Petropolis Worth visiting. Just a few hints on Grindr there. BYOB (bring your own boy). I went there wit V. I had met a year ago in 117 and am meeting regularly since then. V. is great looking. Muscular natural body with a tribal tattoo on his left arm. Big dick. Manly face. Nice smile. Long eyelashes. Very easy going. Perfect latin lover. We left at 10 am. Buses to Petropolis leave from Rodoviara. We need to go to Central metro station then take a Uber to Rodiviara (Bus depart from center within a walking distance to Carioca metro station but we lnly found out on our way back). 1h30 minutes to reach Petropolis bus terminal outside of town (27 R$) then transfer to local bus 100 to reach town center (4 R$) or Uber (12 R$). Petropolis is in the mountains. Rather cold at night. Things to see : Museu imperial *** Catedral Sao Pedro de Alcantara *** Casa Santos Dumont * Trona Fatima * Disappointing. I was hoping to see spectacular view of the city from this mirador, but city is hidden by trees. Great view on the cemetery though ! Where to eat and stay Tradicao Mineiro *** Majorica Churrascaria *** Casablanca Center Hotel *** V. was great company. Easy going, fun, witty. Great sex. Never ending French kisser. Lot of laughs together eg - when we saw the only picture of young Reina Cristina, he said that he looked like a man. "She would fit in the 117 shows" answer make us laugh as college boys. - when we saw the strange amount of fine to park along the cemetery : 127,69 R$. We agreed on paying 127 R$ cash and the remaining 69 through sex. Laughs.2 points

