I’m the other way around. I think to much planning and overthinking gets in the way of a fun evening. So many times you think all day of the guy you will off, only to find he isn’t working tonight. I’ll go out tonight and see what’s going on in FreshBoys, if nothing go over to LuckyBoys. Many times you plan on a guy then get inside bar and see a hotter guy. Nothing wrong with a little game plan, but don’t over think your evening. Your here to have fun, leave your day planner back in your office.5 points

Just a quick note to say really good fun meeting up with both you Michael and Paul again the other night. Really fun / happy night...great to see you both in action. Seems like we have very similar tastes in our guys as that was some seriously good eye candy too. Took 2 of my wingmen from Screwboys to DJ station after and we fell out the door at 2am for food...with another lovely HK chinese lad in tow. Hope you had a fun night with B from Lucky boys...went there again tonight with one of the Viets who sat with you both in Freshboys 2 (it was his request when asked where he wanted to go) and it is fun venue. Ok back to nursing offmy latest hangover...night all! (Or is it morning...my body clocks a mess)!4 points

Well they told me I was not gay and that I should stay with them and buy them drinks ! I didn’t mind really except I was trying to see what was going on at DBP and Lucky Boy, crowds, type of people going in etc.3 points

Coz i was saving it for tonight.3 points

A quick learner, I just used one of the techniques I learned here towards that mamasan at Fresh Boys 2 tonight. She kept asking me "which number?", I said "you're the best! and I just want you." Then she left me alone.3 points

Crowd funding perhaps. I’m in !2 points

You did yourself proud in saving your baht to buy drinks for those who don't have tits. lol. That bar has the perfect location for observing the comings and goings of DBP, LuckyBoys, Bangkok Massage and the list goes on. They have a few outside tables and many stools only about five meters across the soi from the action. As one veteran member suggested during my last trip, maybe we should just take over those straight bars that suite our purpose.2 points

Gay Thailand and Gay Bangkok Thrives and is Alive
floridarob and one other reacted to Londoner for a topic
Further to Will7272's remark about beer bars and host bars, he is quite correct; being able to sit in Dick's, or at tables at the other bars at street level, was one of my Bangkok pleasures. Watching people - customers, massage staff, guys on their way to work and staff- over a glass of beer was an enjoyable and inexpensive way of spending a couple of hours. To be blunt, I'd lost interest in the go-go bars by about 2007...as soon as go- go dancing was replaced by go-go standing and go-go posing. I hope that the new gay area will accommodate such venues.2 points -
It needs a lot of planning, synchronization and other higher level management skills to optimally utilize our precious time here in BKK so that we could maximize the number of guys we can meet. It also depends on what kind of acts you have done for that given day and what kind of different acts you were still looking in the evenings etc. please dont even think that it is an easy task.2 points

I went there tonight.. there were many good looking hunks, half naked, at the entrance.. I asked the door man if they still had that camera, he didn't seem to understand me. so he said "go and take a look". I stepped inside the door.. and saw something that looked like a CCTV facing towards the entrance door. I ran away and never looked back.. went to Fresh boys instead.2 points

I certainly thought off fee is the bar cut from having taking the boy for services. If no services delivered, id be expecting a refund. The boy could say in the bar that he is not well to be off but he didnt. Given that he is only on the way to the hotel, he probably only away from bar less than 10min. Eitherway, its not good for the bar nor for the customer when boy behave like this, and i dont see why customer has to take the hit when the service povided by the bar, aka, the boy, decided to cancel it. In ideal world, its the boy who should be taking the hit, but hey, TIT. My friend decided to vote with his feet and money instead and i dont blame him.2 points

I have been worried since Soi Twilight closed as so many have said the area was gloom and doom and the gogo scene in Bangkok was dead. I have no idea where these ideas came from. The scene is just as active and vibrant as before. The venues have changed. The beer bars are gone but the bars and the gogo scene is great. I was in three bars tonight on Patpong 1: FreshBoys, LuckyBoys, and Screwboys. All three were excellent. All had a plethora of sexy guys to choose from and the boys were just as plentiful as before. In fact, I think the bars have been upgraded as I certainly did enjoy the new seats, new looks, and lighting. Do not listen to the naysayers. It may take some time to walk around and see everything. But, the gay scene and the gay gogo bars are great in gay Thailand and Bangkok's scene is fun and active.1 point

