Finally managed to get a better report from my friend who was there. Last night he sent a steady stream of funny comments and blurry photos to our group chat, mostly about Babe who was dancing enthusiastically and working the crowd with his smile. Many people seemed to have come just to ogle him. In the towel routine where he was fully naked and thrusting his hips with only his cock covered: “If Babe were a foot taller he could conquer the world!” “He needs to learn to tie his towel properly before doing this act” and finally the moment everyone had been waiting for...the towel slip and “Ball flash!!!” Apparently Moonlight had over 200 visitors last night. It was the fullest they’ve ever been with some people standing, others squeezed into extra stools in the aisles, and upstairs area was filled too. Most were Asian men, some women and farangs scattered around. Audience was very enthusiastic with whoops and catcalls especially for Babe, but they were slightly worn down by the long long wait for the show to start and being forced to sit through several numbers by the fat female singer. 8 sons of Artemis special show was nothing more than a fancy dress model parade with Mr Tam carrying a large inflatable ball proclaiming “Moonlight Grand Opening” However my friend said some of the newly choreographed dance sequences were superb including a routine for all the models in bondage gear (the rehearsal pic I posted before). Nicky who can’t dance made a special appearance here in mesh and a bunny mask. He also said it was electrifying to have Sunny back on stage, especially doing the She Bangs solo. Any act with him and Babe together was a treat to watch. There were some new numbers and a couple brought back from past Halloween and Valentine special shows. The twinks performed two acts to much appreciation and he thought it was nice the big cock performers were also given two acts and announced by name, like a model parade, in Greek themed fancy dress too. It gave the big cock boys some face rather than presenting them as just the sleaziest act, and the cocks were not fully exposed but clearly visible through thin white speedos - the classiest big cock act he says he has witnessed. York did the solo shower, sexy, spectacular body and a full erection but he’s not as good at audience eye contact as Babe. My friend thought it was a pity Babe didn’t get a solo at all. The two guest models Rome and Nakki were anti climatic. They seemed to have brought lots of friends there to suport based on the screams of appreciation. However they were only in one act, a two man model parade in gold togs with supporting drummers but they seemed awkward and unrehearsed. Nakki at least was cute and smiling but Rome just stood there. Apart from being tall - a head taller than the Moonlight models - they did not show up well against the other models who were all in fantastic form. Apparently Mr Lucky bursting right on to stage immediately after, for his own parade, put them to shame. And my friend said their bodies were good but nothing special compared to the models who clearly have all been working out to prepare. The Moonlight models clearly felt the same, one of them told my friend unimpressed “If I tall, I can famous too” Show ended on a high note with a champagne toast and speech by the owner. I take the approach that if something happens to me, it's beyond my control. If, I die, while on a journey, I doubt I will feel embarrassed about anything. Family and friends will adjust.3 points

Dark rooms in saunas
eurasian and one other reacted to ChristianPFC for a topic
I gave up going into darkroom in saunas in Thailand for several reasons: I like to see my partner during sex. Most darkrooms are so dark you can't see and pose a safety risk (I bumped into people and I hurt my feet and leg on furniture that is standing around, so I stopped going before I hit my head or have an eye poked out). And most importantly: if I see nobody I like in the lit areas, why would there someone I like in the dark areas? Eyes adapt to darkness slowly. When entering, can't see anything. But after minutes, shapes appear out of the darkness. That means those who have been in for a while have an advantage that they can see you, but you can't see them. From all my observations in Thai sauna darkrooms I have come to the conclusion, that attractive people don't have to go to darkroom, they can easily get sex in light. Darkroom in Taipei gay sauna is different: the light is sufficient for me, and I go and play every time.2 points -
You seem to have gone batshit crazy over this. Dying will surely come as a relief. Bear in mind that just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not really out to get you. Now pull on your big boy pants, board your flight and order a few drinks. Staying home and shredding your history is a lousy option.2 points

They may already know. I did not come out to friends and family until my youth was long gone. Almost all said something along the lines of "what kept you? We knew that for years". Turns out that what I had not spoken of out of delicacy for their feelings, they had not spoken of out of delicacy for mine. So it goes.2 points

