Few impressions from hotels in Bangkok and Pattya I was staying at during my recent trip AMARA Normally I don’t stay in multi star places as I rather spent my money on the guys than rooms but thanks to a lucky coincidence – somebody owing me for few years couple hundred dollars suddenly decided to pay his debt just when I was about to book my hotels, I decided to spent windfall on something upscale. No regrets, pool on the roof with great view. Even if I did not use it, option was there. I got room on 16th floor so again great view from the room. Well appointed although not very spacious, everything working, marble bathroom with upscale toiletries. Bathrobe and iron among conveniences. Very good breakfast with variety of Asian and western dishes , fruits , pastries. No problem with visitors at all, no questions , no raised brows , no winks even if one of my guys , heavily tattooed with sleeveless shirt was kind out of place both staff and guest kept their composure. Walking distance to Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi BTS, right beside Red Planet hotel where is 7/11 store. Not sure will stay again due to expense but definitely don’t regret that splurge. GLITZ Right around the corner from Tawan so close to everywhere. Room a bit on smallish side but everything working, very little street noise sipping in, not much of a view but very convenient. I had guy with me both nights so registered him as a guest but I doubt it would be any problem with visitors. Only problem was air conditioner blowing straight on a bed but that could be cured by being closer together. Access through card and that caused a bit of middle of the night problem. My guy went to eat something at 2 a.m., go figure ! Left stupidly his card on reception and upon return no personnel was there to retrieve it from so he got stuck for few hours and had no way of opening door leading from reception upstairs . LESSON TO LEARN - NEVER LEAVE KEY OR CARD ON RECEPTION IN SMALLISH HOTELS WITH ONLY ONE PERSON ON DUTY. Imagine me, waking up to empty bed in dead of the night , not knowing what is going on with guy returning only at 6.30 or so. Small warning- they require 500 baht key card deposit Other warning about Glitz – there’s no elevator. Will stay again BAAN SILOM soi 3 Currently my favorite in the Silom area. Spacious room and bathroom, full size refrigerator, well positioned air conditioner. Oddly , no kettle. No problem with visitors, no question asked and I had more than one. 7/11 across the soi. Bit walk from Silom but none of guys I brought complained. During day busy neighborhood market just around the corner . Definitely will stay again BAILY XPRESS PULA A little hidden in very small soi just off Silom but well posted. Room smallish but very well organized, full bath tube. No windows just glass panels instead so no noise. Toiletries provided. No problems with visitors, no questions asked. Ordered waking up call and phone rung exactly as ordered to the minute. A/C very well positioned. I liked it very much , almost at par with Baan Silom and will definitely stay again. Small warning- they require 1000 baht key card / damage deposit. In all hotels mentioned WI-FI was working perfectly I will report about Pattaya hotels in a separate post

Having freshly returned from Thailand I can only second that statement. Lots of boys available and very keen on offs, fact that I managed 11 LT for 14 nights there says it all. Weather was very pleasant too with only 2 major rains in 2 weeks. As for long flight for short trip , I did it last year in October and was surprised to find it worthwhile so asianstudent , go for it. Specially with cheap airfare.

I say, bravo! If you can relax and sleep on the plane, even better. Now is a great time to be in Bangkok.

Thank you everyone. 5 days won't be enough to see all the boys I want to, and I agree with Boy69 that it will be too much hassle to take for such a short trip. but I decided to see how much hassle it could be. as GoldMember said, a trip is better than no trip. and being able to see some boys will be better than none. So, I just went ahead and purchased a ticket. @GoldMember : thanks much for the info. I have never been to one before, but would love to check it out since I will be there in the same period.

After my first , life -changing stay in Pattaya, I sought a way to return as soon as possible. I was working at the time. I managed five nights from London, plus a night on the plane and a late arrival home on the seventh. I was twenty plus years younger and I couldn't do it now that jet-lag is much more of a factor. But it was worth it!

