So, I went to Dream Boys Paradiso and my plan was to off Mr Perfect Guy without entering the club. When I mentioned Mr. Perfect Guy's number to the doorman, he asked me to wait, he went inside, but came out to my frustration saying that Mr Perfect Guy was not working that day. The doorman didn't seem to have plan to let me walk away that night without any contribution to their business.. he insisted that I went inside and have a look at available guys. Because I was very reluctant to go inside, he asked me to take a look at the guys from the back door. it was even more weird. So, I went into the club instead. The place, as we all know here, was a tiny one. There were about 7-8 guys in jeans on the stage parading. None of them was appealing to me. There were more female than male customers in the club. The show started a few minutes later, with two guys dancing in their shirts and jeans.. followed by two ladyboys .. it was when one of the two ladyboys lifted her dress and showed off her male genitalia I paid my bill (350 baht) and left that place. The advantage? I did have a chance to give a feedback about their camera and violation of their customers' privacy to one of their mamasans who said she would mention it to her boss. So, Drim, I had to save your Mr Perfect Guy for my next trip. one of the mamasans inside said he was with a customer for a few days. I hope I did not give them an impression that I was trying to change them. Thanks to a senior member here, I am aware that we should never try to change them, but just to learn how to like their way. Being unsatisfied at DB paradiso, I continued to Tawan bar though I knew that it does not cater to my taste. the bar was almost empty when I got there.. only a few customers inside the club watching some guys on the stage - who were much bigger to my taste and more mature than I would have liked. One guy who appeared to be the smallest among his colleagues was trying to make a constant eye contact with me while he was on the stage, then came to my table, had some chatting, usual conversation such as where are you from? how long you stay in Bangkok etc? Throughout our chatting, he kept rubbing my thighs, and he was able to give me enough preparation for my last encounter before I concluded this trip. We left the bar after I paid my bill (350 admission fee, 500 off fee) and a small tip to mamasan, to have a quick and last minute pleasurable encounter before I happily concluded my second trip.6 points

Thank you for your great report. I hope you had a good time. It's a good reminder that there are always good and less good parts of any trip and you -- and GoldMember -- have exactly the right attitude: don't let the minor hiccups interfere with your overall enjoyment of the trip. (Also I secretly enjoy that your posts are driving some of the forum money police apoplectic.)5 points -
I do since asianstudent said clearly that boy if question was cutest guy he saw that trip. Nothing wrong with rewarding a winner4 points

My last day in BKK.... (5/5/19) So, after the boy from LuckyBoys left my room around 5 am, I took a shower and slept for about 2 hours.. I woke up around 8 am, did some packing and had my brunch at Azuma myself before I went to see one of my friends in Ladprao.. after we spent some time together, he asked me to go to a massage shop together.. he's a local, but when I mentioned about Arena, he said he had not been there yet and he was very excited to give it a try especially since he is into muscular guys. He chose to go to V club. Since he didn't want his driver know where we were really going to, he asked him to drive to a plaza near the Ari station. then we had an early dinner at Kub Kao Kub Pla thai restaurant.. price was reasonable and dishes were very delicious.. hard to control myself not to eat a lot just before getting a massage. From there, we walked to V club.. on our way, we noticed a few great looking guys and one of them indeed passed us over and walked into the V club ahead of us. It was about 6:15 pm when we got there.. it was my first time to be there, and was surprised by many good looking masseurs standing on the stage. In my opinion, it was the place with the most good looking guys available at the specific time of my visit compared to others (Prince or arena). My friend wanted to go closer to have a better look, but being nervous (again), I insisted to stay at the back.. he chose a half naked muscular man and I chose a super cute shorter boy. Luckily, my boy turned out to be really cute on a closer look with a perfect muscular body when he took his shirt off.. we chose a 90 minute course, deluxe room for 950 baht and we were told that the minimum tip would be 2000 baht. The room was very small without a proper massage table. it seemed to be one of those private rooms for sauna guests. there was a bed of about 2 ft high, mirror on one side and a small shower booth on the other side.. nothing looked like what is mentioned on their site about deluxe room. My boy said he's from Vietnam, the cutest boy I've encountered on this trip, with a baby face, but nice eyebrows, perfectly muscular body, hairy at appropriate places, and very well endowed. But he had zero massage skills, and did not try to put any effort into it. The course that we chose was 90 minute oil, but he gave me scrub instead which I did not question since I was liking it anyways (or should i say i was liking him very much?). In the middle of the course, he said he ran out of the cream and left the room to get more cream.. he did not return until 10 minutes later. On his return, he told me a story why it was taking him that long and said sorry to me. he continued the scrub for a few more minutes, then I had to take a shower AGAIN. then I realized why he gave me a scrub... after I came out of my second shower, he gave me some back rubbing session (I cannot call it a massage), before he asked me to turn. The extra service was also mediocre if I can be generous. But to be fair to him, it was against his mentioned role preference. For those of you who wanted more specific details, yes it did include penetration part, but not to my utmost satisfaction. the whole session took only about 1 hour. He was the cutest guy of my trip this time. The massage place seemed to be managed quite well unlike what I experienced at Prince. The place looked nice, clean and fancy. But I may not return. If it was not my last day, i might have asked my masseur's Line info. I gave him 300 baht extra tip (so a total of 2300 tip to him)..We left the place around 7:30 pm, walked back to where his driver was waiting (at a plaza near Ari station). and they gave me a ride back to my hotel. I finalized my packing.. since I still had a few more hours before my flight, I decided to go see Drim's Mr Perfect Guy since I haven't met him yet despite Drim's strong recommendation.4 points

