BBB, since buying your ticket for you would involve holding it for you until the drawing, I'm not surprised you're having a problem finding someone you can trust. I have the same problem since my state doesn't allow lottery sales. Maybe you could try my method. Seeing that my chances of winning do not appear noticeably different whether I buy a ticket or not, I do not buy a bunch of tickets (I figure the more I don't buy, the better my chances). A hundred bucks worth seems about the optimum number to not buy. All the fantasy fun with no fuss or bother! I have a few in my stable who are strictly gogo boys (gogo boys tend to view themselves on a higher strata than mere sauna boys, for some unknown reason — I guess whatever helps you sleep at night). After what happened in 2016 I would not waste my time making predictions, although it is fun and tempting. Instead, I am making sure everyone I know votes, and does it for the right person. Of course, I already voted.

I'm furious! Most of my Republican friends are FURIOUS. Former Republican Steve Schmidt is our hero! Trump is a BUFFOON. A FRAUD. A carnival barker. A pathological LIAR. He's a MOB BOSS. He's ignorant. He doesn't read. He's a PIG. He's a disgrace to this country. He's a threat to this country. He never should have won the primary. He does not belong in the White House. If ever I wished ill for someone, I wish it for Trump. Every time I see him hobble down the steps of Air Force One, I keep hoping the old, fat man trips, breaks his neck, and drops dead of a McDonald's heart attack. I've never felt that way about a president before, and I was no fan of George Bush. Trump is doing great harm to this country. He deserves harm in return. The crash of 2008 was devastating for many people. Both political parties did not do enough to help these people. I understand the insecure male white mobs are angry. Many are racist homophobes, who believe some minority is out to get them. I understand there are some women who vote the way their men do, no matter what. Most of these people believe in conspiracy theories. Most of these people are uneducated. Most of these people are biased by default. They're going to see black no matter how beautiful the blue. FUCK 'EM! The blues have to get out to vote. The blues outnumber the people who see black when the sky is blue. Voting is the only way to fix this mess.

Guys, you agree more than you disagree. As the OP, I don't mind some digressions in the thread, but fights I prefer to see settled amicably. You are both good posters, so why not let this go?

Monday, at Lagoa in Sao Paulo, is usually a quiet night with hardly any clients and/or garotos. Rodolfo came up with an idea that he thought would make Monday a profitable night. Last night (Monday) Rodolfo lowered the entrance fee at Lagoa to R$30 - that's right - R$30 - Even in the early days of my visiting Lagoa nearly fifteen years ago, the entrance fee was R$35 - Bottom line - the place was packed with both clients and garotos. A good time was had by all. There is no guarantee that Rodolfo will stick with this same promotional entrance fee for future Mondays. He would be a fool if he didn't considering the huge turnout of clients/garotos which equalled a profitable night for him. Those who are interested and are in Sao Paulo on a Monday, can call the sauna and ask about the promotion.

it depends on you! your personality/ salesmanship/ and it coinciding with the night they need cash! It has been my experience...that until they know you a little they won’t! once they have seen you around or you have been introduced to them then expect double the price you have been paying the sauna guys as a general rule. Usually i don’t think they are worth it as they think they just have to lay there, but i did see one regularly for almost 2 years who was a exception to the rule!(he is still dancing/stripping)

To be even clearer, the “gay beach” (or the gay part of the beach) in Ipanema is directly between Postos 8 and 9. The dead center of it is where Farme de Amoedo ends at Av. Vieira Souto, and you’ll see two barracas (beach vendors) with gay rainbow flags (among others) on the beach. The periphery of that area is gay-friendly, but the farther you go out away from it, the less so (by Rio standards, of course). I just want to clarify this because some posters (and lurkers) here are WAY too literal, and could end up going directly in front of Posto 8 or Posto 9, expecting a “gay Barbie” experience and getting hugely disappointed.

Day 6-8: Um Boy Um Carro I am going to rush through 2 and a half non-sauna days into one post. I have ventured to three different saunas in 4 days (with a repeat to Sauna Olimpo in Belo Horizonte). As much fun as the saunas are, I needed a break from them. Luckily, Leo, my hairdresser companion for this trip, is an awesome sidekick when it comes to touring Brazil. We thought about venturing outside of the Ipanema and Copacabana axis and discover the rest of Rio state. But taking a break from the sauna did not mean taking a break from boys. We will pay him a daily rate. He will be with us the whole time. We will pay for all his food and drinks and lodging, which would be a room with me or Leo or whatever lodging we could muster at the beaches. I am fully aware that I am combining three disparate people into my fold and expecting them to get along. Let’s see what happens: 1. Leo, Gabriel and I have dinner first before Mateus arrives, and the differences between the Carioca and the Paulista have never been more apparent, from the clothes (Carioca casual vs. Paulista cool), demeanor (Carioca bombast vs. Paulista wit), and temperament (Carioca impulse vs Paulista introspection). We pick the restaurant Carretao, which has been discussed before in this site. We were quoted a 100 real per person price. I was prepared to pay for that but Leo was not. We start walking away and the concierge counters with a 60 real per person price. Leo accepts. Is this dual pricing? I was ready to pay. The food was great. The churrasco very yummy. But I can see how they can take advantage of tourists this way, who wouldn’t necessarily negotiate a lower price like locals would. 3. Mateus' car was a bit on the small side, but snuggling up to Gabriel in the backseat while Mateus and Leo in the front shot the shit, was pretty awesome actually. It made the 2 or so hours drive fly by, On the way I opened my Grindr and talked to a few boys from Niteroi to Itaborai to Arrail. Gabriel and Mateus, Cariocas to the very core, wore skimpy trunks and had a ball frolicking in the sand and water. Leo, more reserved, was in boxer trunks. Pretty sexy, but still, more reserved. I went back to read some of the posts from2011,2012, and 2013, We were doing the same things then- making inquiries, advising each other, recommending this or that. All very civilly. Ihpguy was right there with some pretty good advice from someone living there. He told us about teller and other strikes, Metro closings, and things of that nature. He kept us up to date on Meio Mundo and Acyr! So I am happy that he is back, hopefully to stay awhile.
