Day 14 and last After receiving such badge of honor only I could do was to say that it’s impossible to sleep in heat generated by such hot boy. Late breakfast at Dicks than walk to airport bus station with good luck of having bus in 15 minutes. We both hoped loudly we will see each other in the future, embraced he while I boarded bus , Z was gone only sweet memories present. We were both very kind to each other and only when he was gone I realized that in those 4 days we were together he did not even once mused anything about money or compensation, not that I was stingy with him but still… Departed 11.30 and at 2.20 I was already back in my unused last night room at Express Pula. Did not stay long because I wanted to buy that picture I spotted yesterday in Icon Siam. Saturday afternoon free boat from Saphan Taksin was full and instead waiting for next one being already 57th in line I just splurged 60 baht on Tourist boat for 1 stop hop across the river. Picture was still hanging there , lady was behind the counter so deal was executed speedily, I was even pondering getting also another one but decided not to as I did not have idea where on my walls I find space for both. Did not spent much time in the mall as I wanted to go to Senso to get 4th and last this trip shot at M in Senso with three previous unsuccessful because he was already engaged so again speedily returned to hotel , this time using free boat which was departing handily right away. Half way from Pula to Senso for partially discouraged by unsuccessful shots at M , partially guilt ridden that in those 2 weeks I did not go to Arena at all, I changed plan abruptly and marched there. Guardian Angel, always at hand in BKK went somewhere on business and I was left for a moment to fend for myself. As always in either place, goose bumps and a bit nervous when riding those escalators, only Senso and Arena are doing this to me and never other place. Usually guys are hanging outside but today strangely none was there but as soon as I entered I knew why, There was quite handsome , Chinese looking customer inside pondering his choices with boys trying to draw his attention. Mamasan Art and my regular there Dit , most hired guy in my history of Thailand trips , were nowhere to be seen. In fact I recalled face of only one guy from 2 dozen or so present. Mamasan on duty was Somchak, veteran captain of old Hero , now here. He recalled my face, commended my still good looks, I suggested he needs glasses perhaps. Asked for tip as soon as I sat down surveying the scene , Chinese in meantime made his choice so now I was first. Asked about Dit – day off today, Fai, his brother, went home for good. All guys manly and muscular but I settled for one smiling the most , twinky rather than hunky. Guardian Angel still busy somewhere as other than impressive endowment massage was quite weak and for third time this week I was more than soaked in oil, perhaps 2 days worth of Oman’s output. But smile was there, thing was impressive , ready and accessible so 1000 baht tip dispensed , 600 massage fee paid after 1 hr session and of I went. First time in my long history of patronage there I was actually disappointed at Arena. It must always be that first time. Checking time I speed to soi 4 where I was supposed to meet our new member Nickx , on his fort ever trip to Thailand but one with good start as he already managed to off Babe , yes one from Moonlight. Ordered beer at Balcony and soaked in the scene. Oud from Jupiter rushing to work stopped by to shake hands and then somebody who could be Nick passed by , went inside Telephone but Guardian Angel returned so I took my beer , crossed soi and bravely asked guy sitting at the bar ‘ Are you Nicxk? “ . Bingo ! We had a nice chat catching on the news, he was very happy with Babe , we discussed next step and at my suggestion settled on Dreamboys as next destination. I had my designs on highly recommended # 65, I saw him last week when there with Christian but he was immediately called by customer but at least I knew how he looks like. Bar was almost full , they found us two seats by the scene and I noticed my goal dancing but opposite to other guys, without the number. It could be that he was booked already , no wonder with such popular guy on Saturday night . Another guy who draw my attention was muscular and very energetically dancing guy, I guess his name is Johnny as he was mentioned recently in another thread. Certainly both were highlights of the scene but there was no shortage of offable material so I knew I will not leave empty handed. Show started main feature of it being deafening music, level bordering on idiotic. Last time I heard such nonsensical thundering was at XBoys Pattaya few years ago. Tonight only two ladyboys presenting their doubtful