I would rather be rejected by an Airbnb host, though that is unlikely and is reportable under their non-discrim code, than risk walking into a situation being in a home that may be known and targetted by homonegative (with indifferent law enforcement) elements within its community. The Parisian adult male starting the company had reportedly been denied a stay request in Barcelona (!) ... sorry, don't buy it. He also implied that Airbnb policy allowed hosts to ask about orientation. Wrong. All he had to do was report the host. However, obviously it his and consumer prerogative to deviate from mainstream listing platforms. Other than 'entire place' I have stayed in Airbnb 'private rooms' with 3 families and with 1 single person and never been asked anything personal such as marital status, etc despite plenty of social exchange with them including at times attending social gatherings with their friends as an invitee. Hosts care more about how you rate them than who you fuck.

There is a series on Netflix called "Inside the Worlds Toughest Prisons" where a British ex-con goes inside to "live" inside a tough prison for a week to document conditions. Not surprisingly many of the toughest prisons he visits are in Latin America. Check out the episodes where he is in Brazil, or Colombia and it is not hard to imagine some of the tough guys that he interviews working in either 117 or 202. There are a lot of hot, shirtless guys in this series but more than anything it shows me what a fine line there is between a hot, seemingly well spoken guy and someone who could be a killer. It's worth watching not just for the eye candy but to remind us all to be careful south of the border.

In my opinion Mrbnb is a useless, overpriced and overrated alternative with limited options for the insecure gay traveler. Like their places cater better to the gay traveler; providing a empty sense of security? Come on! It’s BS. Airbnb has more options, no stupid requests (provide FB and Insta profile?? What the F. is that?), better prices and owners always accept normal people regardless age, sex, religion or sexual orientation (I’m an Airbnb apartment owner myself; I happily agreed to these conditions) as long as your not a nuisance. Because Williewillies nice report I visited the bar for the first time after the renovation. A huge improvement and the bar now looks great! About 12 gogo-boys, 4-5 in A-bomb shirts and the rest shirtless. Better rotation on stage now. In the old bar it was awfully slow. They are still as before, extremely over-staffed with waiters, doormen, papasans or whatever, in comparison to the amount of customers. Show started 23:50 and ended 00:28. A lot of nude boys. Thankfully no ladyboys singing or showing off their big dresses, there is enough of that in every other bar. After the show some of the boys went out and were obviously not available and only participated in the show. The others, up on stage for rotation. Sure the boys here are bigger than the average Pattaya barboy, but none of them really exceptional in my humble opinion so I did not find anyone I think was worth buying a 300 baht boydrink for. Off fee I was told is now 500 baht. In the old bar the boy would expect 1500 tip for short time. I don't know if that is still the case. Too expensive for my taste. I can find what I'm looking for cheaper. But will probably visit a few times a year to see the show and to see what's on offer.

Done with family for the day, and waiting for the debates to start. Tomorrow I fly to Corrientes. While I wait, here yo have a preliminary report on local providers. Rentmen here shows rates. The standard price targeting visitors seems to be U$S 100, but there are a few guys asking for 200/300, and even one at 400. However, a couple of guys who hit me in Grindr asked for just AR$ 1,500. I do not know whether or not knew I am coming from the USA, but my profiles there are written in English. In the local forums, clients seem to be happy with rates in the 1,500/2,000 range.

However, I am bewildered how you or anyone else could possibly believe that Trump is anything except for someone who should not be the president of the United States. Among other things, Trump is a documented habitual and chronic liar. That character flaw does not fit with the person who leads America. Trump has fractured our country. It will take many years after Trump is voted out of office for the U.S. to recover good relations with allies. Due to the bizarre things Trump repeatedly does and says to America's long-term allies, it is a wonder we are not at war. Trump's so-called "trade war" (if enacted) could very well cause a major recession for America this year and cause major economic damage for America's allies. Trump is a heartless and selfish man. Most of America's allies laugh at us for having such a freak as president.

Arrived to Buenos Aires his morning. A car from Ezeiza to Recoleta was U$S 36 (AR$ 1,550). he guy did not help me ro carry my bag and so I did not tip him. I did not start yet fucking, but I could not avoid diving in delicious food.These prices are from a fancy French place where I had lunch today, not chip for local standards. I am trying to see Carlos Aleman tomorrow. He is now retired from the local market, frustrated at the complaints about his rate (he is asking for 3K, which at nowadays currency is U$S 70). I am not sure yet whether or not we will meet, as I do not have much time before leaving to Corrientes. I am actually planning on a fest of local providers when I return from Rio, the last two weeks of July.