I have a will and executor but I'm not worried at all about what he may find. I will be happy if they have fun at my expense if I will be gone. Most likely , like every decent person would , if they find something compromising thay will keep it to themselves and dispose it discreetly. I strongly believe this is what all of us would do if we found well used dildo among our beloved Aunt Irma's earthly possessions or as a matter of fact, well thumbed Men of Thailand book under Uncle Vinapu stack of t-shirts2 points

Dreamboy Paradiso
Tintinx and one other reacted to Serendeputy for a topic
I stopped in to check on DB Paradiso and Luckyboys. Both places are in soft opening stage but look promising. I think it’s going to take a while for the traffic flows to reroute from Soi Twilight. DB Paradiso- many familiar faces and a couple new ones. Mostly a bit older bigger guys. Drink was 350 baht. As reported, it’s much smaller than the old DB. Layout reminds me of Screwboys with a small stage in front with guys standing and looking a little confused. I didn’t stay for the show but liked the space and will definitely be back. Lucky Boys- this was a pleasant surprise. Quite a nice large airy space one level over street level. They are still doing renovations and were in the process of painting a huge rainbow on the outside of the space. It has a nice lounge like feel and could turn out to be a nice place to spend some time. Stage is large and located quite high in the room. The guys are mostly twinks and there are a lot of them. Like a nonstop flow of twinks on the stage. As has been reported, I was told it’s a combination of forces from Twilight. Drinks 250.2 points -
Pick up at Arcos da Lapa. Basic principle : all boys are available. Of course not immediately, not when they are starting the party, not when they are with friends, ... and the way of approaching them is key. Picking up is a skill - should I say an art ? - same as fishing or hunting. It takes time and psychology. I was mildly interested by a couple of guys but did not follow. Then my friends spotted a cute lad. I went to meet him. Got his whattsapp and his buddy's whattsapp in less than 15 minutes ... Of course you need to speak Portuguese and not approach the guy by saying (even in Portuguese) : you have a nice ass ! Standard conversations (from best to average) are around : 1 girls, 2 drinks, 3 football, 4 location, 5 weather. In this particular case, a girl was dancing in front of us, moving his ass in a very provocative way. When she moved away, I started chatting with the target about how frustrating it was ... name and whattsapp number came after 8 minutes. I used this time to chat but also to better define the target : nice face and shy smile, firm ass, average abs and arms. Chatting also with his buddy and getting buddy's whattsapp was quite easy ... since I was already the friend of his friend ... Now we continue chatting on whattsapp until next step (meeting again in person) which should happen in less than 48 hours.2 points

That ketamine was used was already widely known through one of the excellent Australian TV documentaries which focussed on a speech given by Craig Challen who accompanied his fellow Australian, the anaesthetist Dr. Richard Harris. I don't think many are aware how much is owed to Dr. Harris. He spent a great deal of time in the cave with the boys, getting to know them and getting them to trust him. As Challen stated, Harris did a fantastic job. The boys had no hesitation in literally putting their lives in his hands as he administered the ketamine to put them to sleep. It was also Dr. Harris who decided on the use of ketamine rather than other more obvious tranquillisers. Ketamine is more regularly used in veterinary surgery and had rarely before been administered to young children, especially children in a very weakened state.. Prior to making that decision, Harris contacted anaesthetist colleagues around the world for their advice. Since the effect of the dosage would wear off some time before the boys were out of the cave, Dr. Harris also had to train some of the other divers on how to assess the condition of each boy and then administer a top-up dosage. Only the Lord knows what would have happened if that top-up dosage had been too little or too much. When we return to this wonderfully uplifting story of great courage, we should never forget that even as the first boy was being evacuated from the cave, not one member of the large rescue team believed all 13 would emerge alive. The rescue was so complex it was assumed that some of the boys would certainly die. One of the crucial American team said the casualties could be as high as 60% - as many as 8 of the group. This information was relayed to the Prime Minister before the go-ahead was given for the rescue to start. Magnificent news (although it took place some weeks ago) that both Harris and Challen were awarded the honour of being the 2019 Australians of the Year.2 points