Finally, after walking past it a couple of times I remember the third hotel I had in mind when posting about those new options. It is called "Resort M BTS Chong Nonsi". It is directly next to the MahaNakon building, in the very small narrow soi bewtween immediately to the left of the MahaNakon, between MahaNakon and The Infinity It's no more than 100m from the BTS station. VERY cheap indeed, less than 1000B. Though being very small it even have a small pool between the two wings (hence the name "resort" I suppose). Looks look modern and nice in the pics, though it seems some have no wondoew (not sure). This might be another great value option for esteemed hotel-hopper @vinapu Nope, alive and kicking. Drove past the other day and made a point of looking, as I was also looking for the hostel there, Minimis fromerly Thrive, sionce someone asked about that. That one is being demolished as part of the Twilight redevelopment, but not BBB. true and annoying. A way around that is searching for a hotel in google maps rather than the regular google. The hotel description there will have address, phone number and other info, AND a link to the hotel's own website (if they have one, sometimes for some businesses it's a link to their facebook page, but same thing if that's all they have) Note the difference in amenities: laundry SERVICE vs laundry FACILITIES. The former should be obvious what it is, the latter can be ambiguous. I'm the exact opposite haha. NEVER eaten any of the snacks, but sometimes had a coke or something from the fridge when there was an urgent need. Always paid for that, though, never even occurred to me to replace it from outside lol. Haha, I have actually taken remains of small bars of soap from hotels, which I do when staying at high end hotels and they have high quality soap rather than the cheapt shitty ones. And yes, I am entitled to those remains, as I already used it and it would otherwise land in the trash, wasted. This reminds me of an annoying habit of a hotel in southern France I stay for about a week every year. They replace the soap bar after about a couple of days, when it's still like 95% intact (I only use bar soap to wash my hands, never to shower). Why they do that is a mystery to me and I find a competely unecessary waste. I do take the remains (if they leave me one towards the end of my stay) with me too, as it;s a nice olive oil soap. I went there to look at their rooms a year or two ago, scouting hotels for a friend. The whole place (apart from the nice lobby area) looked dark and old and tired inside and I would NEVER consider staying there.3 points

I believe the answer to your conundrum is explained by Asnstudent's description of the guy: ".... I chose a super cute shorter boy. Luckily, my boy turned out to be really cute on a closer look with a perfect muscular body when he took his shirt off.. ... the cutest boy I've encountered on this trip, with a baby face, but nice eyebrows, perfectly muscular body, hairy at appropriate places, and very well endowed. ...He was the cutest guy of my trip this time. .... If it was not my last day, i might have asked my masseur's Line info." I think many of us have paid the same--if not more--at least once for the same experience that remains imprinted indelibly in our memory. --------------- You've got to accentuate the positive eliminate the negative Latch on to the affirmative But don't mess with mister inbetween You've got to spread joy up to the maximum Bring gloom down to the minimum have faith, a pandemonium Libel to walk up on the scene Johnny Mercer, 19442 points

