    Moonlight Gogo Bangkok

My intent is not to derail the thread but the many posts jostled my memory back to 1970’s San Francisco when the Campus theater was sort of a crude Moonlight of its day. Rick Donovan is the model I recall best. William Higgins made him one of the top stars of his well-done films. Rick appeared from time to time as did other headliners of the day. He’d do some stuff on stage before walking down the isle to allow guests to deposit bills and inspect the merchandise that was the talk of the town. It was before internet and word about places like this came via word of mouth and guides like Spartacus. A different era to be sure but Campus earned all the hype Moonlight does today.

  3. Thanks DivineMadman for all his work and posting. If massage was my thing, I would visit all of them and contribute, but it's not (currently about one massage per month). Varying massage skills have been brought up. There was one guy I liked in (forgot the name, long closed, underneath BTS Sala Daeng on Eastern side). His massage was poor, but he was my type. And in the course of one year of working there, his massage skills did not improve. Occasionally friends who do not work in massage give me massage, and usually good.

  4. No, I did not pay for anything in advance. I have never done that in Thailand and never would. However, with some USA well-reviewed escorts, I have put down a retainer for well-known porn stars and with agencies. But, this was not one of those occasions.

    Election

The Myanmar model? an election to keep the UN et al of its collective back, the appointment of a useful idiot who will toe the line (even if she has won the Nobel Prize) and the same policies as before, ensuring the continued dominance of the ruling-class. The only thing that hasn't been tried yet is Buddhist Nationalism - seen to great effect in the massacres of the Rohingya and Tamils. Let's hope it stays that way, though we should expect more repression of the Red Shirts who probably represent a majority of Thais in poorer areas.

It could be that the boys are not comfortable to be showcased in the fb? I noticed moonlight also didnt show their regular boys in their fb, just the models, who are by definition loved to be in the spotlight.

Saw a clip of York performing the She Bangs routine. It appears this is now shared between him, Tam and Babe with the first two subbing in when Babe is not available. The is the first time I’ve seen him in a full solo dance. He has a very animal presence that reminds me of Fluke and can really grind his hips!

Yes...no pictures of the boys but so many pictures of the mamasans LOL. I suppose they are famous enough they don’t need to rely on social media? Moonlight has the best social media but they should also feature the rotation boys as many people now think the bar only has muscular guys.

  9. I traveled to Brazil more than one hundred times over a fifteen year period. I never had a mugging until late last year. Perhaps, because of my good luck over those years, I did not expect that two guys would suddenly see a gringo to mug who was hurriedly heading toward a restaurant. For those who have not been mugged - YET - it is easy to say "use common sense" or a variety of empty words that suddenly change after they, themselves, become a victim.

  10. I was mugged in Rio in 2005 which I reported on another thread. There is a wealth of wisdom here. I never go on public transport and am very wary of walking alone. The lesson to be learnt from my experience is that you are not safe because an area is “busy”. My mugging occurred almost in front of the Copacabana Palace at about 6:45pm and barely dark, in front of a group who just stood and watched not to mention numerous passers by who ignored my screams for help.

  11. Below is a link where Americans and citizens of certain other countries can obtain a Brazilian computerized visa that Brazil calls an e-visa or electronic visa - there is that bad word again - visa - (Fake news). The Brazilian electronic travel authorization (e-visa) will not be pasted to a traveler's passport. The e-visa will only come to the traveler via e-mail. The travelers' passport will be verified, electronically against information provided when applying for the e-visa or electronic travel authorization. According to certain posters in the forum, an electronic travel authorization is not a visa and is "fake news" if one refers to the new electronic travel authorization (visa) as a visa. Whenever I hear the term "fake news" it usually comes from FOX news or from Trump or one or more of his supporters. Therefore, anything "Trumpish" has no credibility for me. Anyone interested in reading about Brazil's new optional electronic e-visa, check out this link: https://www.bronlinevisa.com/en However, be careful. If after reading the link, you might want to do what Brazil does and call the travel authorization a visa - Naughty, naughty.

Idk but it looks like there is no shower area in Fake Club. Maybe he should just consider to return to Moonlight, perhaps? Lol

  13. yes as long as you confirm that your Line choice will do what you want (or ask the manager(s) via Line to tell you who does what you want).

  14. DivineMadman - Thank you so much for your Sabaidee spa recommendation. The somewhat hidden entrance and cozy feel of the place just gave me a relaxed and non-intimidating vibe. The person who manages Line was also spot on and honest in the assessment of the guys. A few other centers simply ignored my initial Line contact. So for someone shy like me who likes the idea of prebooking rather than taking a chance and choosing from a fish aquarium, this place is great ! The place also has a “discreet” feel to it. Definitely a return for me for next visit to Bangkok in June

z909, I'm 100% with you. I don't like bars full of drag queens or lady boys. I find drag shows totally boring and leave when one starts. Each of us are entitled to our opinions and how we feel about things and I know that you and I are not the only guys who feel this way about this issue.

  16. Michael, what is preventing you from going to Pattaya? The 5K seems better spent on your own transport and hotel stay. And you could have an enjoyable short visit and the chance to sample additional boys.