New Boy Bar in Sunee Plaza. Dragon 789 Bar
eurasian reacted to williewillie for a topic
The former boy bar, Good Boys, has closed and moved just across the darkened Sunee Plaza soi to the former Allofmetoo. Dragon is on two floors, with the action on the second floor. It’s been open a few weeks now. Another new boy bar in Sunee Plaza is opening soon and it adjoins Diamond Bar and has same owner. More on this one later.1 point -
Precautions I take in case I die unexpectedly in Thailand or on my way to it
Will7272 reacted to abidismaili for a topic
We all have stuff we don't want family to see. For example sex toys. Or sex tourist magazines (like the Men of Thailand magazine) which if they see it will finally make them understand why you go so often to Thailand. The problem is that if I die in a plane crash on my way to Thailand - or in Thailand itself - my family will of course be informed and in due time visit my apartment and clean it out. They can then see my sex toys and the sex tourism magazines. I rather don't want them to see it, because it feels a bit embarassing. What I do is this: all embarassing stuff I put - before I leave for the airport - in a recycle bin at the bottom with above it normal trash. If I die I am pretty sure they will just throw away the bag with thrash in it and don't look inside it. If I return savely (which until now has always happened) I restore my stuff from the bin and put it in its regular place. Of course this doesn't cover events like getting for example a hearth attack at home or at my job, so there is still some risk if I die unexpectly in my own country. I wonder if I am alone in doing stuff like this. Or you really don't care your parents, sisters, borthers see your dildo's and other toys?1 point -
Guys on layaway....
witty reacted to ChristianPFC for a topic
My last post got lost in discussion of economical situation in Thailand. Here again in italic, and some further notes below. My numbering in quote. 1. There is no precedence. But in principle I would, after several positive encounters. But no free boy managed to tally up enough positive encounters (let's say 4) to warrant a such an expense. Money boys yes, but they already got paid. The boy in question was free (as are most of my encounters nowadays). 2. Considering that even Klong Toey slum has running water, electricity, and some even have aircon and big flat screen TVs, I take the third world back. 3. I have no interest in traveling to as many different countries possible (which seems to be a hobby of some), but rather learn the language to facilitate traveling in that one country, Thailand in this case (and now extending to Chinese and Taiwan). At current, I have overnighted in 55 out of 77 provinces in Thailand and spent estimated 300 nights in 150 different hotels in Thailand (excluding Bangkok and Pattaya). I have travelled an estimated 20,000 km on the Thai railway network, and similar on buses. So yes, I think I am well travelled in Thailand. My low opinion of Thai people is based on my experience. Your experience might be different, but you probably never chased a village idiot from end of the village to the other, trying to get your hand into his pants, and failing. I had many good experiences as well, and should make a statistics to see which is more, maybe it's just my brain that remembers the negative more than the positive. Related subject: how many of your (Scooby) encounters in Thailand are paid? My experiences with money boys in Thailand (mostly Thai, but some Cambodian, Myanmar and Lao as well, however no Vietnamese for me) are overwhelmingly positive. Only when I'm looking for free sex, the problems arise. With money boys in gogo bars, there are no space-time-confusion and other problems, and when hiring online these problems are more easily overcome than with free encounters. New contents: There is actually one boy who would qualify for a gift, after several encounters with no problems! However, he never asked me for money or anything else. That leads to the absurd situation that those who do not ask, do not get anything; and those who ask might get something (I have brought sweets from Germany for boys, and will bring something from Taiwan, just so I can answer that dreaded question "Did you bring a gift/souvenir for me?" in the affirmative. And to avoid answering the follow up-question "What is is?" to assess the value, I will wrap it and send a picture of the wrapped gift! There is a simple reason why I'm reluctant to make gifts: I hate getting gifts! It sounds absurd, but I don't like it when people bring stuff (food or clothes) for me, and I rejected gifts from my parents and we have come to an agreement of only monetary gifts, no more material gifts.1 point -

