Outcalls from shops are certainly more expensive, but also more convenient, and at least the price includes tip. 3,500-4,000 isn't surprising at all for one of the places far out from Silom. Personally. I'm a bit surprised Sanctuary Spa even did an outcall. I doubt they do many and the shop probably just quoted as big a number as he could think of. Your money. Spend it as you wish. Some people spend as much on drinks or guys from Moonlight or Jupiter, and that's ok. If your masseur from DM Spa gave you his Line ID then feel free to contact him directly. Many of the guys there work at other shops as well, so it's not like their "exclusive." I wouldn't worry about it.

Bolsonaro simply reeks of homophobia -- not that we didn't know that already. After saying: "O Brasil não pode ser país do mundo gay" ("Brazil cannot be the country of the gay world"), Bozo goes on to throw out this welcome mat to men who have sex with women: "Se quiser vir fazer sexo com mulher, fique à vontade" ("If you want to have sex with women [here in Brazil], go for it"). We, as gay and bisexual men, along with our heterosexual supporters, are particularly offended by Bozo's comments yesterday to the effect that LGBT visitors are no longer welcome in Brazil, ostensibly to avoid Brazil becoming a "gay tourist paradise". Additionally, like many statements Bozo makes, his remarks are idiotic in that, as several of you have already pointed out, his rantings serve to shut down a segment of the tourist industry that includes many potential tourists with substantial disposable incomes, something Brazil could use right now in its struggle to escape economic stagnation. These comments are particularly ironic, coming as they do not long after Bolsonaro eliminated the tourist visa requirement for citizens of Japan, Canada, and the U.S. with the stated goal of increasing foreign tourism to Brazil. More importantly, many of us believe that President Bolsonaro's comments will serve as a license to incite violence against LGBT people, both Brazilians and foreigners. Already one openly gay Brazilian congressman who has fought with Bolsonaro over the years, Jean Wyllys, felt compelled to resign his seat in the Chamber of Deputies and to go into exile because of credible death threats he received following Bolsonaro's election and inauguration. While we probably shouldn't overreact to this news, it's important for those of us who are visiting Brazil now and for the remainder of Bozo's 4-year presidential term to remain vigilant by keeping apprised of the daily news from Brazil. This forum represents an excellent place for us to communicate with each other and to share information about any real or perceived threats to members of the LGBT and other minority communities.

I totally agree with Bolsonaro here. Brazil can't BECOME gay tourism paradise. it IS already gay tourism paradise. :-))

Thank you everyone.. without your guidance and info I obtained here, I would have never learned the new tricks.. as a late bloomer with this biggest fear of missing out (as in spoon's words), I am kinda restless and reckless. It was very hot here today.. so when I got back to my room from lunch outside, it was around noon and I was drenched in sweat. I tried to take a quick nap but the renovation work here at Raya made it completely impossible... so I got up and met with one of my ex classmates who is now working here in BKK for dinner.. While I was thinking to avoid Saturday night crowds at the clubs, mamasan from Moonlight lined me, and then called me.. so I decided to go there again.. it was already 11:45 pm by the time I got there.. there were not many boys left.. seems like many of them have already been offed. Similarly, there were only a few customers there. I was thinking to watch their midnight show, but I blamed it to that very persistent Mamasan, and after saying no to many of her suggestions, I decided to off one of their models while awaiting for my appointment with BB .. (as a side note, BB was off today).. after I paid the model's off fee to the club, I was thinking to wait for him till he finished the show, but they said if the model has a customer, he is exempted from the show.. so we left right after I paid the bill. he as a straight guy couldn't do much in the bed, but he was super nice and very friendly.. put up a private shower show for me, asked me if I wanted to take shower together.. I declined since I just finished my longgg shower just a few minutes prior.. my experience with moonlight's second model was way far better than the first one.. he left with a smile (or at least that's what I thought) and I remained with a smile in my room.. it's already 3:30 am here now.. id better be in the lala land already.

Asnstudent - put me in Vinapu’s camp. 1st nights are for exploration and exhilaration. What you spend is up to you and you haven’t expressed any dissatisfaction. Forum members, myself included, find it helpful to know what’s the ‘going rate’ for things and enjoy parsing the pricing. So the back and forth shouldn’t be taken as criticism, but read as a verbalizing of budget making for our next trip. Keep enjoying your time.

I have been worried since Soi Twilight closed as so many have said the area was gloom and doom and the gogo scene in Bangkok was dead. I have no idea where these ideas came from. The scene is just as active and vibrant as before. The venues have changed. The beer bars are gone but the bars and the gogo scene is great. I was in three bars tonight on Patpong 1: FreshBoys, LuckyBoys, and Screwboys. All three were excellent. All had a plethora of sexy guys to choose from and the boys were just as plentiful as before. In fact, I think the bars have been upgraded as I certainly did enjoy the new seats, new looks, and lighting. Do not listen to the naysayers. It may take some time to walk around and see everything. But, the gay scene and the gay gogo bars are great in gay Thailand and Bangkok's scene is fun and active.

