No problem. The massage places work differently from the saunas. You see only the boys there. They do not allow clients to see each other. It is bit more expensive than saunas. 200 for 1h, + 100 tip5 points -

Well all the massages be it Tantric or Sensual have resulted in Sex. Heading to Rio and Sao Paulo Next week and I have already made reservations at Solaryun in rio and Xtudiolotus in Sao Paulo. In both places I have booked to have more than just tantric massage more like a spa day with a four hands massage and threesome ecstatic ending. I liked Spazio and Estudio5 in SP too. I have never really been disappointed in any of these places.3 points -
Let's say the tip is for services way beyond the massage.... If only for massage, there is no tip needed.3 points

Hi @mvan1 I've never been to VIla Gianni, but from what I've read it is a similar experience. You need to book in advance, just send them a message on whatsapp. Can be 15 minutes before, but they need to know that you are going there. I believe the managers can understand english, but keep it simple. You can select from the pictures or ask who is there and if you can choose in the massage place. @ Inhouse the boys will enter, one each time, in your room and chat a bit before you choose.3 points

This one: https://www.goldtherapy.com.br/index.php It is near Lagoa. SP has 5 "massage places" that I know: 1) Gold https://www.goldtherapy.com.br/index.php 2) Inhouse http://www.inhouseagencia.com.br/ 3) Xtudio Lotus https://xtudiolotus.com.br/ 4) Studio5 http://massagemmasculinasp.net/ 5) Spazio http://www.spaziomasculino.com.br/ Spazio is near Veloso, a bar that has a very good coxinha and caipirinhas.3 points

You describe it well @Riobard but then I have always thought that Circuit parties are for fit, muscled guys in the 25-35 age range to meet each other. Mykonos has always attracted that crowd and being much older, I wasn’t bothered. Interestingly enough I met there some good looking younger men (21-30) who were very dismissive of the gay steroidal overbuilt crowd (their terms).3 points

If you are older, fairly flush yet not loaded with a yacht, and not with friends or a straight holiday toy, I imagine the "circuit" would not be the greatest experience and the party atmosphere on a cloistered brothel island might be more likely to leave you uncomfortably labelled and stereotyped by working guys you hire because they tend to congregate together and gossip. If you don't need to T-dance your ass off with your clothes on, and prefer to sleep restfully, better off taking a guy to an idyllic low-key setting.2 points
-
I’m glad you had a great time @Badboy81 I’d just add to your comment on the prices on the island that it is VERY expensive, more costly than even in prime spots in the South of France. I agree that the island is extremely gay-friendly, but it’s no longer primarily a gay resort. It is nowadays just as popular with a straight crowd, so a lot of the male eye-candy is heterosexual. I only went once and that was with an attractive younger companion; my impression was that the buff men were interested in other buff men; and there were very few working guys - I chatted to one (a fit young Brazilian) who was there as a vacation-rental by an older man.2 points

I understand the reluctance to pay that insane entry fee, BUT: getting a MB for that is beside the point... apples and oranges. You get a TOTALLY different experience at the o-party. MB is just the usual 1-on-1, the o-party is the o-party as described by @Bravo. I've been to it several times (both at R3 (in it's first incarnation) and Sauna Mania) and you REALLY can't compare it to 1-on-1 sex, not even to a "normal" sauna visit. Tip: I don't know how old you are and look and if you could get away with pretending to be under 50. A good way to try is to have the exact entry fee of 350 ready and put it on the counter matter-of-factly, no even glancing at the sign board with the prices at all. If you look credibly in the maybe below-50 range chances are the clerk will just accept the money and let you in. Of course our own perception of our look may not be the best guide as we have a different perception of ourselves, just as always perceive the Thais as younger than they really are LOL. Worth a try though. Never try never know.2 points

Hi All, New to the site. I am thinking about visiting Sao Paolo and wanted to look into some of the local GPs. I would found some that I like and I was wondering if any of you had any experience with them. Any info is appreciated (personality, cost, passivo or activo, english-speaking). 1. https://garotocomlocal.com.br/acompanhante-masculino/rafael-moura/ 2. https://garotocomlocal.com.br/acompanhante-masculino/joao-miguel/ 3. https://www.vivalocal.com/acompanhantes-gays/bela-vista/garoto-de-programa-s-o-paulo-/198799076 4. It seems like the link to this vivelocal profile no longer works. Anyone know him or if he is at any of the saunas?1 point

