  2. I know some of you noticed who's writing this post and are probably thinking, "what does this sex crazed tramp know about any non-sexual activities happening in Rio when all he does is get pounded out 24/7 on every trip he takes?" Well, the answer to your question is, "I only get pounded out 22/7 (smile) when I take these trips. The other 2 hours I use to explore these beautiful travel destinations." Let's start with my favorite place to eat breakfast in ipanema. The place is GRINGO CAFE. The owner is an ex-pat from California. His name is Sam. He is the nicest guy and very helpful to Americans who may need assistance while in Rio. I met him new years eve and he spoke about falling in love with Rio and deciding to make the permanent move there and open up his restaurant. The food, especially the breakfast, is great. His desserts are addicting. When I say desserts, I mean cheesecake, red velvet cake and other goodies he has at his restaurant. Before my hubby and I took our 12 day trip over to Rio we reached out to Sam because we wanted to find a gym to workout at while we were in Rio. I hit Sam up on FB and he responded within a day and asked that I contact him on whatsapp. Sam is such a helpful guy. Within 2 days He told us to go to smartfit and buy a $6 day pass to gain access to the gym. There is a kiosk at the front door of the gym and all we needed to do was use our credit card and we could workout. Smartfit is all over Rio and they all have the same kiosk and for $6 a day you can workout, cruise all the sexy beautiful men and peek at the guys who are busy on their cell phones tending to their grindr messages. SCRUFF is also a VERY POPULAR app in rio. I actually saw a billboard advertisement for scruff in ipanema. Rio also Has the orange itau bicycles all over the place. Omg..I love renting these bikes and exploring ipanema and copacabana. What I found out about the bikes on my last trip is, if you rent a bike from station 1, you DONT HAVE TO return it to station 1. You can return return the bike to station 5, 6, 7, 10, 100. To rent the bikes, go to the bike stand where the bikes are stationed, touch the screen at the stand, press the English option and follow the simple instructions. At that time, you can rent up to 4 bikes (depending on how many people are riding with you) for a small fee. It's very inexpensice. They will flash a code on the screen. I snapped a picture of the code just in case we forgot. My husband and I Input our code and took our bikes. We walked out of our apartment one afternoon, took an uber to the SHOPPING RIO SUL MALL. instead of going Into the mall, we found a bike stand and rented 2 bikes for the hour. If you go over the houR they will charge you extra but we didnt care. The bike ride was VERY NICE and we had a shit load of fun. We rode the bikes in front of sugarloaf mountain. The views were breathtaking. We stopped along the way and took pictures. I'm so happy we decided to do the bike ride because we saw so many interesting parts of Rio that we probably would have never seen because we are always in uber speeding past these various sites. Along the bike route were beautiful greenery, picturesque views of the mountains and beautiful water. I know I said this post was going to be non sexual, but the half naked men along the bike route made this ride even more interesting. The men there are just so beautiful. And they love showing off their sexy bodies and I love looking at their bodies and dick prints. Half of them dont wear underwear and are so carefree about not wearing any. About 15 minutes into our bike ride, we saw a man climbing a tall tree for coconuts, found a soccer field where some of the most gorgeous guys were playing their favorite sport. We also found a skate board park with ramps and beautiful brazalian men with no shirts having a ball doing tricks on their boards. This saturday bike ride made me fall deeper in love with Rio. We rode through tunnels and on pedestrian bridges to get back and forth to either side of the street. We were out for a good hour and fifteen minutes enjoying the cool weather and taking in all the beautiful scenery. After our bike ride we went to SHOPPING RIO SUL mall. It's a huge mall with lots and lots and lots of stores and a HUGE FOOD COURT. We decided to eat at the food court and walk this massive mall. The next day, Sunday, we took an uber to cinelandia. I told my hubby that I wanted to take the street tram to see more of Rio. In order to ride the tram you need to use your debit card to buy a tram card. The tram is very clean and modern. We sat on the tram and rode through downtown Rio taking in all the sites. We jumped off one train line and got on another to see as much as we could. The tram is the most inexpensive, relaxing way to see downtown Rio for about $10US pp. The tram takes you through business loops, residential neighborhoods and other areas of interest. There are about 3 or 4 train lines so make sure you get there around 11 in the morning if you want to get a full day of exploring In. The tram ride is amazing. You can get on and off if you like. Just dont lose your card or you will have to buy another. If you need to exchange money in copacabana go to BLAME IT ON RIO travel. The owner is Bobby. Hes an ex-pat from Florida. Bobby is so sweet. He opened a thriving business in Rio that does money exchange, countless tours and he even has a laundry mat to wash clothes. He actually gives the best exchange rates in copacabana. Bobby also likes Snyders pretzels so If you go, take him a bag and tell him, "Coach sent you." If anyone knows of anymore placew of interest to add, please share for the newbies and also some of us who may have gone to Rio, but not ventured off the beaten path.