In my opinion, A trip is better than no trip. One of my best trips ever was Bangkok's 2018 White Party. I came just for the weekend (3 nights) plus 11 hour flights for each direction. I say go for it :) If you have some flexibility with dates and enjoy gay circuit parties, consider coming at the beginning of October.

I'd encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity. I returned home a week ago from a six day 16K mile round trip to Bangkok. Not sure if I would do it again BUT it was a very good time...biggest issue for me is my hamstrings atrophied from all the sitting.

We went to Moonlight last Friday for the 10.30 show. The place was crowded but it was slightly disappointing there were only 5 models performing. Mr York (who did the shower show), Mr Nicky (who I thought looked a little tubby), the model with blond hair and two others. Mr Babe appeared at the end when the models were dancing in the front row but all his attention was focused on a table of girls who he was certainly working on. I think for me I had read so much about Moonlight and their models that it my mind I was expecting something mind blowing - I'm not in the market but I thought a couple of the go go boys were very enticing. Renan is a good guy! I have never hired him for a programa, but I introduced him to a friend because when I saw him, I just knew he was his perfect type. REPORT: In the past year i have been to Sao Paulo quite a lot but have done a terrible job at reporting here. but i will try and do a better job henceforth. Sao Paulo: Got to Sao Paulo late afternoon on Thursday 9/5 had a good dinner at hotel unique. I had initially planned to meet a guy i met on instagram for some fun but I sent him a message and he never responded so i just prepared for my meeting the following day and slept instead of going out because i wanted to be in tip top shape for my meeting in the morning. Friday morning I woke up hornier (if that is a word) than usual so i contacted a former GP who is now a gogo dancer, he stated his price, i told him to come over, when he arrived i realized i had left my condoms and lube at the airbnb in Rio so i asked him if he brought any accoutrements to which he responded in the negative. I will take the blame for this fiasco i gave him his money and asked him to go. giving him that money was very hard as a matter of principle and how unperturbed he seemed about taking money he had not earned. I went for my meeting at USP and that was very successful so that brightened my day a little bit. This was a way better experience than at Solaryun. The tantric massage was with Jonathan and Giovani. the massage was great and needless to say it was more than a happy ending . i went home rested a little bit more and then went to Lagoa. There were some few boys that I was interested in but i have never learned to muster enough courage to go up to them so i just sat down with two clients i had met there a few trips ago. One of the guys that i liked grabbed my arse and asked if it was real to which I responded in the affirmative and I asked him his rate, we talked a little bit more and we went up to a room it was a really good session. But I was slight daft and put my phone in my side pocket so it flew out of my pocket and smashed the screen into very tiny bits rendering it utterly useless. I still went ahead with the tour but so mad that i could not take any pictures of the gorgeous view of Rio on top of the hill. I liked the trek up the hill and the view was worth every step. We met two other guys; a Brazilian who stays in London and a Portuguese who grew in Mozambique, on the trail whom we started talking to. we had lunch with them in the favela after the trek and it was the most delicious meal i have had in Brazil. I went back home and slept because I was really tired. I woke up around 1800 took a shower and went to Pointe 202. It was my first time and I was like lost puppy another customer showed me around the place and told me about a drag and stripper show later that night. there were not a lot of boys that I really liked so i did not do any program with anyone but I met a bunch of clients that i talked to. I really liked pointe 202 but the music was way too loud and the owner had the AC blasting away until someone told him to turn the bloody thing off. The drag show was good. I liked it, i picked on a little bit but i could not understand anything they were saying. I have to say though there several clients at pointe 202 that night that i would have loved to get in my bed. there is something about grey hair and maturity which is such a turn on!!! one of the boys who happens to be an Uber driver offered to take me to my airbnb, he was looking for a programa but i politely refused and payed him for the trip and a little bit extra for being so polite. I went to his place and we had a great time together. he could not speak a word of english so we used google translator. we had brunch together after. As I was walking back to my airbnb i saw this sexy roughly early 60s man we flirted in passing but i was running late to go to Club 117 so I could not stop to talk to him. Went home took a nice much needed shower and went to Club 117. definitely larger and nicer, more boys and a lot more that i could actually have programas with. One of the boys that could speak english showed me around and sat with me for a bit. He was different, he was not ripped liked the rest of the guys but he was really sweet. He told me he had stayed in Orlando for a bit but had to come home to help with some family issues. We got a suite and got down to business he was muito carinhoso as they say. After the programa he got dressed sat with me for a little bit and left to begin his long journey back home. I sat down to enjoy the drag show, one of the drag queens could speak english so i could laugh at some of the jokes. I need to learn more Portuguese!!! Another boy (more like a man) approached me and asked if i wanted sex, he was exactly my type, slightly older than most of the guys there a nice trimmed beard and slightly balding kkkkkk so i said yes. He was not as good as the first guy but not too bad. i paid him went downstairs and paid my tab (I got a free entrance because i won the bingo). i walked a little bit down the street to get a taxi but I walked through a bunch of streetside restaurants with a lot people so i sat there and ordered a drink. It was fun observing people. I got home woke up the following morning but because I did not have a phone i could not get in touch with many of the GPs that i had planned or had been suggested to me and that was a bummer. So i walked to Rua Farme de Amoedo and did a little shopping to drown my sorrows. But I remembered the Uber driver that took me from the airport had an Iphone and he was handsome with a baby face so when i got back home I sent him an Imessage from my computer and asked him if he could take me to the airport later that day and I also risked it and asked him if he wanted to do a programa. That was stupid but it worked. he came by an hour later and we had a great time!!! After he left took a walk on Avenida Atlantico, had a late lunch and then went back home to pack and wait for the driver. @lopesv2 thanks for all the recommendations as usual. I could have bought another phone but the new Iphone is out this week so i decided not to waste money. Will be back in Brazil SaoPaulo for a meeting 15th to 17th October and Rio 17th to 22nd. but my next stop is Abu Dhabi next week for work, wish me luck. kindly shoot me a message or just respond here if you have any questions.