Thank you for the additional information. Based on what you described, Villa Giani is similar as you supposed. There is no problem with the requirement for me to book in advance. I suppose I can get their whatsapp number either on the internet or call them on their regular phone to get the whatsapp number. Thanks also for the comment about the managers possibly speaking English. However, after my sixteen years of visiting Brazil more than one hundred times for extended periods of time, I have no problem communicating in Portuguese. . What a unique alternative to the saunas. I have seen many saunas go out of business over the years. The idea seems great for both the client and the garoto. No one I met has heard of this alternative and no garoto ever mentioned the alternative to me. Thanks again -1 point

Of course, there is the offset of Lagoa entrance and suite charges to pretty much cover the "tip", but one also wonders what "intimate" choreography happens, eg, rub'n'tug, or more? Upsells for "more"? Tantric is non-ambiguous in terms of agenda, but it may be limited? Or does "tip" mean the extra favours? If discretion needed here in these reports, perhaps a total quote for typical full service equivalent to the sauna brothel.1 point

I have been visiting Brazil for sixteen years and never heard of this alternative way to meet a garoto. I will have to check it out next time I return, which should be in September. I think many of us are so accustomed to the sauna and its ease of meeting guys, it will a new experience using this alternative. Is is possible to have a short conversation with the garoto before agreeing to a massage? What if you go to the facility and there is no one to your liking - are you obliged to stay until someone appears? Is it somewhat like Vila Gianni in London? Thanks in advance1 point

Thanks for the information about the Gold reference. I am only familiar with the guys at Lagoa or Fragata (and other saunas) who offer massage service. I was not aware of off premises (sauna) facilities.1 point

Hi, You got me confused! I know Sao Paulo well. I am not aware of a Gold gym or a massage place called Gold. There is a sort of gym called Gold S Gym located in an area of Sao Paulo called Morumbi which is way out in the newer area of Sao Paulo where Hyatt Hotel and Hilton et are relocated. That area is far from most places although there is a shopping area nearby. Foot traffic around Hyatt and Hilton is near impossible due to heavy traffic and the lack of sidewalks in the area. Do you have information about a gym called Gold that is closer to Sao Paulo rather than out in Morumbi? Below is what is shown on the internet for "Gold" which is not a gay place at all. Hi, It appears you got your photos from one of the advertising sites in Brazil that advertises escorts. Even though the advertising sites are tempting, you, as a new visitor to Brazil, are better off meeting escorts at the rent saunas. There is safety in the saunas. One of the most important things a new visitor to Brazil needs is safety. Meeting a guy from an ad could result in a wonderful meeting. However, it could also result in an advertiser using fake photos to lure you to their facility. New visitors should get their fun at the saunas where you have the safety factor. As to your question about English speaking - - - don't count on it. English is not normally spoken in Brazil. If you have a smart phone, you can use the translator function to communicate with escorts so that you have a good understanding of any agreement you make with the escort. You mentioned your desire to visit Sao Paulo. There are two rent saunas in that city. I think you will not have any problem meeting escorts if you visit those Sao Paulo saunas. The most popular sauna is Lagoa. Most likely, based on the photos you posted, Lagoa is where you will find what you seek. The other sauna in Sao Paulo is Fragata which can be good but also it is unpredictable with some nights very empty of escorts. Good luck on your trip.1 point