Argentina and Rio de Janeiro July 2019
brockmiller and one other reacted to Latbear4blk for a topic
Montevideo was sweet but cold. My ferry was departing at 7:30 AM and I, following directions, planned everything to be at the port at 5:30. I got up at 4:30, took a shower, called my Uber, sat in the front seat with the Uber driver because in Buenos Aires they still are in the hide, and was at Buquebus terminal at 5:30 My last time there had been 25 years ago, the improvement was impressive. A crappy deck had turned into a huge, modern, International airport-like building. But of course the only visible humans were security guards and passengers, fuck my punctuality. At 6am the rest of the staff started to arrive and get ready for checking in and boarding. There were no delays, though. Customs, migration, and security checks were very smooth and easy. I noticed many English speakers, and for them it was just as sweet as it was for Mercosur citizens. I wanted to enjoy the view through the ship windows (it is a high speed vessel, you cannot go outside and there are no open windows) but the seat was comfortable and slept the whole trip. We departed on time, at 7:30am, and arrived on time to Montevideo’s port at 9:45. The port is right in my favorite neighborhood, la Ciudad Vieja (Old Town), and my plan was to walk around and in the rambla, until meeting with Will, silly me. All my previous visits to the city had been in the summer, when the beaches were booming and the rambla was an exciting mix crowd parade. But now it is winter. Not only the temperature was cooler than in Buenos Aires, but the wind was merciless, being the neighborhood in a peninsula. It was Tuesday, 10am, and everything look deserted, the businesses closed, and the people just waking up. I forgot about walking around and looked for a shelter in Google Maps. I found a place a few minutes away that was opened: The Lab Coffee Rosters. I am not translating the name, it was originally baptized in English. I picked it because despite being 10:30am everything else was closed. It ended being a great choice. They were in Calle Sarandí, probably the main pedestrian street in Ciudad Vieja, had a strong wifi, and knew how to fix a delicious strong latte. I arrived to the place well passed 10:30, and they were just opening and setting up. A coffee place to have breakfast. A Tuesday. Only in Montevideo. Even Argentinean small towns wake up earlier. There were just two customers when I arrived, and soon a group of five walked in. Everyone was speaking in English. The group seemed to be real state investors and developers. The two lonely customers were college age kids. One of them, a read hair girl, was joined by other two young ones, all of them English speakers I got to work on catching up for my blog. Meanwhile, I was in touch with Will to coordinate our meeting. He works as a nurse at a local clinic, and would be busy until 2. Will recommended me another coffee shop, called 11:11, also in Calle Sarandí two blocks away. The owners are his friends, and you are supposed to be able to eat loaded brownies with your coffee. I could not resist such a temptation however the place would not open until 1. Will would call his friends and we would be able to have the interview right there. At 1 I paid my check and moved to 11:11. The city seemed to be more alive now, and I walked around before getting in the cafe. The wind was freezing. Everyone seemed calmed and in a good mood, such a contrast against Buenos Aires craziness. I finally got into the place. It was in the third floor of an old building climbing through stairs. In the second floor there was a cannabis dispensary. Let me introduce here a report for our friend @numazu1. He asked me not for him but for a friend, I wonder whether or not he is Tomás. Numazu, you and your friend will not be able to buy anything in the dispensaries. Even Uruguayan citizens and permanent residents, who are the only ones who can purchase cannabis in an official store, must be registered and get an ID in order to trade legally. So the options for your friend are 1. To find a national who is registered and can buy for you, or 2. Buy in the street. I do not know how easy to get flowers is, but in my short walk at noon I heard several street vendors offering cannabis oils. Will’s friends were actually traveling abroad. As an example of how risky it may be for a business to break the regulations, 11:11 was not offering edibles without the owners there to make the decision and take the risk. So, Numazu, getting weed in Uruguay may not be as easy as you would expect in a country that has legalized production, trade, and use. I liked the atmosphere in 11:11. The coffee was not good, and neither was the alfajor I ordered, disappointed at the lack of loaded brownies. But the wifi was strong (apparently Uruguay has better wifi than Argentina), the music was great, and I loved the staff. Very young boys and girls, local cool hipsters, the oldest one was probably in his late 20s and was cross dressed with a long skirt and a long hair wig. No make up, and not recently shaved. Passed 3 pm, Will asked me to meet him at Sarandí to have lunch. We went to one of “La Pasiva” locations. La Pasiva is a chain of restaurants. Originally was a fast food Uruguayan chain, that has evolved into more standard restaurants serving hybrids between fast and regular food. You can get there amazing Uruguayan chivitos. I usually enjoy them in a sandwich, but this day we ordered them on a plate, no bread. It was my first time talking face to face to Will. He stroke me as smaller and shorter than I expected, but not less beautiful and charming. He was very thankful because I recommended him to Rhyeim, and he ended in the group of Brazilian guys he summoned during his trip to Rio and São Paulo. Everyone who participated in that event got huge bumps in their followings and talks with American and European studios. I find him not only adorable physically and politically, but super interesting. Nowadays, when it is a trend to talk about and analyze intersectionality, here we have a very special case for the Rio de la Plata. Will has not double or hidden life, he is who he is everywhere and with everyone. He is Black, Gay, Bottom, and a porn star, besides being a political activist, model, DJ, nurse, and student of Nutrition at college. We ate, went back to 11:11, set up my phone on a tripod and perform the interview right there, in our bad English. I hope it can be understood, I do not know when I will have time to work on it. Writing reports on my meetings with escorts is easier than editing and presenting an interview. Then Will escorted me back to the port to take my ferry. We hugged goodbye at 6:30 and it was already dark. The check in and boarding process was as easy in the Uruguayan side as it has been in Argentina. Soon I was on board and once again, I slept the whole trip. This one was a little bit shakier because of the strong winds, and we arrive 10 minutes after the schedule time. My old friend Ariel and his boyfriend were waiting for me. It is such a joy meeting him again after 20 years! We chatted for about 4 hours the day before, bt did not have enough and he wanted to introduce me to his man. We ate something not far away from Puerto Madero, and then walked up to Recoleta, as it was not as cold in Buenos Aires. At 2 am I was arriving home and falling dead in bed, exhausted. Today I had lunch with my mother and nephews, and then came to my base to prepare for “Angel”. We were still running our role play situation in our communications. I did not have sex in two days and I was horny. I am horny. When he was in his way, he sent me a very weird communication apologizing and saying that something had happened in his way, and had to go back, and mentioning something about an old lady in troubles. There was a weird back noise, and he seemed to be ready stressed. So I am concerned and without knowing what is going on, besides being horny. I tried to reach out to Douglas, but he is not responding. Grindr has been so far fruitless, many hits but not one worthy. So, I am writing. I wrote that last night. After writing I called one of the local apps for food delivery, and got some comfort food to comfort me for the lack of sex. At 1am, "Angel" called me. He had been caught in a drugs operative in his hostel. He was not in trouble, but the police retained him as a witness and was not freed until that late. I was relieved to know he was OK. Our role playing date was fucked up, but we will meet Friday night. Tonight, I will have my second meeting with Fran, probably my last one with a provider. I talked to Carlos Aleman this morning. He has decided to not make himself available for anyone, national or foreigner, and keep working only for the few regulars he is keeping. He is too expensive, and I am having very good sex for free, so I am not going to invest more o. him, but we will probably meet for a drink. Although he is retiring from Buenos Aires market, his plan right now is preparing an escorting tour to Europe (he does not think an American visa is at his reach). Right now I am at the condo that used to be my residency and is now my sister's. We are about to have luh with her, my twin nephews and my mother. In my way, I saw these prices that you may find interesting. These are offers from a fancy butchery in Recoleta, you can find much better prices in other places. Remember the prices are for Kilogram.2 points -
Day 7.5: Free At Last 1. Goodbye My Lover, Goodbye My Friend It has been a whirlwind 6-night stay with Tomas. We were both looking forward to this week together because (a) it was our first time together outside of his home state of Santa Catarina, his old state of Sao Paulo, and his adoptive state of Rio de Janeiro. Heading all the way out to the Northeast together was like turning a page, a new chapter, a chance to know for sure if this relationship was worth moving forward together. We were both giving up a few things to be together: me, the freedom of being single and changing the reason why I go to Brazil, and him, this week, giving up precious time away from work and his son to see if this relationship was worth it. And we took advantage of the week together by matando duvidas, or killing doubt (direct translation) with each other. I had my doubts about him, about him being bisexual and not having had a serious relationship with a man before, about his Garoto de Programa past, about his intentions with me, about my insecurities with him – the biggest one is the amount of attention he usually gets whenever we go out in public together. I can never get used to people, men or women, staring at him. He is quite attractive, and when we are in a club or even the beach together, he attracts attention. He has doubts with me too: about my numerous “boyfriends” scattered around South America, about my life back in California, about my inability to commit, about my fondness for pretty boys. He gets insanely jealous of just the smallest of things: like when he notices I am online on Whatsapp too long he wonders who I am speaking to; he is also afraid to cold call me on a Saturday night, because he is afraid to find out that I am with another guy. His insecurities with me seem to dwarf my insecurities with him. And he has a reason. I like sleeping around. And he doubts that I will stick around to be with him for the long haul, especially if I am in a country, his country, full of beautiful men. But we talked it out, usually cuddling together in the AirBNB's comfy couch, throughout the week. And we are still together, and this week in Recife helped us tremendously in figuring out the reasons why we are together. It is hard enough to be in a relationship, any relationship, but being in a long distance one just ups the difficulty. And never mind the fact that we are from different cultures, nationalities, backgrounds, life experiences, and economic statuses. BUT, I am reminded of the quote by President Teddy Roosevelt, himself quite a hottie when he was younger: Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, and difficulty. In the entirety of our