SURE I was in Phuket and offed a hot guy from Tangmo. But when I go to my hotel they checked his ID and told me he was underage. This even though I had asked at the bar before taking him off. So back to the bar we went and I told the Mamasan the problem. He apologized and refunded my Off Fee. Do not know what happened to the guy???1 point

Bolsonaro: Brazil can't become "gay tourism paradise"
SolaceSoul reacted to sydneyboy1 for a topic
I repeat I am certainly not defending this appalling character. He is a classic demigod with simplistic solutions to complex problems and a resort to scapegoats. History is replete with his ilk and the United States currently has a President who superbly encapsulates this phenomena.1 point -
This is probably the best answer to that question lol1 point

An acquaintance who has studied the Holocaust has explained to me that there were Jews in Germany who supported the ascent of Hitler, who promised to bring stability after a period of economic turmoil. Sadly, we all know the end of that story. President Bolsonaro's popularity has apparently plummeted as he is concentrating on social engineering rather than bread-and-butter issues, down from 49% saying he was doing a "good or great job" just after his 1/1/19 inauguration ["honeymoon effect", methinks] to 35% in the latest polls. Just this week, he sacked the advertising director of Bank of Brazil (an entity of the Brazilian government) for airing a TV ad about diversity, which included racial minorities, young people with decorative rings, and transgender people, which he personally found to be distasteful. The reasons people voted for Jair Bolsonaro had to do with (1) the threat criminal activity poses to living day-to-day in Brazil; (2) corruption, which permeates every level of Brazilian society, affecting both democratic norms and economic advancement; and (3) the morbid Brazilian economy, with high unemployment and stagnant growth rates. Bozo has had just over 100 days in office and hasn't performed well thus far on any of those parameters, in the eyes of Brazilians. It seems that people are seeing what he is trying to do, i.e., avoiding the real concerns of the people by falling back on social "hot-button" issues, including his attacks on LGBT people. As early as it may be, it seems that Bozo's short-lived honeymoon is already over.1 point

San-HOE-Domingo, Dominican Republic

All this info is appreciated. Got a good deal in writing from Roma 2 hotel, recommended by a sex pig pal who's stayed there, and they're arranging for a driver to meet me at the airport. Enjoying making FB friends and getting info about activities and meet ups, not hookups, with them. We have different tastes in men and while I certainly appreciated a well developed or muscular body, I more desire a big cock preferably uncut and a dude who can just lay back, relax, and enjoy incredible throating. On a visit to Cuba recently, I got lucky and met a thick black boy masseuse at the gay beach. He encouraged me to feel his inches through his skimpy shorts and I was impressed with his cock even while soft. We hooked up at my casa particular and got along very well. He's in his late 20s, furry stomach and thick hairy legs and just a cocksucker's dream dick. Saw him 9 times and for most nights, the Cuban national baseball championship was on TV. My sex buddy showed up, ate some food I'd cooked, took a shower and then laid back on the bed watching the games as I slowly pleasured him. Sometimes he took a small amount of viagra, stayed harder longer, and always gave my sucker's hungry throat nice loads. One thing he and other Cuban sex workers didn't do that seems to be required of Dominicans is he didn't trim his thick bush. My nose should be pressed up against plenty of black men's stubbily crotches in Santo Domingo. While I certainly wanna sample a few big cocks at Cine Lido and the sauna, I'm also open to hooking up with one or two dudes for repeat sessions at my hotel and if they're affordable. Sure, new cocks and lengths and thickness and sweaty aromas are a turn on, but I can get really cock piggy, and my throat stretched, with a regular. Being on an longer than usual first time visit, I won't feel any rush to do all the sightseeing and swimming and sucking as quick as possible. At my age, I like taking my time to get the lay of the land and learn some local cruising customs, eventually leading (hopefully) to some mutually satisfying experiences.1 point -

