I am going there in July(not the best time, hot, humid and frequent afternoon showers!)but I getting my permanent residency Visa! If you are 60 or older, and meet Mecico's financial requirements for monthly income and savings you can skip the 4 year TEMPORARY VISA And go right to permanent status. Thanks Msclelovr ! I plan on spending 2 weeks every other month there( more or less), I don't have to pay taxes on my income that is earned outside of Mexico, which is All of it. The only taxes I pay each year are my property taxes which are extremely low in Mexico. I am not getting citizenship, just permanent residency, that allows me to open checking/savings bank accounts, go thru the Mexican citizen line at customs in the airport, apply for their hospitalization plan If wanted, etc., And most importantly I can stay in Mexico 1 day or 1 year or longer with no limit on my stay(s).

So after reading this thread for a while, I decided to give the place a good try. A few comments. 1. The guy Babe is really sexy. Best smile for sure in the bar and a great performer. Very nice trip to Colombia, from April 9th to 26th. In Medellin I rented in San Peters Apartaments, in Laureles. Good place, with a liberal guest policy. I met mostly guys from fb or through friends. Leaving today,as planned....but don't think I'll be coming back, def was a one time thing for me. All of the apps are money boys...which I'm OK with. The question to ask is not whether it's possible to live in Bangkok on 30K, but whether it's desirable. I lived on an average salary of about 27K way back in 1999-2000, when the baht went further than it does now. I wouldn't care to try it in 2019.

Entrance fee 450, after Jupiter reducing theirs to 400, Moonlight’s is probably the highest fee in Bangkok now. I like the way they are introducing new shows quite often unlike other bars and performers are interchangeable. I was in Dalat earlier this month. A charming destination for a few days - somewhat cooler than the soaring heat in Nha Trang and HCMC, what a relief!