Totally agree! Love the spaciousness of the grand deluxe room (45 square metres). There is a sofa area separate from the bed. I would be on my Ipad in the morning while my LT boy is asleep in bed. It also serves as perfect area to host drinking session for 2 to 3 boys. when will you be in Bangkok, ASN? If my work schedule allows me, I might just hop over from Singapore to meet you over the weekend!

good choice as those rooms at Raya are pretty sizeable you can dance all the way from door to the bed with your chosen one.

As promised , few impressions from Pattaya hotels used recently CLASSROOMS Above ABomb bar, one of my favorites of all time. Spacious rooms, ones on top floor with sea view and ample balcony are particularly recommended. Even if they are two bars downstairs very little noise is coming to the rooms. Entry by discreet side doors so quite private , no problems with visitors nether from guests not bar girls. Some even nodded approvingly it was my impression seeing me opening door to two different handsome guys the same night, LOL. Rooms very spacious which I like, with seating area. They did not forget about necessities in the bathroom like toothbrush, condoms, lube etc. which can be purchased with very little mark-up ( toothbrush just 5 baht more than at 7/11, condoms 10 baht extra ). Kettle, microwave, cutlery , all kitchen conveniences included so my guy who wanted white wine was drinking it from proper glass ! Very popular, will stay again and hopefully again and again. Pretty strict with 3 p.m. check in time so take it into considerations , like lady on reception told me explaining ‘ our guests are waking up late” LE CAFÉ ROYAL, BOYZTOWN Renovated, now all room painted in white theme with psychedelic green fluorescent lights but when you turn it off and on again it becomes normal white light. Oddly , it was only hotel out of 8 I slept in this trip which requested my guest ID. I was on third floor so not much noise from MUSIC bar downstairs, Good value, last minute room for 20 $. As with all Boyztown hotels, whole soi can see whom you are hosting, on another hand one can’t be more close to the action so all depends on preferences, funny I did not mind but my boy did as he was known to the boys in the soi. ZING RESORT, JOMTIEN COMPLEX Not to be mixed with Zing hotel closer to Pattaya proper. Very good value for money with all conveniences in the room. Pool accessible to guests. Mixed clientele but many gays , lots of them escorted and did not notice any fuss. Entry possible with bypassing reception so visitors are no problem. Breakfast provided but not included in the rate, pretty good selection, 220 or 250 baht per person , can’t recall exactly. Will stay again THE VENUE, JOMTIEN COMPLEX Good value for money with Junior suite particularly very good value , spacious room with seating area and a couch, big window. Spiral staircase and working elevator, entry before reaching reception so visitors no problem, facing main soi of complex so may be a bit noisy but not this time. Entry by old fashioned key. Will stay again. both Complex hotels are walking distance to an airport bus station as an additional bonus.