hidden charms . There was special show with ladyboy bottoming , not a pretty sight for me but still I tipped both performers as I always do . After the show guys returned to the scene and attention please , # 65 now sporting his number. Time to take advantage of sitting close. I smiled, he smiled back , motion to squeeze between Nickx and me approved right away. Great muscular and smooth body and seemed very enthusiastic. Going with me? yes, hungry ? no ( but I was still at that time running on that Jomtien breakfast ) , long time ? no, some excuse uttered but this being my last night I could use some real sleep.500 of fee, drinks paid and all three of us went to Foodland , just because I was hungry but chicken with cashew nuts as always did the trick of filling me up. # 65 got some salad just for company . Nickx kindly walked with us to the hotel where we parted our ways hoping to see each other next trip. I asked reception to wake me up at 7.30 am Finally sought after guy in my room!!!. Asked to go to washroom and when emerged after while in his whole glory only a bit covered by the towel it turned out that he took shower already depriving me one of life great pleasures of showering with him. Oh well I was fast despoiling myself anxious to put my hands on such great body and to discover that when he told me “ I’m big” he meant it. Pleasant and steamy hour and half , no surprise that they are fans who are coming to Thailand mainly to see him. Body to die for , not shy , but also good kisser and conversationalist , very close to top of the line. Did I mention big? But tonight he was clearly in the rush so after 1.5 hr . I agreed to cut his chains , dispensed his tip and he kissed me good bye. That was end of day 14 , last day of my trip. In the morning I waked up 10 minutes before reception called . Advantage of travelling lightly is that packing takes very little time so I gathered my meager possession and went to Foodland again to abuse that 65 baht before 9 am deal on breakfast. It was only second time this trip that I had my breakfast without company, for somebody who likes long time offs it’s testimony of how great that trip was. Back in the room , still some time to catch on e-mails and forum , at 9.30 on my way. This time I was left with few thousand unspent baht so decided not to give that to some cleaning lady at the airport as I usually do but take it with me. Pretty long line for passport control so I basically marched from there straight to board an aircraft. Uneventful and fast trip back home with stopover at Taipei, long enough to buy a bottle of something stronger. Both aircrafts full. 25 hrs to the dot from moment of closing door at Express Pula I opened my own. As it was 11 pm , perfect bed time I suffered very little of jet lag upon return. Thank you for reading and all the ‘likes’ and comments , I will try to summarize this trip tomorrow, first ever when I did not see a single lizard at Lumpini.15 points

The subject of the July 22nd post above, poet and fiction writer Ocean Vuong, 30, is among this year’s MacArthur fellows. From NY Times This has been an emotionally intense year for the poet and fiction writer Ocean Vuong. In June, his first novel, “On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous,” written as a Vietnamese immigrant son’s letter to his illiterate mother, came out to much fanfare. Not long before publication, Mr. Vuong’s own mother learned she had Stage 4 breast cancer. Then, earlier this month, he was back from his book tour, and looking forward to the steadying routines of teaching at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, when he got a phone call delivering some startling news. “I had to make sure they had the right person, because you don’t want to cry and then have them say it was a mistake,” he recalled. “But then the tears came.” Mr. Vuong, 30, is one of 26 people chosen as 2019 fellows of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Known colloquially as the “genius” grant (to the annoyance of the foundation), the fellowship honors “extraordinary originality” and comes with a no-strings-attached grant of $625,000, to be distributed over five years. And Then There Is Beto

Interesting article. I've now completely moved this thread off Beto. But I'm posting it here because it involves a discussion of the same swing states discussed above where both the Presidency and the Senate could be up for grabs. It discusses a strategy of winning those states and The Presidency funded by rich women, and based on organizing women and people of color. These wealthy Democratic women have a plan to beat Trump at his own game The progressive group Way to Win was co-founded by an heiress to a Texas oil fortune.1 point -