  3. Lion s sauna in Rio I finally managed to pay a visit to this place. It is indeed a very large place with basically 3 buildings interconnected at various levels. First building, the widest, includes entrance and the main bar at street level, the sauna and room with seats at street level +1 and disco and bar at level +2. Main bar Disco room Second building is of 4 levels and include customers' locker room (level St +1), showers, toilets. Other 3 floors (St, St+2 and St +3) have rooms. Room at level Street +1 have no shower but they are clean. Mirror on ceiling gives an unusual and sexy vision of what is happening. Third building include a bar at street level, smoking room at St level +1 and boys lockerroom and shower at St level +2. This Friday there were more than 100 persons with customers significantly outnumbering boys (ratio : 2 customers for 1 boy). Boys are average. Some are of the former Meio Mundo type, some a bit out of shape, a few are really good looking. Current rate is 100 R$ (as required spontaneously by boys. 70 to 80 R$ should be accepted). Atmosphere is rather pleasant, music is good and not too loud (the place is so big that you can find places to chat if you want to). When I saw a guy I really liked who was entering the place, I went to meet him immediately. With such a large number of customers and the average look of boys, it is better to react quickly ! A. was not also great looking, he was very friendly, great kisser and power bottom. Not a clock watcher. A real gem. Show with Desiree was supposed to start at 9.30 pm but had not started at 10 to 10 when I left. I imagin thatshow take place in the disco which had been totally unused during the whole evening, including the bar which was not even manned. I was surprised by the small amount of the bill (3 foreign beers and 2 botles of water, plus entrance and room). I heard that cabins were free that day. Information on what is happening (time of shows, closing time....) on prices (entrance, drinks, room) is nowhere to be seen. No show of boys the whole evening and no wanking/video room as in 117 or in Pointe. The cage in main room is certainly here to have a stripper inside. Overall a good surprise, greatly supported by the discovery of A., a great boy.

  4. I always say and will repeat here again : internet forgets nothing. Those problems may surface not only when somebody will be running for the office or will be person in position in business , academia, arts etc, it carries also potential of ruining of person's family life - imagine discovering what beloved father did when he was in university. On another hand we may discover in future That society will move on and things carrying certain stigma now may be irrelevant in not so even distant future, many not so long ago closeted gays are now proudly announcing ' this is my husband". The same may happen to people who are prostituting themselves to go through university. Quite possible that my father who always said ' prostitution is job like any other and at least job is not dusty ' may turn out to be visionary.

  6. This is the highest i have ever paid for a sauna boy (amounts in BRL) in the home Brazil. 150 - standard programa 250 - overnight till after lunch 450 - day 1000 - weekend The averages are about 25% lower than the above. For internet guys i would say you roughly have to double the previous amounts.

  7. depends what you call a "lap dance." but a long time ago Montreal strip clubs in particular (and some other clubs in other places as well) had actual doors that could be secured in the rooms where you went for lap dances. So the definition of lap dance could be expanded... and in that case, the answer for me would be yes!

  8. SInce the day i went to live to Brazil, I have been posting some regular detailed reports about the situation of Brazilian saunas. From now on I am going to provide the smallest amount of what i believe it is the most helpful information to let you decide where to go and when, and what you''ll fine in there. The reports are based on the last 3 months (Apr-June) RJ-117 (typically toned to muscular very good-looking guys, great facilities) - Best day is still tuesday (free suites). Monday closed. Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays are still worth to visit (in this order). Fridays are hit or miss. Wednesdays are slow. RJ-202 (typycally a mixture between good-looking toned guys, and twinks, good facilities) - Best day is Wednesday (free suites). Tuesday closed. Friday (free suites) and Monday are worth a visit (in this order). Other days are slow RJ-NMM - Just forget SP-Lagoa (same description ad RJ-117, more model-looking guys, more gay looking guys) - Best day is Friday. Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays are IMHO worth a visit (in this order). Other days are slow SP-Fragata - Just skip BH-Olimpo - Cannot compare to other saunas because of the size. Hit or miss every day, but beautiful place where I always had at least one great encounter each day i went in there. PA-General - To me the sauna scene is dead in there....or at least on an halt.