relationship, we have been apart more hours than we have been together, but it seems worth it somehow, worth more than the doubt, the insecurities, and the distance between us. Tomas once told me that he eventually wants to be rich. I asked him how he intends to earn a lot of money. By getting a good job? By winning the lottery? By marrying a rich American? He shook his head. “That’s just money. Money does not matter at the end of the day,” he says. His definition of rich was a person who, after wrestling with the world at work during the day, had a house and a person he loves, to come home to at the end of the day, to make going through all that nonsense worthwhile. For Tomas, having a roof over one’s head, a delicious meal, and a person who loves you and you love, is what makes one rich. “I hope to strike it rich someday,” he smiles, while saying this, and then kisses my forehead. Maybe I’ve hit the jackpot. Have I gone soft? Well, not quite yet. 2. The Heat is On So after this very intense and emotional week, do I even have anything left for sexy shenanigans? I dropped off Tomas at the airport at 4:30 PM, and I was alone again, for the second time, in Recife. This time though, everything seemed to have changed. Do I even want to check out the sauna now? I’ve already had sex twice today, as Tomas and I had to make our last day together count. My flight to Fortaleza was at 2:30 AM later tonight. Maybe I should just take a nap so I get to Fortaleza refreshed? I hemmed and hawed my way through the evening, not sure of what to do. I did my last AirBNB cleaning, and then fixed myself dinner. It seemed like I was not going to be able to get the motivation to check out the sauna. At 7:00 PM I decided to read BoyToy’s Recife entries. @pauleiro's trip report was pretty informative, and his summary of the Recife saunas got me motivated: Alright, maybe I should check out at least Termas Boa Vista. That seemed to be the sauna to go to, if I had only one shot at this. Looking at their Facebook yielded this announcement. On a Friday, they had a show that started at 10 PM, and they had a happy hour at 9 PM: I took a shower, and 10 minutes later I was in an Uber to Santo Amaro, where the sauna was. It was a bit of a trek from Boa Viagem to Santo Amaro (25 minutes), and involved going over 2 bridges, but in a flash, I was there. I was unsure if I was in the correct place, but I checked the address and indeed, I have arrived: There was a security guard at the door, and after he assessed that I was, truly, there with good intentions, he buzzed me in. The receptionist was pretty jaded with everything. He gave me a key, a towel, slippers, and waved me off. The locker rooms were the next stop, and I found my locker pretty quickly: I never want to be wearing just a towel in saunas. But I was unsure if this sauna allowed patrons to be in street clothes while at the premises, or if everyone was required to be in a towel. Both Rio saunas, and Lagoa in Sao Paulo, as well as the two main saunas in Salvador, and Mezzaninu in Porto Alegre, allowed for patrons to be in street clothes, but Sauna Olimpo in Belo Horizonte did not. I saw a lot of patrons milling around, and they were all in towels, so to be safe, I changed into a towel as well, and kept my undies on underneath. I left my wallet with money and my house keys in the locker. I took my cellphone with me. As I did all this, a really hot GP was there in the locker room area with me. He was just standing there, wearing boxer briefs, with a huge bulge serving as his best advertisement. He caught me looking, and he smiled, revealing perfect teeth. He had an interesting look: He was a mix for sure (aren’t they all), but ofwhat, I don’t know. He was super tan, but had a tall Italian nose and green eyes, and some freckles on his face. The total effect looked very northeastern. And his body was perfect for me: not too worked out, but abs and powerful thighs that showed athleticism made outside the gym. But I remember the number one advice here on BoyToy: don’t fall in love with the first guy you see in the sauna. As I passed him by, I put a hand on his arm to acknowledge that, yes, I found him hot. He quickly guided that hand to his crotch. I got a nice handful of his money maker. I smiled at him, and made my way into the main sauna, leaving him on his perch. My initial impression of the sauna was great. It looked new, clean, and spacious. Maybe too spacious, as it made the place seem deserted. It reminded me of Mezzaninu in PA. Big and deserted. Lots of shower and toilet facilities. A long corrider that led to an internet café and some lounge facilities. I noticed the crowd. Again, it had the Mazzaninu vibe. Who were the clients and who were the boys? It was hard to tell who was who at first. And no obvious stunners so far. The upper floor had more seating. I saw a bar area. I bought a beer and sat down in one of the tables, and noticed the crowd in front of me. Looks like most of the patrons knew each other, and they seem to be a lively crowd. The place to be on a Friday night. After my eyes adjusted I was able to discern the boys from the clients. Again, the boys weren’t obvious stunners. Earlier, I asked Tomas about the saunas here, since he used to work in one of them, a long time ago. He said that I would be disappointed. It was not like the Rio saunas. The boys won’t be the same quality. And being here now, it was true, they weren’t for sure. Maybe a tier below Salvador, and just where Porto Alegre was. Some were handsome but the body wasn’t there. Some had abs but the face wasn’t there for me. I tried my best to settle on one, since I have been in Brazil for 7 days already this trip, and have not yet been able to pay for sex (and this is so unlike me). I bought another beer. A fellow client started talking to me. Still no boy for me. I was going to get another beer when the boy from earlier appeared. He stood across from me, leaning against the far wall, fluffing himself. He was still available. I was surprised he has not been snapped up yet. I wasted no time. I guess there is a thing called lust at first sight. I wave at him to come. He shakes my hand and sits with me. His sauna name was Paulo. From Recife. Played football for a league in the city. After a few more pleasantries I look at the time. It was 8:30 PM. 6 hours before my flight. Still plenty of time but it is probably wise to not waste any more time. How much? 100 reals. “Let’s get a suite,” I tell him. Always a suite. We both head down to reception, and the jaded receptionist screams at both of us “just one hour!” Fine fine. I’ll be done in 30 minutes. Paulo takes my hand and guides me to the suite which was on the upper floor. I see a sea of clients gauge me and my boy as we pass by. That’s right bitches, I’m doing a programa. We get to the suite and it was clean and pleasant: There was no bathroom per se, just a double shower head stall with glass doors, and no toilet and sink, in the room. “I need to pee and there is no toilet,” I tell Paulo. “You can just pee in the shower,” he says, laughingly. After I drain tonight’s beer and wash it down by turning on the shower, I join Paulo on the thankfully soft bed. He was already naked, and hard, and ready. We make out and caress each other’s bodies. He reached for my dick, which was by then hard, but I told him not yet. I wanted to take it slow. We talked for a bit, with kissing intermissions. He was a nice guy. His northeastern accent was pretty clear and not too hard to understand. After a while the main event was too hard to ignore. He was pretty successful in turning me on. I could just lay there with him all night, talking, with hard ons, and be happy with the programa. The suite had large mirrors on the wall, so I could see the full length of his body. He had a tan line where his tiny speedo would be. So hot. His legs were tree trunks, a sure sign of a footballer’s build. The rest of him was just perfect. And of course, his cock. So stereotypically Brazilian: fat and long. And his ass, plump and tasted great. There was no denying what would come next. He took his time with that too. We both came. I looked at the time. Holy shit it was 9:35. We exceeded that bitchy queen’s hour by 5 minutes. After kissing one last time, we shower and get presentable. As we headed back down, he goes to reception to return the room key, and I go to the locker to fish out 150 reals. The extra 50 reals was well-deserved. He hugs me for thanks. He asked me what I was doing next. I told him I was just gonna hang out to see if there were more boys I could do a programa with. He invited me back upstairs to hangout. He said it was happy hour from 9PM to 10PM, so there were free beers. There was also the show with drag queens. He gets me my free beer and we watch the show for a bit. Not my thing. No strippers even. Boo. We leave the stage area to sit down. Another round of free beers. “Where are you staying?” he asks. “At an apartment in Boa Viagem.” “I live in Boa Viagem too. Sometimes we play football at the beach.” I have seen nighttime football at the beach on my nighttime walks with Tomas. “What are you doing tomorrow?” Paulo asks. I lied: “Nothing planned so far.” I didn’t tell him that my flight to Fortaleza was 4 and a half hours away. “You should go by the house tomorrow. My mom is cooking lunch because my brother is visiting. We can have lunch there, as friends of course. And then we can hang out after and go to your place if you want.” That sounded really good. But alas I couldn’t come of course, but I told him “maybe!”. I asked for his Whatsapp just in case (lol). I asked about his plans tomorrow. He said he just had a football match later that day at 6 PM, and after that he was just going to the sauna. But he said we can hang out before the match. I asked how much he was going to charge me. He said we were just hanging out and he didn’t need to charge. He only charges in the sauna. Besides, he said, “friends are more important than money.” OK, it may be just a line he uses with every client, because of course money is very important, but it doesn’t matter I guess, because I was not staying long enough to find out if it was just a line or not. He asked for my Facebook too. I gave it to him and pretty soon I got a friend request. I never accepted it. I stayed for another hour, with Paulo by my side. I tried to find a second boy for a programa, but no one was clicking with me. More twinks than bulls. Paulo was a good combination of both. He was also very attentive. Telling me about the sauna, about the boys, about his life. It was almost 10:30 PM. We sat by the TV, on the couch. We started making out. Pretty soon he was hard again. I, of course, was as well. He led me to a corridor that was at by the other end of the long couch. It was where the free cabinas were. We went into one. We continued making out. “Wait, am I paying you again?” I ask. “I don't care. Let’s just do this.” He says, whipping out his cock. I push him on the bed. I put his legs on my shoulder. I put it in. He jacks off his huge dick. After some thrusts, he pulls out my dick, sits up, pulls my head towards his groin and shoves his cock in my mouth and cums. He was really wanting to cum again. “No clean up this way,” he says as he drains himself in my mouth. I was not complaining. That was unexpected. But good. He cleans up and meets up with me at the lockers as I put on my clothes. It was time to go. I give him 60 reals for the extra session. He kisses me and bids me farewell. He was going to meet up with friends who were nearby. “See you tomorrow, OK?” he says. I give him a thumbs up. I was not going to be able to see him. A pity. I head back to the bitchy receptionist to settle my bill. Apparently the cashiers were on the other side of reception, so I go back in and head out the other way. I am so bad with remembering things, but thank goodness for credit card statements: The entrance fee, the suite for one hour, and two beers all cost $22.52. Not bad for what was 3 hour stay. Plus the additional two cans of happy hour beer. Not a bad sauna going experience for sure. Recife is not done with me yet, next…2 points