I 'think' I spotted the guy your talking about #45 back in April...your description rings a bell & he was definitely a Viet, nice light muscular build / swimmers bod...I did not see him there on my last trip though but as Vinapu says above, more fun to go look. I have my regulars but its always fun to find new talent.1 point

Yes I think a lot of the North is Catholic from what I've seen / heard and they're very passionate about their religion too, took the ex BF to the Khao San rd one time and he bought a large picture of the Pope...then proceeded (to my slight horror) to set it up on a bedside table! I had to hide it when he wasn't looking as felt like the dear Pontif was watching me as I was having my wicked way with him! Bless me father for I have sinned...1 point

The Day One Agenda

I will. That's the best book written on the financial crisis, I think. McLean is a former WSJ reporter, if I recall right. Her reporting and detail is just incredible. It is an intentionally top down look, so she focuses more on the CEOs and politicians than the grass roots. And it is a horrible indictment. And it comes down to a three letter word: EGO. And actually maybe another four letter word: MALE. She's a smart woman (her book on Enron, who I personally spent 4 years organizing against, and winning, was called The Smartest Guys In The Room). So the question is: why would incredibly powerful and rich men like Stan Greenberg and Angelo Mozilo actually destroy the companies they built from the ground up? McLean's answer: because they were big men, with big egos. They all thought their shit didn't stink. And all these people under them made shit loads of money. She says there was a saying at the time: IBG, YBG. I'll be gone, you'll be gone - when the shit hits the fan. That explains it all, I think. Bill Clinton and Bob Rubin and Alan Greenspan belong on the list of big guys with big egos. That's Brooksley Born, who was a Clinton appointee who ran the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) from 1996 to 1999. That is the agency that, in theory, could have been on top of all this incomprehensible shit happening with derivatives of mortgages being traded around Wall Street and the planet. And she was pushing for tougher authority to stop exactly the kind of bad shit that ended up happening in the next decade. McLean, who I think is a centrist feminist, describes a key meeting in the Clinton years where Greenspan and Bob Rubin were in the room. (Clinton wasn't.) Rubin, who had a reputation as Mr. Nice, is the one who knee capped Born. It's not clear from the reporting that Clinton even knew about that knife fight. He offered to reappoint Born. She apparently felt if she wasn't going to be allowed to do her job, it wasn't worth it. Again, this is why we need somebody like Elizabeth Warren in the White House. She knows how to fight with knives and win. In fairness, can you blame Clinton for crimes committed in 2004 and 2005 and 2006 and 2007? Even if Born had gotten everything she wanted, some Republican would have been running the CFTC under W's watch. Just like they ran the Fed, the FDIC, the OCC, the Treasury, everything. As Michael Moore said, they were not interested in enhancing the rule book. They were interested in throwing the rule book out. What would have happened if this had all come down on Clinton's watch? We'll never know. But the point is: it didn't. You can't blame what happened in 2008 on what he did in 1998. You have to blame it on what W. tolerated, perhaps even with the best of intentions, in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007. Will Elizabeth Warren tolerate this happening on her watch? Call me naive, but I think she's the last fucking person in the world who would.1 point -

Sorry to pry. But is your friend named Sean Hannity? This is a perfect example of why Fox News is the Fake News capitol of America. Sean Hannity doesn't have a fucking clue what he is talking about. And it's worth talking about, because it's also a perfect example of the cruelty and ignorance that Trump is using to march his party off a cliff. Just like the Republicans led off us a cliff with Iraq and subprime a decade ago. And on this one, I know my shit. I could post the books and Pulitzer Prize winning series I have been quoted in on the history of racial redlining. So let's start with this. Sean fails at Journalism 101. It's not The Community Investment Act, which would be CIA. It's the Community Reinvestment Act, or CRA. The distinction matters, since the concept is that banks have an "affirmative obligation" to reinvest in the communities they take money out of. This isn't gifts to poor criminals. This is reinvestment in working class communities. In your words, this is capitalism. (Remember, now. Elizabeth Warren knows this issue inside out, like I do. And she's