019
brockmiller reacted to Latbear4blk for a topic
We are in the countdown and the trip is starting to take shape. I already have confirmed a full day hanging out with my favorite in the Milky Way, Italo Andrade. We are playing with the idea of having a scuba diving field trip together, it would be a first time experience for both of us. He is exploring his network looking for recommendations. I have been researching online, and all the opportunities I find are far from Copacabana. I did not find anything closer than Angra dos Reis. I do not want to spend 6 of the 12 hours of the trip sitting in the bus to the port and back to the airbnb. If anyone has any suggestions close to Copacabana, it will be highly appreciated. Otherwise, I guess we just spend the day in the beach. We are also in advanced negotiation to have a two hours orgy with Italo, Yuri, and Estevão, to fuck, take pictures and film for our fans pages. It is almost confirmed, we may have an extra addition, Victor. He is right now having a romance with Italo. I am very excited. I still have to contact the non porn star GPs I want to see again, Wagner (he does not publish), Luiz and Jonathan. I am extra excited that we are traveling in a group. One of the friends does not participate here, but we have @azdr0710 who hopefully will also share his experiences in this thread. He is arriving one day before our airbnb check in, and may spend that night with Wagner. I am curious about someone else's experience with that hottie.1 point -