Jasper you are right. In fact my friend mentioned this too. He was surprised to hear alot of spoken Thai around him and suspects quite a few of the crowd were either there to support their friends (Nakki, Rome, singers or guest ladyboys) or locals lured in from their regular circuit parties and venues but only on very rare occasions. He said tips to the models on stage were scarce, not more than usual weekends, compared to the lavish high rollers at Jupiter.1 point

Sign is now down. Here is what Twilight currently looks like. My friend passed by last night and says the Hot Male side of the strip I s hanging on for dear life until the very last minute...the bars were lit and playing loud music in an effort to attract business, but no more than a handful of lonely customers and boys milling around.1 point

abidismali, there is nothing in Dutch law to prevent you from having a Will. This is especially important for a gay man who may have friend(s) who he wishes to inherit his Estate. In the USA only a fool or a pauper would not have a Will or Trust and a pauper could be killed in an accident and be the beneficiary of a great deal of money; there is no hope for a fool! In my case, my friends would know of my death before my (almost non-existent) family. If this is a real concern for you, then you should take precautions as suggested herein. You could tell family members of your travel plans and advise them of a friend who, in case of your death, will be responsible for your belongings and will have a key for your property. The only real reason for family members to want to immediately enter your property would be to look for valuables which they could abscond with.1 point

Not sure how many of the 200 were there just for the two special models, Babe too has his fair share of admirers. We were speculating who would be the lucky customer who would get to off Babe on this special night. My friend says some other customers were clearly interested to off but the room was so packed it seemed there was no space for boys to come and sit with potential customers. But he eventually saw boys in street clothes leaving with customers post show so the offs did happen. He also said Q is back and in good form, if you didn’t know he had an accident you’d just assume he has an interesting design shaved into his hair.1 point

Have Google translate on your phone...it’s handy to have and is decent with Thai translation. Though sometimes it take more than one attempt. Note - languages can be pre-loaded in case there is poor or non existent internet. Recommend having Cambodian and Vietnamese translations at hand as many many boys are not Thai. and...Vinapu’s suggestions are valid and worked in the pre-app world.1 point

Saturday 117 Friday was packed. Comparatively, saturday is average. I arranged a session with F from Manaus. He is very good looking. Coming from the gym where he worked out his abs and pecs. I ask him why he did not work his ass muscles. "You did that 2 days ago" he answers ... Shower together, then kissing and cuddling on bed. While I am still lying he puts a condom on me and sits on it. The "lazy" position. He moves more or less rapidly, sometimes slowly turning on my dick. Amazing impression. I can see from his face that he enjoys the position as much as I do. Classical "de quatro" is next, followed by the "burning wheelbarrow" which makes him moan and cum a lot ... Great session ... Back in the room. M. is here. One of the best looking guys. I want to go with him once during this stay ... V and A are also here. I would live a 3some with them both, but I am unable to do anything more today (I go later to a club with bf ...). Show is ok. Usual strippers. Nothing special. L. is in the room. He is now 28 and he introduces us to his brother who is only 22. A family business ... we are sitting in a corner and L is facing us. He is with a customer. He soon takes his dick out of the towel and starts wanking. This can be seen frequently. L is branquinho with a very cute manly face and some beard. L is always smiling and sooo sexy when he smiles. He is now wanking his big cock facing us and his customer. His back is towards the room, giving him some privacy. He is soon cumming in the customer s hands ... still smiling. Great unexpected show. I do not remember having seen such a public performance in the past. Very sexy. Thanks L !1 point

Friday. 117 Incredibly packed for a friday. Many boys, many customers, good show, good stripper (Rodrigo Vilella). V is my choice. He joined me in 117. I like his body and manly face. Great smile. Easy going. V is bi, normally top but accepts bottoming. I love fucking his tight little hole. It is a little hard to penetrate (for me) and a little painful (for him) but it is clear that he enjoys it. In the de quatro position (on all four), also called cachorrinho (little dog or levrette as they call it in French), he turns his head to see me fucking him in the mirror. Great deep kisser. I also like the frango assado position since I can see his face and kiss him, while still inside him. I was asked about this term "frango assado" (chicken in the oven). Let me put a picture to illustrate : PS : the bacon is NOT needed for the position. After 117 we go with D. and friends to have dinner and drink around Arcos da Lapa1 point