They really overcharge when going 2 hotel rather than u going 2 massage place yourself, since their is transpo and they could not return immediately and be selected again by a customer. Normal full service for 2 hour is around 2.5k so u are paying 1k for outcall, which includes lost time in transport (to and fro) off fee away from center and taxi changes return. I understand DM spa is quite far from silom, so 3.5k seems ok if u get great massage and great service and hot masseur hehe but u can actually get Long time boy for that much too.

it was my mistake.. and I didn't do it only once, but twice yesterday … I had another outcall massage by a boy from Sanctuary spa last night, so I ended up not being able to go to any club last night.. the boy I invited from Sanctuary spa was a small twink, completely different looks from the pictures they sent me through Line.. it was a frustrating experience, but his massage skills were acceptable.. Fee 4000 baht. So, after so much damage was done yesterday, I took it easy today.. I decided to meet with someone I already knew since my first trip.. I brought a small gift for him as a belated b'day present.. he came over to my hotel, we had dinner together, and the rest you know... I completely agree with everyone's saying that s*x is better with someone you already knew.. he's my third boy on this trip, and is the BEST encounter so far. I sent him off to a BTS station.. The demise of Twilight was indeed the end of an era but the makeover of Patpong 2 is the beginning of a new one. What has taken place in less than few months is remarkable by any measure. From Surawong to Foodland, there seems to be something for everyone. And if you can't find it there, you surely will at Moonlight or Soi 4. Or at the dozens of massage shops within 10 minutes walking distance. My next trip can't some soon enough. A friend sent me this photo (looking toward Silom). The signs say it all.

How dark is the darkroom at Babylon ?. Over the years I made a lot of visits to the Sansuck in Pattaya where the darkness seemed to vary at least from year to year. I preferred it very dark when after entrance for quite a while I would be fumbling around in the maze brushing up against bodies, some with towels, some in swimwear and some naked. Then another time it seemed much lighter - apparently Punya or his staff liked to patrol to police the goings on and for safety. a hot tub there would be a good addition but maybe costly for electric. There is a whirlpool but that’s just at ambient temperature. Customers are mainly older farangs, which includes me, sometimes accompanied by their young Thai boyfriends. Years ago I used to take beach boy pickups there, but of course they rarely happen now.

With the power to divert unlimited funds to any damn fool project he might dream up? Picture such a White House occupied by one of the whackier clowns currently competeing for the Democratic nomination. I promised I wouldn't comment on Trump's mental problems but, damn it... something just aint right about this guy PS. Think through Trump's latest defense a bit more. True, but at 4000 baht something isn’t quite right, they’re overcharging him. Especially if they sent a different boy from what was requested! It’s very different from willingly and knowingly agreeing to a high tip request from a specific premium boy

How long was the session? For outcall, there are extra charges. Similar to off fee and then transport which is most likely a taxi. You are paying for the convienient hehe. But i agree, 3.5k-4k is still high, when compared to going to the center.

I read this with mixed views. In the early days before the arrest and imprisonment of his two partners when the company was named Utopia Tours and was based in the Tarntawan Hotel, I took a tour to Luang Prabang. All the details were excellent. I stayed in a lovely guesthouse by the river run by a gay Lao architect who had just returned after many years in Australia. The night tour with a cute guide was less interesting, perhaps because the eye candy and availability of young men in those days meant visiting the few gayish venues was not necessary to find company. The next year I took their tour to Phnom Penh. I have to add that the regular day guides with me on both tours were quite boring even though their local knowledge was obviously excellent. After the company was suspended due to the legal issues involving the partners, I contributed 5000 baht to the legal defence fund. When it finally got going again, I had started just making my own tour arrangements. I also realised their prices, particularly for hotels, were higher than I could get by booking on my own. Until I read the blog link, I had not realised Purple Dragon was a founder of the Bangkok Gay Pride. Sadly that was never going to work. I attended a couple of their Pride Parades. Far too commercial and virtually the only marchers were bar boys and ladyboys. Bangkok was not ready for a Pride Parade then. There were reports early last year of the Parade being revived lat November. That was then postponed because pf the proximity to the late Kings cremation. That idea now seems dead. The blog makes for dismal reading, despite its more upbeat tone at the end. I feel very sorry for those of his customers who have lost cash due to the company going out of business. I hope every traveller in future heeds his advice by making sure they have travel insurance. But one really has to question his choice of partners, the first two ending up being deported and, like the next one, leaving the till empty! To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, to lose one partner may be regarded as misfortune , to lose both looks like carelessness! Frivolity aside, I wish him better luck in his new life.

Just one observation on what night is best in individual saunas. Some of my most memorable experiences have been on what turned out to be a “quiet” night with fewer boys but you connect with someone who is just right. There is an old saying, it only takes one to make an evening!