a capitalist, bless her heart.) Michael Moore did great. His first point is spot on. If a law passed by a moderate like Bill Proxmire in 1977 forced the government to make home loans to people that couldn't afford them, why did the crash not happen in 1978, or 1979? Sean has no answer for that. The irony is if Sean was speaking the truth - which he is not - this interview happened 32 years after the CRA was passed. Do the math. Most people get 30 year mortgages. So even if Sean was correct, which he's not, the people that banks were forced to give bad mortgages to in 1977 or 1978 or 1979 would have had their loans paid off by right around 2009. Mortgages don't fail when people finally have their mortgages paid off. That dog won't hunt, Sean. I once was quoted by media that used AP all over the country because I had a great zinger at Congressional testimony. "Your chances of being a bank that fails a CRA exam are smaller than your chances of dying in a plane crash." So Moore is right on that, too. Nothing happened under Reagan and Bush 1 because the law was not enforced. Which goes to my whole point in this thread, about what Presidents can do if they have a will to. In some ways, that was good news, in retrospect. I think of community organizing and community development as a form of capitalism. So during the 80's I was organizing against folks like GE Capital and Fannie Mae and the Mortgage Insurance Companies of America. Which eventually led to multi-billion dollar community reinvestment partnerships. And they worked. So at the grassroots, we were being like Elizabeth Warren. We were coming up with plans, and figuring out what worked. Clinton's timing was perfect. By the time he took power, a lot of really good work had been done, and a lot of really good partnerships had been built. In one week in in the late 1980's, I recall me or my boss going to speak at press conferences on pilot programs with Dick Gephardt, George Voinovich, and Dan Rostenkowski. If I recall right, my boss actually got to fly in a private jet with Rostenkowski to announce this program. With the CEOs of Fannie, GEMICO, etc. It was a big deal. And that was just one piece of many - the piece I know best. So Clinton built on all that and nationalized it. And it worked great, as the chart I posted above showed. So the question is: if this is Clinton's fault, why did it blow up at the end of W.'s second term? If you understand mortgage financing, the biggest risks come in years 3 to 5. If you add a recession into the mix, that makes a difference. The biggest reasons you lose your home are job loss, or divorce. So having a recession in 2001 was a real stress test for working class Blacks and Hispanics and Whites that bought homes in the Clinton years - like 1997 or 1998 and 1999. And you know what? Mostly, people sailed through. Home prices sagged a little, but they didn't plummet. I can tell you why, from personal experience, not only as an organizer but as a landlord. I bought my first two rentals homes for about $100,000 each in 1997, using mortgage financing that would have been considered "subprime" at the time - meaning edgy, but not crazy. By 2001, I had some equity. There were months when I struggled to make the mortgage payments, like if the rent was late. But I did whatever it took (hey! I became a world class whore!), and I got by. Even if I couldn't pay the mortgage, I could have avoided foreclosure by selling. By 2007 when the shit really hit the fan, those two homes were worth well over twice what I bought them for - because of the bubble. They both went down in value about 30 % during the crash. But they never got close to what I bought them for, let alone what the mortgage was for. What really went wrong is that in 2004, 2005, 2006 you had predators running amok making predatory loans. And they were more home equity loans than purchase loans. Warren is right on that, too, if you listen to her and want to knows the facts, as opposed to Fox Fake News. The predators saw an opportunity to steal the money. And they did. I think it's fair to blame Democrat Barney Frank a little, since he chaired the House Banking Committee up to 2004. To me, he sounded willfully ignorant. Democrat Chris Dodd, who chaired the Senate Banking Committee, should have gone to jail. He was a "Friend Of Angelo's", meaning the CEO of Countrywide Mortgage, which was ground zero for predatory lending. But most of these loans were made when Republicans controlled the White House, the Senate, the House, the Fed, the FDIC, the OCC, HUD, and all the other federal regulatory agencies. So my view is it is fair to say they are the ones that let the predators run amok in 2004 and 2005 and 2006 and 2007. Again, it takes 3 to 5 years. It's no shocker that loans originated in 2005 or 