Since I have benefitted so much from lurking and hoovering up the information on this site, I should share my experiences here too. This is from last week, a quick stop-over in Bangkok. Dream Boys Paradiso - newly open. Had about 6-7 escorts generally over 30 and somewhat muscular (not buffed). They were in jeans. Unfortunately, I had to sit through about an hour of the drag queen show (10pm?) before I saw them in a line-up. Drinks: 350 baht. There were about 4-5 other customers. The bar was full, i.e. about 40-50 customers. Unfortunately, some of them smoked. Prince massage - had to choose a masseur from the glass aquarium. There were about 20 to choose from (somehow I can't remember what time I was there!), most had bodies that could be described as 'athletic fit.' The one I picked turned out to be Vietnamese. The massage room had an ensuite, but the massage table was placed against the wall. This was as good an indication as any that I was not to expect a good quality massage. Indeed, it was so-so (masseur was nude) and quickly transitted to play. That too was so-so. 60-minute old massage cost 900 baht; minimum tip stated to be 1,000 baht. Urban Male - had to choose a masseur from a line-up of 6-7 guys, mostly average looking. The room had two massage tables and a shower. The massage was even less serious than at Prince, and the afters perfunctory. More importantly, the whole session lasted only about 45 minutes -- as I discovered only on exit. The guy said '10 minutes more' at some point, which I believed, thus hastening the conclusion. 60-minute oil massage was 1,000 baht, minimum tip 1,000 baht. It's off my list now. I can forgive lacklustre massage skills or mechanical pleasuring, but when a manager does not control what can be monitored (the service time provided), it speaks volumes about even basic standards of customer service. Candle-T Spa - I had actually intended to try Sabaidee Spa a few doors away, but the receptionist dd not speak a word of English. It proved impossible to get any information for making a decision. So I walked a few steps to Candle-T. Had to choose a masseur from pictures on a tablet, but there were only about 7-8 guys. The massage was skilled and very relaxing, but after turn-over, it was virtually abandoned. Clearly his interest was to progress to the extra service. This turned out to be quite good though he had difficulty getting hard. 60-minute oil massage 800 baht. Minimum tip 500 baht (not too sure that my memory is correct on this one).

Thank you. These observations more or less mirror mine from the Grand Opening night. It was my first time in Moonlight but I have been following this thread since last year so I believe I'm fairly updated even without being a regular. I will just add some comments to above and add my own observations. Indeed, the Mr Babe is a great dancer and a good performer. Such a joy to watch him dancing/performing om stage. To me, Mr Nakki was the star of the night. A very tall guy with an amazing body. There was something about his smile, attitude and confidence on stage that caught me. I don't know how to express it but on stage he appeared "to own everything"; appearing with such grace/confidence and very well aware of his body and looks; the true star of the night. But I share the view that his stage performance was nothing to report about. Together with Mr Rome, he appeared as an Egyptian God (sorry, but I might have got that wrong, but indeed they wore big togs) - a loud cheer of admiration came from the audience when Nakki appeared on stage during this part of the show - and they wore briefs during the subsequent owners' speech and toast (I failed to understand who the 3 persons invited to get on stage were; obviously, they were speaking in thai). Mr Rome on the other hand was far from being spectacular. Tall and handsome face (at least to some I believe) but body wise he was nothing to report about. Another guy who in my view was not on par when performing on stage was Nicky. Sorry to tell you, but with hardly any face expression on stage and red eyes that revealed that either he was high or had a hangover, he should have stayed home! - he only appeared 1 time as a "bunny guy" in the early part of the show as I recall it, but clearly he didn't feel comfortable performing on stage. I don't understand all the rave about him in this forum; sorry. Also the guy in the shower show wouldn't have worked for me - his body is far too big in my opinion (but admittedly had what appeared to be a nice hard rock in the almost transparent wet briefs) - sorry, but I don't know his name but I believe he is one of the guys that joined Moonlight recently. I share the somewhat negative comments about the long waiting time before the show actually started. However, the major annoyance for me was the way too loud music/sound effects during the show - I regret I didn't wear earplugs. It was far too loud and the following day it was still "ringing" in my ears - the venue should do something about this! And finally, to the speculative comments above about who offed Mr Babe after the show, I'm able to reveal that a farang apparently took him to a dance venue. My farang friend believe he heard that Dj Station was mentioned during the negotiations between the farang customer and the older captain (the one with a face that could easily have earned him a cast in a US gangster movie). We were waiting outside after the show had finished closely to midnight due to heavy rain and from a distance noticed the talks between the farang and the captain clearly speaking on behalf of Mr Babe standing next to him, but unable to hear anything in details. I stopped in to check on DB Paradiso and Luckyboys. Both places are in soft opening stage but look promising. I think it’s going to take a while for the traffic flows to reroute from Soi Twilight. DB Paradiso- many familiar faces and a couple new ones. Mostly a bit older bigger guys. Drink was 350 baht. As reported, it’s much smaller than the old DB. Google translate is OK but, in part because of the different structures of English and Thai, not always reliable. For anything important I do a back translation (translating English to Thai and back to English again.) I am still just not so sure. Maybe I misread something, but the check seems to be a point of contention and the brothers said they charge 12 UDS per hour for personal training. That can't be the right amount. I know of no trainer in any big city who charges so little.

The blaze was reported to have started at about 8.30pm on Sunday night. Some 100 people were evacuated from the nine-storey building via two firetruck ladders and a helicopter. The sauna - said to be popular among locals and travelers from Hong Kong and Taiwan - also operated a massage parlour on the fourth floor and guesthouse on the sixth floor. The incident follows a fire that killed at least 64 partygoers at Santika, an upscale Bangkok nightclub which was full to its 1,000-person capacity on New Year's Eve. Hey kev... hope all is well. Finding the darker skin guys in Rio is tough. This is our 4th time here within a year and its either hit or miss with the darker complexion guys. We saw the most when we spent NYE here. If the darker skin is what you are looking for then come during carnaval or NYE because they are plentiful during those times. The crazy thing about last night is my husband and I were dressed to leave the club and the black stallion in the pic walked in. We quickly made our way over to him because he was so black and beautiful. So you wont be disappointed, I'd go to the DR and get in contact with manny to tell him what you want. He has never let us down. I dont know how he always manage to find the guys to our exact specifications, but he does. Actually contact manny about a month before your trip and let him know what you are looking for. As far as the price of the airline tickets, we paid $681 round trip on a direct flight from Miami. I plan all our travels and I like to start looking for tickets at least 6-9 months out. I always book my Airbnb first and keep a watchful eye on those airline tickets for quite some time. I always love your stories! But question, how would you compare the black guys from Santo Domingo to the black guys in Rio? Like the availability and quality. I’m seriously considering a trip to Rio in October but it’s a shit ton more expensive and I don’t want I be disappointed if there isn’t a decent selection of black guys. When the price of admission is you have to believe that the creator of the universe committed ritual suicide because he was mad at you, it is hard for anything really rational to come after. I think hypocrisy is inherent in all organized religion. Catholicism is one of the biggest, so it gets called out a lot, but no other organized faith manages it better I think.
