I do love being a moderator as I can often go off topic a bit and says 'whoops' and move without getting spanked. IMHO, the best thing that Boytoy has going for it is the Latin American forum. But, one post in three days? We used to have multiple posts per day. Hopefully recent rancor has not affected the forum. I feel certain that after Sunday's election more posts will arise, by why wait until then?

Just yesterday I listened to Bohemian Rhapsody. If it were a coming out song, it surely was a poor vehicle for that. I have watched the movie trailer, which, if anything, should turn people off on the movie. Yet I love the music and a interested in seeing how Malek interprets Freddy. So, I will see it. (I have a friend who used to date Mercury in his prime. I will see what he has to say!)

Personally, I just can't see Trump as Hitler. For me he has always seemed much more like Mussolini. All the narcissism but with a clownish self-presentation.

It takes a real man to step into another man's shoes and attempt to empathize. As the board owner (moderator), you don't get to feel what it's like to be the brunt of someone's ire, especially when you break your own rules or appear hypocritical. As a general rule, trolls are not going to treat an owner/mod with risky disdain. Trolls tend to know who is paying for the bandwidth, and they usually don't want to get booted or timed out. The same is true of dedicated, supportive members. I applaud you, Oz, for recognizing the other side of things. I applaud you further for standing up, explaining reality, and often correcting a wrong.

in re: Romeo/Hunqz: Putting this another way .......Both Google and Apple ban escort etc firms from having Apps on their system. To access these type sites you have to use the internet browser on your phone or device. Romeo has an app on Google and Apple so it had to separate off it's escort side and make it inaccessible from the Romeo app, which is now sort of a Grindr. The new escort side is called Hunqz, and like Rentmen, you have to bookmark or google it and access it through your phone's browser. Oddly, once you get to Hunqz, you can sign in with your Romeo sign-in, which is nice because it combines your messages and contacts so they can be reached even on your phone through Romeo. You just can't open an escort contact's profile. But you can message them through the Romeo app once you've even said "Hi" to them in Hunqz. Or you can add them to your 30 free contacts as favorites. On Windows the sites are combined. The advantages of Hunqz over Rentmen are that since Hunqz is free or very cheap, it has many many more guys and they charge less than the older established ones on Rentmen. It has been the go-to gay escort site in Europe for many years now and everyone knows it and it's the place they first think of listing. Hunqz photographs are much more candid and vivid and there's a lot less misleading photos than Rentmen. The porn actors usually use a couple porn photos together with a few current candid ones, but most guys just snap live selfies for the ad. For many years I stood. Then I experienced a few male house guests who were pigs. Some from my own family. I felt sorry for my housekeeper. I tend to keep a very clean home. I like luxurious bathrooms the smell of freshly clean. I don't like the stench of dry, stale urine. I'm not a cleaning fanatic, but I've been known to clean the house before the house keeper arrives. Even though she's been employed by me for almost 30 years, I don't feel comfortable with her doing certain things. I have since found that if the males sit when using the toilet, they make much less of a mess. The toilet smells better for longer periods of time. Our building conserves, so we're not allowed toilets with large water tanks. With less water, the toilet bowl requires maintenance to keep it smelling fresh and clean. I don't want to clean the toilets every day, so I now ask male guests to sit when they need to piss. It is amazing how helpful this has been. My housekeeper recently asked me if I ever use my toilets. My new system of sitting is working. I also ask guests to not flush in the middle of the night. My building is older, and the plumbing noise can disturb neighbors who struggle with sleep.

Several younger gay men in Rio and SP I’ve talked to are so concerned about crime and jobs, they are willing to give this right wing nut a chance. The hope is that he focuses on that. They frankly hate both options. Sound familiar to the 2016 US presidential election?