Travel by air - TSA mistreatment
boiworship reacted to rgb23 for a topic
Being a TSA employee has got to be tough. It's high-stress and nobody wants the delay. I'm not surprised by the little abuses I see when I travel, gratuitous acts of rudeness that would cause customer service incidents in a private business. It seems like we're all hardened to the mutual unpleasantness, and some of the passengers deliberately taunt TSA agents. I have a little game I play when I'm in a long line. If there's a hot agent I make sure he sees me checking him out. Once at PHX I got my wish: a sturdy latino led me aside for a very thorough pat down. I really wanted to touch his sexy webbed belt, but I held out my hands as instructed. He took his time and we both smiled. Sometimes a bit of the naughty takes the edge off a hard day at work.1 point -
I am not a legal scholar but I do not agree that corporations should have "citizenship" rights. I agree the constitution has nary a mention of abortion but I do think women should have control of their bodies. I can only hope whatever decisions are made are informed. I am not happy with Congress critters and other government ne'er do wells running to lucrative lobbying jobs after hitting a bump in the road. Mr. David Crockett had the right idea when he opined that Congress should be in session for a few weeks and then the members should go home and look after their "real" employment and families. As far as literal interpretation, I suppose one could spend time considering what "the" means. Best regards, RA11 point

I hate (sort of) being a broken record, but don't forget "Chill Out Boy" on Patpong 1. It's been open a few months now. Patpong 1 won't have the fun views of any of the Soi T places, but Chill Out is pretty nice and gay. give it some time and support and who knows? Chill Out1 point -
First, thanks to Michael for giving me a call saying he would like to see some of the changes going on in Patpong now that Twilight is closing down. We usually meet up at Maxi’s and then head off. The meeting up point now being changed to ...... need a new Maxi’s. I’ve met up with a couple other forum members at Banana Boys Bar on Soi 4. It works ok . Hot Male is still open in Twilight so we decided to meet there and then walk over to Patpong. Arranging the bar hopping was quite simple. I know Michael would prefer to skip shows. Schedule works great for those of you wanting to ship shows.. FreshBoys 2. Show at 10. LuckyBoys show at 10:30. Screwboys show at 11. We went to FreshBoys at 9:30-10. LuckyBoys 10-10:30. Screwboys 10:30-11. Time to have drink , meet some boys, have some fun. Leaving Screwboys at 11 gives you an hour to go back to a favorite bar before the midnight shows start, or just take the boys you have accumulated home with you. Michael was surprised that all the new places were just steps from each other. Hot Male will be opening soon and next to FreshBoys Within 2 minutes you can be at all these new Patpong clubs. We didn’t plan on going to Dreamboys, but standing out front talking to some friends for a few minutes, it appeared to be full with customers and several shirtless boys were wandering around out front. More places should have shirtless boys out front than old Mamasans luring us in. To me these places have been somewhat show dependent. During Songkran weeks, places were overflowing with customers. Now for last couple of weeks, 15 minutes before show time very few customers and as show starts, customers arrive. Show ends and many leave . Many here on the forum don’t like the shows, but they do draw in customers. Thanks Michael and another forum member we met up with in Screwboys. It was a fun Saturday night.1 point

This mamasan sounds predatory which is disappointing to hear about Moonlight. I remember seeing her during my trip but I was assigned an older man who, while keen to sell and probably well aware that I was new to the scene, was not pushy at all. I think Drim’s advice is sound, go visit other bars and stop taking calls from that mamasan. If the old Dreamboys still existed I’d say go there because the mamasan was very polite. Alas, it’s gone. Maybe go for a stroll down to ‘New Twilight’ and see Freshboys?1 point

Bolsonaro: Brazil can't become "gay tourism paradise"
SolaceSoul reacted to CaliPexx for a topic
From President Bolsonaro's past utterances, he has a number of potential scapegoat targets from which to choose: (1) the PT (Workers' Party, which opposed him in the general election); (2) PSOL (the party of openly gay and now exiled deputy Jean Wyllys); (3) "Communists", Bozo's bogeymen who hardly exist in today's Brazil; (4) victims of the military dictatorship; (5) black Brazilians; (6) native Brazilians; (7) Northeast Brazilians; (8) immigrants; (9) women; and, of course, (10) LGBT people. Did I forget any other group of people defamed by Bozo during the course of his political career?1 point -

As opposed to all those warm and fuzzy LGBTQ protections we get from the current creeps in The White House and his supporters? In case you haven’t noticed, anti-LGBTQ rights and protections are being stripped in the USA under the Trump administration, and violence against LGBTQ has skyrocketed. AND in the USA, there are no saunas, prostitution is illegal, and there’s a nationwide obesity epidemic and opioid / meth crises.1 point -
I guess don't mind the pic, they're really not good in marketing, but I got a feedback (many thanks 4 d info btw) that there are new boys in DB Paradiso which is the same level or better than Mr. Perfect Guy (more handsome/good looking & muscular/gym-fit I suppose), he thinks this are new hires so it still got a potential 4 a very good go go bar.1 point