If you plan to do more than sightseeing, Tokyo has at least 200 gay bars in the Shinjuku ni-chome district. But only a few of these will welcome foreigners. So do research beforehand. Check sites like https://www.travelgayasia.com/tokyo-gay-bars/ If you are into saunas, there is an excellent 24 Kaikan Sauna in the ni-chome district. There is an etiquette to sauna going in Japan. Let us know if this is where you choose and I can amplify. Shinjuku station is one of the busiest in the world and has seeming miles of underground shopping. Great for getting to ni-chome if its raining. Walk to Exit C8 a the BYGS Building. The bars are just around the corner, as are at least two of the escort host bars. Just dont expect much English to be spoken at the latter. There are also escort host bars where you can book the boy of your dreams online to come to your hotel. This can save a lot of time and trouble. This is Japan and so expect them to turn up on the dot. But one hour of fun will mean precisely that. Not a minute more. The great thing is that the websites give precise detail of every guy on their books, their age and stats and icons showing what they will or will not do when they are in your room. A page of one site is illustrated below. Last recommendation is get a good bilingual map. English is commonly used on signs but it is not universally spoken.2 points

SP & Rio Apr 2020

This isn’t foolproof. When I have booked through AirBnB recently in Ipanema and Copa near Ipanema Beach, I encountered quite a few listings that restricted visitors. Of course, I did not stay at any of those places! The best advice is to, before booking: (1) review the house rules of each rental, and (2) contact the host to confirm the visitor policy. My personal policy is that if the visitor policy is not liberal enough for me, I won’t book.1 point -
Some of the boys from GEH The pics below show boys who are performing or were performing in GEH in Bogota. Of course not all boys are in the pictures since some boys do not want to have their picture taken. The boys inside the blue circle are the two who were the tops during the live sex shows I saw.1 point

Lagoa is scheduled to reopen December 1st in a new location not in the same neighborhood where it is now! but things change so just check prior to leaving for SP! Again look thru Airbnb listing in the price range and style you like. There are two individual homes i use in SP. both great neighborhoods one has 3bed/3baths the other 2, i found them in Airbnb 2 years ago...and no i i am not giving out the info on them! did that once in Rio a couple years ago and couldn’t get the place when i wanted it because someone on this site had already booked it! so you are on your own!1 point

Lagoa will not be where it is now by the time you get there!" they are closing(lost there 20 yr. + Lease) December 1st. i think you will have more of a problem then you think bringing grindr hookups to high end Rio hotels...IMHO! that’s why over the years many of us long term Rio Travelers choose airbnb and prior to 2010 stayed at lower rated hotels.1 point

Inappropriate Use of Cameras
vinapu reacted to ChristianPFC for a topic
I don't remember such an incident. Someone on the long gone bitchboard (good riddance!) posted a picture of me. About two years ago I had several boys who wanted to take pictures or video of me, or us, or him, during activities, which I mostly rejected. And if such question comes up again, a clear NO. The problem is secretly taking pictures or videos. Some boys like to play on their phone before and after sex (some would even during sex), and I haven't found a way to curb that. Best would be to put my phone on a table out of reach from the bed, and to tell the boy to do the same. And dim the light. Most cameras perform poorly in low light. I like to have some light during sex.1 point -
Well, I never had much respect for Marcom people either. I think PR has more in common with lawyers. You work with facts and truth. You tell your client's story the best way you can, but you don't make shit up. Marcom people frequently make shit up, then fall in love with their own shit despite the evidence that it IS shit. I quit my last gig when they made me work for Marcom. I swear I might have punched her in the face if I had to hear her say we needed to "lean in" one more time.1 point

Yeah I went from 6 to 13 pretty quickly. Part of me feels that I am there so much, I should probably just live there. But all I did really was I cut down on the Colombia (and other trips) and just go to Brazil whenever I can. In fact I am preparing for another trip pretty soon. I can't report on all of my trips, but I write when I can. Thanks! And thanks also to the peeps who sent me private messages. No, you won't interrupt the flow of the report if you replied on here instead. Feedback is always welcome, good or bad lol. This is a great tip! Almost every Rio and SP subway station has a Banco 24 Horas. For unfamiliar cities, however, like Recife was for me, getting money right away at the airport sure saved me a lot of time looking for a Banco 24 Horas in the city. In Recife, there was also one close to Praca do Boa Viagem, and of course in Shopping Recife. Thanks @TotallyOz! And thank YOU for giving us a venue to talk about our trips! And maybe someday, you will actually be inside my stories! Hope to see you soon... Awesome! THat's what I love about Brazilians (and Colombians). They are usually hyper sexual and super sexy as well. Please do consider making your first trip to Brazil. And don't forget to share your experiences here! Right now I am preparing for ANOTHER trip. I'm hoping to wrap up this report soon, and maybe start a new one on the trip coming up... maybe lol1 point

Andy Cohen treated me like a dog.
AdamSmith reacted to RockHardNYC for a topic
LOL. I have been asked on numerous occasions if I wanted to meet Andy Cohen. Unfortunately, we are in the same room at certain show biz events. Every time I've been asked, I politely decline the offer. In public, I can't express my disdain for a fellow man in show business. It's not how I conduct business. That is why I love boards like these. I need to vent and speak freely. Amazingly, even though we are in the same room sometimes, I have never rubbed elbows with Cohen (that I know of). I am so grateful, too, because I have a difficult time hiding my true feelings in my facial expression. I pity the poor guy if I ever make eye contact with him.1 point -

We're not getting any younger so preference should indeed be the primary driver of decisions like this. A friend from home recently asked me why I traveled far and so frequently to Bangkok. "Doesn't that cost you a lot of money in your retirement?" "It does," I replied. "I can do it now or I suppose that I could wait until I'm 80 to do what I want."1 point