Mykonos....OHHHH Mykonos
mvan1 reacted to SolaceSoul for a topic
I have some friends (more like acquaintances) who also attended XLsior in Mykonos this year. They enjoyed Mykonos but they also really like gay circuit parties. I, on the other hand, no longer really get into them. There is a large group of muscular, body boys who save up all of their coins to hit many of the gay circuit parties all over the globe. They do not all have sugar daddies — that is a myth — although some or many of them wish they did have them. Many of these “circuit gays” save up all of their money to go to these parties, to meet other circuit gays like them. They work out in gyms, diet and take drugs to get their bodies looking their absolute best for these circuit parties. A lot of them are also recreational drug users. These are the same kinds of circuit gays that fly to São Paulo and Rio, and can’t wait to party all night and day at The Week on Saturday (they also have little interest in the working boy saunas in Brazil, for the most part). I agree that there are very few posters here who would feel they fit in at XLsior, or any of the other gay circuit parties for that matter. These tend to be very “body conscious” and “looks conscious” events. Assuming the average boytoy poster does not meet these strict physical standards, then the posters would probably not feel welcome —- and if they are economical travelers and buyers of sex, then their money would not go very far at all (often times, even the escorts who travel to these parties are unavailable for hire during these events). It is no different from the posters here, who love the payboy saunas, not feeling very comfortable at The Week in Rio or São Paulo — because of the loud, thriving, modern music, the late nights / early mornings, the recreational drug use, and all the shirtless hunks that are completely unavailable to or open to them. To each his own. But this is most likely the wrong crowd for OP’s post.1 point -
the infamous TM30
faranglaw reacted to DivineMadman for a topic
For the ordinary tourist TM-30 is irrelevant. He or she will usually be staying at hotels, which have been filing TM-30 for many years. The ordinary AirBnB person is probably not staying long enough to file a 90-Day Report. Anecdotally -- at least in Bangkok -- a short-term stayer who simply wants to extend his 30-day visa-exempt entry is not being checked for TM-30 (but that of course could change). And Immigration is not checking for.a TM-30 on departure, so for the regular tourist, it's a nothing. For the longer stays, it does seem to be an issue for people who have an interaction with their local immigration offices. There are so many hundreds of reports of people being checked for TM-30 compliance at Changwattana and other branches of Immigration, I simply don't believe that they are all under some sort of mass delusion or are lying. There was even a discussion at the Foreign Correspondents Club about TM-30 with representatives from Thai Immigration. So it seems very real. For some people the potential fine is a chunk of change they don;'t want to pay. If your landlord doesn't file a TM-30 for you - and that depends on whatever arrangements you may have with your landlord - you can file TM-30 yourself in your capacity as possessor. Again, if you believe the many, many, many people reporting on their experiences at Changwattana, if their address on their extension of stay does not match the most recent TM-30 or there is no TM-30 on file, extension of stays will not be processed until after being sent off to a special TM-30 compliance circle of hell. There people can self-file the TM-30 and usually pay a fine. Occasionally people seem to have brain farts and get hung up on the idea that the landlord and only the landlord can file. This is simply not true,. Self-filing is permitted as "possessor." And, as mentioned above, how people are handling it. There are reports of inconsistent practice within the same Immigration office on whether someone has to re-file a TM-30 after returning home from a stay in another province. I believe that this was discussed at the Foreign Correspondents Club and the answer from the Immigration officers were, "yes absolutely." As I think I mentioned earlier in this thread, there is an app and an online way to register and report, but they are buggy and there's a significant backlog in approvals. Sort of like Obamacare rollout in the U.S., the technology isn't ready. Again - solely for people who stay long enough that any of this matters - a painless way to deal is simply to download and print the TM-30 from Immigration and mail it in with a stamped/addressed return envelope and Immigration sends the TM-30 receipt back to you.1 point -

From Khaosod English BANGKOK — A decade ago, when Kindle was on the rise, Kaweewut Wuttiwibhu thought e-reading would spell the end of physical bookshops like his own. But Dasa Book Café still thrives as an established hub of Bangkok book lovers, especially those seeking English reading. “Thais, particularly the younger generations, are reading more English-language books,” co-owner Kaweewut, 45, said Tuesday. “It may be a trend for things analogue.” The charm of Dasa, meaning slave or servant in Sanskrit, is that you can resell the books that you buy. Customers are spoilt for choice by a selection of some 15,000 volumes. Kaweewut believes the demand for English-language books in Bangkok is growing as more Thais learn English from social media. Whatever’s behind the trend, Kaweewut and his business partner, Donald Gilliland, welcome it – it’s good for the shop, which has been open since 2004. Buyers can sell back purchased books at 50 percent of the paid price if they use the money to buy more books at the shop, or at 40 percent of the paid price if they want to keep the cash. Guidebooks can’t be resold. Books can only be resold within six months after the date of purchase, a period that was shortened from a previous rule of one year. Kaweewut explained that some customers handled books mercilessly, and he had to refuse beaten books and books that had clearly been plunged into the sea or a swimming pool. Dasa also carries some titles in French, German, Scandinavian, and Finnish. Prices range from 50 to 3,000 baht, although most books are priced around 200 baht. Used books are usually priced at half the price of new books, Kaweewut explained. Dasa Book Café is open everyday from 10am to 8pm. It is located between Sukhumvit Soi 26 and 28 Continues with photos http://www.khaosodenglish.com/life/2019/08/21/dasa-book-cafe-serving-bangkoks-english-language-bookworms/1 point