    A big first world problem

From Bloomberg Financial Thailand Has a Developing Economy and a Big First World Problem Getting old can be hard under any circumstances, and harder still when you’re poor. That’s the predicament for Thailand, the developing country first in line to face the consequences of a first-world-style baby bust. Data published last month by the United Nations show births in Thailand have dropped to a level on par with Switzerland and Finland, two ultra-wealthy countries with which it has almost nothing else in common. Those numbers mean that more than a quarter of Thailand’s people will be over 60 by 2030—and most will be poor. The International Monetary Fund says a shrinking labor force will hold back economic growth by as much as a full percentage point every year for the next two decades. Rapid-aging is a condition that, until now, has really only afflicted the richest nations because low birth rates tend to go hand-in-hand with higher incomes. The best-known exception is China, where the one-child policy (abandoned in 2015) has set the stage for a population squeeze around mid-century. But it’s Thailand that is breaking new, treacherous ground by becoming the first big country to get old before it’s had a chance to become prosperous. “Clearly this is going to be an issue for Thailand and a challenge,” said Chua Hak Bin, an economist who covers Southeast Asia at Maybank Kim Eng Research Pte in Singapore. “Thailand is kind of stuck in the middle: It’s an emerging country and yet it faces the demographic headwinds you see in advanced economies.” For years, economists and government planners assumed that overpopulation was the world’s main demographic worry, not population loss. But that idea may be wrong. In the last 50 years, birth rates have dropped in every country on the planet. The change is happening as people move to cities, where women have more access to education and contraception. Fewer babies is good for many families and also the environment, but there are economic consequences, too: fewer consumers, workers and tax payers, and fewer people to care for the elderly. Since 2000, Thailand has urbanized faster than any other big country besides China, which is the main reason fertility rates are falling now. But the push to have smaller families started back in the 1970s, when an anti-poverty program swept the country led by an activist named Mechai Viravaidya, who became known as “Mr. Condom.” Over two decades, Thailand’s fertility rate plunged from 6.6 to 2.2. Young kids meet Mechai Viravaidya, aka Mr. Condom, in 1990. Photographer: Taro Yamasaki/The LIFE Images Collection via Getty Images One potential source of relief, though, may come from Thailand’s openness to immigration—an attitude that separates it from other places with population problems like South Korea and Japan. Foreigners make up 10% of Thailand’s overall workforce, with higher numbers at the biggest companies. “Foreign workers are more than willing to fill the gap,” said Pakpoom Srichamni, president of Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Pcl, a Bangkok-based firm of 10,000 workers, 30% of whom aren’t Thai. Even so, the country is already becoming a regional laggard, with average annual growth dropping every decade since the 1990s, from 5.3% to 4.3% to the mid-3s now. In the first quarter, growth clocked in at 2.8%, the slowest in more than four years. And with inflation stuck below 1%, interest rates under 2% and a rapidly appreciating currency, parts of the country’s economic profile are starting to resemble aging Japan more than developing neighbors like Indonesia or the Philippines. 10. I hope I will be forgiven to post it here. On a Thailand forum. I sometimes look at Chaturbate. And the Latino guys from South America are as sexy as the Thai boys I know from Thailand. But there is one big difference. Their education level. When I chat via pm with them I often ask what they study in University. Not seldom I get answers like radiology, medicine, mathematics, etc. I must admit I had some prejudices about guys who show themselves at Chaturbate: lower class background, poor families. But more and more I get the idea that prejudice is totally wrong. Yet it is strange to comprehend for me that the next supreme Court Justice of Colombia or the next particle physics professor at the most prestigious university in Medellin in his student years showed himself on Chaturbate. But in the near future it's probably possible that these things can be said about people like that, and not only about the next employee of the month at McDonalds. This means one thing: you need to know at a young age if you ever want to run for office. Because if you want, then showing yourself on Chaturbate in your younger years is a bad idea. The videos viewers made of you can show up years later when the opposition candidate shows them in his campaign. I wonder if these well off guys are aware of these risks.