Thai English - favourite Tinglish words and expressions
ChristianPFC reacted to mahjongguy for a topic
My Thai friend speaks English well enough to have moved beyond the sort of Thai-based constructions mentioned above. But he just cannot pronounce the letter V. I've tried to convince him that there are simple methods to learn consonants that don't occur in Thai (e.g. put your upper teeth on your lower lip...) but as is often the case he just doesn't believe me. So I get wacation and wery and wisa. And Wolwo. Ten years ago I told him if he could say Volvo I'd buy him one. We're still driving the same old Honda.1 point -

Days 2-7: The Honeymoon in Recife Part 2 – Odds and Ends, and the Pursuit of Maconha Some other Recife-related stuff that happened during the week: 1. Exercise Against My Will Tomas is a fitness junkie. He plays soccer, and is big on jiu-jitsu, and goes to the gym almost everyday. Ever since I’ve known him, whenever I am with him, he has inspired (forced?) me exercise with him, twice or three times in a week. Because of this I usually get an AirBNB with a gym in it. Tomas would act as my personal trainer, which he does at time in his gym in Santa Catarina on occasion. Which means, even on my vacations with him, he likes stopping by the gym, even only for 30 minutes, or go out for a jog or a brisk walk. And he usually brings me along, kicking and screaming, to his sessions. This vacation was no different. Days 3, 5 and 6 were exercise days. It would start with a light jog from the apartment to the beach. Once we were warmed up, we would use the “monkey bars” and other exercise equipment that were scattered in the sidewalks of Boa Viagem along the beach. We would take turns handling the bars and push ups and others things. But of course, in worse shape than Tomas, I would run out of steam before he did. It was a fun activity to do together, and I have to admit it has helped with bedroom activities as well (his body is swole from it, I have more energy, both our bodies are lose and warm after), but at the back of my head, I’d rather be using this 45 or so minutes to be lounging in the beach, drinking caipirinhas, and relaxing. It’s like eating vegetables: I know I should be having more of it, but it is not fun doing it. Once I teasingly asked him why he wanted this magnificent body even if he was retired as a GP. He was serious with his reply: he was doing it for two reasons - he was (1) doing it for himself because he liked seeing a fit body in front of the mirror, and (2) he was doing it for me. It was his impression that it was very important for me for him to have a great body, and once he let himself go, I would dump him. I admitted to him that of course I was initially attracted to him because he was this stone cold fox, but what is keeping me with him goes beyond the physical. I dare not ask what drew him to me, lest I already knew (money? a green card? most probably. I am not sure). 2. Getting Marked That last tattoo I got was over 10 years ago. I got it with an ex-boyfriend on a whim. That relationship lasted 3 months after that. The tattoo, obviously, is still with me. I have no regrets getting the tattoo though, and have been longing to get another one since then. The last Rio trip with Tomas we decided to get tattoos in Recife, since he thought getting it in Rio would be needlessly expensive. Before leaving, I downloaded some “templates” of the tattoo on my phone so I can show it to the tattoo place. On Day 5 it was overcast outside, and not prime beachgoing weather, so we decided that today was the day to get the tattoo. From what Tomas remembered, there were some tattoo places close to Praca de Boa Viagem, so we Uber it there. We get there and start walking and looking for the tattoo shops. We get to the area where there were a lot of restaurants and a big gas station. At the corner we saw a sign for the tattoo shop “Art Sapiens Tattoo”. We find the store front and got led to the second floor: The place looked pretty professional. The tattoo artist greeted us and after introductions we got down to tattoo designs. I sent him my templates and explained to him where I wanted it. He put the template in his computer, and with some trial and error, he was able to print out a life-size drawing of the tattoo and draped it across the body part I wanted it on. He did the same for Tomas. He charged by the square centimeter, and my tattoo worked up to be 300 reals, and Tomas’ was 900 reals. Tomas told me before this that he was going to pay for his tattoo. He balked at the price. He thought 900 reals was a little too expensive for what he was willing to pay. I offered to pay for it, but after thinking about it, he said no. He said the tattoo was for him and he didn’t want me to pay for it, and it looked like we would be at the tattoo shop for a while because his tattoo design was too big and was going to be laborious and time-consuming, and was going to cut into our time together. I still wanted to get mine though. And we were in luck because the tattoo artist had a free lunch hour to work on mine. The whole process was pretty quick and relatively painless. My initial trepidations of a painful tattoo experience were unfounded. The artist was done in an hour, and the results were stunning. Tomas was patient throughout the process. He waited with me in the tattoo room and kept me company. After the procedure, the artist gave me tips on how to take care of the tattoo in the next few weeks. One drawback, I could not expose the tattoo wound to the sun for the next few weeks, so I had to beach with the tattoo covered for the rest of the week. Tomas was attentive with taking care of the tattoo, too. During sex after the tattoo he was careful to not disturb the tattoo area, and reminded me to put moisturizer and to wash it regularly. Thank goodness it did not affect our performance in bed. 3. Art is for Lovers As a couple in a new relationship, apart from beach going, bar hopping and evenings at home cooking food (him) and eating food (me) and watching TV just like an old married couple, we have not done a lot of other stuff as a couple. We were in luck: an art festival was happening this week in Recife: The Fenearte 2019, an art and handicrafts festival that was here for 2 weeks at the convention center in Olinda. I thought this was just another outdoor market selling trinkets and crafts, but upon arriving at the convention center (which was 30 minutes from Boa Viagem, and closer to one of the saunas here), I was impressed. It was pretty sophisticated and organized. An entrance fee of 25 reals was trivial. We were treated with an exhibition of local arts and crafts that not only was from the Northeast, but also from all around Brazil: I didn’t know if Tomas was the art-viewing kind, but he had a lot of fun looking at all the artifacts. He took a lot of photos for his Whatsapp and Instagram statuses. He even video called his son to show him a few toys he thought his son would like. We bought a few trinkets and souvenirs, and a flute for his son. It was a perfect way to spend Day 6 night, our last night together in Recife. 4. The Quest for Maconha If Tomas ever had a flaw (and I don’t think it is really a flaw), is that he was obssesed with maconha, or marijuana. He admitted he was the biggest maconhero he knew ever. In his GP days, he was addicted to all kinds of drugs. He got rid of all that, but maconha remained. He said it helped him relax, and helped him sleep. When I first hung out with him in Rio, and then in Santa Catarina, he knew where to get the illegal drug, since the surroundings were familiar to him. But we were in Recife, and we were both tourists, so he did not know where to get the stuff. He was able to smuggle a block of maconha in his underwear (under his balls) on the plane to Recife. But after two days he ran out, and needed a refill. So we had to figure out how to get it. He assured me that I didn’t have to pay for his maconha, since it was his vice. He didn’t want me to spend too much money on anything else trivial. I was already paying for his plane tickets, the apartment, food, and entertainment, he said. He can’t have me spend more money on his follies, which I appreciated, but I assured him that I could help if needed. We found out though, that it was not easy to get maconha as a tourist in Brazil, if you didn’t know anyone in the city. Usage here is prevalent, but it was still illegal in Brazil. So we had to resort to these unnecessary and time-consuming manuevers: a. The easy way – pay a young guy some money to get it for you. Pro: let someone do the dirty work. Con: It can get expensive. Tomas said that it is usually the young guys who knew where to buy the stuff. We asked one of the younger employees (who was good looking) of the kiosk we frequented at the beach, if he could help us in getting the maconha. Two hours later, we got the merchandise delivered to us in a Coca Cola can, where the young guy hid the stuff, as he put the Coke can in our beer cooler in an effort to be subtle. But it cost Tomas 100 reals. 50 reals for the stuff, and 50 reals fee for the young guy. It was super expensive, he said, for a 2 day supply. He never asked that young guy again to help him out with procuring maconha. b. The hard way – go directly to the source (favela) and buy it. Pro: it is cheaper to go to the source. Con: it can get dangerous in a favela. He asked around at the beach from beach-goers who were smoking the stuff, where to go get marijuana for himself. They advised him to go to a favela close to Shopping Recife, the shopping mall close to our apartment. We Ubered it to the mall and went towards the parking lot in the back that lead to the favela. I remembered the warnings I have been given about favelas, to never go into one. But I did, with my security guard Tomas, even if I was nervous. After 20 minutes of looking around and going through alleyways and lots of asking around, eventually we figured out where to get it, and it only cost him 30 reals for the same amount of stuff shown above. This seemed to be a lot of work to get maconha. But you have to realize that the stuff acted like Viagra to Tomas. He was always horny (and got so hard) after he smoked the stuff. So it was a part of our life together. Next up, wrapping up the honeymoon, and finally, a trip to the sauna…1 point