Thank you for your suggestion. I just reserved a "suite" room at Raya. It is about $20/night more costlier than Novotel Silom, but I decided to choose it for the exact same reason you mentioned. my focus will be on Lucky Boys and other bars on the same street, and Moonlight.

You’re not alone @RA1 I am very particular about “who I ride on” but that’s me, I’m a demanding top with a dominant streak. Also I am very fussy about which airlines I use. Safety records do differ.

The Novotel Silom is a good hike (or short ride) from Patpong and Silom. I'd choose the Raya for the far more convenient location. But I'd keep in mind that the Raya has many rooms with artificial windows. If having a real window is important to you, I'd contact the hotel a day or two before arrival and confirm your preference. Last time I stayed there I had booked a room with real widow only to be assigned to one with a blank one. I arrived about 10p.m. and desk said all the rooms with windows were occupied.

I must disagree with comments above it's an exostting long flight one day is wasting for flight and the second to recover from it with the jet lag issue so you probably have 4 to 5 nights in the land of smiles 200 $ reduction on your air ticket is not a substantial amount to tempt me to do this if I were you . too much hussle for very short trip in my humble opinion.

Following a members recommendation my partner and I have just spent 3 nights at Le Siam Hotel.Bangkok. We stayed in a Classic room (which is the entry level), the room is described as 21 meters, which felt comfortably large enough for us, and looked like it was newly renovated. The breakfast was great with the eggs and bacon being cooked to order. Very friendly staff I paid on Agoda 1700 baht per night including tax and service

Thanks much for your thoughtful reminder. I am thinking of Bangkok. I haven't been to Pattaya yet. Traveling for more than 8000 miles each way just for a 5 day trip is definitely not an ideal vacation. But incredibly cheap tickets price is very hard to resist. It usually costs me more than $ 1000 to fly to BKK, but now a major airline departing directly out of where I live, with only one layover, for less than $800 is quite tempting.

I would really think twice about going so far for such a short time, but you are a grown man so the choice is yours. At least you will sleep VERY well on the way back. Are you going to Bangkok or Pattaya?

Into almost 6 months from my last visit, I am contemplating another visit to the land of smiles (and boys) again. It's gonna be quite short since I am going to have only 7 days off. It means after spending almost 30 hours in the air (and for a layover), I am gonna have only 5 solid days to enjoy.. not sure if it's worth it.