I thunderously concur. No one in that prison got my juices flowing, for my mind during my waking hours would have been on keeping myself alive and surviving. Overall, this series was heart wrenching except for the Danish prison, another institution unto itself!

I get reacquainted with Boy, a Vietnamese mamasan from X-Boys. He doesn’t wear yellow polo T-shirt like the waiter and mamasans because he’s the cashier. I ask him about the boys. He tells me that his roommate and fellow waiter at X-Boys, Z, whom I saw in March has gone back to Vietnam. That’s 3 Viet boys (Y, the gogo boy, Ken, the masseur and Z, the waiter) whom I know who have given up life in Bangkok. Perhaps Vietnam has progressed economically recently and there are more jobs available back home. Boy then asks me, “But P is still here. You want see him?” I was flabbergasted. “Isn’t P working at Jupiter?” As it turned out, P followed the other X-Boys boys to a Lucky Boys. “Yeah, sure.” It was 10:15pm and Anddy arrived. He was surprised that I ordered a bottle. I tell him that it makes sense economically and anyway I was on holiday so I felt generous. Anddy and I were mesmerised by the wide variety of boys on stage. Definitely more boys compared to Hot Male. And yes, they smile! Lucky Boys, however isn’t full. Probably because Dreamboys has just opened and taken away many of their customers. I counted about 20 customers spread out all around the cavernous bar. The show didn’t start at 10:30pm as promised. They waited for more customers to arrive before starting the show. There was an interesting couple seated next to Anddy and I. It was a farang and an Asian boy. They were there to select a boy for a threesome. There was a lone Korean-looking female customer in early 30s seated by herself. She seemed like one of those K-pop fanatics but her object of worship were the gogo boys on stage. There was a Thai couple in their 50s. I swear I have seen them before - perhaps at Moonlight? Just before the show starts, P arrrives. He seemed really glad to see me again. It was his off day today but he rushed over after Boy messaged him about his favourite customer from Singapore. He explains that he decided to join Lucky Boys instead of Jupiter after X-Boys closed. He says that it was a wise choice. “Many customers.” P tells me that he got 4 offs in a typical week during the first month of Lucky Boys. But business has slowed after Dreamboys opened. The show finally begins. The routine is classic Classic Boys - 4 boys dancing around a singing ladyboy. But these boys dance better than those at Jupiter and Moonlight. And those smiles! But things went downhill after that. It was just a series of lip syncing by ladyboys - without the dancing boys! They only appear in two performances - the opening act and the closing act which is Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. There were two erotic dance numbers. Cocks visible but not as hardcore as Hot Male. “No shower show,” P laments. P used to do shower show at X-Boys. “Nevermind, you can do shower show for me in hotel room.”

Night came and off I went to Foodland Patpong for dinner before going to Lucky Boys. Invited Anddy and he said he would arrive after 10pm. The waiter then turned the menu over and I saw the bottles pricing. 4000 baht with mixers. I did a bit of mental calculation and went ahead to order it. I was expecting to stay the whole night and with Anddy joining me, I figured it would be cheaper to get a bottle than get individual drinks for us and the boys. A twinkish mamasan came over and spoke to me in Mandarin. I replied, “I’m from Singapore. I speak English.” But seeing how he’s actively trying to brush up his Mandarin (to obviously cater to Chinese customers) and due to the fact that I was impressed that he had learnt Mandarin on his own without attending any classes, I spoke to him in both languages throughout the night. Very cute boy with (you guess it!) a sweet smile. His name is L and he used to be a dancer at Classic then switched to be a waiter and has now worked his way up to be a mamasan. L has a very fun-loving personality. I asked him whether he can be offed. Unfortunately, he said no. I make a sad face. Maybe if we get to know each other better, who knows what might happen in the future?

I requested a room on misterbandb once and the host wanted my facebook and instagram profiles, and a list of other annoying requirements (cash deposit...no way I would EVER do that) Seemed more trouble than it was worth..