Gigolo Erotic House Arrived around 10 pm. Around 15+ boys, some of them are the ones I met in sauna (Henrique, Jose). Some are really cute. I am in instant love with Camilo who danced in front of me. Sexy defined smooth body. Nice face and smile. Unfortunately after his show he stops at a table and starts chatting with the 3 men sitting at table. After the eye contact we had during the show, I was pretty sure he was going to come straight to me. A customer (he has a wrist band) is looking much more like a boy than a typical customer. He is wearing trousers which are 2 sizes below what he should wear and the shape of his thock cock is clearly visible. After some time he comes close to me. I start chatting with me. Of course he is escorting and is even willing to take me behind the curtain. I decline his invitation because it would bot be fair to use one of the 2 cabins for customers and sole of the boys are much hotter than him. GEH did improve the lapdance areas. It used to be almost transparent curtains. It is now strong fabrics curtains which give you sufficient intimacy to do all what has being agreed with the boy. Personnally, I do not care bit I can ilagin that some persons could be shy behind the previous curtains. Finally Camilo comes around me and I grab him for a dance. Nice body. Nice dick. Nice ass. Nice time. I would love to discover Camilo s nody in a motel. But he says he is not passive and even though he is virgin, he is ready to start with me. True or not I will never know because I will not have time to meet him after the show. Brayan is another cute and sexy guy I took behind the curtain. He is from wvenezuela and sexy as hell. I took him just after the live sex show and I was already pretty excited. Live sex show was really hot and sexy. A bottom came on stage and was pounded in various positions along the stage by Jose. Live sex show was at 1.30 am. In addition of this sex show there had being groups of 5 strippers on stage and 3 or 4 times a single stripper coming on stage with a hard on Great place to go to. Prices of lapdances are 50000 COP. 80000 COP to wank you and 100000 COP for fucking. 10 to 15 minutes sessions.1 point

