Leg 4 - Chiang Mai - The laid-back leg Arrived Chiang Mai Tuesday After noon for 3 nights. this is my first visit to this city. This leg was probably my least eventful. Hotel review - Le Meridien- 2 interconnecting rooms (110 USD per room per night): The location of this hotel is great. Rooms are relatively large and comfortable. I can agree with @DivineMadman and @PeterRS impression of this hotel. This hotel has very little character and is more like a massive business hotel. But, service was great, rooms also and hotel Italian restaurant was high class. Breakfast was a bit too crowded and of fair quality but not what I expected from that brand. Adam's Apple - After dinner and a visit to the night market, I went out to explore a place I had some expectations of: Adam's Apple. That bar is nice, professional and friendly. It was also rather empty that night and I was 1 of 3 customers. About 20 guys participating in a rather nice and professional show. That place was entertaining but guys on display were on the twinkish side so I enjoyed the show and went to an have an early night's sleep. Only in Chiang Mai I managed on getting more than 5 hours sleep at night. Classic House Massage (#1) - The next day after visiting an elephant sanctuary, I put my daughter to sleep and walked 7 minutes from Le Meridien to Classic House Massage. I was really pleasantly surprised by the variety of men that were there. About 20 guys on display with a fair amount of guys on the beefy / muscular side. Also liked the clarity of the place: on the menu it is written 600 for massage, 600 minimum tip and a recommendation of 1000 minimum tip if happy ending services were supplied. Massage was very erotic, and the end was indeed happy. The day after I came again to Classic (#2) and it was exactly as enjoyable with a different and attractive guy. Ram Bar - Second night in Chiang mai went to the bar there and enjoyed the show which was also professional and entertaining. Grindr Hookup (#6) - On my last night I set up a meet with a guy I started texting the first day I arrived. My daughter and mother just went to sleep so I insisted that we will wait another half an hour before we go up to my room. The guy suggested we go to his place. For me was a better option so I agreed. We go out and I expect to see a scooter but instead it was a fancy car. I was totally wrong here cause this guy was younger than me and had a really fancy car and living alone in an massive private house which was just surprising as I did not expect that. Sex was fun too. Most of my Chiang Mai time was spent in attractions: Art in Paradise, Umbrella factory, markets, Zoo etc. I enjoyed the calmness of that place after the intense weekend in BKK. After 3 nights there it was travel time again to our next leg - a new destination for me as well - Singapore!

Day 5: Caught the BTS to Asok and had a wander around Terminal 21. Ended up buying some jeans, shorts, and shirts from H&M and had a cheap lunch at the food court, although the serving sizes were quite small. When I got bored, I went back on the BTS to Sala Daeng and went to Prime Massage. I've heard a lot of good reviews about this place so I decided to give it a try. When I got there, they were quite busy, but it was quite efficiently run. I wanted to get a 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai massage, but the lady at the counter said if I got a 30 min foot/1 hour Thai then I wouldn't have to wait, and could get started straight away. So I went with that. 450 baht. My guy was a cutie, and quite smiley as well. Foot massage was good, and the Thai massage was amazing - out of all the Thai massages I've had in my life, I don't think I've ever been contorted into so many positions. He was really strong and worked hard, so I tipped him 300 baht. Since I was quite impressed, I made an appointment for the following day with the same guy for a 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai. On the way back to the BTS station I took a detour and walked through the Patpong night market (it wasn't quite night yet so they were still setting up), and then back down the street that some of the bars are on (Screwboys, Dreamboy Paradiso etc). I also walked past so many massage places. I just want to try them all out! Day 6: Went to MBK to have a bit of a look, nothing too spectacular there, lots of stalls like a market. I had some lunch and bought a pencil case. Afterwards I went back to Prime for my appointment, got there a little earlier and was able to start straight away. My massage guy looked like he got a fresh haircut too. If I thought yesterday was good, today was even better and he was using some moves that he didn't use yesterday. Pretty legit massage, although he came in contact with my 'area' a few times, whether accidental or deliberate, I didn't mind. Tipped him 500 baht as he worked really hard over the 2 hours he was with me. Then I was thinking, if these guys work this hard all day for hours and hours, they must get really sore.. or maybe during their training they learn how to massage without hurting themselves? Later in the evening I went for a drink (and dinner) at heaven rooftop bar. It's in the same building as Arena and you have enter through a spa (like heaven spa or something) and take the elevator up to the top. It was quite a nice atmosphere with some live music. A nice place to take your guy. I ended up messaging J (from the beginning of my trip) because I wanted to give him another chance so I asked if he wanted to spend the night, and he said yes and would meet me later on, so after dinner I went back, had a shower etc, and he messaged me again saying that he forgot his mum was visiting and couldn't come. Never mind, I kinda knew that something like this would happen! Day 7: So today was my last day. I decided to move hotels as my flight was tomorrow and I didn't want to travel on the BTS during rush hour with my suitcase (plus I wasn't super into my current hotel). I ended up booking a room at Sukhon which is literally right outside the Phaya Thai BTS station. It's