Let me see...the last time I saw Tomcal at Point was Thursday night. He had a gorgeous twink following his every step with puppy dog eyes. What’s not to like about Point?

I already know what happened to him as I follow him on social media and I know at least one other former garoto who knows him. I don’t think he has ever lived in the kind of extreme poverty that you describe. That being said, I don’t think it’s wise to place any garoto, massagisto, escort, street hustler or any kind of sex worker or pick up in a position where it is too easy to steal or rip you off. I have many other guys that I have had over to my place — at home or during travel — and who knows what any of them would’ve done if a wallet with $350 were left out. Some may not have touched it at all, but some otherwise “nice guys” might have — socioeconomic background or poverty level notwithstanding. The lesson is: don’t put yourself in the position where you have to find out. BTW, this guy had already voluntarily gotten plenty of reais from me 3 days in a row for the hookups, plus meals and some workout supplements that he wanted (which are pricey in Rio). I don’t think his extra “gift” that he took from my wallet had anything to do with poverty or need. He could’ve just asked me for it, if that were the case. Long story short: I’m not interested in booking up with him any longer.

since pointe202 opened in 2002 it has seen a lot of changes and has gone from the top to the bottom to in between and back again as the best sauna in Rio IMHO! it is now busy 4 nights a week with Weds still being the best followed by Friday and monday and thursday! last night i had another full encounter with one of the Massgistas! Manhatten was also fairly busy! between these two i have not had the inclination or desire to visit 117, although if you are in to muscle guys it is the place to go especially Tues. nights

It's true, that was actually my favorite show bar in CDMX. The guys were hot and the wait staff friendly. Now the guys were usually straight and just gay for pay but, I just liked to relax with my date while drinking Jack and Cokes. They have a new place though the quality of guys was not as good on my last visit.

My favorite is still 117 lol, but yes it just a question of individual taste concerning the type of boys. Yesterday I went to Manhattan (as you suggested) and I really liked the environment and the upstairs bar as well, very intimate, but not really the boys - but I am sure most foreigners will like.

I may be slow, I still do not fully understand. The steam room was close, clear difference I can grab. But what do you mean by "everyone is a customer and functions as a hustler bar". What is that? a paradox or an oxymoron? Perhaps you are assuming we know a bunch of stuff many of us don't.

Not to blame the victim (me), but I’m usually on my Ps and Qs when it comes to self-protection. I would’ve prevented this crime of opportunity by simply putting my wallet in the safe before he entered the apartment. I charge the $350 (R1300) loss to the game. And yes, over the years, he’s missed out on much, much more from me. I was far more irreplaceable to him than he was to me. In fact, I went out that very afternoon to the sauna and found me another!

I went last Friday night, the 10th, and shared many of your observations on the size of the sauna. But, there is a great deal of enthusiasm behind this new place, and I don’t underestimate the new owners in their determination to make the place a success. But, our cab driver, even with the address, could not find the place. We got out and walked, and it was just two blocks farther down.

MR is closed on Tuesday’s so the owner thought that would be a good night to have a private party. there was the owner myself and 8 sauna guys who were invited. plus one new guy who happened to stop by because he was new in town and needed to work and a friend had told him to try here, so we let him in and he eventually stayed the night at the apartment with 5 other guys! We supplied free drinks and food plus use of any suites they/we, wanted to use! it was a fun Tuesday night! Tonight at Pointe which was PACKED, several guys came up and wanted to know why they were not invited, i just said i didn’t make up the guest list!

You may be right and it is laziness, I am not sure. However, notice that using WhatsApp as voice instead os text message exchange system is prevalent in Latin America. Everyone does it, all the time.

This is why Medellin needs a little preparation before a trip, preferably connecting with guys on Chaterbate. There are swarms of hot looking guys in Medellin more than willing to have sex with men but connecting with them is hard. The trade on the block of hustler bars is not too good looking. Club Tobi is large and many good looking guys but since there are only 2 or 3 masseurs working on a certain day, if they don't meet your preference it can be hard. In Bogota there are plenty of masseurs in all the saunas but few good looking, twice Medellin rates, and not much sex.

Botas Bar (Niza, 45) closed a few weeks ago. Hard to say if it will re-emerge as another stripper club incarnation. This area of Juarez is " hopping" and all the streets were dug up and redone last year, as they were as well in Zona Rosa. Perhaps the adjacent parking lot and environs is slated for development. I myself stayed in a new large condo bldg nearby.