I agree that it was previously reported that the boys were sedated to prevent the possibility that they may be seized by panic during their escape. What differentiates this news item is that it appeared in one of the most respected medical journals. It describes why the controversial drug, ketamine, was used "off label." I understand that it may not be of great interest to all readers, but it underscores the excellent judgement by the doctor who decided that it was appropriate in these circumstances. Ketamine has the potential for adverse side effects, especially in young people. That all of the boys survived the periling rescue is a testament to that decision and the bravery of their rescuers. Although the New England Journal of Medicine, like The Lancet, is published primarily for the benefit of medical professionals, the topic of the article did not go unnoticed by the world press when it was published April 4th under the title Prehospital Care of the 13 Hypothermic, Anesthetized Patients in the Thailand Cave Rescue. The following are the authors who submitted their experiences to the publication: Maj. Chanrit Lawthaweesawat, M.D. Medical Association of Thailand, Bangkok, Thailand Richard Harris, B.M., B.S., F.A.N.Z.C.A. SA Health, Adelaide, SA, Australia Maj. Gen. Wutichai Isara, M.D. Royal Thai Army, Bangkok, Thailand Krit Pongpirul, M.D., Ph.D. Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand Major news services across the globe picked up the story and that's how it came to my attention. It was not my intent to rehash old news but to post updated information about a story that captured the hearts of many members. https://www.nejm.org/1 point

Dark rooms in saunas
ChristianPFC reacted to williewillie for a topic
It’s been years since my last visit to Babylon. In the dark, I recall hands on my head and interest waned when they found no hair. An acquaintance, who sports a full toupee, sits in the dark room and when his head is touched, it’s a full head of hair and he can ‘smoke’ all comers. If one could see how enormous and ancient, the toupee wearer was, most would flee. One ploy is to wait outside the dark room and follow a desirable lad inside. The dark room levels the playing field, but I like to see before I play.1 point -
Soi Twilight closing....what?
ChristianPFC reacted to paulsf for a topic
as of tonight only 3 places left open. Dreamboys, Hot Male and Maxi’s. With most of the bright lights turned off Twilight was very dark. Few unsuspecting tourists walking thru were surprised but told places to see in Patpong and they quickly walked off. No customers at Dreamboys or Hot Male around 10. I hung out at Maxi’s from 8-10. Anywhere from 5 customers to none. Quick drink and gone. No food was served in the 2 hours I was there. I have a hard time believing there will be anything to see in a couple of weeks, there were some workmen in FreshBoys taking things apart. A few Massageboys from Bangkok Massage were cleaning out lockers. One mention they will have new location in about a month and that most of the guys have gone home and will come back for new place. A lawyer working for the Soi was wandering around with a couple of police officers. They were just checking that everyone that was supposed to be gone was. It was said that tomorrow they will wall off the right hand side of the Soi. If it looked dark and depressing tonight, tomorrow will really be depressing.1 point -
June - Weather, boys?
t0oL1 reacted to Travellerdave for a topic
In the cooler weather I sometimes dispense with the aircon and open the window or balcony door and let a little fresh air in. Although that’s not good if insects penetrate the room. I seem to sleep better that way. Boys don’t seem to mind - Asleep is their natural condition.1 point -
Sounds tempting but only sounds, turning A/C too low during hot spell is dangerous to our health when we are moving from very cold inside / room , bus train , car / to very hot outside, brisk business for pharmacies selling aspirin and the like in summer. In Thailand never ever I set a/c to lower then +26 Celsius and often feel sorry for a boys barely dressed shivering in the bars under A/C draft. As for boys clinging to me tightly I have better invention , not necessarily cheaper though. It's called tip negotiated in advance, works 87.63 % of the time1 point