I don't want to cause any problems here for the nursing home. I'm here for 100 days max - that's all that Medicare will pay for. I don't know what will come next for me. My income is not great enough to pay for assisted living. My last week at home I sat in my own shit for a week. I called the rescue squad and they took me to the ER and I was there for 10 hours and was sent back home. My MD that I had not seen for a year came by the next day for a home visit for half-an-hour but did nothing. A few days later I called the rescue squad again and they took me back to the ER and this time I was admitted to the hospital. I was there for two weeks. I had "wounds"/sores on my butt. They went away but have now returned.0 points -

I don’t wish to be interpreted as defending this appalling character but you have raised an interesting point. I recall an article where a number of people were interviewed as to why they voted for him. One was a gay small businessman. Although he despised his homophobic attitude the level of lawlessness in Brazil was getting so out of hand that this gay man said (in his words) that for the moment at least staying alive was more important than his sex life and the “new order” promised change.0 points -
Amazing that a lot of gay people still voted for this guy. Unfortunately that shows how desperate Brazilians are for a change of some sort.0 points

Bolsonaro: Brazil can't become "gay tourism paradise"
brockmiller reacted to pauleiro for a topic
One of the risk is that a militant or a gang of extremists, pushed by Bolso's comments decide to attack some gay targets as happened in Budapest a few years ago when Victor Orban was exciting hungarians to react to immigrants, jews and faggots. The action below happened in 2008 while Orban became Prime Minister of Hungary in 2010, position he still holds now. In recent years, homophobic attacks have increased in Hungary, for example during the Budapest Pride Marches (Renkin, 2009, p. 20). Additionally, in 2017, the US-based anti-LGBTQ group International Organisation of the Family (IOF) was invited by Hungary’s conservative right-wing president Viktor Orbán to hold its big annual gathering in Budapest. This year, the theme was Building Family-Friendly Nations: Making Families Strong Again. This article argues that Orbán’s position on the LGBTQ community is part of his anti-Enlightenment nationalism, which creates the right circumstances for anti-LGBTQ groups to flourish and stir homophobic violence in Hungary ... As a result, Orbán’s anti-Enlightenment nationalism stirs homophobic violence and creates a ‘safe haven’ for anti-LGBTQ groups in Hungary. ACTION BAR set on fire Gay rights activists in Hungary have spoken of their concerns about extreme right-wing violence in the country after a gay bar in the capital Budapest was set on fire with a petrol bomb. The bar, called Action, was attacked yesterday. In a chilling reminder of a tactic sometimes used by terrorist groups, a telephone warning, allowing the bar to be evacuated. Just after the basement bar was cleared, a petrol bomb exploded – it is unclear from reports whether it was thrown – and the foyer was destroyed in the fire. Activists said it could be the work of a group who use a website called kuruc.info. Described as “an extremist nationalist hate site targeted against gay people, liberals, Jewish people,” the phone numbers and other details about gay activists are regularly posted on the site. “This site, although Hungarian, is hosted in a US server, so there is nothing we can do to stop them,” a Hungarian activist from Budapest told PinkNews.co.uk this morning. “Yesterday this site put out an address list of all the gay bars in Budapest, the first in the list being Action. Later that night, it was set on fire.” The chief of police in Budapest has said he is anticipating disruptions to this year’s Pride march on July 5th. Last year at Budapest Pride, a gang of ultra-nationalists, skinheads and fascists attacked marchers along the 7km (4.3 mile) route. Pride organisers said that the police had failed to take appropriate action: “Contrary to a number of reports and the statement of the Interior Ministry, items capable of causing grievous bodily harm were thrown at the marchers: beer bottles, smoke bombs and molotov cocktails,” they said. “The counter-demonstrators continuously shouted: “faggots into the Danube, followed by the Jews,” “soap factory” and “filthy faggots.”” After last night’s arson attack on a gay venue, there is concern that fascist and nationalist extremists are planning more violence against the city’s gay community.0 points