2006 went bad in 2008 or 2009. Even more so when you set the mortgages up to fail, like Moore stressed, with teaser rates and balloons. It was utter and total fraud, and lots of bankers should have gone to jail. Warren is right about that, too. And she was right to fight like hell for a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which hopefully (unless it's run by Mick Mulvaney) will stop this from happening again. Ironically, the problem is more like the opposite of what Fake News Sean Hannity said it was. This was not about bad people that the government forced banks to give bad loans to in 1977. This is about good people who bought homes in 1997, under Clinton, like me. And by 2007, if the predators were able to, they conned some of those people out of their money and their home. Now, in fairness, Sean is right about one thing. Nobody forced these home owners to take out predatory home equity loans. Again, I can speak to this from personal experience. At one point in Sacramento 3 of my 4 tenants were all former home owners who had lost their homes to predatory lenders. One was a Black family, one was a Hispanic family, one was a White family. It hit working class and middle class people of every race. When the Black tenant told me she was in a short sale when she filled out the rental app, I went liberal and said something about how I felt the banks had really screwed people bad. That was enough to start her sobbing, because the pain and humiliation went that deep. So you can call her stupid, or whatever. But she was a wonderful church woman, and a great tenant. The White couple had bought their home back in the 90's, like when I did if I recall right. So I was confused. I asked, "You must have had equity? If you couldn't make the mortgage payment, why didn't you sell?" The answer went something like this: "Remember all those lenders that called you up, or knocked on your door, and asked you if you wanted to take that trip to Europe, or buy that boat or that vacation home? Well, we did." It didn't help that the predatory loan had a teaser rate that made it doomed to fail from the day it was originated. But the government was run by Republicans then, and they let the predators just make a gazillion doing it. This is exactly why we need somebody like Warren in the White House. I'm 1000 % sure the predators will try to do it again, if we let them. And you think Fake News Sean and Bankruptcy King Donald or Mick Mulvaney or Steve Munchkin are gonna stop them? Give me a fucking break, Sean.1 point -
Hi Vinapu, I almost cried when reading the part of your reunion with Z. LOL Obviously you and him both were truly happy to see each other. I too cherish this kind of interaction with boys, I like it more as friends than business. " do you ever sleep ? " that's my question too. LOL. Did you just embrace him and touch him here and there the whole night or did you actually have some real actions ? If it's the latter, your stamina is really amazing. It's still admirable though even if it's the other. LOL Ken1 point

Day 13 As planned, after morning activities and me packing my suitcase as after three days at Baan Silom time to change hotel , we went to Icon Siam as A suggested he will be my guide. I left luggage on reception to pick it up later. This being Friday morning , fee boat from Saphan Taksin was fairly empty. I’m not a shopper and definitely not a mall shopper but Icon made very good impression on me. First we walked through Thai village themed first floor where we had dim sum type of breakfast, 8 small dumplings for 50 baht , I underestimated their filling power and ordered 2 servings but managed to devour only half of second serving , ChristianPFC would crucify me for ditching in the rest since he hates wasting food. A was full with whatever he had as well. Then coffee in one of the local enterprise stalls and it was excellent. I’m not big on coffee but this trip I had very good Thai coffee in few places and even bought some to take home . All that area is very interesting and worth spending half day sampling and trying. Upstairs there are several craft shops made as Thai traditional houses , very enjoyable and interesting. Me enjoying mall, I can’t believe it but that’s was truth. In one of stores I noticed painting with Burmese style pagoda and Buddha statue for 1000 baht but there was no sales person and I gave up, but not forever as we will see in due course, there’s always tomorrow. Then A led me upstairs to a mall proper and showed me access to an outside terrace through Apple store form where beautiful vista of river and the city can be seen . After soaking in sights of that magnificent retail cathedral with strong resolve to return to explore that first floor in more detail we returned to the hotel to pick up my