Planning a longer trip - holidays 2019

I thank you deeply for taking the time not only to explain my mistake but also on explaining the proper way to fix it. I'm doing the Singapore part of my trip with my parents. My dad likes the Shangril-la on other cities so he asked to choose that hotel from your list. My parents wanted to keep the MBS for at least 2 nights to see what all the fuss is about. So we will be doing 2 nights at the garden wing in Shangri-la and 2 nights at MBS. You saved us about 600 USD and probably some misery. Thanks again. Will update on my impressions of both hotels.1 point -

Have you been to sauna mania before? The main floor at the counter is where the lockers and gym are, one level up is maze/dark room, another level up is where the steam room/sauna room/ space with chairs to chill and nice view of outdoors, and then the highest level. Event is held on the highest floor, which is basically a very open large space with mats, a few small beds. You can add r3-sauna on the Line App, they have photos of the calendar on their posts. For now it seems that there's a O-party every friday at sauna, and every sat at R3/ratchada, and even some sundays too, at least from august-september on their calendar. I do remember seeing a sign which says 2000baht for > 50 yo, 340 baht for normal fee. Not sure how strict they are about it though. Yea of course all are welcome to attend. I'm no beauty, but it's a slight turn on for me seeing guys who would normally not routinely attract these models to have a free go at them, groping/licking/sucking hah.. No, models don't require tips. Every has to be fully naked at the O-party, no towels, have to put towel away before going upstairs to the o-party, so yea no one brings thai baht or anything but condoms/lube up hah.1 point

Thanks! Haha i mean it's a holiday, gotta do whatever you want and like! Sauna Mania crowd ( although i only went 4-5 times total so far) is mainly asian - i would think maybe half local thai, and the other half from korea/japan/china. There are a few white guys although able to count. Age range I would think mainly 20s-30s, although there are quite a few older guys as well. I think no one is really totally comfortable in a sauna - naked men everywhere, at least for me. Definitely worth checking it out ha1 point

It is not only oil Brazil wants from the Amazon. Bolsonaro and his buddies want to clear the plant life in order to have more space to grow more exportable food and animal products, mainly - beef. Brazil is already a heavy exporter of beef and other farm products. The additional land made available (by burning and clearing the Amazon) will, supposedly, allow Brazil to increase farm production thus bringing in more money to Brazil via exports to other countries. As to the air being reduced from the deforestation - that is also a hoax according to Trump and Bolsonaro (despite scientific proof to the contrary). "Global warming is a hoax" is a montra often repeated by Trump and/or Bolsonaro and/or any of their many low IQ supporters). Trump has an easy solution for those who are gullible enough "to believe the hoax". If the worldwide oxygen really thins to a point of being an issue to all life (animal and plant), we humans can always survive if we each buy one of these things: https://store.mainclinicsupply.com/inogen-one-g3-portable-oxygen-concentrator-p/inogen-c.htm#&panel1-4?gclid=Cj0KCQjwwIPrBRCJARIsAFlVT8_Jn72_amf06p82nRV7v6Uy3axI9iNJTT1tOQAQTMSlPFFhh2HdpQAaAmCyEALw_wcB The morons (Trump, Bolsonaro and their puttet supporters) forgot to mention that food we eat to live (animal and plant life) also needs oxygen to grow and survive. Those morons offer no logical solution. They continue to repeat the false claim that global warming is a hoax and that deforestation of the Amazon is not a real threat. Moreover, such an act will result in a major source of food and revenue to Brazil. Rubbish -1 point