It’s low season and there are relatively few gay farangs in the boy bars. Many older gay farangs now use the apps. Jomtien Complex still has many gay farangs and many bar host boys as well. The Boyztown boy bars have few older gay farangs but large numbers of Asian men and women customers. There’s no shortage of bar boys and many make little money and don’t seem to stay long. Sunee Plaza fairly desolate most nights with dark stretches of closed bars. The boys seem most desperate here but of course, boys have been asking for money for food for decades. My guess is most make very little money and are dependent on tips. They need ‘offs’ to pay the rent. Many bar boys are on the apps now..2 points -

I presume you mean the 5 cl bottles. as 5ml is around the same size as a teaspoon! Then again with some of the weak drinks I have had around Sunee and the Bkk gogo bars I would not be surprised if 5ml was the standard measure in some of those joints!2 points -

Here's one way to put this in context. Many of the staff who work the venues around Silom have their evening meals delivered by vendors who charge about 40 baht. So if you give someone a 20 baht note, it's half the cost of their dinner. If a guy chooses to turn up his nose at this, there are others who won't. That's what separates us from the animals: we take money. As you've learned, having a select stable of regulars is good practice. You know you're already comfortable with each other and and the quality of the experience is predictable. Glad that served you well as your trip draws to a close. Agree that Foodland is a fine choice to get meals to go at a reasonable price that you and your guest will be happy with. And it's a 24/7 operation. As I mentioned in another thread, having you and Gold Member posting great trip reports simultaneously has been a treat. Your keen sense of what engages the reader leaves us always looking forward to more. Thanks for the effort.2 points -
Pay the off fee by cards?

Thanks for all the replies. It looks like I'll just stick to cash for everything. Going to be a culture shock as in UK I literally have one cash transaction per month - my haircut. I've got Clarity, Starling and Curve card for all my forex-free transactions. :-) Never used Superrich. I use the tiny little bureau just around the corner for even better rates and no queues !! ;)))) All i need to do now is just plan the route from one bar to another hehehe1 point -
maybe the Superrich "Visit Thailand Card" debit card is an option, too. It's advertised actively in their branches. I haven't checked terms & conditions as it's not relevant to me. Link: https://www.superrich1965.com/newDetail.php?id=5b922e21cf606c035e23e2231 point

I can imagine being turned on by the looks even if performance leaves a lot to desire. There are guys out there who are pleasure to be with just because of their looks, personality or even just cock size or shape even if everything else seem to be substandard. On another hand all may seem to be perfect - looks, performance and big bulge but whole experience may be ruined by bad breath or just our own headache1 point

I see you're in the UK - if so consider maybe applying for a MONZO card ( link below), they really are very good. Basically a debit card, but they charge NO international exchange fee charges and ( the best part for me anyway) when you use it the transaction INSTANTLY flashes up on your mobile phone screen, showing what you've bought and where and the amount charged by the place both in the local currency and also in UK Sterling cost too - so it's a great way of keeping tabs on whats being charged to your card "live" - and helps you stop being scammed as you'll notice instantly as they try it ! There are also several other nice features there too about showing your record of where and when you spent money ( handy if you want to find a place again days or months later). Just remember the card is linked to your UK phone so if you go away and change your sim over you'd need to be updating the app contact over to that new number then too until you get home again ( I presume as I haven't had to actually do that yet myself) https://monzo.com1 point

Do I read that right that Dream Boys Paradiso has a drink price of 350 THB, down from 500 or whatever they used to charge at Dream Boys / Boys Bangkok in Soi Twilight? Then there would be no more reason for me to blacklist them for being the most expensive bar, and I can go and have a (one, for research purposes) look some day.1 point -

Last nights show was stunning. Eleven boys in the finale, parading on the stage at full mast. I generously tipped each one after a brief check of their goods. You can off them for 800b. or wait till after the shows for less. A couple of new boys blew my mind. Almost no farangs there for show.1 point -