suitcase and roll her over to D’Varee Pula Express in small sub-soi of Silom close to soi 2. Another hotel where deposit, whole 1000 baht was requested. Room pretty small with windows replaced by those glass panels but very well appointed and organized, actually I liked it very much as everything seemed to be in proper place. Full bathroom with bathtub and real window facing car park but covered by heavy black screen. A bit if intimacy , actually quite a bit, as it’s hard to say good bye to such hunk and around 2 pm I released him before time as agreement was for a whole day . He complained about a bit of neck pain and need for massage which was suggested I can finance but considering that he was well compensated already I kind of refused by saying no. Who says I’m spoiling guys? I returned again to an idea of surprise visit to Pattaya to see Z again. Stupid and romantic both but I had that itching which become BIG itching soon after A left so I just shaved, packed toothbrush into my day pack, took money belt from room safe , fired my tablet to book a room at The Venue in Jomtien Complex for just tonight and soon was on my way to the Swampy. Bus was due in 20 minutes , enough time to have that standard backpacker's in Thailand fare- mango with sticky rice. Only then I realized that it’s actually first time I try that delicacy ever ! How that’s possible I don’t know but truth. On the bus I had enough time to ponder how stupid my idea was as Z could be absent, tied with some handsome and rich competitor already or simply not even happy to see me again. It was dark when I arrived and on approach to the bar what I see ready to collapse ? Z is playing pool with handsome, no idea if also rich farang. That’s bad news. But on seeing me he beamed smile number 1 which couldn’t be fake , after all I spent few days with him and saw that smile already. ‘ I can’t believe, you are back ?” , “ I miss you” followed but I did not forget that he plays pool so told him to go to his guy and I will just have a beer. One of guys brought me Chang and seconds later Z was just beside with THE NEWS. His companion offed him last night but told him already in the morning that he will not be offing him today and now just confirmed by saying ‘ go with the guy” , guy being me. Thank you Guardian Angel ! Sure I was prepared for the worst and in Pattaya there are few guys I’d be happy to see , Wit comes to mind immediately, but tonight I came for Z , not somebody else. Then he noticed that my shirt is soiled with what turned out to be ink from my pen in the pocked. It was actually heavily soiled so I suggested that I need to buy new one but only place I know where those are stocked is Pattaya Night market on 2nd road. ( I have very specific need for “ travelling” shirt , it must have two passport sized pocked sealed by Velcro, nothing else ). Getting there was easy because first songtaew we stopped was going to Naklua so in 15 minutes we were there going to store known to me where I noticed those shirts , picked up my size , tried it , paid 350 baht in in less than 2 minutes I was proud owner, contents of old pockets transferred to new and old shirt ditched. 2 minutes, that is very relevant information in view of what will happen soon. Z , with pleasure I must say visibly fired up that I bothered to come and see him again and strong in knowledge what his tip will be ( I added that 500 bonus I forgot to give him when we parted few days ago ) suggested that we go across the street to Central Festival mall because he want to buy some branded shirt in whatever store it was. It was 10 pm when we entered store, closing time was 11. And yes it took all that time for him to choose and buy that damn garment. First it was amusing , all that trying and deliberating but when I noticed that staff is itching to go home I suggested he speeds up to no avail. Even my homophobic remark ‘ you must be gay if you need that much time to buy a shirt ‘ did not work, LOL. But at 10.59 we left and they could close the gate. Pleasant stroll along Beach t road toward Walking street , I realized that whole day apart from breakfast and that sticky rice mango I actually did not eat anything ( I lost 4 kg during that 2 week trip ) so he suggested WineLand (?) restaurant we were passing by if only because he used to work in one in Phuket. Pizza was very poor relative to one from Madrid Tavern in Patpong but at least as consolation was twice as expensive, He had some seafood which I did not even look at recalling my allergy bout week ago. Then we walked all length of Walking street back and forth as he never was there and finally well after midnight we boarded baht bus at school to land in The Venue for our steamy reunion. His morning question’ do you ever sleep ? “ was best finish of day 13 I could only imagine.1 point