a relatively new hotel (opened last year I think), and it was clean and neat. I was on the 5th floor (top floor) and had views of the BTS station lol. Ganymede is quite close by so I decided to pay a visit. There were about 6 guys there on arrival and I chose a slightly muscular one (not sure why, as I'm more into the twinky types), but I did like his face. Showered alone down the corridor, went back to the room and the guy came in after a while. Massage was okay, was offered sex and asked him to f*ck me but he had trouble staying hard. Oh well, a handjob it was. Paid the 700 baht massage fee and minimum 1000 baht. Better luck next time I guess! Day 8: The hotel provided a choice of American or Thai breakfast and I got the Thai option and it was quite delicious. Shortly afterwards, I walked to the airport link station (so close) and finished my time in Bangkok (I would then go to spend some time in Singapore then Bali). So all in all my trip was okay, I could have done a lot more (I just got really complacent and lazy), but I learn more every time I come here. I think for next time I'll stick to a bit of an itinerary so I can get stuff done, and in the meantime work on my health a little bit so that when I actually arrive, I'm not so tired all the time. I did get some offers from forum members to meet up, but I didn't end up arranging anything - so apologies and perhaps next time! I also didn't manage to go to any bars, to be honest I'm a little nervous, but I guess once I do it, it'll be easier and I won't be so scared! I have quite a bit of Thai baht left so I'm actually thinking about coming back in December and spending some time in Bangkok and Pattaya. I've already been looking at flights. Just to be clear, this is only for the tantric massage. Consistent with my experience as well. I don't 100% remember if tantric is at the expense of the other bits (plus I suppose you can always tell them that you want the max time for the tantric). When I've done it I've had the full package of scrub + tantric +aroma. I think -but am not sure - the tantric is a bit shorter than 50 minutes in that situation. After the last time I decided not to do all three just because it seemed like too much time to be flat out on a table. For residents or regular visitors the membership brings the cost at Spa Bangkok to just "high". You get a bunch of "free" (included) massages with the membership and after that the prices are lower. My indulgence there is a scrub + aroma (actually with my preferred guy it's a blended thai and aroma massage), for 1, 350 member price plus tip and clocks in at around 2 hours. So roughly the same as Healthland but obviously more expensive than the usual storefront shops. I think it is correct that only a few of the guys are trained to do the tantric, but it's more than one. I have been offered the choice. When I've booked a tantric + massage etc. they have suggested two masseurs to break it up. In my experience they will send a picture or two to help you narrow it down or confirm that their recommendation is acceptable to you. No surprise, the photos are a bit idealized. If you go to the shop to book in advance I think they will let you go through photos on a tablet.

Last night, I made the craziest purchase of my life and thought of you gents the whole time -- a butt plug trainer kit. I have never put anything up there in my life. The largest danger might be car accidents. Internet : wifi in Cuba is very difficult. Buy wifi card to be used at wifi spots. Where can it be bought ? At airport ? Lots of cute guys, a lot of transgender girls hang out there also" Gay night club Karabali on La Rampa only certains nights. Bilatin mentions there are drag shows and stripper shows. Are there really stripper shows ? Is it the only place in Havana with stripper shows ? Night Club ?? on Thursday nights near Parque Central close to the Inglaterra Hotel Beach : "When you go to Cuba, make sure to check out the sanddunes at Mi Cayito beach Saturday and Sundays are the best days to go. There is a trail that goes through the sanddunes, but you have to walk east a little ways from the main entrance to get to it". Mi Cayito in Boca Ciega has a gay flag next to the Cuban flag. It has about 10 km of beach. I also heard from someone that in Cayo Santa Maria a new hotel opened, just for gay tourism (from Whynotcuba). To go there : taxi (30 minute cab ride from Havana) or there is a cheaper option which is a tourist bus that leaves every hour from Parque Central in Old town. Just tell the driver that you want to go to Micayito and they will drop you off as close as they can get. thank God we humans are very adaptable to changing circumstances. Travel expenses can be reduced by being more diligent looking for better deal, booking early , travelling mid-week, gnashing teeth in economy class , going for less convenient connections etc. With abundance of rooms in BKK and Pattaya hotels there always will be good deal on accommodation although we may settle for less luxurious than our usual options. When comes to food as you noticed we have great scope for savings by dining in cheaper places and on the street. What we may reduce if necessary is social dining, in my case watching where I'm inviting my offs to have their meals . Even in entertainment we can recuse out spending by resorting from time to time to cheaper places ( two massages at Senso or Prince = three of the same length at Bangkok Massage or Arena), replacing LT with ST from time to time or even giving ourselves whoring break every so often. Being loyal to particular guy may give us scope to look for deal on tip from him. Keeping cool head in bar helps too , one drink is enough, if we are offing guy known to us no need to buy him a drink and does mamasan really deserve that 100 baht tip just because she smiles at us? Shortening trip be few days may help and reducing number of annual trips may produce some savings and above everything setting realistic budget and sticking to it my help - worked for me on last trip , first in time immemorial without trip to ATM.