    Airport

so many replies ... hope OP doesn't get confused lol as captainmick in last post said, look for "Thai Royal Silk" sign towards the left as you enter the main immigration hall. It's not very big and seems almost hidden if you don't know you're supposed to be looking for it. Taxi: as Scooby pointed out, just go UP to departure level (level 4) and go out there, there will be enough taxis there more than happy to take you. Not only will they almost ALWAYS be happy to use the meter (happy to get a passenger back from airport at all!), but also saves the 50 Baht airport fee, which doesn't apply there. I ALWAYS do this now since probably 2 or 3 years, and never failed to immediately get a cab there, zero wait. Getting a taxi there is presumably also faster then pre-ordering a limo service, as you will not only have to find your driver (ok may be just a minute), but also walk to the parking lot, which can take some time. Exit and taxi at departure level is the fastet IMHO. At this time, well after 11pm, traffic will be fine even on Friday, so this will be your fastest way to the hotel. Do make sure to tell the driver "go highway" (although they always ask this by themselves already). You will be asked to pay for the highway toll at the two highway toll stations on the way, but it's a negligible 25 + 50 Baht. If you have Thai Baht cash already on you (which you need anyway to pay driver), then you can use a 1000-Baht note at the toll booth as a convenient way of getting smaller bills to pay the driver.

  18. Forget the whole transaction. There are too many good guys on offer in the big mango to warrant drawn out negotiations. Never lose sight of the rule: distance lends enchantment.

  20. yes and actually the customer's misfortune, too, as his evening was thoroughly ruined. However, I'm not sure what kind of compensation the customer was seeking from the bar and why. Refund of the off fee? Or damages for (hopefully and presumably minor, if any) injuries? Why and on what basis? I don't think doing so would cross my mind....

  21. Depends how you define them. There are just a few more as gay sauna's here in BKK and well-known christian has reviewed these about all and makes periodically overveiws. However, the changes of opening/closure of these m2m shops are far, far more as for sauna's and thats the challenge. But it would not be impossible for someone who lives more or less permanently here in BKK and knows the city (or is prepared to shell out for grab etc.) to at least visit the main 40/50 (thats about the nr of those actively advertising and certain of giving the required extra's as selfevident) in say 3-4 monthes. But there are at least the same nr of places that are ''maybe/perhaps'' or just by some of the workers, who may work only part-time. In my personal listing, Ive been to slightly over 40 by now, of which near 20 are closed already. And that still misses out nearly all in the Silom area. Sources that also list them-advertising: gboysiam69, thaimassageboy, tmmsociety, gthai.net. Unless someone known more. Problem is nowadays, that many only do fb-accounts and many also now only open for prebooked clients, via LINE. Those for unannounced walk-ins are slimmer by the day.

  22. Good advice all. I've tried to make it clear that the info I put out isn't even intended to be complete or exhaustive, and only occasionally up-to-date. I figure the guys who are inclined to go explore some of the different parts of Bangkok will figure that out on their own. I try to get to places a few times before posting a meaningful write-up. I may have a good time at DM Spa but I'm not getting back there this year, just because I'm busy. Lat Prao is such a traffic nightmare these days I'm just not even thinking about going over there. I get the shakes just thinking about going near Don Muang, which means what looks to be a nice new place like Orchid is going to be left for someone else to report on. I'm not sure some places really even care much about the farang crowd. And it's really about the guys there at that particular day (as Crystal Relax points out now), so how much can you really plan. Personally, there are some guys at Koonpaan (rough transliteration) who I think are really sexy, but I'm not sure they're everybody's type and it's not convenient, so, again, why bother. There are some places that I just ignore for other reasons. One place was discussed on a Thai board and I thought the owner's responses were off-putting, so forget it (as far as I'm concerned). A new place that started being active on Line posted pics of two guys that seemed rather young and put "17-18" as the caption. Delete block and move on. If you have found a good place that you want to give some advertising - post about here. I wanted to get AEC some visibility to support a nice small new business and I took a shine to a couple of the guys. Bantai is still in business. Somedbody have time to go there and update?? Or if you have favorite place that you want keep secret (like Pong), fine. Up to you. gboysiam and if you want to go through the hoops tmmsociety are good sources of info. I've found out about places from other members here (thank you 1moRussian ). I've also found out about places by facebook suggestions and similar random connections.

    Mexico this week

i have been here 3 days and the weather is perfect, Sunny with daytime temps 82/84 and nighttime around 62! We went to the newer gay bar and it was full and had various dancers walking on the oval bar dancing and removing their clothes until they were naked, at the same time another 10+ guys were working the room! The Brazilian who is staying with me was asked by the manager and then later by a waiter if he wanted to dance on the bar! he politely refused. the other Brazilian who is staying gets here today, he was suppose to get here Friday but the travel agency he works for in Cancun had asked him to work the last 2 days because of a influx of Brazilian tourists(Cancun is the new hotspot for Brazilians). Had a small party last night and one of the Americans invited a guy off of Grindr over and another local i know showed up and by the end of the night they were flashing their dicks(with the encouragement of FloridaRob)Everyone who wasn’t staying here left at 3:30 this morning!