And Then There Is Beto
TotallyOz reacted to stevenkesslar for a topic
Me too. Like I said, I was sending her money every month last year for her House race. It's the only House race I gave to outside California, and I did it mostly because her message and her persona was so fresh and likable. Her husband is a Republican, and she's a bad ass warrior who bombed bad guys and fought to be one of the first women pilots. She seems like a poster child for how we get beyond the current obstructionism. And since McConnell is credited by many as being the architect of that obstructionism, starting from the night Obama was elected in 2008, taking him out could be a twofer. Out with Mr. Gridlock, in with Ms. Compromise. That said, one thing she has in common with Beto is there's a sloppiness to both of them, or perhaps better stated a lack of seasoning. They are both making avoidable errors. None of these errors are fatal. But in a place like Texas or Kentucky, where there pretty much is no margin for error for a Democrat, you just can't afford to make many mistakes. Did Mitch McConnell Recruit His Opponent? I always enjoy reading the author of that piece, AB Stoddard, who is a pragmatic centrist. If McGrath is rubbing her wrong, that's not a good sign. That said, this surprised me: https://www.aarp.org/content/dam/aarp/research/surveys_statistics/politics/2019/five-state-prescription-drug-survey-annotated-questionnaire-KY.doi.10.26419-2Fres.00335.003.pdf That was one of five state polls that came out last week from the same pollster, Fabrizio Ward LLC, that showed Trump behind Biden from anywhere from 4 to 9 points in four key states: Colorado (9 points), Maine (6 points) Arizona (5 points), North Carolina (4 points). Kentucky was the only one of the five where Trump is ahead, by double digits. This poll shows Trump whopping Biden by 53 to 41 in Kentucky. So this is mostly bad news for Trump. And if the nominee were Warren or somebody else, recent polls show she's doing about as well as Biden in these head to heads with Trump. If Trump loses Arizona or North Carolina, it is of course game over. The really surprising thing is that in all five states, voters are saying they are more inclined to dump the Republican incumbent than to keep them. All five incumbents (McSally, Collins, Tillis, Gardner, McConnell) have low favorable ratings. So I think it's fair to say they are all vulnerable. And McConnell has the worst numbers of all five. 62 % of people in Kentucky said they want a "new person" in the Senate seat. Only one third say they think McConnell deserves re-election. Those numbers are significantly worse than for the other four Republican Senate incumbents. And the most surprising thing is that in the same poll that shows Trump clobbering Biden in Kentucky, McConnell and McGrath are essentially tied, 47/46. If you assume Stoddard's article is at least partly correct, and McGrath got off to a rocky start, it is not bad news that she is still in a statistical toss up. By all rights in this political environment and in a red state like Kentucky it seems like she should just be a lamb waiting for slaughter. So just like Beto probably benefited from a blue wave and the unpopularity of Ted Cruz last year, as well as his own freshness and enthusiasm, McGrath might have the same shot in 2020 in Kentucky, for many of the same reasons. So now I will circle back around to Beto and close with this point. What may end up helping both of them in the long run is that even if they have flaws or make fumbles, they are both likable people. Having watched both of them for about a year now, I'd say Amy wears better than Beto. She comes across as a woman that would do anything for her kids and her country. I still think Beto comes across as having a big ego. That said, I agree with you that there is nothing that has happened so far that precludes him making a comeback in the future.1 point -
Chasing dreams and illusions - report of August 2019 trip

I don't see anything impolite neither in Boy69's comment , not in paulsf post. As some readers already noticed in report above I placed less monetary entries than in the past and will reduce those even more. As always somebody else's money and spending tends to generate too much heat , that's life fact. So perhaps to keep peace I should refrain from quoting explicitly any expenses depriving readers some educational value so to speak but maintaining world and my own peace. I like to spend my money way I do and that financial burden , if any , is only mine. Yes I expect comments and questions . I'm not shy to tell when question is too nosy. I was told many times that I'm too generous to the guys and got the message. And still continue to be too generous, perhaps because I find more pleasure with paying over the odds than counting every baht . I still do by the way , at least 2 times a day when in Thailand and result is always the same " where the hell all that money went" . But I never lose sight of fact that where I live bus ticket costs 100 baht , not 8 like in BKK so perhaps foolishly I think that my financial loss of tipping guy 100 baht just for touching his silicone cock during big cock show is still mitigated by fact that his gain is 12 bus tickets at expense of my just 1. That's my way of thinking when I travel to countries where dollar , pound , euro, quetzal and rouble still count for something.1 point -