"What the hell is it with people who think they can judge another's whole life based on a few words on an anonymous message board?" You missed the facts. In the case of this individual asking about a DNR, he is at a high age. He lives in a nursing home and is chronically ill. He admitted in a prior post that he recently sat for days in his own feces because he could not help himself or get help. Do you really think that he has joy living as he described himself in his prior posts? If he were to die naturally, as nature intends for us all, his miserable existence would be finished. On the other hand, if he insists on heroic measures to keep him alive with machines and feeding tubes and machines and/or other means, what purpose is served? What quality of life will he have living artificially? You wrote, "This is what you get. If you want to cut yours short, by all means, be my guest." Having a DNR order is not cutting life short. Refusing a DNR lets nature do its intended purpose. As I said earlier, nature is wonderful. It takes its course and usually works quite well.1 point
-
Of course I did take it back and wished him good luck with that attitude.1 point
-
"What is the purpose?" Really? Life is precious. You don't get to chuck it in the bin and go grab a new one. This is what you get. If you want to cut yours short, by all means, be my guest. But, you don't know him, you don't know his life. You don't know what brings him joy. What the hell is it with people who think they can judge another's whole life based on a few words on an anonymous message board?1 point
-
Everyone who actually thinks about DNR worries about a few things. One being I still can be "rescued". I am not really as sick as others think. I am not really almost dead, Mother Nature is just playing a trick on us. The medicos misread or misunderstood the latest tests. Etc. Our inbred instinct says do not give up. To get to a correct decision one's intellect must take over and let reason overrule instinct. I agree that someone just sitting there unable to talk or respond to others may indeed be having some quality of life but I really don't wish to know first hand. Best regards, RA11 point

When I use Planet Romeo, I look at the activity tag page. I don't use the traveler page as it seems to have algo-limitations. I do use the activity page and what I've noticed is the number of accounts that appear depends on the time of day. I checked last night in preparation for my visit next week and found hundreds of Bangkok active romeos, most with multiple photos.1 point -

I once stayed at the Pan Pacific on Rama 4 - now the Crowne Plaza. It was major 4 star hotel but when checking out I was asked to wait while the in room fridge was checked. I always think this is such a demeaning exercise. If you pay by credit card they can always add to it after departure for those who are not honest. The worst guests are those who drink the whisky and vodka and then refill the bottles with weak tea and water. That is much harder to check until the next guest wants a drink. The point of the post though is that after waiting for several minutes I was asked if I would please return the bathrobe. They refused to believe I did not have it. I had to open my case and let them look through before they processed the bill. That was a disgrace. I never stayed there again.1 point -

Nice boys had customers coming and going during my visit. One Chinese guy was crowded with guys, calling them from the stage and buying drinks till he settled on one and left with him. There seem to be over 30 guys on the stage. Dream boys was filled with customers on one side of the bar during the show. The bar had 2 guys in there that I would not turn down if I saw them in a sauna. The bar didnt have the energy xboys gave it years ago when they has the apace. Good boys, saw 4 guys on the sofa outside. More were upstairs. They now have a 2nd floor as reported and a private room. Im sure some shenanigans happen there but I can't put my finger on it right now. Panorama had a handfull of customers, boyztown has a felling of being in dress rehearsals. Xboys had 8 customers when I arrived and a few more staggered in and a Chinese group of 4 trickled in during the show. The drink prices are 280 for beer and 300 for staff drink. For me, if staff drink prices are more than 250 I won't buy them any drinks. One note, after bar hopping and walking around, guys working in the bars messaged me on grindr, Romeo, hornet and jacked thanking me for visiting their bar, and the expected stuff.1 point -
Think I understand now why you’ve become flustered over this. You seem to have endured an emotionally wrenching laundry experience at some point. Allow me to suggest a solution that should alleviate both your fear of laundry uncertainty and your friend’s irritability about being ignored. As soon as your friend’s next off completes his obligation, have him immediately delivered to your hotel. In return for the privilege of luxuriating in your tub, he takes your soiled stuff to the nearest coin-operated, DIY facility and returns it neatly folded. There is no need to thank me.1 point