Money boy doesn't want money

I’ve experienced what seems like laziness from Thai boys. The walk from Sunee to BT is to me a trivial distance even though it’s not a pleasant walk in the evening and so is the walk from the Jomtien Complex to the gay beach. Yet suggesting that we accomplish these small distances on foot has sometimes produced protests and requests for motor cycle taxis. when I first discovered Pattaya, 20 years ago, I was into distance running and had completed a number of marathons and I was determined to maintain my running during my 3/4 week trips in Pattaya. The ideal time for this is at daybreak when it’s cooler and there is far less traffic. One time I woke up in the Ambiance at about 6 am next to my quasi boyfriend and announced to him that I was going for a run and required to be let in the room on my return. This was incomprehensible to him as was my boast on return that I had run to the north end of Beach Road and then to Jomtien and back. He found this achievement something ackin to the ascent of Everest although he did not describe it as such (the majority of Thais have no idea of world geography). I suggest that next morning he could come with me as he was 20 years old and looked very fit. I recall he ridiculed the idea and said it would be better to take a baht bus or motor bike. This attitude show in the complete lack of success for Thailand in the Olympic Games athletics competitions. On the other hand Thais are as a nation relatively slim which has a lot to do with their traditional diet and for many hard physical work in the rice fields.1 point -
Days 2-7: The Honeymoon in Recife Part 1 – The Outdoors 1. The Beaches The first ever beach I’ve ever been to in Brazil has been the Rio de Janeiro – Zona Sul beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana. For me, they have been the standard of Brazil beaches that I've measured all the other Brazil beaches, because, duh, it is Rio de Janeiro, the tourist paradise, but also because the beaches in RJ is usually a perfect mix of things I find appealing in a beach-going experience: fine sand, clean water, presence of services (chairs, food, others) and hot boy watching. And yes, like everywhere else, it has a lot of not so good things going for it as well: too many people hawking things (from sunglasses to drugs), it can get quite expensive (the food, the chairs, the drinks), and at certain times, it gets crowded. But it is still the standard that I look for in the other Brazilian beaches I go. I’ve seen some so far: from the good (there are a lot: RJ - Arrail do Cabo and perihery, SC – Balneario Camboriu and Floripa, Bahia: Salvador – Barra and Ondina, Natal – Ponta Negra, SP - Guaruja), the bad (Sao Paulo – Santos and Sao Vicente) and the ugly (none yet, thank goodness). The Recife beach in the Boa Viagem nexus of beaches can be thought of as one of the good ones. And surprisingly, in many respects, it is superior to the RJ beaches: the sand is prettier, water cleaner and warmer, services are plentiful and cheaper, and hot boys aplenty as well. The last part is important of course. The morning after Tomas arrived, we wasted no time checking out the beaches. OK maybe we did waste some a little bit: we had to take care of morning wood. After that essential morning ritual, Tomas brewed us coffee and made cheese sandwiches for café da manha, and showering together (to save water, of course lol), we applied sunblock, wore our swimsuits under our bermudas and regatas, and we were on our way to the beach. AirBNB Point of improvement: the apartment is great, but it was not exactly by the beach. It was a nice 15 -20 minute walk to the beach, so it wasn’t too bad and perfect for a morning stroll to the beach, but this was the Northeast, and the winter sun would bake everyone eventually in the afternoon. And after a busy and somewhat tiring day in the beach, at times, a walk back to the apartment in the blaring sun wasn’t exactly a welcome proposition. Once there though, the sidewalk was filled with activity. Even some rainbow flags in some of the kiosks: The beach ambiance: perfect. Boa Viagem was superior to Rio Zona Sul because the beach chairs and sun umbrella were free. We chose a barraca (kiosk) which turned out to be super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. It was also situated near a public restroom, in case you didn't want to go peepee in the ocean, and unlike Rio, the bathrooms are free (another plus). One marked difference with Recife beaches compared to RJ, a bag for trash was automatically always provided with every umbrella. It is probably why the beaches are so clean: The food: the revelation for the week was the street food readily available in Recife. We didn’t bother with going to restaurants and just munched on street food and home cooking. The favorite for me were the Caldinhos: a type of small portion soup with all kinds of goodies in the thick broth. Tomas thought it would be something I’d like, because there were a lot of things in it (may have either: fried pork skin, seafood, quail eggs, chicken, corn, etc, you name it), they were bite sized portions that can be consumed quickly without needing table to eat it, and the flavors were strong. He also thought that I can handle the soup’s contents because of my strong stomach by virtue of me being a frequent traveler, and the things in these soups may or may not be clean enough to be handled by more sensitive constitutions. They were always 5 reals, and sometimes the vendors can themselves be flavorful bitefuls as well: Caldinho de Feijao – black beans broth and pork With shrimp: With chicken's head meat: The men: boy watching at the beach did not dissapoint. There were a couple of boys and vendors who looked good, and some beach-goers were eye-candy, but the main attraction were the surfers. On windier, more turbulent wave days, you’d see kids, teens, and adults try their skills on the waves. A bunch of teenagers were trying to surf in front of us: IMG_2394.TRIM.mp4 The teenagers were interesting. They usually surfed earlier in the day. And then they would disappear and an hour later they would appear, all nice looking and smelling nice wearing perfume, selling brigadeiros. Tomas bought me some brigadeiros from the wolf pack, and he commented that they smelled nice. I wonder what their deal was. If I was alone/single I’d be bold enough to ask if they were available. Which I was guessing they were. There was also this hottie who was trying to catch waves close to us: IMG_2407.TRIM.mp4 I was so beguiled by this surfer, that it came to a point that Tomas made snide remarks about my infatuation. Maybe I was staring too much. Don’t blame me, after all, he was hot. But it did affect us later, when arriving home after that beach day we decided to get frisky. After he came, I tried to cum but couldn’t, so while Tomas was jacking me off, I closed my eyes and fantasized about the surfer. Tomas snapped his fingers in front of my face and said that I should be focusing on him and not the “surfista” in my head. I laughed out loud, he did have a point, and he knew me so well. I sat up and made out with him as I jacked myself off. 30 seconds later I came all over his stomach. Love the one you’re with. But after that, the whole week, he would continue to tease me about the hot surfista. I showed my hand on that one. 2. The Pracinha Tomas used to live in Recife, for a year in his early 20s. Rio was getting on his nerves at that point, and lamented the presence of lots of competition in the Rio saunas, so he wanted out. He had a friend in Recife who extolled the virtues of beach living in Boa Viagem, as a more tranquil alternative to the more stressful RJ beach life, so with just the clothes on his back he took the multi-day bus ride(s) from Rio to Recife. He worked as a Garoto de Programa there and spent most of the days in the beach in Boa Viagem. He lived close to the Praca de Boa Viagem, a sort of town square in the southern end of Boa Viagem. So this was sort of a homecoming for him, and all the good memories of his wild 20s were coming back. He remembered being so happy here, with everything and everyone being so chill and fun. One of the places he went to almost every night was that park, a place to have a cheap dinner of just street food and sometimes listen to live music that would be there in the weekends. He said winter, though more tolerable than summers in terms of being outside, was less busy because there were less tourists in general. And it showed with our walk from the apartment to the park: Once we got there though, it was a lively scene. We decided to have dinner there on our second night, and other nights when he didn’t want to cook at the house. Some of the local street food that I tried: Tapioca with some beef and cheese filling (yummy yummy yummy – 8 reals): Some sugarcane juice to wash it down (very Nordeste – 5 reals): Acaraje, which is this weird heady mix of black eyed peas, ground shrimp and onions, and a variety of toppings that were super flavorful (very Nordeste – 10 reals): And a kiosk that had the weirdest collection of cakes: We tried several varieties of chocolate cakes and mousses. All 8 reals. As you can see, a good giant meal is less than 25 reals total. We never had to step into a restaurant, and why would we if the food was this good. The other side of the park had kiosks full of handicrafts and souvenirs. We bought each other matching t-shirts that said Recife in it. He insisted on matching ones so if we wear them separately we would be reminded of this amazing holiday. Thinking ahead already. We also bought trinkets, and he bought some religious idols for his grandmother and mother. Overall this was a shoppers paradise: So the week consisted of going to the beach during the day, and hanging out the park at night, with some evening strolls by the beach as well. He was showing me his Recife, and he showed me his favorite things to do in this fabulous city. I had to throw away the guidebook on this one, and just relied on his version of Recife as my intro to the city. Sure, I missed a lot of sites: the old city Recife Antigo, Olinda, Porto de Galinhas and other breathtaking sites, but it hardly mattered in the week with the boyfriend. And of course, I had to save time for the indoor activities, next… IMG_2394.TRIM.mp4 IMG_2407.TRIM.mp41 point