  11. And the piped-in 80s music is the best! @SolaceSoul, yasssssssss! I forgot to mention the 80's music. I was there on my last visit a few weeks ago and another American guy with his family and I started singing and reminiscing about the songs being played while we ate breakfast.

  12. Gringo Cafe in Ipanema is great! It was right down the street from my last few apartments. It is one of the few places in Rio that actually gets American comfort food right. The TV is always on an American station. And the piped-in 80s music is the best! It’s not a common place for brasileiros, however. You’ll find many expats eating there, plus foreigners who have visited or lived in USA and a handful of tourists. I often try to take my favorite Brazilian boyfriends there to give them a taste of well-prepared American comfort food (which, believe it or not, many have never before experienced). But I try not to go there too much, because when I travel abroad, I aim to immerse myself in their culture. But yes, introducing Brazilians to (a good part of) American culture can be exhilarating as well!

  14. I believe that Christianpfc may have posted about this site on his blog a few years back. From the Bangkok Post The Makkasan train depot in downtown Bangkok used to be the country's main centre for locomotive maintenance. It means more than a final resting place for old locomotives and carriages as it has preserved the architectural integrity and beauty of a bygone era and united the spirit of the railway staff. (Photos by Patipat Janthong) The idea of an adventure walk through a run-down train yard overgrown with tall trees may not be everyone's cup of tea. However, under the partially obscuring canopy lies what once was the country's main train maintenance hub. Indeed, the 497-rai Makkasan depot has retained its significance even today, albeit for quite a different reason. Peeling off the depot's rusty facade reveals its charming architectural designs inherent in the old maintenance building while the sheer size of the place that has fallen into neglect and been taken over by trees makes its one of the city's largest green spots. However, a blueprint is on the State Railway of Thailand's drawing board to commercially develop the area. The plan could very easily spell doom for the depot's architectural charm, its green existence as well as the communities living there. To avert doom, the rail worker unions and architectural experts have agreed that developments do not always have to equate to the destruction of what came before and should be preserved. Having marked the 109th anniversary of its establishment late last month, the depot is being integrated into the 220-billion-baht high-speed train project linking three gateway airports -- Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang and U-Tapao. The Makkasan depot is eyed as a hub for the high-speed train scheme. Earmarked for development is Zone A, which is home to the maintenance operations. Most of buildings at the depot showcase striking architectural beauty with the oldest building, the Ror For Por 2465, having served as the maintenance centre for steam locomotives in the bygone era and for the diesel engines today. Old maintenance tools are kept at the buildings while two nearby warehouses store many types of hard and precious woods, including teak, phayung (Thai rosewood), shorea, and hopea, which were formerly used in railway construction. 16. There will certainly be left luggage lockers or a manned facility at every large transit airport in Asia. If in transit, it is almost certain your hold bag will stay with the airline (I believe). Even if you have to pick it up and go through customs, there is no point whatever in dragging that into the city. But it is good you brought this up because occasionally you might find a queue when you return to pick it up. So you need to add another 10 - 15 minutes to your schedule. Toilets. Aha! Sounds like you do not travel very often abidismaili! Wherever there are hotels, department stores, restaurants and even cafes, there will be toilets. Just walk in as though you are a customer, look for the toilet signs and make a beeline for them. No one will stop you! Smaller establishments may require a key obtainable from the cash desk. So look for larger establishments. Almost all hotels I have ever stayed in with a bar or a restaurant will have a toilet at that level. No one is going to stop you. One problem not yet discussed is currency. Anyone stopping over only for a few hours or even a full day is unlikely to have stocked up with Yen or NT$s or Chinese RMB in advance. But again all major airports will have currency exchange desks. Some airports like Taipei and Tokyo offer good rates more or less comparable to banks. At others like Bangkok and Hong Kong you may find the rate is not nearly as good. You can also get a small amount at your departure airport. But lets face it. You wont be using much and you dont have time to look around for the best deal. Even if you see a nice Prada handbag you want , the store will take credit cards.