Seriously, that leftover fear from the 80s is so incredibly outdated. I understand it may sit deep because back then an hiv infection was a near-certain death sentence. Nowadays, in the INCREDIBLY unlikely event that you should catch hiv despite being on PrEP AND condoms (virtually impossible to get it really) it is also a certain sentence - to take a pill a day until you die a peaceful death of old age. Leg 3 - BKK - The worst and the best Arrived at Bangkok Friday noon for 4 nights. I think this leg was the most eventful leg. Hotel review - So Sofitel - 2 So Comfy interconnecting rooms (190 USD per room per night): I booked simpler rooms and got an upgrade upon arrival. needless to say, this is one fine hotel. I love the decor, the location and breakfast is superb. It has a lot of sex appeal and attracts lots of gay travelers. My main complaint is that they were unwilling to guarantee me interconnecting rooms. They said they will do their best but can't guarantee which for me is not enough considering my trip's nature. Mails sent to hotel management did not help. I then messaged XXO Party's FB page in request for mediation regarding my request. So Sofitel was the host of that party. After texting with the FB page of the party, So Sofitel sent me an email that they are willing to commit, so I got what I wanted. I insisted on this hotel since I wanted to party late and at the same time be as close as possible to my daughter just in case. Spa Bangkok - I have been contemplating the thought of having a genuine tantric massage for some time now. That is the only place that offers it to my best knowledge. But their pricing for that is really weird. You either do a member for 5K baht a year and get it for 1500 baht or for non members it's 3200 baht. This is way to much to pay but I wanted to try it. @DivineMadman was very helpful on masseur recommendations and the masseur Wit was indeed very attractive and professional. It is what I imagined it would be - 50 minutes of edging. Being edged for that long is an intense and pleasurable experience. I was not close on cumming since I had cum several times the night before with my hotel entertainment in Pattaya. About 300 naked men at Mania that night. It was PACKED. The host, which I knew from R3 OParty was as always amusing with him narrating the event with his mic and giving free sniffs of poppers to the audience. Production did a very good job at producing the party but the fact that it was not full really makes it hard to enjoy the vibe. Also music was gay house but on the higher side of the BPM (like DJ station music) and I enjoy the more slower, sexy and dark BPM (like G.O.D music). But, I cannot be too critical of the party that night because I was actually inside for about 20 minutes. Grindr Hookup (#4) - After about 20 minutes in the party I get a message on Grindr. In my opinion, this event was better then Mania's event on terms of crowd (less twink, more athletic), music, facilities, and entertainment. Models there were hot and playful. It's worth mentioning that both in Chakran and in Mania, non Asian guys percent was probably 1%. This one was better in terms of crowd and was almost full. I enjoyed that party but having compared that to a regular party at G.O.D, I enjoyed G.O.D more and this time I think it was more related to the music than any other things. I spent most of the party making out with a guy I met before at Babylon combined with several other guys I met at the party and just texted before on Grindr. At the end there was 5 of us going back together to a room at So Sofitel. It was not my room since it was clear to all that group fun will be too noisy for my room. I do think that, for me, group fun is not as fun as one on one. Too many guys at once looses something on Intimacy. I surly enjoyed it but it only reminded me something I knew before - for me, orgies are always better in imagination then they are actually are. In real life I enjoy more one on one. I trusted the nanny so that was not what my stress was related to. My stress was more regarding what happens if something happens to me while my daughter is in a foreign country.