Argentina and Rio de Janeiro July 2019
brockmiller reacted to Latbear4blk for a topic
July 20th is Friends’ Day in Argentina. Día del Amigo is very important for the locals as the friendship institution is very strong in Argentina. All restaurants, bars, and businesses in general are offering special promotions to lure people to celebrate with their services/products. I am having diner tonight with my best friends. They are all middle class intellectuals and artists, and as good porteños quite snob. They were planning a sushi party, but I vetoed the idea. I asked for choripanes and empanadas and, of course, was rejected. We will have a Middle Eastern menu, with I prefer rather than Asian food. Yesterday I had my first “meh” sex experience since I arrived to Buenos Aires. I hired Luciano, and it was just a satisfactory service. It was not his fault, he is a recommendable provider, but he looks in person much more twinkish than in his ad pictures. He is not as athletic shaped as I thought he was. If you are into skinny twinks, you would have a great time with him. His fee was only $AR 1,800. This “meh” experience has made me think of changing my plans. Instead of trying one more new boy, I think I am going to start repeating those I already know are great matches for me. I will see again Carlos Aleman. During our last meeting he opened up and shared everything he is going through as a Venezuelan in the diaspora, trying to help his family fleeing from Caracas, trying to make a living alone in Buenos Aires as an immigrant. We chatted for 3 hours, he seems not to have anyone to share with the depth he did with me. After chatting, we had a ferocious session of smoking hot sex. This boy is another of my exceptional findings, side by side with Italo Andrade. Perhaps one pinch below Italo. He is still servicing a few regulars and has a European sugar daddy who visits Buenos Aires now and then, and had decided to retire from the business, pulling down all his ads and not taking any more calls from other clients. However, he called me last night and we may find a way to make him available for visitors who are willing to pay more than the local clients. He is an emotional mess right now, this is a developing story. I will see again Fran. This boy was excellent, and brings the plus on being an Argentinean iconic character, the hot “chonguito de barrio”. His accent and the way he speaks are an automatic turn on. And I was not expecting him to be such a passionate power bottom. Finally, I may try again Douglas, the Carioca I met last year. I have not yet contacted him, but I am almost sure I will. Definitively, I will focus more in my Grindr hook ups. It is working really good. I saw “Y” a second hot time, and I had another guy who was OK, although not good enough for a repeat. Last night I went to Km 0. It is the only gay bar/disco that is open everyday. They just opened another location in Palermo, that opens earlier and has a kitchen besides the bar, so you can eat there pizza and empanadas. I arrived at 1:15 and the show was already started. The main figures were two drag queens, backed by three male dancers. I did not see stripers, at least not during the time I was there. I strongly recommend any foreigners to stop by and try to enjoy the show. It is not the conventional lip singing drag show that you see in Brazil or in the USA, but has a strong local touch. Buenos Aires has a long story of high quality varieté and independent theater, and you can see this influence in the show. Not the high quality, but the show structure and production. Besides a few lip singing in a parodic tone, one of the drags actually sang. First parodying an archetypical female tango singer, and then a Mexican one. Both drag queen performed long sessions of stand up comedy mingling and picking on the audience, and led a game with audience participation. In between the two main stars performances, the dancers would perform artistic numbers. They were hot guys, but with all the mannerisms of trained dancers, which I do not find sexually attractive. IMG_3555.MOV IMG_3554.MOV The show ended at 2:30 with an homage to el Dia del Amigo. The entrance was $AR 200, including one drink. I ordered a whiscola, and it was generously served. During the show, the place was arranged like a cabaret, with tables and chairs in front of the stage. During the show people was coming in and the areas without tables started to get crowded. Once the show was over, the tables were removed and the audience area became a dancing floor. I was told this is a place popular amongst taxi boys and clients. I did see a couple of escorts I recognized from their ads, but none of them was in my shopping list. At 3 am people was still arriving and I was ready to go. I am not fit anymore for Buenos Aires night life times. I will try to go again some other day when they do have strippers, which are probably the best days to observe taxi boys and clients in action. No promises though.1 point -
Not surprising at all. All I have to do is look at something on Amazon and I start getting ads on Facebook. Oddly, a year ago I thought about a carousel tea decoration and then all of the sudden they started appearing all over the internet. Now, who in their right mind wants one of these things? Second, I was surprised at how many places I could find them. But, it was just a 10 second thought. Now, on Facebook, I am getting tons of apartment ads for Sao Paulo. Why? I don't know. I can't figure it out. But, they think I want a multi-million dollar apartment in Sao Paulo. I must have clicked some link at some point. Or, is everyone getting sold Penthouse apartments in Sao Paulo. I do wish that when I clicked on a hot guy on a gay app that the app would start recommending other similar twinks to me. Now, that is one way I'd love my data to be used esp. in Bangkok when I log in and there are hundreds of guys within a few miles of me. When I'm home in Alabama, there are only around 50 within 100 miles so I don't need much help there. But, I'd love some direct targeting in Bangkok.1 point

I'm not sure what you mean by a "new stream of clientele" but we were there recently (post Songkran) and the gay bars relocated in Patpong, the bars in Silom Soi 4, Silom Soi 2 and Moonlight were packing them in with mostly China and other Asia customers. A fun, vibrant and occasionally boisterous atmosphere and we enjoyed ourselves. Didn't see any farang lounging around like Cixi waiting to be fanned, fed and fawned over.1 point

Hmmm, those Freshboys aren't gonna stay fresh for very long if Screwboys are under them, know what I mean...1 point

Wouldn't this be in violation of some antitrust or anti-competition agreement? I mean when the German guy sold Dreamboys to the Thai guy, he wasn't selling bar space but the bar's brand, image and goodwill, which include the boys, mamasans, uniqueness of shows, etc, at least for a certain period of time, no?1 point

They had this act at Hotmale last November. I asked one of the captains whether the three guys were wearing body suits because the artwork was quite intricate to have been painted on the go go dancers in just a matter of minutes but he assured me that it was painted on. The act was OK; it would have been sexier if they had picked the guys with the sexiest bodies but they seemed to have been in short supply that night but there were plenty of huge cocks! One of the dancers had a substantial amount of lower abdominal fat which seemed more pronounced in silhouette form but overall the show was alright and the captains at this bar were some of the friendliest and least intrusive that we had encountered.1 point

Wow! I haven't logged in in a while and am amazed at how the discussion in this and other threads keep going in a convivial and collegial fashion. Excellent job on the Soi Twilight updates. I still have a lot of catching up to do but I just wanted to say, "Well done, guys, and keep it going!"1 point

There's another issue here which no one seems to have picked up on. Thai notes bear the image of the king and any form of disrespect towards that image can be construed as lese majeste. People have been arrested for accidentally stepping on his image and there was one incident where a drunken farang threw his change on the bar floor and stepped on it because he was upset about one thing or other and was sent to prison for it. I know these are extreme cases but it doesn't hurt to be mindful of these things especially in the current political climate.1 point

Oh dear. This is not the first time you've made a scathing, reprehensible and grossly exaggerated generalisation about "most Thais". For someone who claims to be a scientist, your assertions are ironically unscientific and not based on solid empirical evidence that would justify its application on "most Thais". From reading your posts, I gather that your interactions with Thai people have been limited in scope and diversity. You judge the people you meet in terms of how they would fit in your mold of how they should be instead of taking them as they are. You seem to lack empathy for people and their circumstances and are quick to judge them based on some biased, singular yardstick and fail to acknowledge that every individual is made up of many parts with their own gifts and flaws. On Sawatdee Network, you described 95% of the gay Thais you've had contact with as "stupid, lazy, greedy creatures". I've told you this before and I will tell you again: you should ask yourself why you seem to have an inordinate amount of negative encounters with Thai boys when the experiences of others have been quite the opposite. After all, you are the common denominator in these encounters. And lastly, be careful what you wish for - if your average Thai guy turns into your average Singaporean, Hong Konger or Japanese, it's unlikely that he'll give you the time of day.1 point