Great meeting up with you again on Friday Michael and was a really fun evening, felt like we gently 'ramped up' thru the night from Screwboys (still one of my favs) and your Khmer was VERY cute...to Freshboys 2 which had a lovely selection (lots of hot Thai, Khmer, Viet, Myanmar & Laos boys). But as you say the 'main event' was definitely Luckyboys which was just heaving with talent...sheer 'ranks' of hot boys on stage, really quite something to behold, think I was there for 45 mins (in total) that night and I still kept seeing boys popping up near the end that were catching my eye. I offed the 2nd Viet guy I called over for ST only after the 1st one of my 'regular' LT Viets gave me a green card (always best to check with the boss!)...actually he encouraged it as I was 'helping' his pal as he put it. When I came back into Patpong 2 later that night ended up at a funny little beer bar with 6 Viet waiters / barboys for an unexpected lock-in (but that's another story). Out of the 2.5 week trip I spent 7 days in BKK (4 at the front end and 3 at the back) and visited Luckyboys 6 of those nights and was never bored or disappointed, think we're all Lucky (excuse the pun) to have access to such a club. It does vary depending on where you sit so I do 'get' some of the other posters comments but once you've learnt the layout its ok imho plus just get there before show-time and you'll have more choice of good seats. I avoid sitting up in the 'gods' unless there's nothing else available or I know exactly who I'm in there looking for. Screwboys the following Saturday night was also busy but I got there later (after 10pm) so they had more guys working by then Will try and stick a 'Synopsis' of the trip up when I get time...I've probably bored Paul-SF, Colm-X & your good self to death already with my over-sexed (post offs) LINE ramblings already so apoligies...lol

I was never seated in the high sofa seats in the rear so I can't comment on them but I believe, as you say, they were designed for groups. They also allow a degree of privacy that the ones closer to stage don't. If you want to be seated elsewhere, I'd let the mamasan know. It's a big place and seats turn over frequently. Overall, I think Lucky Boys utilizes its space better than the other bars. The sight lines are excellent and unobstructed for the most part. You have to put the stage somewhere and LB's is large and can accommodate a lot of talent. You do have to tilt your head up a bit if you're in the very front seats but I find the perspective they offer worth the effort. I think Freshboys offers good stage views although most are from the sides. Dreamboys is handicapped by the huge column directly in front of the stage. Hotmale offers pretty good views.

Thailand is one of the safest countries in the world I also like to walk everywhere especially at nights when the weather is more calm never faced any problem at Thailand ,I admit the South America is putting me off because of the high crime rate there maybe someday I will get the courage to visit there.

No only I can vouch but need to inform you that when I went there last night at 9 at least two mamasans were asking me ''where are your friends"'?. On personal note I must say that I was never so welcomed at that location / Jupiter , Boy66, now Moonlight / like yesterday so certainly we left good impression without lavishing those stupid garland. One of the boys I left 100 baht tip went even as far as going from the stage to welcome me in the bar , fact that there were only 2 other customers no doubt contributed to that welcoming but certainly 'genius loci ' of that location changed for a better as far as I'm concerned

One thing for sure, it makes others who wants to give 100 baht tips feels inferior to do that when others are tipping big lol. I am so tempted to give babe something but he isnt the best guys i see that night for me. And mine goes to boss (100) and nut (200) and i get to give it personally when they do a number that makes all the models to goes down in a row same level with entrance and i can say they both appreciate my small tips very much. Vinapu can vouched for me haha

While I believe in tipping guys generously for service rendered, lavishing 1000 baht tip on just being on the stage and looking pretty defies logic and probably is done by patrons trying to impress people they are with. By the way my customary 100 baht deserting tip was lavished on #4 and Smart , the model.

New, improved formula of the show is great, full audience for the show last night, models looking outstanding but only six out of seven were rewarded with those garlands of fake notes, one who did not get one was shockingly HM Babe, it looked strange.Uncrowned king in the middle of 7 and only one without crown. Great performance and great show, Babe did shower show , sexy like hell, few regular boys are very good dancers, towel number with 4 models very sexy , all in all well worth 450/ second drink 350 /. Three of us were grabbed from the street by no one less than former bandanna barker from Hot Male , no longer wearing bandanna but still looking somewhat attractive for me, it must be some spell he thrown at me or something.