  17. Interesting...the hotel's website now shows a discount for Thais... For those who are not Thai the prices are slightly higher than before the renovation. BUT on Agoda they appear to be the same as before - within a few baht of The Raya. I'm planning a November visit and will soon start being serious about what hotel to choose as my base camp.

  18. 1. if there's luggage storage facility in the airport / big if ? / I'd leave luggage there. Otherwise at railway / bus station it may be one. Third option is to look for some big shopping mall as they often have luggage storage facilities. Option # 4 is to rent room in cheap hotel close to the departing point and keep your luggage there , that is option I used few times when stopover was quite long like 6-10 hours. Option 5 is to arrange with airline that your luggage will be tagged through to destination. Option 6 is just to suffer in silence and carry luggage with you - lesser problem for those who, like me , are travelling light. Option 7 which I used quite a few times in my younger travelling years was just to leave luggage in the airport or railway station somewhere and hope for the best - it always worked for me. Unfortunately not because of terror scares that option is not valid anymore and unattended luggage may lead not only thief into temptation but us to bigger trouble. 2. do whatever we do when we go downtown in our own cities - shopping malls , restaurants, churches, metro stations , railway and bus stations, public parks , bigger stores, museums usually have something. Look for construction sites - portables may be open and accessible Otherwise look for bushes, not suitable in winter where's no foliage .And look at option 4 in point 1 above. Be prepared by not eating and drinking too much before you set for your sightseeing

  20. LOL. Definitely not. My face is much prettier. No bad surgery. Just a little Botox here and there. I'm also much younger. For now. Big ego. Normally, I don't mind that, especially if the talent is superior. Rumor is she slapped a few stagehands. I usually don't believe rumors. People in show business often just make shit up. You can get sued for hitting people on the job, and Faye doesn't have a lot of money. She needs to protect what she has. That's why I'm reluctant to believe the rumor. There's also word she was absolutely terrible in the role. The comments attached to the article are very interesting. It's as if her enemies in show business (there is a trail) are speaking up anonymously. Fun read.

  21. Re the Tokyo online Host boys I should have added the price list. 70 minutes in your hotel room will cost 13,000 Yen - thats about $120. You usually pay the boy but some host bars request advance payment by credit card. No tips are expected. If public transport is required to get to your hotel you may also be asked to pay for that. But it will be peanuts. You can go to the bar and hire a room there if you wish and that sets you back another $10 or so. In addition to the list below, there are overnight rates. But given that the cheaper hotels in Japan have very small single beds, I would not recommend it unless you book a much more expensive double room. Besides, overnight rates are much more expensive! The websites also give information of when each boy is available each day and that information is posted several days in advance..

  23. Can’t say that my Grindr is “lighting up like a Christmas tree” but it’s been two twinks a day since yesterday’s arrival. All free. Tomorrow I’ll try for a threesome. It’s not that I have a preference for the young, smooth and slim but they seem to have preference for me (45, tall and hairy) even without a face picture. I did have a wonderful session last night about 11pm with a very attractive, beautiful natural body and bearded 36 yo guy visiting from CDMX. Thankfully I have a beautiful, private, Airbnb by Parque Santa Lucia. Easy in, easy out. Markets and ruins by day and cocks and asses by night

  25. Wasn't there a whole thread about trying to ensure a more successful off? I think this is an easy part of that. If your place isn't truly close by local standards, then indulge the guy and make him feel a tad bit better by taking a taxi or tuktuk. If it's your first time with a guy, they are also wondering about what kind of person you are. If I'm heading home alone, I happen to walk, because it's nice. But if I'm with someone, I don't impose by 10,000 steps a day (or whatever) regimen. I'll usually take a guy back with me by tuktuk, even though tuktuk's aren't really designed for someone my height, just because that way it's sort of a fun amusement ride for me. That way everybody's happy and my guy has saved his energy for the fun stuff. Separately, I'll note that Iv'e gone trekking in forests, climbed mountains (literally) and walked all over for hours at a time with different guys. I know one guy who regularly runs half-marathons, another particularly good friend runs in Lumpini Park every day, and another who rides his bike there. And one needs only go to a night market (or similar) to see that the local guys can walk for hours and hours. I like to walk, but I have friends in NYC who would rather die than walk a mile, so we take taxis there. Same same.