Warren on Colbert
TotallyOz reacted to stevenkesslar for a topic
Thanks for posting that, Adam. That's a wonderful video. Since I'm being characteristically verbose on another thread, I'll try to be uncharacteristically brief here. Warren's message of unity and jumping in the trenches together actually fits nicely with the themes I was pushing on the other thread. I love that she even gives a shout out to how the LGBTQ community changed America. Part of what is working is she refuses to go negative. It's implicit rather than explicit in this video. But she didn't take Colbert's bait and go after Biden. The media has been going on and on about how there is going to be a showdown between Bernie and Elizabeth. The last debate they went on and on about how there was going to be a showdown between Elizabeth and Joe. She just keeps being positive and inspiring, and tells us how she wants to bring people together and lead. Castro, on the other hand, tanked after he attacked Biden. There's a big lesson there. She is winning the hearts of America. One selfie and one pinkie at a time. Elizabeth Warren's selfie with my daughter went viral because pinkie promises mean something1 point -
I went to Bangkok Massage tonight. They did a really nice job. Most of the rooms offer something different. Some very small single rooms. Some large double mattress sized. Some in between size. Rooms not all in a row. A couple of hallways going in different directions. Some rooms have showers. If this is important ask first. Otherwise showers at far end of hallway. For those who remember Twilight and all the stairs, Now no stairs. Now that all the rooms vary a bit, I would ask to see one to make sure it’s what you want. Also more privacy. Rooms are tiled. Couple things on the negative side. As Reader mentioned, it is below Lucky Boy so some steady music during show times. Didn’t bother me. If your having a good time you’ll forget about it. Other thing I noticed it needs some dimmer switches for the lights. Probably a little bright. Again having a good time you won’t notice. Also the place has all new tile, so you need to be aware that it could be a bit slippery if not careful. i didn’t look at menus or pay attention to pricing, but I think 1 hour oil was 600. So it appears pricing along the same lines as Twilight. For me one of the best points, is it’s right in the middle of all the Patpong action. Much as they were in Twilight. Some new guys and some came over from a Twilight. They all sit outside for your viewing pleasure and you can go inside and talk in the lobby. Quite comfortable. And there were a few guys there this weekend that were well worth taking inside.1 point

From Coconuts Bangkok ‘Bangcocking’ scourge nearly destroys boy’s testicles The juvenile homophone created in English by the international name for Thailand’s capital, long a source of snickering for Western children and the occasional adult, nearly claimed a tween’s budding manhood this past week. Surgeons labored desperately to save the testicles of a 12-year-old British boy maimed in what is actually described as a “sick ‘bangcock’ craze sweeping schools” by a newspaper covering the northern English community of Teeside. “This is a craze that has come back into trend that boys randomly punch their target in the balls to cause intense pain,” the boy’s mononymously identified mother “Emmajayne” told Teesside Live. “I don’t want to share my private business but this ‘bangcocking’ has been going on for a while in school and has come back as a stupid phase. The boy’s predicament began Thursday morning when he was approached by some lads with an apparent test of his geographical acumen: What is the capital of Thailand? When he correctly responded “Bangkok,” they walloped him hard in the bollocks. Surgeons made her sign a waiver that she was okay with them removing her son’s testicles if necessary. But he emerged whole, if modified. “He was very very lucky,” mum Emmajayne said. “They have been nipped and tucked, with four stitches to each testicle.” Continues at https://coconuts.co/bangkok/news/bangcocking-scourge-nearly-claims-boys-testicles-report/0 points
